  1. Welcome to the Legacy Churches Podcast. We are so glad that you get you

  2. win us today. We praise that God speaks to you through his message and

  3. through his word. Now let's tune into the message Romans chapter twelve. It

  4. is our custom to standing for the reading of God's word. I'm telling you

  5. this word, this word, this word. I hope you're ready. Last

  6. week we talked about oh Man, we talked a lot about how God wants

  7. to renew our minds and how we got to let God's word break in and

  8. break down in our lives. Today we're in the whole new series called The

  9. Battle Within. Because your life is always moving towards your strongest thoughts. So

  10. I want to encourage you today to go to Romans chapter twelve, verse one

  11. and two. And I want to make sure my organist is miked up in

  12. the house. I hear him humming behind me, but I want to make

  13. sure he gets in the house as well. That we're gonna have church today.

  14. I said we're gonna have church today. Don't start now. Therefore,

  15. I urge you, brothers and sister, in view of God's mercy, to

  16. offer your bodies as a living sacrifice. Holy and pleasing to God. This

  17. is your true and proper worship. Do not tell your neighbors, say do

  18. not empactic, do not conform to the pattern of this world. I mean,

  19. the world wants to put you in a hold, wants to bring you

  20. into submission. But be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you'll

  21. be able to test and prove what God's will is, his good, pleasing

  22. and perfect will. But you bow your heads with me, Father, we

  23. love you. Today. You pray a blessing upon this house, and a

  24. prayer blessing upon this word. Today, God, let this word go forth

  25. with power and clarity. And God, I give you all the praise in

  26. the mighty name of Jesus. And everybody said, Amen. As you're see

  27. to just tell your neighbors, say steward the seed. Steward the seed.

  28. Today, Steward the seed. That's what I'm going to be talking about.

  29. And I just want to just do a little bit of a recap from where

  30. we have been for those that may have been coming. Maybe this is your

  31. first time that we're in a whole series called Battle within the battlefield of the

  32. mind. Understanding how the enemy works. I about the scheme of the enemy.

  33. If the enemy wants to sow seeds of doubt and disbelief, because if

  34. he can get you to doubt God's word, he can get his hands or

  35. his clutches on you. And so it's recognizing the strategy of the enemy.

  36. Last week we talked about how we got to begin to allow our minds to

  37. be open, to allow the word of God to be sown, not on

  38. hard ground or on ground that is full of rocks and thorns and places where

  39. the root can't take place. But today I'm gonna talk to you about how

  40. to steward the seed. How many of the Word of God has the power

  41. to change your life. Everything in that seed, everything in that seed,

  42. in the seed form, has the potency to become everything that God has declared

  43. over your life. Just like an acorn. An acorn, it doesn't look

  44. like it's much, but inside of it, inside of it, it has

  45. the DNA, the blue and all that it needs for it to become the

  46. largest oak tree standing into the forest. So you need to know that the

  47. enemy is always trying to fight the seed. He's trying to fight the seed

  48. because he knows that if the seed ever gets large deep into your life.

  49. It will cause havoc on his kingdom. It'll won't just change your life,

  50. but it will change the destiny of your children's children's children. How many know

  51. the valuable declares that God says when I bless you, when you walk under

  52. the blessing, It'll be on your kids, kids, kids. You'll break

  53. generational curses, You'll break generational patterns. Things that you used to be a

  54. part of will be broken because of the power of God's words. So the

  55. enemy wants to put you into submission. Now. I grew up in Indiana,

  56. and most people think in Indiana that we are all about basketball. And

  57. that is true. That is true if you are from if you are Hoosier,

  58. you know that every kid had a basketball goal outside uh in in in

  59. the driveway we recognized. But as for me, in my little town,

  60. we had a we had a continual development of wrestling or some people call it

  61. wrestling, whichever one you want to prefer, not you know what I'm saying.

  62. And so we grew up as in wrestling and and and it was always

  63. interesting because as a elementary kid, I wrestled from like first grade all the

  64. way up through elementary and something a little bit into junior high UH wrestling was

  65. just part of the culture because the coach that was overseeing the elementary UH,

  66. Jim, was also the high school wrestling coach, and so he had an

  67. invested interest to make sure that UH that we started young learning how to wrestle.

