  1. Hey, this is NDEO The Past of Genestion Church and this is a podcast.

  2. Thanks for tuning in. I hope that this message encourages and inspires you

  3. in your work with God and your journey of faith. Enjoy the message.

  4. God bless since this Christmas season. Let me talk a little bit about Christmas

  5. and the title. Today's message is simply this some sea God, but don't

  6. seek God. Some sea God, but don't seek God. I want to

  7. talk about the difference between seeing and seeking. Amen. Okay, how many

  8. of you loved Christmas shopping? Nobody else? I know? I know you

  9. don't like Christmas shopping because you have to spend money. Ah, you like

  10. other people to go Christmas shopping and buy gifts for you? Yes, okay,

  11. I think I understand because I do like Christmas shopping. But I want

  12. to be more specific. I like Christmas window shopping. Like I like to

  13. go and see all the stuff that I could buy or I may buy,

  14. but I wouldn't buy because I can't off the window shopping. All right?

  15. Have many you like to go window shopping? Elist Let's go around and see

  16. all the little little nice things that they put out, all the nice packages

  17. you know that you don't get any other time, but except Christmas. You

  18. know there's good deals, discounts, all these packages together. Windows shopping.

  19. Okay, many of us during this Christmas season. Okay, so it's so

  20. busy, right, so packed, traffic jam, can't find parking, all

  21. the mons are super packed in this period. But yeah, a lot of

  22. us go windows shopping. Elist Okay, if you don't actually shop, we

  23. go window shopping. The thing about windows shopping is windows shopping don't actually result

  24. in gifts and actual gifts. You don't actually buy anything. You don't actually

  25. bring home anything. You just see. You just look out. You just

  26. going through the store. You see what's there. You actually anything, you

  27. know, maybe you dream, you dream about owning that high five system or

  28. or own that car or whatever. Window shopping. So the thing about just

  29. looking and just seeing all these gifts is you don't actually get the gives and

  30. own it. Let's turn to the Bible now, second Chronicles. The seven

  31. ver was fourteen. The Bible says, here, if my people who are

  32. called by my name will humble themselves, so we who are we who have

  33. been called by the name of God, We who have been marked by Jesus,

  34. all those of us who are saved. The Bible says, if we

  35. are to humble ourselves, if you will humble ourselves and pray and seek my

  36. face, the Bible says, not just see his face, but seek his

  37. face and turn from their wicked race. Then the Lord says, I will

  38. hear from heaven and will forgive they are sein and heal their land. Amen.

  39. There is a promise that if he would seek God, if you would

  40. humble ourselves and seek God, not just come to see him, not just

  41. come to church and watch a show, or the next week there will be

  42. a show. But it's more than just a show. And every week when

  43. we come, we'll not to see her to be entertained, just watch something

  44. happen. But God says, if you, if you will seek my face,

  45. there is a promise. I will perform miracles, I will blessed,

  46. and I will heal, I will forgive, and I will I will do

  47. all these wonderful things. You know, God, our God is longingly.

  48. He longs for us, and he longingly calls those who belong to him,

  49. and that's all of us. A man, my people, my people.

  50. He claims ownership. There he didn't just say people. He says, if

  51. my people, those who belong to me, if they will seek me.

  52. Somebody says, seek God. Amen. The Bible says, those who seek

  53. him will find him. Those who seek him will find him. It is

  54. not possible for those of us who humble ourselves and seek God and not find

  55. him. Amen. Those of us who seek him will find him. God's

  56. promises that. Probabs eight, verse seventeen says the Bible God says, I

  57. love those who love me, and those who seek me diligiently will find me

  58. will find me. Those who diligiently seek me will find me. It is

  59. a guarantee, it is a will happen. If you seek God diligently,

  60. you will find him. So the distinction here is is, have we come

  61. just to see God and watch him perform miracles and watch him touch someone's life

  62. and watch him move in some place, or have we come to seek Him

  63. and seek him diligently. Is it possible that for those of us who just

  64. come to see Him, that's the reason why we don't find God? Then,

  65. and then those of us who diligately seek after God find him. Matthew

  66. seven verse six to eleven says is ask and it will be given to you.

  67. Seek and you will find. Knock and it will be open to you.

  68. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, And to

  69. him who knocks it will be open. For what man is there among you,

  70. who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?

