  1. I wonder, is there anybody in this room, watching online

  2. or on television who has found yourself at a dead

  3. end this day. In a relationship, you can find yourself

  4. having done all that you know to do for someone

  5. that you love and thinking to yourself, well if they

  6. don't love.

  7. Me back by now.

  8. You can find yourself at a dead end with your children.

  9. You can do everything that you can do for the

  10. very for the very person that you would do anything for,

  11. but it is not enough, and you find yourself before

  12. God saying I don't know what else to do. You

  13. can find yourself at a dead end in your resources,

  14. out of I'm out of money. I put everything on

  15. every credit card. I stole a credit card alive to

  16. get another credit card. I put that balance on this balance,

  17. and I can't balance anything else anymore.

  18. I'm at an end. I don't know.

  19. I think this is it, because I really think I've

  20. run out of room to run. I'm at a dead end.

  21. You know, religion can leave you at a dead end

  22. when you have made so many commitments to change, but

  23. you never do. When you have said so many times

  24. you know I'm gonna do better. Now you know I'm

  25. really gonna I'm gonna really kick that. You know, that's

  26. the last time I'm gonna do that. That's really the

  27. last time. This time is the last time. I won't

  28. do it no more. And then you do it again,

  29. and every time you do, you feel a little more

  30. hopeless that you're ever going to be capable of real change.

  31. I wonder, are you at a dead end? And I

  32. wonder did you know that dead ends are the perfect.

  33. Place for new beginnings?

  34. In Jesus Christ, this is the message that I came

  35. to preach this Christmas, not about a tall baby lying

  36. in a passing.

  37. That I came to preach about new beginnings.

  38. The Lord is come. Let earth reseve her king. Let

  39. every heart prepare his room. He is with us, and

  40. anything is possible.

  41. This is not the end. It seems to be the

  42. announcement of Heaven that this is not the end. Touch

  43. somebody say this is not the end.

  44. New beginnings often start when you find yourself at a

  45. dead end. I admire Joseph. I admire Joseph. Maybe it's

  46. more appropriate to say you admire Mary. Maybe that's sexist

  47. for me to preach about Joseph on Christmas, because Mary

  48. did all the hard work.

  49. You understand. I'm not trying to be that way.

  50. I really, I really just think that I wouldn't have

  51. had the faith.

  52. To give Mary the benefit of the doubt on this.

  53. One, on this one. And so it says he had

  54. a dream and he woke up and he was like, cool.

  55. See, I wouldn't be cool.

  56. But just a dream unless the angel was Maury Povich

  57. with a paternity task, like, no, I promise you can

  58. show this, then I'm good. If we got some DNA

  59. on this divine baby in your belly, fine, But I'm

  60. not so sure because I have crazy dreams.

  61. This might have been just a crazy dream.

  62. But he did what the angel had commanded him. That

  63. the angel said something that is simple on the surface,

  64. but there's great depth to it.

  65. I'd like you to consider it.

  66. In verse twenty, what is conceived in her is from

  67. the Holy Spirit.

  68. Simplify, what's in her is from Me.

  69. And sometimes God wants you to know that what is

  70. packaged as disappointment.

  71. Is really destiny. Do you see it? What's in her

  72. is from Me.

  73. And sometimes when people cause you pain and when life

  74. lets you down, it looks on the surface like God

  75. has left you. But what's in her, what's happening in

  76. your life is from me, and he goes with it.

  77. And I must have like a really bad version of

  78. the Bible. This is a little older Bible that I

  79. preached from. It is a great Bible. It has Billy

  80. Graham's signature in it. This Bible. He signed this Bible.

  81. They told me he signed it.

  82. I wasn't there.

  83. I never met him, but could have been Larry Bry

  84. with some good penmanship.

  85. Who knows.

  86. Not give him the benefit of the doubt, though, that

  87. Billy Graham really signed the Bible and in this Bible.

  88. I was struggling because I couldn't find anybody else got

  89. a Bible.