  68. And if you know anything about wrestling, there are two different positions that

  69. you are in. There is the neutral position and there is the submissive position.

  70. And so what would happen in a wrestling match is that you would start

  71. in a neutral position, but eventually one of you would have to switch and

  72. you would get into a submission position. And the submission position you would literally

  73. be on your hands and on your knees. Y'all see this, don't make

  74. me have to get on the ground. Y'all see what I'm talking about,

  75. hands and knees on the ground. And then there would be somebody that would

  76. literally ride you. That's what they would say. They would put their chin

  77. in the middle of your back and put their hand over your over your right

  78. hand because they were going to Once the referee called the next moment to the

  79. next round, you would have to begin to fight your way out of the

  80. submission hold so that you would not be pinned down or lose a point.

  81. Y'all getting this? And I want you to know that my coach from a

  82. young age would teach us the strategies of how to get out of a submission

  83. situation where it looked like I was going down, but because the coach had

  84. taught me how to maneuver, I was only down until the ref blew the

  85. whistle because I had given the strategy so that I could get out of the

  86. hold and stand up in a neutral position to be able to come to combat

  87. to my opponent. And here is the problem today with many of us,

  88. including myself, as many times we're asking God to take it away from us.

  89. We're saying, God, get me out of that Come on, now,

  90. get me out of that situation. God, if you just get me

  91. into another relationship, I know it'll get better. But have you ever noticed

  92. that your problems will follow you wherever you y'all better help me today, They

  93. will follow you wherever you go. And the problem is is that we are

  94. praying the wrong type of prayer. The prayer is, God, don't take

  95. it away from me, but give me the power and ability and strategy to

  96. overcome what the enemy is trying to do in me and on me. And

  97. that's why the apostle Paul says, do not conform to the pattern of this

  98. world. But be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. Come on,

  99. tell your neighbors say you need to renew your mind. You have got

  100. to retrain your mind, because the valuable tells us that we got to learn

  101. how to steward the seed. Now I'm gonna teach for a minute because I

  102. want you to get this. Go to the Book of Mark chapter four.

  103. Now that's kind of like this chapter. These verses you'll find them as well

  104. in Matthew and Luke in the Synoptic Gospels. But in Mark chapter four,

  105. verse thirteen. We read this last week, but it talks about the soil.

  106. We talked about the hard spaces. We've talked about the shallow spaces.

  107. But I want you to look at verse eighteen. Still others like seeing sown

  108. among thorns, hear the word, the word takes root. But the Bible

  109. says, but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and

  110. the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.

  111. Do you see that? So that's why it's so important today that you

  112. guard your thoughts. You got to learn how to guard your thoughts because it's

  113. in your cultivation of stewarding. The seed is going to determine what type of

  114. fruit develops in and on your life. So if the enemy cannot snuff out

  115. the seed, he will try to choke out the seed by bringing the cares

  116. of this world all around your life in such a way that the word won't

  117. work because you are focused on all the worries and cares of this world.

  118. Are you getting this? So here's the question, what are you feeding?

  119. Because whatever you are feeding is growing. That's why you always have to have

  120. a thought audit. What am I thinking on? What am I dwelling on?

  121. What is my mind moving towards what am I focusing on? Because what

  122. I focus on the longest becomes the strongest. Are you hearing what I'm saying?

  123. What am I focusing on my focusing on the fact that things aren't working?

  124. Am I focusing on the economy? Am I focusing on what the news

  125. is saying? Am I focusing on the pandemic problems that are beginning to become

  126. unfolded in our world? What am I focusing on? Because whatever you focus

  127. on the longest is becomes the Come on, now, y'all gonna help me

  128. today. Come on, whatever you focus on the longest becomes the strongest in

  129. your life. So it's so important because you either are worrying or you are

  130. worshiping. Hello. This is why, this is why it's so important,

  131. because you either are walking in worry or you are walking in worship. That's

  132. why worry is a problem because it causes the sea to be choked out.

