A Baptism of Fire!

If you all recall last week I mentioned about I

don't remember exactly what day it was, but it was

before Sunday, obviously, because it was last Sunday, I believe

I mentioned this.

And it was either Friday night or Saturday night a week.

Ago, where the Lord put Asbury's Revival in front of

me in the night, and I was reminded of Asbury,

and I thought, huh, that's interesting.

And then.

After hearing Charlie Kirk's wife's press release, there's a couple

of things she said that I really believe could truly spark.

A movement in a way.

You know this, We've been talking forever about revival and

the church and awakening to the nation.

But I really believe that the Lord's response is going

to be outpouring with all my heart. I believe that's

his response.

See, God does not repay evil with evil, otherwise evil advances.

So we move in righteousness in spite of evil when

we bless those that curse us. So but I was

reminded of that Asbery outpouring and I've been pondering that

and obviously praying and asking the Lord to do that

here locally, in the high schools and universities, and because

we are in need of a desperate.

Move of God in this nation.

But his wife said this, the evildoers responsible for my

husband's assassination have no idea what they've done. They killed

Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith, and

of God's merciful love.

They should all know this.

If you thought my husband's mission was powerful before, you

have no idea. You have no idea what you just

have unleashed across this entire country and this world.

You have no idea.

You have no idea the fire that you have ignited

within this wife, The cries of this widow will echo

around the world like a battle cry. You know, moves

of God have absolutely been built on.

The blood of martyrdom.

And I know that's not an easy statement or a

light one. Interestingly, since Charlie's untimely death, there's been over

thirty two thousand and Turning Point USA flooded with new

campus chapter request thirty two thousand requests for Turning Point campuses.

You know, for years I've.

Told the church that persecution was coming to the United States.

There was no way around it that it would come.

And I've also mentioned that we have not had a

healthy theology on the sufferings of Christ. We have been

so blessed and so fortunate in the Western Church, but

we were not able to steward that prosperity properly. So

therefore the church has grown weak. It's starting to wake up.

It's not going to get easier, y'all.

I'm not going to.

Say here and tickle your ears, but things have shifted

and there is no going back to the old normal.

So you need to understand that the times and seasons

we're in are turbulent. They're not going away, and God's

calling his bride to a higher standard.

I can't think of a of a time that.

Or a need at least in this time that we

need a move of God. See, I don't think the

Lord's gonna move because we're so amazing. I think for

his namesake and his covenant that he's cut with us,

and for his namesake, he's.

Going to react.

I want to encourage you do not buckle the fear

in this hour. There are two very important things in

this moment that you need to hear. If you don't

hear anything else I say today, and that is lawlessness

will harden your heart if you're not careful, and the

spirit of lawlessness is loose, all sin is lawlessness according

to the scripture, and we are seeing lawlessness. You can

choose to believe that this is a political situation, but

it's not.

It is about good and evil.

It is about.

Principalities and powers. It's about a fight of the enemy

trying to slow things down. See many times when we

talk about spiritual warfare, we really don't understand spiritual warfare.

The enemy is not fighting God. It's not even a contest.

He's coming after us to try to inflict pain to

the Lord's heart.

Secondly, the enemy.

Is doing everything he can to keep you sound asleep,

because if you're asleep, the kingdom is not advancing. And

if the Kingdom is not advancing, then the Great Commission

is not being fulfilled. And if the Great Commission is

not being fulfilled, then he has more time. Why because

he knows the reality that when the fullness of the

gentiles comes in the incomes, he knows his time is short.

So he's actually doing everything he can to slow this

process down, and he does it by getting us deceived.

He does it by getting us to be unwilling to

surrender our lives fully to the Lord Jesus, and that

slows things down. He wants us entertained, he wants us happy,

he wants us ignorant, and he wants us fighting with

each other. And guess what, y'all look around the Big

C Church in the United States when we are literally

living in a moment where people think the rapture is

gonna happen September twenty second. That is complete ignorance of

the scriptures. How many times do we have to be

reminded that no one knows the hour or the day.

And if you have come under the delusion that you're

gonna take your helmet off and get raptured out of

here on the twenty second and the kindest way possible,

that's not going to happen. I could totally go off

on an end Times teaching right now, but I'm not

going to that's what That's not where I want to head.

