  1. If you washed up on a lonesome shore, so

  2. crushed and tired.

  3. If you curled up on the kitchen floor,

  4. and your house is on

  5. fire.

  6. If you couldn't feel farther from

  7. redemption,

  8. you're the closest you've ever been.

  9. Rock bottom is a firm foundation.

  10. You'll see, my friend,

  11. this is not a breakdown,

  12. it's a breakthrough.

  13. This is not a midnight,

  14. it's a brand new morning when it dawns

  15. on the

  16. >> [singing]

  17. >> dark.

  18. No, this is not the moment

  19. when it all falls

  20. apart,

  21. it's a beautiful place to start.

  22. When you find yourself waking in a

  23. storm, the floodgates [singing] have

  24. opened.

  25. And you let go of

  26. spinning on the edge, when you know he's

  27. holding.

  28. Hear your prayers turn from begging God

  29. to praising him,

  30. as you're finding he's always been

  31. much closer than the air you're

  32. breathing.

  33. So, breathe in,

  34. my friend,

  35. this is not a

  36. breakdown,

  37. it's a breakthrough.

  38. This is not a midnight,

  39. it's a brand new morning

  40. when it dawns

  41. on the

  42. dark.

  43. No, this is not the moment

  44. when it all falls apart,

  45. it's a beautiful place to start.

  46. Hardest part is the letting

  47. go.

  48. Sometimes it felt impossible.

  49. There's still love in your arsenal.

  50. If there's still blood in your heart.

  51. The hardest part [music]

  52. is [singing] the letting go.

  53. Sometimes it felt impossible.

  54. There's still love in your arsenal.

  55. [singing and music]

  56. If there's still blood in your heart.

  57. The hardest part is the letting go.

  58. Sometimes it felt impossible.

  59. There's still love in your arsenal.

  60. If there's still blood in your heart.

  61. You'll

  62. see, my friend,

  63. this is not a

  64. breakdown.

  65. This is not a breakdown.

  66. It's a breakthrough.

  67. This is not a

  68. midnight,

  69. it's a brand new morning

  70. when it dawns

  71. >> [music]

  72. >> on the dark.

  73. No, no, no, no,

  74. this is not the moment

  75. when it all

  76. falls apart.

  77. It's a beautiful place to start.

  78. A beautiful

  79. place to start.

  80. We got dust on our Bibles,

  81. brand new iPhones, no wonder why we feel

  82. this way.

  83. Hey,

  84. how you been?

  85. It's been a while.

  86. I'm checking in.

  87. This the way things used to be back in

  88. 2017.

  89. And I

  90. just miss my friends.

  91. Hey,

  92. I've been fine.

  93. I've been struggling to find some peace

  94. of mind.

  95. It's the problem of our nation

  96. and in our generation, we're too busy.

  97. Can't find the time.

  98. Are we busy,

  99. or is it all

  100. a lie?

  101. We got dust

  102. on our Bibles,

  103. brand new iPhones, no wonder

  104. [singing and music]

  105. why we feel this way.

  106. We walk

  107. with our eyes closed,

  108. blind leading blind fools.

  109. I'm done with [singing] those idols

  110. and dusty Bibles.

  111. You only get

  112. this one life.

  113. I don't want to sit and watch you pass

  114. me by.

  115. I'm so done being complacent.

  116. There ain't no replacement for a life in

  117. the light [singing] of your way.

  118. Oh, I've done

  119. had enough of my

  120. way.

  121. We got

  122. dust on our Bibles,

  123. brand new iPhones,

  124. no wonder why we feel this way.

  125. We walk

  126. with our eyes closed, [singing]

  127. blind [music] leading blind fools.

  128. I'm done with those idols

  129. and dusty Bibles.

  130. This the way

  131. things used to be

  132. back in 2017.

  133. And I

  134. just miss my friends.

  135. Oh, I

  136. just miss my friends.

