Redemption & Restoration

The plause building update. We have power finally on the property.

Yes, with a meter, we have.

They're trenched all the way from the boxes to where

the first building is going to go. And then this

week they're going to finish trenching to where the tent

and the buildings and everything will be. And then as

well as the other building. We also made a decision

on site prep. We have a subcontractor we chose, and

so site prep on the property is going to start

in about two weeks. And as soon as site prep

will take roughly two weeks. Once that's done, then the

tent will go up. We'll build the wall system, we'll

get all the power put in place for AC and

heat for the tent, and we'll start scheduling things. And

then within about a five day period, we got to

move from here to there, so we'll strip the sound

system out of here, get it over there. Anyways, lots

of lots of moving parts and uh. And in the

midst of all that, I will continue to pastor and

and uh and travel and and yeah, hallelujah, good stuff, y'all.

If you haven't noticed, life is normal is no longer normal.

And I think the word normal is being redefined and

every year has its own unique things to navigate.

But it is not a time for the Church to sit.

Back and and get.

Comfortable, to get put in neutral.

It says that about the Kingdom, that the Kingdom advances

with violence, and the violent take it by force. Now,

to give you a little it doesn't mean go grab

your guns. It's talking about a spiritual force. But what

you need to be doing is you need to be

attacking those areas of your life with intensity, with ferocity where.

The enemy is attacking you.

And I want to tell you that strongholds do not

come down in your own strength. Strongholds come down because

you petition the Lord to take them down.

Because you're not even aware of all your strongholds.

And in fact, you're probably arguing with the people around

you when they bring up a stronghold because you don't

see it. You're blinded to it, hence why it's a stronghold.

And I just this last during worship in the second service,

there's a we've just got to get a fire. And

I know we've been talking a lot about the baptism

of fire, the fire, purity power zeal And, but it's true.

Time is short and we need to we need to

live a life that leaves it all out on the field.

And yesterday I went on a prayer walk and uh,

because I'm trying to stick to my new Year's resolution

of getting back to my old fighting weight. And uh,

I'm down about ten pounds and uh, I still got

some to to go, obviously, because rounds of shape advanced

the Kingdom. So but as I was walking, I was

praying and talking to the Lord.

And you know, it was it.

You know, here we are, what's past seven months, over

seven months since the flood, and they had all these

crews out there cleaning, doing river clean up and planting trees,

and there was there was even a dive and rescue

crew there still diving in the in the river by

the park and h and why I'm looking at all

this stuff cut down. There's stuff still, you know, hanging

in the tree limbs from over seven months ago when.

It was flooded.

And I was just doing a lot of processing and

asking the Lord to if there was anything he wanted

to tell me. You know, you can say you can,

you can petition the Lord to speak to you all

you want, but it doesn't guarantee he's going to talk

to you about what you want. Typically he's going to

talk to you about what you don't want to talk about,

and not talk to you about what you want to

talk about.

Do you ever get that?

And the other golden nugget for you is if the

Lord ask you a question, it's because you don't know

the answer. Even if you think you know the answer,

you don't. So when the Lord asked you a question,

do you know this? Just say no, I don't. It'll

make it much less painful. So, as I was talking

with him the theme of redemption, I heard I'm bringing

redemption in the season. And I know that's kind of

a generic you know, it's not some detailed, you know,

data mining prophetic kind of word. You didn't catch that, Okay,

never mind moving on and and in the midst of

all of that, because remember, this year, prophetically is about

standing in victory. But it's on the battlefield. It's not

in your living room, it's not in your recliner. You're

still in the battlefield and you have to make a

wilful choice to stay there if you want to see victory,

if you want to see things redeemed in this season,

if you want to see things restored in this season

and over the next four and a half hours. I

want to talk to you about redemption and restoration. A

couple of people caught that I'm just joking. We have

a wedding to go to.

People.

Come on, for those of you that don't know Jen

I just blinked, do what say? Say? Say it again?

No, anyways, they're getting married at two o'clock. So yep

yep Ephesians four thirty. Jen, say what Ephesians fourth the Sorry,

I'll behave I promise, just had a lot of caffeine this.

