So we were speaking about the situation with
-
my daughter and my husband. And there goes Belen.
-
No. No. I'm not going to do that. Because I don't
-
feel like that's from God. Very proud about this.
-
I don't perceive this is from God. With the spiritual
-
vocabulary and everything. Very holy. But in
-
reality, what was there is something that I didn't
-
want to let go. But you know in the family that
-
you argue with the family. I don't know if that
-
happens to you. I don't know if that happens
-
in Alaska. It does happen in my house. Sometimes
-
we have some arguments. Sometimes we have things
-
when we can see each other face to face. So I
-
was there saying, I don't feel this is from God.
-
And my husband, very wise. Okay, let's go and
-
pray. So we continue talking. We continue talking
-
about this. So we said, let's go and pray. We
-
pray a very simple prayer. Very simple. And on
-
the next day, when I woke up, I was able to see
-
the point of view of the other people that were
-
involved. And then I said, okay, Lord, I think
-
I wasn't able to talk to them that day. But then
-
later when I was able to talk to them, I told
-
him, I changed my point of view. I said to him,
-
okay, I'm gonna do it. I already captured what
-
you're trying to say. But the moment you allow
-
God to come into the picture. Look, God is in
-
me personally, removing all traces of religion.
-
You know that religion may destroy homes. And
-
this topic, I'm very passionate about this topic.
-
And it's about family. I don't know why I'm going
-
that way. But what I perceive right now, that
-
there are marriages here where they haven't been
-
able to be in agreement. where there has been
-
disagreements. But unfortunately, the old way
-
of living, the way they used to live before,
-
doesn't allow us to come and see the point of
-
view of the other person. And that can involve
-
so many things. And this makes me so passionate
-
with children. With the youth. You know that
-
I'm about having to correct. And that's why we're
-
parents. And that's why we're here to educate.
-
That's why we're here to form the character.
-
But sometimes religion, it has blinded or seared
-
our mind and our understanding. And we're very
-
harsh with our own children. We don't even give
-
them room for them to open to us and allow them
-
to hear them. And see the verse that is coming
-
to my mind. I don't have the exact verse. But
-
it says not to bring our children to rest. Then
-
you ask yourself, Why do I have a child that
-
is in rebellion? Why is my child closing up?
-
Why is it that my husband is not opening up himself
-
to me anymore? Why my wife is not opening herself
-
to me? Sometimes it's because we're so seared
-
and we're so blinded. And that happened before
-
Christ. That is the nature before Christ. I can
-
assure you that if you go to the presence of
-
God, the first thing God is gonna do with you,
-
he's gonna incline his ears, and he's gonna hear
-
whatever you have to say. It says draw closer
-
to me and you know the verses that we have. The
-
verse that says bring your burden before me.
-
So many verses. And now I can't remember any.
-
Where he says to carry his yoke that is light
-
and easy. And when you go and you take your own
-
yoke that is heavy, He's open to receive that
-
burden. And many times our children, our spouses,
-
or our wives, they have so many burdens. But
-
our mentality, oh no, It shouldn't be this way
-
in our house. You're closing the door. Please
-
don't close the door to your children. Out there,
-
there are many open doors. Many open doors. And
-
I'm not speaking about. Just only young adults.
-
This starts when you are a child. You want to
-
restore family? Let's change the way we think.
-
So it requires obedience. It requires dying to
-
self. And let's go to Matthew 16, 24. Listen
-
to your children. Listen to your wife. Your wife
-
has so many things to tell you. It's not that
-
she wants to be a pain reader and she's, you
-
know, she's being an egg and she doesn't allow
-
you to watch the game. It's not this old lady
-
that doesn't allow me to watch Facebook. Turn
-
off Facebook. And allow Jesus to renew your mind.
-
And tell her, yes love, what do you want to tell
-
me? I listen to you. Because that is Jesus renewing
-
your mind. How many of us have heard about the
-
family altar? And it's funny, because I don't
-
know if this happened to you before, but this
-
has happened to me in my house. And suddenly
-
we're going to go and pray. If you want your
-
child to pray with you, listen to him or her
-
first. Don't punish them just because that's
-
the way you think it should be. Listen before.
-
This is part of the renewal of the mind. This
-
is part of the understanding. Understand what
-
my child is trying to tell me. Imagine if you
-
open yourself as Jesus listens to you. And your
-
child has to come to you. And that your child
-
can trust you so much as a parent. He knows that
-
you're not gonna come and judge. That he can
-
feel such freedom. That he can tell you, mom,
-
dad, I'm battling with pornography. What do you
-
do in that case? If your child comes with something
-
like this, I can assure you the first thing we
-
do is because of that phone. It's because of
-
your friends. And we blame everyone else. And
-
what about us? Where was I that I didn't take
-
care of you? Because we were raised with this
-
mentality. Things are done this way and this
-
is the way we're gonna do them. And if you're
-
battling... with lost. I'm going to punish you.
-
We won't allow that here. We won't allow sin.
-
Of course we don't allow sin. for you not to
-
allow sin. First, you have to deal with that.
-
How does Jesus deal with your sins? How many
-
times have you gone to the presence of the Lord?
-
Lord, remove jealousy. Lord, remove envy from
-
my heart. And men of God, I saw another woman.
-
I saw some skirts and it caught my attention.
-
How does the Messiah act with you? Elder was
-
reading. How does he act? As Isaiah 53. He was
-
despised amongst men. He was a man of sorrow.
