All right, Happy New Year, y'all. It's good to be back.
-
Are y'all happy? Who's Who's glad that twenty twenty five
-
is gone? We'll see this time next year? Just joking. Yeah,
-
Well we were. We got a little R and R
-
as a family. We were in Pagosa Springs for a
-
few days this past week and had a thirteen hour
-
trek back home Friday night, got in about ten thirty,
-
got to sleep in and recover a bit, and I
-
will be back on the road Tuesday for a twenty
-
one hour drive with my oldest son to take him
-
to a new university he's going to graduate from after
-
this semester. So what's that? Oh, Franciscan University. So, but
-
lots of travel here lately, and so let me start
-
out by we were watching a movie last night, House
-
said David. Anybody watched that House of David just finished?
-
I won't ruin anything but second season, last episode, Samuel's
-
on the Mountain with David? And you ever you ever
-
have the Lord speak to you through a movie? Yeah,
-
And I was trying to get Lisa wrote some notes down,
-
but didn't bring her notebook this morning, so but I
-
got one of the quotes Samuel's talking to David. This
-
is right on the cusp of him fixing to flee
-
from Saul and David's You know, of course with this series,
-
they it's entertainment, so they add a little bit. But
-
one of the things he said is that your uncommon
-
suffering is the cost of your uncommon life of significance.
-
That your uncommon suffering is the cost of your uncommon
-
life of significance. And when he said this, you know,
-
we we we tend to want to have little battles
-
but massive victories. We want to be great champions of
-
the faith without testing. It's called the Western Church. But
-
the reality is there is a cost, and and the
-
greater the Lord puts his hand upon your life many times,
-
that counterbalance is a greater measure of the sufferings of Christ.
-
This last year has been extremely difficult for all of us,
-
for some way more difficult. I was processing this last week,
-
over the last year and spending some time with the Lord.
-
And you don't always recognize the depth of how things
-
affect you until you get a ways out and you
-
keep getting hit with grief. And I found myself in
-
my mind back in the emergency room with Kinley, and
-
then I thought of the flood are friends that have
-
lost their siblings and processing through all of this. And
-
you know, I told you all before I was honestly
-
didn't want to ask the Lord for a theme for
-
twenty twenty six. I was hoping that he's going to
-
say vacation. Everybody gets a vacation for twelve months. And
-
and I, you know, i'd heard the Lord say stand right.
-
I'm like, well, Lord, that's a great one word, but
-
that can mean a whole lot of things. And yesterday
-
or the day before, I heard standing in victory and
-
I was like, yeah, no, I don't know about that, Like,
-
is that really you, Lord? After all these months of
-
feeling like we've been in a dark room getting beat
-
up at times, and over the last few years, the
-
Lord's given us prophetic themes, not so much of like
-
a bunch of details. And you know, I'm not one
-
to try to figure out who's going to be president
-
and all that stuff like that. You got a fifty
-
to fifty chance on that. That's not that prophetic, right,
-
And I'm being honest, and nor am I one to
-
want to give just generalized words that you can't judge
-
does that make sense. There's too many words out there
-
that you can't judge it. And they go on and
-
on and on about with all this fluff, and it's
-
difficult to judge. And I would say twenty twenty obviously
-
looking back as twenty twenty vision, but the UH in
-
twenty twenty. A couple of the things that we had
-
was reconciliation, which I do think we saw a lot
-
of a lot of families restored during that time, but
-
you also saw the opposite, the paradox and clearing the
-
word of the Lord who I think which was mercy Lord.
-
By the time March hit, I remember sitting there and
-
we were in actually we're in Pagosa Springs. We'd stopped
-
in Santa Fe and at this point everybody was losing
-
their mind. And this was when they had the toilet
-
paper run. Like everybody thought COVID was gonna make you
-
poop your pants, and so everyone was buying all the
-
toilet paper up right, and literally they're losing it. In
-
Santa Fe, there's no and next thing you know, we
-
get there, we get a week pass for the hot springs,
-
and within like twenty four hours, stuff starts shutting down
-
within forty eight hours. You can't go into a restaurant.
-
I looked at least, I said, we're not this good.
-
This was planned seriously. And then I remember sitting every
-
day like how many sean you were a part of
-
the leadership then even then, and how many how many
-
calls do we have trying to figure out what we're
-
gonna do? You know, do we meet in person?
-
Do we not?
-
Because you don't, you know, you got to hear from
-
the Lord. If the Lord says you meet, you meet.
-
I don't give a flip if it hair lips the pope.
-
But you got to get as you got to get
-
the word of the Lord. And obviously everybody we got
-
through twenty twenty and they eventually got away from all.
