  1. All right, let's jump into God's word

  2. today. Genesis 41, verse 29. It'll be on

    Genesis 41:29

  3. the screen behind me. You can follow

  4. along with your Bibles. Before we do

  5. jump in, I do want to give a heart um

  6. welcome and and and thank you and honor

  7. to just all those people that have

  8. helped with this legacy series. And what

  9. you don't understand is all the behind

  10. the scenes, all the writing, the

  11. planning, the people involved, the

  12. greeters, the cafe, just is a lot of

  13. moving parts. And I [snorts] kind of

  14. might get up here and, you know, preach

  15. the message on Legacy Sunday, but let me

  16. tell you that there's hours and hours

  17. and hours of faithful hard work by so

  18. many volunteers. And I just want to

  19. humbly say I couldn't do it without you.

  20. I'm amazed at at the strength of our

  21. team, the passion for God in our team.

  22. And I want to honor every person

  23. involved in serving the church, and

  24. thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  25. Could not do this without you. And I

  26. recognize that. I'm flawed. I'm just a

  27. humble man up here doing my part. But

  28. it's just the strength of the body of

  29. believers that allows us to deliver

  30. God's word and see God move in such a

  31. powerful way. Let's jump into God's holy

  32. word today. The next seven years will be

  33. a year of great prosperity through the

  34. land of Egypt. And so Joseph is

  35. interpreting the dream that Pharaoh had

  36. received. Verse 30. But afterwards there

  37. will be seven years of famine. So great

  38. that all the prosperity will be

  39. forgotten in Egypt. Famine will destroy

  40. the land. So Joseph interprets the dream

  41. by the spirit of God. Now we're going to

  42. discover that Joseph gives a strategy by

  43. the spirit of God. Then Pharaoh should

  44. appoint supervisors over the land. Let

  45. them collect 1ifth of all the crops, 20%

  46. during the seven good years. Have them

  47. gather all the food produced in the good

  48. years that are just ahead and bring them

  49. to the Pharaoh's storehouse. Store it

  50. away and guard it so it will be food in

  51. the cities. That way, there'll be enough

  52. to eat when the seven years of famine

  53. come to the land of Egypt. Otherwise,

  54. this famine will destroy the land. God

  55. gave [snorts] Joseph the plan. and gave

  56. him a plan to rescue the nation of

  57. Egypt, his nation of Israel and his

  58. family. That elevation legacy is all

  59. about us getting a plan how we can

  60. rescue people from hell and get them

  61. into heaven by strategically planning

  62. those areas of ministry in our church,

  63. our city, our nation, and our world.

  64. Now, legacy is not easy. Takes some

  65. sacrifice, but it always requires

  66. planning. Today we're going to talk

  67. about planning in our lives and planning

  68. in our church. Two thoughts. Number one,

  69. giving needs a plan. So, who are the

  70. planners in the room? Who loves to be

  71. organized and write lists? And who's the

  72. planners? You love your calendar. Who's

  73. the calendar king? You got your calendar

  74. all synced up. Who makes a list when

  75. they go to the grocery store? They

  76. actually write out what they need. Okay.

  77. Uh who just sort of shows up and just

  78. looks around and just throws something

  79. in. Uh, who does the next level of

  80. planning? The click and collect. You you

  81. get online and and and do that. Or the

  82. delivery. Who's the deliveries? You love

  83. the delivery. Who's the sender? The

  84. sender. That's the best planner of all.

  85. The sender sends someone else in the

  86. house to go to the grocery store and get

  87. what you need. I'm Bonnie's the sender.

  88. I go uh who rocks up at the grocery

  89. store cuz you need something. you get

  90. all this stuff and you get home and you

  91. remember, man, I forgot [clears throat]

  92. the thing that I went there in the first

  93. place. Um, we we all uh actually plan

  94. for something. We only plan for those

  95. things that are actually important to

  96. us. And we see in Isaiah 32:8 that

    Isaiah 32:8

  97. generous people, what do they do?

