I'm gonna give you a testimony of this what I'm
-
saying One day my husband had just turned to
-
the Lord, he wasn't my husband yet, he came to
-
church, and he saw that someone next to him put
-
a hundred dollar bill in the offering. My husband
-
was passing the oil at that time, as to say he
-
didn't have any money. He lived in a borrowed
-
car. He saw that and he said, wow, he gave $100.
-
That means he won $1 ,000. And he said, Lord,
-
if you allow me to get $1 ,000, The next week,
-
I'll bring you $100. And what do you think? And
-
guess what? He won $1 ,000 that week. The next
-
week? And he was so happy, he wanted everybody
-
to see he had $100, and he placed it in the basket.
-
And he says, Lord, wow, if you give me $10 ,000,
-
I'll give you $1 ,000. And that's $1 ,000 a week.
-
And my husband did it. He would get $10 ,000
-
a week. And for a month. He was happy giving
-
his $1 ,000. He was giving $4 ,000 a month. But
-
when the one month mark came, he said, $4 ,000
-
is a lot of money. I ran out two offices. I'm
-
just going to give up. $1 ,500 and then I'll
-
keep the $3 ,000 so I can invest. He gets his
-
first million dollars, 29 years old, but a year
-
later, he loses it all. And he went to go live
-
on the streets again. And that's where I met
-
my husband. Before he lost everything. the lord
-
gave it to me and the day of his birthday he
-
said tell him that because he didn't obey me
-
and because he was dishonest and because he lied
-
i'm going to take everything away and i said
-
no god you told him that poor guy i can't do
-
that I called her on the phone, it was 11 at
-
night, I was driving and I said, I thought he
-
was married, but he was separated. I said, the
-
wife answered me and was going to say, first
-
of all, what imprudence to speak at this time,
-
sir, it's your fault. So I'm driving home and
-
then I'm so nervous. I have to call him and I
-
have to tell him but at that time He was separated
-
because he was married at one point So I was
-
nervous and I thought maybe his wife is gonna
-
call answer She's gonna be like, why are you
-
calling him at this time? Cuz it was already
-
11 p .m So I just went ahead and did the call
-
And I barely even knew him Imagine barely knowing
-
someone and going up to them on their birthday
-
and saying, the Lord's gonna take everything
-
away. After five hours of praying, the Lord said,
-
yes, it was me, go tell him, go do what I've
-
asked you to do. And at that point, I didn't
-
know that everything was, that he had hidden
-
the $3 ,000. So he ended up losing everything.
-
can be trusted with very little can also be trusted
-
with much and whomever is dishonest with very
-
little will also be dishonest with much. So my
-
husband had to work in his character because
-
he was dishonest. The Lord couldn't trust him.
-
That's why the Lord sent me to his life. So this
-
is an example of the many ways you can be dishonest.
-
But your tithing, the tithing is not negotiable.
-
I'm the leader of Alavanza. No, I am. Wow. Okay,
-
let's see your radiography. Okay. Let's go for
-
the radiography. When we get to donations, I
-
put donations in the radiography. Donations.
-
And the first thing I have is church. Church.
-
Excuse me. The first thing I have is church,
-
but it's not the first question I ask. The first
-
question I ask is, to whom... So whenever I have
-
people come into my office and they tell me oh
-
I'm a leader of worship I'm the leader of intercession
-
and I tell them okay well come on let's look
-
at your x -ray and see what's going on so when
-
I start looking at that I kind of note and I
-
write okay the church and then I ask them what
-
are you where are you donating your money to?
-
To your parents? They get $30 ,000 a month, and
-
then they tell me, I send my mom $30 a week.
-
$120 a month? Are your parents okay economically?
-
Oh no, sister, you know, between my brothers
-
and I, we all take turns, but no one wants to
-
help me anymore. Alright, let's go to the Ten
-
Commandments. You will honor your mother and
-
your father in all that you do so you may have
-
a long life. When they come into my office, I'm
-
not acting all spiritual. I don't speak to them
-
about the Bible. I just ask the questions. So
-
if they're not saving, If they're saving for
-
mom and dad, then that person no longer qualifies.
-
I know that there's a lot of work to do. I know
-
then I have to send them to Pastor Daniel. Because
-
now there's things that they have to work out.