-
You know, thank god we had those footsteps in the
-
grocery stores. I would have gotten lost down the aisles
-
and gotten too close to somebody, and thank goodness, COVID
-
stayed away from you as long as you were six
-
feet from the other person. Little sarcasm. And then twenty
-
twenty twenty twenty one, twenty twenty one rolls around and
-
the prophetic thing for that year was waging kingdom warfare,
-
lots of warfare, lots of warfare. Twenty twenty two, that
-
wasn't too bad, right, I'm working on that. Twenty twenty twenty,
-
all right, I'm stopping. Twenty twenty two. The anchor still holds.
-
And we got towards the end of twenty twenty two,
-
and we had lots of loss within the community, and
-
that knock the wind out of us, and yet Jesus
-
remained faithful. Twenty twenty three rolled around, and the theme
-
for the year was perseverance as the key in twenty three,
-
and we press through twenty three persevering, believing that twenty
-
twenty four would be easier. And then we get a
-
prophetic theme of twenty twenty four. We declare war in
-
twenty four, take hold of the promises of God because
-
we do hard things. And we did a lot of
-
hard things in twenty twenty four. Fat Troy, I guess
-
he stepped out. Troy came up to me and goes,
-
I don't I don't want to. I don't know if
-
I want to hear one of your themes again. And
-
twenty twenty five was standing in the gap, fighting for
-
those who can't fight for themselves. And how true did
-
that theme become this year? This past year? How many
-
times did you find yourself standing in the gap for someone,
-
praying for someone, walking alongside of them, grieving with them,
-
trying to bring any amount of comfort, knowing that for
-
many there's no words that could be said that would
-
have changed anything, because they just wanted their loved ones back.
-
We have got to give the Lord our ashes from
-
twenty twenty five so that he can make all things
-
beautiful in his time. We've got to trust him that
-
he works all things together for the good for those
-
that are called according to his purpose. And so, in
-
all honesty, I came into this year having a difficult
-
time being excited, just wanting to catch my second breath
-
so we can forge forward. And just like David was
-
told to wait until we heard the marching in the
-
mulberry trees, prophetically, there's a march beginning to happen. The
-
justice of God is beginning to flow. And one of
-
the things I want to warn you about this year
-
is do not allow the enemy to pull you into
-
his sandbox of a political spirit. Things are going to
-
get very intense during this time, believe it or not,
-
Not everybody's excited about Venezuela being freed. They are. And
-
I won't even go into the issues of the motives
-
or any of that stuff. God says, the heart of
-
the King is in the hand of the Lord, and
-
he turns in any direction he pleases. And God is sovereign,
-
and Jesus is still the judge of all the earth,
-
and he's still the God of righteousness and justice, and
-
it's his very throne. And we are beginning to see
-
a reset in nations. I believe we're gonna continue to
-
see nations change that we never thought could change, just
-
like we're beginning to see people get saved that we
-
thought were beyond redemption. How about Snoop Dogg. Did y'all
-
see that? Now? He's smoking the Holy ghost Snoop Snoop
-
For those of you don't know who that is. He's
-
a rapper and he's smoked a lot of pot. He
-
may have three brain cells left at two were fighting,
-
I don't know. But and then the founder, when I
-
retire from pastoring, I'm gonna try to be a comedian,
-
so I test out my jokes on y'all. The founder,
-
the founder of Wikipedia just gave his life to Jesus.
-
You know, we're we're seeing people that we thought were
-
never going to get saved, and they're giving their lives
-
to the Lord. Why because it's harvest time. You have
-
to understand the times and seasons and which we're in
-
and if it was ever harvest time, it is harvest
-
time right now. And y'all, as we get ready to
-
pack up out of here and move out to the
-
campus in the revival tent, I want us to grow
-
because of the harvest. I don't look at transfers as
-
true kingdom's success. I'm not against people coming from other
-
places when they're led to come here, don't get me wrong,
-
But I want to see salvations. I want to see baptisms,
-
like we want to see the harvest. Y'all, are you
-
with me? And so this year there are two two
-
points at least, and let me say this that this
-
is two prophetic themes. Is not the only thing that
-
we're going to see, but just a peace. So twenty
-
twenty five, I'm sorry, twenty oh Lord, I don't want
-
to go back. Twenty twenty six, Standing in Victory, Second Chronicles,
-
twenty verse seventeen, Stand firm, Hold your position and see
-
the salvation of the Lord on your behalf. I believe
-
wholeheartedly we're gonna in the midst of the spiritual warfare
-
and the battles and advancing the Kingdom on the battlefield.
-
We're going to have many times where the Lord says, hey,
-
you just stand here, stand firm, stand, and I will
-
go handle this. Because this issue of the justice of God,
-
there's counterbalances with His justice, and when injustice gets too
-
far out, there's always an adjustment to the justice of God,
-
and he promises to bring us justice, and we're going
-
to see justice in this area. We're going to see
-
justice continue to grow throughout this nation, at least for
-
a period of time, a reprieve. But that means we
-
cannot get lazy. We've got to stay in firm, watch
-
and pray and understand our responsibility for seeing His Kingdom advance.
