I love that
-
song. I love that that that line, these
-
bones will sing. Sometimes it feels like
-
you go to places and it feels like the
-
surface of people's skin is singing it,
-
but their bones aren't singing
-
it. Sometimes it feels like they're
-
singing from a depth that's not terribly
-
deep. But uh but my prayer is that we
-
would sing those words, great are you
-
Lord and that we'd sing them with an
-
everinccreasing depth of like man
-
singing it from the core of our being to
-
the point
-
that it's like a fire in our bones that
-
we could try and hold it back but we
-
couldn't we couldn't hold it back. That
-
the praise would come from the deepest
-
part of our being. the praise would come
-
from that part of us that's been so
-
deeply impacted by the goodness and the
-
grace and the glory and the beauty and
-
the wonder of God that you would each
-
person in this room have discovered that
-
place in the in the in the absolute
-
center of God's heart and that absolute
-
center would have found its place right
-
in the middle of your heart and that
-
from the very center of your being an
-
explosion of uncontrollable praise would
-
erupt out of
-
that I just feel this sense of of of the
-
of the the
-
the fact that God's wanting to unblock
-
wells in this room today. He's wanting
-
to unblock wells. There there's there's
-
a flow of the spirit. There's that if
-
God began a good work in you, he will
-
complete it till it's finished. And
-
there's people in this room and God
-
began a good work in you, but the
-
enemy's come and there's been
-
distraction or there's been
-
disappointment or there's been um
-
there's been things that have happened
-
in your life that have caused you to
-
kind of forget about the goodness of God
-
or to be distracted from that. And
-
there's a good thing that began in you
-
that wants to begin again in you. That
-
wants to begin again in you. I just see
-
the Holy Spirit coming and taking rocks
-
out of people's wells, out of the wells
-
of people's hearts as individuals in
-
this room that God's wanting to restore
-
hope in this room in individuals and
-
also as a church. I just get this sense
-
and I don't know really at all the
-
history of this church. But I get this
-
sense that God is wanting to unblock a
-
well in the church. That there's
-
something that began here. And there's
-
something that's about to be unblocked
-
so that it continue into its next phase
-
into the next thing that's on God's
-
heart. That there's something about a
-
restoration that there's like a spirit
-
of restoration in this room right now
-
that God wants to restore people and God
-
wants to restore things in the spirit in
-
this church. And so, Father, right now,
-
we thank
-
you that you are the ultimate
-
restorer. You are the ultimate restorer,
-
God. That even when we have lost
-
complete hope, God, you never, ever,
-
ever, ever lose hope. You never lose
-
hope, you're the God that restores. And
-
when you restore, God, you restore with
-
an
-
upgrade. You restore beyond where we
-
were, God. God, you're always breathing
-
life everywhere you go. And so we
-
declare right now your life over every
-
person. If you're here and you're just
-
like, man, I need God to unblock a well
-
in me. I there's I relate to that.
-
There's I I have let hopelessness have
-
its way in me and I need that sure and
-
joyful expectation of the very best
-
outcome again. I need that Holy Spirit
-
hope on the inside of me again. I need
-
that again. Maybe you've been struggling
-
with something in your life and you have
-
believing the Lord for breakthrough and
-
you haven't received that breakthrough
-
yet and God's like, "I want to give you
-
hope." If that's you, lift your hand up
-
right now. And if there's someone next
-
to you that's got their hand up, put
-
your hand on their shoulder and we're
-
just going to start to be the family of
-
God. We're going to start to pray for
-
one another. We're going to start if
-
there's if there's multiple hands up
-
then, you know, just make sure
-
everyone's got a hand on them that's got
-
a hand up right now. Right now we
-
declare in the name of Jesus we declare
-
hope. I declare God your hope. Not our
-
hope, not our good ideas, God, but your
-
supernatural hope. God, I declare grace
-
from the throne room of God. I declare
-
grace over every person's situation.
-
God, I declare breakthrough in the name
-
of Jesus. I declare breakthrough in
-
people's
-
bodies, breakthrough in relationships,
-
breakthrough in marriages. There's
-
people here in your children that
-
there's there's there's like prodical
-
sons and daughters. And you you've like
-
been holding on to that promise of them
-
coming back to the father, but you've
-
been like struggling to hold on to that.
-
And I just speak over you today that
-
today is your day of
-
breakthrough. I declare breakthrough
-
over you in the name of Jesus.
-
And I declare over this church right now
-
that something in the spirit has been
-
unblocked. That something in the spirit
-
is being
-
unblocked. Holy Spirit come. Holy Spirit
-
just come and rest on every person. Holy
-
Spirit come. We are we are we are
-
choosing hope this morning. And God we
-
are asking you to come and to do what
-
only you can
-
do. to do what only you can do. That
-
this is a house of miracles, God.
-
Because you are a God of
-
miracles. This is a house of
-
miracles. This is a a community that is
-
beyond what can be accomplished in the
-
natural. This is a community, God, that
-
is built and designed to confront the
-
impossible because of your grace.
-
because of your
-
grace. Because of your
-
grace, there's um there's some women
-
here with um like maybe it's
-
endometriosis or some kind of like thing
-
going on in your um stomach
-
area. If it might be embarrassing, I'm
-
not sure. But in a second, I'm going to
-
get you to put your hand up. There's
-
other other people here. You've got
-
tumors or cancer.
-
In a second, I'm going to get you to put
-
your hand up. There's other people here.
-
There's someone here and you've got um
-
some serious pain in your right knee.
-
It's like a sports injury. But if you've
-
just got pain in your right knee and
-
you're like, I didn't get it in a sports
-
injury, but I wish I wish it was just
-
me. Then it can be you as well. Just you
-
can just include yourself in that. Um
-
there's people here with hearing
-
problems.
-
There's people here with um like skin
-
conditions, like a skin, like a rash,
-
kind of a eczemary thing going
-
on. God wants to heal you. There's
-
people here that just need a miracle in
-
their body right
-
now. We serve a God. You're here because
-
you serve a
-
God that has forever healed the
-
sick. This is bread and butter. This is
-
the children's bread right here. Healing
-
is the children's
-
bread. Every single place that Jesus
-
went, he healed the sick. And I know
-
it's not news to you, but Jesus is here
-
this
-
morning. Which means it's totally
-
abnormal for us to be in a Christian
-
gathering and the sick not be healed.
-
I mean, to hear that miracles are
-
happening on
-
youth. I mean, it would be a miracle if
-
miracles didn't happen at youth.
-
I mean, how far can your faith stretch
-
to believe for maybe the possibility
-
that a miracle might not happen? That's
-
too far for my
-
faith. I don't have the capacity to
-
believe for
-
that because Jesus is here.
-
Jesus is here. Jesus is here. It's
-
absolutely normal and natural for
-
miracles to happen right now because
-
Jesus is here.
-
If you need a miracle, if I just called
-
out a condition that you're struggling
-
with or you just need a miracle, maybe
-
hey Matt didn't call out your condition,
-
but you can just you can just put
-
yourself in there. There's miracles for
-
you. Just put your hand up right
-
now. Just put your hand up right
-
now. Put your hand up. This is not like
-
a healing meeting, but it's a Jesus
-
meeting. So therefore, it's kind of is a
-
healing meeting. Just put your hand up.
-
If you're next to someone with their
-
hand up again, go find someone with
-
their hand up. Go put your hand on their
-
shoulder and maybe ask them what's going
-
on for
-
them. Don't get into a big long
-
conversation, but just just briefly,
-
very briefly, tell them what's going on.
-
If if you've got your hand up and no
-
one's praying for you yet, just leave
-
your hand up. And if your your if you're
-
not hand is not up, you're part of the
-
ministry team right now.
