  1. Welcome to Burning Lab Podcast. A daily refresh

  2. for your life. Jesus is the center of everything

  3. we do. Burning Lab Church. I am so honored to

  4. be here. Very honored to be here. To be in the

  5. house. of the Lord, and to be a part of, well,

  6. I'm just going to say it, to be a part of Apostle

  7. Daniel's life, he is, that's worth laughing at.

  8. He is truly an example of biblical humility.

  9. It's almost hard for me to believe that this

  10. is 2025 and I've known him for what would be

  11. 15 to 16 years. Back then my hair was black,

  12. totally black, and now I'm a little older. and

  13. to see him grow in the Lord and to see all of

  14. you here that have stuck with him and his family.

  15. You too must be saluted. Thank God for all of

  16. you. It would be remiss of me if I didn't do

  17. this. There is a woman in this house, an interesting

  18. woman, an unusual woman. I've been with her for

  19. 44 years. We met when we were 10. Oh, I can't

  20. say 10. This is a miracle. But we met when we

  21. were very young. We've traveled the world together.

  22. We've passed it together. We had a Bible school

  23. in London. She was the co -founder of everything.

  24. And so, putting it in a nutshell, when I was

  25. 18, I met my rib. I wasn't looking for a rib.

  26. I was only 18. But God put us together, and so

  27. I want to show her off to you. Dr. Marina, stand

  28. up please. The Lord bless you. The Lord bless

  29. you. The Lord bless you. Well, I want to share

  30. with you something that's very very important

  31. How many of you here know? relevancy Relevancy

  32. is a very interesting word Relevance Significance

  33. very important. Every one of you here, no matter

  34. how old or how young you are, you are of great

  35. spiritual significance because of the time that

  36. we are in. When something new starts, it has

  37. to have a foundation. And so I wanna just put

  38. something in the foundation of your church. You

  39. already have a foundation, but I'm gonna add

  40. something into it and build a little bit upon

  41. it. If you have your Bibles with you, please

  42. go with me to Matthew chapter 16. Matthew 16,

    Matthew 16 chapter mention

  43. and we're going to start from verse 13. And before

  44. I read this to you, the revelation Come forward

  45. with me down. I want you to catch me in the spirit.

  46. Stay by me. Come close to me. I will not bite

  47. you. Stay here. All right. All right. All right.

  48. Now listen to this. This is important. The continuation

  49. of Jesus is a revelation. We are going to forever

  50. learn who He is. I feel old every time I say

  51. this. I got saved in 1969. By the look of this

  52. church, most of you were not even in existence

  53. then. and I was called to ministry in the year

  54. 1972. I had a supernatural experience. I have

  55. seen the Lord. As clear as you see me, I have

  56. seen the Lord. I've been to heaven. That's how

  57. my ministry was born. Through supernatural experiences.

  58. But hear me, that was over 50 years ago. The

  59. issue is, do I know him now? What is the revelation

  60. of Jesus now? the significance of the church

  61. to every generation is the revelation of Jesus

  62. in the now. Today there is what I call a lot

  63. of historical knowledge. But there's very little

  64. now knowledge. Because you don't have the now

  65. knowledge of Jesus if you've not had an encounter.

  66. And encounters are continual. You never park

  67. in an encounter God can deposit something in

  68. you, but it can take you years to unpack Because

  69. there's so much of him to be revealed There's

  70. so much of him that the church doesn't know or

  71. I dare say even believe. So the question is,

  72. what is the now revelation of Jesus? And I'm

  73. speaking like this to give you a foundation or

  74. something, I'm gonna say. There are different

  75. levels of knowledge. an intelligence. There's

  76. what I call doctrinal intelligence, which simply

  77. means the knowledge of the scripture. Do you

  78. remember when Jesus would speak to the Pharisees

  79. and they would try to get under his skin? What

  80. did he always say? Go search the scriptures.

  81. Today in the church world, there's very little

  82. searching of scripture. because we've parked

  83. in the past truth so we're not in the present

  84. truth of Jesus. And then there's what I call

  85. prophetic intelligence. That is the knowledge

  86. of the future. That's what we call prophetic

  87. intelligence Are you following me with this?

  88. Now let me make it even clearer That's why the

  89. Bible says He who was He who is and he who is

  90. to come Excuse me, I gotta be calm prophetic

  91. intelligence. When he came 2 ,000 years ago,

  92. he came as the lamb. In the future, he's not

  93. coming as the lamb. Prophetic intelligence. And

  94. then there's what I call revitory intelligence.

  95. Revitory intelligence is simply this. It's the

  96. ability to understand the now and the future

  97. of God and interpret it to the present. Not many

  98. people can do that. But there is somebody who

  99. is in you who wants to give you that level of

  100. intelligence. His name is the Holy Spirit. And

  101. Jesus said, when the Holy Spirit comes, He will

  102. tell you and show you what is to come. He who

  103. was, He who is, and He who is to come. Now, How

  104. we know Him affects the transition of the church.

  105. See, let me give you a simple example. In the

  106. earth, there are priests and there's a high priest.

  107. But in heaven, there's a great high priest. a

  108. mega priest, an unusual priest. His priesthood

  109. is in the heavens while ours is in the earth.

  110. So our priesthood is tied to us knowing him.

  111. Our sonship is taught to him. But it's how we

  112. know him. Because everything in the Bible, connected

  113. to God, revolves around one word. Identity. That's

  114. the first trick the devil pulled in the garden.