Morning Ephesians four thirty.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God by

whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Yeah, there's a day of redemption coming.

You know, there's so many things going on in the

world right now, But isn't it interesting how we always

keep being drawn back towards Israel Israel, whether good bad,

whether regardless of the government or what you think, or

that's a whole nother that could go on for hours,

and but there's there's all sorts of things coming and happening,

and at the at the end of it all, Jesus

is going to return to the Mount of Olives, and

I promise you he's going to blow up all of

your eschatology. I don't care how flip and clean you think,

or how tight you think your eschatology is. Whether you're

pre pre mid post, Pan, pre Ah or post, doesn't matter.

When he shows up, He's going to show up in

a way that none of us knew. That's why it's

so vitally important that we don't get sidetracked arguing and

getting ticked off at each other over eschatology, because every

one of you in this room, regardless of your end

time's perspective, you have the same marching orders.

You have the same destiny.

You have the same assignment, which is to fulfill the

great commission. You should wake up every day and say Lord,

I want the blood of the enemy on my sword.

And you need to understand how to use your sword.

And you need to understand that the armor of God.

That sword is not a long sword, so you're not

picking a fight from a long distance. That is a

short sword. You are hand to hand combat. It says

we don't wrestle against leuss and blood. That means there

is a wrestling happening right now in your life, and

there are things that the Lord wants to redeem in

your life today. There are things that he wants to

bring restoration. But if you are sound asleep and comfortable

in your soul, you're not even in the fight.

Time is short. The enemy is playing for keeps.

He knows where here his end is, and he wants

to mess you up as much as he can in

the meantime. And you have this beautiful story of redemption

going on in your life right now. I shared this

first service. Every one of you are a part of

a redemption story right now that most of you.

Don't even know. You want to hear it.

So my wife's great great great grandfather, Roland Nichols the

Nickel Cemetery, was one of the original settlers here. He

had he had a land grant and he had land

from the river all the way to close to iten.

You know where his land ends, right where we bought

the twenty five acres, and this church was his land.

He was also one of the last white men killed

by Indians. He was murdered because they wanted to take

his land.

There was a conspiracy you know, conspiracies are not new, y'all.

We could all put on tinfoil hats right now and

uh one the little side note. One Thanksgiving, a bunch

of conspiracy stories popped up at the Thanksgiving dinner table

at my house. No one was paying attention. I like

to have some humor every once in a while. I

sneak out of the dining room. I go into the

pantry and I pull this big old piece of aluminum

foil out, and while they're talking, I craft this amazing

hat and I put this aluminum foil hat on and

I just walk back in all quiet, and I sit

down and I go proceed. I guess you had to

be there anyways. So there's this redemption story happening. This

building alone that you're sitting in was originally a bar

with strippers and a goat, and they it didn't drink

gatorade or water, It drank beer. And so these are

all true stories, and this place was redeemed. In fact,

the pastor that was coming here to preach the night

after the strippers would come, believe it or not, was

Pastor Joe Taylor from Southern Oaks Baptist Church. And one

day after building relationship with John Adams. He was if

y'all have been around here for a while some years

back before he moved and passed away. He used to

ride his horse, but he would be out there like

Vladimir putin no shirt on too many DUIs. He couldn't

drive a car and was on his horse. Now the

handlebar mustache. He was legit character. And Joe kept preaching,

and Joe was taking a lot of heat because you know,

he's going to that neighbor's bar where the strippers are.

And through relationship, one day John came to Joe and says, hey,

having these dancers come, is this uh just causing you

some heat. He's like yeah, He goes all right, it's done,

and literally just stopped like that never brought him back.

Through relationship, Joe kept coming. He was taking the heat

to preach the gospel to the lost. There's a redemption

story right now, every single one of you today. God's

redeeming things. He's restoring things in your life, and you

have a choice. You can accelerate that by saying yes

and allowing him to remove the things that would keep

you from walking in that restoration. The definition of redemption,

the action of regaining or gaining possession of something, an

exchange for payment or clear debt. And there's aspects to

biblical redemption. There's the ransom price that we know about

to buy out or release through payment, often described as

a ransom, where Jesus gave his life to free humanity

from the slavery of sin and the penalty of law. Y'all,

If the Lord didn't do another thing for you right now,

I mean literally, if he just went radio silent and

did nothing else for you, has he done enough?

