  1. You know, one of the one of the things about

  2. I guess Sean didn't want to hear me talk. One

  3. of the things about us staying a people of his

  4. presence is that you have to get sensitive to his invitations.

  5. You know, I mentioned this earlier this week, actually, I said,

  6. you know, Jesus would be right in the middle of

  7. ministering to the masses, I mean hundreds thousands of people,

  8. and he would literally just leave. I was like, wouldn't

  9. that be crazy? One Sunday, I'm like, halfway through my sermon,

  10. I'm like, all right, peace out. They'd be like, where

  11. are you going? I'm going to pray. But in all honesty,

  12. I mean, it's it's us learning to recognize those divine

  13. moments where the Lord wants to do something and in

  14. that moment, in order for us to respond to an invitation,

  15. we have to lay our will down, we have to

  16. lay our agenda down, we have to be willing for

  17. him to disrupt us. Would Eric, would you do me

  18. a favor and put the picture go to the very

  19. bottom of the still photos and put the shepherds thank you.

  20. And we are in a very unique sea right now,

  21. And I don't think it's a mistake that the Lord

  22. led us down this path of the baptism of fire.

  23. It was fall of twenty four that the Lord gave

  24. me a dream about the fire conferences. And I've said

  25. I said this last week, said this first service. I

  26. am the purifying fire of God that's taking place in

  27. this season. I really thought this intensity was going to

  28. hit us several years ago. You know, it reminds me

  29. of the prophet Ezekiel when the Lord tells Ezekiel, hey,

  30. come here, I want to show you something, and he

  31. digs a hole through the wall and he's watching the

  32. abominations of the elders and the leaders inside the sanctuary

  33. and the grotesque sin that they're committing. Well, there comes

  34. a point where, after so long, God steps in. And

  35. he doesn't step in because we're so amazing and we're

  36. so great. He steps in for his namesake. Go do

  37. a word study for every time he said, for my

  38. name's sake. Because of my name's sake, I will do this.

  39. He's very he's very long, suffering, very patient, slow to anger.

  40. Good thing. Right, we look at somebody next to you

  41. and say, thank God, he's slow to anger. Now look

  42. at your now, look at your spouse and say he

  43. may be slower to anger than you. Now I'm playing,

  44. but seriously, we are in a in a a correction season.

  45. And the other day I was reading and as the

  46. as I was reading about Jesus being tempted, it says,

  47. and the enemy left him until a more opportune time.

  48. We're in a not just a season of God's purifying fire,

  49. but we're also in a moment where the enemy is

  50. going to try to divide the church. It would be

  51. it's his goal to bring division, and you're already seeing

  52. it right now as the Lord is exposing things. It's

  53. messy right now. Can we all agree, it's really messy

  54. right now? Can we all agree everybody in their uncle

  55. has an opinion. Right But on the other side of

  56. this correction, by the grace of God, there will be

  57. a bride and a leadership in the Body of Christ

  58. that is more sanctified and set apart. I said this

  59. last week. Anytime you have a restoration process that ends

  60. up at the expense of the victims, we're in trouble.

  61. We have got to stay balanced with all of this

  62. and that this is unfortunately, and you need to know this. Unfortunately,

  63. this really is the tip of the iceberg with the

  64. amount of things that have been done in secret. Right now,

  65. the Lord is shaking every mountain of influence, and every

  66. mountain is being exposed. They just released more Epstein files

  67. and tons of stuff's coming out on that. Hey, they

  68. couldn't find the noose, big surprise, there's no noose in

  69. a jail. They have no evidence of a noose from

  70. his jail cell. And the one camera that work that

  71. just so happened to be turned our way off to

  72. the side where you could barely see somebody in orange

  73. go up. See, we think we can get away with

  74. things that we think are minimal and that it we're

  75. gonna be just fine, and that somehow the Lord's not

  76. looking at those things the same way as these other

  77. issues that we have dealt with. And I've said this

  78. over the years. What we think is little on earth

  79. is actually big in heaven. And it's the little things

  80. that we justify in our life that we're not yet

  81. ready to let go that's actually hindering us from being

  82. promoted into the deeper things of what God has for

  83. our lives. Your promotion equals responsibility in the Kingdom. So

  84. when God promotes you. He increases the level of responsibility,

  85. because responsibility equates to authority. But then it says, not

  86. many of you should desire to be teachers because guess what,

  87. you're even more accountable. He's we're leaders are on a

  88. shorter leash. If you think you can't get away with something,

  89. just going to full time ministry as a or deacon.