  133. And here it starts by a sea. Have you ever noticed that you never

  134. invited weeds into your garden? In fact, I would like to put out

  135. a sign. Now. My wife's looking at me because you know I'm gonna

  136. go there, but at me. So she looked at me like you better

  137. not. I said, it's in my MoES. We Lord have mercy forgive

  138. me Jesus right now. It is her birthday this month. Come on,

  139. give it up from first lady turning forty on October the nineteenth, baby who

  140. forty looks good on you, glory to God. Better keep my mind on,

  141. Jesus, Come on mine on, Jesus, thank you thank you,

  142. thank you. But here's the thing. I wish I could put a sign

  143. out that said no weeds allowed. I wish I could. But have you

  144. ever noticed that seeds that seeds of weeds, they come in uninvited, that

  145. come in they come in through the air, that come in through the air,

  146. or they come in through others, and they sow themselves into your garden

  147. unexpectedly. That's why you gotta be careful what you're watching. That's gotta be

  148. why you're gonna be careful what you're listening. Because there's some stuff in the

  149. air that's trying to get into your guard and it looks cute and it looks

  150. sweet, but I promise you it's poisoned from the pit of hell, and

  151. it's gonna cause a problem in your life. That's why you gotta be careful

  152. what you see, what you listen to, because be careful, little eyes

  153. what you see, Be careful, little ears what you hear. That's why

  154. the Bible says in Proverbs chapter four, verse twenty says, my son,

  155. pay attention to what I say. Turn your ears to my words. Do

  156. not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart, to

  157. put them in your soul, for they are live to those who find them,

  158. and help to one's whole body. Above else, God your heart,

  159. for out of it flows the issues of life. Guard your heart, Guard

  160. your thoughts, guard your emotions, guard your will, because you gotta be

  161. careful because the enemy is trying to sow some things into your life through the

  162. air, through the medium. That's why you gotta turn off the news,

  163. and you gotta turn off the notifications, and you gotta recognize that the enemy

  164. is suddenly trying to sow the seed. And if they can't get in through

  165. the news, it'll come in through your friends. It'll come in from your

  166. family. Have you ever noticed that you were doing so good, You were

  167. doing so well, You hadn't talked to your ex whatever it is, in

  168. six months, but all of a sudden, they started showing up in your

  169. life, sending you DMS and sending you text letting you know, hey,

  170. I saw you. I saw the picture on Instagram. Girl, You're looking

  171. good on all of a sudden, and all of a sudden he trying to

  172. lure you back. Isn't an amazing how the enemy knows when the seed is

  173. growing, and how he knows if he can't. He can't get around you.

  174. He'll try to get inside of you. He gonna work his thing because

  175. he knows that the moment that you allow the word of God to get rooted,

  176. it's going to grow in your life today. And you gotta be careful

  177. what seeds are being sown. You gotta capture your thoughts or your thoughts will

  178. capture you. They come in through stuff. That's why when you're hanging around

  179. people that gossip, all of a sudden, you find yourself thinking about what

  180. they think about and talk about hello, and you start the enemy starts sowing.

  181. See that because somebody came in and told you that you hear what they

  182. said about you, and it don't really matter what they say about you.

  183. It's only matters what God says about you. But your mind is focused on

  184. somebody else. And because your mind is focused on somebody else, you can't

  185. hear what God says about I'm not there yet yet. I'm trying to help

  186. somebody today. See worry. And here's the thing. The enemy knows exactly

  187. how to push your buttons. He knows exactly where the area in my life

  188. is the weakness. And watch this. Worry is an indication of where we

  189. trust God the least. I'm trying to help somebody. Y'all getting quiet on

  190. me, but you better say amen. If you can't say amen, say

  191. oh me, come on now. Because here's the thing. It's where we

  192. trust God the least. That's why the enemy focuses on finances and the economy

  193. because he knows that our faith may not be in the place of trusting.