  137. We got dust

  138. on our Bibles,

  139. brand new iPhones,

  140. no wonder why we feel this way.

  141. We walk

  142. with our eyes closed,

  143. blind [singing] leading blind fools.

  144. I'm done with those [music] idols

  145. and

  146. dusty Bibles.

  147. Before I bring my need, [singing] I will

  148. bring my heart.

  149. Before I lift my cares, I will lift my

  150. arms.

  151. I want [singing] to know you. I want to

  152. find you in every season and every

  153. moment. Before I bring my need,

  154. [singing] I will bring my heart

  155. and

  156. seek you.

  157. I want [singing] to seek you.

  158. I want to seek you.

  159. I want [singing] to keep you.

  160. >> [music]

  161. >> I want to keep you.

  162. More than anything, I

  163. want I want

  164. Before I speak [singing] a word, let me

  165. hear your voice.

  166. And in the midst of pain, let me feel

  167. your

  168. joy.

  169. I want to know [singing] you. I want to

  170. find you in every season and every

  171. moment. Before I speak a word, [singing]

  172. I will bring my heart

  173. and seek you.

  174. I want to seek you.

  175. I want to seek [singing] you.

  176. I want to keep you.

  177. >> [singing]

  178. >> I want to keep you.

  179. More than [singing and music] anything,

  180. I

  181. want

  182. I want you.

  183. You are my [singing] treasure

  184. and my

  185. reward.

  186. Let nothing ever

  187. come

  188. >> [singing]

  189. [singing]

  190. >> So, Jonas said Matt should speak.

  191. And then Matt was like, "Oh, no,

  192. actually, Harley, you should do it." And

  193. I was like,

  194. I don't know about that. So, I went back

  195. there and I frantically wrote down what

  196. I was going to say.

  197. And if it's bad, that's not my fault.

  198. Anyway.

  199. >> [laughter]

  200. >> Um I don't have enough time, ever. I

  201. would never have enough time to tell you

  202. how much Encounter has meant to me.

  203. Um and in the next song we're going to

  204. sing, it says I'd be lost if it was not

  205. for you. And I know that the song is

  206. referring to God, but I feel like it

  207. means that I'd be lost without my group,

  208. and the people I sing with, and the

  209. band, and the people that come out and

  210. support me every time, without fail.

  211. And I'd literally be lost if it weren't

  212. for them.

  213. And God brought me to Encounter, or

  214. brought Encounter to me, because he knew

  215. that I would be lost without them.

  216. I look forward to our weekly Monday

  217. practices, and nothing gives me more joy

  218. than getting to share what I love with

  219. all of these insanely talented people.

  220. And

  221. all of this is to say that I am so

  222. grateful for all that God has done for

  223. me in the form of Encounter, and I

  224. really believe that I'd be lost without

  225. all of you.

  226. And thank you for everything.

  227. >> [singing]

  228. [singing and music]

  229. [singing]

  230. >> All right, are we good? I'm not too

  231. loud? Miracle. That never happens.

  232. So, I find it really funny that he opens

  233. me up like that, cuz my original plan

  234. when I walked up was about to be like,

  235. they sing so good, I've got a lot of

  236. pressure on me.

  237. And then he went and gave me another

  238. speech to put more pressure on me.

  239. So, I hope I bring it, but I think I've

  240. got something for you guys here. So,

  241. I, when he texted me, was told that his

  242. kind of theme was like, we want to focus

  243. on graduation, it's kind of a graduation

  244. thing, with an extra theme of fresh

  245. start. And so, I'm like, there's a

  246. couple things I could think of, and I'm

  247. sitting there, and I'm like, graduation.

  248. What What makes it so special

  249. that like I come up and talk about this

  250. with this time, and what have I learned

  251. from this specific thing?

