we do. Burning Lamb Church. Burning Lamb Church.
-
Thank you for always listening to our podcast.
-
We hope they are a blessing to your life. Burning
-
Lamb Church. Are you ready to go into the word?
-
We've been going through so many transformations.
-
The Lord has been speaking in so many ways. How
-
many of you can say that you've been growing
-
in these last couple of months? If this is you,
-
lift up your hands please. There has really been
-
a transformation in your personal life. I believe
-
that the Lord is giving us a beautiful season
-
of growing. And He's taking us to a place of
-
maturity to grow in Him. So I've come to a place
-
Where the Lord has me developing aspects of His
-
wisdom, He is gifting of His wisdom, giving grace
-
to receive wisdom. Because it's never just only
-
your faith. He gives you the grace to believe.
-
He gives you the grace to believe in him. He
-
gives you the grace to believe in his word. So
-
the faith that one has is added on to the grace
-
that he's given us. So today I want to pray so
-
that God can add grace Grace upon grace. That
-
we can keep growing in Him. So we bow our heads.
-
Father in the name of Jesus. You are the father
-
of light. You are the one who knows all things.
-
By you all things were made. And by you they
-
are sustained. And through you they are manifested,
-
Lord. We grow near to your table, hungry and
-
thirsty. We want to continue growing in you.
-
Lord, the light of your word, let it be present
-
in this day. I pray for the spirit of revelation,
-
of wisdom, of understanding, and the knowledge
-
of who you are. But you may remove the veil one
-
more time today. And we can see you clearly.
-
And we may be able to grow in you. We come to
-
be transformed. We come to be challenged. And
-
I declare. that no one leaves this place the
-
same. We shall all be transformed in one way
-
or another. Your word that is alive acts within
-
us, produces faith in us. The faith comes by
-
hearing and hearing of the word of God. So fill
-
us of faith, challenge us, and allow us to be
-
established even more in you, in the name of
-
Jesus. And the people of God say, amen. We're
-
in a season of metamorphosis. And this metamorphosis
-
has brought different elements that are very
-
necessary to recognize. And I believe that it's
-
something that the Lord is not just doing with
-
this church, but what the Lord is doing with
-
the body. He's intentionally working with the
-
church. He's retaking the church. The scripture
-
says in Matthew 16, 18, And it says, and above
-
this rock, I will edify my church. I will build
-
my church. These are words of Jesus. And I believe
-
that we are in a time where he is building his
-
church. The systems of man are falling. They're
-
becoming irrelevant. The religious system is
-
falling. And there's something pure, an essence
-
of the Lord that is coming out to shine. And
-
we're beneficiaries of that. So it's important
-
to understand that in this season, there's a
-
re -identification. God is re -identifying. The
-
Spirit of God is re -identifying. the person
-
of Jesus, how He is. Jesus is the exact representation
-
of the Father. The Father decided to reveal Himself
-
exclusively through the person of Jesus. God
-
Himself didn't need elements or prophets, but
-
He sent His only Son, His own Son here on earth.
-
To reveal the heart of a father. And this re
-
-identification is also confronting us and taking
-
us to get to know ourselves. And I'm going to
-
give you wisdom, write this down. The more you
-
grow in the knowledge. And when I say grow in
-
the knowledge, it's not information. I'm speaking
-
of intimacy. A relationship in communion. The
-
word is to get to know or to get to know through
-
intimacy. So the more we know the Lord through
-
intimacy, In reality you will get to know who
-
you really are. It's important to know that.
-
Number two, through this metamorphosis, we are
-
being established in a greater dimension of the
-
truths of the Lord. It's like we're being rooted
-
in the Lord, founded in the Lord, cemented in
-
the Lord. And I'm seeing this transformation
-
even in your life. Number three. This metamorphosis
-
is allowing us to be strengthened in this communion
-
with the Lord. The understanding of our posture
-
where we are in front of the Lord is extremely
-
important. que la oración de Jesús en Juan 17
-
ha sido ya. Understanding that the prayer of
-
the Lord in John 17 has already been answered.
-
Father, make us one as you and I are one. I in
-
you, you in me, and them in us. That prayer has
-
been answered. And we're going to continue to
-
learn about that today. Number four. This metamorphosis
-
is allowing us to walk genuinely with the Holy
-
Spirit of the Lord. The Spirit of the Lord is
-
again re -identifying us. He's representing us.
