  1. I believe we should actually keep going.

  2. Now, let me explain this. I believe that

  3. we should be people, men and women of

  4. God, who daily pray, Bible read, and and

  5. live a life of fasting. Now, the fasting

  6. may change, right? It might not be food.

  7. It might be something different. But I

  8. believe fasting is a lifestyle. It's

  9. denying the flesh so you can strengthen

  10. your spirit. Fasting might look like

  11. alcohol for a while, might look like

  12. screens for a season or whatever it is.

  13. I believe we need a lifestyle because we

  14. need to strengthen ourselves for the

  15. work that is ahead. We need to be strong

  16. in the Lord and prayer and fasting and

  17. Bible reading is what strengthens our

  18. spirit. So, I'll encourage you, keep

  19. going. Don't don't stop now that you've

  20. broke that habit or built that habit. I

  21. also want to us as a church to really

  22. believe and pray over our young adults.

  23. The reason is Gen Z's that's 17 to 29.

  24. There's a move of God happening in Gen

  25. Z's. In fact, they are the most attended

  26. uh group of average attendants where

  27. they're coming almost twice a month

  28. which in in terms of other um

  29. demographics is a lot. I don't know what

  30. happened to the boomers, mate. Maybe

  31. we're sleeping in or something. We're

  32. just I don't know. We're just uh falling

  33. asleep at the wheel. The boomers, they

  34. just they're down to 1.4 times a month.

  35. That's not you guys. The boomers in this

  36. place. We're committed. Got John and

  37. Marlene here every they might be the

  38. elders actually. They're here every

  39. service. But uh this is this is just

  40. general church attendance. But I just

  41. want us to understand as a church there

  42. is something happening in Gen Z's. There

  43. is a hunger for the word of God. There

  44. is a hunger for truth. And as a church,

  45. there's a hunger for something that's

  46. real. As AI is trying to usurp and step

  47. in and just cloud and confuse, we need

  48. the truth of Jesus Christ. And so our

  49. heart as a church, we respond to this

  50. Gen Z and we we we make room for the Gen

  51. Z. So tonight after our 5:00 PM, all the

  52. young adults are hanging out. If you're

  53. a young adult, come back tonight. Um if

  54. you know a young adult, get them. we

  55. just really want to impart into our

  56. young adults. A big focus for us as a

  57. church and I want you to pray and

  58. believe and just support us as we as we

  59. focus on what God is doing in this great

  60. awakening for these young adults. If you

  61. have your Bibles, let's go to Luke 4. We

  62. are a Bible preaching, Bible believing

  63. church. If we stop preaching the Bible,

  64. if you don't see scriptures on the

  65. screen, time to get out, time to leave.

  66. just you run find somewhere to preach us

  67. the Bible because we are centered on the

  68. word of God. The anointing, what what is

  69. the anointing? Well, kind of for me, it

  70. reminds me that I can't do anything

  71. without God. That's the Miles version.

  72. I'm a simple guy. I'm out of the

  73. building industry, just pretty basic.

  74. Um, and I realize I can't do anything

  75. without God. It it represents a

  76. supernatural power of God that is at

  77. work in our lives. And there is kind of

  78. this explanation of anointing. The word

  79. means to smear or rub. That's what it

  80. means to smear or rub. But the

  81. actual theological meaning is pretty

  82. significant all through scripture. It

  83. means to set apart for divine use to be

  84. empowered by God to divine to to fulfill

  85. the divine task. And I encourage you

  86. today to be open. Open to what God might

  87. be setting you apart to do for him. Open

  88. to allow the spirit of the Lord to lead

  89. you. Open to receive prayer today. We

  90. want to pray for every person in this

  91. place. We want to anoint you with oil

  92. according to scripture so that you can

  93. understand. Did you know that you feel

  94. this? You are set apart for divine use.

