  1. Hey there, you're listening to the Generation's Church podcast. We pray that the

  2. word of God today will challenge, change and channel you into your God given

  3. destiny. Now let's get started today. I'm going to appreciate to you on

  4. a very simple, basic sermon, very familiar to many of you. John

  5. three sixteen. It says, for God soul love the world that he gave

  6. his only begoden Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but

  7. have eternal life. A lot of times, right when we quote this,

  8. and when we say this, probably a lot of people this is the only

  9. verse that you memorize. It's enough calllel You know why, because it encapsulates

  10. the intent of the son of God. You know, for God's soul loved

  11. the world that he gave his only begoden Son. Today, I want to

  12. tell you that we need to as a new church, as a new generation,

  13. as generations, we have to reimagine the love of God. Why the

  14. people in the Bible, especially in the Old Testament and welcoming the Messiah,

  15. they could not relate to Jesus because they could not reimagine how God would love

  16. them. They could not reimagine how the love of God could dwell among men.

  17. So one of the things that we need to know is, yes,

  18. God has done great things in the past, but we need to reimagine how

  19. God is gonna love generations. Are you all with me? So you know

  20. this? This passage was written by John, of course, in a conversation

  21. with this man called Nicodemus. Have you heard of Nicodemus? So he is

  22. a top high official religious leader, very intellectual, good in all his conduct.

  23. But he went to Jesus at night, in the middle of the night.

  24. Nicodemus went to Jesus and asked the question and ask how can I inherit

  25. eternal life? How can I be part of the kingdom of God? But

  26. when someone comes to you at night, what does that mean? He does

  27. not wants to be seen to be associated with you. He doesn't want to

  28. be seen in a social setting with you. That was why he was sheepishly

  29. looking for Jesus and asking Jesus, how can I inherit the kingdom of God?

  30. Jesus said, you have to be born again. A lot of you

  31. would have heard of this conversation that nico Dimas said, how can I go

  32. back to her mother's room and be born again. I'm already a grown man

  33. and a doubt. It's impossible. That's why to Jesus he wants Nico Dimus

  34. to reimagine love. Everyone says reimagine love. Come, I say, reimagine

  35. love. We need to reimagine how can we be born again? So there

  36. and then, in the conversation with this all revered, highly educated man,

  37. Jesus said this famous verse for God's soul of the world that he gave his

  38. only begodden son. You see, when someone shared with you a statement of

  39. intent, I am here because that itself, it's like a vision statement.

  40. But how does he lived out his life after? That is even more important?

  41. Am I right or not? So if we want to understand John three

  42. sixteen, My friends, then we need to know what happens subsequently in John

  43. chapter four, John chapter five. After someone tell you that, hey,

  44. I want to build a brand new church, how does he live his life?

  45. How does she live his her life? You know, when someone tell

  46. you that I am called to do this and to do that. I want

  47. to be a tekwondo champion. My whole family we want us to get the

  48. black belt together. Then you better watch their lifestyle. Do they go practice,

  49. do they actually enter competition? Are they serious about what they're talking?

  50. So when Jesus said that I love the world, you know, when God

  51. sent me to love the world, then let's check what happened thereafter. Right

  52. after John chapter three was a very familiar story for all of us. In

  53. John chapter four, where Jesus met the Samaritan woman. How many of you

  54. have heard this story before? The Samaritan woman. So what happened. Jesus

  55. was on his way to Galilee. So Jesus was on his way to Galilee

  56. from Judea and then he has to pass by Sikar in Samaria. What happened

  57. was that it happened twelve o'clock. Remember just now, Nicodemus met Jesus late

  58. at night. So this girl met Jesus right in the broad daylight at twelve

  59. o'clock. So the timing in the Bible was very intentional written by John.