  98. Generous people they plan they plan they

  99. plan what to do uh that is generous and

  100. they stand firm in their generosity. So

  101. God doesn't call us only to spontaneous

  102. generosity but intentional generosity

  103. requires faith and planning. And so when

  104. we plan to give we're actually making

  105. room for God to move consistently in our

  106. lives not just occasionally. So making a

  107. plan forces clarity and priorities.

  108. Proverbs affirms this in 215. The plans

  109. of the diligent lead to profit, but

  110. surely as haste leads to poverty. To

  111. plan means to advise, to counsel, to

  112. devise a plan. So here's the point.

  113. Planning is not just a good idea.

  114. Planning is not just symbolic. Planning

  115. is biblical. And planning with our

  116. finances is biblical. Now, God gives us

  117. the free will to use our mind and get

  118. counsel to put the plan together. But

  119. the concept of planning is actually the

  120. heart of God. Because remember, God has

  121. a plan for mankind. God has a plan to

  122. rescue mankind. That's why he sent

  123. Jesus. That's why we're here today

  124. fulfilling his plan to redeem mankind

  125. back to him to extend the kingdom of

  126. God. So, we're all actual planners. The

  127. only difference is we choose to plan

  128. what's important.

  129. We choose to plan what's You all know

  130. this. Some of you every day you plan

  131. your day around your coffee fix. You do.

  132. You plan your beans. You you you plan

  133. where your machine is. You plan where

  134. you're going to go to get your coffee.

  135. You Sometimes you you sort of plan your

  136. schedule around your coffee. Others of

  137. you, you may plan around traffic or

  138. school drop off or a pedicure or a

  139. manicure or the big one. The big one.

  140. You ready? The hair appointment. You're

  141. not canceling that plan because you'll

  142. never get back in. So, that is a

  143. priority. Uh some of you plan to be

  144. intimate.

  145. Hey, we can talk about this. We're in

  146. church. It's okay. We we should be

  147. intimate as husband and wife. If you're

  148. not intimate, maybe you need to do a bit

  149. more planning. Put it in the calendar.

  150. Schedule it out. Uh I may at times uh

  151. plan around the weather. I may call an

  152. urgent board meeting.

  153. surfboard meet sometimes. We we all plan

  154. what is a priority, don't we? We all

  155. plan. We should plan when it comes to

  156. our finances to give to the Lord. Uh

  157. Paul wrote to Timothy, he says, "Tell

  158. them to use their money to do good."

  159. That they should be rich in good works

  160. and be generous to those in need. Always

  161. ready. What do they do? They're ready to

  162. share with others. You're not ready

  163. unless you plan. To be ready, you need

  164. to be prepared. We don't just respond to

  165. opportunities to give. We plan and

  166. prepare for them. You know, we don't

  167. tell the bank every week, "Oh, mate, I

  168. don't know if I can make the mortgage

  169. payment this week. You know, it's been a

  170. bit rough week and, you know, I had to

  171. buy that extra thing online and it's

  172. just not enough." We don't tell the

  173. electricity company, "Ah, I can't do the

  174. the whole electricity thing really. It's

  175. this doesn't work for me this week. I

  176. don't feel like it." You know, I'm I'm

  177. No, we plan we plan to make those

  178. payments. We we plan to pay those bills.

  179. In the same way, as followers of Christ,

  180. we should plan to use the resources God

  181. gives us for his kingdom, for his glory.

  182. Why? Why does this matter? Well,

  183. planning kind of shapes what you do and

  184. actually impacts who you become.

  185. Isaiah 32:8, remember said the generous

    Isaiah 32:8

  186. people, they plan to give. And what do

  187. they do? They stand firm. They stand

  188. firm in their generosity. Generous

  189. people stay stand firm. They don't get

  190. pushed around by their emotions or or or

  191. or the or the pressures. Now, I get it.

