  1. Hey there, you're listening to the Generation's Church podcast. We

  2. pray that the word of God today will challenge, change

  3. and channel.

  4. You into your God given destiny. Now let's get started.

  5. Let's continue on the series of like, how are we

  6. going to allow God to make us new?

  7. Amen? A happy new you.

  8. The focus is not unhappy, because when not here this

  9. to be happy? I don't think god ultimate purpose of

  10. being God is to make us happy, but to make

  11. us purpose full and joyful. But I'm just using the

  12. word happy to mean blessed, to mean fulfilled.

  13. Amen.

  14. Okay, Okay, Please, I'm a boring preacher. I fall asleep

  15. at my own preaching, so please keep me awake by responding.

  16. Whether I say something good or bad, respond anyway.

  17. Is that cool? All right? So let's continue today.

  18. I'm gonna start this sort of message series called new eyes,

  19. new ears, new mouth. So to be a happy new you,

  20. you need to have new eyes, new ears.

  21. New mouth. Amen. Okay.

  22. So when we started Happy New You, we looked at

  23. Acts chapter sixteen, the story of Paul and Silas. So

  24. I'm just reading one verse out of the whole passage,

  25. So if you're interested, please read in context the story

  26. Okatain read from verse twenty two to thirty one. Let

  27. me summarize Paul and Silas being apostles and doing what

  28. they do. They basically set a slave girl free. There

  29. was a girl who became a slave to some sorcerer

  30. and she was used to kind of like tell fortunes

  31. and all that. But Paul and Silas cast demons out

  32. of her and she could no longer do it. So

  33. now she cannot bring income to her bosses, and her

  34. bosses became unhappy. Accused Pauland's somehow managed to get Paul

  35. and Silas thrown into not just prison, but the dungeon

  36. whipped Bruce beaten up Canna nicely for doing nothing wrong,

  37. for setting someone free. Follow the situation so far, So

  38. an innocent person doing something good is thrown into a

  39. very difficult, painful situation. Now, if you were in that situation, okay,

  40. you may react and response quite differently. Right, if someone

  41. takes something from you, store something from you, or if

  42. someone bad mouth of you, or someone slap you for

  43. no reason, what do you think the general.

  44. Reaction will be?

  45. Slap them back, you know, keyboard, worrying them back on

  46. Facebook or whatever.

  47. Right?

  48. So, It's very interesting what Paul and Silas did. Instead,

  49. instead of the usual fight back, scull back, wag back,

  50. they prayed and sang hymns to God, and the world

  51. around them were listening. They were watching, observing. So I

  52. just want to bring you attention as a Christian, especially

  53. as a Christian, the world around you is listening and watching. Yeah,

  54. how you deal with pain, how you deal with uh injustice,

  55. how you deal with whatever situation in your life. You're

  56. being watched, even if you don't realize it. And the

  57. world around Poland Silists were watching and listening and observing

  58. their response to a very unfair, difficult situation.

  59. Amen, and Poland Silence.

  60. Instead of the usual reactions, they prayed and worship God,

  61. and if you read on, we saw that as a

  62. result of that they were set free and the ultimately

  63. led to the prison Gods and his family's salvation.

  64. Amen.

  65. Okay, Which let me just pull it all together and

  66. say that's the post of our life. We are saved

  67. so that we can become a good sheaf to those

  68. who don't know Christ.

  69. Yet.

  70. Ultimately, how you do in your job, how you do

  71. in your marriage, how you do in your relationship, your friendship,

  72. your business, all of that. Hopefully it's so that you

  73. can shine a light and people will see the good

  74. works that you do for God and day to one

  75. to come to God, come to know Jesus, amen so,

  76. and a lot of things in the Bible, those details

  77. are not there by chance. At midnight, at midnight, midnight

  78. is that moment in the day where yesterday becomes today.

  79. Right midnight signifies a turn, a change. We are at

  80. the turn of a new year. We are and this

  81. is a time where most of you write down your resolutions.

  82. This is week number one, two three, How many you

  83. have broken some of em? Like we all have this

  84. new hope right happy knew you midnight midnight where things turn,

  85. where things change. Paul and Silas had a very different response.

