  1. Hey there, you're listening to the Generation's Church podcast. We pray that the

  2. word of God today will challenge, change and channel you into your God given

  3. destiny. Now let's get started. Today we're dealing with something called secularism and

  4. progressive Christianity. You may also have heard about something called the work movement.

  5. Now they are not all exactly the same things, but they intersect at certain

  6. points. So we hope to discuss that today. You know, one,

  7. I'm going to pass the time to the Guru who will take us through some

  8. foundational introduction thoughts. But how today will work largely is going to be based

  9. on your questions, is said, all right, It's going to be based

  10. on your questions, and so if you don't ask questions, we will end

  11. early. Some might like that, Okay, So as we think about these

  12. things, some of the issues, some of the topics, some of the

  13. I guess struggles that you may encounter as we talk about these things is things

  14. like you know, secularism is the different ways to explain it. But basically

  15. people who subscribe to this want to basically separate religion from everything else, Like,

  16. for example, we separate the state from the church, or the state

  17. from religion, so you may start writing laws that is purely secular and has

  18. nothing to do with any religion or any religious background. For something like that.

  19. Right now, you can imagine that can bring up other issues. Right

  20. For example, if religion tells you this is a man, this is a

  21. woman, and you remove religion from laws that return, then you start to

  22. have your own definition. So those kind of issues might crop up. Right.

  23. Progressive Christianity again in show. If you do a Google search, you

  24. will find all chapes of answers. But in short is it's Christianity, but

  25. almost without Jesus. It's all about love as long as there's love, and

  26. it sounds good because God is love. But they almost make it like love

  27. is God. Yes, those things are not indigenegtable. It's like this doesn't

  28. work. I know it's English where it doesn't work that way. God is

  29. love, but we might be very careful Love is not God. But in

  30. progressive Christianity that it's thought that you know, as long as it's done out

  31. of love, as long as we love God and love people. As long

  32. as it's love, then it's okay. Very fine and very thin line,

  33. very dangerous grounds to be on. But let me just hand over to Samon

  34. now and then he will start us off with some foundational thoughts and then we'll

  35. see what questions we will come up Besides why am I so handsome? We

  36. actually discussed that question in class yesterday. Actually, why is past that day

  37. so handsome? We're not kidding. You can ask him that later, all

  38. right, but thank you, pasty do. I want to start off by

  39. reading from Genesis chapter three, and if you have your Bibles, please open

  40. with me to Genesis chapter three. If you don't have your Bibles, well,

  41. I guess that's what Google is for, all right. So let's go

  42. to Genesis chapter three, and I want to read from Worse one to seven.

  43. All right, Worse one to seven. And you may be wondering what

  44. has this got to do with secularism the woke movement, And in short,

  45. my answer is everything. All right, So let's go Genesis chapter one.

  46. So Genesis chapter three was one to seven. I'm gonna read this, and

  47. after I'm done reading this, I will say this is the word of the

  48. Lord. And I hope you can say thanks be to God if you can

  49. do that. All right, let's do that. So Genesis chapter three worse

  50. one. Now, the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the

  51. field that the Lord God had me. He said to the woman, did

  52. God actually say, you shall not eat off any tree in the garden.

  53. And a woman said to the serpent, we may eat of the fruit of

  54. the trees in the garden. But God said, you shall not eat of

  55. the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden. Neither

  56. shall you touch it lest you die worse four. But the serpent said to

  57. the woman, you will not surely die, for God knows when you eat

  58. of it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God,

  59. knowing good and evil. When a woman saw. When a woman saw

  60. that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to

  61. the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise,

  62. she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave some to her

  63. husband, who was with her, and he hate. Then the eyes of

  64. both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And

  65. he sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loinclothes. Brother says, this is

  66. in Christ, this is the word of the law God. Let's look to

  67. God in prayer. Before we start, God, we once again want to

  68. come to you and ask you that even as we address a topic that is

  69. a sensitive one, something that is so relevant to this time and this age,

  70. we pray that you be with us. We pray that you guide us,

  71. that we not only understand this topic, but we see it in the

  72. light of the way you see it. We pray that your users to deal

  73. with people that struggle with this. We ask all this in Jesus name.

  74. Amen, fantastic, great, thank you. Now what is this going to

  75. do with secularism? Well, I said everything, because fundamental to this idea

  76. of secularism are two words. One is the word secular, which comes from

  77. the Latin word for world. Now, in Latin we are two words for

  78. world, not one. One of the words for world is mundum. The

  79. other is where you get the word secular. Now what's the difference, you

  80. may ask, Well, the normal word in Latin for world actually deals with

  81. space. The world is in a space to live with, to live to

  82. a place where it is. But secular deals more with a time concept.

  83. So it's not just the world, but the world as it is today.

  84. What is it currently in the state So now the word ism, on the

  85. other hand, deals with a worldview, a way in which we perceive the

  86. world around us. And so when you put these two together, secularism has

  87. to do with prioritizing the way we see the world as it is today.