  192. Life changes, right? Income changes,

  193. jobs can change. You may lose your job.

  194. Plans can change. But we should all plan

  195. to have a plan when it comes to our

  196. finances.

  197. Well, that's why in this legacy series,

  198. and we close it out today, we have a

  199. legacy card. You're probably sitting on

  200. it. Why do we have a legacy card?

  201. Because it helps you think and we ask

  202. you to pray that you would get a plan.

  203. Maybe you can give over and above your

  204. normal giving a one-off gift. Pay 10

  205. bucks. That's great. Praise the Lord.

  206. Maybe you can see maybe I can get a plan

  207. and do a pledge. I can give a little bit

  208. more each month or each week. Or mainly

  209. you can say, "Hey, I might have a bonus

  210. coming in end of the year or tax return

  211. or something." So you can plan. The the

  212. reason we use these cards is to help you

  213. plan. It actually helps you. The other

  214. reason we use the cards is it helps us

  215. plan as a church. We know what wages we

  216. can pay. We know what's coming in. We

  217. can budget where we can advance the

  218. kingdom of God. Where we can spend. And

  219. so it's a planning piece of equipment. I

  220. love it because a plan helps us achieve

  221. great things for God. Genesis 41

  222. continues on. As predicted for seven

  223. years, the land produced a bumper crop.

  224. During those years, Joseph gathered all

  225. the crops grown in the Egypt and stored

  226. the grains from the surrounding

  227. villages, sorry, surrounding fields in

  228. the cities. He piled up huge amounts of

  229. grain like sand on the seashore.

  230. Finally, he stopped keeping records

  231. because there was too much to measure.

  232. Now, Joseph didn't create the abundance.

  233. He stewarded it. The miracle was in the

  234. planning and execution.

  235. The miracle was he heard from the Lord

  236. and he put actions in place to see the

  237. plan take place. [snorts]

  238. What we don't often realize in this

  239. story is not only did Joseph ask for 20%

  240. more tax from the the farmers. What

  241. Joseph did is he actually expanded

  242. the farming area in the years of plenty.

  243. Her historical records and archaeology

  244. and tradition suggest that Joseph he

  245. spearheaded this massive infrastructure

  246. infrastructure expansion. He built silos

  247. and canals and dams and waterways and

  248. places to store and even ways to get the

  249. grain to these [snorts] big silos. in

  250. these great years of of of surplus.

  251. There's a photo of this ancient canal

  252. known as Joseph's waterway. It still

  253. exists today. So, Joseph built a canal

  254. that was 300 kilometers long and it's

  255. physically evident today. And it was

  256. designed to designed to divert excess

  257. water from the Nile into these desert

  258. areas of the Tharium basin. And what

  259. that allowed was irrigation to take

  260. place in these desert lands and created

  261. new areas of agricultural expanding the

  262. ability to farm to get more uh crops and

  263. and have more animals and allowed that

  264. surplus year to just be a bumpy year.

  265. So, Joseph needed significant planning

  266. to pull this off. It wasn't just taxing

  267. the people. He actually had a plan to

  268. create more uh surplus. [snorts] Our

  269. problem, most of us, we want to be

  270. generous. We do. We we care. We want to

  271. bless others. We want to help the

  272. church. But our problem is we don't plan

  273. for it. We have good intentions, but

  274. without a plan, it's just not going to

  275. happen. You can think this girl is the

  276. most beautiful girl and she's the one

  277. without a plan to ask her out on a date.

  278. It's just not happening. Guys, get a

  279. plan. Ask her out.

  280. I think I'm joking. I'm serious. Come

  281. on, man. Stand up. Go.

  282. Invite a girl out. Get a plan.

  283. Get a coffee date. So, we need a plan to

  284. be generous. We need a plan. Okay. Well,

  285. what's my income? You know what? Can I

  286. put aside each week, you know, could I

  287. give up a coffee or is there extra jobs

  288. available? Can I get a few extra hours?