  90. It's like a choker chain you hold on. Lord. But

  91. I want to tell you, if you're one of those

  92. people that can't get away with anything, you ask my wife.

  93. We've been married twenty six years, and I can't get

  94. away with anything. I mean anything which is yes, who

  95. said that that is a good thing? I can't. I mean,

  96. I think about trying to get away with something on

  97. my wh But we can't lose sight in this moment.

  98. Our eyes are supposed to be fixed on the author

  99. and finisher of our faith. Part of one of the

  100. things the enemy wants to do in this hour is

  101. actually cause people to fall away because they get jaded

  102. with the lack of character and the leaders in the church.

  103. And if you're and if you're in a place where

  104. you're already pulling everything apart, and you're and you haven't

  105. dealt with your pain from church. This is just one

  106. more rock on the stack that you, in your own

  107. mind could try to justify and be like, Yep, I

  108. think I'm done. Remember it says that there's going to

  109. be a falling away, y'all. Don't put man on a pedestal.

  110. I don't care who it is, how much anointing is

  111. on there. One of the most godly men that I

  112. that I met in my entire life was John Paul Jackson.

  113. That guy could he could pull into this parking lot

  114. right now, and without exaggeration, you would feel an increase

  115. of the presence of Jesus. Was just talking to a

  116. pastor buddy of mine. They literally had to change the

  117. ISO on the cameras with John Paul because he literally

  118. radiated light and it was picked up on the cameras

  119. and they had to adjust it. But he was still

  120. a human being. He just carried the presence of Jesus intensely.

  121. I walked away that day the first time I met him,

  122. after being froze holding his hand for what felt like

  123. ten minutes and not being able to talk. My wife

  124. saved me. She eventually came in and shook his hand,

  125. but I was getting an impartation I didn't know I

  126. was going to get. And I remember walking away that

  127. day in twenty ten and saying, Jesus, I don't care

  128. what it takes. I want to carry you like he does.

  129. I have tangible proof. Now I met somebody that carries

  130. you the way I want to carry you. And so

  131. I've been on this journey of pursuing him and desiring

  132. to carry the presence of the Living God in a

  133. way that would change people's lives without talking because of

  134. Christ in me. And that comes with the price. It

  135. doesn't come overnight. We don't get to we don't get

  136. to get on some kind of fast track or determine

  137. how much of His manifest presence we're gonna carry. But

  138. like the song says, may we never lose our hunger,

  139. well it says wonder, I say hunger. May we never

  140. lose our wonder, our hunger. And last week when I

  141. released the word about the Shepherd's Rod, I felt like

  142. the Lord was speaking to me to expound on that.

  143. And it's Ezekiel twenty thirty five to thirty eight, and

  144. I will bring you into the wilderness of the people.

  145. And there I will enter into judgment with you, face

  146. to face, as I entered into judgment with your father

  147. and the wilderness of the land of Egypt. So I

  148. will enter into judgment with you, declares the Lord God.

  149. I will make you pass under the rod, and I

  150. will bring you into the bond of the covenant. I

  151. will purge out the rebels from among you, and those

  152. who transgress against me. I will bring them out of

  153. the land where they sojourn, but they shall not enter

  154. the land of Israel. Then you'll know that I am

  155. the Lord. I want to tell you this morning that

  156. if you stiff arm the Lord in this season, you

  157. will forfeit where he wants to take you in the

  158. next one. Mark it down. He is coming closer. The

  159. purifying fire of the Lord is here. He is dealing

  160. with the body of Christ. He is dealing with the

  161. injustice of our nation. And he's doing this because of

  162. his namesake. He's doing this because he's a good father.

  163. He's doing this because of love. And he doesn't wink

  164. at people when they live their lives at the expense

  165. of others. The absolute deprivity of man, and in our culture,

  166. it's honestly mind boggling at times. I mean, you look

  167. at the lighting of the torch at the Olympics and

  168. you realize it's an upside down pentagram and all the

  169. occult symbolism is they're not even hiding anymore. And we

  170. have been and soul lulled to sleep. If I said

  171. that word right, If not, I will have an AI

  172. moment with Caelin. But it's been it's been a slumbering lullaby.

