  1. It's lovely to be here. Thank you guys

  2. for uh having me. Uh we've had we've had

  3. a couple of cool days. Friday night was

  4. super fun. The uh men's breakfast

  5. yesterday was pretty raw. It's pretty

  6. real. It's pretty in your face, but I

  7. think it's time for men to be men.

  8. >> And uh you know, not just rock up at

  9. church on Sunday and lift holy hands.

  10. Actually have holy hands during the

  11. week. Amen. Um, hey, I've got a photo of

  12. my beautiful family to show you. That's

  13. cool. So, uh, we took that at Christmas.

  14. That's my daughter over there. And I

  15. said, shy, like, I'll give you $20 if

  16. you smile.

  17. That's definitely not a $20 smile.

  18. So, that uh my little boy Benji, my wee

  19. boy there, and my beautiful wife,

  20. they've just landed uh an hour ago in

  21. Sydney. I haven't seen them for 10 days.

  22. So, I'm very excited this afternoon to

  23. to see my little boy and my wife. It's

  24. going to be awesome. And uh I was uh in

  25. Melbourne before I came here and uh on

  26. the uh Easter Friday, I saw 750 people

  27. get baptized. That's a lot of people,

  28. man. It was so amazing at Frankston

  29. Beach. It was It was really, really

  30. special. Really, really beautiful. But

  31. today, I want to I want to sort of

  32. encourage you to shine Jesus every day.

  33. >> But here's the deal. You can't give what

  34. you haven't got. And and I want to I

  35. want to help you with that today. I

  36. believe God wants to invade your life so

  37. you're never the same again. I'm I'm

  38. about to say like I had a communication

  39. coach and he traveled with me for a few

  40. years and he said, "Look, your first

  41. minute is is so important whether people

  42. will like you or not." So, I'm about to

  43. say something that you might not like me

  44. after I say this.

  45. Are you ready?

  46. Are you sure?

  47. If your Christian life is boring,

  48. that's because you're boring.

  49. You have God living inside of you.

  50. >> We're not supposed to live these

  51. comfortable Christian lives. If you're

  52. living this life of just Christian

  53. comfort, then there's actually no need

  54. for the comforter.

  55. All he wants

  56. is all of you. And he'll do something so

  57. beautiful when he really gets a hold of

  58. you. So this morning, my message is the

  59. simplicity of the gospel because I think

  60. so often we can over complicate the

  61. gospel. Actually, before I do that, I've

  62. got some books. I've actually got my

  63. friend here too, my caregiver. Um, so

  64. this is Lee now. Stand up, Lee. Lee,

  65. stand up.

  66. This is Lee.

  67. So, uh, Lee's going to be sharing

  68. tonight of his story. It is very

  69. powerful. And if there was ever a night

  70. 5:00 service tonight, it's 5:00. If

  71. there was ever a night to to put the

  72. remote down and don't worry about

  73. Netflix, don't worry about the NRL or

  74. the AFL or the PWL or whatever else you

  75. watch. Tonight is the night to invite

  76. someone and come to church.

  77. >> Because I'm telling you, tonight, if you

  78. bring people tonight, they'll get saved.

  79. Why do I say that? Because when the

  80. gospel's preached, the gospel happens.

  81. Amen.

  82. >> So your job today is to invite people

  83. tonight and the least story will really

  84. impact your life. So this book here,

  85. it's called The Lonely Pulpit. It's

  86. pretty much I I released it a couple of

  87. months ago. Uh it's a snapshot of what

  88. ministry looks like um as an itinerate

  89. preacher over the last nine years. The

  90. good, the bad, and there's a little bit

  91. of the ugly in here. So uh is anyone in

  92. the room I'm going to give this to

  93. someone. And by the way, they're out

  94. there. They're $25. I've got my other

  95. book, The Pub to the Pull Pit. I do not

  96. want to take them home. So, you buying

  97. them actually helps us do what we do.

  98. So, please buy good with Christmas just

  99. around the corner as well. It's good

  100. timing.

  101. So, is there anyone in the room that you

  102. you actually feel the call of God to be

  103. an itinerant preacher and and you just

  104. see that that that's on you because I

  105. think this would be super helpful. Is

  106. there anyone? Anyone?

  107. Okay, come up and get it.

  108. >> You come up and get it, buddy.

  109. >> There you go, bud.

  110. >> God bless you, man.

