It's good to have you here with us again. May
-
God bless your life and we thank you for connecting
-
with us. After 2020, after COVID, the church
-
has not been the same. The body of Christ has
-
not been the same. The Lord Himself did a hard
-
reset to the entire world. And then that hard
-
reset we needed to realign to what it is that
-
he wanted to do. And I believe that the churches
-
are still trying to find their way. Because there's
-
something in particular that's happening. Holy
-
Spirit is retaking the church. And so he is breaking
-
systems, paradigms, systems that are religious,
-
systems of men. So now he himself is taking initiative
-
in preparation of the bride. And we are in that
-
boat. And so we need to be very aware of what's
-
going on. We need to be understood of what's
-
happening. in our nation, in our city, what's
-
happening globally. The Lord is speaking continually.
-
And I really believe that in this season, He
-
is leading the church to a place of great maturity.
-
And in that place of maturity, we're going to
-
have to face certain things. We're going to have
-
to be real and evaluate our own lives. I believe
-
that we can't continue doing things the way we
-
have. You can't continue in your marriage the
-
way you have for those of you that are married
-
here. Forgot for a moment I'm in a young adults
-
conference. But you can't continue living your
-
life the way that you have. This season demands
-
change. Let me repeat that. This season demands
-
change. And because it demands change, I'll give
-
you wisdom. Do you know what is the fastest way
-
and the less? This painful way for change is
-
when you're yielded to Holy Spirit. The more
-
you learn to yield to Him, the faster you'll
-
see your walk will be. And processes do not become...
-
in your mind processes. Because you won't see
-
it as a desert. You'll see it as a place the
-
Lord is preparing a garden that's going to rise
-
up from within all of the things you're going
-
through. And so there needs to be a shift, a
-
change of perspective. And I believe that's what
-
Holy Spirit has been doing. With our house, that's
-
what He's been doing. say and humbly say that
-
in this last year, by His grace, I've grown more
-
in my personal walk with the Lord than in the
-
last 27 years that I've been walking with the
-
Lord. So today I want to give wisdom towards
-
what the Lord has been doing, because my prayer
-
is that I turn 50. I already turned 50. I turned
-
50. I'm gonna turn 51. But this is my prayer.
-
That you don't have to get to your 50 to see
-
that type of transformation for your own person.
-
That you in your own life, in this walk with
-
the Lord, you can lean in on fathers, and you
-
can grab hold of the wisdom, and apply the truth
-
of God in your life, and that God can fulfill
-
in your life. What a normal person would take
-
10 years, he can do it in two years. Because
-
in one year, he did what he hadn't done or what
-
I haven't experienced in 27 years. So I believe
-
that there's a time of alignment But as we go
-
into this message, I need you to understand that
-
it requires humble hearts Say with me humble
-
hearts Unfortunately, this generation is gifted
-
with a lot of things. It's fortunate, but it's
-
unfortunate at the same time Your greatest strength
-
will be your humility. Seriously, the quicker
-
you learn to go low, and the more that you approach
-
someone or something with humbleness, you'll
-
be able to appropriate of that wisdom. Because
-
there's a people not here, not you guys. It's
-
over there in Great Britain. that there's a lot
-
of pride. Again, it's not you guys. Let me get
-
in the message. So I believe that as a body,
-
even as leaders, Holy Spirit has been leading
-
us to a place where He's unveiling. He's removing
-
the veil. Let's lay a foundation. When Christ
-
died, scripture says that the veil in the temple
-
was ripped. And then Paul writes in 2 Corinthians
2 Corinthians 3 chapter mention
-
chapter 3, in verse 16, J .C. touched it earlier.
-
Go there real quick, 2 Corinthians 3, 16, just
-
to lay a foundation. Because it's going to take...
-
humility to receive this message, but I could
-
assure you that when you leave from this place,
-
something changed in your life. Not because of
-
me, not because of my preaching, but because
-
Holy Spirit is so involved in transforming your
-
life. In John, in 2 Corinthians 3, 3 verse 16
-
says, but when one turns to the Lord, the veil
-
is removed. And verse 17 is key because it says,
-
now the Lord of what he's speaking of in verse
-
16. He says, when one turns to the Lord, the
-
veil is removed. And now the Lord, that same
-
Lord of what he's speaking about. Is the Spirit.
-
Read verse 17. Now the Lord is the Spirit. And
-
where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
-
There's a better translation that actually, it's
-
more tied to the original, and it says where
-
the Spirit is Lord, then there's freedom. When
-
the Spirit is Lord in your life, then you'll
-
find freedom. Then verse 18 says, and we all
-
with unveiled faces, beholding the glory of the
-
Lord are being transformed into the same image
-
from one degree of glory to another, for this
-
comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. I'm going
-
to submit this and then we're going to advance
-
with something else, okay? The Lord is removing
-
the veil from houses. Exposing. But at the same
-
time, He desires to remove veils from your eyes.