  88. Now, all that said, what's wrong with that? And what's wrong with

  89. being modern? You know? Should we be archaic all the time? Should

  90. we speak in King James language? The now? Thine, No, that's

  91. not what we're saying. What we're saying, rather, is that the whole

  92. debate as to whether secularism is legitimate or not bolts down to this one question

  93. who is Lord? Because in secularism, who really is Lord? We are?

  94. You don't get to tell me what gender I am sounds familiar. I

  95. may look like a man, Doctor v may do some scientific tests and you

  96. know, some tests my chromosomes and realize I'm a man, But it doesn't

  97. matter, because what I feel is independent of what you and I what anyone

  98. else may say. So secularism will emphasize your truth. Have you heard that

  99. saying before your truth? This is well, there's no such thing as your

  100. truth. There's only your opinion. It's the truth. And so secularism says

  101. that you are Lord. And number two, secularism kind of contradicts the idea

  102. that God has even spoken, which is why foundational to the idea of secularism

  103. is the distinction between church and state. Now I'm not saying that church and

  104. state should be one. That's not what I'm saying. But the idea that

  105. there is a fundamental difference between what God says and what we think is the

  106. very foundation of secularism. Don't bring God into the classroom, they will say.

  107. Now, in the French Constitution, like cite, I think is that

  108. the French word for this. This is foundational to the French Constitution. It's

  109. Article one in the French Constitution, this separation between church and state. Don't

  110. let God have anything to do with the way things are run. God can

  111. be in his own little compartment, that's the religious compartment, and secularism will

  112. run it on its own. Here's the problem. Secularism is in itself a

  113. form of religion. It's a religion that denies all other religion, but it

  114. is in fact a religion because it has a particular view of God, namely

  115. that God did not speak, which is why many secularists tend to be atheists.

  116. Now, you can still call yourself a Christian and be a secularist,

  117. but in many ways, the form of atheism those people embrace will be what

  118. we call practical atheism. That is, on the one hand, saying that

  119. God exists, but functioning as if he doesn't. So ultimately, when you

  120. look through the story of the Garden of Eden, we realize that secularism is

  121. not a modern concept. It's something that was already there, even before Sin

  122. came into the world. Secularism is Satan saying to the woman number one,

  123. did God really say? Why? Because if I can challenge whether or not

  124. God actually said something, then I can introduce any moral ideas that I want

  125. to God really saying it's wrong to be gay? God really say that transgenderism

  126. is sin? The God really really say that abortion is wrong? Why I

  127. had all these rules? I mean, it's not as if God really spoke,

  128. now, did he? Because when you come to Jesus and Jesus addresses

  129. the same enemy Satan, Jesus will repeat three phrase, one phrase, three

  130. times? What is that phrase? It is written? It written, it

  131. is written. Why does Jesus do that? It's set up. God already

  132. said, so when you come to the foundation of where the fall begins,

  133. it is Satan number one questioning did God say it? Did God ever say?

  134. And number two, Satan challenges God's word worse for Satan says, you

  135. will not die. Secularism God says to man that he is Lord. Secularism

  136. is man saying no, I'm Lord, I get to define my destiny.

  137. God says, this is sin. Who is God to say what I mean?

  138. Who is God to impose his moral values on me? I decide for

  139. myself. And ultimately, secularism itself is the very attempt to become God,

  140. because, as you will see, Satan's entire temptation to the woman is that

  141. when you eat of it verse five, you will be like God. And

  142. so, under the pretense of a certain knowledge, secularism comes in and says,

  143. well you can you know? You ultimately are important, which is why

  144. another close con except to secularism is called humanism. Humanism is the idea that

  145. humanity is the ultimate good, that humanity is the priority forget God, humanity

  146. is now. Secularism and humanism are two distinct concepts, but they usually come

  147. together, which is a concept we know as secular humanism. They come together.

  148. They're like guys in the same car, right, they may be different,

  149. but they take a ride with each other. And so ultimately, when

  150. what we're going to do is I think a lot of times Christians look at

  151. issues like homosexuality, transgenderism, abortion, progressive Christianity and we say that these

  152. are we treat them like they're different things. Actually they're not. They're very

  153. much related to one foundational concept. That concept is the lordship of men.

  154. And so that's what we want to tackle. And ultimately, of course our

  155. goal pass andy will be to show today and man is not lord. The

  156. true salvation is realizing two things. Number One, none of us are bond

  157. straight, because one of the key argives and says, what if I was

  158. born that way? Can I tell you how I was born? I was

  159. born sinful. I was not born straight, not born straight as in I'm

  160. not talking about sexual identity here, I'm saying I was born sinful, I

  161. was bound crooked. And none of us are born right. The Bible says

  162. all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Ultimately, how

  163. are we made right before God? It is not in saying this is how

  164. I was born. It is in realizing I need to be born again.

  165. I need to be born in the likeness of Jesus. The spiritual birth must

  166. take place. I am not what God created me to be. I'm a

  167. fallen human being and I need this new birth. This new birth can only

  168. come by repentance and are turning to Christ realizing my identity is not who I