-
He's again representing us to ourselves. to us.
-
Number five. He's giving us access to be formed
-
in the image of Jesus. And all of that is in
-
metamorphosis. Number six. He's removing the
-
veil. Seven. He is teaching us to be reborn again.
-
What is it to be reborn in Christ? Number seven.
-
He's making us more aware of the transformation
-
of the nature in Christ in us. And number eight,
-
he's showing us how to abide in him. John 15.
-
He says, I am the vine and you are the branches.
-
abide in me and I in you and the fruits will
-
naturally come to be. Let's go to 2 Corinthians
-
chapter 5 verse 7. 2 Corinthians 5 17 says Therefore,
-
if anyone is in who? Christ. He is the new creation.
-
All things have passed away. Behold, all things
-
have become new. Again, because of John 17, Father,
-
make them one just as you and I are one. We have
-
been placed in Christ. The scripture says that
-
we were crucified with Christ and we're going
-
to read that verse later. And then it says that
-
we died in Christ. And then it says that we were
-
resurrected alongside Christ, with Christ. And
-
then it says that we ascended jointly with Christ.
-
So the perfect work of the cross, we were already
-
placed in Christ. That's why Scripture says,
-
leave that verse up if you can. What we just
-
read, 2 Corinthians 5 17, Therefore if anyone,
-
what does it say, is in Christ. It doesn't say
-
with Christ. It says in Christ. He is a new creation.
-
It doesn't say next to Christ, but it says in
-
Christ. All things have passed. Behold, all things
-
have become new. Pastor, you've already taught
-
this. Yes, but now I'm going to challenge you
-
for you to live it. Because one thing is to have
-
knowledge. And another is for you to start living
-
what you've received. This verse speaks about
-
being reborn. When one is in Christ, a new creature
-
comes out. You are reborn. So we carry and we
-
are placed in Christ to enjoy manifest His life.
-
John chapter one. I hope that you came prepared
-
because we're going to go through a lot of scripture.
-
John chapter one. Verse one through five. This
-
speaks about Jesus. And it's very similar to
-
Genesis one. it's an intimate form of Genesis
-
1 and and it's more it's personified personified
-
personified in Christ in the person of Jesus
-
in the person of Jesus Go ahead. In the beginning
-
was the Word, and the Word was with God, and
-
the Word was God. He was in the beginning with
-
God. All things were made through Him, and without
-
Him nothing was made that was made. Look at the
-
language here with John. In the next verse. Read
-
it with me. In Him. Was what? Come on, help me.
-
What is in Him? Life. And the life was the light
-
of men and the light shines in the darkness and
-
the darkness did not comprehend it. So it's very
-
important in verse four, it says, in him was
-
life. Say with me, in him was life. So let's
-
reaffirm this verse. Acts chapter 17, verse 28.
-
Acts 17 -28 says, for in him we live and move
-
and have our being as also some of our own poets
-
have said for we are also his offspring so we're
-
going to read it slowly okay what does the verse
-
say? read it again We live and move and have
-
our being, as also some of our own poets have
-
said, for we are also his offspring. So Luke
-
establishes in the book of Acts that in him we
-
live. In him we have our life. Apostle John writes
-
in John 1 -4, in him was life. So genuine life,
-
the true life given to men is found in Him. Say
-
amen, please. So not only does He provide life,
-
but in Him we move. In Him we have our being,
-
or we are. So the Holy Spirit, now, here, today,
-
is teaching us that we are living in Him and
-
how to live in Him. The question comes to be,
-
what does it mean to live in Him? And I'm going
-
to give you ten aspects of what it is to live
-
in Him. But it's important that you are aware
-
that there are other aspects of being able to
-
live in Him. This type of teaching This is going
-
to shake the religious form that has been made
-
for many years. Why? Because for so long, we
-
were taught, endoctrined, like God is far away,
-
and we're separated from Him. And we have to
-
do works in order to grow near Him. We have to
-
do certain things to please Him. But that's not
-
real. And that's what the Lord wants to break
-
in us. So that we can understand that today is
-
possible today. Have the same relationship with
-
the Father that Jesus had here with the Father.