  71. Which father here will do that? Or if he asks for a fish,

  72. will he give him a snake, a serpent, a bython, and

  73. a conda. No. If you, then, God says say, if

  74. you human being, being evil, even you know how to give, God

  75. gives to your children, how much more will your father, who is in

  76. heaven, who is ultimately good, there's no bad and evil in him,

  77. how much more will he give good things to those who ask him? Why

  78. would this God, who is so good hide himself from you if you do

  79. seek him? Amen? Some see God but don't seek God. I want

  80. to encourage us today to not just be see us, but seek us.

  81. Not just come to church to watch, but come to church to wait upon

  82. him and seek God and learn what it means to seek him. Because those

  83. who diligently seek him, the Bible says, will find him, will encounter

  84. god Zion and I growing up. He loves to play this game. And

  85. I mean, I don't know those who you have kids or have seen kids

  86. before, you know he would he knows I'm coming up to the room,

  87. and he will actually say, daddy, way of course, so I know

  88. he's up there, Daddy wait, Okay, I'm gonna hide, and he'll

  89. go jam on the our bed, our master bedroom bit and then he'll go

  90. You'll find this big blanket and he'll crawl under it and then he'll say,

  91. okay, Daddy, come find me. Like, guys, hello, you

  92. know where he is, right? We all can hear him. We can

  93. see the bouch on the baby like we know he's there. But it's fun

  94. for him because it's all about the fun. It's about like, oh,

  95. I'm hiding in here, Daddy can't see me. You know he's there.

  96. He's meant to be found. And then as daddy's and mummies, we all

  97. pretend're like, oh, I wonder where are you? Oh not our feet

  98. on the bed, oh ouch ouch ouse, malaysaid Liana, and then they

  99. find it so fun. They're like he they're laughing under the blanket. And

  100. then you'll finally I wonder what's here, what's his bouts over here? And

  101. then I will usually just charm and land on him bum and he'll be loughing.

  102. Then he can't find me, like you're right there. And after a

  103. while, you know, when I get bored, I'll be like I just

  104. opened up the blank Ah, there you are. Then he found me and

  105. it's so fun, and then he does it all over okay, daddy again.

  106. I mean it's like this kind of I feel like we being got children

  107. and God is playing that game with us. He's like he's not really hiding.

  108. It's meant to be found. He's like he makes it so obvious,

  109. like I'm right here, Come seek me. It's not the kind of heart

  110. and seek where God hides somewhere and you cannot find him. Like if God

  111. wanted you to not find him, he'll be very easy. He wanting to

  112. do that. He'll just go through like one of the multi million universe and

  113. hide himself there somewhere and you can't find him. No, no, no,

  114. Our God is playing the same kind and I used playing loosely obviously right

  115. the same blanket hiring sik game, Like he's right there, He's way bigger

  116. than Zion. He's like if he has in the blanket, you're like boom,

  117. okay. That God's right there. And he said, he's saying,

  118. come find me. I'm meant to be found. You will find me.

  119. All you have to do is take those steps, comestairs, open the door,

  120. look around. I'm right there. Amen. God calls us. In

  121. fact, he commands, and someone say command. You know what a command

  122. is. Right. He's not suggesting. He's not giving a good advice.

  123. He's not just saying, ah, if you can. He commands. He

  124. commands us to seek him. He's not like Zian. Okay, then he

  125. come for me. He's like, come find me every Saturday, every Sunday,

  126. every day when you wake up, come find me. Tillgiently seek me.

  127. God commands us to seek him. You know why. You know why

  128. God commands anytime you remember the time he said don't worry. Why He knows

  129. we will worry. He knows we will worry, so he says, ah,

  130. before you do it, let me tell you first. Don't worry.

  131. Don't worry about tomorrow or tomorrow, worry about yourself a man. Every time

  132. God gives a command, especially when he says, do not. He knows

  133. we will. That's why he says, do not to remind us and guess

  134. what he says. What he says, diligently seek me. Why he knows

  135. we will go around seeking something else? Always? Always, The answer is

  136. right in front of our eyes and our face, and ander our knows us

  137. true satisfaction. Fulfillment can only be found in God. We know this,

  138. We know this, but yet we seek so many other alternatives to try to

  139. find the fulfillment their satisfaction, and it never works. But we do it

  140. anyway. Why because we have fallen human beings in need of God's grace a

  141. man. So God says to us, seek me, come find me,

  142. because he knows we'll go looking for something in someone else, left to ourselves.