  252. And so, anyone who's currently in high

  253. school will know that how they've

  254. implemented technology into preparing

  255. you for graduation is they give you a

  256. bunch of personality tests. And they're

  257. like, "Hey,

  258. do you like to fix cabinets?

  259. Maybe

  260. you could be a carpenter.

  261. Maybe.

  262. And it's all about like, what do you

  263. like to do?

  264. And what can you do with what you like

  265. to do? So, I'm sitting here, I'm like,

  266. okay, maybe I could talk about gifts,

  267. right? I mean, we all know we all have

  268. gifts from God, and so, my very first

  269. starting point was, okay, let's go to

  270. Google and ask Google about some Bible

  271. verses about gifts. Get me somewhere to

  272. start. And it led me to Romans chapter

    Romans 12 chapter mention

  273. 12. And I was like, okay, let me Let me

  274. read through that. And I realized that

  275. there's a verse that's been following me

  276. around for a really long time. And

  277. that's Romans chapter 12 verse two. Do

    Romans 12 chapter mention

  278. not conform to the pattern of this

  279. world, but be transformed by the

  280. renewing of your mind.

  281. And I found it very interesting because

  282. I've done two Sunday school studies on

  283. this verse, and it was the entire theme

  284. verse for one of my mission trips. And

  285. that's been following me through my

  286. whole high school experience. So,

  287. finding that was like, okay, I really

  288. got to look into chapter 12 here. And

  289. then I found everything I was looking

  290. for for tonight in that chapter.

  291. Every single thing.

  292. Thank you, God. Made it real easy for

  293. me.

  294. So,

  295. gifts, right? We want to talk about

  296. gifts. What is a gift from God?

  297. Well,

  298. how I've tried to define that

  299. is something that you are blessed with

  300. that you can bless others with.

  301. So,

  302. when I think of examples of gifts, I

  303. think of talents. I think of something

  304. that makes you stand out, right? So, for

  305. me, it's me talking.

  306. I started talking, and I never stopped.

  307. I can talk about talking like I'm doing

  308. right now.

  309. So, like that's a gift, right? And I'm

  310. I'm like, that's too obvious. Like that

  311. that makes it too easy. So, let me think

  312. harder, right? What's an example of a

  313. gift?

  314. And I kind of found it

  315. when I was going through um

  316. the verses of Whoop, got to find it.

  317. Ah, chapter 12 verse six.

  318. We have different gifts according to the

  319. grace given to each of us. If your gift

  320. is prophesying or prophesying, then

  321. prophesy in accordance with your faith.

  322. If it is serving, then serve. If your

  323. gift is teaching, then teach. If it is

  324. to encourage, then give encouragement.

  325. If it is giving, then give generously.

  326. If it is to lead, do it diligently. If

  327. it is showing mercy, do it cheerfully.

  328. And there's a lot of things listed on

  329. that list that kind of go with like my

  330. talking gift. Like teaching, leading,

  331. those are like skills we see very

  332. physically. But I really liked when it

  333. talked about giving and encouragement.

  334. Those are gifts that we don't think of

  335. as much. And it it brought to mind a

  336. friend of mine who's incredibly quiet.

  337. And I I mean like I knew her for like

  338. two years and never heard her talk once.

  339. But every time I spoke to her,

  340. she

  341. listened so well, and she smiled, and

  342. she received everything I said, and

  343. always could remember it.

  344. And I thought to myself, that's her

  345. gift.

  346. She can take something in and

  347. internalize that and make my day with

  348. it. And so, I kind of wanted to reframe

  349. what we think about with gifts, and this

  350. brought me down to something you are

  351. blessed with that you can bless others

  352. with.

  353. Something you can do

  354. that makes someone's day. So, I kind of

  355. wanted to do a little bit of involvement

  356. with you guys.

  357. Does anyone have something that kind of

  358. comes to mind like we're thinking of a

  359. gift, right? Just like an example,

  360. something you've encountered that's made

  361. your day that someone else is capable

  362. of.