-
um just come and find
-
someone and in in 10 seconds we're going
-
to pray all together in 10 seconds. So
-
quickly quickly start wrapping up um
-
sharing what's going on and get ready to
-
pray.
-
Okay, right now everyone
-
just everyone just sh
-
everyone before you pray keep your hand
-
on their
-
shoulder and I just want
-
you to
-
internally turn your complete attention
-
to
-
Jesus. I don't want you to think about
-
the sickness that you're praying for. I
-
don't want you to think about the
-
healing that needs to take place. I just
-
want you to think about
-
Jesus. I just want you to think about
-
how amazing the presence of Jesus
-
is. I want you to be aware of the
-
presence of Jesus around you right now
-
because it's his presence that
-
heals. It's his power that
-
heals. And and from that
-
place, I want you just to receive from
-
the presence of Jesus and release that
-
presence on the person that you're
-
praying for right now. I want you to
-
receive it and release it. And you can
-
release it with words. You can release
-
it with a prayer. You can release it by
-
whatever kind of faith mechanism comes
-
to mind for you. But right now, we pray
-
over this room. We declare over this
-
room. You can start to pray with me. We
-
pray over this room. We declare over
-
this room right now.
-
the weight of your glory. God, we
-
declare over this room right now healing
-
in the name of Jesus. We declare
-
miracles over this room. We declare
-
miracles over this room. Miracles over
-
this room. Every single tumor, we
-
command you to disappear right now. We
-
command you to disappear right now.
-
Deafness, we command you to go right
-
now.
-
sickness and disease,
-
cancer, we command you to go right now
-
in the name of Jesus
-
Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, we
-
take authority over every sickness.
-
Headaches leave right now. We ask you,
-
God, where bodies need to be put back
-
together
-
again. We ask for creative miracles for
-
bodies to be put back together
-
again, where body parts are missing or
-
where things are uh are needed. Maybe
-
there's cartilage that's missing in the
-
knee or wherever it might be that we
-
just ask for a creative miracle right
-
now.
-
God, we ask you to do what you can do
-
that we cannot
-
do. Thank you,
-
Father. Thank you,
-
Father. Thank you, Jesus. Wow. Thank
-
you, Jesus. Okay, now just quickly test
-
it out. We're not going to spend very
-
long on this, but just quickly test it
-
out. Someone at youth, by the way, um
-
got uh had hurt their shoulder in um in
-
August last year snowboarding and they
-
didn't have full movement of their
-
shoulder and but they never checked it
-
out in the service. They were going home
-
and they were driving their car and they
-
realized they had all their movement
-
back.
-
But so the point is you got to test it
-
out. You got to test it. Otherwise,
-
maybe you don't know if you've been
-
healed. So, test it out. Test it out.
-
Test it out. Test it out. Just quickly
-
just test it out. Just quickly test it
-
out. Some of you will be healed right
-
now. Some of you be healed through the
-
meeting. Some of you be healed at
-
different points. But just test it out.
-
Test it out. Now, give me a wave if you
-
feel a difference or if you feel healed
-
or you feel like you received something.
-
Just lift your hand up down here. Up
-
here. Awesome. Anyone else? Just over
-
here. Awesome. Anyone else? Over here.
-
Over here. Over here. There's heaps of
-
your hands. Come on, Jesus. Come on,
-
Jesus. Come on,
-
Jesus.
-
Yes. Oh, wow. Well, if you just lifted
-
your hand up, or if you're like, man, I
-
didn't lift my hand up because I was
-
scared that if I did lift my hand up,
-
you were going to get me to come and say
-
what happened on the microphone, and I
-
didn't want to be exposed like that, so
-
I kept my hand down. Sometimes that does
-
happen.
-
Um then my instruction to you and my
-
encouragement to you is before you leave
-
this room, please come and tell a leader
-
or someone that you know that is
-
connected to this church. Please come
-
and tell them what happened because we
-
really want to use the testimony of what
-
happened in your life right now to to go
-
home this evening and praise God with to
-
just actually give thanks to
-
God. Okay. By the way, uh David said
-
this, I will magnify you with
-
thanksgiving. I will magnify you. If we
-
don't know what God's done, we can't
-
give
-
thanks. But once we know what he's done,
-
now we can say thank you. And when we
-
say thank you, something's magnified.
-
I will magnify you with thanksgiving. In
-
other words, magnify means to make more
-
powerful. I will make you more powerful
-
or make you bigger through
-
thanksgiving. When we're talking about
-
miracles and we're thanking him for
-
miracles, when we give thanks for that,
-
what that does is it increases, it makes
-
bigger the realm of miracles in the
-
community that we're giving thanks in.
-
Now, you can't make God more powerful
-
because he's already all powerful. But
-
you
-
can you can cooperate with his power and
-
his authority and bring that more so
-
into your environment through
-
Thanksgiving. Okay. Awesome. So, that's
-
my instruction to you. Um, do you mind
-
if I if I come down here? Is that okay?
-
Is that all right? Does it gonna mess
-
with anything?
-
All right. Praise the Lord.
-
Um, thank you, Jesus. Uh, I I I I don't
-
like standing on stages because um I
-
don't think Jesus
-
does. I just get this. I mean, I love I
-
Bless the stage. Bless the stage. Bless
-
the stage. I It's a good-look stage.
-
I've got nothing at all against that
-
stage. And I love Oh, can we just give
-
the musicians a hand?
-
Thanks, guys. That was so good. Um, but
-
I just get this sense all the time when
-
I'm on a stage that Jesus is Jesus
-
doesn't want any any sense of separation
-
between him and his people. And I just
-
always get this sense like if Jesus was
-
preaching this morning, he would jump
-
off the stage. He would just want to be
-
as close as possible to
-
you. Okay, so that's I want to be like
-
Jesus. So therefore, I'm off the stage.
-
Um, hey, um, it's awesome to be here.
-
What an awesome church. Thanks guys so
-
much for having me. Um
-
uh um Oh, yes.
-
Skate. Boom. My little daughter there,
-
she's reminding me, I I said to them,
-
there's a couple of other words I've got
-
to chuck into my message today. But I
-
said to all the kids, I said, um, you
-
can give me one word and I've got to try
-
and sneak it into the sermon. And so
-
Mila's like, remember the word, remember
-
the word. So I just escaped.
-
Boom. Was that the It's half cheating
-
what I just did there. But
-
um thank you Lord. Thank you Lord. I get
-
that
-
done. Get that done. But it's so good to
-
be here and what an awesome group of
-
people and just to just to feel the
-
feeling of worshiping with you guys and
-
to feel the hunger and to feel
-
the I get this sense of that God you are
-
great. I get this sense of that going
-
deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper
-
and deeper and deeper and deeper and
-
deeper with you guys. I just want to
-
encourage you to just pursue that
-
culture of worship and prayer in this
-
church. There's something so that God
-
wants to unblock in the spirit and it's
-
just there's a flow of the spirit that
-
God wants to have in this place. That's
-
beautiful. So, um uh it's awesome to be
-
here. My name is Matt Lansdown.
-
Um, and uh, we're from Tidor. Just in
-
case you don't know anything about us,
-
we're from Tidor. This is my wife Renee
-
and Ma and Sienna and my other daughter
-
Ari somewhere in the room and uh, over
-
here. And, um, and there's lots of you
-
that I know in this room. So, it's good
-
to see you all. I won't name names, but
-
awesome to see you all. And, uh, we
-
currently are, um, running a an
-
organization, a ministry called We See
-
Gold. We we focus on encouraging the
-
church and empowering the church to live
-
as sons and daughters like Jesus Christ.