  289. Is there a tax return coming? So, we

  290. need a plan. Number one, giving needs a

  291. plan. [snorts] Number two, giving it

  292. actually helps you and your family. So,

  293. Joseph, he named his second son

  294. Ephereim, for he says, "God has made me

  295. fruitful in this land of my grief." Why

  296. is he calling it the land of his grief?

  297. You remember the story of Joseph? His

  298. brothers sold him into slavery. ended up

  299. in the uh prison and then finally he was

  300. in the palace but the whole time he's

  301. separated from his family. He's all

  302. alone in a foreign country. He loved his

  303. family. He loved his mom and dad. There

  304. was this just a focus of the Jewish um

  305. family was everything and he was alone.

  306. He was rejected. He he was cast out. And

  307. so there was this sort of longing in him

  308. yet he followed God's plan for his life.

  309. And what we're going to see is God's

  310. plan allowed him to be reconciled with

  311. his family. Today you you you may even

  312. have full of bad news and uh full of

  313. pain and hurt and and and disruption.

  314. You don't know what God's plan can do to

  315. restore relationships. You don't know

  316. how God's plan can help family. You

  317. don't know how God's plan can use you to

  318. benefit those around you. We can trust

  319. in God's plan. God sees things we can't.

  320. And God had a plan for Joseph. And God

  321. was faithful and obedient to outwork

  322. this plan that ultimately brought his

  323. family back together. When Jacob heard

  324. the grain was available in Egypt in

  325. Genesis 42:1, Jacob's his dad and they

    Genesis 42:1

  326. were kind of starving in this famine. He

  327. said to his sons, "Why are you standing

  328. around here looking at one another?" I

  329. love that verse. I I I think that's that

  330. summarizes my boys. Like, why are you

  331. standing around looking at each other?

  332. Just do something. Clear the table. Just

  333. wash the dishes. Like, there's jobs to

  334. be done, right? I don't have to tell

  335. you. Just stop looking at each other.

  336. It's the pet peeve there. Just I'm

  337. getting through I'm just processing out

  338. loud just to get through my challenges

  339. of having young adult boys at home. I I

  340. have heard there is grain in Egypt. go

  341. down there and buy enough grain to keep

  342. us alive. Otherwise, we will die. The

  343. famine was so bad. They're selling

  344. everything, selling themselves to try to

  345. survive. Please come closer,

  346. he said to them. Finally, the boys, they

  347. come and Joseph gets them in his palace

  348. as they come for grain. They came closer

  349. and he said to them, I

  350. I want you to feel the emotion of this.

  351. 15 odd years rejected, hated, separated,

  352. cast out, yet a longing to be home with

  353. his family. They're there. They didn't

  354. recognize him, but he recognized them

  355. and they're standing before him. The

  356. prophecy, the dream is being fulfilled.

  357. Joseph's been obedient with his plan on

  358. his life. He says, "I'm Joseph,

  359. your brother." He reminded them, "I'm

  360. I'm the one you sold into slavery."

  361. And then he says these beautiful words,

  362. "Don't be upset. I'm not here to rub

  363. your nose in it. I'm not here to say,"I

  364. told you so. I'm not here to get even,

  365. get back to you. I don't carry

  366. bitterness and unforgiveness. I want

  367. restoration. I want relationship.

  368. Don't be angry with yourselves for

  369. selling me into this place." He gives

  370. the honor back to a God. He says it was

  371. God. Isn't that great that we can see a

  372. difficult situation in our life and we

  373. can say it's God's working? You lost

  374. your job, divorce, whatever. You can say

  375. God can work in this. Not that God

  376. caused it, but God can work it out for

  377. his glory and for I love that it's God

  378. who does the work. He sent me here ahead

  379. of you to preserve your lives. This

  380. famine has ravaged the land for two

  381. years, but we're only two years in,

  382. boys. There's another five to go, and

  383. there'll be neither plowing nor

  384. harvesting. God has sent me ahead of you

  385. to keep you and your families. Why?

