Who Do You Say I Am!

Morning where we have gotten to encounter the presence of God.

How many of y'all felt like you had an encounter

with the Lord this morning. I'd love to see that.

That's awesome. You know. Those are the those are the

times that really when we are having hard days, we

can actually look back. These are the memorials that we

have with the Lord that we can go back and go. Oh, no,

I know Jesus is real. I had an encounter with him. Okay,

I'm gonna open up in prayer. We will not be

distracted this morning with all the things. Okay, I'm talking

to myself. Okay, Lord Jesus, thank you so much for

another opportunity to get to talk about my favorite subject.

You and Lord, I am nothing without you. I surrender myself,

my voice, my brain, my heart fully to you, to

your will, to your plan today. And Lord, I thank

you that you work through this week and often insufficient vessel.

Thank you Lord that it's you, and I just asked

that you would help me to minister whatever it is

that you want to say in Holy Spirit, that you

would sink these seeds deep into the soil of people's hearts,

cause it to grow in Jesus name. Amen. Okay, So,

by the way, I'm Kim. If you don't know me,

I'm the youth pastor here. Hey, there's a lot of y'all.

I don't know. When I started going to church here,

there were a lot less people. So if I haven't

met you yet, come up and say hi, let me

know your name. I would love that, and I will

try to do the same. I'm kind of like shy

with meeting new people. That's weird, but I love talking. Like,

give me a crowd of five thousand, I will love that.

But one on one that's terrifying anybody else like that?

Just being vulnerable here? Okay, okay, thanks one person, Sarah.

I appreciate it. So the Lord this week, as I

was preparing to speak today and going what am I

gonna say? It's funny when you're asked to speak, it's

like suddenly blank, there's just nothing there. And then the

times where I'm not for like a while, I feel

like I have all these things to say. But anyhow,

the Lord just kept bringing this phrase to my mind,

who do you say I am? Who do you say

I am? Kim? Who do you say I am? And

then I got into the Word, and I found where

that's mentioned. So we're going to be in scripture a

lot this morning, and we're going to start in Matthew

sixteen thirteen through seventeen. When Jesus came to the region

of Cesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, who do people

say that the son of Man is well? They replied,

some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others

say Jeremiah are one of the other prophets. Then he

asked them, but who do you say I am Simon.

Peter answered, you are the Messiah, the son of the

Living God. Jesus replied, you are blessed Simon's, son of John,

because my Father in Heaven has revealed this to you.

You did not learn this from any human being. So

that's the question I have for you this morning, And

I believe the Lord is asking us this question. Who

do you say Jesus is? Who do you say Jesus is?

And the thing is, this is actually the most important

question that you will ever be asked, And the answer

to this question is the most important answer that you

will ever have, because at the end of it all,

when everything else in your life is stripped away. There's

lots of things that confuse us. There's lots that are

going on about Jesus and details and denominations and opinions

and philosophies. But when it all comes down to it

and it's just you and him, who to you say

he is? That is the question. I would like to

show you three stories of three different wealthy men who

had a lot. But the question is who did Jesus say?

Who did they say Jesus is. We're going to start

with the story. It's titled the Rich Ruler. Some of

it sometimes it says a rich young ruler, but actually,

in further discovery, this was a wealthy religious leader. Okay,

so this is Luke eighteen. We're gonna do this account,

the one in Luke eighteen eighteen through twenty three. And

if you don't want to fall on you, just listen.

Once a religious leader asked Jesus this question. Now, I

want you to listen for the who answer, because he's

gonna say it. He asked Jesus this question, good teacher, hint,

what should I do to inherit eternal life? Why do

you call me good? Jesus asked him. Only God is good?

But to answer your question, you know the commandments. You

must not commit adultery, you must not murder, you must

not steal, you must not testify falsely, honor your father

and mother. The man replied, I believe, with a great

sigh of relief. I've obeyed all these commandments since I

was young. When Jesus heard his answer, he said, there's

still one thing you haven't done. Sell all your possessions

and give the money to the poor, and you will

have treasure in heaven. Then come follow me. But when

the man heard this, he became very sad, for he

was very rich. Other versions say he walked away very sad.

So here's what we know. This man called Jesus good teacher.

We know that this man was a leader over other

religious people. He was a religious leader. We know that

this man was wealthy. We know that he had many possessions,

and we know that he clung tightly to them. Because

of the way that he answered the question, leave sell

everything and follow me, he didn't. He didn't do it.