-
That the normal Christian life is the
-
life that looks like Jesus. And anything
-
less than the life of Jesus is less than
-
normal. And if we're less than normal,
-
then there's room to repent back into
-
normal again. So um that's that's our
-
emphasis. We also uh do a lot of mission
-
work particularly in Southeast Asia. Uh
-
we um currently doing a project on the
-
Thai Myanmar border which I can't really
-
share that much about other than
-
um it's the called the Jesus rice
-
project and we're smuggling Jesus and
-
rice to people who are stuck in a war
-
zone. Um and that's really cool and
-
exciting. We're planting churches in
-
these encampments in the jungle in a
-
particular place in Asia and um and
-
people are getting fed who otherwise
-
won't eat and they're receiving Jesus.
-
um in some of the toughest
-
situations really that I've ever seen on
-
planet Earth. So um it's pretty cool
-
watching God God work. Um in December,
-
Renee was there and she saw uh they
-
prayed as a team for Sorry, I'm trying
-
to get this lid off at the same time.
-
There you go. There you go. Um there was
-
a a person in one of the one of the
-
camps that was paralyzed who just jumped
-
out of bed. Actually, after the team
-
left, they prayed, they stayed in bed,
-
and then after they left, they got a
-
call saying, "As soon as you left, we I
-
jumped out of bed and was totally
-
healed." And um lots and lots and lots
-
of miracles. Uh I think everyone that
-
when Renee was there, everyone in one of
-
the places that was able to test if they
-
if they were healed or not, every single
-
person they prayed for was healed.
-
That's uh that's pretty cool. That's
-
pretty cool. So, thank you, Jesus. Lots
-
of people receiving Jesus. Lots of
-
people having demons cast out and thank
-
you, God. So, that's a little bit about
-
us. I'll drink to
-
that. Oh my gosh, there's a great cloud
-
of witnesses here, too. I didn't even
-
see you guys up
-
there. Well, the the upper room. Come
-
on.
-
Yes.
-
Well, okay. Well, I've got something I
-
want to share with you and then after I
-
finish sharing a few things, uh, we're
-
going to get the worship team back up
-
and we're going to pray for some people.
-
And there's some stuff that I think God
-
wants to do. But we're in a moment right
-
now where where God
-
is God is raising up a David
-
generation. God is raising up a David
-
generation. There's something about the
-
life of David that is relevant for right
-
now. Now, that's probably been said for
-
the last 20 years, but it is is more
-
true today than it was a year ago, than
-
it was 2 years ago, than it was three
-
years ago, than it was four years ago.
-
There's something about right now in the
-
life of David. Often there are there are
-
types and shadows that are represented
-
by one person that God uses that one
-
person as an example of what would be
-
true or will be true of a generation to
-
follow. Like for example, Jacob. Jacob
-
was one man. He laid his head on a
-
stone and he went to sleep and the
-
heavens were opened up and a ladder was
-
was uh set up over Jacob. The angels of
-
God were ascending and descending on the
-
ladder. He woke up. He said, "Surely God
-
was in this place but I knew it not and
-
this is none other than the house of
-
God, the gate of heaven." And then Psalm
-
24 says this, um this is the generation
-
of Jacob, those who seek your face,
-
referring straight back to Jacob and
-
that encounter. And so what is what is
-
true is that Jacob was one man who
-
represented what would be true. He was a
-
prophetic type and a shadow of what
-
would be true of an entire
-
generation. And David is also that David
-
is a type and a shadow of what is true
-
of this generation right now. You could
-
have said it about the last generation
-
as well, but it is more true now than it
-
was then. There's something about David
-
right now. There's there's all these
-
different things that are pointing to
-
that. One thing is that the David has
-
anyone seen the the house of
-
David. Yes. Oh man, I can't believe how
-
many Christians have not seen that.
-
Guys, you need to watch that. I know
-
like some of you don't believe in TV and
-
stuff, but you should just watch that.
-
You should just watch that. It's such a
-
good series. And um there's something
-
about about a declaration of the life of
-
David. And that's
-
cool
-
because we don't have a Goliath problem.
-
We have a lack of David
-
problem. We don't have a darkness
-
problem. We have a lack of light
-
problem. The solution is not strategies
-
to try and get rid of Goliath. We have a
-
lot of Goliath. We have a lot of things,
-
a lot of giants in the land that we're
-
living in right now. We have a lot of
-
giants that are trying to occupy the
-
promised land that God has promised to
-
us to occupy that has promised to the
-
kingdom of God. And there's lots of
-
giants that are absolutely
-
intimidating. There's lots of giants
-
that are beyond our particular personal
-
capacity to
-
overcome. There are lots of obstacles
-
that when you look at them, they're
-
actually they are actually hands down
-
impossible.
-
There are lots of things that when we
-
look at those things for example there's
-
something that we're praying into right
-
now which is there's
-
um trying to say this in a short way
-
there there are uh one issue that we're
-
praying into and seeking the Lord for a
-
solution to is that there is right now
-
there's a human trafficking issue on the
-
border that we work
-
alongside and the human human
-
trafficking issue is this um dynamic
-
where there are scam camps set up in the
-
Myanmar side of the Thai Myanmar border.
-
And these scam camps um that what they
-
do is they kidnap people and they
-
traffic them into these compounds which
-
are the size of entire they are entire
-
cities and they force them in prison.
-
They force them to scam people in the
-
west. So the people that scam you are
-
not doing it because they want to do it.
-
They're doing it because if they don't
-
do it, they get tortured or
-
killed. And so there are currently in
-
one of the places that we work, there
-
are 200,000 approximate people who are
-
being held against their will, forced to
-
scam people every day. If they don't
-
make 10 to 20,000 US a day, they're
-
electrocuted and and are not allowed to
-
sleep until they make that money. And if
-
they don't make the money, then the
-
consequences are much
-
worse. Now, this is protected by
-
government armies, by all these
-
different
-
organizations that you can't get
-
through. You can't do anything about
-
this. But God can do something about it.
-
God, we have there are giants in the
-
land that are utterly intimidating, but
-
then they do not intimidate God. We
-
don't have a darkness problem. We have a
-
lack of light problem. We don't have a
-
Goliath problem. We just need David's.
-
Goliath is never the problem. The
-
problem is where where when will David
-
rise
-
up? And I just want to encourage you
-
like if there's one David in here, then
-
it's worth me being
-
here. I feel like there's many Davids
-
and David
-
here. This is actually a generation of
-
David. I was in Bali. I just want to
-
share the story with you to illustrate
-
what I mean by David rising up. I was in
-
Bali a few years ago now and uh and I
-
tell this story often when I'm sharing
-
this because because this story was like
-
it just it just drove it home for me.
-
But I was in Bali. I was in the end of a
-
about a 10 to two week mission trip.
-
I've been in Indonesia with the team and
-
we had been uh ministering night and day
-
in the middle of the day lunchtime all
-
through the day. We were doing like
-
almost 24 hours. It was crazy. We were
-
speaking right through the night. and
-
then driving through the night, arriving
-
in the morning at another place,
-
speaking all day and ministering. And I
-
got to the end of that trip and I was
-
just, to be quite honest,
-
exhausted. I was like, man, I just need
-
um I'm just I'm just ready for this to
-
be the last meeting and I'm ready to
-
then go home and sleep for a year. And
-
uh it was in this church in Bali, quite
-
a big church, about a thousand people in
-
this church. And um I was speaking in
-
this church and we're I don't remember
-
what I was talking
-
about something about Jesus and um and
-
then we said if uh if you need a miracle
-
then stand up and and about I mean just
-
guessing but about it seemed like about
-
600 people stood up and then I thought
-
okay what we'll do is to try and avoid
-
having to lay hands on every single
-
person because I'm I'm really I don't
-
want to be burning flesh. I want to stay
-
burning oil. Like I'm feeling exhausted.
