  1. Welcome to the Legacy Churches Podcast. We are so glad that you get you

  2. win us today. We praise that God speaks to you through his message and

  3. through his work. Now let's tune into the message. Those who live according

  4. to the flesh have their mindset on what the flesh desires. But those who

  5. live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

  6. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by

  7. the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile

  8. to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do.

  9. So. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

  10. You just go ahead and put your name in there. Paul Strong,

  11. however, are not in the realm of the flesh, but are in the

  12. realm of the Spirit. And in indeed, the Spirit of God lives in

  13. you. And if anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ, they

  14. do not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, then even

  15. though your body is subject to death because of sin, the spirit gives life

  16. because of righteousness. And if the spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the

  17. dead is living in you now. I don't know if you understand what Paul

  18. is giving a clear argument, but he's declaring that the same spirit that lives

  19. in Christ now lives in you. He who raised Christ from the dead will

  20. also give life to your mortal bodies because of his spirit who lives in Paulstrom,

  21. Come on, somebody lives in me. By your heads, Father,

  22. have your way, do what you want to do. We submit this moment

  23. to your lordship and we give you praise in Jesus name. And everybody said,

  24. as you're see to just tell your neighbor backward feels Backwards feels better.

  25. Backwards feel better, Backwards feels better. I'm in a whole series called The

  26. Battle Within talking about that if you can change, not if you can,

  27. but when you change your thoughts, you will change your life, changing your

  28. mind as a man thinketh so is he hmm. The problem is we're trying

  29. to do behavior modification when God wants to give a transformation of our mind,

  30. and so it's hard. Changing our thoughts is a work of the spirit in

  31. our lives, and sometimes backwards feels better. I just gotta be honest.

  32. When my father in law, he is an avid golfer, just throwing it

  33. out there. I like to play golf, haven't played in a while.

  34. Just so on a seed. You want to take your pasture to play.

  35. I'm always so in seed, Come on now, just but I was when

  36. I started playing. No one taught me how to play golf, and many

  37. sports we learned from our own. We learn from people, and sometimes you

  38. can learn the wrong way of doing things. Somebody can teach you the wrong

  39. way. And so I got up there and I hit the ball, and

  40. the ball, I mean it just went true. And that means he just

  41. looped all the way to the right every time I hit it. And I

  42. kept on saying, I don't know why it keeps on going to the right.

  43. I'm not even aiming to the right. The more I aimed to the

  44. left, the more I went to the right. And it was amazing.

  45. And so I when the first time I started playing with my father in law,

  46. He's like, I need to fix your swing. I said, but

  47. I'm hitting the ball. He said, no, you're hitting the ball,

  48. but it's going in the wrong direction. So I got up there and he

  49. said, let me see your swing, and so I started swinging and he

  50. said oh, that's bad, I said. Oh, he said, okay.

  51. So he started changing my stands, he started changing my grip, he

  52. started changing every We're up on the box and I feel like like I feel

  53. like I feel like the hokey poke you know what I'm saying. Put your

  54. left foot. I mean, I'm just going it's all. It's just getting

  55. crazy, and I feel I'm feeling awkward. And he said, I want

  56. you to swing. I said, I can't swing like this. He said,

  57. I promise you just swing like this. And so I took it swing

  58. and the first time I swung, I missed the ball, and the tension

  59. was that I should just go back to the way I used to be doing

  60. it, because backwards feels better. Backwards feels better. And so he said,

  61. no, no, no, I want you to try it again.

  62. And so we went up there again. Now now this time, I'm getting

  63. frustrated because I'm okay shooting ninety five on the front nine. I'm okay,

  64. you know, because my goal is not my score, and my goal is

  65. that I can keep finding my ball. But if you're going to play golf,

  66. and you're going to play it well, you want to get the ball

  67. in the hole with as least as many of strokes as you can. And

  68. so he kept on all so literally the first two box we hit off.