  60. Why because John wants you to know that Jesus will meet you anytime, whether

  61. it is at night or in the afternoon, Jesus will be there. He

  62. went, and then while the disciples were out to get lunch, what happened,

  63. So it was written here in verse five. So he came to a

  64. town in Samaria, Corsica, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to

  65. his son Joseph. Jacob's well was there, and Jesus, tired as he

  66. was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon,

  67. about twelve o'clock, and there he met this Samaritan woman. So the

  68. conversation was very interesting. The moment Jesus struck the conversation, the woman said,

  69. hey, you are a Jew, I am a Samaritan. We are

  70. not supposed to talk to each other. You have this kind of conversation before.

  71. Where my wife came from a lord of their ethnicity. They don't talk

  72. to certain people in different tribes. So it was like, why do you

  73. want to talk to me? He said, I just I'm just thirsty.

  74. Can I have some water or not? Dan there right, the conversation became

  75. very interesting. I want you to focus on what was the content of the

  76. conversation here He said, I am thirsty? Can you give me some water?

  77. And he said, sure, sir, So Jesus that water, right,

  78. Jesus drank that water. But what happened? Jesus said, it's a

  79. pity. Why because after you drink you get thirsty again. What if I

  80. show your water that after you drink you don't get thirsty anymore? Is that?

  81. Kungan? No? Yeah, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding.

  82. Is it, Kobe? You know? Okay, come on, get serious?

  83. But he said no, So what is this water? He said?

  84. I can give it to you, but you go and call your husband,

  85. get your husband and come back. You know what this woman replied? She

  86. said, I have no husband. I have no husband. I want you

  87. to look at that conversation. And this is what surprised me while I was

  88. preparing John chapter four, verse sixteenth, verse nineteen. He told her,

  89. go call your husband and come back. I have no husband, she replied.

  90. Jesus said to her, you are right when you say you have no

  91. husband. Jesus, who knew or knows all things, knowing that she only

  92. gave a half truth, did not judge her, did not condemn her,

  93. did not try to correct her, but to say that, yes, you

  94. are right. Sometimes someone says half truth to you. Are you able to

  95. be this gracious? And I think that's very gracious of Jesus to not,

  96. you know, say hey, you lie? Are you you say you got

  97. no husband. No, Jesus actually said, you are right. The fact

  98. is you have had five husbands and the man you now have is not your

  99. husband. What you have said is quite true. Everyone says quite true.

  100. I don't know whether you have read this before or not, but Jesus was

  101. so gracious and say what you have said is quite true, sir. The

  102. woman said, and see that you are a prophet. You know, sometimes

  103. when we say you want to love people, but whenever they share something to

  104. you, it is it. Come on, see what something tell me?

  105. Then people are like and you come here to love me, or you come

  106. here to be a detective, you know how that feels, or not?

  107. Come a mom, so lily, how are you? How busy? Lord?

  108. Actually you hurt that this person is dating someone and not telling you the

  109. whole night. You're trying to dig something. You are actually not interested in

  110. loving that person. You are actually only interested in finding out improved that person?

  111. Wrong? Am I talking to somebody or not? So Jesus knew everything.

  112. But yeah, what you say is quite true. Then the conclusion of

  113. her is that you must really be a prophet. You see, guys,

  114. when we love somebody, we need to learn to be gracious. What you

  115. said is quite true, Jesus said Dan. She recognized that s it.

  116. You must be a prophet. What happened here? I want to show you

  117. when God says that he loves the world. The very interesting thing is that,

  118. in a very rare occasion, Jesus admitted who he is as a messiah

  119. to a Samaritan woman, to someone who is a non Jew that probably most

  120. people will think will not be deserving of his love. That is why I

  121. want you to reimagine the love of God. That the greatest revelation of him

  122. being a savior and being a son of God is not right there in a

  123. temple or right not right there at the political rally, not even at the

  124. feeding of the five thousand, not there when everyone was watching him. But

  125. he was there with a Samaritan woman by the well at twelve o'clock, when

  126. nobody is watching. He actually revealed who he is. And how many of

  127. times do we preach the love of God. We only preach when the attention

  128. is on earth, when the stage is set right, and we're forgotten that

  129. the reason that God has given his son is to those that are undeserving,

  130. those that need an imagination of a future. Hello, you're with me?