-
The other thing is expanding our tent pegs. Interestingly enough,
-
and a Jen, you're double dipping'. I see their same
-
spot didn't move. Okay, So her and a few other
-
folks had gone to a conference, the head of the
-
year conference, I believe, with Chuck Pierce. They came back
-
and brought some tent pegs and we went and we
-
drove those stakes in the land at the campus to
-
contend for revival specifically, And then that was the only
-
thing I thought of that, But I kept I have
-
this tent peg still in my jeep. I keep looking
-
at it, not thinking much. At least it starts journaling
-
and the Lord starts speaking to her about expanding her
-
tent pegs. Now, there is a period of time where
-
I would break down the Hebrew year fifty seven eighty three,
-
fifty seven eight and go through every number, and it
-
was like a beautiful Christian horoscope to tell you everything
-
for the next year. But I've pulled away from that
-
because I don't think it's in balance. And some of
-
those years, when you look at that, you look at
-
the number values and the pictures and the pictograph meaning
-
sometimes it's accurate and sometimes it's not. So I don't
-
I don't look for that. She wasn't looking for that,
-
And all of a sudden we found out that this
-
is the year of the tent peg. Now, isn't it
-
interesting that the Lord chose in this season to move
-
us out to the campus in a tent was not
-
my number one choice if you were wondering, and yet
-
he chose to move us out with a tent and
-
the year of the tent peg refers to the Hebrew
-
year fifty seven eighty six. It aligns with the Gregorian
-
year of twenty twenty five to twenty six. A prophetic
-
theme for spiritual establishment, expansion, and staking claims inspired by
-
Biblical figures like ja Al and scriptures about enlarging tents
-
Isaiah fifty four to two and establishing secure places Isaiah
-
twenty two to twenty three. It signifies taking firm ground,
-
driving truth into lies, and preparing for greater influence. The
-
spiritual anchoring using the tent peg the Hebrew letter viove
-
to represent establishing a secure, firm foundation in God's presence.
-
Expansion of growth a call to lengthen your chords and
-
strengthen your stakes Isaiah fifty four to two for spiritual
-
and personal growth. Moving out of tight situations. We're moving
-
out of a smaller situation and into a larger place
-
to expand victory and claiming territory symbolizes driving down truth
-
to overcome enemies or lies, similar to ja Al driving
-
a tent peg into Cisera's temple judges for twenty one
-
and a divine appointment, a season for individuals to rise,
-
take their place and build what Heaven is established. Hey, Jonathan,
-
when I was on drums playing, I felt like the
-
Lord's put a business on your heart of wanting to
-
start a new business, and I believe the Lord's given
-
you the green light this year. Is that accurate? Awesome? Good?
-
It's good, good word, it was accurate. Thank you Jesus.
-
Hopefully that's confirmation. All right, cool, now I just want
-
to disclaim her. I'm not responsible for the level of success,
-
but it's gonna be brilliant. So I'm excited for this year.
-
I'm getting excited. I'm getting excited for the reality that
-
God is going to bring justice. He's gonna bring healing
-
to our region. He's gonna restore hope. We will recover,
-
and I believe the way the Lord works is we
-
will be stronger than ever. It takes time, it takes
-
a tribe, but we will get there. And I'm excited
-
for all of the victories that we're going to talk
-
about this time next year. And I'm not saying it's
-
gonna be rainbows and lollipops and a walk in the park.
-
But we're going to see God move in amazing ways
-
this year. Seven Chronicles twenty fifteen to twenty three says,
-
and he said, listen, all Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem,
-
and King Jehosaphat. Thus says the Lord to you, do
-
not be afraid, and do not be dismayed at this
-
great horde, for the battle is not yours, but God's. Tomorrow.
-
Go down against them. Behold, they will come up by
-
the ascent of Zizz. You will find them at the
-
end of the valley east of the wilderness of Jerule.
-
You will not not drool, But Jerule, you will not
-
need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position,
-
and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf. Oh,
-
Judah and Jerusalem, do not be afraid, do not be dismayed.
-
Tomorrow go out against him, and the Lord will be
-
with you. And Jehosephat bowed his head to Uh with
-
his face to the ground, and all Judah and the
-
inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the Lord, worshiping the Lord.
-
I think the issue of standing in victory, you have
-
to understand they're in battle. It's not that they're not.
-
It's not like they're they're just standing around going twenty
-
twenty six, we're going to stand in victory. Oh that
-
was awesome. Oh wow, didn't see that coming. Oh man,
-
that's amazing. We're not gonna just sit and do nothing.
-
They were still on the battlefield. They were still taking ground.
-
It's the reality that while on the battlefield, the Lord says, hey,
-
just stand and I will go handle that. So as
-
we are moving forward this year standing in victory, we're
-
still gonna be on the battlefield. Because you were born
-
into a battle that never goes away, y'all. You were
-
born to be warriors. You were born to be like
-
Joel's army. And so don't don't don't be like you said.