  69. And so the next hole he's like, let me fix your swing. I'm

  70. like, oh. And so for like an hour he kept on working on

  71. my swing until I hit the ball for the very first time straight. He

  72. says, See see how that worked? He said, wow. And in

  73. the process I had to have a change of mind because my body had already

  74. created muscle memory to react and act in the way that I had been taught.

  75. And like this situation, if you don't correct it, your mind will

  76. reject it because it's uncomfortable. And here is the tension that we're dealing with.

  77. Because here's the thing that I need to tell everybody in this room.

  78. If you want to change your life? Does anybody want to change their life?

  79. Anybody want to grow in life and enjoy and in peace and in wholeness

  80. and in harmony. How many we want to grow in your marriage so you're

  81. not fussing and fighting, but you are enjoying intimacy and you're enjoying harmony.

  82. How many people want to go into your workplace knowing that it's not what happens

  83. around you, but it's what's happening on the inside of you. I mean,

  84. I mean all of this. I need you to see that you're the

  85. first thing you're going to learn is that graduate. God graduates you from comfort

  86. to discomfort. And here is the tension that we all have to do.

  87. We all want the product, but we don't want the process. We all

  88. we all want the gains, but we don't want no pains. We all

  89. want to fit in the dress, but we don't want to go through the

  90. process to get into it. Hello, we want God to do a magic

  91. wand just fix it for us. But can I tell you today that if

  92. you're going to grow, and I believe it is God's intention that you grow,

  93. grow in your faith, grow and joy, grow in peace, grow

  94. in the goodness of God, grow in the blessings of God, grow in

  95. your purpose, grow in God's splend Growth is going to equal pain. Oh

  96. man, it's already going off in the wrong direction because we don't like pain.

  97. But pain equals change, and you cannot have change without pain. And

  98. here is the tension that the apostle Paul is laying. He's trying to tell

  99. you that those that are governed by the flesh, are following after what the

  100. flesh desires, which is death and destruction in drama and dis function and heartache

  101. and pain and misery and isolation and depression and destruction. And God says,

  102. I don't want that for your life. I got something better. But sometimes

  103. better feels backwards. Better don't always feel good. Better. It doesn't always

  104. make you feel like you're in in a snugly and warm and life. Sometimes

  105. it feels tough. But I'm telling you today, God wants you to know

  106. that if you're gonna be governed by the spirit, you're gonna have to allow

  107. his spirit to bring transformation in your life because He wants to have you a

  108. full a life full of and me. He wants me to have a life

  109. full of life and peace. So you can't keep on going to old doors

  110. and expect a new past. I'm just trying to tell you today that you're

  111. going to have to learn to go into some new territory and you're gonna have

  112. to allow God to bring you through the transformation cycle. There is a cycle

  113. of transformation that I want to lead you through today. And this is a

  114. two part message. I can't get it all in one are we to be

  115. here till two in the afternoon. And I know how some of y'all are,

  116. But can I tell you today? God wants to bring you through a

  117. transformation. He wants you to be governed by the spirit. Paul is laying

  118. this contrast of life in the spirit and life in your flesh, and he

  119. wants you to understand that there is a transformation process that God wants to do,

  120. and transformation grows. Watch this in cultivation. What are you feeding?

  121. Because whatever you're feeding is growing. Hello, whatever you are feeding is growing

  122. transformation cycle. Go to the Book of Mark, chapter four. We're gonna

  123. get right into it. Mark chapter four, oh Man, verse thirteen.

  124. Then Jesus said to them, don't you understand this parable? I like it

  125. when I hear pages moving. How then will you understand any parable? The

  126. farmer sows the word. Some people are like seed along or like seed along

  127. the path where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it,

  128. Satan comes and takes it away, the word that was sown in them.

  129. Others, like seed sown on rocky places, hear the word and at once

  130. receive it with joy. But since they have no what they have no what

  131. they have, no what they have, no what they have no root.