  95. Every one of you, you are set apart.

  96. This is about you recognizing you are

  97. set apart for divine use. And so we see

  98. in scripture that that the anointing

  99. means anything is possible. The

  100. anointing means mountains can move,

  101. giants can be defeated. We can overcome

  102. whatever comes our way because the power

  103. of God is supreme and is bigger and

  104. greater than any obstacles or

  105. circumstances or oppositions that you

  106. face. Luke 4, Jesus starts his

  107. three-year ministry. He's 30. He got

  108. baptized, spent 40 days in the

  109. wilderness fasting. Three times the

  110. enemy came. He defended with the word of

  111. the Lord. He returns to his hometown of

  112. Galilee, to his local church. And here

  113. we read the words of Jesus as he starts

  114. his ministry. Verse 14, Jesus returned

  115. to Galilee in the power of the spirit.

  116. News about him had spread throughout the

  117. whole countryside. He was teaching in

  118. the synagogues and everyone praised him.

  119. He went to Nazareth where he was being

  120. brought up. And on the Sabbath, that's a

  121. Sunday. He went to the synagogue, that's

  122. the church, as was his custom for years.

  123. Jesus showed up at church. He showed up

  124. at the synagogue every Sabbath to with

  125. his family to hear the word of the Lord

  126. to give praise to his God. As imperfect

  127. as the church was and is, Jesus made it

  128. a priority to show up in the church. I

  129. love that. I often wonder what he was

  130. doing. Was he like on the uh you know in

  131. the youth group? Was he a youth group

  132. leader? Um was he in the car park? You

  133. know did he have multiple services? Uh

  134. did did he do multiple serving? you

  135. know, had he had he done the safe church

  136. check, you know, had he gone through all

  137. the training? And I I just think, what

  138. what was he doing there, you know, and

  139. then I think, what was it like preaching

  140. in front of Jesus? And I I get really

  141. nervous. I still get nervous. I'm I'm

  142. nervous right now. I every I don't

  143. [laughter] know why God is preaching. I

  144. hate it. And uh I I I I do I just hate

  145. preaching, man. It's just I'm so nervous

  146. every time. And people are like, "Yeah,

  147. Miles, you look like so serious." I'm

  148. freaking out. THAT'S WHY YOU LOOK LIKE,

  149. you know, you you're like in pain. I am.

  150. This is horrible. I actually threw up a

  151. couple times. Um, now I just throw up

  152. and swallow it. So, I just keep moving

  153. on. But I'm not doing the anointing

  154. prayer. So, you're all good. We got

  155. other people with mints to do that. And

  156. so, it's it's hard, but I wonder what

  157. would it be like preaching in front of

  158. Jesus. And then I'm thinking, I actually

  159. am because Jesus is here every Sunday.

  160. So, he's factchecking me. He's checking

  161. my heart. you know, he's like, "It's

  162. it's a tough gig being up here. Just

  163. feel sorry for me." And and he stood up

  164. and and then he reads the word of God.

  165. He reads the words from the prophet

  166. Isaiah. And unrolling it, he found the

  167. place where it was written, verse 18,

  168. "The spirit of the Lord is on me because

  169. he is what? He has anointed

  170. me." Jesus was set apart for a divine

  171. purpose. Just like you are set apart for

  172. a divine purpose. Why was he set apart?

  173. What was his divine purpose? We're about

  174. to find out. He announced why he came.

  175. So it's clear. So we know he came to

  176. proclaim the good news to who? The the

  177. poor. This isn't talking about financial

  178. poor. This is talking that we're all

  179. impoverished by sin. We're born bankrupt

  180. spiritually, imprisoned by sin, a debt

  181. we can't pay. But there's good news. He

  182. came to minister to all of us. Every

  183. single one of us are poor. So he didn't

  184. just come to those, you know, who were

  185. uh hurting or broken. He came to

  186. everyone in all of mankind. And he came

  187. to proclaim freedom. Freedom for the

  188. prisoners. Christ came to bring the good

  189. news, to pay our debt, to set us free,

  190. to rescue us from hell because that is

  191. the cost of sin. We're all sinners.