-
We were gonna stand at victory. And I've got a trial, duh,
-
the testing of your faith. What produces what? Yeah, you
-
don't get a get out a test uh free card? Right.
-
My wife has a unique anointing when it comes to
-
card playing. And we were on vacation and the woman
-
would not lose, and me and Kobe and Micah and
-
Cole didn't care, but the rest of us are very competitive.
-
And and then she's and then she's trash talking us
-
as we lose. Yes, my sweet little timid wife, that
-
has nothing to do with the prophetic word. I just
-
thought i'd share that. Mark three twenty four says if
-
a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
-
Neither can a house when your wife is winning all
-
the card games. First at the in sixteen thirteen, Be watchful,
-
stand firm in the faith. Act like men, Be strong,
-
little caveat. If you're a woman, act like a woman.
-
If you're a man, act like a man. Be strong
-
in the faith. We still got a watch. We still
-
need watchmen on the wall, and that's why we have
-
the Sunday night Watch. And Jen is graciously officially accepted
-
to be over the watch on Sunday nights. So I
-
told her, don't worry. I'll still be there. It's just
-
our wh The schedule's getting wild, folks. But everything has
-
to be bathed in intercession and prayer. God's never done
-
anything of significance without agreement and without prayer. And we've
-
got to keep can keep standing, keep praying for a
-
move of God in this region. Listen, one of the
-
things that's happening right now is we're moving from pastoral
-
church to apostolic church. Do I need to expound like Antioch,
-
it's an Apostolic hub. God never designed his government for
-
a pastor to be ahead, says first apostle, then prophet,
-
then teacher. And yet for so long in the American
-
Church we see like a single pastor trying to fulfill
-
the entire fivefold, which is not This is why they
-
burn out. And the vision of having an Apostolic hub
-
or a modern day Antioch in this region. The Lord
-
began to speak to me about that fifteen years ago
-
at least. And it's our heart to have a full
-
functioning fivefold ministry in house that are actually each able
-
to raise up other fivefold leaders to send out in
-
and out Antioch in and out. You see them coming
-
in and out. And because guess what, we don't own anyone.
-
And if God puts a calling on someone's life and says, hey,
-
you're supposed to go to San Antonio or wherever and
-
do something, we're to celebrate with them. We're to champion them,
-
We're to lay hands on them and support them and
-
bless them and expand expand your tent Ephesian six says this, Therefore,
-
take up the whole armor of God, that you may
-
be able to withstand in the evil day. And having
-
done all to stand firm stand therefore, having fastened on
-
the belt of truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
-
and as shoes for your feet, having put on the
-
readiness given by the Gospel of Peace. I said this
-
first service. Anybody ever have a dream where your shoes
-
are you're barefoot in the dream and you're trying to
-
find your shoes, or you're wondering, what does anybody dream?
-
You know, by the time you're sixty a thirty, your
-
life has been asleep. Some of y'all may be asleep
-
right now. But when you have a dream where you
-
don't have your shoes on, it's because you're lacking peace.
-
And you'll notice that when you have those types of dreams,
-
that's always in a season where you're fighting off anxiousness
-
or anxiety or how about this, you're trying to get
-
dressed in your clothes don't fit. Yeah, all of these things.
-
Because we're so logical in our thought process, we don't
-
pay attention to these dreams. And the Lord is speaking.
-
He's speaking way more I've heard it said this. He's
-
saying way less than what we're saying. He's saying, but
-
he's speaking way more than we want to hear. Say. Law,
-
So in all circumstances, take up the shield of faith,
-
because sometimes it can extinguish some fiery darts. No, take
-
up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish
-
all the flaming darts of the evil. One. One of
-
the greatest dangers for us right now here locally is
-
to begin or is to number one, not grieve number two,
-
grieve without hope. If we grieve without hope, we will
-
be led into unbelief. Are you with me? You cannot
-
give up your hope? Says hope deferred makes the heart
-
sick against all hope, Abraham hoped. Many have noticed the
-
Book of Isaiah coming up a lot lately. Anybody noticed that.
-
It's like here in the last few weeks, I can't
-
believe how many like I'm in Isaiah in my reading plan.
-
And then everybody's talking about scriptures of Isaiah. And I
-
don't just mean like, you know, the because of Christmas.
-
I'm saying all different scriptures from Isaiah. For whatever reason,
-
the Lord is really breathing on Isaiah right now, and
-
there's lots of lots of revelation coming out of there.
-
But Isaiah forty verse eight says, the grass withers, the
-
flowers fade, but the word of our God will stand forever. Y'all,
-
when you are in a valley and you can't feel him,
-
you still have his word, You still have his word
-
to guide you. David said, I've hidden your word in
-
my heart that I might not sin against you. Well,
-
how do you know of you're sinning if you don't
-
know the word. Remember in the Old Covenant, they weren't
-
even reading the scriptures, they weren't even reading the Law,
-
and all of a sudden, it says that they pulled
-
the Book of the Law out and they begin to
-
read it, and everyone got convicted, struck, struck in their
-
heart by God's word. And that's what led to a revival.