  363. That.

  364. Yeah.

  365. Absolutely, yes. I love that. That's I

  366. mean, that's like what you think, right?

  367. A gift, you can do something for someone

  368. else. And that that I think is a great

  369. example. And so, I want you to kind of

  370. stew on that when you're interacting

  371. with people that you know. Like, I want

  372. you to think about it. What what gift am

  373. I experiencing right now? So, that's a

  374. gift, right?

  375. But why is it important we use that?

  376. Like, okay, yes, sure. I can talk.

  377. Why should I?

  378. So, I kind of wanted to dive into that.

  379. And spoiler alert, that's also in Romans

    Romans 12 chapter mention

  380. chapter 12.

  381. So,

  382. we are called as Christians to share

  383. God's love, right? Like, we are supposed

  384. to share his word. We are supposed to

  385. share that. Well, if we think of it as a

  386. blessing given to us, we were given that

  387. blessing from him.

  388. He loved us enough to give us our gifts.

  389. That's why we need to share that love,

  390. right? So, I kind of when I'm looking

  391. through where I I kind of pulled that

  392. from was chapter 12 again, verse three.

  393. For the grace given by me, I say to

  394. every one of you, do not think of

  395. yourself more highly than you ought, but

  396. think of yourself with sober judgment in

  397. accordance with the faith God has

  398. distributed to each of you.

  399. We aren't using our gifts for us.

  400. We're using our gifts for him. They

  401. aren't to feed your ego. They aren't to

  402. make you popular.

  403. They're to serve

  404. So,

  405. we absolutely need to use that.

  406. If you have something

  407. that you are blessed with,

  408. you can't just keep it in.

  409. I know it's so easy to,

  410. but we're called to go out and use it.

  411. So, that's really where I started like

  412. I'm going further now, right? We're Now

  413. we're we're not just simple, what's your

  414. talent?

  415. We're like actually tying this in now.

  416. Like, this is what the Bible's calling

  417. us for.

  418. And so,

  419. that felt pretty obvious to me. We we

  420. got the why,

  421. but

  422. how?

  423. It's daunting.

  424. It's difficult.

  425. And so, I kept reading further.

  426. And it was all right there. So, um I'm

  427. going to have to give you some homework

  428. because I can't go through all of it,

  429. but verses nine through 21 is just a

  430. list. And I'm going to highlight my

  431. favorite points from it. Um

  432. so, for um

  433. Whoop.

  434. My sticky note fell. In case you're

  435. curious,

  436. all my notes are sticky notes.

  437. All of my notes are on sticky notes.

  438. But for verse two, it highlights this is

  439. the one that drew me in, do not conform

  440. to the pattern of this world.

  441. And if that's what's drawing me in, I

  442. mean, I had to think on it further.

  443. We can't use our gifts

  444. if we're focused on what Nelly next door

  445. is going to say.

  446. Right?

  447. We aren't going to be able to use our

  448. gifts if we want to look like the person

  449. we saw on social media.

  450. Your gift doesn't stand out if you don't

  451. stand out. So, I think that's something

  452. that really helps bring some security

  453. there. Like, okay, but I I don't want to

  454. look weird.

  455. You do. That's the point. That's the

  456. whole point.

  457. So, that's kind of one thing. Like,

  458. okay, how do we use our gifts?

  459. Let yourself stand out.

  460. What else is there? We've got

  461. to love, right? I mean, that's a perfect

  462. example that Jesus showed us is love.

  463. The verse that kind of stood out for me

  464. on that one was

  465. 10. Sorry. My pencil went off on that

  466. one.

  467. It says, be devoted to one another in

  468. love. Honor one another above

  469. yourselves.

  470. If you

  471. love someone first, it opens the door

  472. for you. Right?