  111. >> Awesome. Keep charging for Jesus. All

  112. righty. So, I was thinking, what's a

  113. cool story? I I woke up at 4:00 am

  114. because my body clock is still in New

  115. Zealand time and and I went for a we

  116. drive and and I and I was thinking,

  117. what's a cool story that that paints a a

  118. a good picture of the simplicity of the

  119. gospel? And I got one. So Breezy and I,

  120. my wife and I, we got invited. I'm with

  121. New Life Churches in New Zealand,

  122. ordained and credentialed. So you can go

  123. fuel, he's not going to do anything

  124. outrageous. That's good. Uh and so we we

  125. got invited to this retreat, a pastor's

  126. retreat, uh with all of our pastors and

  127. and we were staying at this like it was

  128. like cabins, a camping ground and the

  129. food, oh my goodness, the food was so

  130. bad. Like it was like it was like prison

  131. food. Well, not that I really know, but

  132. uh but it was so bad. It was like

  133. rubber. And after a few days, and it

  134. went for a week, I said to Bri, I said,

  135. "Hey, look, I'm worried about the food."

  136. And she said, "Why?" And I said, "Well,

  137. I haven't been eating it and I'm just

  138. getting quite thin and I'm wondering if

  139. I could get fish and chips." And uh cuz

  140. Bree's very healthy. And she said,

  141. "Yeah, okay. We can get you some fish

  142. and chips." It probably You probably

  143. sound a wee bit different to me, don't

  144. you? Fish and chips. Anyway, so we go to

  145. the fish and chip shop and uh and I

  146. order the food and then we go back to

  147. the the camp where where I'm staying and

  148. I and I start opening it up and I'm Oh,

  149. this is going to be really good. It's

  150. like it's like almost like breaking a

  151. fast really. And I was very excited. I

  152. went to grab my phone and I realized I

  153. didn't have my phone on me. My phone

  154. wasn't in my pocket. And I said to

  155. Breezy, "Oh, have you got my phone?" And

  156. she said, "No." And so we rang it and no

  157. one answered.

  158. And so I'm sitting there and I thought I

  159. left it at the fish and chip shop and I

  160. said, "Breezy, I reckon someone at the

  161. fish and chip shop's taking my phone. I

  162. got a plan." And she's actually the the

  163. ideas filter in the marriage. Breezy is

  164. she's definitely the ideas filter cuz I

  165. said, "What we're going to do, we're

  166. going to go back to the fish and chip

  167. shop. We're going to walk in. You're

  168. going to ring my phone. I'm going to

  169. hear it ringing. I'm going to jump over

  170. the counter. The counter's that high. I

  171. didn't kind of think how I'm going to do

  172. that, but I'm going to jump over the

  173. counter and then grab my phone and then

  174. share the gospel with them. I said,

  175. "This is going to be a winner." And

  176. she's going, "Oh my goodness." So, we we

  177. get there and she rings the phone and we

  178. can't hear it. I go, "Ring it again.

  179. Ring it again." So, she rings the phone

  180. again. This time, someone answers it.

  181. How's it? And Breezy goes, "Oh, hi.

  182. You've got my husband's phone." And the

  183. guy goes, "Oh, you Well, where are you?

  184. because we'd like to come and get it.

  185. And he told us where he was. He was

  186. working on on on doing some roing. So,

  187. we drive around and I get out of the car

  188. and I walk over to him and I go, "Hey,

  189. bro. Thank you so much, man. You got my

  190. phone?" He goes, "Oh, yeah." And I said,

  191. "Um, where was it?" He goes, "Oh, it was

  192. on the counter at the fish and chip

  193. shop." I said, "Oh, okay. Cool." I said,

  194. "Bro,

  195. you stole my phone." He goes, "Yeah, I

  196. wanted an iPhone, eh?"

  197. Hello? I said, "Why did you answer it

  198. then?" And he said, "Because every time

  199. it would ring, this was your screen

  200. saver."

  201. You see the simplicity of the gospel.

  202. We over complicate it. WE OVER

  203. COMPLICATE IT. ISN'T it interesting that

  204. THE THIEF ON THE CROSS DIDN'T TICK ALL

  205. OF OUR BOXES? HE DIDN'T SAY THE SINNER'S

  206. PRAYER. DO YOU KNOW THE SINNER'S PRAYER

  207. IS NOT EVEN IN THE BIBLE. WE MADE IT UP

  208. 80 YEARS AGO.