-
So are you ready? What does it mean to live in
-
Him? Number one, write this down please. To live
-
in Him means that our life takes the form and
-
the essence of the life itself of Jesus. Let
-
me repeat it. To live in Him, number one means
-
that our life now in Christ begins to take a
-
form and the essence of the same life of Christ.
-
Let me repeat it again. What does it mean to
-
live in Him? It means that our own life now in
-
Christ begins to take the form of the life of
-
Christ that begins to take the essence of the
-
same life. of Christ. That the life of Christ
-
begins to now become our own life. Galatians
-
2 .20 Let's go there quickly. Look at the person
-
next to you and tell them. Tell them, do not
-
distract me because today I'm going to learn
-
about my Lord and my posture in Him. What does
-
Galatians 2 .20 say? It says I have been crucified
-
with Christ. I'm no longer separated. Separated
-
from Christ. What is it? It's not separated,
-
but it's with Christ. In Christ. I am jointly
-
crucified. And it says, it is no longer I who
-
live but Christ lives in me and the life which
-
I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the
-
Son of God who loved me and gave himself for
-
me. Jesus was teaching his disciples that he
-
who loves his life will lose it. But he who yields
-
his life But because of him or for him will now
-
can take his life. Here in Galatians it says
-
that because we have been crucified with him,
-
now we have another nature. There's another essence,
-
a new creature. Those that are in Christ are
-
new creatures. This is it. I no longer live,
-
but Christ lives in me. Do you know what this
-
is gonna mean while the Holy Spirit is working
-
in you? This means that your own life in the
-
flesh, and when I say in the flesh, I'm speaking
-
of your desires in the flesh. They will begin
-
to disappear, simply no longer be a part of you.
-
of you because you're going to be more conscious
-
of your union in Christ and you're going to learn
-
how to abide or remain in Him that the own life
-
of the vine will begin to sprout in you. And
-
the life of Christ will be manifested through
-
you. And it will no longer be through your discipline.
-
And not through your own work. But it will be
-
a heart that's yielded to the Lord, surrendered
-
to the Lord that understands the posture is in
-
the Lord. And because I am in him, I appropriate
-
myself of his life. He himself gives me of his
-
own life Zoe. begins to die, which is my desires,
-
my longings, the things that I want, and that
-
what I want is the same thing that He wants.
-
Now I think like He thinks, because you are in
-
Him, you have the mind of Christ. The scripture
-
says that you have the mind of Christ, but the
-
mind of Christ will be developed exclusively
-
in union with the Father, in union with the Son,
-
in union with the Spirit of God, and you being
-
in Him, conscious that I am in Christ. There's
-
no separation between Christ and I. There's no
-
separation between the Spirit of God and I. No
-
separation between the Father and I. God sealed
-
me with Himself inside of me. It has to go from
-
here to here. And this union... In this taking
-
of the life of Christ, it won't be in your strength.
-
You know what's gonna happen when you become
-
more conscious that you are in him? You're gonna
-
love as he loves. The people that used to get
-
on your nerves. Now you're gonna have mercy with
-
them. You're gonna have compassion with them.
-
It's like you don't believe me, but it's the
-
truth. Because the life of Christ, how is the
-
life of Christ? The scripture says that God is
-
love. He doesn't have love. He is love. His essence
-
is love. When you are in him, his nature, his
-
character begins to be formed in you. And you
-
begin to love the unlovable. Say amen, please.
-
It's a reality, it's a truth. That is where the
-
fruit of the begins to sprout out of you. And
-
what is the fruit of the spirit? Because it doesn't
-
say the fruits of the spirit, it says the fruit
-
of the spirit. What is it? Love. You're going
-
to be the most lovable person. Say amen. Say
-
amen, please. Especially those machos out there.
-
You're going to be the person that forgives the
-
quickest. Don't worry about it. The essence,
-
the nature, who God really is, begins to now
-
sprout in you. Quickly to forgive. Pray in mercy.
-
The image of the Father. Just as the Father loves
-
you love. Generous like the Father. Say amen,
-
you were quiet there. How is the Father? manifested
-
in Christ. Now that manifestation of the person
-
of Jesus begins to be worked in you because you
-
are in him. Number two, same verse. Our faith
-
begins to grow. It begins to be perfected in
-
Christ Jesus. We believe like Christ because
-
we're in him. That means we have the life of
-
Christ. In Him, we live. It's not that you live
-
your own life. It's now that there's an exchange
-
of life. Now the life of Christ is being formed
-
in you. Your level of faith will shoot up. Why?
