  1. So again, there's your scriptures today.

  2. Look at Deuteronomy going back there twice, so don't lose it whenever you you put it in there.

  3. Some of you, some of you have this from last week, or you have your notes from last week, or if you took notes or you didn't take notes, you you have, but this is the same.

  4. You just didn't see it on screen last week.

  5. You just seen it, or you just heard it last week.

  6. So God gives victory one step at a time.

  7. Amen.

  8. Let's try that one more time because I I want you to I want you to truly understand that God gives victory to start with, okay?

  9. And then he gives it one step at a time.

  10. We want it, we want to get victory, a big leap at a time.

  11. But he says one step at a time.

  12. You can't handle it anymore.

  13. So God gives victory one step at a time.

  14. Amen?

  15. Amen.

  16. Now we're on the same page.

  17. Okay.

  18. So so amen says so be it.

  19. So you've come into agreement to so be it.

  20. And that's what I want to share with you today.

  21. I want to share with you as we begin to look at these scriptures, and God begins to unveil them as well as He did last Sunday, and I'm praying for that.

  22. I'm praying that the words that you hear today will be words that you that that he will penetrate into your heart.

  23. Um, some of you have already put your put put some um walls up, but I come against every wall that's trying to be placed in place right now.

  24. I come against it right now in the name of Jesus, and I I'm I demand it just like the walls of Jericho fell, I demand them to fall in the name of Jesus right now, because I praise you, Lord God, because you've got the ability to have it to fall right now, right now in this place.

  25. May them walls fall right now because the enemy will not be able to stop this message from penetrating the hearts that need to penetrate today.

  26. Because there's somebody today needs to know that they know that they're just one step away from victory, one step away from victory, one step away from victory.

  27. That's where you're at.

  28. You're at one step away from victory.

  29. Are you ready to take the step today?

  30. Are you ready to take the step today?

  31. You've been standing there long enough, you've been looking long enough, you've been held long enough, you've been bondaged long enough, today's the day, today's the day, today's the day.

  32. Let's go, let's take a step.

  33. Amen.

  34. Amen.

  35. So let's look at what we have to say to see what God has to say in his word as we look at Deuteronomy 6 through 9 in chapter 7.

  36. It says, For you are a holy people to the Lord.

  37. Amen.

  38. So will you just stop for a minute and say, I'm a holy person to God.

  39. So again, you got to get that in your call, you've got to get that in your understanding that this is how it all begins.

  40. This is how you get victory.

  41. You got to know who you are, and God, you got to know what he's for.

  42. And you got to know that he specially chose you out of, he picked you out of.

  43. You're gonna see that in just a minute as I begin to share more.

  44. But you got to see that you see that there's benefits.

  45. I shared that on Tuesday.

  46. There's a psalm, and I forget what psalm is, but it says, forget not my benefits.

  47. We so quickly forget because wow, we forget the last thing he just done for us.

  48. And we're reasonable leaves that he wants us to remember what he done for us because when we get ready to take that next step, we know that he's gonna help us in the next step because he helped us back there.

  49. But the enemy wants to close your eyes up, he wants to put the scales on your eyes where you cannot see.

  50. You cannot go.

  51. That's why I'm telling you, there's an Ananias that's gonna go and lay hands on somebody, and the scales are gonna fall off, and they're gonna walk in victory.

  52. Because it changed Saul from a killer to a to a man who seeked to save.

  53. Amen.

  54. Turn his world upside down, and that's what Jesus means to do for you today.

  55. Today, salvation is today, deliverance is today, freedom is today, hope is today, peace is today, joy is today.

  56. Get it today, and quit looking for it down the road.

  57. It's right there before you.

  58. He just reminded me of something we've done last Sunday, and I hope and pray that we get to do that again.

  59. So, again, let me go on.

  60. So it says, You're holy people to the Lord your God.

  61. The Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for himself.

  62. And look what he says about you you are a special treasure above all.

  63. Quit looking at yourself from a fleshy standpoint and look at yourself from a spiritual standpoint, because you are a precious treasure to God Almighty, and he means to use you because why?