  86. Instead of crying to themselves, there's a list of things

  87. that they did in stead, somebody say in state it's

  88. a very important word. That means that if you're got

  89. to be a happy new you, you gotta have an

  90. instead instead of having the attitude I would have this.

  91. Instead of look at things that way, I will look

  92. at things this way. They are saying that, I'll say

  93. this instead somebody sayings that so Instead of crying to themselves,

  94. they cry od to God. Instead of cursing, their prayed.

  95. Instead of worrying, they were worshiping. Instead of complaining, their praise,

  96. instead of feeling sorry for themselves. They become part of

  97. a bigger story, bigger than themselves.

  98. Amen.

  99. So there wasn't Instead. They could have cursed, but they prayed.

  100. They could have worried, but they worshiped. They could have

  101. done that, but they did this. That's what made them different.

  102. Amen? How how can I that? Are you bleeding?

  103. Bruce bunker Porta And in the situation in the Dungan

  104. sang hymns brow.

  105. Not even playing a boom? Did you sing this this?

  106. Modern eyes?

  107. They were older than that. Did you know the hymns

  108. that we all celebrate?

  109. Uh?

  110. The words are from the writer, the tune is from

  111. the pub Yes, okay, So.

  112. They were singing hymns.

  113. How when we read the Bible, we need to read

  114. with their curiosity and saying.

  115. God, why? How? What? When? How? Who? Amen?

  116. So how I believe to Heaven new you? It starts

  117. with new eyes. Somebody'sying new eyes. They saw with new eyes.

  118. Now I don't mean this literally literally, like go and

  119. do let's sing now, okay, or get a new peril class.

  120. You know I mean symbolically right, new eyes, a new

  121. or let me give you this word, a new perspective.

  122. In other words, the way you look at life.

  123. In twenty twenty three should be different in twenty twenty four,

  124. because the simple premise is this. If you look at life,

  125. and by life I mean everything about you the same

  126. way last year as you do this year, then what

  127. will change?

  128. What will be better? Amen?

  129. So new eyes the power of perspective? Do say perspective?

  130. How have you would.

  131. Agree that looking and seeing is not the same thing.

  132. Everybody looks, but not everybody sees. Yep, you could be

  133. looking at the same thing, but you see very differently. Amen,

  134. look and seeing it's not the same thing. You can

  135. look at something, and so we all look at the

  136. Bible every Saturday, but we may not see what the

  137. Bible is trying to tell us.

  138. Right, So new eyes to see with.

  139. You got to look at life and see differently than

  140. you did before. Otherwise it'll be what insanity to expect

  141. the different results when you're doing the same thing over

  142. and over again. Albert Enstein said that yep, okay, see

  143. this is why it's so powerful to praise God. Praise

  144. is an act of faith. Praise is saying something true

  145. about God, even if you don't feel it or see it.

  146. For the moment. Amen.

  147. That means you may not feel very good right now,

  148. things around you may not be very good, but you

  149. say God, you are good. That's praise, and that's an

  150. act of faith because when you do that, when you

  151. praise God, it gives you perspective. It reminds you you

  152. are good, You are God, I am Man, I'm in

  153. need of you.

  154. It reminds you praise is good.

  155. Yeah, when you're in the pit, usually it's praise.

  156. It gets you out.

  157. When Joseph was in the pit, out of all the brothers,

  158. you know which one got him out Judah. Judah means

  159. praise of all the brothers, was Judah who say, hey,

  160. come on, don't leave him here, Let's get him out.

  161. Praise gives you a perspective. It's an egg of faith.

  162. It doesn't depends on how you feel.

  163. Amen. So what is perspective.

  164. It's a view, a way of looking at things and

  165. seeing things, a mental of you, a mindset, somebody mindset.

  166. We addressed this last year, but I feel we.

  167. Can go deeper a mind set. So guys and girls

  168. have different perspective.

  169. If you haven't noticed it yet.

  170. When we say shopping, a guy thinks shopping is this

  171. and a girl thinks shopping is this?