But I will say this. It wasn't until the late

eighteen hundreds.

A young lady by the name of McDonald had a

vision of which she called the Rapture Schofield I have

a hold of this teaching and made it very popular.

Up until the late eighteen hundreds, no one ever separated

Jesus's return into two parts.

It was always the Second Coming.

Now.

I know some of you all want to throw tomatoes

at me right now because the pre tribe, pre millennial

position has been so big in the Western Church.

But what if there is no rapture?

Yeah, what if there's only the Second Coming? But what

if our understanding of the tribulation period a.

Lot of it's already happened.

What if a lot of the stuff that we're fighting

over right now doesn't actually even change your commission, but

the enemy would rather have you distracted arguing with each

other over things that don't change your commission.

That's my pastoral smile.

My teeth aren't quite as.

Sparkly because I drink lots of coffee. But y'all, we

need to understand the times and seasons we're in now.

If all you just heard was Justin doesn't believe in

a rapture, he's going to hell, then you're wrong. But

what I'm saying is I think when Jesus puts his

literal foot.

Down on the Mount of Olives. When he shows up,

we're all going to be shocked on the way it

played out.

So regardless of your end Times perspective, it does not

change your commission. You're to be making disciples of all nations,

and you start building in your backyard, and when you're

able to actually stewart what's in your backyard, then you're

found worthy with that talent to actually increase and have

more responsibility in the kingdom. The disciples response to persecution was, Lord,

look at this. Would you stretch forth your arm and

signs and wonders and tick them off more? That's my paraphrase.

Their response was, give us more power to bring more persecution.

Do you understand Paul when he's talking about persecution, he

was filling up in his physical body what was lacking

in the sufferings of Christ with the church. He was saying, listen,

some of y'all aren't living a life that's worth being persecuted.

So I'm standing in the gap and I'm filling up

the sufferings of Christ in my physical body on your behalf,

because you have grown asleep or fallen asleep. You're either

a target or a victim, and there is no difference,

and there is no middle ground. If you think you're

in the fence, the enemy owns it. Jesus said, when

I come back, will I find faith? Listen, if he

comes back on the twenty second, awesome, I'm ready let

her rip. Like I know, I know him, and I'm

doing what he's called me to do. Whether I like

it all the time or not. I mean, I know

y'all always like everything you do every day. It's just

I'm telling you my part. But the reality is, it

says judgment starts first with the House of God.

So pay attention. What are we seeing.

We're seeing the elders judged. We're seeing the leaders judged.

And I'm not talking about the wrath of God. There's

no condemnation in Christ. I'm talking about his correction, his

loving compassion and correction. He's correcting his leaders. But it

starts first.

There. Understand something.

When you see a nation begin to come under attack

and lose what some would call divine protection, this is

what happens. Here's God, here's his protection over our nation.

Proverb says righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a

reproach to any people. So as a nation collectively chooses lawlessness,

they begin to pull out from underneath his protection because

sin separates, and to the degree of separation allows.

The enemy to legally come in.

Because Proverbs also says that a curse cannot fall without

or take flight without a right. And so as a nation,

we start pulling away from the Lord. We tell him

to leave us alone, We kick him out of our schools.

We do all these things under the watch.

Of the church.

Because we were too comfortable to get get too involved

into the mountains of influence to actually bring transformation. And

now we're walking through the consequences as a nation and

the consequences of the big Sea Church being asleep. Are

y'all you with me? I don't want to lose you

Stay with me, but I'm going Can moves of God

happen without persecution? Yes, but I don't know how many

times I've seen it, especially sustained move. I think the

Lord in this hour is challenging many believers if they're

going to give up their American dream for His dream

so they can actually see the harvest. Do was again

a man who gains the whole world and loses his

own soul. Or what shall a man give an exchange

for his soul? Hebrews twelve twenty nine says, for our

God as a consuming fire.

He's a jealous god.

So when you stepped into the kingdom, there was a

holy jealousy over your life that he refuses to back

off of. And anything or anyone that becomes a threat

to that he puts his righteous arms around.

Them out of his love and jealousy.