  131. That we need to understand that many times in the Book of Dawn, I

  132. am a never Jesus did a miracle. He will say this, tell nobody,

  133. because I don't want the attention. My hour is not yet. My

  134. time is not here yet, My hour is not here for the son of

  135. Man to be revealed. Yet again and again, he could have gained political

  136. knowledge, he could have gained more disciples, but he chose to just stay

  137. quiet and many times just just slipped away from the crowd to have no attention.

  138. But here he acknowledged that I am the Messiah. But do you know

  139. a lot of times generations, when we think that God will reveal his glory

  140. and being a messia, we are looking for the spectacular. But today,

  141. this evening, what I want to tell you is that God is not just

  142. a God that can perform miracle, but God is also a God that is

  143. all knowing and an old language who always say that God is omnition God.

  144. You know how people feel loved? People feel loved when you know them.

  145. Do you know how people feel loved? People feel loved when you know them,

  146. and yet you do not judge them and yet you are present with them.

  147. So one of the signs of Jesus being the God that loved the world

  148. is that he is a god that is able to be there, knowing everything

  149. about you, yet not judging you. And so many of times a little

  150. information we know about soul, and so a little information that we hear about

  151. this person's background from this church or from that company or from that school,

  152. we already prejudge them. And Jesus went all the way. Do you know

  153. the Samaritans are known as dogs. You know, during the olden days when

  154. the twelve tribes were separated, the tribe of Juda and the rest of the

  155. Israel on the Northern kingdom other kingdom were captured by the Assyrians. So because

  156. the Assyrians will want to assert their power, they implement this policy called intermarriage.

  157. So a lot of times the Jews are forced to marry the Assyrians,

  158. to mix up their power, to mix up their culture, to mix up

  159. their possessions and their business. So the Samaritans will greatly look down where else

  160. the tribe of Judah will captured many hundred years later by the Babylonians pride themselves

  161. as people that we will stand firm and will not bowed out to idols.

  162. Will not do this, will not do that. No, even in the

  163. lines, then even in the fivery furnace, even through any persecution, we

  164. stand firm as the seat of Abraham, and we will not marry anybody,

  165. and we will not bowed down to any idols. So because of that,

  166. they has this pride about what they are works Christians. I'm talking to you

  167. sometimes our trials and our pride is so much about our work, how well

  168. we keep on to the law, how well we behave as a Christian,

  169. rather than how much were depending on the grace of God. You know,

  170. the older I get, the more religious I become. In twenty eighteen,

  171. I left the church to venture into many other career. Not because I was

  172. pursuing for another career of money. I just felt that I am in this

  173. bubble. I'm in this bubble. Everything that I do, I can use

  174. my hand and count how many non Christian friends that I have that I would

  175. sincerely want to go and talk to. I am solving Christian problems, Christian

  176. marriages, conducting Christian funerals, Christian wedding, Christian counseling. Everything is about

  177. just Christianity. But isn't it true that God has sent us to the world.

  178. You understand what I'm trying to say. That is why I, at

  179. forty years old, I took a step of faith to ask myself, am

  180. I of any value? If I go back out to the marketplace? And

  181. then I want to tell you what one of the greatest display of God's power

  182. is when God say I know you and I still love you. And that

  183. was what he did to the Samaritan woman. If we read from just a

  184. statement, we could not comprehend the love of God. But when you know

  185. that this woman who had five husbands, what was she thirsting about? If

  186. we are not present right, we don't understand what Jesus was trying to say.

  187. She was thirsty for relationship? Where on earth? Who on earth will

  188. marry? Five times? Just looking at the wedding planner, I also tired.

  189. Ready, how many wedding exhibitions you want to go to? How many

  190. makeup artists you want to choose from which pastor will conduct your wedding? Again

  191. and again and you again? Ah cuts off the can I not like but

  192. she did it for five times? You see? Why is she not giving

  193. up? And why are we judging her? Oh, you are a slut,

  194. you are a cheap person. You destroy marriages. But Jesus saw it.