-
Understand that there is no true revival without His word
-
and spirit. And this massive divorce that we've watched in
-
the American Church of people either all words, Cessatianists or
-
all spirit, and half of them wack adoodles because they
-
aren't grounded in the Word of God. It's not either
-
or it's it's both. Artie Kendall said years ago that
-
the church has had a silent divorce, and just like
-
with a real divorce, some kids go with the dad
-
and some kids go with the mother. Some of us
-
have gone with the word, and some of us have
-
gone with the spirit. But it needs to be both. Right,
-
You're welcome. So I'm twenty four. Who shall ascend the
-
hill of the Lord, and who shall stand in his
-
holy place, He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
-
who does not lift up his soul to what is false,
-
and does not swear deceitfully, He will receive blessing from
-
the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
-
Such is the generation of those who seek him. To
-
understand that the current generation Generation Z and X, that
-
they're literally being called the revival generation because the young
-
people right now for church attendants in the United States,
-
the young people are the largest number of people back
-
in church right now. So you have a generation rising
-
up that despite previous generations inabilities to pass on certain things,
-
one of the greatest things that we are called to
-
do is leave a spiritual inheritance. We are called to
-
raise up spiritual fathers and mothers. And I might add
-
just because you call yourself a spiritual father or spiritual
-
mother does not mean you are. And I've seen people
-
that have false identity try to find themselves by calling
-
themselves a spiritual father a spiritual mother. But it goes
-
on to say who shall stand in his holy place
-
He who has clean hands in a pure heart, who
-
does not lift up his soul to what is false,
-
and does not swear deceitfully. Y'all, salvation is free, But
-
if you want the anointing on your life, it's costly.
-
There's a price, and it's called intimacy. It's called sanctification.
-
It's called being set apart. It's giving things up that
-
may not even be wrong, but they're things that are
-
in the way from you. Cultivating intimacy with the Lord.
-
Authority has grown in the secret place. You're given a
-
measure of it right to each man has been given
-
a measure of faith Romans twelve three. But what are
-
you gonna do with that? The anointing on your life
-
can eb and flow. Your gift will always work, but
-
it's not gonna break the yoke. You understand that the
-
only way you get bondage broke is because of the anointing.
-
That's why over the last twenty years I've watched different
-
prayer ministers, and some have an anointing to break yokes
-
and see massive deliverance, and some they know everything, but
-
there's just not a lot going on there. Just because
-
you have knowledge of something doesn't mean you know the Lord.
-
Knowledge puffs up. He will receive blessing from the Lord
-
and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Such is
-
the generation of those who seek him, who seek the
-
face of the God of Jacob. Saylah, lift up your heads,
-
o gates, and be lifted up, oh ancient doors, that
-
the King of Glory may come in. Who's this King
-
of glory? The Lord's strong and mighty in battle. Lift
-
up your heads, O gates, lift them up, oh ancient doors,
-
that the King of glory may come in. Who's this
-
King of glory? The Lord of hosts? He is the
-
King of glory. Some years ago Psalm twenty four three
-
to ten. Some years ago I was driving taking the
-
boys to uh school and Hunt Hunt Hunt Elementary School.
-
So this was a long time ago. Because Cole's gonna
-
be twenty one this month, believe it or not. And uh,
-
and my hair was much darker. But I'm driving and
-
I look over and I see these big hills and
-
and I felt like the lords say say that he
-
was gonna give me a mountain, not like a obviously
-
we don't have mountains here, but that we were gonna
-
have our own hill. And I didn't think much of
-
it until we got the twenty five acres and like
-
seven acres is a huge hill that we're going to
-
put a big cross on and have a and and
-
have a prayer area.
-
Up there, you know.
-
A back it says, rite down the vision. Though it tearies,
-
wait for it, it will surely come to pass. Back
-
in twenty thirteen when I launched Cross Kingdom Ministries, and
-
none of this was the church. Plant was not a
-
part of the original vision. What was interesting was everything
-
on my heart, none of it had none of it
-
changed when he said plant the church. The vision just
-
looked different than what I thought it was going to look.
-
And I tell people all the time, it doesn't matter
-
how much revelation you have about your future. He's never
-
going to give you so much that he's going to
-
remove your need for faith, because without faith. It's impossible
-
to please him. So we need to stop asking the
-
Lord to make it so clear that we don't need
-
faith because he will not violate his word. What we
-
need to be asking is for the Lord to strengthen
-
our faith so that we can look at the impossible
-
and say you're possible. We can look at the impossible
-
and say, you got to bow to Jesus. I look
-
back over the last few years, moments of what you
-
would perceive as defeat, whether it was praying for two
-
hours to raise the dead and they didn't come back.