  132. They last only a short time. And when trouble of persecution comes because of

  133. the word, they quickly fall away. It didn't say if trouble, It

  134. didn't say if persecution. It said, when trouble comes, you fall over

  135. like a So here's the key in here that I need to walk. I'm

  136. gonna walk you through this, and we're gonna go through all four parts.

  137. But the first thing is you got to break the ground. Come on,

  138. in fact, just tell your neighbors, say let him break it in,

  139. let him break it in, let him break through, let him break in.

  140. See, some people are like seed, the Bible says, along the

  141. path where the word is sown, as soon as they hear it, Satan

  142. comes and takes away the word that was sown in them. Because if you

  143. know anything about farming, I grew up in Indiana, Well, the only

  144. thing that you saw was farmland, corn fields. My high school was across

  145. from a cornfield. My middle school was across from a corn Come on,

  146. you don't got to be a prophit now. My elementary was across from a

  147. Come on, somebody, And I was very aware of the cultivation process.

  148. Before they ever planted, they would begin the process of disking the property,

  149. disking the land because they recognized that they had to turn up the ground.

  150. They had to break the ground, because when the soil is not broken,

  151. that it will just lay on top and the seed won't have a place to

  152. penetrate. The soil is the seat of thought, will and emotions today,

  153. and the moment that the seed is scattered, the enemy comes to steal the

  154. seed. He comes to steal the seed. And you say, well,

  155. how is that possible? Because because that any if any seed that has to

  156. have a lodging place. And the problem is is that you have a the

  157. ground is hard. It doesn't have a lodging place. And you say,

  158. well, pastor, what are you trying to say? Am I hard headed?

  159. No? Your ears are closed. I didn't say you're hard headed.

  160. I said your ears are closed. I'm trying to tell you listen that your

  161. ears are closed. You are not listening. You are not You are hearing,

  162. but you are not listening. You are hearing, but you are not

  163. listening. Can I tell you today just like my my wife, she's now

  164. the third grade teacher at Wood Creek Elementary. Big shout out to my wife

  165. because she was she's been teaching, and she told them she got frustrated with

  166. them because you know, little third graders, you know, sometimes they got

  167. ants in their pants. Sometimes they're not paying attention, and they call it

  168. back and now they call it a redirection. You know, they call it

  169. redirecting. We have to redirect the child. And so and so my wife

  170. was telling them, she said, listen, kids, do you know how

  171. do you make good grades? And the kids are kind of like raised a

  172. Handah, you got to be smart. She said, no, you don't

  173. got to be smart. All of you are smart, but you don't have

  174. to be smart. And they started giving out and she goes, no,

  175. She said, no, all you have to do is a listen. I'm

  176. giving you the answers to every test question, to every assessment. But if

  177. you are not listening, you won't make good grades. She started telling that,

  178. and their light bulb went up, Oh, my lord, are you

  179. telling me, Miss Strong that you're giving us the answers to the test that

  180. She said, yes, and how do we make good grades? And they

  181. started saying, we have to listen. So every day that she goes into

  182. class. She says, kids, how do we make good grades? They

  183. said, we have to listen? And can I tell you today? How

  184. are you going to pass the test? How you gonna get through the valley,

  185. How you're gonna get through the trial? How you're gonna get through the

  186. subject matter that God's about to prepare you for. He's already given you the

  187. answers. But are you listening? The answers are already being given, but

  188. you are not paying attention. Are you listening? Are you listening? You

  189. see, here's the problem. The enemy is so good at getting us distracted,

  190. and he rushes us through everything because he doesn't want us to hear the

  191. word of God, because he knows the moment that we hear the word of

  192. God, the word of God will shape and change our life. That's why

  193. you're distracted right now. That's why you're thinking about what you gotta cook after

  194. service. That's why you're thinking about what so and so said to you last

  195. night. You're talking about what the post was on Facebook and what somebody put

  196. a picture on Graham. But can I tell you it's all distractions? Yet

  197. you're getting five minutes of devotion and twenty four hours of distraction, and the

  198. devil has got you sideways on this way and sideways on that way because you

  199. are not listening. Come on, somebody, God wants you to listen.

