Lamb Church. Wow, you may be seated. What a tremendous

honor it is to be here tonight. I just want to

say it's been a long time since I've been in

a room like this. And I miss it. My assignment

takes me into a lot of different environments.

But man, there's so much hunger in this room.

And I can tell you that God can do anything with

hunger. I've been in stadiums full of people

without a drop of the presence of God because

there was no hunger. But then I walk into a Saturday

night service with a hungry group of radicals

and I feel moved. These are the kind of services

as a 17 year old kid. that I grew up in. These

fires of revival and the devotion in the room,

it is truly sacred. And I think that it's because

of your heart that God meets with you like he

does right now. But I also believe it's a pure

reflection of quality leadership with Pastor

Daniel and the whole team here. Come on, one

more time, can you thank God for my friend Pastor

Daniel and his life? I know we don't celebrate

a man, but we are called to honor our leaders.

And just hearing how you have stewarded your

leadership in some of the high points and the

valleys. And I really sense that the man and

the message are the same. And I want to honor

you. Thank you so much for carrying what you

carry And I'm looking forward to being able to

say man I remember burning lamp when it was just

Saturday night Because I can sense it's gonna

be not just Sunday It's not just going to be

in America. I can't wait to say, oh, that's that

one campus from Burning Lamp in this nation or

in that city. They have a delegation going to

this palace or going to this boardroom. And I

believe that's what's being birthed here tonight.

And so I did not come alone. I brought my closest

ministry friend that I've had for 21 years. His

name is Pastor Bondu from Sri Lanka. Pastor,

would you stand up please and wave it to the

people? I'll be honest with you, he is a definite

general in his nation. He leads the pastors association

with hundreds of pastors looking to him for leadership.

He does not carry himself that way. He's more

proud to just be married to his wife, Angel,

and a happy father to his two daughters. And

now a grandfather to his grandson, Caleb. They

live in Toronto. But he's wearing a jacket. because

he truly is cold, not trying to be trendy, he

is truly cold. But then I have two of my kids

here tonight. My two oldest, would you guys stand

up? This is my son Elisha. This is my daughter

Jasmine. And then we have a friend of ours, his

name is Braden. Braden, would you wave at everybody?

Say hi, this is Braden. So thank you guys for

bringing us. into your home and into your family

tonight. But I came with the Word. And I don't

do no quiet church. I may not speak Spanish,

but I am too Hispanic for a quiet church. And

I believe a quiet church is a dead church. Because

I believe the Word of God deserves a response.

Hello. So you better not go quiet on me. Or you're

going to see this half -breed Mexican with a

mic get real insane. And I will throw it at myself.

I need you to talk back to me tonight. Can you

do that? Listen, if you like your church quiet,

you do not want to go to heaven. Because there's

going to be one Mexican making as much carne

asada as possible. And worshiping as loud as

possible. So we might as well have heaven on

earth in here tonight. Are you with me? Can you

talk back to me? Somebody shout yes. Say come

on somebody. Say some old come body. I don't

know how to spell that. That's a big word like

mayonnaise. I don't know how to spell that one

either. But are you ready for the word church?

Burning lamp, I said are you ready for the word?

I believe it. Do me a favor turn on your Bible

and go to Matthew 14, Matthew the 14th chapter

and for the sake of time Find Mark chapter 6.

Mark 6 · chapter mention

We're going to begin eating tonight in Matthew

14, but we are going to snack on something in

Mark chapter 6. We're going to read about the

Mark 6 · chapter mention

same encounter but from two different locations.

And I'm only going to pull one verse out of Mark's

gospel. Because I feel like he adds something

extra that would benefit us tonight. In Matthew

14, Jesus has just finished feeding the 5 ,000.

And how many of you know this is a miracle that's

impossible? We serve a God that can do the impossible.

He is not bound by stats, facts, and history.

The odds don't apply to God, so therefore they

don't apply to us either. So He does the impossible.

And how many of you know when God gives you a

breakthrough, He's not done. He is now moving

you in from glory to glory. Victory to victory.