-
I told Randy Clark in November. I was like, yeah,
-
I don't know if you want me on the dead
-
raising team. I'm like, oh, for seven right now, And
-
Randy goes, doesn't matter. You're praying for the dead, and
-
if you keep doing it, you'll see it, and by
-
God's grace, we will see the dead raised. I'm not
-
okay with living a life under what Jesus said we're
-
supposed to live and if he said these things you're
-
gonna do. If Mark sixteen says these things, then he's
-
the truth, he's the life, he's the way, and then
-
I need to look in the mirror and say, Lord,
-
what am I missing? What needs? What do you need
-
to change in me so that I can have the
-
level of faith I need, so that you can flow
-
through me and not be quenched by the kryptonite called unbelief.
-
Because every time we pray for something and it doesn't
-
work out the way it should or the way we
-
perceive it should, in that moment we have a choice.
-
Are we going to go into unbelief and pacify our souls?
-
Are we going to hit our knees and say, Lord,
-
speak to me, Lord, touch me, Lord, change me, Lord,
-
pull down the stronghold, Lord, remove the lies. Proverbs twenty
-
five six and seven says this, do not put yourself
-
forward in the king's presence or stand in the place
-
of the great, For it is better to be told
-
come up here than to be put lower in the
-
presence of a noble. Wait on the Lord. He is
-
your promotion. You are not. There's never been a time
-
in our modern culture where it is easier to promote
-
yourself all the way into a place of destruction. The
-
worst thing in the world is for you to show
-
up into your future ahead of time, because two things
-
will happen if you show up early because of self promotion.
-
Number One, you will not have the character to sustain
-
staying there. Number two, the people that God preordained before
-
the foundations of the earth for you to have influence
-
with probably won't even be there. Because your destiny is
-
not in buildings or in businesses or in materialistic stuff.
-
Your destiny is in people, because it's all about relationship.
-
And if you think you're a leader, here's the test.
-
Turn around who's following. Because there's all sorts of people
-
on social media that say all sorts of stuff and
-
claiming to be all sorts of stuff. And because they
-
know how to manipulate algorithms, you think that somehow there's
-
some gigantic spiritual superman. And the reality is people are
-
getting exposed left and right in the church right now.
-
Leaders are being exposed left and right because God is
-
cleaning house. Because who can ascend the hill of the
-
Lord but he who has clean hands, pure heart, And
-
he is after his bride to have clean hands in
-
a pure heart, because he wants to place an anointing
-
on our lives in these last days that break the yokes,
-
that pull the treasures of darkness out. He's after the people.
-
He's not after all this other stuff, and we need
-
to have blinders on in this hour that we're literally
-
laser focused on the author and finisher of our faith.
-
We need to wake up in the morning and be
-
more concerned and have a greater desire to just simply
-
be with him than to be seen by others. For
-
Samuel twelve sixteen, now therefore stand still and see this
-
great thing that the Lord will do before your eyes.
-
Now in context, this is where Israel asked for a
-
king and God wanted to be their king, and Samuel said, look,
-
stand still, because you need to know the evil that
-
you do. And he calls on the Lord and it's
-
thundering and lightning and it's just dark and dreary, and
-
they all realized, oh man, this was really bad, but
-
let's have a king. Anyways, when Jesus wanted to be
-
their king, God wanted to be their king. But in
-
this context, prophetically, I'm saying, now, therefore stand still and
-
see this great thing that the Lord will do before
-
our eyes this year, unless you don't want to see
-
anything good. Psalm seventy six seven says this, but you
-
you are to be feared. Who can stand before you.
-
When once your anger is roused, listen. One of the
-
things that we have a tendency to do is when
-
we see something happen in real time to something, we
-
always assume, oh, well, what did they do in the moment,
-
when it could have been something's happening right now because
-
of decades ago. You understand, when Israel was in drought,
-
David inquires of the Lord, Lord, why are we in drought?
-
And he said, because Saul broke the covenant with the Gibeonites.
-
And the issue with that is that that covenant was
-
broke fifty years previous. So what does that tell you
-
fifty years later they're in drought. You reap what you sow. Right,
-
you sow to the flesh of the flesh, you reap corruption.
-
If you sow the spirit of the spirit, you reap life.
-
But some of these harvests take time to play out.
-
So don't judge with your natural eyes when things happen.
-
Say Lord, why is this happening? Because it very well
-
could have been something that happened decades before. And now.
-
The invitation on your life is to stand into identificational
-
prayer and repent on behalf of that previous issue. Years ago,
-
I was with was we were in Wharton's Dock, We
-
were at the entry, we were at the spiritual gate
-
of that whole area, and I was with Linda Claussen,
-
Bill Stegemuler and some other folks and we're up there
-
praying and we asked for forgiveness for that region for
-
letting I believe it was the Mormons, Jehovah's witnesses or
-
Mormons for letting them in. And we stood there and
-
the lake was almost bone dry. A supernatural wind began
-
to blow around us as we were praying, and within
-
a couple of months, within just a few days time,
-
that that lake filled up forty percent forty to fifty.