  172. It's two different things.

  173. Yeah, a guy can say I'm going to the shopping

  174. mall to buy a belt. The girl says, oh, yeah,

  175. me too. But a guy goes in there, finds the belt,

  176. buys it, and goes The girl will enjoy the whole

  177. process comes back with an entire enxample, not just belt, shoe, tammering, whatever. Right,

  178. Guys and girls perspective on football is different. Hey, yeah,

  179. one is watching how the game goes there and is

  180. watching and how hot the guy is. I know generalization,

  181. but you get my point. Guys perspecting on love and

  182. girls perspecting on love also two different things. Yeah, so

  183. what's a perspective? Perspective is a way of looking at things,

  184. a way of seeing something.

  185. Yeah.

  186. So with perspective, you can even see what's not there.

  187. Something's not there, but you can see it because of

  188. the way you're seeing. You can even you can even

  189. not see what's there. Maybe someone is trying so hard

  190. to show you love and care, you just can't see it.

  191. Yeah. Church situation very common, very common.

  192. You go, I've been a you pastor for a long

  193. time and I hear this very very common, all right,

  194. Because we'll have a new young person walks into the

  195. church and everybody will talk to the young person.

  196. Here are you? Where you from? Okay?

  197. And then the young person will go back and then

  198. come again after a few weeks. That young person says,

  199. I don't feel I belong. No one talks to me.

  200. And then you are spec your head. What even no

  201. one talks to you? Everybody was talking to you, but ah,

  202. you know who everybody is. It's uncle like me, uncle

  203. like Kannish or the ancle auntie. They don't count nobody

  204. that I want to talk to me, talk to me.

  205. So conclusion, no one talks to me, I don't feel

  206. belong and here you are. Ah, So we perspective, if

  207. you look at it a certain way, you can see

  208. what's not there. You can even not see what's there.

  209. What you see depends on where you see from. So

  210. it's a question of focus. What you focus on you see, right?

  211. Application pretty simple, right, if you focus on mistakes or

  212. you see is if you focus on hurt or you

  213. see yadi, YadA, etcetera, etcetera, dot dot.

  214. Dot, You fill in the blanks.

  215. So can you can you at least see at this

  216. point in time that to change who you are, to

  217. become a new person allowing the word of God and

  218. is to have new eyes.

  219. To see it.

  220. And of course this is not psychology workshop or one

  221. of those things. It's it's a church. What am I

  222. saying to you, I'm saying to you have new eyes

  223. on but do it through the world of God. That

  224. means you gotta look at your world as how God

  225. sees it. So if you're experiencing pain, how you see pain,

  226. How what you focus on about the pain changes you? Yes,

  227. So if you look at pain the way God sees pain,

  228. it changes you too. What you focus on growth. Somebody say, amen,

  229. let me ask you a question. It's on the slide

  230. as well. Say you have you have a few child

  231. If you have few children, or maybe you're a teacher,

  232. or maybe you know your own children, but you got nephews, nieces, cousins.

  233. I want you think of the most difficult child you have,

  234. maybe not cooperative, maybe uh.

  235. Slow to respond, uh, maybe rebect whatever it is.

  236. Okay, you got three the most difficult one, you got

  237. two the most difficult. Maybe you're among all your cousins,

  238. among all your nephew us. Think of the most difficult.

  239. Child you have? Question? Is this child good? All bad?

  240. This child that comes home throw the socks underway everywhere,

  241. never picks up. This child that always answer back when

  242. you say something, This child that always breaks things, This

  243. child that I don't know always cracks your password and.

  244. Fight things with your credit card.

  245. Sally one day got Tesla who bought this? Yeah, this

  246. child good, all bad? Good to bad? Bad because bad?

  247. Because I'm sure you have an explansion, right, don't mean

  248. expectations the very definition of scene right, missing the mark?

  249. This is good, you don't meet it, you're bad. How

  250. many of you think, no, this child is good? No

  251. one thinks this child is good. Anyone want to just

  252. be the one I was saying he's good and somehow

  253. hook up some reason for it, like, for example, the

  254. child is good, he's just doing bad things. Can be

  255. a good word just doing bad things temporarily. This is

  256. generally how we think about life, theology, relationship, anything. Can

  257. I give you a perspective the problem is not whether

  258. this child is misbehaving or behaving. The problem is in

  259. the question. I gave you no choice. I already labeled

  260. a child, this child is good or bad. The problem

  261. is the question. We do that all the time. Well,

  262. this is suffering.