  200. That's why right now the enemy is getting you all worked up because you feel

  201. rushed. That's why you're laid at church. Because the devil knows if you

  202. ever show up on time, if you ever get here early and get your

  203. heart in the place, that that word will fall not on deaf ears,

  204. not on a hard place, but it'll fall on a place where it'll be

  205. large. And he'll not just hear it to, but you'll receive it to

  206. and it will change your One word from God can change your live. Baby,

  207. where's my health? I'm telling you just tell your neighbors. Say.

  208. It'll change your life. I said, it'll change your life. It'll change

  209. your marriage, it'll change your workplaces, it'll change your at it, it'll

  210. change your drive time. You won't be frustrated, you won't be mad at

  211. traffic. You'll say, go ahead and stop the shoy. The Lord is

  212. my strength to God's got me here and before me, beside me and around

  213. me. In fact, you'll look forward to being in traffic because the longer

  214. you're in traffic, the more you're getting the word of God, the more

  215. you're getting renewed day by day. But here's the problem. You're not listening.

  216. I'm trying to tell you. See, it's surface level. We all

  217. got surface level type of hearing. You know what I'm saying, selective hearing.

  218. Hello, Like when my wife tells me something to do and I'm already

  219. preoccupied. It's not that I did not hear. It's just that I have

  220. selective hearing. I'm more paying attention to the golf game, or the Astros

  221. or the Texans. God bless the Texans. They gonna need a lot of

  222. prayer this year, a lot of prayer. Y'all better start twenty one days

  223. of prayer. That's not my team. Thank you Lord for the coats in

  224. Jesus name. Ah. I'm just trying to tell you he's got selected And

  225. so here's the question. Are you glancing or are you gazing? Here's the

  226. thing, go to James. Can I just break this down for you because

  227. I got one of them teaching an audiens today. He's going to you.

  228. Don't worry about that, Shames. Chapter one. I love this crowd do

  229. not merely verse twenty two. Just go up there and look on the screen.

  230. Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourself. Are you

  231. seeing this? He says, I want you to not. How in the

  232. world can you listen to the word and deceive yourself because you don't do what

  233. it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it

  234. says as like someone who looks at his face in a mirror, and after

  235. looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. He

  236. just glancing. That's what you're doing with the Bible. You just glance in

  237. at him. She's glam What do you say, baby, okay, hold

  238. on, let me get read my Bible. What do you say? Glancing?

  239. See? But whoever looks intently, that means that you got intention to

  240. your understanding into the perfect law that gives freedom and continues in it. Not

  241. forgetting what they heard, but doing it. They will be blessed in what

  242. they do. And here is the key. When we are reading our Bible,

  243. it's not can I read my Bible? But can my Bible read me?

  244. See? You're just glancing at it into But if you start gazing into

  245. it. All of a sudden, it starts looking into you. You're not

  246. looking into it. It starts looking into you, and it starts working inside

  247. of your heart, intently cultivating the word of God. And the Word of

  248. God starts working, and you start seeing that it's not my brother, it's

  249. not my sister, it's not my auntie, it's not my uncle, it's

  250. not my neighbor. In the need of prayer, it's me. Oh God,

  251. God, break the hard places, break the hard places, break the

  252. areas in my life where I see there's no life in them. God break

  253. it up, and lets your word be lodged into my heart. Oh God,

  254. I gaze into the Word of God. I'm doing it with intention,

  255. and it breaks in. Somebody shall break in. But it's not just breaking

  256. in. It's gotta break up. I'm telling you. Breaking in is just

  257. the first part. It didn't just gotta break in. It's gotta break up.

  258. Because before they they sow the seed, the first thing they do is

  259. they dissed the blend and get the ground. But then the second thing is

  260. they gotta plow the ground. And this is what I want you to understand.