  115. He said to Adam, you will be as God. Adam forgot.

  116. He was the image and likeness of God. Watch this

  117. now. Where you stop relating to God is where

  118. you start to backslide. That's the key to spiritual

  119. power, identity. So when our identity is gone,

  120. we're a powerless people. So the question is,

  121. who is Jesus in this now? My God. Who is Jesus

  122. according to prophecy? And where is the church

  123. in prophecy? They can't be separated because

  124. He's the head of the same body which we know

  125. as the church. So we're going to go into the

  126. word today. And it starts out like this. Math

  127. remember that Matthew. What did I say Matthew

  128. 16? Matthew 16 verse 13 and this is what it says

    Matthew 16:13

  129. When Jesus came into the region and I want you

  130. to mark that word region of Caesar where I Philippi

  131. Now I want you to understand, oh my God this

  132. is so powerful, I want you to get a hold of this

  133. truth today. Israel was under Roman rule, under

  134. Roman occupation. And one of the things that

  135. was done then is when you take over a territory,

  136. you bring your world to that region. So a lot

  137. of Jewish things, as we would say, really were

  138. not there. Notice the terminology, Caesar I Philippi.

  139. Israel was heavily under Roman rule. Notice the

  140. term Caesar, Caesarea. Notice the terminology,

  141. as in Caesar. You good? Now, this is how they

  142. were. This is a very powerful truth. Their understanding

  143. of gods was that the gods were territorial. They

  144. had no concept of the Almighty. Like in Egyptian

  145. culture, there was the god of denial. The sun

  146. was a god. I better be careful. See, that's why

  147. in... That's how we got the day Sunday. It's

  148. all paganized. Monday was after the moon god.

  149. So the region what we're looking at is very important.

  150. So they came into this region where there were

  151. multiple statues of Roman gods. And it's in that

  152. context he asks the question, who do you say

  153. that I am? Isn't that interesting? Back then,

  154. they had a choice of gods. Interesting thing,

  155. their gods were man -made. So Jesus said, visualize

  156. now, looking around, Zeus here, Look at all these

  157. gods and statues. I remember to a Jewish mind,

  158. he said, don't worship any what? Images. So you

  159. can imagine how a Jewish mind saw this. So he

  160. then said, who do you say that I am? Now please

  161. listen because this is powerful. Who do men say

  162. that I the Son of Man am? Mark that in your Bible.

  163. Mark it in your Bible. In Hebrew, the term Son

  164. of Man is code for the word Messiah. And I was,

  165. Jesus gave away in the question that he was asking,

  166. but they couldn't see it. Please listen to this.

  167. Because today, Today, this is what the world

  168. is asking. In the light of what we see in the

  169. earth, who is Jesus? Who is Jesus? In other words,

  170. relevancy is being lost. Respect is gone. Reverence

  171. is gone. Now, Jesus is considered an historical

  172. figure. Watch this now. And that's why to a lot

  173. of people right now, the church is a thing of

  174. the past. The church. and its relevance. Who

  175. He is in the heavens is what we are in the earth.

  176. That's the only way the kingdom can come. Now

  177. hear now what He goes on to say. Some say John

  178. the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others Jeremiah

  179. or one of the prophets. Now listen to this because

  180. it's powerful. The Pharisees didn't like him

  181. But the Pharisees respected him as a teacher.

  182. But the people, because of these miracles, called

  183. him a prophet. That was an exciting amen. Did

  184. you get this? This is very important. Because

  185. Moses said, There's going to come a prophet like

  186. me. He wasn't a teacher, but it was what their

  187. intellect could take. That explains today why

  188. most people can take teaching but they cannot

  189. take a prophet. These are things that must be

  190. understood. So who do you say that I am? And

  191. why do you say it? What's my evidence? And it's

  192. very interesting. He didn't ask people who didn't

  193. know him this question, he asked this question

  194. to those who followed him. Not everybody that

  195. follows you is your disciple. We learned that

  196. from Facebook today. Because you follow me, it

  197. doesn't mean you are my disciple. We are told

  198. to make disciples, not followers. It always makes

  199. me and Marina laugh. When they say, We followed

  200. you from afar, we've known you for years. Now

  201. see how I hear that, I don't have any connection

  202. to you. You're just a follower. You're not a

  203. disciple. You don't know what I teach. You've

  204. not received the impartation. You're just a follower.

  205. So I can't take you as a follower into my holies

  206. of holies because you don't know me. Okay, now

  207. when he asks this question, They had already

  208. seen him raise the dead. They were there when

  209. he turned water into wine. And yet, all they

  210. could do was relegate him to a prophet. They

  211. didn't know him. Hear me clearly. It is possible

  212. to come to church and not know Him. It's possible

  213. to sing and shout and not know Him. And I want

  214. you to listen to this real good. One of the key

  215. words today for you to have spiritual sanity.

  216. In the days that we are living in, is the word

  217. no. Not no, but KNO. Sorry, K -N -O -W. You must

  218. know in order to stand. You have to, I feel it

  219. in the spirit. You have to know when the doctor

  220. gives you a bad report, you've got to know by

  221. those stripes you were healed. When you sow your

  222. seed, you've got to know that if you sow, you

  223. are going to reap. You have got to know when

  224. you lay hands on the seed, they are going to

  225. recover. You have to know. I said you have to

  226. know because there is no doubt where you know.