And then we sometimes don't have the discernment to know

the difference, and all of a sudden, we lose relationships,

people are taken out of our lives, and we are

earthly focused and we miss the bigger picture.

Jesus said, do you love me more than these?

What is it that God has taken his big creator,

pointer finger and pointing on in your life this morning?

What's he asking you for? Ane for a divine exchange

over The worst thing in the world for anybody in

this room would be to stand before the Lord Jesus

at the end of your life and he says, hey,

I just want you to know you're here by my blood.

You made it, but let me show you everything you

didn't get because you wouldn't surrender, And then he plays

it before you of what he longed to do through

your life, what you could have seen him do.

But then it's too late, because you have one life

to live in. Your life's a vapor.

See, the enemy wants you demoralized, scared to death, and

full of hatred right now in this moment. He wants

you to respond with evil with evil, but he wants

to deceive you in thinking that it's righteous.

Matthew three eleven.

John the Baptist says, I baptize you with water for repentance.

But he who is coming after me is mightier than I,

whose sandals I'm not worthy to carry. He will baptize

you with the Holy Spirit and fire. Actodus three two.

And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in

a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush.

He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it

was knocking over and over and over. We see God

showing up with fire, fire falling from heaven, consuming sacrifices,

cloven tongues of fire, a pillar of fire leading Israel out.

You know, the hotter a flame burns, it actually begins

to disappear. It goes from orange to blue to well, literally,

you won't even see it when it gets that hot.

What are you holding on to this morning that you

won't let God burn up? What are you petting this morning?

What have you named? What are you pacifiring this morning?

Because you think it's a better option than surrender, totally

violating the kingdom principle that if you don't lose your life,

you don't find it. So to the agree you surrender,

you actually find life. Yeah, we can play church, y'all.

You can come in here and sing a bunch of

amazing songs and have your soul feel good, and then

the moment you leave here, you're left with your heart untouched, unchanged, untransformed.

The weapon of intimacy is so important right now. You

gotta fight for your intimacy with the Lord, and the

crazier things get, you're gonna have to fight even harder

to protect your relationship with Jesus. You gotta You're gonna

have a million things pulling at you. You're gonna have

people falling away. You've got people falling away like crazy.

Right now.

Deconstructing I love what Bill Johnson said. You can only

deconstruct what you built. You can't deconstruct God's kingdom. You

can't deconstruct truth. You may not like it, and you

may you may heap on doctrines of demons. By seducing

spirits so that you feel better, so that you feel

that you actually deceive yourself and believing that you're spiritual

without true transformation, which is one of the key things

of a religious spirit, will absolutely make you feel spiritual,

holier than everybody else, and yet full of pride and

judgment and condemnation and bitterness. Mark nine forty nine says,

for everyone will be salted with fire. Psalms twenty nine

seven says the voice of the Lord flashes forth flames

of fire.

Psalms one O.

Four four says he makes his messengers wins his ministers

a flame of fire.

And Deuteronomy four twenty.

Four for the Lord, your God is a consuming fire,

a jealous god. Y'all we ought to be so on fire.

When people touch us, they get burned. Hey, he's looking

for a bride that's pure and spotless, without compromise. He's

looking for a bride with oil in their lamp. What

does it take to offend you and turn you away?

Right?

Now, and I'm seriously asking this question, what will it

take to offend you and turn you away from God?

Because I promise you, if that is in your heart,

if there is something that can offend you and turn

you away from the Lord the days we're.

In, it will happen. So will you live unoffendable?

Because the falling away is a real thing, y'all Scripture

talks about there will be a falling away?

So what will it take in this moment for you

to fall away?

And you need to ask that question, honestly, you need

to say, Jesus right now, in this moment, what's in

my heart that could cause me to fall away? Because

the ting of your faith, it will be tested, guaranteed,

and it will be tested even greater our faith.

Will in the days ahead.