  194. That's why the Bible says you gotta trust in the Lord with all your heart

  195. and lean not to your own understanding. Because where you trust God the least

  196. is where the enemy wants to work in your weakness. And you get it

  197. passed down by generations. You get it passed down. Abraham had a problem

  198. with telling the truth. Isaac had a problem. You know why, because

  199. he was trying trying to figure his way out of a problem. And you

  200. gotta guard your thoughts. And when I don't guard my thoughts, have you

  201. ever noticed that the weed grows faster than the seed? Have you ever noticed

  202. that? And and here's the thing. You planted the garden. My wife

  203. and I she looked at me because I'm gonna talk about it. I'm gonna

  204. talk about it come on, te your neighbor say he gonna talk about it.

  205. You can shake your head, but we're gonna talk about it. We're

  206. gonna talk about it today. Y'all with me today. I know it's warm

  207. in here. Don't worry about the don't worry about the air condition. God

  208. gonna take care of that. Here's the deal. Here's the deal. We

  209. went on vacation. We went on vacation for two weeks. Now. Here's

  210. the thing that I found out was, you know, when I see a

  211. little bit of weed, this is what I do. I just go in

  212. there and I just pluck it out. You ever done that? Like,

  213. I'm really particular. My mother in law's coming in this weekend, and so

  214. I'm gonna make sure because they are really like they have like their their their

  215. their yard is like plush. You know what I'm saying. You know,

  216. you know those people that they got they get yard of the month every month,

  217. you know what I'm talking about, Like like they got the grass so

  218. green that it looks like heaven. You know what I'm talking about? Like

  219. what did you put on it? Don't even look real? Like what are

  220. you feeding it? Like you got some kind of drug on that on that

  221. week. You know what I'm talking. I mean, so I know so

  222. like you know, like and our and so even in my flower garden,

  223. you know, I'm just if I see a little those little crab of grasses

  224. or you know, nut grass, you know, just little little one,

  225. just pull them up. You know what I'm saying. We went on.

  226. We went just two weeks. We took care of the dogs, we took

  227. care of everything. We were gone for two weeks, but we didn't take

  228. care of the garden. I'm telling you. I came home, the whole

  229. garden got taken over by weeds. I couldn't. I didn't, my wife

  230. says. My wife told me the other day. I said, well,

  231. what's in there? She said, cucumbers? I said, where we got

  232. zucchini? Where I can't see the growth because of the weeds. And what

  233. was crazy was when we got in there and started taking up the weeds.

  234. Have you ever noticed that when it's a small weed, how easy it is

  235. is pull it up. But once it starts taking root, when you pull

  236. on it, it don't come up like it did when it was just a

  237. seed form. And all of a sudden you have to get some gloves or

  238. what we call it. You may have to even get some tools to be

  239. able to pull up the weeds. Now we call them tools, God calls

  240. them weapons. That's why he said the our warfare is not carnival, but

  241. mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, because he recognizes that this

  242. thing needs an arsenal. Because when you pull it up, you're not just

  243. pulling up the weed, you're also pulling up the soil, which lets me

  244. know that you're also giving it some strength. You're giving it some strength in

  245. your life. And because of that, it's going to choke out the seed.

  246. That it's a lot harder to deal with these roots than it was when

  247. it was just the seed you'll get in this. That's why you got to

  248. make sure that you steward the seed. You don't allow itself to choke out

  249. the word of God over your life. That's why Sunday morning sermons cannot sustain

  250. you Sunday morning. That's why you've got to recognize that worry starts with what

  251. if. Worry always starts with what if. And you've got to learn today

  252. that the enemy is so good at feeding you the lie about what if?

  253. What if? He doesn't do this. What if he doesn't show up.

  254. What if this doesn't happen you've been praying and believing. What if the doctor's

  255. report is negative. What if that person that you've been believing God for in

  256. your life doesn't show up. See, the enemy always gets you to focus

  257. on what you don't have. He gets you focused on what's not working,

  258. and he starts playing on your mind. But that's why you've got to declare.

  259. Worship is not just a song. Worship is declaring God is. You

  260. got to speak up. You will either feed the seed or you will feed

  261. the weeds. Worship is about removing tomorrow's worry by declaring who God is.

  262. In the air of my weakness is where I begin to worship the Lord.

  263. What are they saying about me? What are they talking about? Did you

  264. hear what they said about your pastor no I didn't. I need you to

  265. recognize that if God is for me, who can be against me? He

  266. is my strength, He is my helper, he is my strong power.

