  1. Sometimes I realize you got a check and say, where

  2. did this.

  3. Thought come from?

  4. Because where it comes from determines where it's leading to.

  5. So here's what's interesting.

  6. You get a thought and you'll catch it, and it

  7. may even be a comfortable thought. You know, when you

  8. tell yourself, Oh, I'm not this or I'm not that

  9. or whatever, it's comfortable because it brings you down to

  10. the level of familiarity with your insecurity.

  11. So here's what I pictured in my mind.

  12. Let's say you want to go to Miami and you

  13. get in a really nice car. What's a really nice car?

  14. How nice you want to go? Let's do a Bentley

  15. Since we're just making it up. Okay, let's say you

  16. get in a Bentley that's headed north on I ninety five.

  17. Here's what God showed me. You may like the ride

  18. but hate the destination. So before I catch a thought,

  19. I gotta find out if I get into this thought,

  20. if I indulge this thought, I'm saving somebody's marriage today,

  21. I'm saving somebody's sanity today.

  22. Because before I catch.

  23. This thought, I gotta know where is this coming from.

  24. If it's not coming from God, it's not leading to

  25. my calling. If it's not leading to my calling. I

  26. don't care how nice is the ride. I don't want

  27. to end up somewhere I never intended to go.

  28. God called me to Canaan. God called me to purpose.

  29. God called me to joy. God called me to peace.

  30. You get to catch this word. God called me to abundance.

  31. God called me to overcome. God called me the victory.

  32. God called me the generational legacy and freedom and hope

  33. and joy.

  34. How many times in my life have I ended up

  35. in a destination that I hated because I caught a

  36. thought that didn't come from God.

  37. Fate this contagious, so is fear.

  38. They were spreading it all around the church at Corinth

  39. about Paul, and Paul was like, hey, remember me, I'm Paul, y'all,

  40. that's the original Greek, the one who loved you and

  41. taught you.

  42. I taught you. I taught you, But sometimes it's taught,

  43. but it's not.

  44. This word from God only becomes yours when you get

  45. close and receive it for yourself. Now, just because I

  46. say it, just because I taught it, doesn't mean you

  47. caught it. And if you worship God at a distance,

  48. if you don't really enter in, you catch the thoughts

  49. of whatever you're the closest to.

  50. I promise you. That's for a high.

  51. Schooler over here, Paul says in Second Corinthians tend for

  52. the weapons that we fight with are not carnal or

  53. they're not worldly weapons. We don't depend on, you know,

  54. the psychological strategies that are the most efficient. We want

  55. the wisdom of God in our life. One of other

  56. ways of God. He said, these weapons that we fight with,

  57. they have divine power to demolish strongholds. What's a stronghold.

  58. It can be something that you run to when you

  59. have a stronghold. It can be a place that you

  60. go for shelter from an enemy. It can also be

  61. a place though where an enemy entraps you in something

  62. that you're into the same stronghold the thought, depending on

  63. what thought, depending on whether you listen to Caleb or

  64. the other spies, depending on whether you believe the pure

  65. word that God has spoken over your life about the

  66. essence of the spirit that He placed inside of you.

  67. That thought that let's call it the dominant thought.

  68. What is the dominant thought?

  69. You know, I've been working through this in the last year,

  70. just on a personal level, to realize that some of

  71. the states of mind I find myself in. It was

  72. a thought that I caught, and then the thought caught me.

  73. And even now now at this stage of my life,

  74. I had this thought like, and I know this might

  75. sound like offensive to some of you or whatever. I'm

  76. just gonna say it, though, it's like, uh, you know,

  77. like your best is behind you, you're aging out. It's

  78. like some people don't even start preaching until they're forty,

  79. you know.

  80. But but it became a thought.

  81. It started planting because you know, my kids will see

  82. me on my phone and they'll be they'll be like, yeah,

  83. that's an old man way to do it. And it

  84. just it's like, oh wow, I thought I am, you know,

  85. And and I let the thought I caught it. I

  86. caught it. And sometimes you don't even know where you

  87. caught it from. But something will get inside of you

  88. and then it becomes a dominant thought, not just a

  89. not just a sneeze, it becomes a flu and then

  90. you catch that thought and you don't let it go,

  91. even though it's leading you somewhere you never intended to go.

  92. Like this one. I think this a lot.

  93. I don't think it exactly like this, but I was

  94. trying to summarize it in the essence of what it

  95. says is I'm not enough.

  96. I think that a lot. I think that a lot.

  97. I think like smart enough, whatever, you know, godly enough,

  98. disciplined enough, tall enough, what else? Oh, I think a

  99. lot of times. Raise your hand if you've ever thought that,

  100. by the way, enough, I'm not gonna stand up here

  101. by myself.