  173. Remember Jesus said, what I say to you, I say

  174. to everyone, stay awake. So have you grown tired? Have

  175. you fallen asleep this morning? Where's your inner desire with

  176. the Lord? I'm very I don't know about y'all, but

  177. I personally am someone who is very structured. I like

  178. my quiet times a certain way consistently. I do not

  179. like it when my quiet times get disrupted and I

  180. have to change how I do my quiet times. I'm

  181. being honest and that I feel like the Lord flipped

  182. me upside down on my head in the last season

  183. and I was like, oh my goodness, and I had

  184. to adjust how I was spending time with the Lord

  185. and the way it looked like, what if we were

  186. so legalistic and rigid with our spouses that we just

  187. did the same old, same old, exact same thing every

  188. single day at the exact same time, and did not

  189. ever vary from that, never went off course from it.

  190. We're doing breakfast at this time. I'm gonna tell you

  191. my needs. In ten minutes, I'm gonna have two cups

  192. of coffee. And I'm serious, y'all. All of a sudden,

  193. the wonder, the all and the wonder and the beauty

  194. of that relationship is literally crushed, because deep down inside

  195. we want to be in control of that relationship so

  196. we don't get hurt. We set our prayer agendas and

  197. stick to them in detail, less the tangible presence of

  198. the Holy Spirit begin to move into places of our

  199. hearts that we're not ready. You understand that you have

  200. to be very conscious of how you handle fire. I

  201. love how Jesus is the metaphor of him is a lion.

  202. And what was it? Who was it said that he's

  203. he's good, but he's not safe. Good luck with putting

  204. a lion on a leash, Good luck with trying to

  205. put a lion in a cage. And right now the

  206. roar of the Lion of Judo is being released and

  207. there's this purifying fire of the Holy Spirit that is

  208. being poured out in this hour. And it's so important that,

  209. just like with Moses in the burning bush, that we

  210. take time to turn and see why this bush is

  211. not being consumed when it's on fire. And it's the

  212. same way that God longs for us to carry his presence,

  213. that we would burn, but yet we're still here, That

  214. we would be like the bush burning with the fire

  215. of God but not consumed. And then people would turn

  216. because of the way you live your life, to see

  217. why you're burning this way and yet you're still here.

  218. People all around us right now are are perplexed, perplexed.

  219. They are having difficulties sleeping, They're worried about their financial future,

  220. They're worried about the what this country is going to

  221. look like? Yet alone are is ai going to take

  222. their job? There's so many things happening right now. I

  223. want to tell you it's not going to make a

  224. lick of difference if you have a bachelor's degree in

  225. five years. That everything that we have called the norm

  226. is literally changing. But you know it's not changing the

  227. truth of the gospel. You know it's not changing. Is

  228. that Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith,

  229. not leaders. You know, it's not changing. He's the same yesterday, today,

  230. in forever Hebrews thirteen thirteen. I believe he does not change,

  231. and he is intentional with his bride in this moment.

  232. And we're going to continue to have invitations where we

  233. can turn and look at the bush and then we hear,

  234. take off your shoes. This is holy ground. What if

  235. you lived a life that was so connected, so close

  236. to him that if somebody messed with you, they instantly

  237. had to deal with the manifest presence of the Lord

  238. that says, back off my son, back off my daughter,

  239. because we're in that dark night of the spirit where

  240. we recognize that nothing of eternal significance can happen apart

  241. from the Holy Spirit doing something through us. In Deuteronomy

  242. eight two to three, it says, and you shall remember

  243. the whole way that the Lord your God has led

  244. you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might

  245. humble you, testing you to know what's in your heart.

  246. It goes back to the same principle when he left

  247. the king to test to see what was in his heart?

  248. Did he know it was in his heart. Absolutely, he

  249. doesn't gain a knowledge, but yet he deals with us

  250. in our finite state. That means you're little. He doesn't

  251. judge you based on tomorrow. That would be injustice. James says,

  252. be quick to hear, and slow to speak, and slow

  253. to become angry. I want to tell you that is

  254. one of the greatest scriptures we can remember in this hour.

  255. Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to

  256. become angry, for the anger of man does not produce

  257. the righteousness of God. Chris was saying at for Service,

  258. there's a way that seems right and a man, but

  259. in the end it leads to death. Proverbs, and in

  260. this moment we need to be reminded of Proverbs three,

  261. five and six. Trust in the Lord with all of

  262. your heart. Don't lean on your own understanding in all

  263. of your ways. Acknowledge Him and he'll make your paths straight.