  209. It's about heart.

  210. THIS WHOLE THING CALLED CHRISTIANITY.

  211. IT'S ABOUT HEART. AND HE, BY THE WAY, HE

  212. DOESN'T SEE YOU GUYS as Christians.

  213. That's an intentional pause. It's called

  214. the power of the pause. I just did it.

  215. He sees you as sons and daughters.

  216. He's aba father. He loves you.

  217. And the gospel is not the gospel without

  218. sin,

  219. without repentance,

  220. without heaven and hell. And I think

  221. sometimes we be we can become so numb to

  222. the truth of the gospel and and that

  223. really scares me, man.

  224. You know, there's people in your world,

  225. possibly people in this room, if you

  226. were to die today.

  227. It wouldn't be a good day.

  228. You see, there's a lot of people in the

  229. room that they'll know a lot about

  230. Jesus. And they'll sing the songs,

  231. you're worthy of it all. And and that's

  232. cool for Sunday, but what does Monday

  233. look like?

  234. What would our little lives look like if

  235. we actually live those songs that we

  236. sing?

  237. Because I don't believe I share the

  238. gospel because I'm an evangelist at all.

  239. I think that's a life in the pit of

  240. hell.

  241. I simply share the gospel because he's

  242. worthy to be talked about.

  243. The job of the evangelist is to equip

  244. the church. The job of the of the Bible

  245. believing Christians is to

  246. share Jesus wherever we go.

  247. I remember and and I was thinking about

  248. this when I was speaking to Pastor Miles

  249. about coming. Miles is such a champion

  250. man. I met him in Lagos, Nigeria at

  251. Reinhard Bonkey's farewell. 750,000

  252. people in attendance. That's quite a

  253. lot.

  254. So I met him there and uh he he actually

  255. organized we weren't allowed to leave

  256. the the base where where we're staying

  257. because it's very dangerous obviously.

  258. and and Miles organized he organized uh

  259. taxis and then he organized a boat. So

  260. we jump in these taxis then we go to the

  261. harbor. We jump in a boat to go surfing.

  262. It was so cool. It was so cool. It was

  263. so dangerous but it was so cool. Yeah. I

  264. love him. I love him heaps. So a few

  265. years ago I was preaching at Lachlan

  266. Jones's church. You know you guys know

  267. Locky. He's a really really really close

  268. friend of mine. So, I was preaching this

  269. church and on the morning then uh at

  270. Elevation Gold Coast um Sunday night.

  271. So, I had a little bit of downtime and I

  272. got a little video I'm going to play and

  273. I think it's a perfect video for this

  274. church, hence elevation. And uh so I

  275. went I was with a maid and we go and

  276. jump in the pool. We have a swim and

  277. then we jump in the spa pool, this

  278. outdoor spa where I've staying and we're

  279. just kind of chilling out before the

  280. night service at Elevation on the Gold

  281. Coast. And uh and we're in the pool just

  282. talking. Then two ladies come in the

  283. pool and we're just chatting and one of

  284. them goes, "Oh, to me, what do you do

  285. for a job?" And I said, "Oh, I'm a

  286. preacher." She said, "Really? You don't

  287. look like a preacher." And I said,

  288. "Well, I'm I'm an undercover one." And

  289. and she said, "Oh, tell me your story."

  290. And I said, "No, no, no. Come to church

  291. tonight just down the road at Elevation

  292. and I'll I'll tell you the story then."

  293. And she goes, "Oh, no, no. We're here uh

  294. we're here to party and we're here to do

  295. this and that." I said, "Oh, that's

  296. cool." And she said, "Please tell me the

  297. story." And I said, "No, come to church.

  298. You got to come to church." And I said,

  299. "No, no, we're not come to church." And

  300. her friend wasn't that keen at all. Like

  301. every time I was talking, her friend was

  302. doing those sides like,

  303. so I knew she wasn't digging me at all.

  304. And that's okay. It is what it is.

  305. >> Takes all types. And uh so as I get out

  306. of the pool, the friend that doesn't

  307. really like me goes, "Oh man, my back."

  308. So, as I get out of the pool, I just

  309. grab her hand and I said, "Give me a

  310. hand." I grab it and I say, "Jesus, I

  311. ask you to heal her back, Lord, but more

  312. importantly, heal heal her heart in your

  313. precious eyes open. When you're praying

  314. for someone, keep your eyes open. You

  315. don't want to miss a miracle. Keep your

  316. eyes open." So, I had my eyes open. I

  317. said, "Jesus name." I said, "See you

  318. tonight, ladies." And they said, "No,

  319. no, we're not coming." And it's gone.