-
I'm not feeling really like I have what
-
it takes to finish this meeting. We're
-
just going to do a blanket prayer and
-
see. Lord, just please just heal
-
everybody. And so a whole bunch of
-
people got healed. Um but then still
-
about 200 or so, maybe even more came up
-
the front after that. And I thought,
-
okay, well, let's let's just let's just
-
pace I'll pace myself. I'll pace myself.
-
So started praying for this person, this
-
going just try just walking along the
-
the room praying for people, praying for
-
people, laying hands on people. You get
-
to about 30 or 40 people left and I'm
-
thinking, okay, I've got about this much
-
energy. Um I know you guys aren't like
-
this. You guys are like just just like
-
got a you just plumbed in and
-
everything's good. But for me, I
-
sometimes feel exhausted every now and
-
again. And so 30 40 people get and I'm
-
down to like 10 people. I'm thinking,
-
okay, I've got 10 people grace left. So,
-
I'm I'm rationing the grace for each of
-
these people, and I'm thinking, oh, this
-
bit of grace for that person, this bit
-
for that person, and then I'll be like
-
completely out. I'll crawl to lunch. But
-
then I'm thinking there's definitely
-
going to be some people hiding in the
-
seats that will pop up like mircats, you
-
know, and you're like, and so probably
-
another 15 20 of them. So, I've got a
-
rationale. I'll give each of them a
-
third of the portion I first assigned to
-
them because of the knowledge that
-
there's people like me cats hiding in
-
the seats. So I get to the end of this
-
and then sure enough and they all right
-
come up and I've I've I've already a lot
-
of grace for you guys too. And so we're
-
just praying and and stuff's happening
-
and now I get to the last person and I'm
-
like okay I I am
-
done. And then I see these two guys, my
-
two friends from the church start to
-
walk down with this person there.
-
There's persons walking in the middle of
-
them both and she's got a like a Muslim
-
head covering thing on and I'm like, "Oh
-
no, they're looking at me. They're
-
looking at me. Don't look at me." So I
-
did this.
-
Hello.
-
Hello. Yeah. No. Good. Good. Yeah.
-
Great. And they sort of were doing what
-
you guys are doing now that like I could
-
probably just walk out of the church now
-
and you guys would just be okay with
-
that. So just pretending I was on the
-
phone and then they they they blocked
-
the aisle and I'm
-
like, "Ah, I'll just call you back. Hang
-
on." And then and then uh they said,
-
"Um, we need you to pray for this one
-
last person." And I'm thinking, "Okay,
-
Lord, just let it just be like um you
-
know, she's going to she's got exams or
-
something. I just bless her exams, you
-
know, like something easy, something
-
just
-
easy. Everything's easy for God, but
-
sometimes things don't seem easy for
-
you." And I was like, "Please don't be a
-
Goliath." And they said, "Yeah, she's um
-
first time ever in a Christian church.
-
She's um 21 years old, and for 21 years
-
since she was born, she's had tumors in
-
her throat. And they're so big now
-
they've proceeded beyond the edge of her
-
chin. So it's just chin straight down
-
like that. She's had to have a hole
-
drilled here so she can breathe and she
-
can't eat food through her mouth. It has
-
to be here. And um she's in 11 out of 10
-
pain constantly. And she's come because
-
she's believing the Lord for a
-
miracle. I'm like, Lord, this is like
-
the opposite of what I was hoping for.
-
I I I I just I just don't have I don't I
-
already allotted all the grace and now
-
there's nothing left. I I'm fully
-
burning flesh. I've got nothing left.
-
I'm dry as a
-
bone. And the Lord said to
-
me, "You're my You're my boy. I'm your
-
father. I'm not looking for someone to
-
do my job. I'm already good at my job. I
-
don't want to retire. You don't need to
-
be good at my job. You just need to be
-
good at being a little boy with a big
-
papa. You just need to be good at being
-
a little boy with a good father. And
-
right now, you need to lean back into
-
me. And I have grace. You don't have to
-
have grace because I have grace. All you
-
you don't need to be the preacher, the
-
the healing guy, the revivalist, the
-
whatever other title you've given
-
yourself. You don't need to be that. You
-
just need to be my son because sons
-
reveal the father.
-
It's sons that reveal the father. And so
-
I said, "Okay, well, I can do that. I
-
can lean back and I can I can I can put
-
my proverbial head on the pillow of the
-
resting place of the fact that I'm a son
-
and I can rest back and just lean back
-
into that and trust." And so I did and
-
we prayed. And uh she starts to
-
cry. And after about two minutes, she
-
opens her eyes and she says this. She
-
says something that is a kind of a side
-
note, but it's profound. She said,
-
"Wow." She's crying, obviously moved.
-
"Wow, I'm
-
like maybe
-
like 10%
-
better." Like all the tumors are all
-
still there. All still there. I'm like,
-
that's what people say when they're
-
trying to let you down easily.
-
That's what people say when they're
-
trying to say like, you know, nothing
-
happened, but just so that you can be a
-
little bit encouraged guy that prayed
-
for me, I'm about 10% better. Yeah, now
-
you can go thank the Lord for the 10%
-
and I can go away knowing that I haven't
-
made you feel
-
bad. That's normally what people say,
-
but she and and 10% is like really 10%.
-
I mean, how do you judge 10%.
-
Like most people aren't encouraged by
-
that or it's even maybe just in your
-
head to be honest. That's honestly
-
sometimes it's in it's not actually
-
actual real something maybe actually
-
hasn't
-
happened. But she is weeping and she is
-
so thankful and she's not even a
-
Christian. I've never from before that
-
and even after that I've never seen a
-
Christian respond with so much
-
thankfulness as this Muslim girl. I will
-
magnify you with thanksgiving. And so I
-
thought, well, I've got to pray for you
-
at least one more time. So prayed
-
again. Just a little boy with a big
-
papa. I got no energy, but you've got
-
lots of energy, God. And then she starts
-
to shout. I've got my one hand here and
-
one hand here. And she starts to
-
go like a thing on the top of a piano.
-
What are they called? A metronome. She's
-
like a human metronome just
-
going. And then she starts to whail. She
-
starts to just whail with like
-
uncontrollable sobbing. And like to the
-
point I vividly remember this bit of
-
snot coming out of her nose. And it was
-
like swinging like a bomb knocker, like
-
a stringy bit of snot. And I was like,
-
and it was like shoo. And I was like
-
just trying to like please don't clip
-
the lower part of my pants. Just you
-
don't want like a big stringy bit of
-
snot on my pants. And I was I remember
-
like thinking, Lord, just touch her.
-
Whoa, watch out for the bombing knocker.
-
You know, you're thinking all the
-
practical things as well as the
-
spiritual things at the same time. And
-
then and then um after about 3 minutes,
-
she's still sobbing. She's standing
-
there and just the presence is just
-
super thick. And she says she pulls her
-
scarf down. There's no tumors. No tumors
-
there. And then she says um she says,
-
"When you prayed for me, uh" and she's
-
sobbing. She says, "A hand that wasn't
-
your hand. I could feel your hands where
-
your hands were. But you but a hand that
-
wasn't your hand went underneath my skin
-
and pulled the tumors out like ripped
-
them out is the word that she used. And
-
they're not there anymore. And I'm not
-
in pain at all. And she's freaking out.
-
[Applause]
-
Okay. The next morning she's um she's
-
trying to do her prayer to Mecca, you
-
know, do her Muslim prayer. And they
-
have like the words that they've got to
-
say. They've got a prescribed set of
-
words that they've got to say for their
-
their particular prayer that they've got
-
to do in that part of the morning. And
-
all she could all she's saying in her
-
head, she's saying the words that she's
-
meant to say, but the words that are
-
coming out of her mouth are the lyrics
-
of the song that we're singing. God,
-
show me your glory. And she's like, "No,
-
no, say the Muslim prayer and show me
-
your glory. Show me." She realizes, man,
-
nothing is coming out of my mouth except
-
for show me your glory. So she decided
-
to go back to the conference the next
-
day back at the same place that we were.