  264. You know when it says in the Psalms, delight yourself

  265. in the Lord, and He'll give you the desires of

  266. your heart. That means, through that intimacy, that connection with

  267. the Lord, that your heart changes and you begin to

  268. delight in what the Father delights in. And then Therefore

  269. it is according to his will, and he is justified

  270. to give you the desires of your heart. Remember the

  271. whole way that the Lord your God has led you

  272. these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you,

  273. testing you to know what's in your heart, whether you

  274. would keep his commandments or not. And he humbled you

  275. and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which

  276. you did not know, nor did your fathers know that

  277. he might make you know that man does not live

  278. by bread alone, but man lives by every word that

  279. comes from the mouth of the Lord. Did you know

  280. that's exactly the scripture Jesus quoted to Satan in the

  281. wilderness when he goes to you're the son of God,

  282. command these stones to turn into bread, and he goes,

  283. man shall not live by bread alone, but by every

  284. word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Proverb says,

  285. one man's story sounds right, and so the other one

  286. shows up. You know what I've learned with marriage counseling,

  287. You better get both of them in the room to

  288. get the truth. Come on, we all got that halo

  289. effect when we come into counseling. Oh yeah, if they're

  290. way works and my stuff's you know, well, let's bring

  291. them in and see what they think about that statement.

  292. But the problem is, and especially with social media, you're

  293. getting one side of the story many times, CNN, the

  294. communist News Network, I can go off on all the networks.

  295. It's okay, But the truth is you're being told a

  296. narrative and they want you to believe that narrative. The

  297. enemy's telling you a narrative of your life every single day,

  298. hoping that you take it hook line and sinker so

  299. that you're veered away from actually remembering that you have

  300. the mind of Christ and that his word is spiritually discerned,

  301. which means the world doesn't understand it. So when you're

  302. going down this path and you're like, hey, I need

  303. to go over here, or hey I need to go

  304. for a walk and pray and talk with the Lord,

  305. and somebody else is like, why why are you doing that?

  306. Just go do this because they don't understand. There's a

  307. way that seems right to man, but in the end

  308. it leads to death. And there's there's hundreds of millions

  309. of people that are partaking from the tree of the

  310. knowledge of good and evil. They're partaking of the good

  311. of that tree, and they think it's God and it's not.

  312. And it's the good off the tree of knowledge, of

  313. good and evil that are going to take so many

  314. people to destruction. Y'all with me, But who can endure

  315. the day of his coming? And who can stand when

  316. he appears? For he's like a refiner's fire, like fuller soap.

  317. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.

  318. He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them

  319. like gold and silver. They will bring offerings in the

  320. righteousness to the in righteousness to the Lord. Y'all, your

  321. faith is being tried by the fire of God, and

  322. you should not think it's strange when you end up

  323. in these fiery trials. He tells us that why is

  324. it we always get shocked every time we get into

  325. a fiery trial. It's like we get amnesia and we

  326. forget that in this life you're gonna have trouble. Who

  327. kind of wish that would have been, like you know,

  328. capital letters bold and about a thirty eight font, like

  329. you open it up and like in this life you'll

  330. have trouble. And yet when trouble comes, we're like, I

  331. can't believe this, what did I do nothing? You're welcome

  332. so that the tested genuineness of your faith more precious

  333. than gold that perishes, though it's test by fire, may

  334. be found to result in praise and glory and honor

  335. at the revelation of Jesus. You're gonna walk on streets

  336. of gold. Anybody paying attention to the silver and gold

  337. market and just shoo, shoo, shoom like all over the board.

  338. We're gonna walk on it. The things that cause nations

  339. to go to war and sacrifice their people for it,

  340. We're gonna walk on it. In Heaven who gave himself

  341. for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to

  342. purify for himself of people for his own possession who

  343. are zealous for good works. So y'all coming under the rod,

  344. this is a good thing. Coming under the shepherd's rod

  345. prophetically symbolizes undergoing divine examination, just like Yam Kapoor with

  346. those that still observe Yam Kapoor because they've not given

  347. the Jews have not recognized Jesus as their savior. The

  348. day of Atonement. Remember in the Old Covenant, before the

  349. temple was destroyed, on the day of atonement Yam Kapoor,

  350. the high priest would go into the Holy of Holies,

  351. but he would have a rope tied around him with

  352. bells pomegranates, and the moment those bells stop moving, well,

  353. you're gonna ordain a new high priest because he went

  354. into the Holy of Holies with sin in his life.

