JEHOVAH - Jehovah Jireh - The Lord our Provider // One Church Podcast, 7th August 2023

You, Lord, are forgiving and good.

Abounding in love to all who call to you, so why not if

you're able? If it's appropriate, why not

take a moment and maybe even pause this podcast and allow God

to remind you of His forgiveness, His goodness, and

His abounding love to you? This week's message comes from

Philippa, recorded at one Church Oadby on Sunday the 6th of

August. We pray that you would hear God

speaking to you as you listen. This morning we're continuing

our preaching series on the names of God, and last week we

looked at Jehova nisi, which the Lord is our banner.

This idea of lifting up the name of the Lord over all situations.

We can lift him up when we are weak, we can lift him up when we

are at war, and also when we worship.

The Lord is our banner Jehova nisi.

And today we're looking at a different name.

But I love this morning already from the very beginning at the

welcome to also the worship as well.

It was very much about lifting up the name of God.

It says in Psalm 34. Glorify the Lord let us exalt

his name together. Psalm 138.

For you have exalted above all things your name and your word.

And Philippians too tells us that the name of Jesus is the

name above all names. There is power when we declare.

God's name above all things. And today we're going to be

looking at Jehovah Gyra. The Lord is our provider, but I

just felt yesterday that God just remind me of another one of

his names. I just wanted to share before we

get into today's passage and today's message In Genesis

Genesis 16 · chapter mention

chapter 16. If you've never read it, we meet

a woman called Hagar. And basically, I might refer to

this a little bit later on, but God made a promise.

To somebody. But instead of trusting God that

he would fulfill his promise, people decided to try and and

sort out the situation by themselves.

And it led to a bit of a mess and it led to a woman called

Hagar getting hurt and running away.

And as she was running away an Angel of the Lord appeared to

her and spoke to her. And this encounter led her to

give God the name Al Roy, which means you are the God who sees

me. And I just really felt just to

remind somebody in the room today that God is the God who

sees you. It can sometimes be easy in a

crowd of people to think no one understands exactly what I'm

going through. Or you can say that, but you

don't know what it means in my life or you don't know what's

happening to me right now. And I just felt God wanted to

remind somebody. Today.

He is Al Roy, the God who sees you.

And you are not hidden from him. You're not lost in a crowd when

it comes to God, but he sees you.

He is the God who sees you. Wonderful.

Well, Jehovah Gyra the Lord is my provider.

Or Jehovah Gyra on the mountain of the Lord.

It will be provided. Does anyone here love mountains?

Anyone love climbing mountains? Anyone.

A successful mountain climber, to be honest.

Not 100% sure I see the attraction.

Maybe I've got something to learn.

So I asked Google. Google.

Why do people climb mountains? It can be the most rewarding

thing some people have ever done.

Apparently it takes us to a place of incredible beauty, and

it challenges us to find untapped reserves of strength

and resources and hope you're ready for the sentence.

It's plain fun. When we think of mountain

climbing in the UK, you know, we don't have any records

necessarily, but I think most people would say that it doesn't

get better than the Three Peaks. And we are going to go on our

own three peak adventure through the Bible as we seek to think

about Jehovah Gyra, the Lord, our provider.

I've got good news. It involves no physical

climbing. We're all right.

We can stay relaxed and chilled. But we are going to look at

three peaks in the Bible and look at Jehovah Gyra.

And so if you want, maybe a catchy away, although slightly

cheesier way of remembering today's messages, Jehovah Gyra,

the three peak Provider. We're going to start on Mountain

#1, the mounts of by attitudes and we're going to see that God

is our daily gyra. This is a mountain famous for a

particular preach. The Sermon on the Mount.

And no one can be 100% sure exactly where this mountain is,

but when Tom and I were first married, we had the joy of

traveling to Israel and we went to the Mount of the Attitudes

where there is a church where they think this sermon was

preached and it's a church was built there to commemorate it.

And it is a beautiful mountain and all around the mountain I

remember it being very luscious. There's lots of greenery and

flowers and trees. And all around the mountainside,

along the path, there's these little plaques that have little

quotes from the Sermon on the Mount.

But Jesus is teaching the crowd. And we're going to look in

Matthew chapter 5, and we're going to see that on this

Matthew 5 · chapter mention

mountain, on our first peak, Jehovah is our daily gyra, our

daily provider. This is what it says now,

Matthew 5, verse one. Now when Jesus saw the crowds,

he went up on a mountainside and sat down.