-
Pastor, I don't have a veil. Well, culture gives
-
you a veil. Where you come from, your background
-
gives you a veil. The fact that you come from
-
generations that came from religion, religion
-
will always place a veil. And what does the veil
-
do? What is the purpose of a veil? It's to conceal
-
something that's on the other side. That you
-
can't see it correctly. And you can't see it
-
appropriately. This is why we need to understand
-
all the prophets until Jesus were veiled. from
-
one way or another. If you read before in verse...
-
15 verse 14 verse 13, it says that Moses had
-
a veil. 2 Corinthians. And we're not going to
-
go in there because I don't have time. But the
-
veil does not allow you to see the Lord correctly.
-
And again, it requires humble people to understand
-
you have been veiled. tell you that the Holy
-
Spirit to those that He's removing the veil,
-
it's not one veil. It's multiple veils. It's
-
generational. Hundreds of years that man has
-
been veiled one way or another. We see Jesus,
-
we see God through religion. There's a veil.
-
We see God through culture. There's a veil. God
-
wants to rip these things off. That you can truly
-
see God correct. The first time man was able
-
to see God correctly. It was when Jesus was walking
-
here on earth. Jesus was fully unveiled. And
-
people were able to see God correctly. For this
-
reason the religious leaders were upset with
-
Jesus. Because they saw God from a different
-
perspective. So this Jesus appears And he appears
-
unveiled, and he starts to express the mind of
-
God, correcting the religious system. He starts
-
to tell them, you have heard it said, an eye
-
for an eye. But I say, if they slap you on one
-
cheek, give them the other one. You have heard
-
it said that adultery is to sin sexually with
-
another woman's wife. But I say to you that even
-
if you look at a woman with lust, you've already
-
sinned. So he was bringing correction. He was
-
bringing correction to a people that saw God
-
from a specific perspective. For the first time
-
man was able to see how God truly loves. For
-
the first time man was able to see how God was
-
merciful. For the first time man was able to
-
see the compassion of the heart of the Father.
-
Jesus said in John 14, he said, you see me, you
-
see my father. I'm the exact expression and the
-
exact imprint of the father. So as you see me,
-
you will see my father. I don't do anything that
-
my father doesn't tell me to do. The words that
-
I speak, I don't speak of my own. Come on, that's
-
Bible. I speak what my father tells me. So man
-
was able to see God correctly for the first time
-
through a person named Jesus. Jesus was the only
-
one, He is the exclusive person that is given
-
to reveal the Father. And Holy Spirit has been
-
given to us to reveal the Son. And I come to
-
say, Church, there's an unveiling that's coming.
-
He is leading us to a place to remove the veil.
-
What for? 2 Corinthians 3, 18. What for? What
-
is that unveiling needed for? One, to see God
-
correctly. Two, that you can be transformed into
-
the image of God. But we all with unveiled face,
-
beholding in a mirror the glory of the Lord,
-
are being transformed into the same image from
-
glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the
-
Lord. You and I were created, Jesus came, recreated
-
us so that now we can become the image of Himself
-
here on earth. This is the truth. Romans 8 -29.
-
Look at the person next to you and tell them,
-
do not get distracted. The pastor is going to
-
go a little fast. And you don't want to lose
-
what God is going to teach us. Through the life
-
of the pastor. Romans 8 -29. But it says, for
-
those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to
-
what? To be conformed into what? The image of
-
His Son. So you came, God called you, you tended
-
to the call, and the very first thing I need
-
you to understand is that there's an unveiling
-
that's coming to your life now. The Lord wants
-
you to see differently, and it's not because
-
you're here in Burning Lamp. It's what's in His
-
heart. This is what is His desire. He is working
-
a work in the bride. So what does it look like
-
to be unveiled? What happens when you allow Holy
-
Spirit to work Himself in you? Because let me
-
leave a few things clear. Holy Spirit is not
-
here to help you accomplish your dreams. He's
-
not here to make you famous. He's not here for
-
you to obtain the things that you want. He is
-
the helper. But He comes to help you fulfill
-
the purpose. of God in your life. A veil is removed.
-
We need to understand. Holy Spirit is here. And
-
I need to also understand that Jesus Himself,
-
He positioned you that He Himself now is fully
-
in you. Say with me, God is in me. Through Holy
-
Spirit, God is in you. So what does it look like
-
to live unveil? Write this down, number one.
-
As you walk becoming unveiled, the greatest purpose
-
for you is to allow Holy Spirit to conform you
-
into His image. Write this down, please. Your
-
calling. Because some of you say, I don't have
-
a calling. I don't know what my calling is. Can
-
I have Romans 8 .29 again? This is your calling.