Well, yeah, you're not going to go to hell. I

would say that's a pretty good exchange.

You give them your life and your mess and you

get imputed righteousness. I think that's anybody want to do

that business deal, and if you have it, you probably should,

right because hell is real, and there is a conscious

torment that is real. You don't disappear. There's no annihilationism.

There's deliverance and freedom. It represents being rescued from the

curse of the law and the power of evil and

the ultimate consequences of death.

Y'all.

Every time we fall back into a works based salvation,

every time we start trying to work to get approval

with the Lord. You're literally putting yourself back under the

spirit of the law, and that brings death. That's why

you stay stuck on the hamster wheel trying to fix yourself.

You can't fix yourself.

You didn't do a thing to get salvation except for

realize that you were lost in your sin, dead and

your trespasses and sin until you said yes to Him

and then you had the divine exchange. But for some reason,

we fall back many times into thinking that we need

to help God with this soso thing.

You all awake, I have a fresh cup.

Holy groans. Restoration. You know I intentionally do bad dad jokes.

That's the whole point. They're dad jokes. They're bad.

You're supposed to laugh because they're bad.

So when I give you a dad joke and you

don't laugh, then that means I have to improve on

how bad my jokes are. You're welcome. Yeah, now you're speaking?

Where are youting? So restoration beyond just removing guilt. Redemption

restores people to their rightful owner, which is the Father,

and adopts him into a family. He took upon himself

our punishment that we deserved. I love the scripture because

you know, we talk a lot about revival, and I

believe in revival, and we desperately need revival because revival proceeds.

Reformation, and we need a reformation, y'all.

I know that we can get excited about things politically

at times, like when it looks like things are going

the right way because there was an executive order signed

or something was passed. But we live in a day,

in an hour where we could in three years, some

idiot could come in I mean that in the most

pastoral way possible and start doing all these executive orders

and we could be living under total tyranny. Y'all understand that, right,

and so don't.

And I've said this, but I feel like I need

to repeat it.

Politics, that's not our salvation.

Stop.

I want to encourage you. If you're waiting for the rapture,

knock it off. He died to put heaven in you,

not for you to wait to get to heaven. And

number two, don't get caught up in the political spin.

If you start looking at people with judgment and condemnation

simply because they're from a different party, you've already been

given over to the influence of a political spirit. And

I've seen it. I've seen people. Get listen. If somebody

gets right with Jesus and they have the mind of Christ,

they're going to vote right.

Period. Are you with me?

It's awful. Quiet Acts three nineteen to twenty one says

repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be

blotted out, so that the times of refreshing may come

from the presence of the Lord.

So there's supposed to be.

A refreshing that comes to you with salvation, and that

he may send Jesus Christ, who has preached to you before,

whom Heaven must receive until what you want to know

when he's coming back. This is when he's coming back.

He Heaven must receive until the times of the restoration

of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth

of his holy prophets since the beginning of the world.

So when's he coming back, Heaven's.

Going to hold on to him until the restoration of

all things.

Do you think you play an order?

Do you think you have something to do in this

restoration process. I'm not saying it's all on you. Listen,

you'll if I am not a postmillennialist, because if it

was all based on us. We are in deep doodo

because we're not that good.

Right.

It's like when I forgot who said this, but you

know somebody preached is or you know, they give a

prophetic word or whatever, and somebody's like, oh man, that

was so good, and you're like, oh, no, it was

all Jesus, and they're like, no, it wasn't that good.

That's that's false humility that we have a lot of times.

Yeah it was all Him. No it wasn't that good.

You're welcome, keeps you humble. But this issue of restoration,

which we're living in the restoration of all things, and

as we're moving through this beautiful story of redemption and

seeing things restored, there are moments where the Lord sovereignly

steps in and gives us what I call a spiritual

B twelve shot called revival. And if you follow acts

to joel to and acts too, you realize that we're

actually living in the consummation of that prophecy, that he's

pouring out his spirit on all flesh. And it goes

on to say until his return. So it's not fulfilled,

it's being fulfilled. And you're actually a part of that

fulfillment right now.