-
was over his body. That's how Jesus deals with
-
your sin. The Messiah is not there to stone you.
-
The Messiah, he confronted the Pharisees that
-
they did have the mind to go and judge. That
-
they had the finger to accuse. That was the nature
-
of the first Adam. So when you encounter a situation
-
with your children, that your spouse, you, your
-
wife, or your husband, they have the ability
-
to come and say, I saw this woman. I saw this
-
man, and he called my attention what he told
-
me. What's going to be your reaction? The first
-
Adam? The first one that's going to stone, or
-
the second atom, that is going to cast the stone
-
the other way, that's going to be in the middle,
-
and it's going to say, you know what? I'm here
-
to listen to you. Let's pray about this together.
-
The devil is not going to come. Love your heart.
-
That is the sacrifice of the cross. That is the
-
mind of the cross. The cross speaks love. Once
-
and forever. The cross is as much for you, for
-
your husband as well, for your wife, for your
-
children. The cross is present. Let me tell you,
-
if you incline your ear, you lend your ear to
-
your children, practice the renewed mind. And
-
don't think this is going to happen overnight.
-
Because sometimes we have broken relationships.
-
And part of being in the vine and us being the
-
branches is bearing fruit. And it's fruit of
-
repentance. And it's fruit that remains. It's
-
how you maintain. That's why we have to work
-
for this. No trabajar porque en sí el Mesías
-
ya hizo el trabajo. We don't really have to work
-
because the Messiah already did the work. We
-
just have to obey. We have to take on the new
-
man. It sounds very beautiful the way I say it
-
from here. So let's see what happens tomorrow
-
when I get up. But I am under the blood of the
-
second Adam. And so are you. You have access
-
to the blood of the second Adam. You have access
-
to the mind of the second Adam, to the mind of
-
love, to the mind that suffers all, that can
-
do all, that can bear everything, to the mind
-
of 1 Corinthians 13. And one of the verses says
-
that the prophecies shall pass away. But the
-
only thing that will remain will be faith, hope,
-
and love. You are love. You don't believe that
-
lie. You're not under the first Adam. You are
-
now under the second Adam. The second Adam loves,
-
confronts, forgives, restores. Now I understand
-
why the Lord is taking us to the transformation
-
of the mind. Because in this time we're speaking
-
about a revival. And revival can start without
-
repentance. And repentance sometimes we're going
-
to feel pain. Sometimes you're gonna feel like
-
crying, but it doesn't remain just there. It
-
is practiced. But this is what I believe the
-
Lord wants to speak to us about. For the revival,
-
remember this is not gonna be. with singers.
-
It will not be with preachers. It will not be
-
with pastors. The Lord has already spoken that
-
this is going to be with people that are not
-
known and known people. But these are people
-
that are willing to allow the mind of Christ
-
to be formed in us and revival so at home. Revival
-
starts in my house. It starts in your house.
-
You know the Lord ministered to me one thing
-
some time ago. It's so easy sometimes to express
-
love to others or compassion to others. where
-
it matters most. But sometimes we don't express
-
compassion where it's more important, most important.
-
And it says, you shall be witnesses in Jerusalem
-
first. Jerusalem is your house. Jerusalem is
-
your husband. Jerusalem is your wife. Jerusalem
-
is your child, your daughter. You're praying
-
for him to come. Come to Jesus. You already prayed
-
for your children to come back to Jesus. Now
-
love them. Love on them. You already prayed and
-
said to your husband or wife whatever you needed
-
to say. Now love on them. This is the mind of
-
Christ. This is the mind of Jesus. It's just
-
putting off the former man. You know, when I
-
was reading all this, when Adam was subject to
-
the kingdom of darkness, And I was reading Romans
-
12 too. And it says, do not be conformed to this
-
world. But I was able to see this in a different
-
way. I saw it this way, when I don't renew my
-
mind, I'm still subject to the world. I'm still
-
subject to the... a kingdom of darkness. But
-
when I saw Romans 12 -2 again, I saw it from
-
a different perspective. I saw it as Jesus saying,
-
do not be conformed. Do not be conformed to that.
-
You don't belong there. Your mind does not belong
-
to that world. Your mind wants translated somewhere
-
else. I changed it because the desire of Jesus
-
is that we experience the fullness of the mind
-
of the Messiah, the fullness of the mind of the
-
Father. This week I was battling with this thought.
-
I would say, Lord, I renounce this thought. And
-
I accept what you're saying. I'm from my spirit.
-
phrase came out and I said Lord my mind is beautiful.
-
My mind is beautiful. Your mind is beautiful
-
because it's no longer your mind. It's the mind
-
of Christ in you. It's the mind of love in you.
-
And like I was telling you, the mind carries
-
an atmosphere. What atmosphere carries the mind
-
of Christ? It carries the fragrance. It carries
-
purity. It carries simplicity. It carries hearing
-
others. It doesn't just cast a stone, but it
-
embraces. I want to ask you there where you're
-
at. Close your eyes. Close your eyes. And I know
-
that the Lord is asking you for changes in your
-
mind. What are those thoughts? The patterns?
-
The attitudes? Don't criticize anymore. Don't
-
criticize anymore. Just love him. Just love her.
-
Allow Jesus to minister. Sometimes we come with
-
so many burdens to the house of the Lord. We're
-
so burdened. So much oppression. And it's because
-
of the mind. Everything is in the mind. Everything
-
is there. But today is the day where Jesus is
-
introducing us to the grace To be able to put
-
off the former man. And to put on the new man.
-
So there where you're at.