  386. What's the whole point of this plan? To

  387. keep you alive, giving and and us

  388. following the Lord. There's a plan that

  389. God has in our lives to rescue those

  390. around us, our family, our children, our

  391. grandchildren, our parents, that that

  392. we're part of a bigger plan. That's

  393. God's plan to rescue mankind. He sent me

  394. ahead to keep our families alive and to

  395. preserve many survivors. But it wasn't

  396. just to survive.

  397. It wasn't just to kind of make sure we

  398. restored. No. No. There was this plan to

  399. thrive. And so Pharaoh said to Joseph,

  400. "Tell your brothers, this is what you

  401. must do. Load your pack animals, hurry

  402. back to the land of Canaan, and then get

  403. your father and all the family are all

  404. together, mate. I love big families.

  405. We're all in it together. Come on, let's

  406. all go. And return here with me, and

  407. I'll give you what? Pharaoh says, "I'll

  408. give you the best, the best land of

  409. Egypt, and you [snorts] will eat from

  410. the best land, the best that the land

  411. produces." I love that our God gives us

  412. great hope in a future. I love that

  413. [snorts] his plan benefits us and our

  414. families. I kind of get annoyed with

  415. some of our young adults or some of our

  416. anyone for that matter who says, "I'll

  417. never own a home." That's not true.

  418. God's bigger and greater. God can have a

  419. plan for your life to have a place that

  420. you own that's secure where you can

  421. flourish and you can use it to bless

  422. others. I don't like that negative talk.

  423. It may take a hard work. It may take

  424. time. But God is a God that wants to

  425. bless you. Now, I don't believe in the

  426. prosperity doctrine where you give to

  427. get. God is not a coke machine, but God

  428. has a plan to bless your family through

  429. you. And and some people say, "I'll

  430. never be able to retire." Well, that's

  431. true. We never retire, right? We're

  432. always being used by God. But we can

  433. have finances in our security in our

  434. older age because God can put a plan in

  435. place that if we work on that plan and

  436. get wisdom and get good counsel that we

  437. can be blessed and we can bless others.

  438. So Bonnie and I, we wanted to make a

  439. plan uh to get ahead and we got a

  440. financial advisor into our house. She

  441. came in at dinnertime and she looked

  442. around. And there's five kids that are

  443. kind of like late teenagers at this

  444. time. And she looked at the books and I

  445. think she almost cried for us. She's

  446. like, [laughter] "I don't know how you

  447. do this." And she said just graciously,

  448. "You're in the trenches right now." Some

  449. of you, you're in the trenches. You know

  450. what that's like? What does that mean,

  451. the trenches? Money just going. It's

  452. just going. I don't know why, but God

  453. gifted us with this beautiful DNA of

  454. teeth that in our kids just they they

  455. they came out at 45 degree angle that

  456. they would just I don't know what

  457. happened there and I'll ask God when I

  458. get to heaven, but every one of them

  459. needed braces at 7K a pop. I mean,

  460. there's just costs, right? That there's

  461. sports there, there's private schools,

  462. there's just that we're in the trenches.