-
The next question. Or you're a leader at the
-
church, okay, and how much are you giving to
-
the church? $40? Oh, no sister we give 25. A
-
day? Glory to God, hallelujah sister. I see this
-
90 % of the time. I've seen more than 2 ,000
-
people in my office. And I've seen this more
-
than 90 % all the time. If someone tells me I'm
-
the leader of their church and they say, sister,
-
I don't tie, I close my laptop, and I tell them,
-
I can't bless something that you are cursing.
-
You know the scriptures. Some, they're like this,
-
and they say, okay, I need your help. And then
-
they say, okay, and others just leave. But I
-
don't care. I'm not there for you to love me.
-
I'm there to help you. And if I don't tell you
-
the truth, I can't help you. But here's another
-
principle. And the principle we're going to repeat
-
again is in the book of Psalms. It says the earth
-
and all its fullness, everything that's in it,
-
belongs to who? Belongs to who? To God. So the
-
money that you have is not yours. The Jewish
-
have this principle and that's why they don't
-
have an issue with giving. They've never had
-
an issue with giving. And God didn't ask them
-
for the 10. God doesn't only ask him for 10%,
-
he asks him for more. Because God sends you and
-
he wants to prosper you. He wants to prosper
-
you because he wants to use you as a blessing
-
to bless others. You're gonna keep it and you're
-
gonna use it for things that are going to destroy
-
you. That's the truth. So the Jewish people have
-
understood this and I want to study that with
-
them how they think. They understand that everything
-
they have, nothing belongs to them. and that
-
they're stewards and that the Lord is watching
-
them 24 hours a day. What are you doing with
-
your money? What are you spending it on? For
-
example, last week a woman came. She gets $3
-
,000 a week. $3 ,000 a month. And she spends
-
$1 ,500 if she's filled in debt. Why? Because
-
she's spending more than what she can make, and
-
you can say, oh, that's not me. And maybe you're
-
right. When I go see her extra, she works three
-
days a week, and she cleans houses. But four
-
days out of the week, she eats out. And she says,
-
sister, sister. I make sure that I spend more
-
than $40 a day. So multiply four times four because
-
she eats out four days, four times four. That's
-
16, that's 160 times four. That's $480 that she's
-
throwing to the trash. Monthly, does she qualify
-
for more? No. And then she tells me, I have the
-
Sam's card and I'm very careful with it. I only
-
spend 500 each time I go. And I go three times
-
a month. I spend 1 ,500. And then, so if this
-
week I went to Sam's. The next week I already
-
ran out of milk and ham and I have to go to Walmart
-
and I spend 80. But you only cook three times
-
a week and you spend $500? You don't qualify.
-
You're a bad servant. You have to learn how to
-
manage your finances first. So what are you wasting
-
your money on? It could be that you go to Starbucks
-
two times a week. When you're in the red numbers,
-
you are a bad servant. If you're in green numbers,
-
go buy every day. But right now don't do it,
-
because it's not your money. And he's not gonna
-
marry you like that. You will be single. That
-
is the truth. When you're the bride, nothing
-
of the bridegroom is yours. But when you're the
-
wife, everything of your husband belongs to you.
-
But if you're using wrongly what you have right
-
now as the bride, you think he's No, and he's
-
not gonna marry you. You will stay single. And
-
it's not his fault. It's your fault. I have seven.
-
Proverbios tres nueve. Proverbs three nine. I
-
learned the principles of the kingdom. This is
-
the first scripture I memorized. So first I understood
-
So what's the first thing you're gonna do? Make
-
a budget. What is a budget? You're gonna write
-
down everything you spend money on. Every penny
-
that you spend. Not every dollar, I said every
-
penny. Because you are an accountant. You're
-
taking care of the money. of the private. take
-
away and I'll give it to this person. That's
-
why I have a million. Oh, I'm being rude. But
-
that just kind of came out. It was embarrassing.
-
I'm sorry, it just came to me. I won't say it
-
anymore, but I won't promise that. Maybe it's
-
going to come out. So why did he do that? Because
-
he said, even the little that he has, I'm going
-
to take it away and give it to the person who
-
has more. So if Elon Musk, you don't like him,
-
I'm sorry. Because he has more. Why do you and
-
I don't? Because he knew how to work it better
-
than you and I So you and I aren't there yet
-
So don't get mad at the rich people Because they
-
have more than you You don't have any Because
-
you haven't learned But today you're going to
-
learn So you're going to make a budget And if
-
you don't know how to do one Pastor, we'll do
-
a workshop for that. So I can show you how to.