Are you tracking?

So. Restoration is the action of returning something to a

former owner, place, or condition. These biblical aspects of it.

Restoration is the act of bringing something back to its

original and tended state.

Anybody got some things they need restored this morning.

Anybody had some things stolen from them that you'd like back.

It involves repairing damage, healing emotions, physical wounds, and replacing

spiritual emptiness with life abundant life. You know, one of

the pair of doxes in the Kingdom is that no

matter how difficult it gets in the days ahead, which

make no mistake, We're not gonna have a bunch of

snowflake believers that are gonna be a bunch of pansies

with no backbone in the future. Because it's starting to

cost us something to say that we follow Jesus, and

that cost is going to increase. And this is why

I've said that we have got to get well acquainted

with the sufferings of Christ. Listen, y'all, we all don't

get participation trophies at.

The end of this life.

Am I dabbling too deep? You're quiet? Run the race,

That's what Paul said. Some will get there literally just

escaping the flames off their blessed assurance.

And they won't have anything to show.

One of the worst things you could do is live

an amazing, successful American dream life only to stand before

the Lord Jesus and him say, you know what, You

lived a great life, but that's what I called you to.

It demonstrates God's faithfulness, mercy and desire to redeem us creation.

How many people are around us right now that just

one word from the Lord would change their life, and

every one of you have that capacity because you're believers.

You don't need to go line up in a mile

long line.

For a prophet to speak to you. Christ is in

you John sixteen thirteen. He said he will show you

things to come. The prophet should be busy holding the

plumb line of the New Covenant in front of the

people and teaching you how to hear from that grace

that comes from that office means that your grace to

be able to hear his voice better. And I have

been saying for years, and it's pretty loud and clear

at this point that the prophetic movement is in desperate

need of reformation. Anybody paying attention to all the stuff

going on right now, all the all the cleansing and

exposures and some of the I might add pathetic apologies

that just came out in the last couple of days

by one leader that was just very disappointing. The Lord.

The Lord is on the move. He doesn't wink at injustice.

I said this last week. I won't belabor it. And

the old Covenant often would the restoration we would refer

to physical and spiritual restoration of Israel after periods of exile.

And we just a couple of days ago, Tucker Carlson,

he interviewed Mike could be the ambassador of to Israel,

and they interrogated his producers and held them, I'm not

gonna go down that rabbit hole.

Don't worry.

Things don't always Things aren't always as they appear. You

ever noticed that you ever heard deception as deceiving it is?

And it says that there's a deception coming in the

last days that if possible, even the elect would be deceived.

I want to I do on a rabbit trail just

for a moment, which you're used to that I've been

doing a studying up more on AI and how to

really use it correctly, y'all. I built out a complete

business plan with AI in less than ten minutes. In

detailed full business plan and uh to launch a discipleship

app with a subscription and and and it's a great

business plan AI. Now you can cut it loose and

it's proactive. We've got a Dale McNeil. He built an

app called modern Word and it's an amazing app powered

by Grock with proper settings and everything.

But he's also literally got a.

Virtual AI company with virtual employees building out a company

without him, and there and and then he sees what

they're doing the AI. If you don't think that that's

not going to play a role, I mean, you read

Revelation and some of the crazy stuff that is like

described you think Pandora's box has been opened. Hang on tight, folks,

hang on just for a few years. They will release

videos at that point, at that time where you won't

be able to tell if it's real or fake. Right now,

you can still tell, at least the younger. My son

can look at a video that I was like, man,

look at this. He's like, let's say, oh I dude,

and I'm feeling old right, I'm like, what do you mean?

So let me get my glasses, but it's also a

tool that can be used in a good way as well.

And I think it's really important that the Church doesn't

stick their head in the sand in the midst of

this transition, because so many things are being reset and changing.

The economy is going to look completely different. Your degree

is not going to matter at all in five years.