  267. Today I'm not focusing on what they said. Well, what if the things

  268. don't work? What if something's around the corner? Can I tell you today?

  269. I'm declaring The Lord is my light, he is my salvation. Whom

  270. shall I fear? Can I get a witness today? I'm not focusing on

  271. what they say. I'm focusing on what God says and declaring God is somebody

  272. shall God is? What is he to you? He's my friend, he's

  273. my helper, he's my strength, he's my piece, he's my choice,

  274. he's my redeemer, he's my rescuer. He's my savior. He's my prince

  275. of peace. He's my righteousness. I know I may not be perfect,

  276. but he still calls me his son because of what he says. I said

  277. what he says about me. And that's the problem today. Too many of

  278. us are telling telling people what they said about you. But you gotta learn

  279. that you that you in your in your place of worship. You've got to

  280. declare what God says about your life. You gotta learn how to worship your

  281. way out of your word. I said, you gotta learn how to worship

  282. your way out of your worry. That's why the Psalmist said, I will

  283. bless the Lord at all times, and his praise shall continually be on my

  284. mouth. I will ble the Lord, oh my soul, and all that's

  285. within me. I will bless his holy name. I will bless the Lord,

  286. oh my soul, and not forget all of his benefits. Baby,

  287. listen, I'm gonna put a worship on it. I know what the doctor

  288. said, I know what the world is saying, I know what my enemies

  289. are saying. But I'm going to declare what God says about my situation.

  290. Come on, did anybody know what I'm talking about? Anybody ever been in

  291. a situation that you had to bank your faith not on what other people said,

  292. but you had to bank your faith or what God said, and you

  293. had it in clare. There's the benefit of the crosser. There's the benefit

  294. of the bloodstained banner. There's a benefit of being a child of God.

  295. There's a benefit that I can stand boldly before the throne room of grace and

  296. ask for mercy and grace in my time and Needa that he is Jehovah Chirad,

  297. I say, he is Jehold the Chira. Have you ever been in

  298. a place where you didn't know where your he was gonna come from and you

  299. found out that he was sha Hold the Chira, the Lord that will provide.

  300. I wish I had a help in this place. But just tell your

  301. neighbor he's on there. Come on, just tell him, come on,

  302. tell about five other people. Tell him he's all that. Whatever you're looking

  303. for her, whatever you're in need of. You can focus on your problem.

  304. You can focus on your situation, or you can focus on the throne

  305. and focus on the God who is able. I said he's able. I

  306. said he's able. I said he is a Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

  307. Listen, that's what worshiped us. Worship is declaration. And the problem is

  308. is that you're not declaring who God is in the place of your weakness,

  309. and the enemy's got you focus on what's not working and what's not happening.

  310. But I tell you today, if you would muster up your faith and open

  311. up your mouth. See here's the problem. We think we gotta feel our

  312. way into worship. No, you gotta faith your way into worship. Some

  313. of you looking at me all stranger because you don't feel it, because you're

  314. walking by sight and you're walking by what somebody else says, and you're walking

  315. out what the news say. But I tell you to get out of your

  316. feelings and say, today the just shall live by faith. I feel like

  317. preaching her. I feel like declaring today that God is more than enough.

  318. He is Shirah. He is Shirah. He is able. He's even able

  319. to heal your broken heart. He's able to mend up the broken places.

  320. He's able to send liberty to those that are in captivity. Can I tell

  321. you what he can do? If you put your hands off of it and

  322. let God put his hands on it, he will make a way where there

  323. seems to be no way. I'm talking to somebody today. Your faith is

  324. getting stirred right now because there's worship coming up out of your mouth. I

  325. dare you to declare who he is right now in this way. So go

  326. ahead and brag on him. Come on, tell him who he is.

  327. Come on, I said, tell him who he is. I said,

  328. tell him who he is. I said, tell him who he is.

  329. You gotta learn how to worship your way out. You gotta worship your way

  330. out. You gotta worship your way out. See, worship is declaration.