  261. You gotta plow in truth. You gotta plow the truth. You gotta

  262. plow that. That's why the Bible says others like seeing so on on rocky

  263. places, hear the word and once they receive it with joy. Since they

  264. have no root, it only lasts a short time. When trouble are person

  265. execution comes, they quickly fall away. Why not because the sea doesn't have

  266. the power, but because it hasn't taken up root. It hasn't taken up

  267. And here is the issues that we're dealing with in our lives, because what

  268. we want to do is we want to deal with branches and not with roots.

  269. Hello. Now, I don't know if you know anything about agriculture,

  270. but if you just look outside at the many plethora of trees that are on

  271. our property, we got a lot of branches just to so on a seed

  272. there, and we got to cut some of them. But this is the

  273. problem. Every time we cut a branch, another branch starts growing. And

  274. here is the problem, because we'll say I'm gonna quit doing this, But

  275. we stop doing this and we pick up something else. Hello, and we're

  276. not We're dealing with symptoms and not sources. If we keep treating the symptoms,

  277. we'll never deal with the source. The problem is not that I've got

  278. an anger issue and i gotta just keep myself in control and I've got to

  279. count myself ten to ten seconds before I lash out. But the real issue

  280. is I've got a control problem, and the problem is with my control is

  281. that I have to have it my way, and I am compulsively controlling situations

  282. because the truth of the matter, my control comes from my pride and I

  283. can't trust God with the situation. That's why I put my hands in every

  284. situation. And that's why I'm angry about this, and that's why I'm angry

  285. about that, is because I'm lacking control and I'm frustrated with my own life,

  286. so I'm protecting myself and anger in everybody else's situation. I want to

  287. say it's anger, but at the end of the day, it's dealing with

  288. my own control. And when I start recognizing that there is strength and surrender

  289. that God wants me to know today that I can trust Him with all my

  290. heart and lean not to my own understanding, I don't got to have my

  291. way in those situations. I can let God have his way and I can

  292. just trust that He is able to take care of it, and I've learned

  293. to keep my hands off of it so God can put his hands on it.

  294. I'm dealing with a source that's I don't have a money problem, because

  295. I've been making more money this year than i have in the last five.

  296. But my problem is is that I don't believe that God is enough. It's

  297. not that money is not enough, it is God's not enough. That's why

  298. I have to overcompensate and overcompensate and over cons and that's why I'm buying this,

  299. and that's why I'm buying that, because I'm trying to find fulfillment.

  300. And God has said, don't you know I'm Jehovah Jirah. Don't you know

  301. I'm el Shadai. Don't you know I'm the one that can satisfy your soul.

  302. Don't you know I'm your portion. Don't you know I'm your strength.

  303. Don't you know I'm your helper, I'm your easier than any situation. And

  304. you keep on looking to other things that when you need to discovery that I'm

  305. the one. I'm trying to tell you today. God wants supply the truth.

  306. He wants supply the truth and in my brokenness, it's not that I

  307. keep on finding the wrong one. It's that I'm attracting the wrong one because

  308. there's some things on the inside of me. You have to break it.

  309. You got not. You don't have to break in. It has to break

  310. up. It has to break up the old mindset. And I gotta recognize

  311. that if I want to go into a deeper level, I've got to break

  312. up shallow living. I gotta plow that. Watch this, watch this,

  313. watches I want you write this down. And don't you worry. You stay

  314. right there, Marvin, because I'm coming for you. Plowing is purposeful because

  315. what happens is when the plow goes down, some things have got to come

  316. up. See if it gets down deep enough. See that's the reason why

  317. the plow because on a surface level, even though you can break ground,

  318. it can get in, but it hadn't been brought up. And so God

  319. what he does is he gets a plow. And if you look at the

  320. tractor's plow, they're like they sometimes they are twelve inches eighteen inches. They

  321. get deep into the ground and what it does is it starts breaking it down

  322. so it can bring the hard places. The rocky place is up. Are

  323. you getting this? And so when the Word of God goes down, there's

  324. something that has to come up. That's why the Bible says in Hebrews chapter

  325. four, verse twelve, the Word of God is alive and active, sharper

  326. than any two edges sword, and it penetrates. It cuts even to dividing

  327. of soul and spirit joints tomorrow. It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the