You're going to go from one victory to the next

one. I know a lot of people that want victory,

but they don't want to go through a battle to

get one. And this is why it's so important that

you recognize that the disciples see this miracle.

They distribute this miracle. And God being a

wise master builder Immediately puts them in

another lesson, in another challenge, in another

moment, where they can only live in risk. Now

have you know, God is very intentional with everything

about your life. If God is doing something, He

is doing something on purpose. And if God is

doing nothing, He is doing nothing on purpose.

So whether he's doing something or doing nothing,

he's doing it all on purpose. So whether he's

active or inactive, we ought to not lose our

faith or our heart. And so here he finished feeding

the 5 ,000, and now he is about to do something

intentional and unusual. Would you read verse

22? Matthew 14, verse 22 through 24, please.

verse 22 through 24, please. Now watch this.

It says immediately, after feeding the 5 ,000,

Jesus makes them get in a boat. While he sends

the multitudes away, but he gives them a prophetic

word. You are going to go to the other side.

He's not saying you might make it to the other

side. He's not saying if you behave correctly,

you'll make it to the other side. He is saying,

I watch over my word to perform it. And I will

do everything in my power to ensure you get to

the other side. I feel a prophetic edge on the

message for this house tonight. There is a other

side to your pain. It's called healing. There's

a other side to your confusion. It's called clarity.

There's a other side to your blurred vision.

It's called prophetic accuracy. But let me help

you out. You can't bring everyone with you to

the other side. He tells the side, you're going

the other side, I'm sending all this crowd away

from you. In other words, when I was in the world,

I could find 10 people to go get drunk and high

with. But I couldn't find one person to go to

church with. When I was in the world, I could

find 20 people to go to the club with. But I

couldn't find one person to pray me through.

To pray me through If that is your story, it's

time to go to the other side. If that is where

you are at, it is time to go to the other side.

You cannot bring everyone with you to the other

side. Listen, you can't bring everything with

you to the other side. We have no business bringing

our failures, our fears, and our insecurities

into our new season. We also have no business

bringing our successes, our wins and our trophies

into our new season. The titles you have now

will not work in the next season. Because I have

watched trophies turn to anchors real quick.

And then we get people stuck in a certain style

or preference of ministry. And they only want

to do things this way because they had a high

point in their life then and they spend their

whole life trying to get back to that point.

I am honored by the fathers and mothers whose

shoulders I get to stand on. But I don't want

an outpouring that happened 40 years ago. I want

the fresh outpouring of the Holy Ghost today.

And the only way I do that is by letting God

get a little wild in my life and prophetically

tell me it's time to go to the other side. Burning

lamp, you're going to the other side. You're

going to the other side of where you've been.

Can I tell you the last 15 years were just practice?

And now you are coming into season. and God seated

so much in you so that it would shake you to

go to the other side and we thank God for Pastor

Carolina who lived a life worthy of standing

in God's presence today. But her life is a seed

to make sure that you go to the other side. Can

we thank God for what He's done in Burning Lamb

up to this point? That there is blessing not

curses in this church. That there is breakthrough

not strongholds in this church. going to the

other side. But then he says, he says, I'm going

to send the multitudes away. Then he goes and

prays. And it says, and the disciples get in

the boat. And in verse 24 it says, and now the

boat is in the middle of the sea. What is in

the middle of the sea? Talk to me. The boat.

What? Where is the boat? It is in the... Middle.

I need you to remember that. Let's pray. Holy

Spirit, I ask for the spirit of wisdom and revelation

in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. I speak to

this atmosphere and I thank you, God. It's full

of faith and it's full of hope and it's full

of peace and it's full of joy. And I come against

every limit, every restriction. every barrier

and every lie. I declare every demonic harassment

is cancelled right now. And I call your men and

women into their season. I call them into strength.

And I call them into their rhythm. And I establish

them in your word. And I establish them in your

presence. In the mighty name of Jesus. And everyone

shout it. Amen. Amen. Amen. I want to call this

message born for the storm. Born for the storm.

You do realize you were born for greatness. You

were born for destiny. You were born to be loved.