  331. Worship is not just declaration. Hold on, it's not just declaration. Worship

  332. is activation. It's activation. See declaration is making room and pushing out the

  333. lie of the enemy. Y'all getting this, But what keeps the weeds out

  334. it's by me obeying what God already said for me to do. You understand

  335. that, right, you see, worship is not just declaring who God is,

  336. but it's also obeying in faith, knowing that He's going to show up.

  337. Hello, now I tell you come with your baby. Didn't I didn't

  338. tell you, but she is eight months pregnant. Come on up here,

  339. Come up here, Jake, you're the reason why You're the reason why she's

  340. come on now, come on, and here's the problem. Now look then,

  341. she look good, she looks she looked somebody. I'm not gonna touch

  342. it because that's one of the rules. People always want to touch. Do

  343. not touch the belly. I know you want to touch it, but don't

  344. touch it. The only people that can touch it is tell you and Jake,

  345. amen, amen, rub that belly. Call. They when she found

  346. out that she was pregnant. They use the word saying she's expecting. The

  347. seed germinated and they found out that they were pregnant. And what they started

  348. to do, even though they didn't have signed this, it's called activation.

  349. Worship is activation. They started getting the baby room, They I don't know

  350. what the baby room was. What was the baby room before it was the

  351. baby room. It was the guest bedroom. That's where they put mother in

  352. law. That's where they put father in law. That's where they put friends.

  353. But when they started expecting, they changed the room. It no longer

  354. was the guest room. It became the baby room. And they started putting

  355. furniture together, and they started putting the rocker together, and they started putting

  356. off that. Now they got they got clothes, and they and they and

  357. and they're and they're doing something so unique. They're they're not doing gender reveal.

  358. They're gonna find out what the baby is on the day that the baby

  359. is born. They gotta they got a name for the girl, and they

  360. got a name for the boy. And they ain't telling us anything, but

  361. they already got a name for the baby because they they got a baby room,

  362. they got a crib, they got a rocker, they got a changing

  363. table. They even got a little diaper. Genie, because she's expecting,

  364. but she hadn't had the baby yet. And here's the problem with a lot

  365. of us. We don't know we're expecting, and we haven't activated our faith.

  366. Baby if you're gonna have a baby, you know, only just gotta

  367. be able to see it. But you gotta put some baby cribs together.

  368. You gotta put some stuff together. You gotta get the baby room. But

  369. you ain't ready until you get the baby room. And that's the problem.

  370. You gotta learn how to walk by faith. Faith is activation. Get your

  371. baby room ready. You guys can be seen that I'm talking to somebody.

  372. You've been talking about a business. You better get the business baby room ready.

  373. You can't be talking about I want a baby, but you don't got

  374. a baby room. You better get the baby room ready. Your baby room

  375. is a sign that when you pray, you were planning as if God was

  376. going to answer your prayers. I'm gonna tell you today that I serve a

  377. God that not only hears me when I pray, but he's a God that

  378. will answer me. And see, that's why I walk by faith. I'm

  379. already looking for land. I'm already looking for things because my faith is activated

  380. towards what God has already. It's activation. That's why I'm trusting God.

  381. That's why when I give my tithes and I say Lord that I trust you,

  382. I'm not just saying it with my words. I'm saying it with my

  383. faith. I'm saying God, you man my sorcer. Legacy's not my sorcer.

  384. The Saints aren't my sorcer. God, you're my sorcer. If you

  385. gotta feed me by a brooker with some ravens, I know you are avil.

  386. I wish I had some help in this place. God, you can

  387. make away if you said, I'm supposed to be there. There's not a

  388. hell or hot water that's gonna sn me from doing exactly what God said.