Jesus knew under the exterior of this man, this religious leader,

under the exterior that looked very shiny, underneath, in his

heart he did not believe that Jesus's lord, and he

did not want to be surrendered to the lordship of Jesus. Okay.

The next story is another rich man in Matthew six

nineteen through twenty one. Oh, sorry, wrong thing. It's sorry,

it's a Luke twelve, and we're going to start. In

verse sixteen, Jesus gave an illustration. A rich man had

a fertile farm that produced fine crops. In fact, his

barns were full to overflowing. So he said, I know,

I'll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then

I'll have room enough to store everything. And I'll sit

back and say to myself, my friend, you have enough

stored away for years to come. Now take it easy, eat, drink,

and be merry. But God said to them, to him,

you fool, you will die this very night. Then who

will get it all? Yes, a person is a fool

to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich

relationship with God. So this person. While the first rich

man that was a religious leader, he was pursuing eternal life,

he refused to render. This person ignores eternity completely okay,

and is focused only on the here and now now

the last one we're gonna look at is zi Chius.

And I said in the first service, I wish Justin

was here for this. And if you know the story,

you'll laugh right now and you'll see soon if you don't. Okay,

So this is Luton nineteen one through ten. Jesus entered

Jericho and made his way through the town. There was

a rich man there name is Achius. He was the

chief tax collector in the region and he had become

very rich. Here's what you need to know. Chief tax

collector of the region means that there were all the

tax collectors of the region. They answered to him. Okay.

He tried to get a good look at Jesus, but

he was too short to see over the crowd. Justin

joke inserted there. So he ran ahead and climbed a

sycamore tree beside the road for Jesus was going to

pass that way. When Jesus came by, he looked at

z Achius and called him by names the Achius. He said, quick,

come down, I must be a guest in your home today.

Zakias quickly climbed down and took Jesus to his home

in great excitement and joy, but The people were displeased.

He's gone to be the guest of a notorious sinner.

They grumbled. We know who those people are, don't we?

The religious people? Anyways. Meanwhile, Zakiah stood before the Lord

and said, I will give half my wealth to the

poor Lord, and if I have cheated people on their taxes,

I will give them back four times as much. Let

me back up. I will give half my wealth to

the poor Lord, and if I have cheated people on

their taxes, I will give them back four times as much.

He caused Jesus' lord, and he promises to pay back

not just what he stole, but four times as much.

Jesus' response, Salvation has come to this home today, for

this man has shown himself to be a true son

of Abraham. For the son of Man came to seek

and save those who were lost. This man was a sinner,

notorious sinner. He didn't keep all the commandments, he didn't

pretend to, He didn't even get Jesus didn't even tell

him to repent. What did Jesus do? Jesus said, Sidius,

my friend, come on, we're going to go eat at

your house today. It is the kindness of God that

draws men to repentance. And in that kindness and that grace,

Zichius felt in his heart that sorrow that needed something

needed to be reconciled in his heart, and instantly he

turned and repented. We'll get back to that one second.

So the first one refused surrender, the second man ignored eternity,

and the last one repented and found salvation when he

decided to give it all away. Which one are you?

Which one are you? You don't have to answer outloud,

who do you say? Jesus is so I want to

talk to you about godly sorrow. In this there's two

different kind of sorrow. There's godly sorrow and worldly sorrow.

In Second Corinthians seven nine through ten, it says Paul's

writing to the Church of corinth and he had some

difficult things to write in First Corinthians, and so he's

telling them this in Second Corinthians. Now, I am glad

I sent it the letter not because it hurt you,

but because the pain caused you to repent and change

your ways. It was a kind of sorrow God wants

his people to have. So you are not harmed by

us in any way. For the kind of sorrow God

wants us to experience, leads us away from sin, and

results in salvation. There's no regret for that kind of sorrow,

but worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.

So the First leader he went away with worldly sorrow.

He knew there was something he was supposed to be doing,

but because of what had his heart, he said, no,

hang on, I'm looking for a scripture. I want to

say it right, Matthew six nineteen through twenty one. Don't

store it for yourselves. Treasures here on earth, where moths

eat them and rest destroys them, where thieves break in

and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moth and

rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.