I'm serious, things are like right now in this moment,

things are changing so intensely. I don't think we even

have a clue. We're probably overloaded, to tell you the truth,

because inundated with all of all of the change, there's

so many competing voices right now, and then we wonder

why we have a hard time sitting in quietness and

solitude with the Lord and hear his voice. I don't

know about y'all, but I have been spending more and

more time when I'm driving in my jeep with nothing.

The radio's not on, there's no worship music, it's just

complete silence.

And it really is therapy to your soul. Be still

in noise.

God.

You have to fight for your rest and for your.

Downtime now because we're constant, We're moving at such a

fast pace, and I want to tell you that if

you don't stewart your rest you're gonna end up with

physical issues. You're gonna end up with adrenal fatigue, you're

gonna end up with anxiety. These are all things that

they understand because of the fast pace life we're living,

and it's not slowing down. Wait wait till we get

to where knowledge increases daily. In the New Testament context,

it's restorations focused on spiritual reconciliation of humanity, obviously.

Through the Lord.

Biblical restoration is not just returning to the past. It

often means restoring with more, where the final state is

greater than the original.

We actually see that reality with Job.

Now, no one's going to volunteer to have a life

like Job, But in the end he ended up with

seven times more I believe. But interestingly, it wasn't until

after he prayed for his friends, which I don't know

about y'all, but I think I would rather have hadies

than friends like Job in that season. Galatians four four

and five says this, but when the fullness of time

had come, God sent forth his son, born of woman,

born under the law, to redeem those who were under

the law, so that he might receive adoption as sons.

You know, in the Old Covenant there's a kinsman redeemer, right,

and so you know, you all know the story of

Ruth and Boaz. And you also heard Jensen Franklin weighed

under beau As because bo Az has got some cousins.

You can go watch that. I'm not repeating it. I

will say that that video did take place in John

Hades church though, and he refused to turn around and

look at John's face when he was done. But anyways,

so you have Boas, and there was another guy who

was closer and he had the right to redeem, but

he had to go before the elders and give up

his right to redeem the land, which also came with her.

But they would exchange a sandal. You ever heard of

the Sandal Covenant. There's the Salt Covenant, the Sandal Covenant.

Y'all know where the term we have salt with each

other comes from, because in ancient times, they would carry

a bag of salt, and when they would sit down

and have a meal, each of them would take salt

out of their salt bag, put it in a bowl

and mix it. And that was a part of a friendship.

Covenant and when they were done breaking bread. See we

break bread today with almost anybody, right, we don't think

that much of it, but having a meal to them

meant a whole lot more when it came to covenant friendships.

And when they were done with the salt, they would

each take some of that salt in their pouch, and

so it was a sig that just like you could

not undo that salt, neither could you undo their friendships.

It's the same principle with yeah, because the I'll teach

on covenants again at some point. It's been quite a while,

but the salt covenant and the sandal covenant. And you

also see this whole theme of salt through all the offerings, right,

you see salt, and you're like, well, why, so let

me encourage you. When you're reading the Word, ask the

Lord why why? Contrast, why did you do this and

not this?

Why? Why is it that? Why?

Why is everything covered with blue in the temple? Why

is it all covered with blue cloth? And that's going

to position you through study for revelation. Contrast, ask questions, engage,

and expect to engage the tangible presence of Jesus. When

you're reading the word. Don't read the word just to

read the word knowledge puffs up. There's tons of theologians

in the United States that can tell you everything about

the scriptures and theologies, and if the Holy Spirit started moving,

they wouldn't have a clue. I'm thankful that I'm one

year short of my bachelor's degree in Biblical studies because

I had to get deprogrammed from the previous three years

to get where I'm at. You may not be as

happy about that, but I am so. I was heading

someplace and it was not straight to the scene of

I forgot. But anyways, but bo as he was the

kinsman redeemer, Well, it's a picture of Jesus. He redeems everything, spirit, soul,

and body. Y'all you understand there with this issue of redemption,

there are things that have been stolen out of your bloodline,

and there are generational and some of your people in

some of your lives that you can actually go back

and say, hey, you know what, my grandfather had this,

my dad had this stronghold. My grandfather had this stronghold,

his dad had this stronghold. And it's because something happened

that opened a spiritual door on your bloodline. And the

beautiful thing is you can break this stuff and actually

see restoration, and you can actually ask the Lord.