  328. heart. What happens is when you get the word of when you begin to

  329. plow the truth, it starts bringing conviction, and God begins to convict you

  330. so that you can bring confession. There's some things on the inside that are

  331. not pleasing to God. There's some areas in our life that are causing us

  332. disruption, that are causing us distraction, that are causing us to go into

  333. destruction. And God said, I love you too much for you to go

  334. that way, and I got to break it up so I can bring it

  335. out. I gotta pull it out of your life because the Word of God

  336. has got to be sown into good ground, and conviction becomes our confession.

  337. God convicts us so that we can have confession. So what happens is the

  338. word of God begins to reveal to us the areas of our life that are

  339. not pleasing to Him, so that we can confess them. They got to

  340. come up. They got to come up because God is breaking some things down.

  341. He's breaking down those old mindsets. That is somebody else's issue, and

  342. then somebody else's problem. And now God is saying, it's me, it's

  343. me, and the need of prayer. It's me God. But here's the

  344. thing that is what I love. The plowing when you let God's word plow

  345. in your heart. Plowing is not just purposeful, it's partnership. You'll watching

  346. this. I'm helping you. I'm helping myself. I'm helping myself blow.

  347. See you're plowing. If you plow, you always plow in teams. See,

  348. the oxen were always paired together. So when they put the plow to

  349. think it would go down because straight rows, sow seed. Come on,

  350. Just tell your neighbors says straight rose, sow seed. Go ahead and tell

  351. your other neighbors say, straight row, sow seed, straight rows, that

  352. they have to plow straight rows to sew. Come on, now, straight

  353. rows, see straight rows. So see but here's the thing. When you

  354. put oxen together, they got to be equally yoked. Because what happens is

  355. if you get a yoke on two oxen and one is strong and the other

  356. is weak, they the weak oxen doesn't have the strength of the strong oxen.

  357. So what happens is, instead of sewing straight rows, they start moving

  358. in circles. We call them circles. God calls them cycles because only straight

  359. rows sow seed. And you can't be yoked up. You can't be powing

  360. for abundance yoked up to scarcity. You can't be yoked up. You can't

  361. be sowing freedom yoked up to slavery. Y'all not helping me today. You

  362. can't be yoked up. You can't be sowing sonship yoked up to slavery.

  363. Come on now, you can't be sowing for joy yoked up to depression.

  364. Come on, and you gotta start checking. You gotta be checking who you're

  365. yoked with, because there's something powerful and powing in partnership. There's something about

  366. community. And look at your friends. If you find your friends, you'll

  367. find your future because it's who you're hanging around that's going to be the cultivation

  368. of your soil. And you wonder why your life is jacked up. But

  369. you're hanging around people that are jacked up. Come on, somebody, you're

  370. hanging around people that are depressed. You're hanging around negative nancy. You wonder

  371. why you can't walk in faith every time you take a step the faith of

  372. Neggai, and nancies are that, Well, God can't do that, and

  373. God can do this, And why are you praying for this? And why

  374. ain't you praying for that? And you wonder why you not got any joy,

  375. ain't got no peace because you're yoked up to the wrong people. But

  376. to take you gotta take the yoko and find some people that'll be yoked to

  377. joy and yoke to peace, and yoke to right, and yoke to the

  378. goodness of God, and yoke to the plan of God over your life.

  379. Can I get a witness in this place? I gotta change my yoka.

  380. I gotta change my I'm not even yoked up to my past. I'm really

  381. yoked up to my promise. Somebody shall partnership. There's something powerful about partnership.

  382. There's something powerful about partnership when I understand that it's developed in community.

  383. It's not just my confession, it's my community that's cultivating. It's gonna to

  384. challenge me to move me in the direction that God has for me. But

  385. who are you yoked up to? And what are you yoked up to?