Years ago, the Lord, I was at my dining room table,

probably ten years ago, somewhere around there, and the Lord

began to show me and let me feel the weight

of future words that I would have to give, and

felt the weight of it, and I remember buckling over

at the dining room table by myself, crying. Solomon said,

with much knowledge comes much grief two Samuel twenty two

eight to thirteen. Then the earth reeled and rocked, the

foundations of the heavens trembled and quaked. Because he was angry,

Smoke went up from his nostrils, and devouring fire from

his mouth. Glowing coals flamed forth from him. He bowed

the heavens and came down. The thick darkness was under

his feet. He rode on a cherub and flew. He

was seen on the wings of the wind. He made

darkness around him his canopy. Thick clouds are gathering of

water out of the brightness before him. Coals of fire

flamed forth. Can I tell you that anyone that claims

to have gone to heaven and had a throne room encounter,

and they tell you they did anything but.

Fall flat on their face, they are a liar. Period.

You don't stand before this God, this creator.

With this holiness and this race and go in there

and high five them like he's grandpa.

The fear of the Lord is coming and it's moving.

You cannot sustain intimacy with the Lord without it. You

cannot see him move through your life in a mighty way.

Without holiness.

Turbulent times, I sit there and think of what we're

going through the shakings that have happened that seem to

be increasing.

And I think of what my own boys.

Have gone through in the last five years, and I

think about their future and what they might have to face. Y'all,

we cannot afford to have a mindset like Hezekiah. Well,

at least there's peace in my day. No, that is

not a kingdom mindset. Our mindset needs to be us

leaving a legacy and this generation, as we move into

a sage stage of our life, we need to be

very focused on raising up that next generation for people.

To know the Lord.

The only way we're going to see something sustained is

if we steward it with righteousness and holiness, and that

this upcoming generation sees it. You understand that, Charlie Kirk,

more than anything. If you think this.

Was just political, you've already lost.

This is about good and evil, and this is about

a man who the Lord was using to wake up

the next generation all across this nation and through the

universities and beyond. He was a threat to the evil one,

a major threat. But I promise you once again, God

will have the last word. So now you have thirty

two thousand applications to have turning point offices or however

they call them chapters. All the enemy did was poke

at a bride that's not that asleep. Now, Watchmen on

the Wall, let me tell you months ago when we

started the watch at six pm on Sundays, it was

from a burden that we needed to be watchmen on

the wall in this time and things that all of

these shakings that are taking place, it's only proving that

we need to watch and pray. Jesus said, watch and pray,

Watch and pray. And what I say to you, I

say to everyone, watch and pray. Luke twelve forty nine

to fifty says, I came to cast fire on the

earth and would that it were already kindled. I have

a baptism to be baptized with, and how great is

my distress until it's accomplished.

Y'all? Do you understand this? God wants you so happy?

And then if there's any discomfort that it's not his

will show me that in the scripture, please, because I

mean I would love for that to be true.

He says.

If you want to follow me, deny yourself, take up

your cross daily, and let's go a daily dying to

your flesh. Do you understand God will absolutely call you

to do things you don't want to do. That's called

baring your cross. He's not nearly as concerned about your comfort.

As your transformation. Sorry not sorry.

In fact, some of you are headed down a path

of comfort and personal dream that the Lord has nothing

to do with because you've been sold the American Gospel.

You're welcome one Kings eighteen thirty eight.

Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the

burnt offering and the wood and the stones and the dust,

and lit up the water that was in the trench.

Y'all.

There was nothing left. When the fire of God came.

They drenched that was This was the literally right before

he ran from Jezebel. This was the big showdown, y'all.

I've said this and I'll say it again. We are

heading in two days where you say, you go ahead

and call on your God and I'll call on mine.

And the one that answers by fire, he's the Lord.

And you better understand that there are those showdowns coming.

The Enemy's not hiding. While we were busy.

Trying to perfect Sunday morning services, our children were being

discipled by the evil one. I thank God for a

town that has schools that let people pray in the

name of Jesus.

I would pray in his name anyways because I don't care.

But it's but it's.

Encouraged in our schools, y'all. Kim and Kylie and who's

the third and Chay. Yeah, the very first week they

for the Bible study, they had.

Almost fifty kids. This is the next generation.

How do we want to leave our How do we

want to leave this nation to the next generation. Our

fighting's not done, y'all. We're just getting started. We cannot

leave this mess to our kids.

Period.

We cannot leave this mess to our kids. See a

lot of people thought when the Orange Man got into

office again that somehow our fighting was done, and it's not.