  192. We've all fallen short of the glory of

  193. God. And without Christ, we go to hell.

  194. It's clear. It's it's very apparent.

  195. Then Jesus came to bring freedom, to

  196. recover sight to the blind. We were

  197. blind, but now we can see. To heal us of

  198. spiritual blindness, moral blindness.

  199. We're no longer blinded by religion.

  200. We're no longer blinded by our past.

  201. We're no longer blinded by our mistakes.

  202. We're no blond no longer blinded by

  203. hurts or disappointments. We're no

  204. longer blinded by what the flesh might

  205. do or say to us or what the enemy may

  206. accuse us of, the labels, being a

  207. victim, or the past, the baggage. We we

  208. we are we have the sight to see clearly

  209. to set the oppressed free. Freedom from

  210. mental illness. Freedom from physical

  211. spiritual we could set free in Jesus'

  212. name. Jesus came to rescue us. This is

  213. good news today. He came to save us. He

  214. came to heal us. He came to give us a

  215. future, a hope, a life that we can find

  216. in Jesus Christ. Not just for this life,

  217. for eternity. There is no bigger

  218. statement than that. There is nothing

  219. greater that anyone could ever say on

  220. planet earth that we can be saved and

  221. rescued. And he came to proclaim the

  222. year of the Lord's favor. This refers to

  223. the Old Testament year of Jubilee. So in

  224. Israel, there was every 50 years was the

  225. year of Jubilee. All debts were

  226. cancelled. So if you owed money on your

  227. house, a mortgage, you you that mortgage

  228. was gone. Clear slate. every 50 years it

  229. was a it was a doover. Start again. If

  230. you're a slave, you were set free. Um

  231. you you were a fresh start. And this is

  232. referring that with Jesus, we have a

  233. fresh start. Not every 50 years, but we

  234. have a fresh start for eternity. That

  235. because of Christ, we can start again.

  236. We we can be born again. the Bible. It's

  237. a brand new fresh start and we don't

  238. have to live under the laws of slavery

  239. anymore of of of being slave to sin. We

  240. are actually free. What good news. He

  241. rolled the scroll. He gave it back to

  242. the attendant. Wonder who the attendant

  243. was. Jackie was there somewhere. Gave it

  244. back to Jackie. Here go Jackie. Here it

  245. is. Where are you, Jackie? Jackie does

  246. the pullpit and all the words and Jackie

  247. the legend. We love Jackie. So he gave

  248. it back to the attendant and sat down.

  249. You think it's over, right? Because when

  250. you sit out, that's you're normally

  251. you're done. Well, no, apparently not.

  252. Everyone's looking on him. They're

  253. watching him. Oh my gosh. And then he

  254. said, "Today, the scripture is fulfilled

  255. in your hearing." What a statement. It

  256. changed everything. This is the

  257. beginning of the gospel. This is his

  258. first message that he preached. And this

  259. is what we center our lives upon. And

  260. that's why we're here today. And we're

  261. proclaiming this good news. We're not

  262. good. God's good. Our church isn't good.

  263. God's good. And so we constantly say

  264. it's Jesus. Jesus. Jesus brings the

  265. hope, brings the vision, brings the

  266. destiny, brings the future. And maybe

  267. today you need to be saved.

  268. Maybe today you need to accept this

  269. promise that Jesus brought that he came

  270. to die for you. That your sins can be

  271. forgiven. That you may be far from God

  272. right here, right now. You can be in

  273. church

  274. but not saved.

  275. You can do the thing, but in here, man,

  276. it's he's not there.

  277. You You can have the act outward, but

  278. inward there's no connection that you've

  279. lost it. That first love, that passion.