  143. We always do that, yes or no. It's like, you know,

  144. letting a child lose in the grocery store. He's not gonna go by,

  145. He's not gonna go and buy broccoli. Okay, are you're hungry?

  146. Right, go find food. You think he's gonna find bccoli and carrots.

  147. No, he's gonna go straight to the candy section, gonna go straight to

  148. this afternoon, I went downstairs, I came downstairs. I see my daughter

  149. in the living room with a bag of chips. She went to the fresh

  150. and took herself. She's just eating chips. But the fridge has broccoli and

  151. carrots and pasta. Even there's milk there. But oh, I'm hungry,

  152. so I eat chips. Yeah. God knows this. God knows when he

  153. lets you loose in this grocery store of the world. You're not gonna go

  154. looking for broccoli. You're gonna go look for sour cream. Way, what

  155. is vegetable? Nos pour cream? Potato chips? Right, potato is a

  156. vegetable. God, yes, sure, So he tells us not to worry

  157. because people will worry. He tells us to seek God, seek me,

  158. because he knows we will seek other things past. You're stalling, obvious,

  159. Sorry, yes I am. God does it to all the time because we

  160. need a reminder. Back to Christmas shopping. I don't really like Christmas shopping

  161. because it's always so crowded. Actually, you know, they make a look

  162. at a discount, but they probably change the price like just before and tell

  163. you they drop the prize. But you know, you know, you know

  164. all these marketing tricks. So I don't know. I guess stressed out mainly

  165. because I don't know what to buy for that person. I don't know if

  166. another person will like it hate it. I don't know. But in my

  167. years of windows shopping and actual shopping, I learn a few things. When

  168. you look for a gift. There are three things I think you need to

  169. do. Let's see if you agree. Yeah, three things when looking for

  170. a gift. When you seek for a gift, So I'm not just doing

  171. windows shopping now, yeah, We're actually going to get it, gonna get

  172. this gift. We go seek for the gift. There are three things.

  173. Number one, see if you're a great. Number one is budget. You've

  174. got to know your budget. Right you can just go there and say I

  175. wanna buy whatever. Budget doesn't matter, you know, go to some comepay

  176. with a tesla. Whoah. I also like that you can, but it's

  177. not as simple, right ah. You gonna have a budget. You gotta

  178. ask yourself what is the price that I'm willing to pay? Same is with

  179. you seeking God? What is your budget this gift of getting God? You

  180. know? Polses Paul says, all my accolades, all my achievement, my

  181. certificates, my medals. My trophy is my my tantri, all my time,

  182. all that. You know what? He actually used the word done another

  183. way for pool, another way for I can't say he said all these things

  184. compared to gaining God, all those things are done. It's like poop.

  185. It's a trash to me. The real gift for me, Paul says,

  186. is to know Him, to find him. That's the gift. See God,

  187. So what is the price that you and I are willing to pay?

  188. When you go shopping? You need to know, Okay, I'm willing to

  189. pay this much for a gift for this person. I can't spend above that

  190. because I don't have the budget for it. How about God? When it

  191. comes to seeking God, what is the price that you and I are willing

  192. to pay? What's a budget? Imagine God having a budget when he died

  193. for you. You know what, eight billion people? I can only die

  194. for seven billion of them. You better holp you one one billion right now?

  195. God, God knew the price he was willing to pay. He was

  196. willing to give his own life, He was willing to give everything for you.

  197. That was the price he was willing to pay to get you this gift.

  198. Now, way, flip around and ask ourselves what is the price that

  199. I A'm willing to pay to seek God. It can be something simple like

  200. waking up a little bit earlier, second frightened sleep to seek God. To

  201. something much bigger I don't know, an entire change of career so that I

  202. have more time to go on missions for something that something big, something small,

  203. doesn't matter. But what is your budget? Number two? Is this?

  204. You gotta mean what's the need? And what's a want? When you

  205. buy gifts? We all say we need an iPhone fifteen Promax? We need

  206. it? Sure? Is that really a want or a need? Right?