  386. He see, here's here's here's the thing. And I close with this.

  387. I'm telling you, I got to preach, your friend. And he was

  388. telling the story about now that day, he had to fly from Dallas to

  389. Denver because he was preaching that night. And he went to Dallas and if

  390. you want to stay in Dallas, just fly American. And he pulled up

  391. to Dallas with his backs. For some reason or another, he was gonna

  392. check his backs. And when he pulled up to the baggage counter, he

  393. saw a line a mile long, people just packed. Now, if you've

  394. been travelingly, you recognize that you've got to get to the airport now earlier

  395. because you just don't know what's going to happen. And he got there an

  396. hour and a half before the flight. But when he got in the line,

  397. he knew that you have to have your backs checked in forty five minutes

  398. or the bag don't fly. Bottom line line is long, and he gets

  399. in line, and there's a brother up next to him. Got golf backs,

  400. now, you know, and I know golf backs aren't going in unless

  401. they're checked. He says, Man, I don't know if we're gonna make

  402. it. He said, don't worry. I'm platinum. We gonna get there.

  403. He said, all right, then get into the line and looking at

  404. the clock. Who who hour? We're close? Got fifteen minutes, keep

  405. on going. Now we have fifty minutes. Ten more people in front of

  406. us. Oh, Lord, Oh Jesus help us. Lord, Lord,

  407. you know where I'm going. God, open up the gates, Lord,

  408. open up. Get some people. Think forty five minutes, three people have

  409. forty minutes. Gets up to the counter, says, I got my back

  410. to check where you're going Denver? Oh, you're late, all late.

  411. You not see this line? Yeah? I saw the line. That's why

  412. you get here early. But I gotta get these bags because I'm going to

  413. Denver. She said, Baby, you may be going to Denver, but

  414. these bags ain't going nowhere. He got mad. He looked over at his

  415. friend. Hey, he said, can't help you. He don't know what

  416. to do. He's he can check his bags and he's got a flight,

  417. and he's got to get through to TSA. So he does the only thing

  418. logical. He goes, grabs his back, goes into the bathroom, rolls

  419. up into the bathroom, looks around, prays for an open stall, looks

  420. for an open stall, goes into the stall and leaves his bag right there

  421. next to the toilet, Goes out of the stall, closes it, walks

  422. right out the bathroom, walks all the way through TSA, and gets on

  423. the plane and lands in Denver. Someone said, what have into the bags?

  424. The back stayed in Dallas because there was nothing in that bag that was

  425. that valuable that was gonna keep him from his assignment of where he's going.

  426. So you focusing on the back, but you're not focusing on the assignment,

  427. because that's why you're stuck. That's why you're stuck in cycles, because you

  428. keep on going in circles because you're more concerned about what you're holding onto than

  429. what God's calling you towards. And that's the problem. If you never recognize

  430. the assignment to the plan of God, the purpose of God, the purpose

  431. of God over your life, you let go of that small little bag.

  432. That bag can be replaced that situation can be replaced. Can I tell you

  433. God's got something better for you. You gotta let go of what you have

  434. to grab hold of what God has for your life. Baby, God's got

  435. an assignment over your life. Baby, staying with me this morning. Just

  436. tell your neighbors say God, He's got so much more for your life.

  437. You gotta learn to let go and grab hold of what God has for your

  438. life, for your family, for your marriage, for the assignment over your

  439. life. Stop crying about the past. You can't change yesterday. You can't

  440. change the decisions that you made last week. But today I'm decided, I'm

  441. gonna change my mind. I'm gonna change the way that I see myself.

  442. I'm gonna change the way that I see my future. I'm gonna change the

  443. way that I see everything that's around me. Because God, I said,

  444. God, I said, the Lord has good things, great things, and

  445. sure for my life. In Jesus' name. Now put your hands together and

  446. give God a praise. Come on, if you believe it, Come on,

  447. tell your neighbors say, let it go, let it go, let

  448. it go, let it go, let it go, let it go.