  263. I have in my life?

  264. Is good or better? If God is so good, then

  265. why does this bad thing happen to me? We gave

  266. it no choice. We have to answer it's good, it's bad,

  267. it's good, it's bad. And if that's how we look

  268. at even children. If this child is either just good

  269. or bad, do you know what he affects a parenting

  270. affects the way we see the child, or if you're

  271. a teacher, affects how you teach. Perspective affects everything. The

  272. problem is in the question. And when I say that,

  273. I also mean the problem is in the perspective. Why

  274. do you look at this and only give two options,

  275. good or bad? What if this child doesn't pick up

  276. his own clothes, or doesn't finish his food, or doesn't

  277. do all his chores?

  278. And what if you.

  279. Change the question. What if the question is I wonder

  280. what he's actually good at? Or what if the question

  281. is I wonder what it would take to get him

  282. to pick up his clothes instead of bad. Can you

  283. catch the power perspective? Now, how would it change your parenting?

  284. Because if it's good, you reward, If it's bad, you punish.

  285. But what really changed? It only reinforces the label that

  286. you already put on the child.

  287. The child doesn't change.

  288. But if you ask a different question, what if Wow,

  289. I wonder what made him finish his food the last time?

  290. Not just child? What about colleagues? What about your boss?

  291. Bad boss? A good boss? Are what if you ask

  292. a different question? The problem is in the question we

  293. need to view people accurately and that the bottom line

  294. says we can't. Only God can. Only God knows you

  295. through and through. In other words, if you want to

  296. view another precious human being accurately, lovingly, christianly, you've got

  297. to view them through the lenses of God. How does

  298. God view that rebellious answering back, dirty, untidy child? How

  299. does God view that? And then as a parent you

  300. view that way. As a colleague, as a friend, as

  301. a neighbor, as an employee, you start to view things

  302. the way God views them. You know why, every question

  303. has a presupposition. Every question that you ask has already

  304. a presupposition, something you already presupposed. That is why the

  305. why question can be so hard to answer.

  306. Canji or late why.

  307. That presupposes questions intent, It doesn't get It's not nice

  308. being asked that doesn't ask no problem, don't being asked

  309. fews like we're asking me why because it's a presupposition. Demesa,

  310. you must have had a you I don't have a

  311. good intention or bad intention? Why So to help the stitution,

  312. we ask differently, Yeah, it's the traffic.

  313. Okay.

  314. Today, every question has a presupposition. Every thought has a presupposition.

  315. We are nobody can say, Nola, I'm completely neutral, no

  316. such thing.

  317. What if?

  318. So, since every question has a presupposition in the words,

  319. every question has an assumption every time, what if we

  320. all assume the best, always ideal? I know, But what

  321. if we all start to assume the best, always assume

  322. the best of each other, always assume the best of God.

  323. God loves me.

  324. God is perfect, He does nothing that is lacking. Therefore,

  325. if he allows this challenge in my life, he is good.

  326. He's perfect. This is not a mistake. He must have

  327. a good reason for it. And then your attitude changes.

  328. What if that person that is so bad to you?

  329. What if we assume the best. I'm not saying it's

  330. easy to do. I'm saying it changes things. I'm saying

  331. it changes you. New eyes, new perspective, God's perspective. Amen,

  332. having the right perspective is key. And by right, I

  333. don't mean by your or my definition, but God's definition.

  334. Only God gets to determine what is right. Amen, having

  335. the right perspective is key. It changes everything. It is

  336. very important. It is vital for our late relationship with

  337. each other. Amen, we are the body of Christ, of

  338. all people on this planet Earth. We've got to get this.

  339. We are one body. The Bible says that's what we

  340. didc community, the way we did it last week. From

  341. one bottle, one sauce, one bread. We all partake together

  342. because one body. We are called and designed to live together.

  343. But we are different. Because some of you are hand

  344. You like to take things with.

  345. Some of us that the lake.

  346. We like to kick things, We have to go places.

  347. Some of you are the bumb You know, it just

  348. wouldn't be every comfortable. I don't know, like we're all different,

  349. but we are one body.