  320. >> So, we'll play this little video from

  321. preaching at uh Elevation Gold Coast.

  322. >> Bang. I didn't I didn't grab your back

  323. down, but I grabbed your hand and

  324. started praying for it.

  325. >> And the sparkle, that's normal

  326. Christianity, man.

  327. >> Because I BELIEVE THERE'S A LIVING GOD

  328. THAT LIVES INSIDE ME AND HE WANTS OUT.

  329. >> COME ON.

  330. >> BUT YOU CAN'T GIVE WHAT YOU HAVEN'T GOT.

  331. >> BECAUSE PEOPLE WILL SEE RIGHT THROUGH

  332. IT. YOU can tell a fake mile.

  333. >> Oh, they're here. Hey, this is my free

  334. time.

  335. >> Well, that could have gone awkward.

  336. >> BUT YOU SEE, THAT'S NORMAL CHRISTIANITY.

  337. >> THAT'S JUST LOVING TWO PEOPLE THAT ARE

  338. IN A POLE.

  339. LOVE YOU GUYS.

  340. COME.

  341. >> Is it hot in here or what?

  342. Beautiful. E,

  343. so the the beautiful thing about that

  344. night is I did an alter call like I'm

  345. going to do in about 15 minutes. I'm

  346. doing an alter call in here. If you're

  347. in here today and you need to get right

  348. with God, if you've never given your

  349. life to Jesus, if you're feeling trapped

  350. in sin and lost, today is your day.

  351. Today is your day. So, I didn't the

  352. solder call and uh they were the first

  353. two people that responded, kneeling

  354. down, tears pouring down their cheeks.

  355. You see, that started in a spa pool a

  356. few hours earlier. That's the simplicity

  357. of the gospel.

  358. I want to read you a poem. Who likes

  359. poems?

  360. I don't look like the poetry type, do I?

  361. Here's a poem. It's called My Friend. My

  362. friend, I stand in judgment now, and I

  363. feel that you are to blame somehow. On

  364. earth, I walked with you by day, but

  365. never did you show me the way. You knew

  366. the Savior in truth and glory, but never

  367. did you tell me his story. My knowledge

  368. then was very dim, but you could have

  369. led me safe to him. Although we lived

  370. together here on earth, you never talked

  371. to me about a second birth. And now I

  372. stand before eternal hell. Because of

  373. heaven's glory, you did not tell.

  374. This is pretty real, eh?

  375. Is what you're living for

  376. worth what Christ died for?

  377. You see, all he wants

  378. is all of you.

  379. And often I'm in a different church

  380. pretty much every weekend. Well, most

  381. weekends.

  382. And often when I'm talking and doing

  383. that poem and

  384. being quite real, it offends people

  385. because it offends the lifestyle that so

  386. many Christians are living in.

  387. Do you know the Bible says if you are

  388. lukewarm,

  389. he will vomit you from his mouth.

  390. You see, often we we kind of forget

  391. about this and we lock ourselves into

  392. YouTube or podcast

  393. and we start feeding on that. What I I'm

  394. not saying, don't hear what I'm not

  395. saying. I'm not saying podcast and

  396. YouTube's bad, but what I am saying is

  397. this book here is way better.

  398. Your paper Bible, there's some and I

  399. know you do your apps and everything.

  400. Praise God. Great. But this here is

  401. precious to me, man. If you don't want

  402. to become a Christian flake, you need to

  403. be stuck in this word. This is the word

  404. of God. People often say to me, "How do

  405. you hear from God?" And not even being

  406. cheeky, I say, "I read the word."

  407. >> Hello.

  408. Word of God, daily bread.

  409. >> And I encourage you to get your the

  410. app's cool. I personally not an app kind

  411. of guy because when I read this, I don't

  412. get distracted with notifications.

  413. This has got a good battery life.

  414. Wouldn't it be interesting if this book

  415. here had a like our phones do screen

  416. time for screen time for the week?

  417. Wouldn't it be interesting how much time

  418. we spend in here per week? It's pretty

  419. important, man.