We don't wrestle against flesh and blood. Okay, I'm gonna

start descending. You can take your oxygen mask off here

in a minute. Leviticus nine twenty three to twenty four,

And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting,

and when they came out, they blessed the people, and

the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people,

and fire came out from before the Lord and consumed

the burnt offering and the pieces of the fat on

the altar, and when all the people saw it, they

shouted and fell on their faces. Do you think for

a moment that encounters like that don't mark you for life?

I shared this last year. I think it was when

it happened. My wife and I were just simply sitting

in the backyard talking about the glory of God and

talking and dreaming together of what it's going to be

like as the Lord begins.

To increase his intentional.

Presence, and literally we look over and there is a

glory cloud over our garage in the natural race light,

and it literally grew and grew and grew in front

of our eyes, and then poof disappeared. I don't need

to write that down. That's a spiritual tattoo like that

that we were just and then we just sat there. Now,

I wish things like that happened, like when you asked

him to all the time. Last time I checked. We

don't get to vote on that, right, You don't get to.

Vote on your encounters with the Lord.

But what you do get to do is when you

are humble, hungry and teachable, position yourself in a place

for him to encounter you. However, he sees fit, so

he let him with a cloud that covered by day,

in the appearance of fire by night. And in Deuteronomy,

the Lord spoke with you face to face at the

mountain out of the midst of the fire. Now watch this,

We're gonna dive really deep for a couple of minutes.

So hang in there and Acts two two to four.

And suddenly there came from having a sound like a

mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where

they were sitting, and divided tongues as of fire appeared

to them and rested on each of them, and they

were all filled with the Holy Spirit and begin to

speak in other tongues of the Spirit gave them utterance.

If all you do is read this scripture and focus

on the baptism and tongues, you're missing a whole lot

that is actually in this chapter, and specifically in these

couple of verses. The word for divided tongues, the word

the Greek word, means to divide, to distribute, to a portion,

to partition, thoroughly, distribution, or dissension. Interestingly enough, it's the

same word that is found in Deuteronomy thirty two seven

to nine. Remember remember the days of old, consider the

years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will

show you your elders, and they will tell you. When

the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance. When

he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples

according to the number of the sons of God. This

is benigh aloheen. He's speaking of angels, not man. And

he divided the nations unto these sons of God. And

when did this happen. This took place in Genesis eleven.

And the Lord said, behold, they are one people, and

they all, and they have all one language. And this

is only the beginning of what they will do. And

nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible

for them. Y'all, this was the power of the soul.

All of their wills united together other for one purpose,

and that was in the soul. Come, let us go

down and there confuse their language so that they may

not understand one another's speech. By the way, the new

earpod threes that are coming out this week, they have

language translation in them like any language.

And if you.

Have EarPods in the three air pod pros whatever. If

I have them in and you have them in, it

doesn't matter what languages we speak.

As we begin to talk.

To each other, it's automatically interpreted and you hear exactly

what they're saying in your own language.

Yeah.

Remember, and Daniels said, knowledge will increase, man will run

to and fro.

So he goes, let us go down.

And there confuse their language so that they may not

understand one another's speech. So the Lord dispersed them from

there over the face of all the earth, and they

left off building the city. Therefore its name is called Babel,

because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth,

and from there the Lord dispersed them over the face

of the earth. This is exactly what Deuteronomy thirty two,

seven and nine is talking about when it says, when

the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when

he divided mankind, he divided mankind. In Genesis eleven, y'all

with me.

And then all of a sudden.

In Genesis eleven, the Lord calls Abram to start the

process of recovering the scattered nations. Genesis fifteen, the Lord

tells Abram to look up in the night sky and

try to number the stars.

Genesis seventeen.

The Lord promises to make Abraham the father of many nations.

Many nations will come from you. So Tower of Babbel, division, divided, nations, scattered,

put under the Divine Council Psawm.

Eighty two.

They begin to rule unrighteously, and God brings them into

a council for judgment because they're no longer leading the

nations towards righteousness, but nudging them towards lawlessness. See, if

you don't understand the big picture of spiritual warfare, you

really don't understand the fullness of the role of the

Holy Spirit either.

So what happens.