  64. Because he loves to place his treasures out there, because why?

  65. Because you are out there for somebody else.

  66. They're gonna see you shine like you never shined before.

  67. Because why?

  68. Because you're gonna quit looking at yourself and start looking at what he made you to be.

  69. Look what you look like on the inside, and the inside glows to make the outside.

  70. But if you still see yourself as unchosen, you still see yourself as how you used to be, guess what?

  71. You can't walk in victory.

  72. Because you'll never see yourself taking one step.

  73. He goes on and says this.

  74. He said, Above all people on the face of the earth, do you not know that you've been, did you, do you not know that you've been handpicked?

  75. I'm telling you this.

  76. If if we were to, if folks could just get a hold of what it looks like to be chose by God, we could not, we'd have to have nine services a Sunday to hold all the people.

  77. But do you realize that that all the churches that are around, that they still are not filling up.

  78. There's still more folks unsaved than ever have been saved.

  79. But yet they still believe that they're headed to heaven and they're splitting hell wide open.

  80. That's why I share with you, whenever you understand who you are, that you understand that God personally chose you.

  81. You didn't choose him.

  82. Get off your high horse, get off your prideful ride that you're riding on if you think you chose God.

  83. And you sit back down and look at it.

  84. God chose you.

  85. And you better thank him every single day when you wake up when you got breath in your mouth.

  86. Thank you, Lord God, that you chose me.

  87. Thank you that I'm a special person.

  88. Thank you that I've been handpicked.

  89. Thank you, thank you, thank you that I have your benefits, thank you that I have your promises, because nobody else does.

  90. But we look around and we we we look around and we start comparing ourselves to lost folks, and you're seeing them blessed, and you're seeing them blessed for and only for a season.

  91. Because why?

  92. Because the enemy can try to do that, he'll maneuver that around.

  93. Let me share this with you.

  94. I wasn't sure if he's gonna let me share it with you, but I'll share it with you.

  95. So Donald Trump died.

  96. Don't hold it, he didn't, but but he died and and and he went to heaven.

  97. So he got up there and and uh, and and again, this is just a this is just a metaphor.

  98. It ain't the way it goes.

  99. But anyhow, he got up there and um got before uh what's he called?

  100. Peter.

  101. He got before Peter and and he says, so um, why you what are you here for?

  102. I'm here to go to heaven.

  103. He said, Well, before you do that, uh, first off, we're gonna send you to hell first.

  104. And then we're gonna let you spend a little time in hell, then we're gonna bring you up here and spend a little time in heaven and see which one you really like.

  105. So I'm thinking, well, that's a no-brainer.

  106. So anyhow, he said, okay, whatever.

  107. So downhell he goes.

  108. He jumps out, you know.

  109. It's a beautiful golf course.

  110. I mean, he's looking out there and all his buddies are out there playing golf.

  111. He said, Wow, now this is all right.

  112. I I didn't I wasn't expecting this.

  113. So he goes out there and he plays golf for a couple days, you know, and he's out there and everything, and and uh next thing you know, he said, Okay, it's time to go back to heaven.

  114. All right.

  115. So he goes back to heaven, he gets up to heaven, he's up there in heaven, and and um all of a sudden he gets out and and he sees these angels there floating around, and this is going around, that going around, and like I said, they're just making this up.

  116. And so Peter comes to him after he'd been there a few days and says, Well, what do you think?

  117. He said, Well, I tell you what, uh, I I had a misconception.

  118. I kind of like hell.

  119. Okay, if that's where you want to go, well, yeah, I mean, it looked good to me.

  120. Okay, back down he goes.

  121. This time they open the doors, he steps out, he's looking, trying to figure out whoa, what's going on?

  122. It's black, hot, nasty, stinks, hears screaming and hollering.

  123. He's trying to figure out what happened, what happened, what happened, where I I when I I came down here yesterday, it was a pretty golf course, and all my friends are out here playing golf.

  124. Oh yeah, we were doing a promotion yesterday.

  125. So be careful.

  126. Somebody try to talk to you and they're going to hell and it looks good.

  127. It ain't.

  128. Amen.

  129. So again, understanding that that you're a chosen people.

  130. Then it goes on and says this the Lord did not set his love on you, nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people.

  131. Like I told you.

  132. Whenever you look at the the the realm of who's who has actually been born again, truly been born again, it's a very small fraction compared to the amount of people that's in the world.