  195. You must be hungry, You must be thirsty. You must know that

  196. as a woman you want to be loved by a man. But it's too

  197. pity. Every relationship that got into you got thirsty again when you think that

  198. you're so so close to somebody, but then you realize he is just a

  199. man. She is just a man a woman. You understand what I'm trying

  200. to say, Like the Digitus can't satisfaction until you found the savior, Jesus

  201. Christ, who can be with you twenty four to seven. And Jesus said,

  202. now you have found someone that can satisfy your thirsts forever. Isn't the

  203. good news? So that's why after talking to Nicodemus, the first thing Jesus

  204. did was to tell that I know everybody, and I still choose you.

  205. And I went all the way, even though at twelve o'clock you don't want

  206. to be seen by anybody by the well because it was so hot. Nobody

  207. would go to the well at twelve o'clock, but I would go for you.

  208. But then many times what stops us from experiencing that love. It is

  209. this work called shame. Shame is not guilt, guilt is doing something wrong.

  210. Shame is something wrong with me. And because of her past, she

  211. was so shameful that she could not she could not go into any social setting.

  212. And she would not go to the well in the morning with the other

  213. ladies. She will not go to the well in the evening with other ladies.

  214. She would just go twelve o'clock on the desert country. Why because she

  215. was carrying shame. My friends, today, if you are carrying shame,

  216. I want to give you this verse in first joint of the Tree, verse

  217. twenty from the same author, John said, for whenever our heart condemns us,

  218. God is greater than our heart. He knows everything. Can I have

  219. an amen? This is the God that loves the world. Of course,

  220. the result is such that universe. They nine to verse forty two. Many

  221. of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman's testimony.

  222. He told everything I ever did. So when the said when someone got exposed

  223. for whatever she had ever did, can you be that proud of not?

  224. She did? Because she met her savior. He told me everything I did

  225. ever did. So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to

  226. stay with them. So he stayed two days, and because of his words,

  227. many more became believers. They said to the woman, we no longer

  228. believe just because of what you said. Now we have heard for ourselves,

  229. and we know that this man is really the savior of the world. What

  230. a story. Revival starts with? How many people won? If you would

  231. encounter Christ yourself, even though you're an outcast, caring shame, one of

  232. you can bring revival to a whole generation. And then I want to let

  233. you know. It didn't stop there after meeting this woman in John chapter four,

  234. immediately while he was still on his way, a high official came and

  235. met Jesus. And I think you know the story, and this this father,

  236. I am a father, and this is very interesting that there is this

  237. boy that's about to die. The father came to Jesus. It reminded me

  238. of John chapter eleven. I think on the story of Lazarus, it was

  239. almost the same story. People know that Jesus could heal, but this Jesus

  240. spoke and the official son immediately God healed. Let me just read to you,

  241. okay in inverse forty three, John chapter four, verse forty three,

  242. what does it mean by God loving the world? After the two days he

  243. left for Galilee. Now Jesus himself had pointed out that a prophet has no

  244. honor in his own country. When he arrived in Galilee, the Galileans welcome

  245. him. They had seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the Passover

  246. festival, for they also had been there once more. He visited Cana in

  247. Galilee, remembered this story water into wine, but he turned the water into

  248. wine. And there was a certain royal official whose son lay sick at Kapanum.

  249. When this man heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea, he

  250. went to him and backed him back him to come and heal his son,

  251. who was close to death. Unless you people see signs and wonders, Jesus

  252. told him, you will never believe. The royal official says, come come

  253. down before my child dies. Jesus go, Jesus replied, your son will

  254. leave. The man took Jesus at his word and departed. While he was

  255. still on the way, his servant met him with the news that his boy

  256. was leaving. Then he inquired as to the time when his son got better.