  350. We gotta learn how to relate.

  351. And one of the first things that needs to be

  352. fixed or renewed or change is the way we see things,

  353. our perspective and man.

  354. So it's key. It's key.

  355. So it's key for relationship with each other, it's key

  356. for relationship with God.

  357. Everybody okay with God.

  358. With the right perspective, it leads us to things like

  359. it least us to be a worshipper. When we finally

  360. catch who God is, we don't see him as our

  361. center Claus. Let's admit it, some of us. God is

  362. just our center Claus. When we need something, we show

  363. him how good we've been and he must give it

  364. to us.

  365. So what's God? It's just our healer.

  366. We only go to him and not well and sick,

  367. and we're like, okay, God, you're great healer.

  368. Hallelujah, Priest, he'll me. So what's God? Is our comfort?

  369. Whatever are.

  370. Then God, it's just the thing or the person or

  371. the entity that blesses you or gives you what you need,

  372. what you want, just not the right perspective.

  373. When you catch the right perspective.

  374. And you realize amongst all things that His Savior, Shepherd, Love, Redeemer,

  375. and our comfort teacher, all these.

  376. Things, my alliest things.

  377. Ultimately, he is God, oh mighty, and he is worthy

  378. of a worship. And that should teach me you to

  379. never think I put find her again. The offering back

  380. so odd well, it's more than the other guy, so odden,

  381. he's gone. Having the right perspective makes you a worshiper,

  382. and a worshiper does things like honor. You don't think

  383. God's name for in vain? You you don't just you

  384. know what I'm saying. Can I see I've done just

  385. wrong enough to I think I no longer want to

  386. say you don't come yo, you are a bad personer

  387. because I can't do that.

  388. But that would lead to what, that would lead to guilt?

  389. I mean when you are it's a Saturday and you're

  390. in Langkawei somewhere, and I text you, hey, brohere are

  391. you what's the feeling guilt?

  392. Yeah? What's the found out? Shucks?

  393. And then next week or next time you come to

  394. church because of what?

  395. Then guilt?

  396. You think.

  397. There's the emotion got ones from you? Guilty?

  398. So I single whish of you want your child or

  399. your wife to love you? Because I feel guilty. I

  400. feel guilty. I didn't talk to her today. That's why

  401. it makes you were one hundred percent of all the time.

  402. Hi, darling, today, I'm dating you because I feel guilty.

  403. And if you could hear that thought, which of you

  404. wifs will feel like that's so awesome?

  405. We think we die guilty? Wait didn't? No, but I

  406. would say you didn't come with judge? You should come? Why?

  407. Because you miss it? Very different?

  408. I yeah, I missed just last week. If you so guilty, law,

  409. so guilty? La, I need to go to just next week.

  410. I don't want that. I yeah, I didn't go to

  411. just last week. I miss it.

  412. I miss it. I wonder what happened. I wonder what

  413. God said.

  414. Yeah, I wonder what the presence of God was like

  415. last I miss it. You say the same thing to

  416. your wife. Are you I'm talking to you right now

  417. because I missed talking to you?

  418. Hey? Different? Feeling right?

  419. Don't believe me going? Try go on a date your

  420. loved one and say I'm just doing this case.

  421. I'm guilty, So why why would I build it? What

  422. a plan?

  423. Thet church and talk like that to maybe you feel guilty. No,

  424. I want to make it sure you miss it, I

  425. miss it, relationship, ma, I want to be in God's presence.

  426. That's true honor.

  427. The other version is just guilt, embarrassed, shame, point scoring,

  428. performance based.

  429. Right. This is God. So I love you God.

  430. You are deserving and worthy of my love. And that

  431. is why I obey. Not because I'm scared, because I

  432. fear you. Goduse I obey because I love you. I

  433. want to please you. Amen, And that's why. Except to

  434. sixteen Paul and Silas Bruce broken falls the accused, what's

  435. the response, God, you did this to Mina, You did

  436. this to me god yr Phone, Why go and become missionary?

  437. He was, I know, I know who I am. I

  438. know who you are. I mean not understand it. Oh like,

  439. what the why am I in a prison? But you

  440. are gone? You were gone?