  133. All right, so he didn't he didn't reach out and get you because of because you were great in number.

  134. He can he reached out and got you because why?

  135. Because the love that he has for you.

  136. And you chose, he chose, and you accepted the invitation.

  137. Now, some still trying to accept that.

  138. Then he goes on and says this.

  139. For you were the least of all the people.

  140. Do you see yourself as least of all the people from a worldly standpoint, but the greatest of all the people from a spiritual standpoint?

  141. Amen.

  142. See, we gotta look it that way because if you don't see it that way, guess what you'll see?

  143. You'll see yourself as prideful, you'll see yourself as arrogant, you'll see yourself as that, you'll see yourself as greater than they.

  144. You'll start seeing yourself as holier than thou.

  145. And then guess what?

  146. You can not witness to nobody because nobody wants to get around your stink, because it stinks whenever you act like that.

  147. And there's church doing is doing it all the time.

  148. You come in and sit down somewhere, and you're sitting in somebody's seat, and they get mad and tell you to get up and move.

  149. That's church stink.

  150. That's stench.

  151. That's arrogance, that's nothing but arrogance.

  152. I'll say it for what it is.

  153. Then he goes on and says this.

  154. But because the Lord loves you, and because he would keep the oath which he swore to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you.

  155. Now listen to this right here.

  156. This next part is so powerful.

  157. He redeemed you now.

  158. What does that mean?

  159. He paid the price for you.

  160. You owed a debt you cannot pay.

  161. And Jesus paid the debt for you.

  162. He redeemed it.

  163. Because why?

  164. Because there's separation between you and the Father without Jesus.

  165. But Jesus came to redeem that, He came to rescue us, He came to redeem us.

  166. How?

  167. So why?

  168. So that we can have a right standing with God.

  169. And when we accept that, then guess what we do?

  170. We become a special person.

  171. And listen to what He done here.

  172. And this is this right here, I have to drive home.

  173. I had to drive it home last Sunday because I want you to get a hold of this right here, because if you don't get a hold of anything else, get a hold of what I'm about to share with you now.

  174. He said, I redeemed you from the house of bondage.

  175. Do you know that you know before you came to Jesus you were in the house of bondage?

  176. Oh, three of us were.

  177. I guess everybody else was goody good choo-choos, I guess.

  178. Had no sin, didn't do nothing wrong, was not in bondage whatsoever.

  179. Amen.

  180. He redeemed you from the house of bondage, he cut you loose from your addiction, he cuts you loose from your name ho.

  181. He cuts you loose from what you are about, he cuts you loose, he sets you free, he turned you about, he got you out of the mum-hoe, he got you out of the mirror, he got you out of the hump pen, he got you out of the prodigal, he got you about, he got you a mouth, he got you and I'm a hidden you, he got you about, he got you and about, he got you and about Jesus redeemed you from the house of bondage.

  182. And the quicker you come to a place and you realize that you are in a house of bondage, the quicker you can accept his redemption planned for you.

  183. But if you still deny you're everywhere in the house of bondage, you'll never come out of it because you'll never see yourself in it.

  184. That's what's wrong with people today.

  185. We don't want to tell them it's sin, it's sin, and it's bondage, bondage, and the enemy's God is in it.

  186. We don't want to tell people that.

  187. We want to just tell them they can do whatever they want to do.

  188. Don't worry about it.

  189. And then they see no need for somebody to redeem them.

  190. They see no need for Jesus to redeem them.

  191. Because why?

  192. Because God is love.

  193. And he's holy and he's just, and he didn't send his son to redeem you from the house of bondage, and then just let some others just step in, still in the house of bondage.

  194. He meant for everybody now, everybody has a chance to get out of the house of bondage, but they have to choose.

  195. They have to choose the Redeemer, the Redeemer, Jesus, He's a Redeemer, He gets you out of the house of bondage.

  196. Amen.

  197. So it goes on.

  198. And it says this not only do you come out of the house of bondage, but you come out from the hand of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt.