  257. They said to him yesterday at one in the afternoon. At one in

  258. the afternoon, the fever left him. Then the father realized that this was

  259. the exact time at which Jesus had said, your son will leave. Listen

  260. carefully, verse with fifty five is crucial. Then the father realized that this

  261. was the exact time at which Jesus had said, your son will leave.

  262. So he and his whole household belief. This was the second sign Jesus performed

  263. after coming from Judea to Galilee. You see the second part that I want

  264. to tell you. God is not just all knowing. Guess what God is

  265. all present? Many times, right we would think that we need God physically

  266. to be there in order for something to happen. Today I want to teach

  267. use this is a lesson on what prayer. When you pray, believe,

  268. When you pray believe because this official son, this high official prayer. Going

  269. to Jesus and talking to Jesus is prayer. Am I right? Having a

  270. conversation is prayer. But you know what pray is not about your petition.

  271. Pray is about listening to what God has to say. So when you go

  272. to Jesus and you pray, and he said that I don't need to go

  273. with you. You are done. It is done. Then you just leave.

  274. But a lot of people to go to God with a prayer and go

  275. to God with a standard model answer. If you were to bless me,

  276. I will get my promotion at least twenty five percent. That's how you go

  277. to Jesus. But this guy did not get the package that he wanted.

  278. Yet he obeyed and went back to Captain. Are you able to live like

  279. that or not? He said, Oh, that's too tough. Exactly.

  280. Prayer is not about you talking to God. Prayers about you listening to God,

  281. and God say, go you go. If I would imagine if I

  282. am him, I would not listen to that part. Jesus, you didn't

  283. hear me. I say, my son is sick. Jesus, go,

  284. Jesus, you didn't hear it. It's not sick, it's very sick.

  285. Come now, go Jesus. You love the world. Right, that's how

  286. we go to God. You see, God, if you listen to my

  287. prayer, this will happen. You'll make that girl like me? Yes,

  288. God, No, other girl, only that girl. God say no,

  289. develop your character. God, you didn't hear how much I love that girl?

  290. Is it God? Make my boss leave the company? Oh? Oh,

  291. that's your prayer. That's your stand up model prayer. If God is

  292. real, God will do just like that. But prayer is not what you

  293. say to God. Prayer is what he heard, even though it's tough.

  294. I imagine he looked at Jesus manytime, Keller, Gola, no Wi Fi,

  295. no one except Chad, no c C TV at home, you know,

  296. don't have IG status, nothing. Just went back and the servant came

  297. and met him and he said, sir, your son is well, that's

  298. prayer. If God asks you to go, you go. You understand what

  299. I'm trying to say. It's not about your corporate alignment, and say,

  300. got your value aligned with my value? Can know there's only one alignment.

  301. You aligned to His will, not my will, but yours be done.

  302. So that's how God loves the world. He is lord of time and space.

  303. We need to acknowledge that Jesus is the lord of time and space,

  304. that in his time at one o'clock in his space, whether he is there

  305. in Galilee or cappinum. He is the Lord of time and space, and

  306. he performed his miracle. The question here for generations is this, are we

  307. willing to align ourselves to God's timing and God's space in starting this church?

  308. Are we willing to set the foundation right and not be anxious and say,

  309. God, at your time, no matter what, we show up a prayer,

  310. no matter what, we preach the word of God, unrelentlessly, uncompromisingly.

  311. You are the authority God at your time, at your space, The

  312. right people will come and you will grow this church. Are you all with

  313. me? We're not here to build a brand. We're not here to build

  314. even sometimes a legacy. No, we're here to build one thing, and

  315. that is the Church of God. Are you with me or not? Because

  316. it is only the Church of God that will continue on from generation to generation.

  317. It is not your marketing campaign, It is not your fantastic programs and

  318. events. It is one life at a time encountering Jesus Christ. So when

  319. you say God loves the world, you are saying that God, you will

  320. be the lord in this church, in your time, in your space,

  321. bringing home closer to all of you. I want to ask you do you

  322. have the ability to wait for something without getting angry or upset. I'm not

  323. talking about turning the red light to the green light in your traffic moment.