  207. Oh? I need a Tesla? I need a Tesla. Grap can get

  208. you there too, right, and I can get you there too. So

  209. do you really need or is it a want? Simple but makes all the

  210. difference, Yes, what's the need? What's the one? When you want

  211. to buy a gift for somebody, Like if I'm buying a gift for my

  212. wife, I gotta know what does she want? What does she need?

  213. Do you know what you need? And how much? Do you want what

  214. you need? Or do you just want what you want? It comes to

  215. seeking God, we have to differentiate what's a want and what's the need?

  216. Amen, maybe you want it now, but God says what you need is

  217. wait. That's the difference when it comes to seeking God. God makes the

  218. distinction between what you want and what you and God really gives you what you

  219. want. If God gives you what you want is actually a dangerous thing.

  220. Every time God gives people what they want in the Bible, it never where

  221. it really ends up. Well read the Bible. But God gives us what

  222. we need, even if that's not what we want. Matthew six thirty three

  223. says this seek first. It's going to seek something sick first, the kingdom

  224. of God and his righteousness. This is above your career, above your wealth,

  225. above your health, even maybe above your own happiness, above everything.

  226. God says, sick first, the Kingdom of God and his righteousness his standard.

  227. Basically, because what is right what is wrong? Only God determines that.

  228. So when he says seek my kingdom verse and my righteousness. God is

  229. saying seek my standard, my standard for success, my standard for achievement,

  230. my standard for career, my standard for everything. God say, seek me

  231. first and my righteousness, and all these things. Just before this scripture we

  232. were talking about what shall I wear, what shall I eat? All these

  233. things? God says it shall be added to you. But first things first.

  234. Amen. So as this year comes to an end and you're about to

  235. start a new year, can we make a least? Can we really determine

  236. what is it that we just want? But what are the things that we

  237. need? God knows what we need. Maybe you don't need another hobby,

  238. Maybe you don't need more sleep. I don't know. Maybe this is what

  239. you want. Maybe you don't need more money. Maybe this is what you

  240. want. But I think the key, the ability to able to be able

  241. to distinct between need and want, makes a whole lot of difference. So

  242. when you want to buy a give you okay, what's the person willing to

  243. pay? Then you narrow down that right, So you can't go to Gucci,

  244. So you go to Vince. You don't waste timeline, go shoot to

  245. the floor, save two time. Then you're like, okay, what's you

  246. need? What's the one? Okay, she don't need another pear of shoe

  247. cause she's got like five hundred. But I notice she don't have a bag.

  248. Looks like looking for back at that right. So that's the third thing.

  249. You narrow down. You short lists, not shoes, not bell,

  250. not dress, not scar not shots, not socks, not bad You narrow

  251. down. Then you buy otherwise have to buy. You know, we get

  252. so overwhelmed what to buy? Let is hopping most so big, Everything looks

  253. nice, so you have to deduce, reduce, and then you focus in

  254. on what's really needed. Yes, shopping shopping tips that this is us how

  255. to seek God. You have a budget, distinct distinguished between need and want,

  256. and then you narrow down. James Forbus It says this draw near to

  257. God, and he will draw near to you. The idea is you should

  258. start narrowing down into what's really important and what's most important. Those of us

  259. who live longer, we get better at this. We start to narrow down,

  260. and we to realize what's really important and what's not so important. The

  261. Bible says, if you draw near to God, he will draw near to

  262. you. Amen. I pray the next time you go shopping you remember all

  263. this. It's just seeking for a gift. I pray you remember seek God

  264. and it should lead you to a place where you know. You narrow down,

  265. You say, you know what at the end of the day, God

  266. is most important of all the relationships I can build. This is the most

  267. important of all the things I can spend my time on. This is most

  268. important. So that's why you should sell us time for God first, then

  269. everything else. We tend to do it the other way around. Yes,

  270. let's be honest. We tend to schedule our meetings, our homework time,

  271. whatever it is that we excuse everything else, and then the leftovers He the

  272. God, because God understands. Now, it's not about God understand He understands.

  273. The thing is, it's the attitude that we bring into seeking God.

  274. Drawn here to God, and he will drawn here to you. He is

  275. the most important relationship. He's the most important person you need to spend time

  276. with. He's the one who deserves your best, honor, your best focus.