  199. What does that mean?

  200. Coming out of the hand of the devil, the king of this world.

  201. That's what he's trying to tell us.

  202. So I share with you, if you've got an anger issue, you're still in bondage.

  203. If you've got bitterness, you're still in bondage.

  204. If you've got unforgiveness, you're still in bondage.

  205. If you've got hatred, you're still in bondage.

  206. If you're hopeless, you're still in bondage.

  207. Jesus says, I come to redeem you out of the bondage, but it's one step at a time.

  208. One step at a time.

  209. I watched him deliver me after deliver me and deliver me and deliver me and deliver me one step at a time.

  210. There was times I wanted to run, he said, don't run.

  211. Because if you run, if he delivers everything at one time, guess what's coming?

  212. Something worse.

  213. When they whenever the when Joshua carried him over into the promised land, it was one step at a time.

  214. They delivered.

  215. God delivered them one step at a time.

  216. One step at a time around to Jericho.

  217. One step at a time.

  218. One step at a time to each of the enemies.

  219. One step at a time.

  220. And he wants to deliver you one step at a time.

  221. But they had to take the step when they got to the Jordan and it was out of the banks.

  222. They done across the Red Sea, but they didn't know about it because why that generation died out.

  223. They're standing here, and the waters are out of the banks at the Jordan.

  224. And they're saying, We're going across to the other side.

  225. And they're already in their mind saying we'll never make it.

  226. We'll never make it.

  227. But Joshua said, Oh, yeah, we will.

  228. He put the Ark of the Covenant and put those guys out front.

  229. You're talking about men full of faith, they were.

  230. Because the moment that let me share this with you.

  231. The water never parted, they never parted till they took a step into the water.

  232. Where you're standing at right now looks like a uh the waters are out of the banks, and there's no physical way you can get from here to the other side.

  233. But the moment they stepped into the water, the waters began to move.

  234. And then they took another step and the waters began to move.

  235. And then before it was over with, they stepped and the waters began to run from them.

  236. You got to understand the enemy will run from you when you take that step.

  237. Because why?

  238. Because God is the one that's got in there with you now.

  239. You're no longer by yourself, you're no longer standing there fretting over it.

  240. You're no longer that.

  241. You've decided to let him get with you, and he's stepping right along there with you, side by side, hand by hand.

  242. And he goes one step at a time with you, one step at a time, and you watch it part.

  243. And what did they do?

  244. Well, they went across on dry land across to the other side.

  245. And the Ark of the Covenant had to stay so many hundreds of feet away from them in the midst of it.

  246. And he said, Oh, by the way, by the way, I want you to send your 12 to your 12 tribe leaders and go each one of them, get a stone and pile it up in the middle of the Jordan.

  247. It did not make no sense.

  248. I said, In the middle of the Jordan, the waters are gonna come back over.

  249. He said, Dude, don't do it in the middle of the Jordan in case I send somebody else across here and they ask what that's for, they'll know that they walked across here on dry land.

  250. Let me share with you.

  251. He's trying to get you to put your stuff in the middle of the Jordan, but you're too quick to want to get across it.

  252. Because why?

  253. Because you're afraid the waters are gonna come back on it.

  254. Because why?

  255. Because you haven't put your faith in God.

  256. God said, I'll hold the waters, you get the stone.

  257. You get the stone, you pile them up inside of the Jordan.

  258. Because why?

  259. Because there's a chance somebody else is gonna have to come across there.

  260. And whenever they see it, when they come across, they're gonna be hoping their eyes because why?

  261. Because I'm not the first one that went across the Jordan and dry ground.

  262. Somebody else has gone before me.

  263. Hallelujah, let me go, let me go, let me go, let me go.

  264. And then we get to the other side, amen.

  265. And then what did they tell them?

  266. Bring one with you.

  267. Because I need you to place them up on the high ground.

  268. Because your your children and your grandchildren and their grandchildren and their grandchildren are gonna come back to the Jordan at this very place and they're gonna ask, What do these stones represent?

  269. He said, That's when your father, your grandfather, your great-grandfather, they walked across the Jordan on dry ground.

  270. They walked from bondage, they left the house of bondage and come to the house of freedom.

  271. And that's what it looks like.

  272. And he said, I want you to put a stone there so you can remember that.

  273. Some of you need to go get you a stone and place it so your children can, children can see this because they need to know that you're no longer in the house of bondage, but you're in the house of freedom.

  274. Amen.

  275. And he and the only way they're gonna see that is for you to for you to put the stone out there so they can ask a question.