  441. You know what I'm saying.

  442. Paul and Silas understood that. So the perspective is very different.

  443. I said two weeks ago about how you know some

  444. of us we shopping seven seven eleven eleven girl whatever.

  445. We bought something that used to be.

  446. One thousand ring kid and then sixty percent off and

  447. now it's only four hundred ring kid, and be so happy.

  448. Hey, everybody, I say six hundred ring kah.

  449. No you spend for hundred in it? You're four hundred

  450. git border Now you know what I'm saying. No my city, No, No,

  451. you spent four hundred. It's perspective. What if you turn

  452. this around and make it positive. It's not work, it's worship.

  453. It's not work, it's ship. What if removing the sick

  454. covers it's not just work, it's worship. You can see

  455. something as pressure or it's a pleasure, like giving. Is

  456. it a pressure to give or is it a pleasure?

  457. God?

  458. I get to do this? Thank you God, you bless

  459. me with something to give you back, even if it's

  460. two mics. This is a pressure to don't know, to obey,

  461. a pressure to love for pressure to be there? Or

  462. is it a pleasure? It changes everything? It changes your mood,

  463. you're feeling your emotion, and then you you being.

  464. There, changes everybody else's esmostphere? Right? Wow?

  465. What it weill live by assuming the best? It's not

  466. time wasted, its time invested. What if your time sitting

  467. here is not time wasted, just time passing and never

  468. comes back.

  469. What if it's invested. I don't know when I need

  470. this word.

  471. But I need to keep this word in my heart

  472. because one day I'm gonna need this store.

  473. Store store.

  474. That's how banks work, right, You store money so that

  475. one day when you need it and you go back inside, think,

  476. got I saved you deposit so they can withdraw. Amen

  477. with others. They having a right perspective effects and influences

  478. your relationship with others. Amen, let me show your chat.

  479. It's called the pig Melon. In fact, Pimeleon was a sculptor.

  480. He he was famous for making a sculpture that he

  481. loves so much. And then the movie is that he

  482. became a life. He loved meone and he became a life.

  483. So it's basically talking about how one someone's attitude or

  484. someone's view over something so basic. He loves his old

  485. cup so much it came to life so that you

  486. brow wrote that myth use his name and call it

  487. a pig mailing effect. It tells you that our beliefs

  488. about others will influence our actions towards them. So if

  489. I think you're undeserving on my love, what do you

  490. think I will do? I won't greet you or what

  491. pass you right?

  492. You call me?

  493. I won't pick up because you're not deserving. Why you're

  494. a bad person, You're selfish, you are you are just

  495. there to rob from me.

  496. So I'm not gonna be saying.

  497. Once you form a belief about someone, it will influence

  498. your action towards them. So if you think I'm a

  499. bad leader, no matter how good I actually am, But

  500. if you think I'm bad, you will influence the way

  501. you treat me vice versa towards each other. Two yes, yeah,

  502. your belief or influence your action towards others and the

  503. way you treat others. Well, then impact they believe about themselves.

  504. If nobody loves me, maybe I'm unlovable. If everybody rejects me,

  505. maybe I'm a reject. They start to believe how they

  506. are treated. Put this in a parenting perspective. If you

  507. always tell your child he's naught, nothing, nothing naughty, watch

  508. what happens funny?

  509. Right?

  510. We tell them good things and we explain them to follow,

  511. because bottomne is we want them to follow. So if

  512. certain bad things and they follow, what You're so surprised

  513. other people believes about themselves. It's impacted by how they

  514. are being treated. So if I'm always love accepted, believed on.

  515. Then I tend to see myself that way too, and

  516. they will cause their action towards you. If I always

  517. call you you want't be nice to me? Man know right,

  518. Because whatever I do, whatever I ask, whatever I say,

  519. has a presupposition.

  520. That's an assumption, and it goes around. It reinforces.

  521. So see, I bet to you because I beg to you,

  522. you think I'm a bad person. Anyway, you bet back

  523. to me, and it reinforces my belief that to you,

  524. he's a bad person. It goes around and around. Nobody changes,

  525. nothing changes. Yep, God knows this. That's why while I'm

  526. gonna give you about six verses about how we should

  527. treat each other, there's plenty more, and very few of

  528. them talks about self love. In fact, none is a misundersuconcept,

  529. not saying self care is not important.