  324. I'm saying, are you willing to wait? Just like the disciples at the

  325. Upper Room, just wait until you are undire. We power from on high,

  326. and many times we can't because we cannot register that God is openly present.

  327. Do you know, right as a pastor, how many times, in

  328. different continents and different timing and different country I would text somebody and I want

  329. to tell you this craziest that's so many about Can. He is a businessman

  330. in Taiwan and he is on this stem cell research to board over a company

  331. in Korea. And then the deal went very very complicated and complex. Ken

  332. left us from Collective about five years ago. But time to time, when

  333. he comes back for Chinese New and all, we will have gathering. And

  334. then one day I just said, Can, I'm committed to pray for you.

  335. I'll just let you know that I am here backing for you. Then

  336. they're on. We don't catch up a lot, we don't talk a lot.

  337. But for five times that I texted Can and I said, I just

  338. sense that you are going through a hardship and I just want to pray for

  339. you. For the five times in the span of that four or five years,

  340. every time I texted him right he landed on the airport in in Jhon.

  341. He said, it is getting scary. Pastor Keith, I didn't ever

  342. tell you where I'm going. I say, it's not about me, It

  343. is about God being with you. Don't underestimate your prayer when God drop a

  344. name, when you're in a gem, you know, I say, Okay,

  345. you know what VJ. I'm praying for you. You know, I

  346. know you need peace. Sometimes I just I just I just call somebody.

  347. I say, hey, what you're doing? What you call me? This

  348. sign? Usually don't call me. No, I just sense I need to

  349. talk to you. Man, damn scary man. I don't know man like

  350. thank you for calling anyway, It means a lot. You just need to

  351. know that God is openly present. You don't need to come to church to

  352. experience God. He is everywhere. And finally, you should know where I'm

  353. going. Right after John chapter four is John chapter five, where Jesus healed

  354. and valid men at Joint chapter five. It is a story of this man

  355. that has been laid there in valid for how many years? Thirty eight years?

  356. You know, one who was there had been in valid. You know,

  357. the word in valid is very strong. You know how sometimes in social

  358. media they just label you in valid, and they just label you and you

  359. are done, you know, in valid for thirty eight years. When Jesus

  360. saw him lying there and learned that he had been there in this condition for

  361. a long time, he asked, do you want to get well? And

  362. this is funny, but a lot of people come to me with marriage counseling.

  363. Right then, I ask them, so you want to say your marriage.

  364. They will tell me, I don't know exactly true or not. I

  365. don't know. I don't know. I would I would think that they would

  366. say, yes, pasta help me. No, they said, I don't

  367. know, I say he So a lot of people come to me. I

  368. said, hey, past I'm spiritually dry and really I'm very far from God.

  369. So you want to be back on fire? I don't know. I

  370. don't know. So I haven't been serving for a long time. I really

  371. feel that I'm getting further and further away from the church and the community.

  372. So you want to come back to cig or you want to come back to

  373. collect grow a life group or whatever you call it here, I don't know.

  374. So it's the same. He has been lying there for the eight years

  375. and joined the attention of being the invalid person. That everyone will past,

  376. I said, And everybody will past, then, he says, Sir,

  377. the invalid replied, I have no no one to help me into the pool.

  378. When the water is being set, while I'm trying to get in,

  379. someone else goes down here of me. Haven't we heard this? Haven't we

  380. heard this? You don't You don't do well or not? Every time I'll

  381. do something, someone cut me. Every time I want to serve godder.

  382. My wife will fight with me every time. Every time I want to go

  383. for a promotioner, my boss hires somebody else. Every time I want to

  384. go for this competitioner, my teacher favor another person. Every time I want

  385. to do this, someone will come, someone will cut me. You are

  386. victimizing yourself. So God is asking you today this simple question, do you

  387. want to get well or not? Because he is openly potent, he can

  388. do it. So do you have the courage to say yes or not?