  276. Because right now you're still in a house of bondage.

  277. You can't see yourself on the other side of the Jordan because you're still blinded.

  278. And it's whoever.

  279. And that one is blinded, I'm telling you now.

  280. You got the scales, and all you can see is right here in front of you.

  281. The Jordan's already dried up.

  282. You're waiting on somebody to lay hands on you so the scales can fall off, and you can see your step to the other side.

  283. Verse 9.

  284. Oh Lord.

  285. So therefore, know that the Lord your God, He is God.

  286. Amen.

  287. The faithful God, amen.

  288. Who keeps covenant and mercy for how long?

  289. A thousand generations with those who love him and keep his commandments.

  290. Amen.

  291. Amen.

  292. So you don't have to wonder if he's gonna keep his promise.

  293. You don't have to wonder if he's gonna keep his covenant.

  294. You don't have to wonder.

  295. All he said to do is love him and keep his commandments.

  296. What are his commandments?

  297. Love God the All your heart, mind, and soul, like your neighbors yourself.

  298. That's the two of the greatest commandments of all what Jesus said.

  299. Amen.

  300. That's what he's telling us.

  301. That's what he wants us to understand.

  302. As I carry you now to 1 John 4, many of you know this.

  303. I want to share this with you real quick, though.

  304. So God is love, and we're going to see that in 1 John.

  305. But not just loving, but love.

  306. We find this in 1 John 4, 7 and 8.

  307. So love is not a description of God, it is the essence of God.

  308. His quality of love can be understood as the unf.

  309. Now listen to this very carefully.

  310. Unselfish giving of oneself for the highest good of another.

  311. He gave his only begotten Son for your best.

  312. That's how much he loves you.

  313. He sees you as the best.

  314. Remember what I shared with you?

  315. Your precious treasure.

  316. Why would he not give his best for it?

  317. Why won't we give our best for him?

  318. Because we got the wrong mindset.

  319. The enemy's got us all messed up.

  320. That's why we gotta.

  321. This is what I call just going back to the basics.

  322. Just sometimes we just gotta go back to the basics.

  323. And the basics is God chose you, He loved you, He sent the best for you, and He wants you to give Him His best.

  324. Amen.

  325. So again, unselfish giving of oneself for the highest good over another.

  326. So He wants you to do good.

  327. He means for you to be good.

  328. He has that for you.

  329. Do you see yourself that way?

  330. Well, no, I don't, because don't even go there.

  331. Yes.

  332. Because why?

  333. Because he who's in me is greater than he's in the world.

  334. He's the one.

  335. Because why?

  336. Because I because see, here's what happens though.

  337. We only share the last part of that verse.

  338. We need to go to the very beginning of it because it is a reminder.

  339. It says, because I am a child of God and I've been chosen by God, so greater is he that is in me and greater than he that is in the world.

  340. But you got to know first of all that I am a child of God.

  341. I've been hand-picked, hand-chosen.

  342. He is he has taken me from over here the house of bondage.

  343. He sent me into the house of freedom.

  344. And I'm gonna walk in that freedom.

  345. I don't care what the enemy tries to tell me.

  346. I don't care if you I don't care if you feel no different, but you gotta take that step.

  347. Because you're you're just one step away from freedom.

  348. One step away from having hope.

  349. One step away.

  350. And he said, if you'll just take that step.

  351. Just a step.

  352. Listen to what it says in 1 John, real quick, in a 7 and 8.

  353. It says this, beloved.

  354. So he's talking about believers now.

  355. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God.