Wherever your treasure is there, the desires of your heart

will also be. The desires of the First man's heart

were in his possessions. Therefore, when he had the call

of the Lord, when he heard the call of Jesus,

he went away sad. His treasure was in his possessions,

probably because Jesus says, and leave everything. His treasure was

also in his title. He did not want to give

it up, and so he walked away with worldly sorrow,

which lacks repentance and leads to spiritual death. The Last

Man's the Keys. He felt that sorrow. I believe just

like we all do. When we hear the call of

God to do something or not do something, and we

instantly we feel that in our hearts and we repent

and turn that fast. That leads to salvation and life

and peace. Now, when you are dealing with worldly sorrow,

you're gonna feel things like just a constant gnawing, nagging,

guilt and unsettling feeling, possibly also indifference, no feeling at all.

But when you turn quickly and repent, there is life

and salvation. So who do you say Jesus is? And

how you answer that question will help answer the next one.

What are you going to do about it? What are

we going to do about it? When we find out

and decide? Truly, Jesus, you are Lord. When he says

I want to come to your house today and have

a party, are we excited? Are we full of joy?

Or do we think this is going to cost me

too much to have this party? I gotta go Luke

fourteen twenty five through thirty five. I want to tell

you about three calls. The first one is the call

to count the cost. A large crowd was following Jesus,

and he turned around to them and said, if you

want to be my disciple, you must, by comparison, hate

everything else. Now this is hard. Some of us cannot

handle this. Your father and your mother, wife and children, brothers, sisters, yes,

even your own life. Otherwise you cannot be my disciple.

And if you do not carry your own cross and

follow me, you cannot be my disciple. But don't begin

until you count the cost. For who would begin construction

of a building without first calculating the cost to see

if there's enough money to finish it. In the same way,

those of you who do not give up everything you

own cannot be my disciples. Now we can't know everything

that following Jesus may require, but we can be willing

to forsake everything in order to follow him, even without

knowing fully what that is. We can be willing to

surrender like Zachieths. He was quick to do it. And

here's the thing. When we make that commitment, and that's

a that sounds scary, a call, a call to count

the cost and to take an accounting of what that

could cost you. Before you say yes to Jesus, before

you decide what you're going to call him, before you

decide who he is for you, you need to understand

that when you make that decision, like I've even prayed this, Lord,

I want to want to I want to want to

follow you. He can work with that. I'm living proof.

But here's the thing. Whenever you say yes to following

Jesus and saying Lord, like we did earlier, this whole

morning's about been about surrender, like God is trying to

get our attention, like wake up, let's wake up. We

aren't doing it alone when we step forward and say yes, Lord,

when we step over that threshold like Anthony was talking about,

we're not doing that without him. Empowered by the Holy

Spirit to do the good things that he called us

to do long ago. We are not alone. Not only that,

spiritually are we not alone, but we have a body

of Christ that walks with us if we will open

up our lives. Now, that's another thing that a lot

of us have a hard time surrendering to is I

don't really need anybody some of us. The surrender that

needs to take place is surrendering your heart once again,

to take a risk in letting people love you. It's

not all just money and possessions and things. It's our attitudes,

it's our heart posture, it's our relationships. We talked about

it this morning, being offended. Some of us have locked

the doors of our hearts, and God is saying, give

me the key, surrender it. Follow me. The next call,

after the call to count the causes, the call to die,

John twelve twenty three through through twenty six, says this.

Jesus replied, now the time has come for the sun

of man to enter into his glory. I tell you

the truth. Unless the kernel of wheat is planted in

the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death

will produce many new kernels, a plentiful harvest of new lives.

Those who love their lives in this world will lose it.

Those who care nothing for their life in this world

will keep it for eternity. Anyone who wants to serve

me must follow me, because my servants must be where

I am, and the Father will honor anyone who serves me.

Think of those the first and the last rulers we

just talked about. Both of them were leaders in their community.

What would have been different if that rich young ruler,

that religious leader would have surrendered his life to the Lord?

How many people fruit? How much fruit would that have produced?

How many lives would that have touched? And then you

think of Zechias, the notorious Center, the tax collector, the

chief tax collector. How many lives did that affect because

he said I'm gonna die to myself, I'm gonna give

it all away, I'm gonna pay back and I'm gonna

follow Jesus. How many lives did that touch? How many

lives is it touching today because of way back then?

Do y'all know how multiplication works? I know that you

do because I think most of us got past like

second grade, third grade? So yeah, what impact in order

for that? I'm gonna say, I've been talking to my

youth group kids about this. Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk, he

died murdered. I believe martyred. Okay, Colonel of Wheat went

into the ground. I'm not saying he's Jesus, but hear me. Now,

this is for all of us. He did something that

was risky, He did something that was dangerous. He surrendered

parts of his life in order to do the call

that God had placed on his life, and in doing so,

just like with Jesus's life, after the death, for Jesus's life,

did we stop talking and hearing about Jesus and the

works he did? No? For Charlie's life, did we stop

hearing about all the things and the truth and the gospel?