  449. We've been to me endure for a night. But I got some word to

  450. tell you. Joy is coming in the morning. I said, Joey is

  451. coming in the morning. Peace is coming to your house. Hope is coming

  452. to your house. Healing is coming to your house. Oh my Jesus,

  453. somebody shall glory glory to God. I'm telling you you gotta let it go.

  454. You gotta let it go. I know they've been your friends for ten

  455. years, but they've been holding you back. Baby. I'm not telling you

  456. gotta tell them they're bad for you. You just got to learn how to

  457. put some distance between you and them. I'm not telling you gotta change your

  458. phone number. I just got to you gotta change the way you see your

  459. situation. You ain't gotta get petty. You just gotta recognize I'm I've got.

  460. And here's the thing. You don't even have to tell people that you're

  461. moving on the fact that you're moving on is gonna let them know where they

  462. need to exit. Hello, because they may not want to go where you're

  463. going. You gotta you gotta recognize straight rows. So see, our problem

  464. is not necessarily the seed. Our problem is what we've been yoked to.

  465. Hello, and the seed doesn't have a place the soul. It don't have

  466. a root to grow. God help us today to change our mind. Change

  467. our mind. Boy, your hands with me. Father. All across this

  468. room people that are yoked up, the things that are holding them back.

  469. But in the name of Jesus today I speak over their lives. I pray

  470. you break the yield. Today, Jesus, break every strongholder, break every

  471. chain over their lives. Jesus today, with every hip bot every I close,

  472. no one looking around. You say, Pastor today, I don't have

  473. relationship with Jesus Christ. Today is your day. He loves you. Don't

  474. she believe the lie the enemy. Don't she believe the lie that nothing's going

  475. to change. Something's going to change today. In Jesus name, your life

  476. is going to be being be made whole. In Jesus name, he said,

  477. that's me, Pastor, I want to surrender my life to Jesus.

  478. Just raise your hand right now, Come on, come on, come on,

  479. come on, all across this room. Thank you, Come on all

  480. across this room Jesus in Jesus name, In Jesus name, Jesus name,

  481. he said, Pastor, today he can put those things there. You say,

  482. Pastor, to day there's some areas in my life that that are that

  483. are hindering me, holding me back from all that God has for me.

  484. I know it. While you were preaching, there were some things that God

  485. was bringing up. He was cutting down to bring it up. And today

  486. I want to make it right. I want to confess it to Christ.

  487. I want to I want to turn it over to the Lord. I want

  488. to surrender that area. I want freedom today. I don't want to glance

  489. at the word of God. I want God's word to change my life today.

  490. Come on, if that's you, just raise your hand. Come on,

  491. all across this room, come on, come on, come on,

  492. come on. In Jesus' name, In Jesus name, there's areas there's unforgiveness

  493. that you've been yoked up to. I'm speaking over somebody. You've been mad

  494. at that one person. That person is holding you. It's holding you hostage.

  495. You're yoked up to it today in the name of you, let it

  496. go, Let it go, let it go, let it go, let

  497. it go, let it go. The enemy's got it on replay. Every

  498. time you want to take a step forward, you take three steps back because

  499. he reminds you of what they did in the name of Jesus. Let it

  500. go in Jesus' name. He yoked up, You're yoked up in Jesus name,

  501. in Jesus name, in Jesus name. I want you to pray this

  502. prayer with me for those that raise their hand for salvation, say Jesus today,

  503. I believe. Come on, say it with me. I believe you

  504. have the power to change my life. I ask you right now to come

  505. into my life to forgive me of my sins. I believe today, through

  506. your precious blood you can wash me and make me whole. Today I confess

  507. you as my savior, and I make you my lord. From this day

  508. forward, I choose to follow you. I thank you today that I am

  509. your child in Jesus' name. And all God's people said, come on,

  510. can you give a lord a praise in the house today? Come on?

  511. Come on? Can you give them some praise in this place? On