  356. And everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

  357. Okay now?

  358. We can stop right there, but here's what he says in verse 8.

  359. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

  360. So if you got somebody you're having trouble loving, you better back up and look because God said, I love them.

  361. I may not like what they're doing.

  362. Please don't misunderstand me.

  363. I'm not trying to tell you that he's condoning their sinful nature.

  364. He loves them.

  365. He just hates the sin.

  366. He tells you, he calls you to love one another.

  367. Not to come along there.

  368. I didn't say go be their best friend.

  369. I didn't go tell them that you condone what they're doing.

  370. I just said love them.

  371. Respect them, honor them.

  372. And let God do the rest.

  373. Because that's his job.

  374. See, we get the mindset that and I and I was like this for a long time, and then God finally released me from that.

  375. And boy, I'm gonna tell you what, you're talking about freedom.

  376. Now that was freedom.

  377. I thought it was my job to get people saved.

  378. And he finally said, You idiot, you can't save nobody.

  379. That's my job.

  380. Thank you, Lord God.

  381. Thank you.

  382. Amen.

  383. Amen.

  384. All I do is preach the gospel.

  385. Let the Holy Spirit do the rest.

  386. Amen?

  387. And that's what he's asking us.

  388. Pray for that person you don't like.

  389. And let God work on their heart.

  390. Because right now, that person that just come to your mind that I'm talking about, you're hoping that they make a trip to hell on a promotion day.

  391. And you better pray.

  392. Let me share this with you right now.

  393. You better pray that that trip they make is not on a promotion day.

  394. Okay, let me let me carry you back now to Deuteronomy 7.

  395. Oh, I gotta push a little bit now.

  396. Okay, Deuteronomy 7, 22 and 23.

  397. We're right back to Deuteronomy once again.

  398. And it's here, so here's what it says.

  399. And the Lord, your God, will drive out those nations before you.

  400. And how's he gonna do it?

  401. Little by little.

  402. What does the nations look like?

  403. That's the worldly things.

  404. Amen.

  405. You can't drive them out.

  406. You've tried.

  407. Some of you have been fighting with addictions, some of you have been fighting with things for a lifetime.

  408. You've been fighting with anger, you've been fighting with with um unbelief.

  409. You've been fighting with with um.

  410. Come on, Lord, give me that, give me what they're fighting with now.

  411. Give it to me.

  412. Don't let the enemy rob me from this here.

  413. So you so you've been fighting with doubt, you've been fighting with unbelief, you've been fighting with with all kinds of things.

  414. God said, I'll drive them out, but it'll be little by little.

  415. But will you let me do it?

  416. Because see, here's a whole thing we got to understand.

  417. In order for it to happen, we got to give him permission to do it.

  418. We just think, well, you know, God's God's God, He's He's the one, He can do it.

  419. He will if you give Him permission.

  420. But if you don't give Him permission, He will not step in.

  421. He needs permission from you to be able to drive out that what is giving you that is holding you in bondage.

  422. Whatever that nation looks like, he didn't say nation, it said nations.

  423. You just you just fill in the blank of what that looks like in your life.

  424. Is it unbelief?

  425. Is it anger?

  426. Is it frustration?

  427. Is it a foul language?

  428. Is it lustful thoughts?

  429. Is it suicide thoughts?

  430. Is it bitterness?

  431. Is it hatred?

  432. Whatever it is, he said, I'll drive it out for you.

  433. Never does he say you can drive it out.

  434. No.

  435. He says, I'll drive it out.

  436. God will drive it out.

  437. Not God might drive it out, God may drive it out.

  438. No, God will drive it out.

  439. Amen.

  440. So, again, a benefit.

  441. Then he goes on to say, he said, Well, drive it out little by little.

  442. Because why?

  443. You will be unable to destroy them at once.

  444. Because he doesn't want it to be destroyed at once.

  445. Because I sin, if he destroys it at once, and then the doors are open, the house is clean, and then guess what he says?

  446. When he comes back, he's bringing seven worse than he left with.

  447. So it's little by little.

  448. Because here's what I want to share with you too.

  449. It's what happens.

  450. Whenever he starts driving these things out of your life, he means for you to put something back in it.

  451. So if he's driving bitterness out, he wants you to put joy in.

  452. If he's driving hate out, he wants you to put peace in.

  453. But you got to replace it with what he has for you.

  454. Don't replace it with what you want to replace it with.

  455. Replace it with what he has for you.

  456. Then he goes on.

  457. Let me hurry, even though it's beginning to rain outside.

  458. Don't pay no mind to that.

  459. That's just the blessings coming down.

  460. Amen?

  461. So he says, he said, I will destroy them at once.

  462. Least the beast of the field become two numbers for you.

  463. What is the beast?

  464. That's the enemy coming after you.

  465. That's why he says, he has to do the driving out.

  466. Because some of us, some of us are, because here's here's what here's where we're at with some of us.

  467. Because this is where I was at at one time.

  468. Because God, whenever he began to call me into this, he began to remove some stuff from me.

  469. And in the process of removing some stuff from me, I thought, okay, if he's removed from me, he's got to be removed from everybody else.