You were born to be blessed. were born to have

victory in your life. But you were also born

for challenges. And there are certain giants

you are assigned to take down. And there are

strongholds that your anointing will tear down.

And you have to recognize that you weren't just

born for the good days. You weren't just born

for the mountaintops. You were born for every

day. You were born for good weather and bad weather.

You were born for the expected and the unexpected.

And because God builds His people like this,

we should not feel overwhelmed by challenges.

We should feel activated by opposition. We should

feel triggered by resistance. I am not responding

to earth, I am responding to heaven with my life.

God is so good, he knows how to create the right

circumstances that will squeeze you and strengthen

you so that you will take risks. One time we

were hosting this massive conference. It was

coming out on one of the Christian TV stations.

And I asked the founder, I said, how many people

does this conference reach? He said, when we

put this on the channel, it'll reach 700 million

homes. That's a billion people on planet Earth.

I was like, dang, that's some reach. So I remember,

you know, like I had our whole team, we had to

be dialed and on point. The week long conference.

And in the middle of the conference, one of my

daughters comes to me and says, Dad, I miss you.

I have four kids. I have two daughters, two sons.

One of my daughters says, Dad, I miss you. I

said, baby, I miss you too. I said, why don't

you come with me? Be with me all day. At the

end of the night, you end up on TV with me. And

we're going to pray for some people. But listen,

I can't have you be messing around. This 700

million homes is a billion people that are going

to be watching your baby TV. tonight. She said,

Dad, I'm ready. I said, you sure you're ready?

She's like, Dad, I'm so ready. I was ready yesterday.

That's how ready I am. I was like, all right,

bet. So then the next, we're in the car. I said,

now listen, this 700 million homes is a billion

people. So I need you to get something clear

in your heart. She said, dad, chill, I'm ready.

I said, all right, we get in the room behind

the stage, the green room. I said, now listen,

this 700 million homes, a billion people. And

I need you to come strong tonight. She said,

dad, I'm ready. I said, okay. So I remember we

get in the studio, the producer shouts 90 seconds.

I said, now listen, this is 700 million homes.

This is a billion people. A billion with a B.

And I need you to pray with accuracy. She said,

daddy, I'm ready. I said, 60 seconds. I said,

now listen, this is 700 million homes, a billion

people. nervous. You shouldn't be nervous. I'm

not nervous. But you're an astronaut. And you

don't pray no weak prayers up in here. And she

said, Dad, I'm ready. They said, 10 seconds.

I said, hey, you ready? She goes, Dad, I don't

want to do this anymore. Dad, please don't make

me do this. Daddy, please don't make me do this.

Daddy! screaming, shouting. I've got a director,

I've got our PR team, I've got producers, and

she's sitting there crying, Daddy, please don't

make me do it. Now I'm the type of parent Then

if you say you're going to do something, then

you're going to do it. Because my Bible says

let your yes be a yes and your no be a no. And

I don't care how overwhelmed you feel. And you

need a fidget spinner all of a sudden just to

reconnect with the earth. No, trying to grow

up little girl. If you said you're going to do

something, you're going to do it. Daddy, please,

I beg you. And they're counting down. Five, four,

three, two, one. And the light comes on. I said,

hey everybody, thanks for watching. I guarantee

you're going to see something you've never seen

tonight. I said, we just finished a great service.

Man, I've got someone real special with me in

the studio. I have one of my daughters here and

I said, man, hasn't tonight been powerful? And

my daughter goes, oh my gosh, dad, it's been

so good the whole night. This is my favorite

service of the whole week. I said, hey, there's

some people need a touch from heaven. Why don't

you pray for them? She goes, okay. She's like

five, okay? She goes, Father, in the name of

Jesus, I command the peace of heaven. And I said,

whoa, that was strong. And she said, yeah, dad,

that was really powerful. That was a good release.

Somebody totally received it. Somebody totally

got it. I said, hey, thanks for watching. We'll

see you guys tomorrow night. The camera goes

off. And she goes, I can't believe you made me

do that! She was so mad at me, she didn't talk

to me for two days. This is a true story, for

two days. Why, what was going on? She was learning

what we've all had to learn. What I've had to

learn many times is that God, our loving Father,

will not set us up to fail. But He has every

right to stretch us. And He will challenge you.