  280. Maybe it's fear. Maybe it's it's just

  281. the world. Maybe it's the enemy. But

  282. today's your day to come home. Today's

  283. your day to say, "Jesus, be my Lord and

  284. my Savior. Today's your day to say,

  285. "Man, I I hear the words that was spoken

  286. by Jesus 2,000 years ago from the

  287. prophet Isaiah that he came to proclaim

  288. freedom for the lost, the hurting, the

  289. broken, freedom to those poor, freedom

  290. to those bound. And today's your day to

  291. be free with eyes closed. Let's do it

  292. right here, right now. Heads bowed. This

  293. your moment. Don't miss it. Jesus came

  294. to proclaim freedom, wholeness. Would

  295. you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and

  296. Savior? Would you be saved today? Would

  297. you say yes to him? Would you accept

  298. these words and see your eternity

  299. transformed? Your future changed forever

  300. in a twinkling of an eye. The Bible says

  301. you will be saved not because of your

  302. works, but because of Jesus's works on

  303. the cross. Eyes closed and heads bowed.

  304. Just me and some of the team looking

  305. around. Raise your hand up on the count

  306. of three. One, two, three. Raise it up

  307. right now. Wherever you are, say yes to

  308. Jesus Christ. Just let me see your

  309. decision. Just raise it up. Yeah. Well

  310. done. Canot. Congratulations. Up the

  311. bag. Up the back there. Any ass. Just

  312. raise your hand. Say, "Jesus, my Lord,

  313. my Savior." Yeah, I see your hand in the

  314. middle there. Congratulations. You know

  315. it. Yeah. God is here. Just raise your

  316. hand. Let me recognize that decision.

  317. Yeah. Thank you. I see your hand. Well

  318. done. That's awesome. Others boldly

  319. raise your hand that the go God's doing

  320. a work right here, right now. His word

  321. is truth. It is yes and amen. That the

  322. spirit of the Lord is moving and it's

  323. your moment to say yes to him. God, I

  324. need to make room. I need you to put the

  325. center of my life. Maybe you need to

  326. come back to rededicate, recommmit to

  327. say, "Jesus, I'm sorry. I'm here. Be my

  328. Lord." Just raise your hand with these

  329. others. Just raise it up high right at

  330. the back. Well done. Well done. Well

  331. done. The spirit of the Lord is on the

  332. word of God to proclaim freedom to those

  333. who are lost and poor, to set them free.

  334. It's powerful. Anyone else? Just raise

  335. your hand if that's you today. those

  336. that raised their hands, the prayer team

  337. and and the leaders would have seen your

  338. hand. They've got a gift for you.

  339. They'll chase you down at the end of the

  340. service and give you a gift. We want to

  341. serve you as a church. We want to

  342. disciple you. We want to love on you. We

  343. want to help you in this life that you

  344. found through Christ of freedom in

  345. Jesus' name. There is no other name that

  346. can save. Thank you, Lord.

  347. Let's all pray a prayer of salvation.

  348. Jesus,

  349. I'm a sinner. I need a savior. Thank you

  350. for saving me. I surrender my life. Be

  351. my Lord in Jesus' name. Everyone said,

  352. "Amen." Come on, let's celebrate those

  353. hands. Like, praise the Lord. So, the

  354. local boy Jesus in his hometown, just a

  355. couple of hundred people in his local

  356. church declares that he is anointed.

  357. Remember, it's to be set apart for

  358. divine use, empowered by God to fulfill

  359. his divine task. Like baptism,

  360. like communion, the anointing oil has a

  361. physical element that represents a

  362. spiritual supernatural impartation. So

  363. there's actually no power in the oil,

  364. but it's a representation of the Holy

  365. Spirit that is empowering people. And

  366. the oil on our head when we pray for

  367. you, it's an outward expression of a

  368. real spiritual work going on the inside.