  470. Well, then whenever he, whenever these others went, I said, well, they're being disobedient, I guess, because I know God's trying to get that away from them.

  471. If he got it away from me, it's going to try to get away from them too, as well.

  472. But that wasn't what he was doing.

  473. He was just worrying about me.

  474. Because see, we get so busy, so hung up on worrying about somebody else.

  475. We get to point fingers at somebody else.

  476. Because why?

  477. Because we're trying to make ourselves look better if we can make them look worse.

  478. And God said, I ain't about that.

  479. It's about you and you alone.

  480. Let me help you.

  481. Let me help, let me show what I can do in you.

  482. I tell this in counseling.

  483. I and I don't know if I shared this last Sunday or not, but but anyhow, but anyhow, in counseling, I do that.

  484. Don't think, whenever you say I do, that you you're that gives you permission to begin to change your spouse.

  485. If you think that's what it is, you better stop right now because that ain't gonna work.

  486. God won't let you do that.

  487. That ain't your job.

  488. Now you start praying for your spouse, but be careful when you start pointing your fingers at your spouse because there's a good chance there's about three more pointing back at you.

  489. So when you say, Well, God, if you'll just change this in her or change this in him, that'll be good to go.

  490. And he said, Well, wait a minute.

  491. What about you?

  492. No, no, no, no, no.

  493. You change that, I'm good.

  494. He said, Yeah, but I need this change in you first.

  495. And when I get this change in you, then there's a chance that'll change in them.

  496. I don't want to see it done that way.

  497. See, we don't want to, we don't want God to change us.

  498. We want God to change everybody else around us and make us like it.

  499. Not realizing that all we're doing is those folks that are around you, they're in freedom.

  500. You're still in bondage.

  501. So let me go on.

  502. Verse 23.

  503. So, but the Lord your God will deliver them over to you and will inflict defeat upon them until they are destroyed.

  504. Do you believe that God can destroy your enemy?

  505. Yes.

  506. Now all you gotta do is let him.

  507. Now he says, you gotta let me do it.

  508. And then you gotta believe that he is going to drive out your enemy.

  509. Destroy them, he says.

  510. Not just push them to the side, destroy it.

  511. And that's what some of y'all need.

  512. Some of you have been playing patty cake with your enemies.

  513. You've been stepping on the fence on this side, stepping on the fence on that side, playing back and forth, back and forth.

  514. I know you don't like this.

  515. Get after God.

  516. I'm just a deliverer.

  517. He said, quit riding the fence.

  518. Because the next thing that's gonna happen is both feet's gonna come out from under you, and down on the fence you're gonna go.

  519. And men, that ain't good.

  520. So again, but it's one step at a time.

  521. He said, I'll defeat until they are destroyed.

  522. Amen.

  523. He said, then they shall be destroyed.

  524. Let's turn over to 1 Corinthians now.

  525. Alright, I'm sorry, 2 Corinthians.

  526. Excuse me.

  527. 2 Corinthians.

  528. I got them messed up in the back.

  529. 2 Corinthians and verse 9 and 10.

  530. Now, this is a tough one to understand, but but get a hold of this for yourself now.

  531. So this is Paul sharing this.

  532. He says, Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves.

  533. That we should not trust in ourselves, but in God.

  534. Amen.

  535. So again, what he's trying to tell you is don't trust in yourself, but you put your trust in God.

  536. Who raises the dead.

  537. Again.

  538. What he said you had to be born again.

  539. What did he say in 2 Corinthians 5.17?

  540. You died to yourself and you're raised in the newness of life.

  541. We're going to do some baptism here in just a minute.

  542. That's the exact picture of what that looks like.

  543. Raised in the newness of life.

  544. Died to the old self.

  545. He raises you up out of the dead.

  546. He said, who delivered us from so great a death.

  547. Do you understand the death that you have if you do not accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?

  548. A spiritual death.

  549. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.