  389. Do I got any activated faith in this place? I said, do I

  390. cut any activated faith in this place? James said, faith with our works

  391. is show me your faith and I'll show you my works. Hello. Show

  392. That's where worship is at. Worship is declaration. It's activation. That's why

  393. you stepped away from some things. You're activating your faith. You don't understand

  394. the power of your step. You think your step is small, but your

  395. step activated something. Y'all missing this. If you could see what God's about

  396. to do, if you just take a step, if you just say,

  397. God, I don't understand it, but I trust you today. God,

  398. I don't know how it's gonna work, but I trust you today. God.

  399. I don't know how it's gonna happen, but I trust you today,

  400. God, faith his body, walking it out and trusting you, even when

  401. I don't see it, even when I don't feel it, even when I

  402. don't understand it. I'm just gonna trust you. I'm gonna worship her with

  403. my walker. I'm gonna worship you with my walk. I may don't feel

  404. like anything's happening, but I know God, at the end of this,

  405. you wanna get some glory out of my life. I'm gonna preach to myself

  406. and I ain't got no help in this place. I wanna see you do

  407. the impossible. I wanna see you do the things that you promised over my

  408. life, over this house, over my children. I won't take a step

  409. until I start running all the way to the promises of God, because there's

  410. nothing that's gonna hold me back up. In my worship. My worship isn't

  411. just my worship. My worship is my walk. Are you kidding this?

  412. This is how you defeat discouragement by you blessing somebody. This is how you

  413. overcome stinginess by being generous. This is how you overcome being passive aggressive by

  414. just being open and honest and saying it's me. This is how you do

  415. it. You gotta learn how to take a step. And here's the key.

  416. It's that worship is one daily. Did you hear me? The Psalmist

  417. declared his mercies are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. And here's

  418. the thing. You gotta win the war daily in yourship. You can't just

  419. come in here on Sunday and fight and on Monday go back to the sidelines.

  420. Your worship is twenty four seven. And here's the thing. What the

  421. enemy does is he tries to get you to throwocus on perfection and not on

  422. progress. You're watching this, watch this because everybody in this room is gonna

  423. deal with worry. I wish I had some help in this place. My

  424. might must be off. Everybody in this room has some area of weakness.

  425. Now this is a call and response. I'll do this as many times until

  426. you get it. Everybody, come on, just tell your neighbors here.

  427. That means you is struggling in some area. Yeah, and everybody has had

  428. has made a bad decision sometime sometime in the last week, don't you think

  429. that your halo is not sitting on your head. It's broke, baby.

  430. And here's what the enemy does. Watch what watch, What happens is is

  431. how the seed worry begins at large. He lets you think that a bad

  432. decision makes it a bad day. Come on, now, you're strewed up.

  433. You are doing well, and then you got into traffic and then all

  434. of a sudden somebody cuts you off. And then all of a sudden,

  435. your blood pressure raised up, and you said a few words that we cannot

  436. repeat in the poolpit. Right now, don't act all holier than now.

  437. And he say, oh God, forgive me Jesus. And then the enemy.

  438. And then all of a sudden, the enemy has got you self discouraged.

  439. He's supposed to be a Christian. You went to church yesterday, and

  440. look at you. You already cussing in traffic, and all of a sudden

  441. and you think you better take that legacy sticker off the back of your car

  442. representing the church and all that. He got you so beat up, and

  443. he lets you make a one bad decision equals a bad day. And then

  444. you go into work, and then another thing happens, and another thing happens

  445. and all of a sudden, the devil's got you so defeated, and he's

  446. just so in seed and so in seed and so in seed. But you

  447. got to learn how to not let a bad decision to become a bad day.

  448. That's why his mercies are new every morning. And I need you to

  449. understand what I say every morning. That means that when you go up higher

  450. listen, on this Earth, the sun rotates only one time in a day.

  451. But if you go up to the International Space Station and you get up

  452. a little higher, you know that the Earth orbit rotates eighteen times around and

  453. then you see the Sun rotating the Earth eighteen times. Because when you're up

  454. in a higher place, that you recognize that morning is based upon your position

  455. and not on your condition. Can I tell you you may have made a

  456. mistake, but you're not a mistaker. You may have had a bad decision,

  457. but that doesn't make it a bad day. And throw off your worry

  458. and throw up pure hands and say, today I'm going to give God my

  459. worship. Today, I'm throwing what's in the past, I'm throwing in what

  460. happened last night. But today I'm declaring war on myself, and war on

  461. the end of me. You're not gonna steal my praise. You're not gonna

  462. steal my worshiper. I'm gonna give God my best. That's why you can't

  463. pause your praise. That's why you can't stop singing. Ton't desire it,

  464. because it's in your praise that you are strengthened by the Lord. Stay with

  465. me today. I'm telling you everybody in this room has had a place of

  466. defeat. But your defeat doesn't have to be your discouragement. Your valley doesn't

  467. have to be your vision. That's why every day you gotta guard your thoughts.