And No, Just the same with our lives. It only

gets louder because of multiplication. And so for your life,

as you surrender and give up and decide to follow Jesus,

whatever that means for you, when you decide what you're

gonna call him who he is to you, that can

go and produce much fruit when you surrender. What impact

could your life surrendered have on generations after you. You may think, well,

I'm I'm just one person. If you discipled one person,

I'm not gonna know the exact numbers, one person each year,

and that person disciples one person each year, and that

person disciples one person each year, and on and on.

You're talking of millions, millions touched for the gospel of

Jesus Christ. What impact could your life and your voice

saying Jesus is my Lord have on generations. Okay, The

third call is a call to new life Tewod Corinthians

five fifteen through twenty one. Jesus for everyone, so that

those who receive His new life will no longer live

for themselves. Instead they will live for Christ, who died

and was raised for them. So we have stopped evaluating

others from a human point of view. At one time

we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view.

How differently we know him now. This means that anyone

who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The

old life has gone, the new life has begun. And

all this is a gift from God who brought us

back to himself through Christ. And God has given us

y'all this task of reconciling people to him, For God

was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, no longer

counting people sins against them, and he gave us this

wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are now Christ's ambassadors.

God is making his appeal through us. We speak for

Christ when we plead come back to God. For God

made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for

our sin so that we could be made right. With

God through Christ. We are called to a new life,

and in that new life, we are called to actually

give it up, give it away, become ambassadors that now

reconcile people to Christ, to God through Christ Jesus. I'm

not just talking about people that are called to be

evangelists here. I'm talking about y'all in your workplaces. I'm

talking about y'all stay at home moms. I'm talking to everybody.

We are called to the ambassadors saying come back to

God to people. We do that through the actions of

our life. We do that when we answer the question

who do you say that Jesus is and living that

out in authenticity. The last call is a wake up call,

and that's in Rome. Sorry, Revelation three one through six.

Write this letter to the Angel of the Church and Sartis.

This is a message from the one who has set

the sevenfold Spirit of God in the seven stars. I

know all the things you do and that you have

a reputation for being alive, but you are dead. Wake up,

strengthen what little remains, for even what is left is

almost dead. I find that your actions do not meet

the requirements of My God. Go back to what you

heard and believed at first. Hold to it, firmly, repent,

and turn to me again. If you don't wake up,

I will come to you suddenly, as unexpected as a thief.

You have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead.

That sounds a lot like that religious leader the first

example Jesus said of the Pharisees, you are like whitewashed

tombs with dead man and bones inside. Let that not

be said of us. Who do we say he is?

And what are we going to do about it? Wake up,

strengthen what little remains, for even what is left is

almost dead. Go back to what you heard and believed

at first, Hold to it, firmly, repent, and turn to

me again. Wake up? He saying, who do you love

more than Jesus? What do you love more than Jesus?

Think about it. Let's be honest. I love my comfort.

I love my house a lot. It'd be really hard

for me to give that up for Jesus. Although I

have given houses up for Jesus, this one would be hard.

I love my kids. I would probably always want to

live where they live. But if Jesus told me not to,

would I do that? What do you love more than him?

What are you holding on to? So John Piper said this,

and man, it cut me to my core. I'm gonna

read it to you. Off, I can find where I

put it. Hang on, mm hmmm, I think it's on here.

One second, Hang with me. Where did I put it? Okay,

who do you say he is? I don't know where

I put it. Guys, hang on, I've got to find this.

This is very one second. M it's a quote. So

John Piper said this. The critical question for our generation

and for every generation is this. I don't want you

to think about this. If you could have heaven with

no sickness, and with all the friends you ever had

on earth, think about all those people and all the

food you ever liked. Paul, he likes food. I do too,

and all the leisure activities you ever enjoyed, and all

the natural beauties you ever saw. If you could have

heaven and all the things, all the physical pleasures you

ever tasted, and no human conflict or any natural disasters,

could you be satisfied with heaven if Jesus were not there?

Who That gets me because some of us, maybe a

lot of us, would say yes. We don't want to

say yes, we don't want to say yus. We want

to be not just alive on the outside, we want

to be alive on the inside. And we do want

to say that he's our lord. But the honest truth

is if we had everything we wanted in heaven and

it was perfect and there were no disasters, and we

had the food we liked and the people we love,

but Jesus wasn't there, would you be okay with that?