-
Because I am in Him. He's developing the faith
-
that belongs to God. He's developing in me. With
-
Christ I am jointly crucified. I no longer live,
-
but Christ lives in me. And the life which now
-
I live. In the flesh, I live by what? Come on,
-
help me, how am I living it? I live by faith,
-
not in a result. Not in the faith of the papers
-
that they're gonna give me. Not in the faith
-
of the house that I'm gonna buy. Not in the faith
-
of the car that God is gonna give me. But in
-
the faith, in who? Of the Son of God. The same
-
faith that comes from the God begins to be cultivated
-
in us. Where, what you ask for. Your dad is ready
-
to give. And you don't have to try and think
-
of a way to produce something. Nope. Everything
-
is produced through union. Amen. The church is
-
not used to having communion. They're used to
-
making sacrifices. Repentance means to change
-
your way of thinking. But religion has taught
-
us or has sold us. It's like we've asked the
-
Lord for forgiveness and we feel bad. But listen
-
to the word. Repentance. Pain penance again.
-
Repentance. Pain penance. again. The true word
-
is metanoia, which is the transformation of the
-
mind. To let go of a way of thinking and capture
-
the way the Lord thinks. Are we here? Again,
-
it's going to confront us in so many areas. Pastor,
-
do you believe in repentance? 100%. But not just
-
crying here and making myself feel really bad
-
because I sinned. Because true repentance needs
-
a fruit. And that fruit means transformation.
-
That's that's another story So our faith is strengthened
-
exclusively in the Son of God Number three saying
-
verse The Spirit of God begins to reveal to us
-
continuously How loved we really are He says
-
who loved me and gave himself for me So again
-
the Spirit of God in this metamorphosis In teaching
-
us how to live in Christ Begins to now establish
-
the love of God in us Do you want to know why
-
this is so important? Because many walk with
-
an orphaned mind. And they need to be established
-
in love. Scripture speaks of and teaches us.
-
Grow in the love of God. It says the perfect
-
love of God. Cast out fear. The love of God has
-
to be perfected in us. And the Spirit of God
-
desires to perfect the love of God in us. When
-
that happens, there's a freedom. And in that
-
freedom, we will be living free of fear, free
-
of anxiety, free of worries. Say amen, please.
-
Because the perfect love of God casts out all
-
fear. Pastor, everything that you're talking
-
about is so impossible. Yes, because religion
-
religion has taught us that. It never gave us
-
the direction which is possible to live established
-
in the love of God just as Jesus was. Say amen
-
please. To live so loved just as Christ is loved.
-
Jesus said that. He said the same way that my
-
father loves me, he loves you. And then in John
-
17 he says, Lord in the same way that you love
-
me, love them. If we were to walk in the love
-
of God, there wouldn't be any competition. You
-
wouldn't be in competition with anybody. You
-
wouldn't be comparing yourself with anyone. There
-
wouldn't be any jealousy. There wouldn't be any
-
envy. Or you wouldn't be lusting over someone
-
or over what they have. You would be fully established
-
in your identity. You know that you're a son.
-
You know that you're a daughter. You know that
-
you're fully loved. There's no doubt in your
-
mind. You are fully established in the Lord.
-
I am as beloved as Christ is loved. That's why
-
Apostle John throughout his whole gospel He would
-
write, the beloved disciple that Jesus... The
-
disciple that Jesus loved. And we read that and
-
we're like, oh, he was so prideful. But nonetheless,
-
the Spirit of God allowed that for that to be
-
present. John didn't have any competition. John
-
was at the feet of Christ when everybody else
-
was hiding. Everybody had fear and he was present
-
with the Lord, with Jesus. He was established
-
in the love of God. He knew how loved he was.
-
There's a place in this metamorphosis where God
-
begins to take this out of you and you begin
-
to understand, I am so loved just as Jesus is
-
loved. I am such a son as Christ's son. I am
-
not less loved than Jesus. I'm not less loved
-
than Jalen, the one that sings. Or Pastor Daniel
-
who preaches. God doesn't have favorites. But
-
you continue being His favorite.