-
She walks in, she starts balling as she
-
walks into the church. She gave her
-
heart to Jesus that day. Had an
-
encounter in heaven and then that
-
afternoon she was baptized in the
-
pastor's pool and she's still serving in
-
that church
-
today. Thank you,
-
Jesus. That's so good. That's so good.
-
But I tell you what, like sometimes
-
you've just got to you've just got to
-
position yourself. You've got to remind
-
yourself. You got to
-
remember that it's not on you.
-
That your life is meant to feel
-
impossible. Your life is meant to feel
-
your your the way that you've been
-
designed. God has designed your life and
-
prepared your life and allotted your
-
life. So so that giants are on your path
-
on purpose.
-
That it's meant to feel impossible
-
because it's meant to position you. It's
-
meant to encourage you. It's meant to
-
draw you into this place where you draw
-
near to him so that he can draw near to
-
you. It's meant to draw you into this
-
place where you become where you step
-
into who you are, a son or a daughter of
-
God with a good father and where God, I
-
can't do it, but you
-
can. It's meant to draw you into trust,
-
not into
-
striving. We don't have a Goliath
-
problem. We have a lack of David
-
problem. I love the story of David. I
-
love the story of David. There's so many
-
things about David that I love, but I
-
love the fact that he was the the the
-
least of the least, that he was the
-
outcast of the family that when Samuel
-
came to anoint the next king of Israel,
-
the seven
-
sons, all David's brothers were there
-
except for David. And then Samuel's
-
like, "It's none of these guys. You must
-
have a son that you're hiding in a
-
cupboard somewhere."
-
you know, the the one that you're
-
ashamed of or the one that's like you've
-
you've you've counted out, the one that
-
is just like in your mind definitely not
-
going to be right for the job, but where
-
is he? And and Jesse goes and gets him.
-
He comes and he's he's like, "This is
-
the one." God judges an outwards uh
-
sorry, man judges outward appearance,
-
but God looks at the
-
heart. God doesn't look at what what um
-
sorry, yeah, God doesn't look at what
-
you can do in the natural. God looks at
-
what is in your
-
heart and he anoints David, the king of
-
uh the next king of Israel. And then not
-
long after that, David is going to the
-
front line of battle to give his
-
brothers
-
food. And he sees this giant Goliath
-
taunting the armies of
-
Israel. And Da and David is is all
-
right. Who's he's asking for a champion?
-
Who's
-
going? I mean, surely there's someone
-
out of this massive Israeli army that's
-
going to go and take out just this giant
-
guy, this Goliath guy. I mean, Israel,
-
you guys are the most elite army on the
-
face of the earth. You have more
-
training. You've been more equipped. You
-
have more equipment. Sure, you're
-
outnumbered, but you guys like I mean,
-
you guys, every one of you is worth at
-
least 10 of them. Like, you guys are
-
elite. any one of you could go take on
-
this guy. And they're like, "No way,
-
man. We're not going." Have you seen
-
that guy? He's huge. Have you seen that
-
guy? He's massive. You know, you are you
-
are you will be you will be overwhelmed.
-
You were designed to be
-
overwhelmed. You were designed by God to
-
be overwhelmed by God. And if you're not
-
overwhelmed by God, you'll be
-
overwhelmed by something else by
-
default. If you're not positioning
-
yourself daily to be overwhelmed by God
-
in the secret place, then there will be
-
a vacuum on your life that will draw you
-
draw you into a place where you will
-
become overwhelmed by something you were
-
never meant to be overwhelmed by. That
-
you need to remember to come before the
-
face of God in the secret place and
-
daily be overwhelmed by his
-
goodness. That the army of Israel were
-
overwhelmed by
-
Goliath. They were overwhelmed. They
-
were looking at him and thinking, "Man,
-
have you seen that guy? There's no way
-
that I have anything to to use, any
-
effort that I can put in to defeat this
-
guy." And David's like, "I I I seen that
-
guy,
-
but have you seen that
-
guy? Like, you guys, well, you guys are
-
overwhelmed by this guy. You forgot to
-
be overwhelmed by this guy."
-
And David says, "I I'll go take him on."
-
And they're like, "You're a boy. I'm
-
yeah I'm a boy with a good father. It's
-
not about who I am. It's not about
-
whether I've trained where I've done my
-
40-day fast or whether I've done three
-
years at Bible college or whether I've
-
read the Bible from cover to cover or
-
whether I've got experience in healing
-
the second raising the dead or casting
-
demons out or whatever my qualification
-
is. Doesn't
-
matter. It's not about my qualification.
-
You can look at me and say, "Yeah,
-
you're a little boy. What are you going
-
to do exactly? What am I going to do?
-
Here's what I'm going to do. I'm going
-
to step on the
-
field. I'm going to step on the field.
-
And when I step on the field, it's not
-
about me stepping on the field. It's
-
about the fact that he steps on the
-
field. Cuz he doesn't leave me nor
-
forsake me. He's with me everywhere I
-
go. He is in my steps with me. He wears
-
my shoes with me. When I go to the
-
supermarket after church, he goes to the
-
supermarket with me. When I go to the
-
cafe, he goes to the c When I go on the
-
airplane, he goes on the airplane. When
-
I go home to my family, he goes home to
-
my family with me, in me, alongside me.
-
I live and move and have my being in
-
him. He has covenanted himself to me. He
-
loves
-
you. He refuses to be separate from you.
-
Separation is an illusion.
-
So he goes to Saul and Saul says, "Um,
-
well, you you you know, you're a boy.
-
Like there's no way." And he says,
-
"Well, in my defense, I have killed a
-
lion and a
-
bear."
-
And which
-
actually actually is pretty epic. I
-
mean, that is worth taking note of. So
-
Saul's like, "Wow, all right. Yeah.
-
Well, you do seem convinced and okay,
-
you've killed a lion and a bear and your
-
brothers are there to testify to that.
-
So, all right, cool. Well, let's give
-
you a go, but make sure you wear my
-
armor. So, David put Saul's armor on.
-
Now, Saul's armor obviously represents
-
the ability of man. Obviously represents
-
what man can do, what people around you
-
can, what external sources other than
-
God can do to qualify you for a job that
-
God can only qualify you for.
-
And so he puts on David's armor and
-
sorry, Saul's armor and he starts to
-
walk and he's like,
-
"Man, I
-
just I just can't really walk in this. I
-
can't really be myself in this. I can't
-
really It's just It's just not me." And
-
it's true. It is just not you. And for
-
you in this room, it's just not you
-
either. That that your life is not meant
-
to be propped up by the qualification of
-
man. You're not life is not meant to be
-
um
-
um that's not meant to be where your
-
significance or where your strength
-
comes from, where your confidence comes
-
from. It's not from what you can do to
-
achieve confidence, but it's from what
-
he's already
-
done. It's from what he's already
-
done. And he says, I just got to go as
-
me. I'm going to leave your sword. I'm
-
going to leave your spear. I'm going to
-
leave the shear. I'm leaving the arm.
-
I'm leaving all of that stuff behind. I
-
I I can't s
-
Thanks, but I can't rely on that. That
-
can't be where my trust is because it's
-
not about my ability. And I have to make
-
sure I'm intentional about
-
that. I can't fluke that. I need to be
-
intentional in my life to position
-
myself in a way where it's all him.