  420. This is what the Bible says.

  421. For God so loved the world, he didn't

  422. just love you. We so loved you that he

  423. gave his only actually just on that he

  424. gave you know the the DNA of a

  425. bibleelving bornagain spiritfilled

  426. Christian we should be the most generous

  427. people in Sydney we should be known for

  428. our generosity

  429. cuz that's the DNA that we've been

  430. birthed into through Christ for God so

  431. loved the world that he gave his only

  432. begotten son that Whoever are you a

  433. whoever

  434. that whoever would believe in him would

  435. not perish that means go to hell

  436. just keeping it real but have

  437. everlasting life

  438. you know those those times where Holy

  439. Ghost will

  440. he'll just put someone on your heart or

  441. those times where you'll you'll just be

  442. thinking I I really need to reach out to

  443. so so and so or I I need to I need to do

  444. this or I need to do that. There are

  445. those moments when Holy Ghost is

  446. speaking to you to go and do something

  447. to impact someone's life. And sometimes

  448. it's not going to be easy. It's not

  449. supposed to be easy and sometimes it's

  450. going to cost.

  451. There's a cost to this. The Bible says

  452. pick up your cross

  453. daily. cross is a is a instrument of

  454. execution.

  455. It's not a handbag. Pick up your cross.

  456. So there's things that Holy Ghost is

  457. going to ask us to do and want us to do.

  458. And I believe with all my heart success

  459. in the kingdom of God is obedience.

  460. I came over to I come over to Oz quite a

  461. bit preaching and I I one of the trips I

  462. I bought this surfboard and and because

  463. you can't get it in New Zealand and it

  464. was like my like my fave. It was just so

  465. amazing and it was quite expensive and

  466. you buy all the bits and pieces with it

  467. and and so I was very excited about it.

  468. I surfed it a couple of times on the

  469. Gold Coast and then took it home and

  470. when I got home I I felt God say you

  471. need to give that away.

  472. And I didn't think that was a great

  473. idea.

  474. I said, "I'm not sure about that one."

  475. He said, "You need to give it away." And

  476. I don't know about you, do you ever

  477. negotiate with God?

  478. >> Yeah. Well, I do. And uh I said, "Well,

  479. why don't I give two of my older ones

  480. away?

  481. Then the person will get two or we can

  482. bless two people. That makes sense."

  483. Hey,

  484. he said, "Give it away."

  485. And for a week,

  486. every time I'd look at it, I knew it

  487. wasn't mine anymore. So I I made myself

  488. text the guy and go, "Hey, bro, I've got

  489. something for you." Because I I knew if

  490. I text him, I'll do it. As Christians,

  491. we need to make sure our yes is our yes

  492. and our no is our no.

  493. >> Let's not be flakes. And uh here's a

  494. little story

  495. about that surfboard I gave away.

  496. I I was over in Aussie preaching and I I

  497. bought a surfboard, sitting on my chair

  498. and I was just looking at the boards and

  499. I felt the Lord say, "You need to give

  500. that away." Like this thing, I've surfed

  501. it two times. It's immaculate. And I

  502. thought, "No, no, no, no, no, no. That

  503. was not God. That was not God. If that's

  504. God, I need 16 confirmations. That was

  505. not God." And I kind of wrestled with it

  506. for about a week, and I've got older

  507. ones. He wouldn't know. He He doesn't

  508. know. He said, and I was just wrestling,

  509. wrestling, wrestling cuz it was a

  510. condition of the heart. So then I'm

  511. thinking, what have I done? What have I

  512. done? I've given away my best surfboard.

  513. How ridiculous. And he rang me. He said,

  514. "I just need to know one thing. Did God

  515. tell you to give me that surfboard?" I

  516. said, "100%." I said, "Actually, bro, I

  517. really didn't want to. It took a week

  518. for me to actually give it to you, man."

  519. >> Yeah. when you gave me the board, it's

  520. like that just felt like super generous,

  521. but I couldn't understand why am I

  522. getting a board? Like I don't deserve

  523. it. As a week later, I had a call from a

  524. neurosurgeon just saying, "There's a

  525. tumor on your brain. We better operate

  526. on it."

  527. At the time that you gave me the board,

  528. I didn't, you know, I didn't know what

  529. was coming. I had an MRI a month before.