  169. am. My identity is Jesus Christ. That's the remedy of it. Not

  170. It's a shot over your pastor and then we can deal with the nitty gritty

  171. details in Jesabit. Let's do that. Yes, I expected. We have

  172. many questions already, but the most popular question is not quite related. Do

  173. you want to look at it? I'm not sure. It's a question about

  174. Lucifer and why didn't God just bring Lucifer back? Since God is so all

  175. powerful. Yeah, do we do with that? Yeah? Sure, I

  176. don't mind. Yeah, I mean, well, it's not directly related,

  177. but we did touch on Satan. Yes. The problem is this, Lucifer

  178. is not in the Bible. I hear this all the time, Lucifer the

  179. Bible. What does the Bible say about Lucifer? The woorld Lucifer is not

  180. in the Bible. The word lucifer comes from Latin barrel of light. The

  181. Bible was written in Hebrew, right, so it's not the world lucifer is

  182. not in a Bible. You'll find it in the King James version. But

  183. that's a mistranslation because prior to the King James version, the the main Bibles

  184. that they would use were Latin. So there's a Latin influence on the sixteen

  185. eleven King James. But the wood lucifer is strictly speaking, not in the

  186. Hebrew at all. Now the quiz in us, I guess why did God

  187. not just lock up Satan? Right, Well, that would be to assume

  188. that Satan's very existence is a problem to God. It's no problem to God.

  189. He's in control of all human affairsus we testified last week, which means

  190. even though Satan things that he's leading Judas to betray Jesus, falls right within

  191. the plan of God. If Satan thinks that he's trying to kill Jesus,

  192. falls right within the plan of God. Satan tried to kill Jesus at his

  193. birth. Think about this, When Jesus was born, Satan tried to kill

  194. him at his birth. You know what that actually resulted in? Who else

  195. in the Old Testament nearly got killed at his birth Moses? It ended up

  196. showing Jesus as the new Moses. And just like Moses had a miraculous escave,

  197. Jesus had a miraculous escape. Okay, where did Moses have the miraculous

  198. escape too? Egypt? Where did Jesus have the miraculous escape? Two?

  199. Studying the pattern, so Satan's attempt to go against God actually results in Jesus

  200. fulfilling biblical prophecy which Matthew chapter two says out of Egypt, I call my

  201. son. So thanks very much Satan for the help. Right, So,

  202. ultimately I would say that the reason God doesn't restrain Satan right now he will

  203. one day, it's because it's not as if he's he's attempting to go against

  204. God, but in doing so, he fulfills God's plans in the ultimate sense.

  205. Right, Great, let's move the next question, and this is of

  206. course more related, and it's got to do with I'll just read the question.

  207. It is as it is. How do you speak up? I assume

  208. you here meaning us as believers, as a body of Christ, as Christians

  209. who believe in the Bible. Yeah, So how do you speak up against

  210. the LGBTQ plus community without sounding judgmental? And to what extent you show acceptance

  211. of the person? So I assume the person being part of the LGBTQ community

  212. when the person him or herself is so confused, So how do you I

  213. guess it's a question of like, where do you stand and how do you

  214. stand on the side of what's right? Yeah, at the same time,

  215. be understanding, be accepting things like that you want to go first, and

  216. then what you want you start first? Okay, All right, Now,

  217. when we first started this church, we did declare that this will be a

  218. church for all all generations. Right, we boldly put a word like that.