-
and he goes to this river which
-
represents the spirit and he reaches and
-
he pulls out five smooth
-
stones which is awesome. Five smooth
-
stones. Now stone is translated um the
-
Hebrew word for stone. There's three
-
Hebrew words for stone but this
-
particular word used here is the word
-
that is every time it's used as crazy
-
prophetic. And it's not always this word
-
that's translated in English as stone,
-
but sometimes it is. And this word in
-
this particular occasion is the Hebrew
-
word abim, which means uh which is two
-
Hebrew words joined together. Aba
-
meaning father and ben meaning
-
son. Also, Jacob laid his head on a
-
stone on an aban. Father and son fused
-
as one. It's John 17.
-
It's me and my father. We are one and
-
you are one with us. It's this oneness
-
with God. It's the oneness. It's the
-
union. It's communion. It's this it's
-
this dynamic that we get to live in him
-
and him in us. That we are not separate
-
even for a moment. That the veil is not
-
half torn. The veil is fully
-
torn in our minds. We were once
-
alienated from God in our minds.
-
But there's a veil in Christ. When one
-
turns to the Lord, the veil is lifted.
-
There's something about the fact that
-
that veil is lifted and we are conscious
-
now of the fact that we are living in
-
him and he is living in us. We are one
-
with him. We are up. And David reaches
-
in as a representation of what would be
-
true of an entire generation. And he
-
reaches and he takes out those five
-
stones and he comes to Goliath. And
-
Goliath says, "What do you you what are
-
my dog that you come to me with sticks
-
and
-
stones?" And David's thinking,
-
"Yeah,
-
yeah, yeah, but you just lost sight that
-
yeah, I'm little. Yeah, maybe sticks and
-
stones." Okay, all true. But you can't
-
see something. There's an invisible
-
reality that you're about to become
-
aware of. And he's here. Here he is. And
-
David David slings that stone, throws
-
that stone, and that stone sinks into
-
Goliath's forehead. And and the an
-
entire nation is liberated by a little
-
boy with a big father, by a little boy
-
with a big papa that he didn't he didn't
-
throw his sword. He didn't throw his
-
spear. He didn't use his might. He
-
didn't use his effort. He threw a
-
revelation that he was walking in. And
-
that revelation took down a giant. That
-
revelation took down a giant. And that
-
revelation will take down giants today.
-
That is the revelation that Jesus Christ
-
died on a cross to set you on. That he
-
wants you to know that you are his son,
-
that you are his daughter, and that he
-
is your good father. That you are loved
-
and it's not your fault. That you are
-
loved and there's nothing you can do
-
about it. You are doomed to the love of
-
God. that that he loves you. Not because
-
you did anything to deserve his love,
-
not because you did anything to perform
-
for his love, not not because you did
-
anything to make yourself qualified for
-
his love. He loves you because you're
-
his.
-
In fact, he showed his love for you on
-
the cross.
-
If the value of something is defined by
-
how much someone is willing to pay for
-
the thing, then we need to definitely
-
redefine our value. Because according to
-
God, you're worth more to him than he is
-
to
-
himself. If he's willing to give his
-
life, by the way, God was in Christ
-
reconciling the world to himself by not
-
imputing their trespasses to them. In
-
other words, the father and the spirit
-
were in the son on the
-
cross, not separate
-
from that God was in Christ, that God,
-
the trinity gave his life, gave their
-
life, that if that if that is a
-
definition of your
-
value, then you need to rethink your
-
value. that according to God, not my not
-
Matt Lans's opinion, but God's opinion
-
is that you are more
-
valuable than even God is to
-
himself. And he showed you that not on
-
your best
-
day, but on your worst
-
day. On the day that mankind murdered
-
its creator, the creator went down as a
-
man, defeated
-
death as a man in the flesh, rose back
-
from the dead, offered only
-
forgiveness, and a way home to the
-
father. You murder me, I make a room for
-
you in my house. You murder me, I want
-
you as close to me as possible. I want
-
you in me. I want to covenant my life to
-
you on the day that you murder
-
me. Not on your best day, but on your
-
absolute worst. In other words, God is
-
saying this. There is nothing you can
-
do, not nor power, nor principality, nor
-
anything in this earth or anything
-
beyond this earth. There is not one
-
single thing that can ever what ever
-
separate you from the love of
-
God. That you are loved and it's not
-
your fault. and that your father is with
-
you on your good and your bad
-
days. On your good and your bad days.
-
Listen to this in Matthew 16 and then
-
we're going to
-
pray. You guys all
-
right? Matthew
-
16 in verse 13. When Jesus came into the
-
region of Cesaria Philippi, he asked his
-
disciples saying, "Who do men say that
-
I, the son of man, am?" So they said,
-
"Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah,
-
others Jeremiah, one of the prophets."
-
And he said to them, "But what do you
-
sorry, but who do you say that I am?"
-
And Simon Peter answered and said, "You
-
are the Christ, the Son of the living
-
God." And Jesus said something amazing.
-
Listen to what? Listen to this. Jesus
-
answered and said to him, "Blessed are
-
you, Simon Barjonah, for flesh and blood
-
has not revealed this to you, but my
-
father who is in heaven.
-
And I also say to you that you are Peter
-
stone and on this rock. And now if he
-
was speaking in Hebrew he would have
-
said on this
-
rock I will build my church and the
-
gates of Hades shall not prevail against
-
it. And I will give you the keys of the
-
kingdom of heaven and whatever you bind
-
on earth will have been bound in heaven.
-
Whatever you loose on earth will have
-
been loosed in heaven.
-
that literally Simon Barjonah saw Jesus
-
and in the son he saw the father but
-
then in the father he saw the son but
-
then in the son he saw the father but
-
then in the father he saw the son and
-
when Jesus said who do you say that I am
-
he said you're the son of the living God
-
and Jesus said flesh and blood has not
-
revealed this to you and not even me my
-
father in heaven revealed this to you if
-
you've seen me you've seen the father
-
that my father and I we are one. And in
-
that moment, Simon Barjonah saw that he
-
beheld his glory as in a mirror and was
-
transformed into the same image to the
-
degree that Jesus Christ said, "You are
-
no longer Simon. You are now rock. You
-
are now stone and upon this rock. You
-
are now aban and upon this oven I will
-
build my church. You are now father son
-
and upon this father son revelation that
-
you've just received from the father
-
through the son I will build my church."
-
That this is the foundation of the whole
-
church. Sunship is the foundation of the
-
whole
-
church that you are meant to know the
-
father as a
-
son. And there's this thing happening
-
right now in the church where we we have
-
an opportunity to let go
-
of and to be fear.
-
There's a lot of churches in the world,
-
a lot of
-
um even church movements that have been
-
built on Saul's
-
armor. And there's no condemnation. It
-
just is what it is. But there's an
-
opportunity in this moment right now to
-
repent from Saul's armor, to take off
-
Saul's armor, and to allow room for
-
David to rise
-
up. To allow room for David to rise up.
-
And what we're going to start to see
-
happen is is a an incredible prayer and
-
worship movement that will in turn give
-
birth to a missions movement out of New
-
Zealand. We're going to start to see
-
churches embrace a depth of prayer and
-
worship as individuals and as as
-
communities to create space to dig a
-
well in the spirit to create space just
-
like David did in the wilderness to play
-
the harp and to seek the face of God.
-
We're going to start to see that and
-
that's going to turn into a missions
-
movement where giants are going to fall.
-
That there are things that have been
-
oppressing the human race that have been
-
oppressing the planet that we've almost
-
got to the point of just saying too hard
-
basket. We just don't don't even want to
-
think about that anymore. It's too hard
-
basket. I mean, there's the whole LGBTQ
-
agenda. There's all these things that
-
are just like, whoa, this is just like
-
way out there. This is way bigger than
-
us.
-
But it's time to start actually
-
realizing, hey, like God's preparing
-
some champions to step on the field for
-
those things. And they're not going to
-
defeat those things in their strength.
-
They're literally just going to walk out
-
and the father will walk out with them.