His disciples came to him and he began to teach them.

Now, if you've never read the film on the Mount, I'd really

encourage you to find some time to read it.

It's in Matthew chapter 5 and it's basically Jesus sitting

down and teaching people what the Kingdom of God looks like.

It's almost like he's presenting the Kingdom of God Manifesto.

This is what God's way of living should look like.

This is how his. Ordained way of things should

be. He resets moral standards.

He gives instructions on how to live a life that brings glory to

God. There's so much wisdom to be

found and then he gets onto the subject of money.

Here we go, Matthew, chapter 6, verse 25 to 33.

Matthew 6:25–33

It will come up on the screen. Therefore, I tell you, do not

worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your

body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and

the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air.

They do not sew or reap or store away in barns.

And yet your Heavenly Father feeds them.

Are you not much more valuable than they can anyone of you by

worrying at a single hour to your life?

And why do you worry about clothes?

See how the flowers of the field grow.

They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even

Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

If that is how God closed the grass of the field which is here

today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much

more clothe you So do not worry, saying, What shall we eat, Or

what shall we drink, Or what shall we wear?

For the pagans run after all these things, and your Heavenly

Father knows that you need them. But seek first his Kingdom and

his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as

well. A few weeks ago in Little Stars,

which is our Under fives group here at one church, we said this

phrase God looks after the birds and the flowers and God looks

after me too. And it's true, we can look

around in creation. We can look at the birds, We can

look at the flowers and know God's promise.

If he cares for them, how much more important are we to him?

He is going to continue to care for us too.

I have a bit of a bad reputation I think when it comes to flowers

and people come up to me and say give me tips of how to look

after flowers, it doesn't work. However, I would like to just

say that our garden at the moment is blooming.

It's flourishing. I even had to cut away.

At some flowers today. Gotta tell you this.

It had nothing to do with me. I didn't do anything.

It's all that miserable weather. That's where it came from.

Thank you. I know that people might not be

enjoying their holidays, but my garden is full of life, so I'm

very grateful. God sent rain to look after my

flowers and now they are flourishing.

But God looks after us. Just like he looks after the

birds. Just like he looks after the

flowers, He looks after us. I've really enjoyed different

conversations this week with people talking about the

blessings of God, and it's been so enjoyable just to listen to

people share how God has provided for them, how God has

always looked after them, how God has abundantly blessed

different people. And the first conversation I had

was about tithing here at one church.

We don't say people have to give.

We don't pressure people, but we give people the opportunity to

discover the blessing of what happens when we give to God

something that matters to us, when we give him our resources.

It's amazing. The journey of tithing How much

more God can do with the 90% than we could ever do ourselves

with the 100%? It's completely counter

cultural. Why would you want to take away

from what you have? But somehow in the economies of

the Kingdom of God he doesn't see it as a subtraction.

Instead, because God is God, our daily Gyra, He multiplies what

we give Him, and His promise is this if we seek first His

Kingdom. And His righteousness, all these

other things will be added to us when we give in to the local

church. We're seeing the Kingdom of God

advance here on earth and as we seek Him first by being generous

to others as we make wise, ethical decisions, As we're not

driven by a desire for more money, but a desire to live

right and to be a blessing to those around us.

All these other things will be added onto us.

It is the promise on the 1st mountain peak.

Seek first my Kingdom, my righteousness, and all these

other things. Your daily needs, what you'll

wear, what you'll eat, that all be added to you as well.

The second conversation I had with someone about blessing.

Was about how God doesn't just give us a little bit, He doesn't

just give us enough, but God answers our prayers.

He gives us exactly what we need.

Later on on the Sermon of the Mount, Jesus continues and says

this in Matthew 7, verse nine. Which of you, if your son asks

for bread, will give him a stone?

Or if he asks for a fish, we'll give him a snake.

If you then that you are evil, know how to give good gifts to

your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give

good gifts to those who ask him? Our Father, our Gyra, Jehovah,

Jira, the God who provides our daily needs, doesn't just give

us the scraps. He doesn't just give us enough.

To get by, He is the God who gives good gifts to the children

who ask him for them. And I just want to encourage us.

And I was talking with this person about how we can ask God

for things, we can ask him for big things.

And then my encouragement to you is wait and see what God does.