And He will grow you. And He doesn't care about

how comfortable you are. And He doesn't care

if you had it planned. And He doesn't care if

you have all the money or the training. God has

every right to put a demand on us whenever He

wants. So if that means bring on the giants,

bring on the challenges, bring on the storms.

Baby, you were born for the storm, and you might

as well recognize that God Himself is with you

tonight. you are not orphans you are children

of God and God will watch over your life to make

sure that you perform what he wants you to perform

but if all you ever do is bless God when it's

nice and easy then you have begun to stall your

spiritual growth And you will never rise of past

certain levels Because God is trying to stretch

you and grow you But too many are fighting to

stay the same It's as if our comfort or our normal

has done more of the discipling in our life now

Than his word and his voice But let it be said

at Burning Lamp Church that it didn't matter

the assignment or the giant. What mattered more

to this house is that we were faithful and we

trusted God even when we weren't aware and it

was unexpected. We were born for storms. And

if we're going to be born for storms, let me

give you three things. Number one, walk where

he tells you to walk. Walk exactly where Jesus

tells you to walk. I don't care if you went to

school or you've been trained for it. Do what

he asks you to do. I don't care if you've seen

it done or haven't seen it done. Do what he asked

you to do. I don't care if you've tried 10 times

and failed. Do it again. I don't care how young

or how old. Walk where he tells you to walk.

If you are so outside your qualification, you've

probably hurt God. You probably heard God. I

can't tell you how many times God has asked me

to do something I didn't go to school for. I

was never trained for. I was never built for.

But by God's grace and the move of His Spirit,

I just followed that cloud. And I watched God

perform miracles in my deserts and bring me into

the promised land, the fulfillment of a prophetic

word. And I feel like somebody needs to know

that tonight. That you just need to walk where

he's telling you to walk. My job as a parent

is to create storms in my kids' lives. My job

is to put certain challenges in front of them

just to stretch them enough where they don't

have an idea of what to do. All they have is

a goal or a vision. So one year at Christmas,

I walked into our living room. I said, hey, we're

canceling Christmas. And one of my kids was like,

are we broke? And I was like, you are, I'm not.

And I said, no, I said, mom and I feel you need

a faith financial challenge. So. we want to ask

you, instead of us buying gifts for you, the

money we save for Christmas presents, would you

be willing to pick missionaries or ministries

or pastors to bless? And then we would take pictures

of them and put it in picture frames, and that's

what we unwrap. And so my kid said, okay, we'll

do it. It took some of them seven days to convince,

but yes, they did it. And that's why we did that

Christmas. No presents, just knowing that we

sowed. The next year, around the same time I

walk in the lunar. I said, guys, we're gonna

have Christmas. All my kids were like, oh, thank

God. Oh, thank God. These materialistic kids.

These are materialistic kids. Anybody got one?

You know you got at least one, right? So I remember,

I said, but your birthday's this coming year.

Instead of people buying you birthday presents,

ask people to donate money. to the orphanage

that mom and I just signed the four of you up

to build. We didn't use our names, we used your

names. And you have to raise $38 ,650. Oh, and

you have to do it in 10 months. They were like,

what? So they, they were like, fine, challenge

accepted. All I'm doing is creating storms. And

they got through a couple of birthdays and realized,

I can't, I don't think we're gonna be able to

do it. Well then finally they came to me, and

they said, Dad, They said, you know someone who

designs for all these major artists? All these

icons? He designs for every major designer label

out there? Would you contact him and ask him?

Could he make t -shirts after mom's messages

and your messages? And then we would sell those

and the profit would be given to this orphanage.

I said, that's a dope idea. And my kids... ended

up raising $38 ,650 in six months. And in March

of this year, our family flew to India, did the

building dedication and the prayer service for

25 kids taken off the street who will not be

sex trafficked or put into child labor And it

all started with four kids saying, I'll take

on a storm. I'll take on a giant. I'll take on

the assignment. Walk where he tells you to walk.