  468. How do you guard it by your worship, by your worship? By

  469. your worship, said pastor, I don't even know what worship is. Worship

  470. is declaring who God is. I don't even know who he is. I'm

  471. gonna tell you who he is. He's a father to the fatherless, he's

  472. a friend to the friendless. He's not gonna leave you, he's not gonna

  473. forsake you. And in fact, he said, while you were yet sinners,

  474. Christ died for the young God. How much has God love you?

  475. He loves you at your worst, and he still says I want you.

  476. I know what other people have said, they have changed their mind, but

  477. God has not changed his mind about you. Today, you say, I

  478. want that. I want my mind to be transferred. I don't want to

  479. be living and worried. My mind is messed up. My mind is focusing

  480. on every problem. And I've gone to this and I've read every book about

  481. this. But the problem is is that these books aren't helping me. Can

  482. I tell you there's something only the word of God can do the Word of

  483. God does not treat your mind. The word of God transforms your mind.

  484. Oh you've been treating yourself, but you found that there's not a treatment that

  485. can help you. But can I tell you there's one that what He puts

  486. his hand on you, and he declares that you are clean. He saves

  487. you spirit, soul, and body. He wants to transform you. With

  488. every hit bown and everybody closed, no one looking around. He say,

  489. Pastor, today, I want to surrender my life to God. Please bow

  490. your heads with me, he said, Pastor, that's me. I want

  491. relationship with God. Listen, he just wants you. What do I give

  492. him? You give him your surrender. You ain't got to clean it up

  493. you ain't gotta fix it up. You just gotta surrender. He said,

  494. that's me, fastor I want to surrender with every hit, bout of every

  495. id, clothed, no one look around, he said, that's me.

  496. Just raise your hand right now, come on, come on, come on,

  497. come on, thank you, thank you, thank you, hands going

  498. up, m thank you. Jesus. Put those hands down. I'm telling

  499. you them. There's some people in this room. You've been dealing with worry.

  500. You are so worried about whatever it is. Can I tell you today

  501. God wants to you to move from worry to worship. You can't change anything

  502. by worry. Worry is like paying a down payment on a problem that hasn't

  503. even happened. And today the enemy has been sowing seeds about what if?

  504. What about this? What about that? What about your children? What about

  505. the school? What about the job? What about the spouse? What about

  506. the marriage. He's got you so vexed, so worked up. He's choking

  507. out the seed, he's choking out your peace, he's choking out your joy.

  508. And today, in the name of Jesus, how you gonna get out

  509. of that? You're gonna worship your way out. You're gonna worship your way

  510. out. I didn't say you're gonna feel your way out. You're gonna worship

  511. your way. You're gonna begin to declare who God is over that situation.

  512. God, I surrender it to you. I give it to you, and

  513. then I give you my kids. I don't care how they act. I

  514. don't care what they say. I don't care if they cust me out.

  515. I don't care if they're going to the bars. I don't care if they're

  516. sleeping around. God, you said that if I sow the seed in them,

  517. God, that they will not return. They will not return broken.

  518. But God, they will come back to you today. God, you're the

  519. God of the prodigal and God, I just surrender. I'm giving you my

  520. worship. I'm declaring your faithful. I wish I had some people in this

  521. room. We'll just go ahead and just open up your mouth and me to

  522. declare who God is over your situation. Come on, come on, God

  523. wanted to hear your faith declaring who he is. Come on, come on,

  524. come on, come on, come on, come on, let your

  525. worship out. Come on the enemies afraid of your worship, come on,

  526. come on, just worship your way out. Come on, just worship your

  527. way out. Come on, I worship you today. I worship you today.

  528. I worship you today. Come on, come on, get your worship.