Sometimes we kind of ex say God's knows for him recently at

school and our daughters are moving into a new class next

year. And I really wanted my eldest

daughter to have a specific teacher.

And I was praying that she'd have this specific teacher.

And I wanted to tell her that's who I was praying for.

But something in me thought to myself, oh, no, I want to say to

her, Annabelle, I'm praying that you have this teacher.

But what happens if God doesn't give her that teacher?

And I was hesitant to say to her or this is what I'm praying for

because I didn't want her faith to be, not because I didn't want

her to think that God doesn't answer our prayers.

But I just felt God say to me, why are you saying my no for me?

And why are you denying her the opportunity to see her faith

built? And so I said to her, Annabelle,

I'm praying that you're going to get this teacher.

And she opened up her piece of paper that said what class she

was in and she looked at me and she said, Mum, that's who we

prayed I would get. And I said, I know, isn't that

amazing? And I'm not guaranteeing that

God, it's not like a wish list that we say I wish this would

happen and magically it appears. But I do know this God gives

good gifts to his children, the right gifts.

But I want to encourage us. Let's build our faith with by

being specific, asking God for things, knowing that he doesn't

just provide for our daily needs, but he wants to give good

gifts to the children that ask him.

And I was just reminded of another story when we had our

second child. And we need a double pushchair.

So I said, God, would you, would you give us a double pushchair?

That's what we need. And I was in a staff meeting and

someone said to us, I have a double pushchair.

Would you like it? And I was like, yeah, I would

actually like, that's what we've been praying for.

And so I went home. I just said to myself, God, I

really hope it's a Phil and Ted's pushchair, because that's

what I really would like. I went back to them and they

gave us this pushchair and it was a lovely pushchair, but it

wasn't effluent Ted's pushchair. But anyway, I was like, God,

thank you so much for providing us with this pushchair.

I'm really grateful. I said thank you to the person.

And then on Sunday I happened to be in one of our one church

sites. And at the end of the service I

remember having coffee at the back and someone came up to me

and said we were in that garage the other day and we have a

pushchair, a double pushchair. Are you in need of 1?

And I said, well, to be honest, someone has just given US1.

So thank you, but I think we're OK.

And they said it's a Phil and Ted's pushchair.

Are you interested? And I just love the fact that to

God, I wasn't being greedy, I wasn't being ungrateful.

I was, I was giving him a specific need that I really

wanted because I wanted it for a specific reason.

And God, who hears His children, whose promise is to be our

Jehovah Gyra, our daily provider, He provides for our

knees, but He doesn't just give us the scraps.

He longs to give good gifts to his children, so my

encouragement is to you. Trust that He is your daily

gyre, but also ask Him. Be bold in your asking and trust

that he loves to give good gifts to his children.

This is what I want to say today.

You can stand on the mountain of your daily needs, and as you put

God first, trust that He will care for your needs and not just

the bare minimum. But he loves to give good gifts

to those who ask Him. On peak number one, we see

Jehovah Jira, our daily provider to the next peak.

How can we be confident that God will provide?

How can we be sure of it? How do we trust Him with our

daily needs? Well, it's in His name.

He is Jehovah Jira, the Lord our provider, and we're going to go

to our second mountain to find out when this name was given to

God. It's the only time this name

appears in the whole of the Bible.

On Mount Moriah, on peak #2, we discover that God in the test

and trial is that miraculous provider.

I spoke earlier about a promise that God made to somebody and it

led to mess and Hagar running away.

Well, in Genesis we see that God chooses a people for himself, a

special people set apart, and he makes a promise to a man called

Abraham. That he will have many

descendants and make him into a great nation.

The problem is Abraham has no children.

God promises that he is going to make him into a great nation,

and his descendants will outnumber the grains of sand and

the stars in the sky. But he has no kids.

But God is a faithful God, a God who is faithful to his promises.

And even though temporarily, Abraham tries to make it happen

by himself, which leads to the mess.

Eventually God fulfills his promises.

It says in Genesis 19, God, as he had said, gave Sarah a baby

and say Abraham and Sarah have a son.

His name is Isaac because God is a faithful God who keeps his

promises. And then we join the story in

Genesis chapter 22 where God tests Abraham and we're going to

Genesis 22 · chapter mention

read it together and bring some thoughts out from this passage

about Jehovah Gyra and Miraculous Provider.

We're in Genesis chapter 22. Sometime later, God tested

Genesis 22 · chapter mention

Abraham. He said to him.