  463. Some of you know that. But she said,

  464. "You can still make a plan. And if you

  465. work faithfully and diligently and you

  466. save, it's a it's a word we can all use,

  467. save, and and and get some debt down,

  468. that'll position you." So, we faithfully

  469. worked the plan. Took us years. And and

  470. there were times we couldn't go out to

  471. dinner with our friends because that

  472. wasn't in the budget. And so, we

  473. faithfully stuck with the plan. And our

  474. first plan was sort of to build a granny

  475. flat. We wanted to build that for our

  476. family. So, we sort of got a plan

  477. together and put it through council and

  478. I have a building background. So, here's

  479. a photo of me putting the foundations

  480. together. I I formed it up and poured

  481. the concrete. I got a guy in to finish

  482. it for me. Then I hired a chippy 65 an

  483. hour and got him in and he put the frame

  484. up and I organized the contractors and

  485. we put this we worked the plan. I still

  486. had a full-time job. I just worked uh a

  487. day and a half on it each week on the

  488. weekends. And look at the end result

  489. that God has blessed us with this

  490. beautiful granny flat that we can use

  491. for our family stay there. My daughter

  492. Abby comes and stays. My mother stays

  493. there. And when I called it the granny

  494. flat, she thought it was hers. And I'm

  495. like, "No, that's kind of what you call

  496. an extra building. It's not really your

  497. No, it's the granny flat. It's mine. I'm

  498. granny. We call it granny." So, I'm

  499. still working through that issue, but

  500. it's it's, you know, we it's it's a

  501. blessing for our family. Sometimes our

  502. boys will say, "Hey, where's mom and

  503. dad? They're in the granny flat." What

  504. are they doing in the granny flat? Don't

  505. ask. Don't ask. Don't ask, Finn. Don't

  506. ask, Finn. They're just over in the

  507. granny flat. And we we we just have this

  508. beautiful place now. Why? It's blessing

  509. our family. Why? Because there's we

  510. worked a plan. God wants to give a plan

  511. for your life. And this is the power of

  512. giving. It builds examples for your

  513. children. Bonnie and I always give. We

  514. always do this legacy thing and we talk

  515. to our kids about it. It's an example we

  516. set for them to trust in the Lord. We've

  517. always been tithers. For 32 years, we've

  518. been married. Before that, I was a

  519. tither. I've always tithed. It's kept me

  520. humble. It's kept me dependent. It's

  521. kept God centered in my life. It builds

  522. discipline in our life. That discipline

  523. now can flow into other areas. Our

  524. marriage, date nights, um seeing each

  525. other, spending time. It builds

  526. disciplines in in all sorts of areas

  527. where we can flourish. Honestly, I look

  528. back and say it's only because of God's

  529. favor and blessing.

  530. But I had to play my part. I've always

  531. been just on an average wage, but God,

  532. as I've just done my little bit, God has

  533. done more with the favor. We love our

  534. kids. five kids all in church. We we we

  535. we gather most Sundays for lunch

  536. together. We we we have that great. It's

  537. just beautiful to see God's favor and

  538. blessing. God did that for Joseph. If

  539. God can do that for me, let me tell you,

  540. go God wants to do it for you. And it

  541. starts with a plan. When we seek the

  542. Lord, Proverbs 11:25 says, "A generous

    Proverbs 11:25

  543. person will prosper. Whoever refreshes

  544. others will be refreshed." There's

  545. something about when you're generous and

  546. you give, you refresh others, you get

  547. refreshed. That that God works through

  548. you. You're a conduit for his favor and

  549. his blessing. And I I just praise God

  550. for each one of you for your faithful

  551. giving. And we've had a plan here at

  552. Elevation to use the funds that are

  553. given for the glory of the Lord. I want

  554. to show a video of all six locations.

  555. Most will have 10 or 15 areas that

  556. they'll give to in legacy. They all just

  557. chose one. And I want you to look at the

  558. screen and celebrate what God has done.

  559. Well, we're one church meeting in six

  560. locations and our vision is to multiply

  561. healthy local churches to transform our

  562. city. Today, I want to say thank you.

  563. Thank you for partnering with this

  564. vision. Paul writes in Philippians 1:3,

    Philippians 1:3

  565. "Every time I think of you, I give

  566. thanks to my God." Now, Philippi was one

  567. of the first churches Paul planted. And

  568. he writes with this genuine affection

  569. because they stood by him from the

  570. beginning. They stood by him in the hard

  571. times. They prayed for him. They

  572. supported him relationships while he was

  573. in prison. They supported him

  574. financially with food and supplies. Paul

  575. saw them as true partners in the gospel.