To give back what the enemy has stolen.

In the Old Covenant, you see redemption of lands and

houses and property. You even see the redemption or the

price of the first born. It was like a tax

that went to the temple, all of these ways of God.

This is what Moses said. He said, show me your

ways that I would what that I would know you.

And I always find it fascinating because the Lord said

this on the cusp of seeing Egypt just a mudhole

stomped in it.

I mean he judged.

The Lord judged all their idols, all their gods, and

he sees them.

I mean, he literally walks on dry land.

Could you I don't you know, we don't know, But

it's like I guess, it's like a wall of water.

You can just see the fish coming up and looking

at all of Israel and roughly eight hundred thousand a

million people somewhere around it. There walking walking across dry land.

Moses saw all of that, and then he turns around

in Exodus thirty three, I believe and says, show me

your ways that I can know you. How do you

experience his ways? It's by walking with him. You experience

his ways by walking with him, and a life surrendered

and not losing your wonder, protecting that childlike faith. Some

of you are still trying to recover that because of

all the things that you've gone through in life, but

that can be redeemed. There are so many things I

got to do with my kids growing up that I

wish i'd done. I'll never forget what I took col

and Micah to Disney World in Florida. Now. I always

wanted to go when I was a kid, never got

to go. You know, my family didn't have the money.

We never got to go. And then there I was

with my family. I have that Bethel song, never lose

your Wonder. It's just like playing through my head right now.

But you don't have to repeat the sins of your

father's You don't have to live in the same strongholds

and the same poverty and the same thought process as

the previous generation, because you're a new creation. When he

said it's finished, he didn't mean in a few years.

It's finished, and he's writing a redemption story of your

life today. There's things that he has redeemed in your life.

There are things he's redeeming in your life right now,

and there are things he wants to redeem if you'll

just let go of the grip. There are things that

he wants to restore in your life to its original

intent or better, you just gotta let him do it.

We hold on to things so tightly because we are

convinced that if we.

Let it go, we're not going to have what we need.

And that's exactly the way an orphan thinks, not understanding

that we're literally violating the principle of the kingdom. Freely

you've been given freely, or freely you receive, you freely give.

And when we start living from our inheritance, which is

sons and daughters of God, then all of a sudden

we can start living our lives with our hands open

and understand, the more I get, the more I can give.

The more I give, the more I can get, And

you can open up that aspect of the abundant life

that so many people never see because they're so worried

about protecting what they have because somebody else is going

to take it. That's called jealousy, by the way, it is.

It's the fear of somebody is going to take what

you got. We've seen it in the church. We've seen

it with leaders. I've experienced it. The annoying comes on

your life and all of a sudden, you're a threat

when you should be celebrated. And I I see Micah,

there'll be seven teen years old next month, literally playing

every instrument on this stage, and I celebrate that. But

I won't just celebrate Micah, my son. I celebrate anybody

that's moving in God's will for their life and seeing

the hand of the Lord on them. You know, Paul

that was he had a father's heart. He said, you

have many instructors in Christ, but not many fathers, And

he talked about how it would it just blessed him

to see his kids walking with the Lord. I don't

claim to be some big spiritual father or anything, but

as a pastor, as a shepherd in the kingdom, when

I when I see people in our community get breakthrough, man,

I celebrate with them. It blesses me when I see

people have redemption and restoration happens, and we celebate break

Every Tuesday morning when we meet is a staff meeting.

We give prayer, request and praise and praises every Tuesday,

and our staff meetings last for about two and a

half hours. And I don't know how much of that's

actually business, but there's a whole lot of relationship and equity,

relational equity being built. And our staff loves every Tuesday morning.

And I don't that's priceless to me as a leader

running a ministry that our team loves to get together

every week because it's family. It's family, it's a legitimate family.

So what is he What is he trying to redeem

in your life this morning? Maybe you had something stolen

in this last season, just was taken, it was not okay.