  389. I think a lot of people they're not. I say God is going to

  390. move in generations. Are you all ready or not? Wow? That means

  391. many nights of serving again? Or you mean when we outgrow this place,

  392. we need to have a building fund. You mean I need to give again?

  393. You know what I'm talking about. Do you want to be a good

  394. father or not? That means you're going to replace all his screen time with

  395. you talking to him? You ready? The only could be a good mom?

  396. Do you want? Do you want to get healthy enough? That means

  397. for going all the banana leaf rice? Oh, no more sweet drinks for

  398. the rest of you tree, nothing sweet normal boba? Do you want to

  399. know? I can say God is all powerful, guys, God is able,

  400. but he laid there for thirty eight years giving excuse us? How lie

  401. everybody cut me? No, God says, I can't. Do you want?

  402. So when God's when God answered my mid life crisis? Right I was

  403. when I was turning forty. I thank God. I'm this like lion in

  404. the church and all I think Monday onwards I felt like a cat, like

  405. up like don't know, don't know where to go on Monday. You know

  406. all pastors got depression on Monday. Suddenly we are nobody here. I just

  407. can I be honest with you or not? We'll nobody will hide in the

  408. room. And oh, anyone reposts our message on it's sad. And I

  409. said, God, I don't leave like that. Why everyone is. I

  410. just encourage him on Sunday not to have Monday blue. And I'm the most

  411. blue, you know, like man, And I said, God, I

  412. want to know if I have value or not. And I humble myself.

  413. Go for training for free, talk to people, reintroduce myself. I remember

  414. I was in this digital marketing company. I was telling Stephanie and then this

  415. guy that is a regional director from India come and they said, I stop

  416. you. What is a pastor doing in my office? I was shocked,

  417. like you checking out? I said, oh, just trying to add value.

  418. You're trying to be funny here. I said, no, man,

  419. nothing funny. I'm just here to add value. Okay, go and do

  420. your job. He sat at the back like an evaluator at forty years old.

  421. I'm thinking, like man, I thought, I've done all this interview

  422. and everything about life was just writing notes and all. At the end of

  423. the day he came. He said, you know what, young men,

  424. whatever you're doing, keep it up, keep this passion even when you are

  425. successful. I hope you really today. What I sense is you wanted it

  426. more for them than for yourselves. If you can keep this, you will

  427. go places. I was shocked. I said, thank you, sir.

  428. It's way older than me, way more senior than me. I took it

  429. with as a compliment, and I told God, God, I just want

  430. to continue to serve you Monday to Sunday, no matter where I am.

  431. God is able. So ever since then He has opened up many doors for

  432. me, many many doors. But do you want it or not? Do

  433. you want to get well? Do you want your marriage to be healed?

  434. Do you want your finances to get better? Do you want your health to

  435. be in shape? Again? Do you actually want it or not? Guys,

  436. I think you cannot cannot answer me confidently because you cannot really register that

  437. God is all powerful who today we learn at one night when when when Jesus

  438. went to Nicodemus, a religious leader, and said God loves the world,

  439. that he gave his only begoden son, that whoever believes in him should not

  440. perish but have eternal life. God demonstrated that love back to back. In

  441. a quick sequence of action, he went to the Samaritan woman. He healed

  442. the official son, He healed the invalid. But are you willing to recognize

  443. that this is the kind of love that you're going to bring outside of this

  444. church after this service or not? Would you dare to pray for somebody and

  445. say, you know what? God knows everything. Maybe someone is struggling with

  446. masturbation pornography. Are you are you? Are you willing to just say that

  447. No, what you say is quite true. I struggle with that as well.

  448. When I was younger. I was just telling someone today, there's a

  449. couple three company owners came to my office. Funny thing is one of them

  450. is a pastor's kid that has never gone to church for many years already.