  219. And then it's a scary love when you put all all means all ut

  220. uh. And when we when we say when we say generations, we also

  221. kind of qualify that we don't just mean age groups. We mean all kinds

  222. of people, all kinds of people that will if we say all, then

  223. that would include even those from the l g b d Q community. We

  224. also did say when you first started the church, and we're not so different

  225. now than a year ago. That while we know that a church, the

  226. church is for everyone, I did admit that we don't necessarily know how to

  227. deal with the issue completely. Like if someone were to walk in here and

  228. they're from the LGBTQ community, right, do I know all the fifteen steps

  229. on how to deal with the whole situation if the person signs up for the

  230. worship team and wants to audition, or wants to be a gend kiss teacher,

  231. or wants to preach up here, all of those nuances are very very

  232. detailed. Do we know exactly what we'll do? Yet? We have a

  233. bit more ideas now better I didn't now than a year ago. But this

  234. is an important question because if we really want to be a church where we

  235. preach Jesus, and we should preach Jesus to everyone, and we want everyone

  236. to be able to hear the Gospel, then we must be ready. We

  237. must be ready. Yeah. Now, as far as I know now,

  238. I think there's a very big difference between accepting and agreeing. Accepting something is

  239. not the same as agree with something. Right, He's an Arsenal fan,

  240. I'm a Liverpool fan. We're not the best of friends at the moment.

  241. Football terms, the football terms, because we are competing for the same price.

  242. Right, I can accept him as a friend. I can accept his

  243. choices of a football team, you know, an inferior one, but not

  244. I feel have you seen the table lately? Uh? Yeah, the same

  245. points. But do I agree with his choices? No? Do I wish

  246. he had a different choice. I do because then we can be like even

  247. more friends. But can can you see in the very simple way now what

  248. I mean by I accept his choices, but I don't agree with his choices?

  249. Right? I think that will be a good guiding thought. Accepting someone

  250. It's not the same as agree with their lifestyle choices. Now you go into

  251. like even more once. It's like also, if the person invites you to

  252. his wedding, will you go? Uh? And if you go doesn't mean

  253. that you support the entire idea of being LGBTQ. I think it's not a

  254. it's not a maybe maybe it's just me. I don't think it's a one

  255. answer that fits all. I think it would depend on the person. Is

  256. he my cousin, is he my brother? Or see just someone I met

  257. yesterday? It all depends. I think it all depends. But I would

  258. definitely make it very clear that accepting the person is not the same agreeing with

  259. his choices. For example, Also, if I can use another analogy,

  260. my child, my son or my daughter, they're at this age right now,

  261. and then he maybe you want and it comes from and say, Daddy,

  262. I learned something new today. Two plus two is nine. He's clearly

  263. wrong. He's clearly wrong, right, and now I have a choice as

  264. a parent do I? And he seems confident dry two plus two is nine.

  265. I got it. I figured it out. It is nine, and

  266. nobody can tell me. Otherwise I could go straight say son, you dumb

  267. boy, you two plus is not nine? Like who thought you that?

  268. You? You dumboe? You silly? I could do that and make my

  269. point. Or I could say, wow, how do you get nine from

  270. two plus two? Can you show me? Uh? And and And the

  271. reason I might do that is because I need to simultaneously tell him that son,

  272. I love you. You can get math wrong, you can get the

  273. ingredients of making cookie wrong, but you're still my son. So it's it's

  274. a very important balance to be able to communicate that I love you even if

  275. your math is wrong, even if your your incredients are wrong, even if

  276. you know didn't do your chores. I love you. And then I feel

  277. like it's up to me being the more mature one, and I would I

  278. would say this, and I know what this is offensive. I would say

  279. Christian is more mature in the revelation than a non Christian because we know,

  280. we know things that others don't write. So then say, therefore it falls

  281. on the mature to handle the immature. You know what I'm saying. So

  282. our with lot, a lot of love, but not just mental. So

  283. I would then have to, with my son as an example, patiently bring

  284. him to a place where he understands because two plus two is still not nine,

  285. right, I don't care what he believes, and what he thinks is

  286. still not nine. And I'm not saying just because I say, oh,

  287. I love you anyway while you attempt the math, that's so good, I'm

  288. not saying two plus two is nine. I'm not agree that it's nine.

  289. But I have to lovingly show him that two plus two is not nine.

  290. It is indeed for and I think that the key the challenge is in that,

  291. in that gap, how do I show them love and then bring them

  292. to truth? So how do I speak up against LGBT community? Do we

  293. speak up against the community? Yeah? Or could I be more specific?

  294. And I speak up against the lifestyle that the community practices, because if if

  295. community means the people, then I will find a way to tell them,

  296. Hey, I love you, and I love you so much. I want

  297. you to know the truth. But I can speak up against but that lifestyle

  298. is wrong, the practice is wrong, the act is wrong. And do

  299. we speak up? Yeah? We speak up? How to sound not judgmental?

  300. I think it's difficult to not sound judgemental because you are passing a judgment

  301. when you say. When you say something is right or wrong, it is

  302. a judgment. So I don't think the goal here is not to sound judgmental,

  303. not judgmental. Goal is to sound whether whether you sound loving or not,

  304. you can I mean, I can tell my son two plus two is

  305. not nine and do it lovingly. But I don't think I can do it

  306. without judging. I don't know I say two plus two is not nine without

  307. actually judging that two plus two is not nine. But I can do so

  308. lovingly. Is it too abstract to wage hope? Hope he helps? And

  309. if it's two vague please fall up with another question and never pick it up

  310. from there. You have something to add. I just want to add real

  311. quick. When we talk about the LGBT community, we're talking essentially about four

  312. Well, when you talk about LGBT, you're talking essentially about four kind of

  313. things here, and sometimes they you lum people lump them together without even realizing

  314. it. Number one, LGBT we can can be a disposition, which means

  315. we call that same sex attraction where people you know are attracted to the same

  316. sex, but they don't have to necessarily commit the or to fulfill the attraction.

  317. It's just I attracted, right, So the whole thing is in disposition.

  318. Number one is the disposition sin yes or no? No? Of course

  319. not no way in the Bible is a disposition sin Now when I say that,

  320. every time people are thinking of Matthew Chapter five, where Jesus says if

  321. you look lustfully at someone, you've committed sin. Yes, looking lustfully and

  322. having an attraction or two different things. Right, As a straight man,

  323. I have attraction towards women. I don't look lassually at women. That's different,

  324. right, You can be attracted to the opposite sex without being lustful to

  325. the opposite sex. So likewise, you can have same sex attraction without being

  326. lustful to the members of the same sex. So that's one. That's number

  327. one, and it's an attraction. It's a real problem, and it's not

  328. sinful. It's a problem. Nonetheless, in a world that is not fallen,

  329. you won't have this attraction. But we live in a fallen world.