  369. So there is something divine and

  370. powerful that happens when we pray for

  371. you and we anoint you with oil. There is

  372. an impartation. There is a moving of the

  373. spirit of God into your life. In Acts

    Acts 10:38

  374. 10:38, Luke said how God anointed Jesus

  375. of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and

  376. power and how he went around doing good

  377. and healing all who are under the power

  378. of the devil because God was with him.

  379. And we often think the name Christ is

  380. the last name of Jesus. And we know that

  381. it's Jesus Christ, right? We grow up,

  382. it's Jesus Christ. We often say, you

  383. know, pray pray to Christ or talk to

  384. Christ or or Christ. We say the name

  385. Christ, but it's not his last name. It

  386. actually refers to who he is. It means

  387. Christos in the Greek. It means anointed

  388. one. So every time we say Jesus Christ,

  389. we're saying the anointed one. Hey

  390. Jesus, you know, I just thank you God.

  391. Thank you Jesus Christ. You're saying

  392. Jesus the anointed one. You're saying

  393. he's come to proclaim victory. He's come

  394. to set people free. You're declaring his

  395. role as anointed one to save humanity.

  396. That's what we're declaring when we say

  397. Christ the anointed one. What was he

  398. anointed for? He didn't just anoint us

  399. for a better golf score or to find a car

  400. park at towers. That would be a miracle.

  401. We would we would we would love if that

  402. was the case. He didn't just anoint you

  403. to be rich and famous and take all of

  404. your problems away. He anointed you to

  405. fulfill a divine purpose. The anointing

  406. is not just about you to feel these

  407. tingly wingly feelings to make you feel

  408. self feel good. It's actually anointed

  409. you to do good works for him. So we are

  410. all anointed like Christ with a divine

  411. purpose. What is that purpose? I don't

  412. know. I don't know. But God knows. And

  413. he wants to reveal that that you can

  414. find that purpose to raise your children

  415. in the ways of the Lord, to share your

  416. faith in your workplace, to use the

  417. gifts and talents on your life, to lift

  418. up the name of Jesus, to be influential

  419. wherever you are, to mentor, to pour in

  420. in your workplace or your in politics or

  421. sports or wherever you find yourself,

  422. whatever you you are anointed for the

  423. kingdom of God to extend his kingdom. We

  424. are also anointed to build his church as

  425. a body of believers. We're building this

  426. church together.

  427. And I love the story in one chronicles

  428. where David, the dad, had blood on his

  429. hand, so he could not build the temple,

  430. but his son Solomon was anointed not

  431. just to lead Israel as king, but to

  432. build the temple.

  433. 1 Chronicles 29:1 the work ahead was

    1 Chronicles 29:1

  434. enormous

  435. for the temple he will build this is

  436. Solomon is not for mere mortals it was

  437. for the Lord himself so in the old

  438. testament the presence of the lord would

  439. be housed in the temple was a holy place

  440. now with Jesus the presence of the lord

  441. is available to all of us and where two

  442. or more are gathered holy spirit is

  443. present and then David goes on this is a

  444. beautiful prayer of praise I just love

  445. this reveals the heart to David and it

  446. should reveal our heart where God is

  447. personal yet powerful where God is

  448. intimate yet he's big and we see in

  449. verse 10 then David praised the Lord in

  450. the presence of the whole assembly he's

  451. praising everyone he's leading by

  452. example he says oh Lord the God of our

  453. ancestor Israel may you be praised

  454. forever and ever yours oh Lord the

  455. greatness the power the glory the

  456. victory the majesty everything in heaven

  457. and on earth is yours oh Lord and this

  458. is your kingdom. We adore you. Now, it's

  459. personal. We We praise you. We adore

  460. you. It's personal. As the one who is

  461. over all things. And here's the bigness.

  462. Wealth and honor come from you alone.

  463. For you rule over everything. Power and

  464. might are in your hand. At your

  465. discretion, people are made great and

  466. given strength. And if I can be bold

  467. today, I want to declare something new

  468. that we're anointed for in hills

  469. elevation.