  530. Self love is very different.

  531. We'll talk about it another time, but look at this

  532. verses how should we treat others?

  533. First contains one ten.

  534. I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name

  535. of our lot Jesus Christ, that all of you agree

  536. with one another in what you say, and that there

  537. be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly

  538. united in mind and thought, perspective view. Let's agree that

  539. we're going to assume the best of each other. Agree

  540. that the person you now are so annoyed by so

  541. much is a child of God. Jesus died for him too,

  542. and you're not more deserving of God's grace than he is.

  543. Changes everything. Amen, But he's late, I know God, but.

  544. He's still my parents will Yeah, still a child of God.

  545. Need some grace and need to change my child God?

  546. Praise smelly? Yeah he wait all jelly? Just now, Yes,

  547. where's the child of God? What does a Bible tell

  548. us to How should we live our life? How should

  549. we live with other human beings? Do nothing out of

  550. self in ambition? Or then conside rather in humility, value

  551. others above yourself, not looking to your own interests, but

  552. each of you to the interests of others. Next one,

  553. be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other,

  554. just as in Christ, God forgave you.

  555. Imagine we live in the world like this.

  556. Romans twelf that next one be devoted to one another

  557. in love, honor one another above yourself Methew seven to twelve.

  558. The Golden Rule.

  559. So in everything due to others, what you would have

  560. them do to you for this sums up the law

  561. and the prophets James one, nineteen.

  562. My dear brother and sisters take note of this.

  563. Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and

  564. slow to become angry.

  565. There's a musical called My Fair Lady. It's about this

  566. flower girl.

  567. And then this professor that wants to groom her and

  568. train her to behave like a princess.

  569. There's a scene. I don't have the clip, but in

  570. this scene she gave this courtees.

  571. She said, the difference between a flower girl and a

  572. princess is not how she behaves, but how she is treated.

  573. Now we can dissect these and agree and disagree and

  574. all that, but the point here is this.

  575. How we treat impact them.

  576. How parents treat the child, how bosses treat their employees,

  577. how brothers and sisters in Christ treat each other impacts

  578. has an impact.

  579. So my big question is what if? What if?

  580. What if we live out God's word? Be kind to

  581. one another, estingish other above our own interests, be kind

  582. of compressions, quick to listen, slow to speak, definitely slow

  583. to get angry. This is not making excuses for people

  584. like if you're on the worship team and you're late,

  585. you're late. It's not trying to make excuses about you,

  586. but trying to think the best and assume the best

  587. of you. But you have the responsibility to say, I'm late.

  588. I'll do something about it, especially since my team members

  589. treat me so nice. I hope you're motivated to change,

  590. not motivated to do litter, so they love me up

  591. next time, be later. That that is there is there

  592. is a problem. That means you don't have the mental

  593. capacity to like detect. The right response is to oh,

  594. motivated to do better? Amen, because if they score you,

  595. then your motivator to do better.

  596. But out of guilt.

  597. And guilt don't last because nobody wants to feel guilty

  598. long long. Who wants to prolong youill? Nobody right, So

  599. guilt cannot be the motivation must be love still must

  600. be love. So if you're late to a meeting and

  601. we love you back, don't get the wrong and I says, wow.

  602. So nice, like this ship literally still love me? Or

  603. next time, come on? I want it? Lock? They no, no,

  604. what if?

  605. What if we treat each other the way God wants

  606. to treat us perspective. Amen, there's just new eyes. You

  607. can new mouth, new years, no time. Today will continue

  608. some other time. He said, Okay, God is just not

  609. there to like. It's not it's not like other gods. Know,

  610. we feed him in apple and then give us four digits.

  611. Then were going by. Then we get a new car.

  612. I knows it's not dead. This is not our God. Oh,

  613. God gives you a new tesla that you don't deserve.

  614. If that's what you need. It's a good God. But

  615. God is not some puppet, some clown to entertain. You know,

  616. He's God.

  617. Having the right perspective changes and then having a right

  618. perspective over each other.

  619. Changes everything. Amen, even non Christians.

  620. Even the people outside of the church, outside the body

  621. of Christ.

  622. The way we see affects everything.