-
I'll show you how to do a budget, and I'll show
-
you how to get out of debt, and then I'll help
-
you get out and pay your house in 10 years. It
-
works. I show whoever wants it. Because there's
-
a lot of hard -headed people that don't want
-
it. Well fine, I won't show you how. So if you
-
don't know how to do it, Pastor will bring me
-
back again to give you a workshop to show you
-
how to make one. So number one, write down every
-
penny that you spend. And then you'll examine
-
yourself. And see how good or how bad you are.
-
And then we'll start working from there. I'll
-
show you the number one system of administrating
-
your finances. Because it doesn't matter how
-
much you make. You will have enough to save to
-
everyone. Will have enough to save. I did it.
-
When I was a single mom, and I would get $400
-
a week. For many years, I only made $400 a week.
-
And I did that system, and it worked. So let's
-
go with the next one. Proverbs three, nine. And
-
what did I do? I honored the Lord with what I
-
had. Matthew 25. I didn't bury my talent. So
-
my first million was not good luck. It was a
-
result of being obedient to the principles. The
-
biblical principles, even though they didn't
-
have Everything that you have is a God. Remember
-
Psalms 24 -1. Memorize 1 Corinthians 4 -2. It's
-
required for the administrator to be found faithful.
-
I'm gonna show you the word to save. Oh, the
-
word aboda. It's spelled A, B like boy, V like
-
Victor, O, D like dog, A of Abelina, and H like
-
Henry. Abodah. When you go read this word in
-
the scripture, it says three things. And it's
-
literally spelled the same. The word abodah means
-
worship. So when you read in the Bible, everything
-
that has breath, praise the Lord. lives with
-
your emotions, with your tears, with your love,
-
with your laughter. With your tears, with your
-
love, with your laughter. It also means work.
-
So don't be lazy. There's no excuse for you not
-
to work. So if your kids go to school, and you're
-
a housewife taking care of the kids, but they're
-
at school from eight to nine, what did you do
-
in that time? Oh, well, that's why I'm an intercessor.
-
I pray all day. Liar. Because the Lord says that
-
work Yes, maybe your kids are little but once
-
they go to school You should learn something
-
educate yourself get a course learn how to use
-
a computer learn some English learn Spanish.
-
So I will yes So I will I'll see me see that
-
I'll go under do you see how in hennessey? Do
-
you see so long? They'll opus or not. Yeah, but
-
I can laugh I will laugh so I will that means
-
work. So in Genesis when the Lord placed man
-
on earth, he said he I don't know if the Bible
-
talks about retirement, but I've never read that
-
it talks about retirement. Abraham never retired.
-
None of the powerful men, maybe he's out there
-
and he's gone, but I haven't read that he's retired.
-
So stop... I haven't seen or heard of anybody
-
in the Bible. Retired, Sarah was 90 when she
-
had a baby. Stop thinking about retirement at
-
65 years old. You're going to keep working and
-
living. So the other word, so aboda, means to
-
work, means to worship, means service. It's the
-
same word. Has to be a woman with healthy finances.
-
If your finances are not healthy, something is
-
not matching. You need a fix. Proverbios en serio
-
y una y con esta me voy, ¿verdad? Pura ti. Proverbios
-
31 and then I'm done. La mujer virtuosa, the
-
virtuous woman, es empresaria, compra tierras,
-
siembra, vende telas. It's a symbol of prosperity,
-
wisdom, and provision. In Acts, we're going to
-
see Lydia. At 16, she would sell. She would sell.
-
Even though the Bible didn't speak about her
-
money, she was the government. Mary Magdalene
-
was very rich. She would sell fish. She had a
-
market. The principles of the Bible. Number one,
-
being faithful in the little. Don't wait to have
-
a lot of money. Don't bury those connections.
-
Point number three, sow with faith. Psalms 126.
-
The woman that sows with tears, harvests with
-
happiness. The word for you today is what you
-
have for the Lord that you can multiply. Do you
-
have ideas? Abilities? Write them down. Present
-
them to the Lord. Pray. And tell him, what can
-
I do with this Lord? You have something. Ask
-
him, what can I do with this Lord? And I'm gonna
-
finish with this. Isaiah 60 verse five. And I'm
-
gonna declare it over your life. Arise and shine.
-
Because the light has come. The richness of the
-
nations are here. We're going to take this time
-
to ask God for forgiveness. your kingdom lord
-
father thank you thank you bless the father because
-
you are good thank you for your wisdom thank
-
you for your love and your faithfulness thank
-
you because you chose us even though we thought
-
that we didn't qualify but before you we Thank
-
you