That tells us right there. The way we answer that

question is the way we answered the other one. Who

do you say he is? There is a call and

invitation for us today, in this season, in this time.

If you don't feel it, let today be the first

day you hear about it. There is a calm invitation

for us to wake up, for us to realize that

our lives are not about us. They are about making

the name of Jesus known, reconciling people back to the Father.

They are about people knowing him. It's about making heaven crowded.

It's about preparing for his return. It's about Oh, it's

not about us, y'all. We are the vessels that he

will use, and he loves us, oh my goodness, and

we get to enjoy so many things, but does it

have your heart? It's not bad to enjoy the things,

but does it have your heart? Do you love it

more than him? Do you love it more than him?

And if you do, there is not condemnation for that.

There is an invitation. Repentance is a gift. It's a

gift we get to repent. Jesus paid for our sins, past, present, future.

He took them all, like Paul was talking about, he

took the full wrath, the full punishment on his body.

The issue between us and God is not so much sin,

it's surrender. Do you need to surrender to him? Do

you need to surrender something to him that you've never

surrendered before, something you've never been able to let go of?

Today's day? This is a season. Now is the time

some of y'all have an opportunity, right now to say

yes to Jesus for the first time and to say

I know who I'm gonna say that you are. You

are my Lord. This is not about a feeling. This

is not about goosebumps, those are great. This is about

a decision. This is about trust. You're not gonna feel

like obeying. I guarantee You're not gonna feel like obeying

because we have an enemy of our souls that at

every single moment, what he wants is the opposite of

what God wants for us. And he's gonna make it

so easy for us to stay comfortable. He's gonna make

it so easy for us to say no to God.

For some of you, it is your money, it is

your possessions. Some of you love that more than you

love Jesus. But he is far greater than any amount

of money could ever purchase. He is priceless, He is anointed.

He is the Lamb of God, the Lamb who was

slain before the beginning of the world, and he wants

wants you can I have some keys up here. I

don't know who's left to do it. Micah, You're awesome.

Micah does so much. Thank you, Micah. You know a

lot of times we hear this story that God the

Father had to be. It says it's in Isaiah. It

says that he cannot come near. Sin says that in

one place, I see a much different God than what

Isaiah says. There I can understand what he means, and

I hope y'all will call me blasphemous. Don't know, we

can talk about later justin sorry if but I see

a God who pursues his children, starting literally on the

day when they fell. He came after them in the

garden of Eden. Where are you? Where are you? Then

Cain killed his brother Abel. God came to him and said,

what have you done? That's after the fall, that that happened.

And God continued to speak to men and pursue and

hold back his judgment and to show mercy time after y'all,

people kept on with a cycle of screwing it up

over and over, and God continued to extend mercy. All

the while there was a plan for his son a

seed to be planted in the line of Jesse, that's

David's line, the kingly line, the tribe of Judah. All

the while God was at work, and he spoke through prophets,

and he prophesied that the Messiah would come. For so long,

I thought the story was that there is an anim,

angry God, and it's like this. This is what I

thought the story was. There's a judge, He's a really

mad judge, and I'm standing there and I committed the

worst sin imaginable. I get the death sentence. But instead

someone bursts in the back doors and says, and as Jesus,

I'll pay her fine, I'll take the death sentence. That's

what I thought it was. And then judge was like, okay, fine,

this is how I see it now. The Father is

the judge, and he gives me my sentence, rightfully so,

because all have sinned and fallen short of the glory

of God. He gives me my sentence. And then he says,

but just a second. He calls in his son, come here. Son.

He puts him in front of me, and he says,

I'll give his life in place of yours, with tears

in his eyes, and Jesus says, okay, I'll do it.