  277. He deserves our best, not just our all the rest. Amen.

  278. Give God what's right, not what's left. So budget need versus want narrow

  279. down whatever it is. It should lead you to a place where God becomes

  280. most important, most focal, most forefront. Amen. So let's end with

  281. this. How do How does God want us to seek him? How does

  282. he want us to seek him? He wants us to seek him. You

  283. know that right that's established determine. It's clear God wants. But how Jeremiah

  284. to nine, verse thirteen says this, you will seek me and find me

  285. when you seek me with all your heart. You will seek me, you

  286. will find me. But there's a little condition when you do it with all

  287. of your heart. How much of your heart? All of your heart.

  288. So looks like it's got to do with our heart. You see, we

  289. can fool anyone around us. You can sing loudest and we all assume you're

  290. most passionate about God. Yeah, you can leave your hand the highest and

  291. we all assume that, Ah, you're closer to God because you can read

  292. so high. But God sees through all of that and sees your heart.

  293. So you can fool everyone else, can't fool God. You will seek me

  294. and find me when you seek me with all your heart. James four,

  295. verse five to eight says this, Or do you think that the scripture says

  296. in vain, the spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously. Have you ever

  297. heard this term before? That God is a jealous god. He wants you

  298. all to himself. Well, he is a possessive one, yeah is,

  299. But he gets to do that. Why he paid with his blood for you.

  300. Of Course he owns you. Of course he possesses you. He's your

  301. God. So he is jealous. The spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously,

  302. but he gives more grace, the Bible says. Therefore, he says,

  303. God resists the proud. He resists the proud, but gives grace to

  304. the humble. Therefore, submit to God resists the devil, and he will

  305. flee from you. Draw near to God. Oh, it looks like you

  306. can't just draw near to God. You gotta also, he's a push and

  307. pull. Friends, It's not gonna be like, Okay, you know what,

  308. I'm gonna love God more and then everything's gonna be easy for you.

  309. The moment you decide I'm gonna seek God, I'm gonna love him more,

  310. I'm gonna make him a party, that's where the temptations and the challenges come.

  311. Yes, the moment you say I'm gonna be faithful, that's when the

  312. test comes. Because how will you know you're faithful unless you are tested or

  313. tempted to be unfaithful? How do you know that you can be honest unless

  314. there's a test or a challenge to be this honest sin. You pass the

  315. test and you know, yeah, I am truly indeed, honest, faithful,

  316. loving kind Amen. The test will come. There's it's a push and

  317. pull. You submit to God while you're resisting the devil. And at the

  318. same time the Bible says, therefore, somebody to God, resists the devil,

  319. and he will flee from you. Drawn near to God, and he

  320. will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify

  321. your hearts. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with

  322. all of your heart. But not just any heart. God doesn't want to

  323. bad heart. He asks to purify our hearts. You double minded when God

  324. says purify your hearts. Here it's not just okay, no more dirty word,

  325. no more dirty movies, no more dirty songs or the songs with the

  326. either explicit okay, don't listen anymore. Not just that. That's all small

  327. parts of it. Terrify your husbands. You cannot be double minded. You

  328. cannot like, I want God, but I also wonder the world. I

  329. want to seek him, but I also need some time for all my kid

  330. dramas and no time. But God, you can't be double minded. That's

  331. not pure. That's like every lover couple knows this. It's like going on

  332. a date but thinking about somebody else ha res or bring on a date,

  333. not just thinking about first Let's go home and watch my drama. You're just

  334. you're not really there. So God says, purify your hearts. You can't

  335. be double minded. You can't want me and something else. So we know

  336. this, How does God wants to seek him? We all of our heart,

  337. But the heart has to be in a good condition. What condition has

  338. to be? Does they have to be in in a purified condition? What

  339. is a purified condition? Not double minded? Not one but the one,

  340. No one but the one. I won't God, but I also want me.

  341. I want God to bless me, but I also wanted my way.

  342. You cannot do that. That's not pure. But I never say bout what

  343. are and no, no, no, yeah, I know, I know,

  344. good person. Didn't all the commanments I've kept from my youth, and

  345. God still says you still miss something. This is the same passion that he

  346. says. You cannot serve God and mammon, can't You can't have two masters.