  530. At the time that you gave me the board,

  531. there was kind of nothing going on

  532. except I had some symptoms there. I

  533. actually felt a lot of tension within me

  534. because I'm like, I'm not actually

  535. worthy of this gift. And as as you know,

  536. I didn't want to take it. And then um as

  537. a week later, I had a call from a

  538. neurosurgeon just saying, "Look, there's

  539. a tumor on your brain. We better operate

  540. on it." I said, "Well, I'm going on a

  541. plane in a couple of weeks." He said,

  542. "Well, you'll probably die if you go on

  543. the plane or

  544. >> something bad will happen. You better

  545. not go." As a father, I felt like he

  546. said, "Hey,

  547. I'm giving you the board for a reason.

  548. You're going to go through something,

  549. but regardless, the board is there as

  550. evidence to say one day you'll surf on

  551. that again." I was in hospital a few

  552. months. I lost control of everything in

  553. my ability. I had to be turned over for

  554. a few months with by nurses. I couldn't

  555. move much. I had to really learn how to

  556. well I had to learn how to balance again

  557. or sit up without flopping over. Um then

  558. how to how to walk. I just thought one

  559. day I'll surf on that board again. It

  560. doesn't matter how long it'll take.

  561. >> Yeah.

  562. >> I'll surf on that board again.

  563. >> As a father is speaking to me saying,

  564. "Hey, you're okay, son. You you you'll

  565. be okay." I think I would be a bit of a

  566. mess if it wasn't for that board. And I

  567. just feel like, man, I'm so privileged

  568. to have this awful experience happen,

  569. but God's been with me in this. And so

  570. the the board is just that evidence of

  571. his love to me.

  572. >> Wow.

  573. >> I do not know how I would be without

  574. that board. Um, honestly, and I'm

  575. grateful for people that can hear God

  576. and respond to prophetic words and act

  577. on that. I'm grateful for what Daz did.

  578. Actually,

  579. >> have you stood up on that surfboard

  580. that's sitting behind?

  581. >> I have uh for

  582. >> split seconds.

  583. >> Doesn't matter.

  584. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, I've taken it out

  585. a few times. I It takes me a lot of

  586. energy to get out in the surf these

  587. days, which is amazing. I I didn't even

  588. think I would ever surf again except for

  589. that promise.

  590. So he he he couldn't even have sheets on

  591. his body in the hospital because of the

  592. brain injury cuz the sheets would hurt

  593. his skin. But he he had that that and

  594. the doctors are saying really bad news

  595. to him. But he had that surfboard in the

  596. corner of his room in the hospital and

  597. he kept looking at that board going,

  598. "God, you've told me that I'll surf on

  599. that again. So you're telling me that

  600. I'm going to walk again?" It was that

  601. surfboard that that little we surfboard.

  602. It's just such a small thing in the big

  603. picture, but it was that board that got

  604. him through the most horrendous season

  605. of his life with his brain tumor. How

  606. good is God?

  607. So when he prompts you, you need to step

  608. into it. I don't know about you, but I

  609. would way rather be wet in the arms of

  610. Jesus than dry sitting in a boat.

  611. We're going to um

  612. we're going to sing that song again,

  613. worthy of it all.

  614. And I want you to check your heart.

  615. I want you to look at the condition of

  616. your heart.

  617. I want you to look at your lifestyle

  618. and does your lifestyle back up your

  619. belief system. See, you may be in here

  620. and you may be one of the leaders, but

  621. you know you're not living how you need

  622. to be living. You know, everyone's so

  623. after revival.

  624. I went to Brownsville twice

  625. standing in a line to get into a church

  626. at 7:00 in the morning till you're in

  627. there all day till they open the doors

  628. at 6:30 at night. I get what revival is.

  629. I've seen it with my own eyes.

  630. The key to revival is repentance

  631. and getting this thing here called heart

  632. right.

  633. And I know some of you are going to go,

  634. "Oh, I'm sorted on the way home. I don't

  635. need to do it publicly." Jesus died on

  636. the cross publicly for you.

  637. And you may be thinking, "Well, I don't

  638. want people to know, and that's a bit of

  639. a secret area in my life, and this and

  640. that."

  641. If pride

  642. can kick an angel out of heaven, an

  643. archangel, a beautiful archangel called

  644. Lucifer. If pride can kick an archangel

  645. out of heaven, what on earth could pride

  646. do in a broken heart? Don't let pride

  647. rob you this morning.

  648. So, we're going to sing. I want you to

  649. just focus on Jesus. Check the condition

  650. of your heart. And then I'm after we

  651. stop singing, I'm going to give you an

  652. opportunity to stand up. And for some of

  653. you, it's going to be super scary. For

  654. others, you you'll as you change your

  655. posture

  656. and come forward,

  657. you'll feel the chains and the shackles

  658. break cuz he's a good good father.