-
Isaiah 29 is your calling to be conformed into
-
the image of Christ. Your calling is not to be
-
a pastor. That can be your gift. That can be
-
the ministerial gift. Your calling is not to
-
be an apostle. It's not to be a prophet. It's
-
not to be a teacher or a businessman. You're
-
calling. You are called. You have been called.
-
You have been saved. You have been born again
-
to be made into the image of Jesus Christ. This
-
is the reason why He saved you more than to save
-
souls. God the Father wants to duplicate the
-
image of His Son in all of His sons. So number
-
one, the reason why or the way that we live unveiled
-
is to allow the Lord to establish the image of
-
Christ. to be formed in us. Look at the person
-
next to you and tell them, tell them, you're
-
going to look more like Jesus. And you can tell
-
them, and I'm going to look more like Jesus too.
-
But you got to believe it. Having knowledge of
-
the word, alone, does not transform you into
-
the image of God. Coming to church on Sunday,
-
or on a Saturday, or going to Bible study, or
-
having your studies in a cafe, Walking with a
-
Bible does not transform you into the image of
-
Christ. What transforms you into the image of
-
Christ is when that veil is removed. When you
-
submit your life to the Lordship of Holy Spirit
-
and you learn to walk in the Spirit, not in your
-
strength, but yield it. With your hands off.
-
He has full control. Uzzah touched the ark. And
-
he died on that instant. Holy Spirit told me,
-
it's time to remove your hands. Hands off. It's
-
not your life, it's His life in you, working
-
through you. Please say Amen. So is the image
-
of Christ... being formed in you. When you live
-
an unveiled life, you start to look more like
-
Christ. You stop justifying your bad attitude.
-
You stop justifying your laziness. Your boredom.
-
Life becomes exciting. Because you are being
-
transformed into the image of Jesus. And when
-
people see you, they don't see you. They see
-
the one who is being formed in you. And when
-
people think of Christ, may they think of you.
-
Are we here? I don't know if I'm getting too
-
much in your face, but it's okay. I don't know
-
when was the last time you had a father figure
-
actually shake a few things in you. And I'm not
-
saying I'm your father. So, just to be clear.
-
Number two. What occurs when I live an unveiled
-
life? Number two. We have the blessing of seeing
-
the Lord correctly. I can see his heart for me.
-
I have access to his mind for me. This is not
-
just the word. This now is becoming flesh in
-
me. I'm starting to believe the things that he's
-
spoken of me. When I am unveiled, I'm able to
-
forgive the way Jesus forgives. I'm able to have
-
compassion the way Christ has compassion. I become
-
merciful as Christ is merciful. The fruit is
-
coming out. Number three, when I live unveiled,
-
this is gonna mess with religion, but it's okay.
-
We have access to the same exact life of Christ.
-
To the same life that Jesus had here, I now have
-
access to. I am as loved as He is loved. I am
-
not less loved. I don't have to try to do things
-
to be loved. He loves me. The Father loves me.
-
exactly as he loves Jesus and you should shout
-
an amen because religion is telling you to shut
-
up you got to believe this word John 17 verse
-
23 John 17 verse 23 says I in them and you and
-
me and we're gonna get back to that that they
-
may become perfectly one so that the world may
-
know that you sent me and love them even as you
-
loved me. You are as loved as He is loved. Stop
-
looking for love in the wrong places. There's
-
a man called Jesus who laid His life for you.
-
Let me give you wisdom. The world does not know
-
what love is. Because the world does not know
-
Jesus. Love is found exclusively in the person
-
of Christ. That's why the world can't love. Because
-
they've never been loved. They don't know how
-
to be loved. How can they give something that
-
they themselves don't have? And that's why you
-
can't be yoked to different yokes. Why? Because
-
it is Christ in you, forming His love, establishing
-
His love. You are as loved as Christ is loved.
-
Whether you want to believe it or it's hard for
-
you to believe it in this moment. Read the Word.
-
Holy Spirit, unveil us. That we would know how
-
loved we are. Not only that you would know that
-
you love like He is loved, but Scripture says
-
that you would be perfected in love. That's the
-
working of the Spirit. Because the perfect love
-
of God casts out the... cast out all fear. Something
-
happens when you are walking on velo and you
-
know how loved you are. Anxiety for some reason
-
no longer is a part of you. Depression is no
-
longer a part of you. Suicidal thoughts are no
-
longer a part of you. Identity issues are no
-
longer a part of you. Because you know who you
-
are. You're being established in Christ. You're
-
allowing Holy Spirit to do His work in you. Please
-
say Amen. Pastor, I know I'm loved. Then live
-
like you're loved. Don't throw theology at me.
-
Let me see your fruit. Let me see you walk in
-
love. Pastor, I know love. Then why are you still
-
holding a grudge with your brother? Why are you
-
still upset with your brother? Because love forgives
-
all. Love believes all. Love sustains everything.
-
This generation needs to learn how loved you
-
are. Oh you guys are really quiet.