-
So one of the dangers that we're facing right now
-
is that because of science, you have weather modification, right,
-
and people argue over how much it can modify the weather,
-
but we do know they're messing with it daily. You
-
see the trails in the sky and it's it's not
-
conspiracy theory, it's like it's legit. There's there's cloud seating programs.
-
One of the dangers is for you to look with
-
natural eyes and if because the Lord said I will
-
cause it to rain, on one land, and I will
-
withhold it from another. And then in the last days,
-
we know that weather is going to go crazy. It's
-
not global warming, sorry to tell you, it's the earth groaning.
-
And I also want to tell you that it's also
-
because of the wickedness of the people in the land.
-
And scripture says that if you get so wicked, the
-
land itself will stew you out. So that's what I
-
think about global warming. You all seem excited about that.
-
I'm gonna I'm gonna start landing the plane safely. Let
-
all the earth fear the Lord, Let all the inhabitants
-
of the world stand in awe of him, Psalm thirty
-
three eight. I don't know about y'all, but the reality
-
of leaders being more accountable is a reality we're seeing
-
come to pass. You have if you're if you're called
-
to any level of leadership and significance on your life,
-
you're gonna find yourself on a very short leash. And
-
the reality is you may be frustrated that you can't
-
get away with anything. I had never been able to
-
get away with anything. Lisa has laughed at how quick
-
I get spanked when I do something stupid. I mean,
-
it's like I'm like, oh my goodness. I remember leaving
-
the house one Sunday morning. We were still going to
-
Impact church back then, and Lisa was trying to tell
-
me something about speeding and I was like, hon you
-
can go five over. They're not going to pull you over. Well,
-
one Sunday morning, we pull out of the driveway on
-
Junction Highway and we're headed to church. I get pulled over.
-
I'm going five over. We get we you know, I'll
-
pull off to the side, and he's like, where are
-
you all headed? I said to church. Actually I think
-
it was Fredericksburg. We're headed to Fredericksburg. At Sunday House,
-
I said, we're headed to church, and Lisa, my helper,
-
my little helper, says, officer, would you please tell my
-
husband that he will get pulled over for going five over.
-
I was like, you're not helping me right now. And
-
then that that little giggle like when you everybody's button
-
the card game, and it just tickled you so much.
-
What's the whole point of this not just to laugh.
-
The point is thank God that he's correcting you. It says,
-
if you be without chastening, then you don't belong to him.
-
If you can sin and get away with it and
-
not feel bad, you better check your birth certificate. Spiritually, yeah,
-
Proverbs nineteen twenty one. Many of the plans in the
-
mind of a man, but it's the purpose of the
-
Lord that will stand. There's this whole theme. So when
-
the Lord speaks to me about a theme, whether it's
-
standing or fighting or whatever it is, I will do
-
an entire word search of every scripture for that word,
-
throughout Genesis to Revelation, because I want to know that
-
I have a well balanced understanding of what he's saying
-
to me, and I'm not just cherry picking a couple
-
of verses to prove a point and taking them out
-
of context. That's why we have all of these doctrines
-
of demons re emerging again, like gnosticism and annihilationism and
-
universalism and all of these things. Are you with me?
-
Guard your hearts because in the last days meant they
-
will listen to tickling ears. They will not hold on
-
to solemn doctrine, but give in to seducing spirits of
-
doctrines of demons. You understand, the words seduced doesn't always
-
mean a sexual seducing. It can literally mean a fleshly
-
seducing of knowledge. There's different types of seduction. Okay, almost
-
perfect timing, Almost done, Isaiah eight ten. Take counsel together,
-
but it will come to nothing. Speak a word, but
-
it will not stand. For God is with us so
-
many things that we've been battling in this last season.
-
You understand the enemy was out to take us out
-
in this last season, Make no mistake about it. I
-
had a spiritual attack the other night and I came
-
to It was pitch black, and I was bound up
-
and there's demon was next to me, and I heard
-
him pull out a knife audibly sh and I was like,
-
in the name of Jesus, and I came against that
-
and I woke up. It was on vacation. Now you
-
know you want you want the fluffy, nice, amazing dreams
-
and visions, and I'm over here getting attacked hallelujah. But
-
the reality is the Lord will protect us, and I
-
know it doesn't feel like he's protected us to some
-
And we don't always know why certain things happen, and
-
we live in attention of mystery. But you're here, everyone
-
in this room is here today and breathing because the
-
Lord is not done with you. That means your calling
-
is not done. And I don't know about y'all, but
-
I want the blood of the enemy on my sword,
-
and I want to go out with my sword drenched
-
with the blood of the enemy. And I would rather
-
go out on the battlefield than be on the sidelines
-
with cheap accusations from a cheap seat. All right, last
-
two Romans Romans five to two. Through him, we have
-
also obtained access by faith into this grace in which
-
we stand, and we rejoice and hope of the glory
-
of God, y'all. I believe wholeheartedly we're going to literally,
-
tangibly with our natural eyes see the glory of the
-
Lord in that tent. I've seen a glory cloud one time,
-
wide awake in my backyard with my wife, and I
-
shared that with y'all. Was about a year ago when
-
we saw that, and I was like, do you see this?