  330. Number two, same sex attraction, Well that's one. Number two. It

  331. deals with the action, the action of committing same or fulfilling same sex attraction.

  332. Right, the Bible says that if a man sleeps with the man as

  333. a man sleeps with a woman, it's an abomination unto the Lord. That's

  334. Leviticus eighteen. I believe. So when you come to verses like that,

  335. we notice right off the get go that the Bible condemns the action. The

  336. action is what is being judged, not the person. The action is being

  337. judged. Number three. LGBT community or the person behind this, the person

  338. struggling with the same sex attraction, a person committing the action. It's a

  339. person. Now we can label your identity as LGBT, but that is a

  340. person that is an image bearer of God. And I say we love the

  341. person. We care for the person. We be gracious and as gentle as

  342. the scripture will allow us to be. But we do speak the truth because

  343. we are ultimately ambassadors of God. Now, fourth, and finally, you

  344. come with the LGBT agenda slash community. Now, the LGBT agenda slash community

  345. doesn't always have to be people who are part of the LGBT in practice.

  346. For all you know, it could be just straight people who are supporting them

  347. in this agenda slash community. Right. The point of the agenda is to

  348. advocate a sense of normativeness about this, you know, to try and push

  349. and lobby and say this is normal, it should be allowed everywhere. And

  350. I have one thing to say about the LGBT agenda. Fight it. I'm

  351. at war with the LGBT agenda. I want to destroy the LGBT agenda at

  352. all costs. But I love the LGBT person. Why because I think the

  353. greatest enemy of the LGBT community the person is the LGBT agenda. It's someone

  354. with cancer, and then you've got people advocating that cancer it's okay, you

  355. don't have to deal with it. That's your enemy. It's not okay.

  356. You need a savior. That savior is Jesus Christ. But you are resisting

  357. that savior because you have an echo chamber of people who may or not may

  358. not even be gay, who are telling you it's okay, that's okay to

  359. live with. And I'm I'm at war with dead voice the agenda because I

  360. love the person. I care about where they're going to go. I don't

  361. care that they like me now. I would much rather than hate me right

  362. now and hopefully let the message of the Gospel sing true, that they repent,

  363. that they may find favor with Christ on the last day. Then to

  364. let them love me now and then just face Christ in judgment. So I'm

  365. okay with being that bad guy, but I completely want the second one passed

  366. the NDC. The tone in which we engage the person must be love,

  367. must not just be loving. Some people think speaking the truth is love.

  368. Yes, and no, speaking the truth can be loved. But the way

  369. we're told is to speak the truth in love. The manner in which we

  370. communicate must be loving. So I just want to second everything that you said,

  371. past great interestingly, just a few days ago, a young person that

  372. I used to pastor many years ago, I don't know. Out of the

  373. blue, reached out to me on Instagram added me, and I at it

  374. back. Didn't have the person's name at first when I added, but so

  375. later on the person introduced himself and say, hey, I'm sorry so long

  376. time, no see blah blah blah. And I checked out the profile and

  377. I had this feeling like, hey, this, uh, not good to

  378. judge that, but I look at the pictures and I'm like, wow,

  379. but these guys changed a lot. Wow and and true enough, after a

  380. few exchange of texts, this person said, hey, no, before that,

  381. I said I had to update this person because it wasn't things. I'm

  382. still in ex church, so I said, hey, I'm no longer there.

  383. I'm not in a new church. Would you like to come and check

  384. it out? No, I'll do that right And he said, oh no,

  385. lah, Pastor, I I no longer go to church. I don't

  386. really do the church thing now. And I'm like, okay, it's fine.

  387. And then later he said, hey, Pastor, like your opinion on

  388. something, if you don't mind, what do you think about the LGBTQ community?

  389. And I'm like, ah, okay, all right, great, So

  390. what do I do I said, let's meet up and talk. Let's meet

  391. up and talk instead of engaging on on on texts and stuff. Of course,

  392. that that would be to me an example of doing it in love,

  393. reaching to the person, sitting down, have a conversation, not judging.

  394. I think being there over the coffee table with this person would then show that

  395. accepting the person and hearing him out and then share what I think. I

  396. don't know. I don't know. If it's just he's just having a disposition,

  397. is he leaving the lifestyle, is he actively in the relationship. I

  398. don't know all that. But it's interesting that this todays Will delivered this and

  399. just a few days ago, this young boy reached out to me and I

  400. don't know why. I don't know. Can you tell me if my face

  401. is that handsome? That that in my In my sixteen years seventeen years of

  402. being a pastor, they always look for me like like people who either they

  403. struggle with the attraction, they tend to reach out to me and like hey,

  404. they tend to tell me. So I don't know, I don't know.

  405. When I started a church, I invited one or two guys, so

  406. one person that I tried to invite to church. Absolutely hates me right now.