Abraham, here I am, he replied. And then God said, take your

son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the

region of Mariah. Sacrifice him there as a burn

offering on a mountain. I will show you it's quite a big

request from God. He doesn't say what Abraham's

initial response was. I don't know.

All it says is this. His first response that is

recorded was one of obedience. It says this early the next

morning, Abraham got up and loaded his donkey.

I listened to someone speak about this and they said perhaps

he got up early so that Sarah didn't know what he was doing.

He's like, right, come on Isaac, quickly, let's get out of this

before your mother has something to say about this.

But his first recorded response was obedience.

Early the next morning, Abraham got up and loaded his donkey.

He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac.

When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out

for the place God had told him about.

On the third day. Abraham looked up and saw the

place in the distance. He said to his servants, stay

here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there.

We will worship and then we will come back to you.

Interesting that the order of things in this story mirrors

what Jesus says, that as we seek him first, then all these things

will be added unto him. In this story we see Abraham has

to obey first before he sees God provide miraculously, he has to

decide to obey. Sometimes when we're in the test

and trial, God asks us to do certain things and we can

question. We can say, Are you sure, God,

why? I can't do that.

You're asking too much of me. My encouragement here is at the

end of the story on the mountaintop.

We're going to see the miraculous provision, but

sometimes it takes us to step out and to be obedient to what

God is asking for us. Abraham's first response was

obedience. Secondly, Abraham had full

confidence in the promise keeping God.

He says this. Stay here.

We will worship, and then we will come back to you.

He had full confidence that him and his son would return.

It doesn't say I will come back to you.

It says we will come back to you.

And the reason why Abraham has full confidence in God in this

test and trial is he remembers that God is a faithful God.

He is a God who promised that he would have a son through whom he

would have many descendants and would make into a great nation.

And God fulfilled his promise. Abraham was 100 when God gave

him Isaac. It was 14 years after Abraham

tried to fulfill the promise his own way with Hagar and her son

Ishmael. And God is faithful to his

promise, and Abraham knew that he had to wait.

But eventually, as he had said, Sarah gave birth to a son.

He had full confidence in the promise keeping God, it says in

Hebrews 11. It kind of explains a little bit

of what Abraham maybe was going through by faith.

Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice.

He who would embrace the promises was about to sacrifice

his one and only son, even though God had said to him it is

through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.

Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead and so in a

manner of speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death.

I imagine what was going through Abraham's mind was this God.

You have said this. I trust that you are a God who

keeps your promises. So perhaps as I sacrifice Isaac,

maybe you're raising from the dead.

Maybe that's how you'll sort it out.

But I trust that you are going to make things OK.

I trust that you are going to fulfill your promises.

In the test and trial, Abraham was obedient.

In the test and trial Abraham had confidence we will return

because he knew that his God was a faithful promise keeping God.

Abraham continues and when the situation looked grim, Abraham

continued to trust that God would provide for God would see

to it. Verse 6.

Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed on his

son Isaac and he himself carried the fire and the knife.

As the two of them went on together, Isaac spoke up and

said to his father. Father.

Yes, my son, Abraham replied. The fire and wood are here,

Isaac said. But where is the lamb for the

burn offering? Abraham answered.

God himself will provide the lamb for the burn offering, my

son. And so the two of them went on

together. I can't imagine what it would

have been like for Isaac when things just, oh, how?

Put on a minute. I see what's happening here.

I see what's happening here. Dad.

What's what's gonna happen here? What is happening?

And Abraham's response is don't worry, son.

God will provide it. Sometimes because we read the

Bible in the language that it was not originally written, some

of our words don't always do justice to what God is intending

to say through His word. This word provide, it doesn't

give the full weight of what of what the Bible is trying to say

here. It actually it's not just God

will provide, as in God will give some say it is God will see

to it. I wonder, have you ever had a

problem and you've gone to somebody and they don't tell you

exactly how they're going to fix it.

They say don't worry, I'll see to it.

And some people, when they say that because you trust in them,

you know, actually I can leave that now.

I don't have to worry about it because they're on the job.

They'll see to it. It's like that with God will

provide. It's not just Jehovah Gyra God

will give us, it's Jehovah Gyra. God will see to it.

He'll sort that out. Abraham when things were looking

grim and when Isaac realized, hold on, what's going on here,

Abraham said this. Don't worry.

God will see to it. He's got this sorted.