-
And talking to Bonnie and Shabda they started out in
-
a tent and some other Roger Sykes and his wife,
-
they were actually during that they were there. Y'all don't
-
know him. He's Bobby Connor's on Bobby Connor's board. The
-
prophet Bobby Connor. Anyways, Roger a great guy, but he
-
was telling me a story. They literally had a glory
-
cloud show up inside the tent and you could see
-
everyone could see the lightning coming out of this cloud.
-
And he said that they missed the tent. I don't
-
know what it is with the Lord about tents, but
-
here we are. And it's interesting that this year is
-
the year of the tent peg and he specifically called
-
us to go into a tent and brought confirmation to that. Like,
-
I have zero doubt about that, And we are not
-
far off from starting to scrape some dirt and then
-
we're going to expand our tent pegs with the buildings.
-
So I don't know about y'all, but I think we
-
have a legitimate right to be excited. I think you
-
have permission to get excited about this year. Last scripture
-
about tents Exodus thirty three to nine. When Moses entered
-
the tent, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand
-
at the entrance of the tent, and the Lord would
-
speak with Moses. We want to be a community, a
-
tribe that is centered around his presence, not programs, not marketing,
-
none of that. We want Jesus, We want the presence
-
of the Lord, and we want to be a generation
-
that seeks his face, the God of Jacob. So quick
-
review twenty twenty Thank god it's over COVID. That's twenty
-
twenty reckon. So there were good things. God worked. I can't.
-
I mean, there were so many testimonies of family saying
-
because they were all locked up together, relationships were mended,
-
reconciliation happened. We were declaring the word of healing over
-
lots of people twenty twenty one. Waging kingdom warfare twenty
-
twenty two. The anchor still holds twenty twenty three. Perseverance
-
is a key in twenty three, twenty twenty four, we
-
declare war in twenty four taking hold of the promises
-
of God because we do hard things. Twenty twenty five
-
standing in the gap, fighting for those who can't fight
-
for themselves. And twenty twenty six the prophetic thing for
-
this year is standing in victory and expanding their tent pegs.
-
Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of
-
the Lord on your behalf. Let's stand. Father. I just
-
asked that you would just hit us with a B
-
twelve shot of your spirit, Lord, that you would give
-
us eyes to see, ears to hear, hearts that receive. Lord,
-
pull the scales off our eyes, the wax out of
-
our ears, the callouses off our souls, and expand our
-
spirits capacity for your spirit, that you would cause a
-
fresh baptism and fire to fall on us once again. Lord, Lord,
-
you filled the disciples over and over and over, and
-
sometimes there was prayer, intercession, earthquakes, and they were filled,
-
and they were filled, and they were filled. Lord, we
-
need to be filled more than once. So would you
-
fill us afresh this morning? Would you give us a
-
boldness of spirit, a confident expectation, and the God of Israel,
-
that we would know that you are a provider. You're
-
Jehovah Jiroh. You are the healer, Jehovah Raphah. You are
-
our righteousness, Jehovah sick Canoe. You are our peace, Jehovah Shalom. Lords,
-
You're our banner, You're the warrior. You're the Lord of Hosts.
-
You're the God that sees. You're our bread that came
-
down from heaven. You're the Sun, the Everlasting Father, the
-
Prince of Peace, the Mighty God, the counselor you're wonderful. Lord,
-
you're Jehovah Nissi, you're Jehovah Aurah, the God of light.
-
Or that we this week would manifest your names in
-
our life. Lord, I thank you that there is no
-
longer Jew, Gentile Greek, but we're one new man, and
-
that all the promises are yes and amen in Christ.
-
So Lord, would you release the resources the provision that's needed,
-
the abundance of provision for the good works that you've
-
called us to walk in. Lord Deuteronomy eight eighteen, you
-
are the one that gives us power to make wealth. Lord,
-
we want to see poverty eradicated in this region. Lord.
-
We want to see the religious spirit eradicated in this region. Lord,
-
we want to see an open heaven. We want to
-
see the fullness of a modern day Antioch.
-
What.
-
I thank you that you go before us and your
-
our rear guard. I thank you that you're making the
-
path straight as we trust in you. So, Father, with
-
open hands, we give you this year. We say not
-
our will, but your will be done. So Lord, we
-
yield and submit our wills to you this morning. You're
-
good and you only give good gifts. So thank you
-
in Jesus' name. Amen, the prayer team we come forward.
-
If you all need prayer, come on up.
-
Thank you for listening.