  470. I believe by the spirit of the Lord,

  471. remember the the meaning is to be set

  472. apart for divine purpose, empowered by

  473. God to fulfill a divine task. I believe

  474. we as a church are anointed to plant

  475. other churches in Sydney. I believe

  476. that. I believe God is time and he's

  477. moving and ministering on us that we've

  478. got to feel the calling like young

  479. Solomon did that we're anointed for a

  480. purpose. God has blessed us. What we

  481. have is is special. He's been kind to us

  482. is this beautiful community. It's just

  483. God honoring people. It's it's something

  484. that we can't keep to ourselves. We must

  485. go into all the world. See, Jesus, the

  486. anointed one, proclaimed the good news.

  487. And then his last words, they're his

  488. first words. The last words when he left

  489. was go into all the world and do the

  490. same. We must multiply healthy local

  491. churches. That's why Jesus came. That's

  492. what we're commanded to do. We have a

  493. vision to plant churches. We actually

  494. have pastors to plant the churches. We

  495. actually have the the harvest of Sydney

  496. is in desperate need. We just need the

  497. finances. And part of the building of

  498. the temple was finances and resources to

  499. coming in to be able to build the

  500. temple. The Bible says even though the

  501. work was enormous,

  502. David

  503. still believed that his son was

  504. anointed. And with the anointing comes a

  505. supernatural impartation, the

  506. supernatural. And just as David rallied

  507. the people around his son who was

  508. anointed to build the temple, I want to

  509. rally all of you around the vision of

  510. the Lord to plant churches outside of

  511. this building into Sydney to see the

  512. gospel preached. Now, as I was preparing

  513. this message, it's been on me all year,

  514. right? As we made room and just really

  515. believing this is the next step for

  516. heels. Then we went, if I can be totally

  517. transparent, honest, we went into

  518. January. It was our worst month giving

  519. that I think we've had in a long mean

  520. years and years. It was a shocker. Like

  521. like 28% down. We've never had those

  522. numbers before. Normally it's five or 6%

  523. or something up and down, but just I

  524. don't know whether you're all away. I

  525. don't know whether you skip church. I

  526. don't know whether you forgot to give.

  527. bit of a reminder, but it was like, God,

  528. how can we talk about planning when we

  529. can't even survive where we've got yet

  530. the anointing goes beyond the

  531. circumstances. The anointing brings the

  532. supernatural power of God. And what I

  533. want to do is pray the anointing over

  534. our church to have the resources so that

  535. we can go into all the world. that I

  536. want to pray for supernatural blessing

  537. over you, over your businesses, over

  538. your workplace, supernatural moves of

  539. God with resources and finances come in.

  540. Supernatural blessings that we can see

  541. God move mightily in and through us so

  542. that we can fund the vision that he has

  543. for us that we're anointed for. So,

  544. Father, I just anoint everyone in this

  545. place. I anoint every business owner. I

  546. anoint every wage earner. I anoint those

  547. looking for work. I anoint those that

  548. are doing it tough. I get it. It's hard.

  549. It's brutal. But the anointing is bigger

  550. than the circumstances. The anointing is

  551. greater than the lack. The anointing

  552. doesn't shroud down or shrink back from

  553. the circumstances. The anointing is the

  554. release of the supernatural power of God

  555. to do what we can't think is possible

  556. because you get the glory. Because it's

  557. by your spirit. It's by your power. He

  558. set us apart for finances, for

  559. resources. And we pray God that we would

  560. be great stewards, that we would have

  561. great governance, that we would be found

  562. worthy,

  563. that we would be used by you to flow the

  564. resources through us for your glory, for

  565. your kingdom. Uh you can go to our

  566. website when you give. Many of you know

  567. this, but there's a tithe and offerings.