  90. I just want to cross references because my Bible must

  91. be messed up because in my bible.

  92. Let's see your bible. Your Bible might be better than mine.

  93. It's a smaller bibles. Point that out.

  94. Oh this is the good one. This this might be

  95. the King James version or something like that. Yeah, this

  96. one will have it. I see, I'm looking twenty two version.

  97. We've seen you give virtu a son name and just

  98. being raised from sleep.

  99. Nope, your Bible's your Bible's missing it too.

  100. I was looking for the part of the story where

  101. the angel gave Joseph proof and I couldn't find it

  102. in my Bible or yours. Anybody else got a Bible

  103. because our bibles are are missing stuff.

  104. It's disappointing.

  105. I know they've got new translations. Surely it'll be in

  106. a in this bible. What color do you call that, babe?

  107. That's a huh? What color is this bible? Surely it'll

  108. be in your pink bible. She's got tabs on her bible.

  109. Surely it'll be. Well, see this one. This one's problematic too.

  110. It's pretty, but it's it's problematic because now I'm looking

  111. for the part where.

  112. It tells me how Joseph felt. I can't find it.

  113. All it says is that God said to Joseph, it's

  114. me go forward, and he did it.

  115. I can't find the part where they wrote in the clouds, no, really,

  116. this is God's baby, you know, at their gender reveal

  117. party because they also needed to have a divinity revealed party.

  118. I can't find the clouds. I can't find the sign.

  119. It was just the voice of God saying to Joseph,

  120. it's me go through. And I feel like that might

  121. be the Lord for someone today.

  122. I know you don't have the proof. I know you

  123. don't have.

  124. The feeling, and I know all signs point to stay,

  125. but it's me.

  126. Go through.

  127. He must have really trusted Mary, but he did. He

  128. couldn't trust Mary, now, could he. This is an arranged marriage.

  129. They didn't date three years. He didn't get to choose her,

  130. pick her based on her profile Christian Singles dot com,

  131. Christian Palestinians dot com. He didn't swipe for Mary. He

  132. just that's the way it worked back then. You just

  133. got her. He didn't know her like that. He must

  134. have really trusted God enough to give him the benefit

  135. of the doubt.

  136. What is the benefit of the doubt?

  137. I asked God how we should define that term, and

  138. he told me to ask Wikipedia.

  139. Wikipedia says that the benefit of the.

  140. Doubt is a favorable judgment in the apps sense of

  141. full evidence.

  142. The benefit of the doubt it.

  143. Means that when it doesn't add up, the variable is

  144. God for me. And so it means that when I

  145. don't have evidence to support my conclusion that God is good,

  146. that He is with me, and that He is for me.

  147. Let's say those three things. God is good, He is

  148. with me, he is for me. I want you to

  149. say it again, and I'm looking all the way to

  150. the back to the people with that little Christmas attitude,

  151. say God is good, he is with me, he is

  152. for me.

  153. Now I have.

  154. Reached that verdict, not by the process of deduction and

  155. looking at my life to see if it lines up.

  156. With that assertion.

  157. I reached that conclusion by revelation, and once I came

  158. to believe that God is good, he is with me,

  159. and he is for me, I now live by that

  160. verdict and I collect the evidence to support the verdict

  161. that I have already come to. This is not how

  162. you reach a conclusion in a court of law, but

  163. in the realm of faith.

  164. It works like this verdict.

  165. First evidence, Second, what does that mean. I don't look

  166. to my bank account or my doctor's report to see

  167. if God is a provider or a healer. I've already

  168. come to the conclusion that he is Jehovah Chirah and

  169. Jehovah Rafica. He is my provider and my healer. That's

  170. the verdict. So now, no matter what the evidence says,

  171. I can find greater evidence. In the death of Jesus

  172. christ see when he hugged for me.

  173. That's settled it out of court.

  174. I don't need to take it before a judge or

  175. a jury.

  176. I already know he loves me.

  177. This my y.