  407. Uh yeah, hates me because because completely misunderstment, misunderstood me when I

  408. started a church and I kind of like use his story as an example of

  409. who I'm trying to reach out to, and it completely used, misunderstood the

  410. whole context. And then now hates me and doesn't want to talk to me,

  411. does want to reply me. Another person says, you know what,

  412. I know your agenda. You just want to change me, and you just

  413. but good on you, very bold to start a church that welcomes everybody.

  414. Uh and uh, you have just refuses to meet. And I told this

  415. person that, you know what, I didn't start a church to change you.

  416. I think I don't think I can change you. I didn't diwn the

  417. Cross, I didn't get resurrected. I don't think have the power to change

  418. you. But I will preach the world of God. Uh. And and

  419. if anything, I think the word of God will change you, and it

  420. would have to be your choice. So I say, you know what,

  421. at least you now know if he ever wants to if you ever want to

  422. come to a church that welcome you, you know where to look. So

  423. I don't know, all throughout my life, I've had encounters with people who

  424. who kind of like either they support the LGBT community or they come from the

  425. community. They have reached out, and I've always just responded in love.

  426. I mean, I try to do the best I can. Uh, one

  427. or two have decided not to talk to me ever again, but that's that's

  428. fine. So I think I think it's possible. I think it's possible to

  429. stand your ground, to stand on the side of true and still be able

  430. to reach out and love someone. Yeah, okay, cool. Someone asked

  431. about Lucifer again, could I JA fourteen twelve, which is exactly where you

  432. refer to. I think they're only in the King James's version, and I'm

  433. glad someone already did the reply with the ESV version. So thank you all

  434. for answering each other. There are some churches accepting same sex marriages and having

  435. LGBTQ pastors. I think that's one in KL. It's called Good Samaritan kre

  436. revengage with the church. Yeah, what's your opinion on this matter? That's

  437. not us. We won't do that. Okay. First of all, I

  438. won't be a LGBTQ pastor, but people are saying that about me, really

  439. yeah, yeah, yeah, as in, I'm a pastor that supports LGBTQ

  440. and we started the LGBTQ church. Anyway, it starts with G, though

  441. starts with G. There are some churches that accept same sex marriages. I

  442. don't know. By accepting, we mean they're already married, they came to

  443. church. I think that's one matter. But absolutely not conducting and officiating a

  444. same sex marriage. I think that I will not do. Uh, and

  445. I will not do because then that will be directly condoning, entirely agreeing with

  446. the lifestyle, and that I cannot bring myself to do. So that's as

  447. far as my opinion goes. I think, Yeah, No, there are

  448. churches that actually do that that in a sense when you talk about accepting,

  449. what they're actually saying is that they believe that at lgb monogamous lgbt marital relationship

  450. can be glorified to God. And I think it's an absolute abomination. Yeah.

  451. So the difference between pass and is passa andy actually has a filter,

  452. right, I don't, right, So I'll just say it's an abomination.

  453. It is No I know what they call me, Okay, And so Ultimately,

  454. I think it's an absolute abomination because you call yourself church, but don't

  455. you're not bound by the word. One of the ways that the apostle Paul

  456. defines the church is that the church is the pillar and buttress of truth,

  457. which means the church upholds something, and that which it upholds is a truth.

  458. Where does it get that truth from scripture? And the moment that a

  459. church rejects the authority of the word, it is an aposti church. It's

  460. not of God. It may call itself a church, but it might as

  461. well be a church of Satan. I know I'm not mincing my words.

  462. The reason I do that is this there are people that are in those churches

  463. that genuinely are convinced they're going to go to heaven, and you are being

  464. lied to. So I would love for you to open with me to First

  465. Corinthians chapter six, and I want to read verse nine. First Corinthians chapter

  466. six, verse nine, because it starts with important words. Important word do

  467. not be deceived? Right? So First Krinthians six, verse nine, it

  468. says First Corinthian sixty nine, or do you not know that the unrighteous will

  469. not inherit the kingdom? Of God. Do not be deceived. Neither the

  470. sexually moral, nor idolatous, nor adulters, nor men who practice homosexuality.

  471. No thieves, nor a greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swinless

  472. will inherit the Kingdom of God. I mean, is that clear that it

  473. says men who practice homosexuality. Now, if someone wants to question on well,

  474. the Greek word doesn't say homosexuality, I would love to address that.

  475. Yeah, because I've addressed that Christian before. Some say, well, that's

  476. just a misinterpretation of two Greek words mala ko and a saye koita. Bring

  477. that. I would love to address that. If that's our question you have,

  478. please bring that up. But the word day is it practices homosexuality,

  479. and it says that people who do that will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

  480. That's Scripture speaking. That's not my idea, that's New Testament. But

  481. I find something so powerful about what Paul says in verse nine, verse ten,

  482. sorry, verse eleven, and such were some of you. Verse eleven

  483. says and such were some of you. But you were washed, you were

  484. sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord. Jesus Christ and

  485. by the spirit of our God, which means friends the Corinthian Church. Did

  486. they used to have people who used to be gay? Yes? Or no?