You go back to Acts two, and suddenly there came

from heaven a sound like a min and rushing wind

fills the house. Divided tongues as of fire appeared on them,

rested on each of them, and they were filled with

the Holy Spirit and begin to speak.

And other tongues.

The gift of interpretation, the gift of tongues and the

interpretation every language present heard them in their own language.

It's part of the recovery of the nations. It's a

part of Abraham's promise that he would be the father

of many nations. And guess what on that day when

Peter stood up and three thousand souls were saved, they

dispersed back to their lands, and all of a sudden,

now the Gospel of the Kingdom is being preached in

multiple languages, and one New Man.

Is beginning to be formed.

And I might even add that the ten nations that

were scattered are being brought back through gentile blood, part

of the mystery of the One New Man.

So as we're in this moment.

Seeing all of these crazy things happen, you know, in

the Old Covenant, there's a scripture that says, you are

killing people that should not be killed, and you are

keeping alive people that should not be kept alive. And

he's talking about the government, the authority of the nation,

not just anybody doing whatever they want. It's Romans thirteen, right,

that is a sovereign authorities were put into place by

the Lord himself. Yeah, Jesus is not nearly as easy

to get along with as we try to paint him.

I've said this a couple of times in the last

few months, but I love what Bobby Connor said that

We're way too familiar with the God we barely know.

And I don't know about you. But the closer I

get to him, the.

Less I know about him, because I recognize how much

bigger he is than my Then remember that dot that

Sean put on this timeline. If that's the dot and

the timeline of eternity, where's your tiny little hind in

and that thing? I want to do something that's probably

gonna make everybody very uncomfortable, including me.

But mister Micah, where we come. Get on the keys.

We got a few minutes left, and I just want

us to sit still and wait on the Lord. And

I'm gonna do some identificational prayer of repentance, and we're

just gonna ask the Lord in his mercy to move

over us. We cannot twist God's arm, we cannot make

him move, but we can posture ourselves in a place

of humility and repentance that positions our hearts open to

what He wants to do. And I believe with all

of my heart the heavens, even the heavens, are the lords.

But He's given the earth to the sons of men.

We have a responsibility over this earth. We have a

responsibility right now, in this hour, in this season, to

be the light and assault. We have a responsibility to

make disciples of all nations, regardless of your in time's perspective,

Son of Day.

Even have mercy. Father.

We stand in the gap right now, in the midst

of the ashes, sorrow, loss, trauma, grief.

Lord, we mourn with a family who's lost a husband

way too soon. Father, Our nation is to.

And the evil one would love nothing more than to

make it worse. Lord, Father, have mercy over us. Lord,

awaken your sleeping beauty to the roar of your son,

that the fear of the Lord would shaken us awake

from slumber, that the lion of the tribe of Judah

would roar. God, you are a consuming fire, and you've

baptized us with your spirit and fire. Would you cause

your spirit, your fire inside of us, Lord, to consume.

Everything not of you.

Would you forgive us for what we've made the gospel

so many times?

Lord?

Would you forgive us for so many times preaching a

narcissistic gospel making it all about us? Lord, Father, we

stand in the gap and ask that you would give

us righteous leader's Lord, we pray for those in authority

over us, that they would rule with righteousness and justice. Lord,

that you would pull down the fallen council members over

our nation and put in righteous principalities Jesus, that you

would put a fire inside of us for intimacy that

could never be quenched no matter what. That you would

remove the question marks out of our heart. Lord, that

we would trust you.

With the tension of mystery.

That you would awaken the Church, that you would revive

the nation, Lord, Father, that.

You would pour out over this next.

Generation through the School's Lord, that the Gospel, which is

the power under salvation, would be preached by this next

generation with love, boldness, power, signs and wonders, that Heaven

would respond to truth, that the signs and wonders would

follow after us. Lord, that they would run us down

because we're running after you.

Lord.

That we wouldn't just rend our garments, that we wouldn't

us look spiritual to others, but that you.

Would break our heart for what breaks yours. God.

Don't leave us this way, Lord, don't leave this nation

this way.

Don't leave this reason this way.

Lord.

Lord, We need.

You, We need a fresh baptism of your spirit and

fire like never before.

Lord. So here we are. We're contending for you to

do what only you can do. We're asking you.