  102. Y'all, pray for everybody. Put your hand back off.

  103. If you ever thought I'm not pray for the people

  104. with their hands down, pray for their pride issues.

  105. Or I think like.

  106. You know how something can go really good, and when

  107. it's going good, you think it won't last.

  108. It won't last.

  109. One of my friends said, it's like you feel like

  110. you're a kid going downhill on a bicycle, like really

  111. fast and it's really fun, but you know at some point.

  112. This doesn't end well.

  113. And I've often been in my moments of really great

  114. joy but picturing all the ways that it could fall apart,

  115. to the point where.

  116. I could not enjoy the fruit because I was so

  117. fearful of the attack.

  118. You ever thought that in a good moment, in a

  119. good relationship, like oh, well, they're gonna leave to.

  120. Yeah, that's a stronghold. That's that's an example of a stronghold.

  121. That's an argument.

  122. Did you notice what Paul said, Go to.

  123. The next verse. In five.

  124. We demolish arguments arguing against what the purpose of God right.

  125. We silence the ten spies that say you can't.

  126. We demolish that. We destroy it. We obliterate that not

  127. with worldly.

  128. Weapons, but with spiritual dimensions of reality and revelation through

  129. the power of faith. We demolish strongholds and every pretension

  130. that sets itself up against the knowledge of God.

  131. I know I know something about God.

  132. I know that He is for me.

  133. I know that he is with me.

  134. I know that He has called me, equipped me, positioned me,

  135. enrolled me, enabled me. I'm running out at the sourus words.

  136. You'll can say amen anytime. I know that He has

  137. sanctified me. I know that He has empowered me. You

  138. make up one.

  139. I know that God has set me, established me, strengthened me,

  140. spoken to me, forgiven me, healed me, delivered.

  141. Me, brought me, taught me. See.

  142. See this is what I'm talking about. When you get

  143. a dominant thought. Oh, the goodness of God when you

  144. know that God is for me, who can be against me?

  145. Canaanite? What hip tight? What ammonite? What parizite? What sell

  146. you like?

  147. What?

  148. Come on?

  149. Somebody? I know that God is for me. I know

  150. that God has spoken. I know that He established it.

  151. I caught a thought.

  152. I caught a thought.

  153. See you know, I got into depression because I caught

  154. a thought. How am I gonna come out of depression?

  155. Ask Jeremiah, this I recall to my mind.

  156. Therefore I have hope God didn't hear me.

  157. It is because of the Lord's mercies that.

  158. We are not consumed. So you know, next week, when

  159. you go back.

  160. To work and people are like, you look different this week,

  161. you don't look so stressed this week, make sure you

  162. tell them what happened.

  163. Tell him, I went to church.

  164. I caught a ride to Elevation Church. I caught a

  165. ride to that crazy church with the orange neon logo

  166. that points up to where God lives, that points up.

  167. To his thoughts, that points up to his ways.

  168. Far as high as the heavens are above the earth,

  169. so are my ways above your ways. But tell him this,

  170. Tell him I didn't just go to church. Watch this.

  171. I caught a thought. See, I was struggling with my shame,

  172. but I caught a thought of his grace. When I

  173. caught a thought of his grace, it was greater than

  174. my sin and shame. Don't you understand The way out

  175. of this pit is for you to catch a thought

  176. of grace.

  177. Come on, right now, do it. Get a thought on.

  178. Your mind of the goodness of Jesus and how much

  179. He's stunned for you. I got my joy back because

  180. I caught a thought. I got my peace back because I.

  181. Caught a thought. When I think of.

  182. The goodness of Jesus and all that He's done for me.

  183. Back up temple, I caught a thought. High five ten

  184. people tell him I caught a thought. Ten spies tell him,

  185. I caught a thought. Surely goodness and mercy. Come on,

  186. Catch this shall follow me all the days of my life.

  187. Catch this faith, catch this favor, Catch this hope.

  188. I caught it. I caught it.

  189. He had me in the fowler snare, But the grip

  190. of the grace of God was stronger. I caught a thought.

  191. That's how I made it through the dry season. I

  192. caught a thought. That's how I made it through the breakup.

  193. I caught a thought. That's how I came out of anxiety.

  194. I caught a thought. That's how I breathed when.

  195. The pressure was inside my I caught a thought.

  196. Like the sail catches the wind, I caught a thought,

  197. like a surfer catches a wave. I caught a thought.

  198. I caught a thought. I caught a thought because the

  199. enemy had been robbing me. I had been holding on

  200. to something that happened to me, and it made me bitter.

  201. But I caught a thought, and I realized that if

  202. I forgive, I can be free.

  203. I caught a thought.

  204. And then I realized how much he had forgiven me off,

  205. and I realized I gotta let this go.

  206. To receive. I caught a thought. Hey, thank you for watching.