  451. Another one used to go to church but no longer. They came in.

  452. They know I'm a pastor. Immediately they say things about Christianity and all.

  453. Then I surprised them because one of them likes to keep fish. I say

  454. you, Noah, When I was younger, I was so poor, I

  455. love to steal fish. He got shot. Yeah, man teg team with

  456. my friend. One will buy a bottle of chlorine. One ring git go

  457. and talk to the uncle forever. I at the back, scoop all the

  458. fish into my scoop my fish into my umbro back, and that I'll bring

  459. the fish is the parrot fish that's caused twelve ringgit I would sell to my

  460. friend at Trey Ringit. I came from a poor family and I wasn't a

  461. Christian. They got shocked that why do you talk to me like that?

  462. I said, because I'm not here to maintain an image of a pastor.

  463. I'm just here to tell you I'm just like you all with all God,

  464. I am lost. And many of the times when people come to me and

  465. say, Keith, you don't know my background. You don't know how terrible

  466. my marriage is. You don't know how much I have done in my previous

  467. job. You don't know what kind of life style I used to live.

  468. I want to tell you again and again and again. Now I'm walking with

  469. three gentlemen that cheated on their wives many times. They have been cheating again

  470. and again and again. But they will ask me out for meals again and

  471. again and again. Why they too want to encounter God? And by the

  472. grace of God, I just want to say this tree man has since been

  473. clean and been faithful to their wives. And let's give God a praise because

  474. they will not imagine. But where do I meet them, all three of

  475. them? Not in church? No way they will walk into church. It

  476. was after corporate and people stop you. I can see that in social media.

  477. You preach on weekend. I said, yeah, I'm also a pastor.

  478. So they begin to open up. Got one guy, I have so

  479. many fust testimony. Got one guy and it invited me to a rotary club.

  480. Then I go there and look at all the people, like, man,

  481. you guys are double my age, and all of you are worth so

  482. much money. Where am I here? Why am I here on a rotary

  483. club to talk to you about what? True? Enough? After I e

  484. speak right finish? Really, you know what they did to me? A

  485. lot of that though it's a lot of people, and said, good job,

  486. keep it up. I know I didn't do well. What can I

  487. give back? On that day itself? Someone stood beside me and said,

  488. you know what. For three months, I have downing a half a bottle

  489. of whiskey. Otherwise I cannot sleep. I have been suicidal. And then

  490. I remember when I was young, my mom brought me to church before.

  491. I hold the Bible in my living room, my mom's Bible, and said,

  492. only you can help me if you are real, reveal yourself to me.

  493. There was Sunday night and Monday night a pastor sat beside him, and

  494. he took it as a sign from God. And then he began to say,

  495. I think God sent you to talk to me. I said, if

  496. you think so, tell me. I've been sleeping with my gym instructor.

  497. That's why you told me. And my wife found out. And my wife

  498. sent to all my partners and all my colleagues and everybody. Two hundred and

  499. fifty contacts sent out every detail of what I have done with pictures to destroy

  500. me and sue me for one million, and I have no more hope.

  501. You know what, Being in a rotary club is not about my talk.

  502. It is about just there being with this guy. He gave his heart to

  503. Jesus. Today he rebuilt his life and he began to be a Bible believing,

  504. spirit filled Christian again. If God don't send you, who would he

  505. send? For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son,

  506. and we as children are also sent to be like Christ. If we met

  507. as Samaritan woman, tell her God knows everything and God still choose you.

  508. If you know of someone that's worrying about their parents in hometown, tell them

  509. your prayer will work even though you are not there. If someone is worrying

  510. about their young children overseas in college, whether they will do well or not

  511. do well. They have no more control over their kids, tell them you'll

  512. pray. God will work. If someone has been giving excuse us and invalid

  513. for thirty eight years, tell them do you want to get well or not?

  514. Because God can do it? Can I have an Amen? Generations,

  515. this is a church that will display the love of God. Amen. We

  516. are not here to play games. We're not here as a reaction to what

  517. of our past, herd or whatever that don't need Get here and remember spread