  473. You see someone,

  474. and you care for them. You want to make

  475. them smile. You want to bless them. Oh,

  476. use your gift, right? A blessing you can

  477. use to bless others. You love someone,

  478. you can use your gift on them. So,

  479. that's a great starting point. And then,

  480. we have

  481. really the one that

  482. hit me a little hard, which was the be

  483. optimistic.

  484. It's so hard

  485. to see

  486. the joy, but it says right here on

  487. Whoop.

  488. 12

  489. verse 12, it says,

  490. share with the Oh, that's 13. Never

  491. mind, it doesn't say that.

  492. Be joyful in hope, patient in

  493. affliction, faithful in prayer. And so,

  494. you have to be joyful. You have to have

  495. hope. There's There's that element of

  496. it, right? It's really hard to use your

  497. gift if you immediately assume you're

  498. going to fail.

  499. And that's

  500. a really big daunting hurdle. Like my

  501. first two, I mean, you love others, you

  502. know, you you want to stand out, but

  503. you have to be optimistic. And that one

  504. I think is where a lot of us fall short.

  505. I think we doubt ourselves. And so, I I

  506. really wanted to dive into that further

  507. because that's where I found my

  508. strongest connection here. And really,

  509. if you flip the page from my Romans

    Romans 12 chapter mention

  510. chapter 12, you find in chapter 15:13,

  511. may the God of hope fill you with all

  512. joy and peace as you trust in him, so

  513. that you may overflow with hope by the

  514. power of the Holy Spirit.

  515. Answers right there on the other page.

  516. The Holy Spirit's how you stay

  517. optimistic.

  518. And so, I think

  519. if my whole goal is to graduate, go on

  520. with my life, and do something

  521. with my gifts,

  522. I need him.

  523. And every one of us,

  524. I think has felt ourselves in a place

  525. where we want to do something,

  526. but we need him.

  527. And so, I think

  528. that that's where your fresh start is.

  529. Is when you start putting your faith in

  530. him,

  531. he will bless you with your gifts.

  532. He will give you opportunities to use

  533. it.

  534. He will call you to use it.

  535. And he will give you the hope to use it.

  536. So, I really wanted to take this moment.

  537. If you've never

  538. felt that hope, if you've never had a

  539. connection with him where he fills you

  540. with hope,

  541. we can do that. We can start that

  542. absolutely tonight. And all you have to

  543. do is bow your head

  544. and say,

  545. "God,

  546. I am a sinner. I fall short.

  547. I am not perfect. I have so many

  548. elements of me that I am not using.

  549. But,

  550. I know I need you. You are my savior.

  551. You are the one who can start my journey

  552. with my gift.

  553. And I want to go on that journey. I want

  554. to use the gifts that you've given me. I

  555. want to use them for you.

  556. And if that's the first time you've ever

  557. said that,

  558. that's an incredible thing that you just

  559. did.

  560. That's an incredible opportunity. That

  561. is an open door.

  562. And every single person on this stage,

  563. and many other people out here, can walk

  564. through that door with you.

  565. If that's an opening point for you,

  566. reach out. You are home.

  567. We can do so much through God, right? We

  568. can use our gifts, and we can do it

  569. together. So, if you want to start

  570. today, if today is your fresh start,

  571. reach out.

  572. So,

  573. unlike the 30 million hours that Jonah

  574. predicted I'd be talking, I am done.

  575. So, before I leave the stage, I just

  576. want to do one more prayer with you

  577. guys.

  578. God,

  579. thank you

  580. so much for everything you've blessed us

  581. with.

  582. Thank you for giving us opportunities to

  583. share those blessings.

  584. Thank you for giving us instructions on

  585. how and why we should be sharing those

  586. blessings. Thank you for bringing these

  587. people in this room who get an

  588. opportunity to be surrounded by people

  589. who encourage them to use their gifts.

  590. Thank you for everything you've done

  591. with us. This is a two-way partnership.

  592. We can only be successful through what

  593. you do for us. And I thank you for being

  594. there to be my business partner.