  568. That's what covers the running costs of

  569. the church. That's where we were low

  570. last month. Legacy is where our church

  571. planting fund sits. So, I pray you seek

  572. the Lord. Be obedient. This isn't a hard

  573. sell. This is understanding we're

  574. anointed for something. We're anointed

  575. to build the church. Let God lead you.

  576. Let God direct you as you give. Next, we

  577. want to pray and anoint our ministry

  578. leaders. Then, we're actually going to

  579. pray and anoint every one of you. You

  580. ready? Come on. God's going to move. So

  581. if ministry leaders, if you can come up,

  582. I want us as a church to pray over uh

  583. these leaders of the church so they can

  584. be anointed to shepherd,

  585. to lead, to serve. The ministry leaders

  586. are here to serve you. You're not here

  587. to serve us. We're here to serve you.

  588. But we need God's help. We need God's

  589. power, God's wisdom. Would you join me?

  590. Just as I asked you would join in the

  591. giving, would you join in the praying

  592. for our ministry lives? Would you stand?

  593. Would you sort of put your hand forward?

  594. And as I go through and pray, we pray

  595. for our life group ministry. We anoint

  596. life groups that there would actually be

  597. a move of God in homes that there would

  598. be the word of God that is preached and

  599. shared that relationships will grow

  600. deep. Father, we pray for pastoral care

  601. at a whole another level to be taken

  602. place. Lord, where we confess our sins

  603. for forgiveness to you, but we share

  604. with each other for healing. That's what

  605. your word says. I pray for healing and

  606. wholeness. I pray for a move of God in

  607. marriages and children and physical

  608. bodies in our life groups. We pray for a

  609. move of God that would happen during the

  610. week in our life groups. Father, we pray

  611. for Sanjieve and Joss as they lead this

  612. church. We're thankful that they they

  613. volunteer their time yet they know, God,

  614. they've been called, they've been

  615. anointed, they've been set apart. And we

  616. pray over the missions that the missions

  617. would go into Western Sydney. That our

  618. reach would go into the streets of

  619. Sydney. Our reach would go into those

  620. homes where there's domestic violence.

  621. Our reach would go into where places of

  622. poverty. Our reach would go into the in

  623. the vulnerable and the lost and the

  624. elderly that have been forgotten about.

  625. That our reach will go to every corner

  626. of Sydney to reach and touch people who

  627. need your love and your grace. Father,

  628. [music] we pray for our worship team. We

  629. believe for the anointing of God. I'm

  630. praying for people to walk in here and

  631. be set free even before the word is

  632. preached. They can sense the presence of

  633. God. They're drawn back. It's like a

  634. well. They come back here to drink.

  635. They're drinking of your presence.

  636. They're finding their their identity and

  637. purpose in your presence. We pray for

  638. the supernatural power of of of the

  639. anointing of God over our creatives that

  640. they would just be anointed at a whole

  641. another level. We pray for pastoral

  642. care. We pray for our connections

  643. welcoming new people. We pray from the

  644. car park to the seats, people [music]

  645. would feel your love. They would feel

  646. welcome. They would feel they matter.

  647. They would not feel judged. They would

  648. not feel rejected. They could feel it's

  649. a [music] safe place. They can come and

  650. be vulnerable and open up and you can

  651. move by your spirit. Lord, anoint our

  652. pastoral care team. Anoint our care and

  653. connections team. Anoint every person in

  654. every role. Father, we pray for a youth.