  487. Yes? Did they used to have people who were lesbians? Yes?

  488. They is such. By the way, one of the words used in the

  489. Greek there is malachoi. Malakoi means a feminate. Right. They had men

  490. that were feminine in homosexual relationships. There were men that were abusing other men

  491. homosexual relationships. They had them all And Paul says, that's what you used

  492. to be. Such were some of you past tends. But you were washed,

  493. you were sanctified. Your new identity is that of Christ. So Paul

  494. expects that those who are part of this LGBT background to be able to be

  495. transformed just like every other sin. I mean, all of us were said

  496. as Christ founders. And if we can do that to every one of us,

  497. he can do that to the LGBT sins as well. And I think

  498. that's the gospel that we want to preach. All right, I'm gonna address

  499. one of the questions here, or rather one comments, and then go back

  500. to our topic, which is I think someone commented on whether we can delete

  501. irrelevant question is that? Okay? Where did he go? Is? Is

  502. there? Right? Okay? So I think someone commented that we should delete

  503. the irrelevant questions or commands. Can I address that real quick because I think

  504. this will also inform our future sessions. Also, I think for now we

  505. will not be deleting those so called so called irrelevant questions and command I tell

  506. you why. It's because we really really want to promote and open culture.

  507. Uh and and yeah, in open communication, open culture. And almost you

  508. start almost habitually deleting because someone is sitting somewhere and deciding he or herself is

  509. deciding tlation shiputy, I think you will create a problem. Uh and then

  510. it will send the wrong message. So for the sake of protecting the openness

  511. that we currently enjoy so far, I love the protect that if it's okay,

  512. So that means you yourself will have to do yourself censorship. You can

  513. you can ignore that. One way you can do is everybody starts voting for

  514. the questions that are relevant and push it up until like just not, I

  515. actually cannot find the comment anymore. I think somebody that I can't find it

  516. anymore, which is good, But I think we don't want to start deleting

  517. unless unless it's the F word LA, and then you say something like I'm

  518. not handsome LA. Not okay. If you say that to promote open communication,

  519. I will keep it there. Don't worry. It's gonna be fine.

  520. But using F wordler, using cuss words or like really really crude stuff,

  521. then will telete those, because I think we can all agree that that's that's

  522. rude and crude. He said, okay, he said, okay, just

  523. so I can explain why we haven't been deleting. Some of these comments are

  524. okay, and we're cool. And sometimes I don't know, Sometimes people genuinely

  525. want to know why it's handsome, or they genuinely I don't know. I

  526. just have to take it as they have to get it off their chest,

  527. you know, they want to say something, so okay, fine, fine.

  528. You know someone's asking how old is kenji single? How oldly semination?

  529. I don't want to assume that those are nonsense. Maybe someone really wants to

  530. know, like how are you so smart being so young? You know,

  531. So we can releave them there. Whether we answer them or not, it's

  532. another question, all right. Just it's just so that we can promote openness.

  533. Cool, all right, And someone actually said some questions scare me.

  534. Thanks for being honest. It scares me too, way so complete unrelated note.

  535. Yeah, one of the founders of the secularism movement. Well, I

  536. would say it's one of the early forerunners leading up to the secularist movement.

  537. It's a guy by the name of Frederick Nature. Some of you may have

  538. heard of him. Anyone knows that I actually bought a book that he wrote.

  539. Anyone knows the title of the book he wrote, Why am I So

  540. Smart? That's actually the title of that so irrelevant point, but sure,

  541. yeah, yes, sort of related. Okay, homosexuals saved or will they

  542. actually lose their servation if they practice homosexuality to the day they die? I

  543. think we answered it. I think we answered it. And again it's important

  544. because okay, it relates to the next question as I'll just read it so

  545. you can answer it one shot. What if a person who is gay just

  546. decides to be celebrate, are they still in the wrong? So I think

  547. this goes back to when we distinguish and deferentship between the disposition the attraction with

  548. the action the lifestyle. Right, and also it's important to see everyone as

  549. human beings in need of a God right. And so a hethro sexual person

  550. struggling with temptation is no different than someone with a homosexual tendency or attraction.

  551. It's the same temptation. Just like how I'm married and I could be attracted

  552. to another woman. I don't just get to go do it right, which

  553. is pretty much the argument on the other side. Oh it feels good,

  554. it's love, it must be right. No, no, no, but

  555. how can I doesn't apply to me right, So the same way I have

  556. to stay on the straight and narrow path, so will a person who has

  557. same sex attraction. If they want to live godly lives, then they may

  558. choose or they should choose to be celebrate h And you know, of course

  559. the miracle can happen. God can. God can do what he does a

  560. miracle, He can remove the attraction whatever God chooses to do. But yes,

  561. so if a person who is gay, I think we have to qualify

  562. that statement because if if by gay means they are acting on or they practice

  563. the lifestyle, then they're already not celebrate. Or if they practice before let's

  564. say, and then they repent and they stop. I don't think they're in

  565. the wrong. I think they're talking about if let's say you have the disposition

  566. the double one reason. Yeah, but they choose they have the disposition that

  567. they're attracted, but they choose to remain celibate. Yes, I think they

  568. are a saint. Yes. Yes. Do we know people at it?