Well, guess what.

You can petition the Lord for justice. His throne is

righteousness and justice. You petition him for justice. You say, Lord,

this was in justice. Lord, I want justice in this situation. Now,

if you were the knucklehead that caused the sin, you

do not want the justice of God? Are you with me?

You go, Lord, I want mercy.

I never should have done that. But if you were

sinned against, you can say, Lord, I want justice. Now.

He may not give it the way you want it.

He's not going to come with the person's head on

a platter and say, here you go, because he's writing

a redemption story in their life too. I remember some

years ago I was with the Lord praying and I

was upset that he didn't tell me about a certain

relationship I had. Why didn't you warn me? Why didn't

you tell me? Lord? I was legitimately perturbed and and

I felt justified. You ever you ever get in one

of those those moments you have justified with this attitude,

I was like, why, Lord, And you ever asked the

Lord why any answers? And you wish you never asked

him why. It was also one of those moments and

I was like, why, why did you do this? And

the Lord comes back and he said one thing that

was more than one word, but he said, would you

have loved him? Remember when I said, when the Lord

asked you a question, normally you don't know the answer.

I knew the answer in that moment, and I had

to answer the Lord back, No, I never would have

let this person that close. I never would have let

this person with that influence ever. And the Lord's next

answer to me was about this person that they have

a life, that they have a destiny to live to see.

We can get so self focused that we think our

destiny is all about us and our needs and our

desires and our goals and what we think should happen

in life. But it's not. Our destiny is like quantum physics.

We're entangled with each other, and you're entangled, whether you

want to be or not. And if they know the Lord,

we're all gonna spend eternity with each other, right, whether

we want to or not. You may ask for a

duplex on the other side of heaven and give the

Lord a list of people that you would prefer. I mean,

there's gonna be denominations of people that you probably don't

think are saved that are gonna be there because they

know Jesus. You know, when I came from a different denomination,

I would not tell you that we were the only ones, right,

but I pretty much believed it, Like, yeah, they're okay,

but they're not you know, fill in the blank of

my previous label. So I'm gonna start landing the plane

and we're gonna get out of here. One Corinthians one

point thirty, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness, sanctification,

and redemption y'all, there is a story of redemption that's

written from Genesis to Revelation. You have creation in the Fall, eternity,

past prehistory. You've got promises in the patriarchs. From two

thousand to fifteen hundred BC. This is where God's covenant

with Abraham initiates the redemptive line, and Genesis twelve three says,

in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

Blessing and redemption extended to all nations through Abraham's offspring.

Ultimately Christ. Listen.

It says, there's one new Man.

There's neither Jew nor Greek, nor Barbarian, nor Scythian, or

whatever else you want to throw in there, but we're

all in Christ. There's one new Man. And that's when

Abraham was given this promise. He was given the promise

of all nations, not just one nation. And then we

see Genesis fifteen the Covenant of Grace, Genesis twenty two

the sacrifice of Isaac that foreshadows substitutionary atonement an exodus

in the law. We see redemption from slavery in fourteen

forty six BC. From fourteen hundred to ten fifty BC,

we see the wilderness and conquest and judges, which, by

the way, you understand that when Israel asked for a king,

it was never God's desire that they had an earthly king,

but they wanted to be like all the other nations.

And if you remember when Saul was annointed King Samuel,

he's talking to all of Israel and he goes, you

need to see how much this displeased the Lord for

what you asked for. And all of a sudden, you know,

thunder and lightning and the weather's you know, and they're

all like, oh, we're wrong, we're wrong. But then they're like,

give us the king. We want to be like all

the other nations. But Jesus the Lord was going to

be their king. He's our king. That means you live

in a monarchy, not a democracy.

We don't get to vote.

There's only one Jesus. He's not Republican or Democrat or

libertarian or whatever else. And what he says goes, we

don't get to vote on Hey, next Friday is a Sunday.

We all get to sin.

It's going to be great.