  355. And then in the New Covenant that says we can

  356. come boldly before the throne of Grace. We can come

  357. boldly before his throne. Why because we are in Christ.

  358. I think if we would have lived under the Old

  359. Covenant just for a few moments and then come and

  360. then transport back into twenty twenty six and the New Covenant,

  361. we would realize the amazing gift, the amazing gift. You

  362. know what that amazing gift is, that amazing gift obviously

  363. eternal life. But guess what. In the Old Covenant, the

  364. Holy Spirit would rest on a select few You're kings

  365. and priests, prophets. And then fast forward into the New Covenant,

  366. the presence of God, the spirit of God is dwelling

  367. inside of every believer. You're the arc, You're the temple,

  368. You're the living stone. You're the one that people should

  369. be like, if I get too close, I might get zapped.

  370. But instead we're so earthly focused and earthly bound that

  371. we forget that we're not near human near men anymore.

  372. We're a new creation. We've become divine partakers of his

  373. divine nature. The God of the universe dwells inside of you.

  374. It's not a metaphor. The creator of the universe, the

  375. one that the universe exists inside of, has taken up

  376. residence inside of you. So coming under the shepherd's rod

  377. symbolizes the undergoing divine examination, discipline, and being fathered by God.

  378. It describes purging and correction, and separation of the faith,

  379. separation of faithful from the faith lists and I want

  380. to tell you there's a line being drawn in the sand.

  381. The wolfs will not hide in this season, and if we,

  382. as leaders are not willing to call them out, we

  383. have no business leading. It represents a covenant relationship where

  384. God guides, protects, and when necessary corrects as people similar

  385. to a shepherd, the shepherd uses the rod to count

  386. and inspect each sheep, distinguishing them, as mentioned in Leviticus

  387. twenty seven point thirty two, where they'd take a tenth

  388. of the animals and set it apart for the Lord.

  389. The rod correction and discipline, and the rod acts as

  390. a tool for discipline, not just punishment, but training to

  391. guide the sheep back under the right path. It's also

  392. a protector. We come under for protection. The Lord's my shepherd.

  393. I shall not want. He makes me lie down in

  394. green pastures. He leads me besides still waters. He restores

  395. my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness. For

  396. his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley

  397. of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil,

  398. for You're with me. Your rod and your staff they

  399. comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the

  400. presence of my enemy. You anoint my head with oil,

  401. and my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow

  402. me all the days of my life, and I'll dwell

  403. in the house of the Lord forever. This bond of covenant,

  404. This remembering as we come under and go into that

  405. bond of covenant, that God made covenant with us. It

  406. was by the blood of Jesus, just like when He

  407. cut covenant with Abraham and the animal was split in two.

  408. The Lord is the one that went between the two halves,

  409. because they would do that when they cut covenant with

  410. each other, and it was symbolizing that if I break

  411. this covenant, let me be cut into two, just like

  412. this animal. And the Lord knew that God or that

  413. man did not have the capacity to keep those covenants.

  414. So the Lord himself cut covenant with Abraham and went

  415. through that sacrifice between it, and he's saying I would

  416. be He says he would be cut into two if

  417. he broke the covenant. And so therefore, when Jesus comes

  418. to redeem us and this new covenant, he's the sacrifice

  419. because we can't do it. And that's why it says

  420. in First John, even when we are unfaithful, he remains faithful,

  421. for he cannot deny himself even when our hearts condemn us.

  422. He is greater than our heart. And so passing under

  423. the rod brings the sheep into a closer committed relationship

  424. with the Lord. That is the goal, a deeper intimate

  425. relationship with the Lord and actually having a greater revelation

  426. of the new covenant that we're under. Don't worry, I'm

  427. almost done. You know what's interesting is coming under the

  428. shepherd's rod. As the sheep come in every night, the

  429. shepherd inspects the sheep, he counts the sheep, He takes

  430. inventory of his sheep. Kind of goes back to the

  431. Lord's prayer. Give me this day my daily bread. Forgive

  432. me and my trespasses, as I forgive those that trespass

  433. against me. You know, there are scriptures that we don't

  434. like teaching on. How many sermons you heard on the

  435. Book of Job, like the new Believer said, did you

  436. know jobs in the Bible? Or how about this, how

  437. many sermons have you heard of? You don't forgive, you

  438. won't be forgiven. And yet so many times we hold

  439. on to forgiveness for months and years, and it literally

  440. begins to eat away at our soul and cause physical illness.