  576. In the [music] same way, Bonnie and I

  577. thank God for each one of you as we

  578. partner together spreading the gospel,

  579. the most important, powerful message on

  580. planet Earth. And today, we take a

  581. moment to celebrate how your partnership

  582. has impacted countless lives through

  583. legacy giving. Here's just a snapshot of

  584. all six locations.

  585. At Elevation Mandra, we've partnered

  586. [music] with local schools and youth

  587. care chaplain by providing staff morning

  588. teas, numerous free pancake breakfasts,

  589. and bacon and egg rolls for a Mother's

  590. Day event. One of the schools wrote in

  591. their newsletter, "We're so fortunate to

  592. have the support of our local church,

  593. Elevation Church, by providing a

  594. delicious pancake breakfast for our

  595. staff [music]

  596. and students."

  597. Here at Elevation Cans, we've invested

  598. in some new technology that is allowing

  599. our deaf community to engage more in our

  600. service, in our preaching, our teaching,

  601. and our worship. It's the first step in

  602. allowing our deaf members to become

  603. fully immersed in our church community.

  604. Thank you.

  605. >> Hi guys, here at Elevation Church Castle

  606. Hill, every week we partner with

  607. Careavan. We give financially, but more

  608. so every week our people from our church

  609. go out and volunteer at Caravan. At

  610. Caravan, we are able to feed over 100

  611. people doing it tough, rough sleepers,

  612. families in need, and those that are

  613. vulnerable in our community here in

  614. Western Sydney. So, we're able to do

  615. over 100 people every single week. And

  616. at the end of the year, we also put on a

  617. lovely Christmas dinner for all of these

  618. people so we can have fellowship and we

  619. can come together and share the good

  620. news of Jesus Christ.

  621. >> Hi everybody, Pastor Mark here from

  622. Elevation Church Gold Coast. I'd love to

  623. highlight one of our latest initiatives

  624. and that is our winter homelessness

  625. packs. Here on the Gold Coast,

  626. approximately two and a half thousand

  627. people every night experience

  628. homelessness and that's due to various

  629. reasons through domestic and home

  630. violence. It can be through financial

  631. struggles and difficulties uh or [music]

  632. that can be through mental illness. And

  633. because of your generosity, we've been

  634. able to put together 100 winter homeless

  635. [music] packs full of beanies, gloves,

  636. scarves, drink bottles, toothbrush,

  637. toothpaste, and other personal items.

  638. So, thank you so much. You've played a

  639. massive role in [music] bringing dignity

  640. and value to the homeless people here on

  641. the Gold Coast. Thank you so much.

  642. >> Through Legacy in Penri, we've had an

  643. amazing year where, you know, we've been

  644. able to really invest into into people,

  645. into staff, into leadership. We've been

  646. able to to invest into new equipment.

  647. We've been able to actually move into a

  648. new location in the last year which has

  649. really been able to look at, you know,

  650. 30% growth in um attendance, more

  651. engagement in terms of kids and youth

  652. ministries, more engagement in terms of

  653. setting up life groups for people, and

  654. we just really encourage in terms of

  655. what this is doing um and how God's

  656. moving in our community. At Elevation

  657. Melbourne West, we partnered with

  658. Beautiful Crazy to deliver 293 bags to

  659. families with loved ones in ICU wards

  660. across Melbourne's four top trauma

  661. hospitals. These hugs in a bag let

  662. families know that they are seen and

  663. cared for in some of life's hardest

  664. moments. Wow. Oh my gosh. Talk about

  665. partnering with the Lord. Look at the

  666. good that we are doing. Over a million

  667. dollars has been given over the last 11

  668. months across our six locations.

  669. Unbelievable.

  670. Millions, literally millions of people

  671. impacted because of your generosity.

  672. Lives are being changed for eternity.

  673. Hope is being restored in the name of

  674. Jesus being made known. Thank you for

  675. your partnership with the vision of

  676. elevation to multiply healthy local

  677. churches to transform our cities. God

  678. bless.