That is a joke, people, And no one better edit

that vige to make me look like I was telling

people to sin either watching you no, piper, you don't

behave In ten fifty to five eighty six BC, we

see the monarchy in the Prophets, and then in four

BC to a d thirty to thirty three it's the incarnation,

his life, death and resurrection of Jesus. And from there

until today we're in the church age. This is where

we're at and we're living this line of redemption and

things are being redeemed right now. Things are being redeemed

in your life that you're not even aware of in

this moment, because with sanctification, there's redemption. With sanctification, there's restoration.

What if you actually get laser focused on what God

is doing rather than what he's not doing. If you

focus on what he's not doing, you're gonna you're gonna

till a ground and start sowing seeds of unbelief, and

therefore you'll have a harvest of unbelief in the future.

But if you get comfortable with living in the tension

of mystery, I need more sound effects like that. Apparently

Dirder he's coming. Hey, I'm gonna have fun up here,

whether you want me to or not. But no, seriously,

as we close here this morning, I just want to

encourage you. Ask the Lord, say, Lord, what do.

You want to redeem in my life? Right now?

Lord? Is there something that's been stolen out of my

bloodline that I'm completely oblivious of and I need revelation

to it?

Lord?

Was there a calling that my bloodline laid down that

you want me to pick up and fulfill? Because the

Lord doesn't think just singular linear are one generation. There

are five generations on planet Earth at all times, and

so when Revival hits, guess what Revival's hitting five generations?

What would it be like if we actually start having

men and women grow into that sage and people start

once again having honor for the elders, and we teach

that to the younger generation and then they and then

all of a sudden, the elders are teaching the younger

generation and the younger generation, Hey, talk to me, show

me how not to be stupid, because proverb says, don't

be stupid, and I don't want to be stupid, I said,

first service, there's some other words that used to be

in King James that you can't use now, other terminologies

for like donkeys and things of that nature. Okay, kids,

I guess I'll stop if I can get the prayer

team to come up. I mean, don't move too quick, guys,

just playing. If you're on the prayer team, that means bueller,

come forward. So the invitation this morning is what's the

Lord speaking to you about redemption? Maybe something came up

or restoration. He wants to restore something. Just because you

lost something in the previous season doesn't mean it's supposed

to remain lost. Lost. Just because you tried something in

previous seasons and it and it failed doesn't mean that

he's not the God of resurrection and that he can't

do a new thing. Because I've said this before, go

study when it says, behold, I do a new thing,

he actually takes an old thing and makes it new.

So maybe there's something in the in the vein of

restoration this morning that the Lord actually wants to take

that you thought was dead and make it new again.

Maybe there's Maybe it's like the Disciples where Lord, we've

been fishing all night, but at your word, we'll cast

And what did he say, cast back there again? We

did it all night, cast there, but go deeper. And

maybe that's you in this season. Maybe the lord's telling

you to go do something you've already been doing, but

he's telling you to go deeper, and you're about to

hit an abundance of harvest that you never dreamed of.

So, Father, I thank you for your love.

Lord, I thank you for this beautiful story of redemption

because of Jesus. Lord, I thank you that you are

redeeming things in the season of our life.

Lord that we hadn't even dreamed of.

Lord, you're restoring our souls Psalms twenty three. You lead

us besides still waters. Lord, You've set a table before

us in the presence of our enemy, and you invite

us to come and dine and see the victory of

the Lord. The Lord our banner, and the banner over

us is love. The banner over us in this season,

Lord is stand in victory and see the salvation of

the Lord. So, Father, again, we asked that you would

make a name for yourself among us, that we would

be able to live lives Lord that would cause Heaven

to write books of remembrance because of our great exploits,

or that we would live such radical, laid down lives

for you, that people would literally join us because of

mere intrigue, like when it says in Daniel eleven that

we would but those who know their God will do

great exploits. So Lord, touch us this morning, fan fresh

the flame of our hearts for you. Stir us up,

Lord this morning to good works. And I pray that

we would just have an outrageous passion to be with you,

and that by your love and your light, your presence

and your power, we would be radically transformed into the

image of Jesus, and that we would represent You everywhere

we go. So thank you for the redemption story, and

thank you for all the redemption stories in this room

this morning. And Jesus Mighty name, Amen. If you all