Perhaps you're in the middle of your child and you need to be

reminded today. It's all right.

God says to you, I'll see to that.

I'll sort it out. And then Abraham gets to the top

of the mountain, and that's where he experiences miraculous

provision. When they reached the place God

had told him about, Abraham built an altar there and

arranged the wood on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid

him on the altar on top of the wood.

And then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his

son. But the Angel of the Lord called

out to him from heaven. Abraham.

Abraham. Here I am, he replied.

I picture this. I wouldn't when I think about

this story was like Abraham. Like how close do I have to get

to Isaac's body before you're going to intervene?

God, like surely this is time God.

Maybe he was hoping that on the way up, before he bound his

body, maybe God would intervene. But still it feels like God

waits until the last minute. But he does come through,

because he is a faithful promise keeping God.

Do not lay a hand on the boy, he said.

Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God,

because you've not withheld me from your son.

Your only son. And Abraham looked up, and there

in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns.

He went over, took the ram, sacrificed it as a burnt

offering instead of his son. The miraculous Jehovah Jira

promised keeping. God came through.

He saw to it, and a ram in the thicket came to the rescue.

And then it says this. Abraham called that place

Jehovah Gyra. The Lord will provide, and to

this day it is said on the mountain of the Lord it will be

provided. I read this quote this week and

I just wanted to read it. As it says it here Abraham names

the place after God's miraculous provision, not after his trial.

Abraham christened the anonymous mountaintop, not by a name that

reminded him or others of his trial, but by a name that

proclaimed God's deliverance, Jehovah Gyra.

He did not say anything about his agony or about his

obedience. Let us name the heights that lie

behind us, visible to memory by names that commemorate not the

troubles that we had on them, but the deliverances that on

them we received from God. Abraham was tested.

He went through a trial, but he trusted that God would see to

it. He trusted in his faithful

promise, keeping God. And sure enough, he stood on the

mountain and experienced miraculous provision.

And I love that. Then he chose to rename that

place. Not the place of.

Oh, God, you really had me going on that one.

I didn't know if you'd come through to me.

Not the place of well, God. I trusted you because I always

trust you. He chose to name the place.

This is the mountain of the Lord.

On the mountain of the Lord. It will be provided.

Jehovah Gyra, some thoughts for us today.

Are you being tested? Are you in the middle of a

trial? Well, let obedience be your

response. Have confidence that the

faithful Promise keeper will see to it.

And when you experience your miraculous provision, when you

see your ram in the thicket, maybe it's time to rename your

mountain. Not out of trial, not out of

agony. Don't call it all that you've

lost. Don't call it all that you've

gone through. Instead, call it Jehovah Gyra.

On the mountain of the Lord, it will be provided Jehovah.

He's our daily provider, our daily Gyra.

We see it in the birds, we see it in the flowers.

And we also hear His promise. I love to give good gifts to my

children who ask for them. We see Jehovah Gyra, our

miraculous provider. Abraham saw a miracle in his

test and trial, and we can also see miracles when we're tested.

When we find ourselves in a trial, we can have confidence

that as we obey the faithful promise keeping God, He will

provide for us. Jehovah Gyra, on the mountain of

the Lord, it will be provided. And now we arrive at Mountain

#3. God's miraculous provision of a

ram in a thicket that saved Abraham's only son was just a

foretaste of the lamb on the hill of Calvary, when God's only

son was sacrificed as the miraculous provision for all

people on mountain #2. On peak two we see that the ram

saved one boy. On Mountain peak #3 we see a

lamb who would go on to save the whole world.

John One verse 29, John the Baptist sees Jesus and he says

this. The next day John saw Jesus

coming toward him and said, look, the Lamb of God who takes

away the sin of the world, and three years later on Mountain

Peak #3, the hill of Calvary, or some know it as Golgotha in the

Bible, the Lamb of God, whom John the Baptist spoke about,

who preached on Mountain Peak number one about Jehovah, our

daily Gyra found himself on Mountain Peak #3, and it says

this in John 19, carrying his own cross, he went out to the

place of the school, which an Aramaic is called Golgotha.

There they crucified Him, and with two others, one on each

side, and Jesus in the middle. And to explain what happened on

Mountain Peak #3, we can look in Romans 5.

Therefore, since we have been justified 3 faiths, we have

peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we

have gained access by faith into His grace in which we now stand.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless,

Christ died on hill #3 for the ungodly.

Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a

good person someone might possibly dare to die.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this While we

were still sinners, Christ died for us, and through Him we have

now received reconciliation. When we think about Jehovah

gyra, our provider is sometimes easy for us to to think about

our daily needs. And it is so true.

We need a daily gyra. We need a daily provider, and

he's there for us. Then sometimes trials and tests

come along. And in those moments, we also

need to know that he is a miraculous gyra.

He provides for us when we don't see an option or a way out.

He comes through because he is a faithful God.

He is a God who keeps his promises in the test and trial.

He is our miraculous provider. But that's just a foretaste,

that story of what he did as being the ultimate gyra, our

eternity Gyra. That's the biggest need.

We have our biggest need. It's not about what we wear.

It's not about what we eat. It's not even about when things

seem very big in our heads and they are big when we face tests

and trials. Actually, Jehovah Gyra is more

than that. Jehovah Gyra paid the ultimate

price for us on the hill of Calvary and we can know today.

We can rejoice and say thank you.

He has met the biggest need I have.

He has paid the price for assins.

He died the death that we should have died.

He paid the price that we couldn't pay.

And now, because of what he has done, we have eternal life.

God's soul of the world, that on peak #3, on the hill of Calvary,

He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him

will not perish but have eternal life.

I am grateful. I am grateful for my Jehovah

Gyra, my eternity provider. Shall we pray together?

And you might want to bow your heads.

If it helps you just focus on the 33 mountain peaks that we're

going to declare Jehovah Gyras today.

First of all, we're going to go backwards Peak #3, the hill of

Calvary where salvation took place.

Perhaps today in this atmosphere, you just want to say

thank you to God that He provided for your biggest need.

He made you right with Him. And perhaps you find yourself

here today and you haven't actually yet confessed your

belief in Jesus. You haven't actually said out

loud I believe that God sent Jesus to die for me in my place

so that I could have eternal life.

Well, maybe you want to pray this prayer after me now.

And and maybe even if you've prayed it before, maybe you just

want to pray this prayer, the salvation prayer, thanking God

for what he did on the cross. Maybe you want to say this in

your heart after me. Lord Jesus, thank you that you

know me, and thank you that you love me.

I am sorry for my cinema stakes. Today.

I choose to accept the gift of life that you paid for on the

cross and to follow you as my Lord and Savior.

Help me to live a life that brings you glory in your name.

Amen. On the 2nd mountain peak, maybe

you are going through a significant test and trial.

Remember God's promise at the beginning.

I am the one who sees you. I might not understand what

you're going through, but there is a God in heaven who sees you.

Maybe you need to stand on that mountaintop today and say,

Jehovah, You are my gyro. You are my miraculous provider.

I'm going to obey you. I'm going to trust that you are

a faithful God, that you keep your promises, and I believe

that I will see your miraculous provision.

Or perhaps you've just come through a trial and and maybe

you've been wounded by it. You've been very hurt.

You've experienced loss. Whatever's happened to you and

you're remembering the agony and actually God would just love to

remind you today I've seen to that.

You can name that test. You can name that trial Jehovah

Gyra on the mountain of the Lord.

It will be provided. And finally, maybe today, you

want to stand on Mountain Peak number one and just say God

thank you, that you are my daily provider, my daily Gyra.

I've been consumed by worry. I've been worried how I'm going

to make ends meet. And God wants to come and fill

you with His peace and remind you He is your Jehovah Gyra,

your daily provider. And he doesn't just give you

enough. He loves to give good gifts to

those who ask him. Thank you, Philippa, for that

message. What an incredible God we have.

There are many things happening in the life of 1 church.

Here is this week's family news for 1234.

Firstly, there is currently a team of 11 young adults in

Tanzania. They have already seen God do

some incredible things, including casting out demons.

And praying for rain. Please continue to pray for them

this week that they would have even more stories and that they

would come back full of faith and a passion to see God move

here in the UK. Secondly, it's now less than

five weeks until opening weekend for the renovated One Center.

Join us on the 9th and 10th of September to celebrate God's

incredible goodness and faithfulness to us in this

season. And why not bring someone with

you? Thirdly, on Sunday the 27th of

August. We have our next encounter

night, 7:00 PM at 12 Frog Island.

Last month was such a powerful time and we're believing for

more of the same this month. Anyone is welcome to come and

join us. And finally, if you would like