Your father wants you. He wants you to surrender, and

he wants to use your life to produce much fruit

in this world, to bring glory to his name, because

he knows that when we're doing that, we are living

our fullest, our most dangerous, adventurous life. He wants us

to live on the edge with him. Then we are

fully alive. We're not just alive on the outside, we're

alive on the inside because we're like if you're not

with me Jesus, I literally might die. We're in the

deep end and he's our lifeboat. Okay, We're hanging on

the edge of a tree to reach the fruit, and

he's the one that catches us. Like that's the kind

of life he wants us to live. So there's an

invitation for people to surrender number one to the lordship

of Jesus Christ for the first time, to say, yes,

I don't understand all of it, Kim, but I want

to say and believe that Jesus is my lord. The

other imitation is for those of us that are holding

on and we can't let go, to surrender it today

and to say I'm waking up God, I'm ready to

follow you Jesus wherever you say. Now, that's a big commitment,

but we won't regret it. So I want you to

feel in your heart if you feel that godly sorrow,

don't let it become worldly sorrow where you turn away

and you don't repent. Let's let this be godly sorrow

where it draws us to Him, draws us to life,

draws us to salvation. I want to invite people to

come forward. I'm going to invite you to die to

yourself right now, to literally die to your own feelings

right now. Of I don't want people to see me.

I don't want to go up there. I'm asking you

to come forward and together we're going to surrender. Who

will be brave and do that? We had some brave

people in First Service. I know the Lord will give

you courage, so I'm asking you to come and do it.

Thank you very much, and I know there's more than

one person. I'm asking you to be brave. Let's do it.

Let's not care about what people think. We actually probably

most of us need to be up here, So thank

you for being brave and bold. I need to be

up here too. I'm gonna be here with you. We're

surrendering for the greater call that God has on our lives.

Some of you need to surrender your hearts in the

area of relationships. This was in First Service. I think

this is still true now. Some of you are afraid

to love and you need to let go of that.

I want you to act, actually, maybe even see your

heart in your hands and let go of it and

give it to Jesus. What is it you need to surrender?

What do you love more than Him? Those that are

still back here. If y'all could just be praying, Lord,

we want to go deeper. We want to go further,

even though we're afraid. We know that, even though we're afraid,

we don't have to listen to that fear. We can

walk in boldness because your spirit lives in us and

we don't walk alone. So right now, Lord, we are

coming to this altar. We're coming forward to this place

as if it's an alter as if you're here, because

you are, but just right in front of us, and

we are handing you over. These things that keep us

from loving you, that keep us bound. They look like

they're life giving, but they're not. And we repent. I repent.

I repent for being afraid to go out like you've

called me too. I repent for being more comfortable sitting

at home. I repent for the times that you have

told me to talk to somebody or pray for someone

many times, and I have not done it because I'm

about my own business and not about yours. But I

want to be about my father's business. I want to

be about your business. I know I'm not the only one,

So Lord, we just we repent. We want to be alive.

On the inside, not just on the outside. We don't

want to just look like it. We want to actually

be able to say I know who Jesus is, and

he is Lord, he is my king, he is my savior,

and I will follow him wherever he goes. So, Lord,

as we've surrendered and repented, Lord, I just pray that

you would just infuse us your joy and your strength,

and that you would show us the next step that

we need to be taking. Maybe you show us now,

maybe you show us later, but Father, would you show us,

show us the call that you've given us, show us

what to do, show us where to go, and show

us in your word. It's not necessarily a certain direction,

but sometimes it's just doing what you say, like go

out and preach the good news to all people. Or

maybe it's just love others as yourself. What you just

show us, Father, we are trusting you in a deeper

way than we ever have before, and we surrender to

Jesus fully. We lay down our lives, we take up

our cross, and we follow you. We are declaring you

right now as Lord. And if this is your first

time doing that, that's amazing. You would just say all

the things I'm saying, I'm declaring you is Lord, Jesus.

I want you to be the king of my life.

I give you my heart. You can have it. And

I'm scared to say this, but you can have it all. Jesus.

I repent of my sins. I repent for the ways

I've ignored you, the ways I've been far from you.

And I turn now to you, and I run into

your loving arms, and I thank you that you strengthen

me to do good. Without you, I am nothing, but

with you I can do all things that you tell

me to do. Thank you, Jesus for being our savior.

Thank you for always pursuing us. You just run after us.

You love us. Thank you for your word. Today I

just speak peace over this congregation. I pray Lord that

they would go out and make disciples of all nations

baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and

the Holy Spirit. And I thank you Lord that we

are able to reconcile people back to their Father. Thank you, Father,

we love you, we praise you. I want to offer

to any of y'all there's prayer ministers, if you could

come forward to stand on the sides. Y'all can stay

up here you're good. You don't have to move people,

but priyer ministers are available if you would like to

have prayer personal prayer, and again you don't have to

go right away. Thank you Father for this awesome time.

Thank you for teaching us. Would you just remind us

during this week of things to come and help us

to hold each other even accountable if we're invited to

do so in Jesus' name? Amen, Amen, bless y'all have