  347. Looks like the region ruler had two masters. That's why he couldn't set

  348. Though. Every Christian here wants to please God. I know that every Christian

  349. here wants to glorify God. Our problem is never that. I don't think

  350. your problem ever is, Oh, you don't love God. Lie, you

  351. don't to honor him. I don't think that's the problem. Now we all

  352. want to honor which person the right mind? I want to say, I

  353. want to know what today? I want the purpose got kick gotta make him

  354. angrier? Purposely? No one does that? Lie you there? No,

  355. our issue is never that. Our issues usually I want God, but I

  356. also it's way more innocent than I purposely want to kick goner. No,

  357. it's just I want God, but I also want me. I want my

  358. space, I want my way. I want go to show up. I

  359. want him to show up when I want him to show up the way you

  360. show up. I want to marry a right person. But the right person

  361. that I choose, she's always dead. You will seek me, and you

  362. will find me when you seek me with all your heart. What kind of

  363. heart? Purified? Not double minded heart, a single minded heart. God

  364. is first, always all the time. Amen. So let's talk about some

  365. kind of hearts, kind of heart that God doesn't want, and that kind

  366. of heart that God one's number one, God does not want, a haughty

  367. heart. I know I'm a haughty I don't mean that. No, h

  368. T T I E haughty. Hoty means prideful, prideful, a heart that

  369. is filled with self, not just action. Ha ha. I'm bigger than

  370. God. Again, you're a Christians, most of you know what is gonna

  371. dead to God and say, you know what, I'm bigger and you are

  372. smarter than you are greater, and you know one does that. A lot

  373. of these so called scenes are a bit more subtle and slyer, and that

  374. it slips into our psyche without us knowing. Pride is spacially when you don't

  375. pray. When you face a problem and you don't pray, Do you know

  376. that's pride because you're implying I don't need God. I can handle this by

  377. myself, because praying is basically saying I need God. Not praying is therefore

  378. implying I don't need you. Huh got angry, ha ha? Got some

  379. So some of your thoughts not just kidding. When you don't pray, it

  380. is subting like that friends. You think I was talking about you. Ah,

  381. No, we don't do that. We do more innocent things like forget

  382. to pray, don't read the Bible. I want, I want self.

  383. I will just nah. God doesn't want a haughty heart. God wants a

  384. humble heart. In other words, you will seek me and you will find

  385. me when you seek me with all of your humble heart, not prideful heart.

  386. God reads the proud, but he gives grace to the humble. What

  387. is humble not the Asian humble? Well, you're so pretty lie today?

  388. Nilas today I can make up well, nice dress away alamanna. We always

  389. downplay the value ourselves as I don't know why. Somebody told us that you

  390. know, if you place yourself then you won't work, so you better why

  391. yourself stupid? I don't know. I grew up before. No, no,

  392. very the one always discounting meth very good? Yeah, me very good.

  393. But geography, sign, virology, everything horrible? Are you? No,

  394. there's no humility interesting. The word humble comes from the word humous,

  395. which is the same root word as earth and ground, which is what we

  396. are made of. Human beings are made from the earth and soil of the

  397. ground. I guess why we are called human. Same word Hohomus is earth

  398. and ground. That's what we're called human because we're made from the earth of

  399. the ground. Humility is the same root word. What is humility is being

  400. human, not down players, not like like I bought all. I cannot,

  401. I cannot make no no, it's you know what. I'm human.

  402. I am just flesh and bones. I am a man, a woman.

  403. I'm not God. I need God. I need God in my life.

  404. I cannot live a second without God. That's not this, That's not how

  405. this life is designed. I am human. Humility is recognizing I'm just a

  406. man. I'm just a man. I have weaknesses, I have limitations.

  407. Without God's grace, I cannot make it. I need God, so I

  408. cannot for a moment think I can do anything without Him. Amen. You

  409. will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your humble

  410. heart, a humble heart. Amen. Next is God does not want a

  411. hateful heart or a bitter heart. A heart is filled with bitterness and hate

  412. that separates us from God, that puts a wedge between us and God when

  413. we come to him, and it's full of hate and bitterness and complaints and

  414. murmur. No, God wants a honest, a holy heart. Again,

  415. When I say holy, I don't just mean like squeaky clean. Holy is

  416. set for purpose. Honest means God, this is who I am. There's

  417. bitterness, there's hurt, there's pain, But here I am. I'm not

  418. hiding. God, will you help me deal with this? Pros eighteen.