-
And the father will do the work. The
-
father will do the work. There's giants
-
in your life and the father wants to do
-
the work. God wants to God wants to do
-
some stuff in your lives in this room
-
right now where he wants to show you how
-
to take down the lion and the bear in
-
your life.
-
where he wants to raise you up as David.
-
But he wants to encourage you. I believe
-
there's a moment right now where he's
-
saying, "Let go of those things that you
-
have become accustomed to. Let go of
-
those things that you have leared to
-
trust in that
-
aren't
-
me. Maybe your money, maybe your
-
ability, maybe your external
-
qualification, maybe uh your gifting,
-
whatever it might be. And just embrace
-
this. Just embrace you're a son. Just
-
embrace you're a daughter. And just let
-
that be
-
enough. Let that be enough. People
-
always say to me like, um, I've had
-
people say to me, um, oh, you're you're
-
like you're a you're a prophet, you're
-
an apostle, you're a pastor. No, they
-
don't normally say pastor, actually.
-
They say
-
um teacher. They say all the other
-
ones. And um and I honor that. And I
-
love the five-fold. I I have a massive I
-
have a massive place for the five-fold
-
and and I and I'm like cool. Thank you
-
that for receiving me in that way.
-
That's awesome. Thank you. But if you
-
ask me, if you ask me who am
-
I, I I will never tell you I'm an
-
apostle, a prophet, a blah blah blah. I
-
I will tell you I'm a son with a good
-
father. That's the title that God gave
-
me. I am a son.
-
Only sons reveal the father. Only sons
-
reveal the father. What the world needs
-
is the world needs a father. The world
-
needs a father. The world needs to know
-
where they belong. The world is lost.
-
The world is one massive orphanage
-
looking for a
-
father. Only sons and daughters can
-
reveal the father. Only sons, there's
-
only one way back to the father through
-
the son.
-
And when you see the son and you receive
-
the father, there's something happens
-
where you come into a place of belonging
-
in him. And in that place, you now can
-
lead other people to that
-
place. Sunship is the way to the
-
father. And when you when you receive
-
that spirit of adoption that cries out,
-
aba father, when that comes out of your
-
bones, then you can say, I've found
-
something. Come with me.
-
come to this place. You don't need to
-
fit in anymore because you can belong.
-
You don't need to work for love. You can
-
work from love. You don't need to you
-
don't need to strive for significance.
-
You can live from the fact that you're
-
already
-
significant because you're a
-
son. Can we get the band
-
up? The awesome
-
band. The awesome band.
-
Well, hopefully some of that made sense
-
to you. I just want to encourage
-
you. It's a super simple
-
message. But the kingdom is super
-
simple. So, it should be a super simple
-
message. It's not
-
complicated. Saul's arm is
-
complicated. David's sling is super
-
simple.
-
super
-
simple that you just get to be a little
-
boy, little girl with a big
-
papa. This week, you're going to be
-
you're going to be confronted with
-
situations that feel beyond
-
you and that feel overwhelming. My
-
encouragement to you is when you feel
-
overwhelmed this
-
week, go and get overwhelmed by the
-
father. And when you can position
-
yourself to be a person who's
-
overwhelmed by the father, those things
-
won't overwhelm you anymore. Some of you
-
with anxiety, with sleep problems, with
-
different um things going on in your
-
mind that feel that feel impossible to
-
get through. I just want to encourage
-
you to spend some time, not just one
-
day, but to get consistent with spending
-
time with the Lord and let God teach you
-
how to be overwhelmed by him.
-
Let God put in you a heart of worship.
-
And sometimes when you're in that place
-
of worship, sometimes when you're in
-
that place of vulnerability before the
-
Lord, the pain comes
-
up. The pain from the past comes up in
-
your heart. And it can feel like, "Oh, I
-
don't know if I want to continue
-
worshiping and digging into this place
-
of freedom and God because I can feel
-
him confronting the pain and I don't
-
want to go there yet." But my
-
encouragement to you this week is that
-
just go there.
-
Just go there before the face of God and
-
trust the Lord with the pain in your
-
heart and let him heal you. Let him
-
overwhelm you in that space of pain so
-
that you become free. The Bible says
-
that you will know the truth and the
-
truth will set you free. You will know
-
the truth. You will experience the truth
-
and the truth will set you free. What's
-
the
-
truth? Well, the truth is Jesus
-
Christ. But this is the truth. The truth
-
is in essence what's really the message
-
of Jesus is this. The truth is that you
-
are
-
loved and you are not
-
alone. That's the
-
truth. Some of you in this room, you
-
feel totally alone. The truth is you're
-
not alone. That's the
-
truth. I don't want you to know about
-
the truth. I want you to know the truth.
-
I want you to have the experience of the
-
truth. And that's what the father wants
-
for you.
-
So just close your eyes right
-
now.
-
Wow. Holy
-
Spirit. Holy
-
Spirit. I just
-
had
-
this this impression of God just taking
-
weight off of
-
people. There's so many people in this
-
room and you're carrying so much
-
pressure that you don't need to
-
carry. You don't need to carry that
-
pressure. And in this room this morning,
-
there's
-
freedom. Freedom. You don't need to
-
perform. You can just be free.
-
you can just be
-
you. In a moment, I'm going to ask
-
um for you to stand up and we're going
-
to go into a song and I'm going to
-
invite you to come
-
forward. Those people that just are
-
like, man, I just want to receive a
-
revelation of the sunship. I just want
-
to receive a revelation of the father. I
-
want to I want to I want to know my
-
place of belonging. I want to know the
-
the seat at the father's table that he
-
prepared for me. I want to take my seat
-
there. I want to know where I belong. I
-
want to
-
experience my belonging in the love of
-
the father. I want to experience my
-
sunship. I don't want to just know about
-
my sunship. I want to know
-
it. I want to know it, God. I want to
-
know. I want the revelation that Simon
-
Barjonah had that turned him into
-
Peter. I want that. I'm going to ask you
-
to come forward in a moment and I just
-
want to pray for
-
you and I could tell you exactly where I
-
received this what I'm talking about
-
tonight where I received Aban where I
-
had my encounter. It was in
-
2015 on a mountain on an old par site in
-
Fare and I had an encounter with God
-
where he introduced me to my
-
sunship. And you know when you receive
-
something, it's never just for you. When
-
you receive something, it's so that you
-
can pass it on. Whatever you've
-
received, you can
-
give. And whatever has been given, you
-
can
-
receive. And there's something that I
-
received that the father gave
-
me that is being
-
given and has been is available in this
-
room and there's a moment where you can
-
actually receive
-
it. Where you can receive
-
it and that's how the kingdom
-
works. That's how the kingdom
-
works. I just want you to just think in
-
this moment right now. I just want you
-
to
-
think what are you relying
-
on? What are you trusting
-
in? What are maybe your excuses? You're
-
not I'm not
-
enoughs. What are you waiting on that's
-
not the Lord? Maybe you're waiting on
-
your finances to turn around. Maybe
-
you're waiting on a job opportunity.
-
Maybe you're waiting on someone to
-
invite you somewhere or something
-
someone to recognize something in you.
-
that hasn't been recognized
-
yet. Maybe you're feeling unseen by the
-
people around you. But I just want to
-
let you know you're seen by
-
God. You're seen by
-
God. And let him be the one that
-
qualifies you. I just want I just want
-
you to be aware of those things that
-
you're trusting in that aren't
-
him. Those things that maybe are causing
-
anxiety in your life.
-
There's this verse in uh I think it's
-
Jonah and it says this um those that
-
cling to worthless idols forsake their
-
own
-
blessing. And there's just some Saul's
-
armor is an
-
idol. And there's just a moment today
-
where you can actually choose to let go
-
of
-
that and to say, God, I'm I'm repenting.