  595. Amen.

  596. I told Madison if she ever wants to go

  597. into ministry, she has my full support.

  598. Uh

  599. to hear to hear a kid speak that

  600. passionately about Jesus, and speak that

  601. passionately about

  602. everybody here, and how

  603. we can

  604. reach out to to help other people, just

  605. amazing thing.

  606. So, if y'all would, uh stand together

  607. and let's worship.

  608. Wandering into the night,

  609. wanting a place to hide

  610. this weary soul.

  611. This bag of bones.

  612. I tried with all my might.

  613. I just can't win the fight.

  614. I'm slowly drifting.

  615. A bag of bones.

  616. Just when I ran out of road,

  617. I met a man

  618. I didn't know.

  619. And he told me that I

  620. was not alone.

  621. He picked me

  622. He turned me around.

  623. He placed my feet on solid ground.

  624. I thank the master.

  625. I thank the savior.

  626. Because he healed my heart.

  627. He changed my name.

  628. Forever free,

  629. I am not the same. I thank the master.

  630. I thank the savior.

  631. I thank God.

  632. I cannot deny what I've seen.

  633. Got no choice but to believe. My doubts

  634. are burning.

  635. The ashes in the wind.

  636. So long, my old friend. Bye-bye-bye.

  637. Burning in the bitterness. You can just

  638. keep them

  639. You ain't welcome here.

  640. Not till I walk the streets of gold.

  641. I'll sing of how

  642. you saved my soul.

  643. Wayward soul

  644. has found

  645. its way back home.

  646. He picked me up.

  647. He turned me around.

  648. And placed my feet on solid ground. I

  649. thank the master.

  650. I thank the savior.

  651. Because he healed my heart.

  652. He changed my name.

  653. Forever free,

  654. I am not the same.

  655. I thank the master.

  656. I thank the savior.

  657. I thank God.

  658. Hell lost another one. I am free.

  659. I am free.

  660. Hell lost another one.

  661. I am free.

  662. Hell lost another one.

  663. I am free.

  664. Hell lost another one.

  665. I am free.

  666. He picked me up.

  667. He turned me around.

  668. And placed my feet on solid ground.

  669. I thank the master.

  670. I thank the savior.

  671. Because he healed my heart.

  672. He changed my name.

  673. Forever free,

  674. I am not the same.

  675. I thank the master.

  676. I thank the savior.

  677. I thank God. Get up out of that

  678. grave.

  679. Get up. Get up. Get up.

  680. Get up out of that grave.

  681. Get up. Get up.

  682. Get up out of that grave.

  683. Get up. Get up. Get up.

  684. Get up out of that grave.

  685. For I spoke a word,

  686. you were singing over me.

  687. You have been [singing] so, so good

  688. to me.

  689. Before I took a breath,

  690. you breathed your

  691. life in me.

  692. You have been so, so kind to me.

  693. Oh, the

  694. overwhelming, never-ending,

  695. reckless love of God.

  696. Oh, it chases me down, fights

  697. [singing and music]

  698. till I die,

  699. leaves the 99.

  700. I couldn't earn it.

  701. I don't [singing] deserve it. Still, you

  702. give yourself away.

  703. Oh, the overwhelming,

  704. never-ending,

  705. reckless love

  706. of God.

  707. >> When I was [singing] your foe,

  708. still you loved

  709. for me.

  710. You have been so, so [singing] good

  711. to me.

  712. When I felt no worth,

  713. you paid it all for me.

  714. You have been [singing] so, [music] so

  715. kind

  716. to me.

  717. Oh, [singing] the overwhelming,

  718. never

  719. ending, reckless love of God.

  720. Oh,

  721. it chases

  722. me down,

  723. >> [singing]

  724. >> fights till I'm

  725. found, leaves the 99. [singing]

  726. I couldn't earn it,

  727. I don't [music] deserve it,

  728. still you give yourself

  729. [music and singing] away.