  441. So many times people literally get physically healed when they

  442. actually forgive and deal with bitterness in their heart. Bitterness

  443. can cause cancer, They can cause osteoporosis, It rots the bones.

  444. There's so many of these principles in proverbs, if you'll

  445. read it, proverb says, the heart knows its own bitterness.

  446. That's why if you've ever been in my office and

  447. you say, I don't know what does pastor justin say

  448. I don't know, don't live here, I don't know. Many

  449. times is actually confusion masquerading under the name I don't know.

  450. And you're partnering with that confusion because if you don't know,

  451. then you don't have to go there, And if you

  452. don't have to go there, you don't have to deal

  453. with the pain. That is called disassociation. And many of

  454. us have a PhD in it. If you find yourself

  455. saying I don't know all the time, could do it?

  456. Send it away, say I break agreement with with I

  457. don't know, because there is a part of you that

  458. knows that was also free. I'm gonna land the plane

  459. you already, I'll be safe. So he's an illuminating fire,

  460. and he is illuminating everything says what is done in

  461. secret will be shout shouted from the mountaintops. This is

  462. actually a beautiful season if you have eyes to see

  463. in the proper way to see it. Now, I'm not

  464. saying beautiful in all the stuff that's happened for us

  465. on a local level, but I'm saying what the Lord's

  466. doing right now in this hour a big picture. As

  467. he's purifying the bride he is cleaning house out of

  468. his love because he's a good father. And I want

  469. to encourage you to stay humble, to stay hungry, and

  470. to stay teachable. Don't lose those things. Don't lose them.

  471. If you don't lose those three things alone, that will

  472. help ensure that you live a life that actually ends

  473. well and you don't shipwreck your faith. I bet you,

  474. at least right now as I stand, I will be

  475. forty nine years old in April. Yes, I know it's

  476. hard to believe Lisa and I are the same age,

  477. but it's a true story. But I'll be forty nine

  478. and I can tell you probably fifty percent of the

  479. people that I had been in in ministry connection with

  480. are no longer in ministry. In fact, many of them

  481. have pulled their spiritual life apart to such a degree

  482. that it's hard to even recognize, and it should not be.

  483. There is a falling away that's been prophesied in scripture,

  484. and I believe that we're beginning to see it. But

  485. it doesn't have to It doesn't have to be you,

  486. and it doesn't have to happen on your watch. To

  487. the best of your ability, keep your eyes on Jesus,

  488. because I'm telling you the corruption in perversion that's being

  489. exposed is way deeper than many think. And so keep

  490. your eyes on the Lord in the midst of it.

  491. And it says, bad company corrupts good habits, right are

  492. good morals? Have wisdom on who you choose for friendships.

  493. If there's anybody in your life right now that is

  494. actually pulling you down, that is actually hurting your life,

  495. your your walk with Jesus, then adjust the boundary of

  496. your life with them. You're commanded to forgive. You're not

  497. commanded to be close friends with everybody. You don't take

  498. al Qaeda into your home and have dinner with them.

  499. And there's gonna be friendships in your life that come

  500. and go, and there's gonna be friendships that, because of

  501. their unhealth, at least in the season you're in, you're

  502. gonna have to bump their closeness to you out a

  503. few circles to have healthy boundaries. And maybe that changes.

  504. But you have got to guard your heart proverbs for

  505. guard your hot, your heart for out of it flow

  506. the issues of life. Don't be misled. Bad company corrupts

  507. good habits, good morals. You want to be a champion

  508. in the faith, and you better start hanging out with

  509. giant slayers, y'all with me. The closer you get to him,

  510. it does affect where you spend your time. You want

  511. to you want to walk and have a life beyond

  512. the veil. You want to radiate the light of Jesus.

  513. You want to truly be the salt that He's called

  514. you to be. Then embrace his covenant, come under his correction,

  515. Understand that his correction is righteousness, his correction is for

  516. our good, and make swift changes when he corrects you.