  550. Amen.

  551. So your sins get you death.

  552. What's death look like?

  553. Separation from God forever.

  554. So when you get to hell, there is no promotion.

  555. It's ugly, it's bad.

  556. It's not a place that you want to be, it's not a place you want to visit.

  557. It's a place you want to be far, far from.

  558. And I promise you, if every once in a while we would just thank God that I don't even have to go down there and visit that place.

  559. Hallelujah.

  560. Praise God.

  561. Amen.

  562. Praise God for that.

  563. Because he says, I delivered us from such a great death and does deliver us in whom we trust that we will still, I mean that he will still deliver us.

  564. So again, let me let me read that one more time.

  565. Who delivered us from so great a death and does deliver us?

  566. Do you believe that God can deliver you?

  567. Do you believe that you are delivered?

  568. Yes.

  569. And then in whom we trust.

  570. Do you trust in God?

  571. Yes.

  572. That he will still deliver us.

  573. So amen.

  574. He's gonna deliver you now, he's gonna deliver you in the future, and he's gonna deliver you then.

  575. Deliver, deliver, deliver.

  576. That's why salvation is today.

  577. Today is deliverance for you.

  578. Today is your day of deliverance.

  579. Today is the day he wants to deliver you.

  580. Today is the day he wants to give you freedom.

  581. He wants to bring you out of the house of bondage, but you've got to be willing to take a step.

  582. You've got to be willing to step into the water.

  583. You gotta be willing.

  584. Because even Saul on the road to Damachus, this thing is echoing majorly bad.

  585. Have you got me real high or something?

  586. I got some echo going on really bad up here.

  587. Thank you.

  588. So, whenever you, whenever you think about Saul, whenever he got hit by Jesus, Jesus knocked him down on his knees now.

  589. And some of you had to come to that place.

  590. Jesus had to knock you on your knees.

  591. There's more people come to Jesus during tragedy than any other way.

  592. And he had a choice that day.

  593. Even though he was blinded, he didn't have to let them lead him on into Dabacus.

  594. But yet he went on.

  595. He had no idea.

  596. Now listen to me.

  597. He had no idea that he would ever see again.

  598. Because he got up.

  599. He walked up there seeing Jesus.

  600. When he found Jesus, Jesus put scales over his eyes so he could not see.

  601. They had to hand walk him on in there.

  602. And he stayed like that for three days.

  603. Until Ananias came along.

  604. And again, I'm telling you, when Ananias laid his hands on him, and Ananias did not want to go because he said, God, and here's what I share with you.

  605. Whoever Ananias is, the reason you ain't already went is because you had the same excuse Ananias had.

  606. But God said, no, you go.

  607. I got great plans for him.

  608. That's what I'm sharing with you.

  609. Don't use the same excuse Ananias used.

  610. You go.

  611. Because God has great plans for them, but he's waiting on Ananias.

  612. Ananias had to be obedient.

  613. You have to be obedient.

  614. As you stand to your feet now, the well I've got Rusty, get over by your mic, son, and sing.

  615. Oh, they're in the bag.

  616. They've come to oh oh here we come.

  617. Oh, that's good.

  618. I was fine where y'all are at.

  619. I I just didn't.

  620. Y'all give them more room up here.

  621. That's good.

  622. Here they come.

  623. Okay.

  624. All right.

  625. So again, as they begin they get ready to play and they begin to sing.

  626. I asked the Lord this morning in my prayer time.

  627. I said, Lord, I need you to I need you to extend the mantle out as far to the right as it will go and as far to the left it will go.

  628. And that mantle has the power to bring you out and make you take a step ahead.

  629. Because that's how much God cares about you getting one step away from your bondage and one step out of it.

  630. As the prayer team comes now and they begin to stand before this place.

  631. And I and I'm gonna share with you what I shared up there because I again folks are folks when it when it comes to this, nobody wants to admit I'm still in bondage.

  632. But I want you to admit that today.

  633. I want you to go to the theater of your mind.

  634. I know we hadn't been there in a while, but I want you to go to the theater of your mind for just a moment.

  635. So now you're in the theater of your mind, and you don't want you to just look down at your feet.

  636. And then I want you to look to your right.

  637. As you look down at your feet, you don't look to your right.

  638. And I want you to understand that Jesus stands right beside you right now.

  639. And he's asking you right now, will you take a step with him toward freedom?

  640. Because remember what he said.

  641. It's the truth that makes you free.