  655. We're praying for revival. We're

  656. believing for revival. Our teenagers

  657. need Jesus. They don't need more screen

  658. time. They need more Jesus time. that

  659. they don't need to learn who they are by

  660. scrolling. They need to learn who they

  661. are through the word of God. And we pray

  662. for confidence and boldness on our next

  663. generation. An anointing, Father, over

  664. our youth ministry. Well, we pray for

  665. young adults. There would be a move of

  666. God that this young adult age group

  667. would lead our church. They're the

  668. leaders of today, not tomorrow. That

  669. we'd make room for them to lead. We

  670. would let them step up. We would let

  671. them have a voice. We would back them,

  672. believe in them. We would edify. We

  673. would cheer them on. We pray for the

  674. young adults in our church, the

  675. anointing of God over them in Jesus'

  676. [music] name. Everyone said, can we

  677. celebrate how great our God is? Thank

  678. you team. We're going to now invite the

  679. prayer team to come up the Oh, Miss

  680. kids, what we just sneaking along. She

  681. gets double anointing, the double

  682. portion. I don't even know if that's

  683. spirit scriptural. Can you do that?

  684. Double anointing. Double portion. Ben.

  685. Ben's kind of the gatekeeper of the

  686. scriptures and [music] what I say. So,

  687. we got to submit it to the bishop.

  688. Father, we pray over our kids' ministry.

  689. We pray. Come on, church.

  690. An anointing. [music]

  691. An anointing over those children.

  692. They would dream dreams. They'd be

  693. strengthened in the ways of the Lord.

  694. What they learned in kids church would

  695. hold them through the test of time. It

  696. would cause them to rise up into our

  697. community as leaders and influence.

  698. Young men and women would pray over each

  699. other, minister, speak, prophesy and

  700. declare. The power of God would move

  701. mighty. We anoint our kids' ministry

  702. that we would hear stories of healings

  703. and miracles. who would hear stories of

  704. words that are spoken that we in this

  705. church

  706. would receive and be blessed because of

  707. the ministry of those children who'd be

  708. [music] recipients.

  709. Pour your anointing out over that kids

  710. church in Jesus name. [music] Everyone

  711. said amen. Amen. Thanks guys. We're

  712. going to invite the prayer team up and

  713. we're going to sing and we're going to

  714. worship. I just want to remind you why

  715. you're coming up. You are coming up for

  716. prayer to be set apart for a divine use.

  717. That God has been waiting for this

  718. moment. God has been preparing for this

  719. moment. Our team has been preparing to

  720. pray for you. And maybe you've lost your

  721. purpose.

  722. Maybe you've lost your way. Miles, I'm

  723. just hanging on for my fingernails.

  724. Forget giving to the church and helping

  725. out those ministry lead. I I can't even

  726. survive. [music]

  727. The anointing breaks the yoke.

  728. The anointing breaks the What's the

  729. yoke? The yoke was this [music] wooden

  730. instrument used to tie two oxen

  731. together. And you couldn't be free with

  732. the yoke. You were locked in. The

  733. anointing breaks the yoke. It breaks

  734. poverty. [music] It breaks spiritual

  735. oppression. It breaks generational

  736. curses. Come on, church. It breaks

  737. alcoholism. [music] It breaks

  738. pornography. It breaks those things that

  739. are holding us back. It breaks fear. It

  740. it it breaks those spiritual [music]

  741. arguments of the enemy, the accusation.

  742. God wants to set you apart for divine

  743. purpose. God wants to empower you to do

  744. extraordinary things. You just have to

  745. be open to receive it. Would you be open

  746. today? Would you? God won't force it on

  747. you. You've got to invite him. But we're

  748. going to allow people from the front to

  749. the back to fill the aisles and come

  750. down for prayer. will direct you.

  751. [music] And there's the first row and

  752. the second row and the third row. You

  753. can also go get your children and come

  754. back in. We'll take as long as we need.

  755. It's not the prayer. It's not the

  756. [music] oil. It's the spirit of the Lord

  757. that will fill you and bring

  758. breakthrough for you. God, we [music]

  759. just pray in the name of the Father,

  760. Son, and the Holy Spirit. The anointing

  761. would flow today. It's your spirit. It's

  762. your power. It's your presence. Move. We

  763. pray as as as [music] we anoint people

  764. with oil according to your scripture.

  765. Do what only you can in Jesus name.