-
I'm turning away from the things that
-
I've trusted and cling to that aren't
-
you. And I just want to be free from it
-
all. and I want you to show me who I am.
-
I want this revelation that you're my
-
father and I'm your little son, your
-
little daughter. I want to walk like I
-
want to walk in this way. I don't want
-
to walk like Saul walked. I want to walk
-
in this
-
way. I want to walk as a son. I want to
-
I don't want this to be a Sunday thing.
-
I want to walk as a son every day. I
-
want to walk as a son with my family,
-
with my wife, with my kids. I want to
-
walk as a son in the supermarket. I want
-
to walk as a son in my business. I want
-
to walk as a son when I go do my
-
building job tomorrow. I want to walk as
-
a son. I want to walk as a son in when I
-
dream. I want to walk as a son in my I
-
want to walk as a son in all of my life,
-
God. And I and I want you, father, to
-
leave me. I don't want to walk as a son
-
in my own strength. I want you to lead
-
me. And what I see happening today is I
-
see the Holy Spirit coming and just
-
taking you by the hand and he's saying,
-
"I'm going to show you your place. I'm
-
going to show you where you belong in
-
the spirit in
-
him. I'm going to show you where you
-
belong in the love of the father. And
-
that you don't have to find your own way
-
there, but literally the Holy Spirit
-
just wants to come and lead you there.
-
And so, if that's
-
you, I just want to ask you just to
-
stand up right
-
now. Some of you, some of you are are
-
going to stand up because you're like,
-
man, you know, I don't even I don't even
-
know if I if I'm a Christian. and I
-
don't even know if I'm following
-
Jesus. And for you, this is just an
-
opportunity for you to say, "Yeah, I
-
want to say yes to Jesus. I want to say
-
yes to this." That's you to stand up.
-
There's others here that you're like,
-
"Man, I've been walking with Jesus a
-
long time, but you know, I I want this
-
revelation to to go deep in me. I just
-
want you to stand up. Just stand on
-
up. Stand on up. Thank you,
-
Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.
-
Thank you,
-
Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. You know,
-
there's something about that a of in the
-
Kiwi culture there, this is not a
-
rebuke, by the way, just to preface what
-
I'm about to say. There's something in
-
that Kiwi culture that sometimes like,
-
hey, it's like an independent spirit
-
that says, "Don't tell me what to do. I
-
just want to do my own business with God
-
in my own time." You know, and that's
-
actually like a demonic spirit to
-
disagree with. by the way that sometimes
-
when there's an opportunity like this,
-
it's like you actually have to humble
-
yourself and cooperate with the
-
opportunity that there's something
-
available if you'll receive it. And so
-
just if you want to stand up, just stand
-
on up
-
now. Thank you, Jesus. Some of you with
-
that pressure on your shoulders, it's
-
time to stand up and let the pressure
-
go. If you're feeling pressure in your
-
life, if you're feeling the anxiety, if
-
you're feeling that that fact that man,
-
I'm overwhelmed by stuff that isn't God,
-
then that's evidence that you probably
-
need to receive this this
-
morning. You probably need to receive
-
this this morning. I I feel like I
-
repent from from Saul's armor about once
-
a
-
week. I have to remember my sunship at
-
least once a
-
week. Thank you, Jesus. In a moment,
-
we're going to go into a
-
song. But if you're standing up right
-
now, what I'm going to ask you to do
-
when we go into this song, I'm going to
-
ask you to come to the front and I want
-
to just lay hands on you. We're going to
-
all sing together. We're just going to
-
have some
-
time just honoring the Lord and um and I
-
want to pray for
-
you. Also, if you just are here and
-
you're just like, man, I just want to I
-
just want to receive something fresh. I
-
need some breakthrough in my life. then
-
you can just come up as well. But if
-
you're standing up in a moment, I'm
-
going to ask you to come. Um, but right
-
now I want to ask every single person to
-
stand
-
up. Every single person. Thank you,
-
Lord. Thank you, Lord. If you stood
-
up in response, I'm going to ask you
-
right now just to come to the
-
front. Just to come right up to the
-
front. Right up to the
-
front. Right up to the front. Thank you,
-
Jesus. Thank you,
-
Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. And while
-
you're up here, what I'm going to ask
-
you to do, and even if you're not up
-
here, if you're just in your seat, I'm
-
just going to ask you
-
to open your
-
heart and to
-
receive. You don't have to achieve. You
-
don't have to strive for this. You don't
-
have to try and make anything
-
happen. I just want to ask you to open
-
your heart and
-
receive. And you don't need to wait for
-
me to come lay hands on you. you can
-
just receive as we're singing. As we're
-
worshiping, as we're creating space for
-
God to move, as we're making a space for
-
God to touch us, this is not about a
-
person really laying hands on you,
-
although that will happen. This is about
-
you having a space where you can
-
actually just face to face with the
-
father. You can say, "Holy Spirit, come
-
and take my heart. Come and take my hand
-
and show me that place that Matt was
-
talking about. Show me that place of
-
belonging." This is actually a space
-
where you can just do some business with
-
your father
-
yourself. Some of you might want to just
-
uh if your legs get tired, you might
-
want to just go on your knees or you can
-
even sit down. You can make yourself
-
comfortable. It doesn't have to look
-
like
-
something. But you can just create space
-
right now to actually have some time
-
with your father and let him love on
-
you. Let him reveal himself to you in a
-
fresh way. Let him reveal himself to you
-
in a fresh
-
way. So, I'm going to pray and then
-
we're going to go into the
-
song.
-
Father, I thank you,
-
God. Right now in this room, we just
-
repent. We turn away from those things
-
that we've leared to trust in that
-
aren't you.
-
We turn away from the excuses and the
-
fears and the insecurities that the
-
enemy's tried to place on
-
us. We we just we just intentionally
-
turn away from those
-
things. And we turn to you, God, and we
-
choose in this moment right now to trust
-
your
-
love and to trust the fact that you've
-
chosen
-
us. And we choose to lean back into this
-
revelation to lean back
-
into
-
this truth of Aban God. This truth that
-
you're a good father and you've chosen
-
us to be your sons and
-
daughters. That is who we are. It's who
-
you made us to be. And there's nothing
-
we can do about that. It's not our
-
fault. It's not our doing. It's your
-
creating.
-
And so I just speak over this room that
-
spirit of
-
adoption. I speak that spirit of
-
sunship. Holy Spirit, I ask you to
-
release it in people's hearts right now.
-
Holy Spirit, I ask you to put light in
-
people's hearts. I speak to all the
-
weight of responsibility, all the weight
-
that is sought to overwhelm in a
-
negative way. And I just speak to that
-
weight and say come off in Jesus name.
-
come off in the name of
-
Jesus. I speak a lightness and a freedom
-
over you. I just I just see Jesus. He's
-
saying to you, "Follow me. Follow me.
-
Follow me and I'll show you the Father.
-
Follow me and I'll show you the Father."
-
And you're saying, "I've been following
-
you a long time." And Jesus is like,
-
"Yeah, just follow me now to the Father.
-
Follow me now to the Father. Follow me
-
now to the Father." I just see him
-
coming up to you and just taking you by
-
your hand and saying, "Follow me.
-
follow me. He wants to show you the
-
Father. God, I pray that you would show
-
you would show them your glory, God.
-
That you would show them your glory.
-
You'd show in this moment right now.
-
Someone with pain in their lower back
-
has been healed right
-
now. Thank you,
-
Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you,
-
Jesus. Okay, we're going to go into a
-
song. I'm going to put this microphone
-
down. I'm going to come around and lay
-
hands on you. I'm just going to pray for
-
you real quick. But I want you to
-
receive and take this
-
moment to just let the father show you
-
his love.