  419. Pros eight or seventeen says I love those who love me, and those who

  420. seek me diligiently will find me. Let me see if you search for me

  421. and seek me honestly, honestly. Last week we spoke about Lord. Two

  422. weeks ago we spoke a transparency, naked and not a shame. That's how

  423. God wants us to be. No point hiding. So if there's beelin us,

  424. if there's hurt, there's pain, there's grumble, that's complain, bring

  425. it before God and ask God to deal with it. Amen. Third one

  426. is a heavy heart. God does not want us to seek him with a

  427. heavy heart, but he wants us to seek him with a hungry heart.

  428. And this is a this is a picture thing. A hungry heart is a

  429. heart that's empty. You're hungry. A heavy heart is a heart that's fool

  430. but full of everything else except God. Amen. Not a heavy heart,

  431. but a hungry heart. That means a heart that is empty of your stuff,

  432. empty of betternness, empty of selfishness, empty of greed, empty of

  433. everything out that is not of Him. Because when you have those things it's

  434. heavy. But God once say, hungry heart, a heart that wants seem

  435. more every week, more every month, more of God, every year,

  436. more of God. Amen. Men through six thirty three, seek first the

  437. Kingdom of God and His righteousness, above career, above your hobbies, above

  438. your ones. Hey, I know I'm stating the obvious, but obvious needs

  439. to be stated. Sick first, and then all these things will be added

  440. to you. Come before Him with a hungry heart, a heart that wants

  441. more of Him. Amen. Last one, you cannot come to God with

  442. half your heart, but your whole heart. You will seek me and find

  443. Me when you seek Me with all your heart. No double mindedness. I

  444. know it's not. It's easy to preach, very hard to live. I

  445. preach it. You can agree, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah see

  446. God. First we get out here, we go to work, we go

  447. back home, we go to school, we go back to our lives and

  448. it gets lopsided again. We can't. God has to be most important every

  449. decision, every choice, every business decision, every investment decision, every relationship

  450. decision, every action, everything God, because you will seek me and you'll

  451. find me when you seek me, all your heart, no double mindedness,

  452. no half heartness, all for God's glory. It's simple yet difficult. Simple.

  453. Ask yourself, is what I'm about to do glorifying to God? Is

  454. this decision I'm about to make glorifying to God? No? A lot of

  455. Christians like to argue about all the praifhery stuff like, for example, things

  456. like ah, Christian should get a tatto anora. We can argue that for

  457. centuries when all you have to do is ask yourself, if I do this,

  458. will you glorify God? If it will, then do it, no

  459. doubt, No doublet my nurse. This is not the issue. Should I

  460. listen to rock music or I grew up as a young person. Every week

  461. in church I hear pressure kis from the devil drum for you know, remember

  462. not the drum for four beat? Is the money for four beats? The

  463. money your heart gonna pummelt, you know, heart is pumping in the beat

  464. like one two for If that's what you can't live there for four people.

  465. I grew up in the environment. But hey, we missed the point.

  466. It's how I spend money glorifying to God. It's how I dress glorifying to

  467. God. He go by convictioner, It's how I spend my time glorifying to

  468. God. That the key is in answering the question is we don't know.

  469. I don't know. I feel like glorifying the God love. I don't know.

  470. Are you willing to hear a different opinion, to be challenged? Because

  471. if it's if it's a if it's a stand there's built on the foundation on

  472. the rock of Christ. It shouldn't be it should be able to be challenged

  473. and still stand. Right. You know that there's some things that will stand

  474. no matter why. Like telling the truth. It's gonna stand because it's a

  475. principle. So seek God with all your heart. Means what. There's no

  476. no hiding, no tweets and turn no double mindedness, no double standards.

  477. No I love God, but I also love me, and sometimes I love

  478. me more than God. There's none of that, And I think it's important

  479. as we come to the end of the year because oh, new Year's gonna

  480. come, new resolution. We're gonna write all days. It's good. Sometimes

  481. we laugh about it because I know, out of ten resolution were always only

  482. for a few half and then we knock it down. No, it's still

  483. good to do a spring clean in Generations. Here we're not here just to

  484. see God, here to seek God. Thanks for listening to this message.