  517. Swift swift obedience because it's out of a father's love. Man.

  518. That was Jake didn't get kicked off the drums, if

  519. you were wondering. He had to leave for work. So

  520. we were trying to do a swapout, and then I realized,

  521. I don't know that I ever played that last song.

  522. So I was like, Lord, have mercy on me because

  523. I'm like, but y'all don't know the whole story with

  524. Jake and I. You know, it's not my place. But

  525. his testimony was so powerful this morning to recognize that

  526. he's a loving father. When you know that he's a

  527. loving father, it changes your perspective when he brings correction.

  528. My closest friends in my life right now, which aren't many,

  529. but my closest friends will hold my feet to the fire.

  530. They will call me out if I get a spirit

  531. of stupid and I want that. I need that, We

  532. need that, We need those covenant friendships. This guy right here,

  533. we've been through Helen back probably a couple of times,

  534. and I trust him. I trust him more than and

  535. there's been in this last season. I've had to trust

  536. him and our elder's Kylie, my wife. I've had to

  537. trust people. I've had to trust him in the last

  538. couple of years more than I trusted myself in certain seasons.

  539. And I would not have been able to navigate the

  540. last couple of years without amazing people around me. They're

  541. my heroes, Derek and Kylie. They're my heroes, Sean, Sarah,

  542. they're my heroes, our team. There are no long rangers

  543. in the Kingdom. We need each other. And I want

  544. to encourage you and warn you, do not let the

  545. enemy bring division with you in this hour, and don't

  546. blame everything on the enemy either. Sometimes they're blaming the

  547. enemy and it's the Lord and he's over there going

  548. it's not him. I'll finish with this. I remember. Reminded

  549. me of a story of actually John Paul Jackson. He

  550. was over in Europe, I believe, or Scotland or something,

  551. and he was super say, his ankles had swollen up.

  552. He'd had something seriously wrong with him, and he was like, Lord,

  553. if you don't heal me, i am going to the

  554. hospital because he was just in a horrible place. All

  555. of a sudden, this man appears in his room in

  556. the middle of the night. It looked like he was

  557. from Mexico what he said, and he goes, I've come

  558. to heal you. And he laid his hands on him,

  559. and he said he felt like this hot scroll begin

  560. to unfold, going up and going down, and everywhere that

  561. had had unfolded, he was healed, but everywhere else he

  562. could feel the physical pain in his body. And uh

  563. so this was his encounter. The man disappears and John

  564. Paul goes, Lord, thank you so much for sending your

  565. angel to heal me. And he hears the Lord say,

  566. part of me. It wasn't an angel. And John Paul goes, oh, no,

  567. the enemy healed me. I'm gonna die the enemy healed me.

  568. And then he the Lord says it wasn't him. And

  569. then John Paul was like, well, Lord, who was it?

  570. And then he showed him an open vision of this

  571. man way off in the way out in the boondocks

  572. in Mexico, praying and saying, Lord, if you can use

  573. me with whatever time's left in my life, would you

  574. please use me? And when he was there praying, the

  575. Lord had trayed, I know this is a stretching some

  576. of you all, I can feel it. He transported the

  577. Lord transported him from his wherever he was and into

  578. that hotel room to pray for John Paul. And the

  579. Lord told him from here on out that man will

  580. have a part of your fruit, your rewards. So, I know,

  581. talking about the supernatural and angels and demons and deliverance

  582. and all this stuff isn't super popular. And I know

  583. right now the charismatic movements and a stinking boiling pot

  584. of you know, But the reality is the word of

  585. God is the word of God. Don't throw the baby

  586. out with the bathwater. He gave us these gifts to

  587. destroy the works of the evil One, and I plan

  588. on using them, stewarding them and asking for increase, and

  589. I hope and pray that I continue to grow in

  590. my prophetic gifting. And I will promise you this. You

  591. will not see me with my cell phone in front

  592. of me giving you words of knowledge. I'm not kidding.

  593. I will not have a phone in front of me.

  594. I don't care. If it's to write something down, I

  595. won't do it because I want people to know that

  596. when the Lord speaks to me, that oh that it

  597. is legit. And I'm totally fine with getting short, little

  598. words that aren't super detailed. And then that's God's business

  599. how he handles that. You just be willing for him

  600. to speak to you, That's what matters. Well. I trust

  601. that you were blessed by the Lord today and we

  602. look forward to seeing you online next Sunday. In the meantime,

  603. if you would like to learn more about us, about

  604. our School of Ministry or other resources, or you would

  607. go to Cross Kingdom dot or org. We'll see y'all

  608. next week.