  730. Oh, the overwhelming,

  731. [singing] never

  732. ending, reckless love

  733. of God.

  734. Yeah.

  735. No shadow you won't light up,

  736. mountain you won't climb up,

  737. coming after me.

  738. No wall you won't [singing] kick down,

  739. lie you won't tear down, coming after

  740. me.

  741. No shadow you won't [singing] light up,

  742. mountain you won't climb up,

  743. coming after me.

  744. No wall you won't kick down,

  745. lie you won't tear down,

  746. coming after me.

  747. Oh, the

  748. overwhelming,

  749. never [singing]

  750. ending, reckless love

  751. of God.

  752. Oh, it chases me down, fights till I'm

  753. >> [singing]

  754. >> found, leaves the 99.

  755. I couldn't earn

  756. it,

  757. I don't deserve it, still you give

  758. yourself away.

  759. Oh, the overwhelming,

  760. [singing] never

  761. ending, reckless

  762. love of God.

  763. Oh, the

  764. overwhelming,

  765. never

  766. ending, reckless love of God.

  767. Oh, it chases me down, fights till I'm

  768. found, leaves the 99.

  769. I couldn't earn

  770. it, I don't deserve it, still you give

  771. yourself away.

  772. Oh, the overwhelming,

  773. never

  774. ending, reckless love

  775. of God.

  776. >> [singing]

  777. [singing]

  778. [music]

  779. [singing]

  780. >> Here we go. She was so nervous to do

  781. that.

  782. And uh

  783. another round of applause for Ziana.

  784. I know it's coming way out of your

  785. comfort zone. If y'all don't know, Z

  786. normally is in the back doing AV stuff,

  787. so

  788. we kind of poked and prodded her until

  789. she was like, "Fine, I'll sing."

  790. So,

  791. um

  792. Lynn,

  793. come on up here.

  794. You've been influential in uh their

  795. development, too, so

  796. if y'all don't know, Lynn is our uh

  797. worship director, and she is the one who

  798. has helped mold

  799. these people into the musicians and the

  800. vocalists that they are today.

  801. Um

  802. so I would like to say thank you to the

  803. seniors, to Z, and to Madison, and

  804. Harley for uh

  805. what y'all have done and what you've

  806. meant for me. It's amazing. I came here

  807. in 2018 and everybody was like this that

  808. big, you know, and just uh to watch them

  809. grow spiritually to people that they are

  810. now, it's incredible. And uh just to

  811. just to be a part of that journey has

  812. been awesome for me, especially.

  813. Um

  814. we have a lot of seniors that are around

  815. uh

  816. be graduating this year and I know that

  817. this is a scary time. Uh I remember when

  818. I was a senior back in like 2003.

  819. Um so

  820. >> [laughter]

  821. >> All right, you're going. Go.

  822. Yeah.

  823. >> [laughter]

  824. >> But I want to thank y'all and if you

  825. would, where are you going to school?

  826. East Carolina.

  827. And

  828. Florida State.

  829. Here we go.

  830. Leanne, you got you want to say

  831. anything? I'm not I'm putting her on the

  832. spot. I did not tell her that she was

  833. coming up here, so.

  834. Yes.

  835. Thank you.

  836. All right, Leanne, we're getting ready

  837. to sing one of the songs that we we have

  838. tried to do forever.

  839. You you want

  840. You Would you like to help us?

  841. >> [laughter]

  842. >> All right, y'all. You want to do one

  843. more?

  844. All right, you got it in you?

  845. Yeah, y'all, this is just for you uh

  846. just for you a bit and now I can't talk.

  847. Tongue tied. That works.

  848. That means y'all sing. All right.

  849. We've been trying to do this song

  850. forever

  851. and it kind of fell together this time

  852. and I think it's only fitting

  853. their last encounter

  854. we get to do it.

  855. Y'all sing with us.

  856. God of Jacob

  857. great I am

  858. king of angels

  859. son of man

  860. voice of many waters

  861. song of heaven's throne

  862. louder than the thunder

  863. make your glory known

  864. Hail, hail, lion of Judah

  865. let the

  866. lion roar

  867. Hail, hail, lion of [singing] Judah

  868. let the

  869. lion roar

  870. Hail, hail, lion of

  871. Judah

  872. let the

  873. lion roar

  874. Hail, hail, lion of Judah

  875. let the

  876. lion roar

  877. >> [singing]

  878. >> roar

  879. roar

  880. Light of Zion

  881. prophets spoke

  882. our Messiah [singing and music]

  883. flesh and bone

  884. You alone [singing] are worthy

  885. to open up the scroll

  886. Like a lamb you suffered

  887. but the

  888. lion rose

  889. >> [screaming]

  890. >> Hail, hail, lion of Judah

  891. [music and singing]

  892. let the

  893. lion roar

  894. Hail, hail, lion [music and singing] of

  895. Judah

  896. let the

  897. lion roar

  898. >> [screaming]

  899. >> Hail, hail, lion of Judah

  900. >> [music and singing]

  901. >> let the

  902. lion roar

  903. Hail, hail, lion [music and singing] of

  904. Judah

  905. let the

  906. lion roar

  907. >> [screaming]

  908. >> roar

  909. roar

  910. >> [screaming]

  911. >> roar

  912. Prepare the way

  913. prepare the way of the

  914. Lord, prepare the way

  915. prepare the way of the Lord, prepare the

  916. way

  917. prepare the way of the

  918. Lord, prepare the way

  919. prepare the way of the

  920. Lord, every valley

  921. be raised up, every

  922. mountain

  923. be made low,

  924. every valley be raised up, every

  925. mountain

  926. be made low, every

  927. valley be raised up, every

  928. mountain

  929. be made low, every

  930. valley be raised up, every

  931. mountain

  932. be made low,

  933. roar

  934. >> [screaming]

  935. >> roar

  936. roar

  937. >> [screaming]

  938. [singing]

  939. >> Hail, hail, lion of Judah

  940. let the

  941. lion roar

  942. Hail, hail, lion of Judah

  943. let the

  944. lion roar

  945. Hail, hail, lion [music] of Judah

  946. let the

  947. lion roar

  948. Hail, hail, lion of Judah

  949. [music and singing]

  950. let the

  951. lion roar

  952. Awesome. Well, y'all

  953. again, thank y'all for coming out

  954. tonight. That was a fun song.

  955. We're going to do that again at some

  956. point. Um

  957. y'all, before we we leave tonight, let's

  958. uh bow our heads and just have a word of

  959. prayer, thanking God for what he's done

  960. tonight.

  961. Uh Father

  962. what an awesome time.

  963. God what an awesome family that we have

  964. here

  965. and God, what an awesome opportunity we

  966. have had

  967. and we still have

  968. to guide

  969. these young folks

  970. on their journey

  971. and and to show them

  972. how to live, God, not just to tell them

  973. how to live, but to show them how to

  974. live. God, thank you for the

  975. responsibility

  976. that you have given this village

  977. to be who we're supposed to be with you.

  978. Cuz God, when we have the relationship

  979. with you, it spills over into our

  980. everyday life.

  981. And when that spills over into our

  982. everyday life

  983. then these kids get to see that, God.

  984. They get to to pattern their life after

  985. what you have done for us.

  986. And what we

  987. we can do through you.

  988. God, again, I thank you for this place.

  989. I thank you for these people. God, I

  990. thank you for this service. It has meant

  991. so much to me. I know it means so much

  992. to so many people. And I thank you that

  993. you have given us this opportunity and

  994. this responsibility

  995. to be

  996. who we are through you.

  997. Father, we love you and we thank you. In

  998. Christ's name I pray. Amen.