  569. Yes? Yes, yes, we know people in our personal lives who live

  570. this way. We can name I mean we can well, I don't know

  571. if the person still has those attractions, but I can name the person.

  572. Trifina Law is a very close friend of mine past, the Trifina Law in

  573. fact, she's Her ministry is just publishing a book that the booklet that I

  574. wrote on dealing with Biblical overview on human sexuality. They're publishing it I think

  575. this week, if not next week. But the beautiful thing is that she

  576. shared that she was a practicing lesbian and then that that basically that God gave

  577. her liberation. So the title her ministry is actually called Pursuing Liberty under Christ.

  578. So we have people that we know and we encourage that. Yes,

  579. I'm in the midst of trying to invite her to come and speak to us

  580. and maybe the more and just speak a message, but actually equip us so

  581. that we can be ready as a church to know how to love people from

  582. the LGBTQ community. Should they choose to come and join us and learn about

  583. Jesus together with us? All right? Okay? I hope that those questions

  584. are answered. Someone asked, if we separate church from state and then we

  585. see injustices in society and political corruption, then does the church stay quiet because

  586. church should remain apolitical. Yeah. So anyway, this is probably therefore a

  587. case to not have secularism completely and not not necessarily separate the church from the

  588. state. I don't think it's it should be pursued. But my personal take,

  589. I don't think, well, a church can be bipartisan. That means

  590. you you don't have to support a particular party, so nonpartisan sorry, nonpartisan

  591. or is homosexual bisexual thing? Okay? Nonpartisan? That means a church shouldn't

  592. go out there and say, I think shouldn't opinion individually. If you want

  593. to, you to p peep pep Okay, this up to you. But

  594. the church, no generation, church texts whatever, but it's a national and

  595. we support you know, we start hanging flags. I think we should be

  596. non partisan. But I don't think a church needs to be a political I

  597. mean, if you understood what politics is is my opinion, going up in

  598. Malaysia as a young person, we will never taught politics properly. So I

  599. think that's the real problem, because once you understand politics, you understand politice.

  600. It touches everything we should care about politics, because if you care about

  601. your children, you better care about politics. You better care about what kind

  602. of policies are being made, who's making those policies, are those policies godly

  603. or not? And because it's in your hands right you have, you have

  604. the power to vote, to choose, you can influence what who goes into

  605. government. So I think a church should be political, but not partisans.

  606. I think that's a big difference. Therefore, should a church speak up against

  607. injustice? Of course, it's totally biblical and godly to do so. God

  608. speaks up against injustice. God speaks up for the poor, against those who

  609. who who bully the poor and the widows. So if you ask me,

  610. I think a church should be as political as we need to be, but

  611. nonpartisan. I think it's two different things. I was gonna say this is

  612. that One of the best examples to see this in action is John the Baptist.

  613. John a Baptist is one of the best examples of this because when you

  614. look through the life of John the Baptist, he ends up getting thrown into

  615. prison. Why because he spoke up against the adultery of Herod. Right,

  616. Herod was actually, you know, had married his brother's wife, Phillip's wife.

  617. And so the reason, well, John the Baptist speaks out against Herod

  618. so much that Herod actually, on the request of his wife, herodias throws

  619. him into prison. And you know what was beautiful about that story is the

  620. Bible tells us Herod used to go down to the prison to hear him preach.

  621. When your political condemnation becomes so biblical that even your enemies will come to

  622. hear you speak. They'll throw you, they'll punish you, they will do

  623. all this to you, but they realize that you're not the enemy. They

  624. realize that you care for them. They even come to the prison to hear

  625. you preach. That's what it means to be truly biblically politically inclined. I

  626. think politics is I totally agree it's a misunderstood subject. Politics is a broad

  627. banch of philosophy. It's under the branch of philosophy that deals deals with implementation

  628. of justice. How should we reign or rule in view of our view of

  629. God, in view of man, in view of ethics, all of these

  630. things put together, how do we implement it? Which is why one of

  631. the greatest philosophers of all time, whose name is Plato, what was one

  632. of the most famous books that Plato wrote, Anyone? The republiclic The Republic

  633. deals with what's the nature of politics? Not to be how the wise is

  634. supposed to be leading in the right place. It's all about organizing who goes

  635. where? Now politics is philosophical right today it's become sorry la pasam alamla sadly,

  636. but ultimately I think biblical politics is there. But ultimately, when we

  637. look through the scripture, we find that the Bible is not in favor of

  638. democracy, which I believe in the ultimate sense is more brew. I think

  639. the Bible is teaching theocracy God reigns. Ultimately, Jesus will be the one

  640. to bring that down. Every time the Church has tried to do it,

  641. the Church failed miserably. Right as worry whenever the church gets into power,

  642. it brings about the dark ages, but only Jesus can bring about perfect politics.

  643. But it doesn't stop the church from being from voicing out against bad politics.

  644. Yep, I hope the answers the question. Okay, this is a

  645. big personal fast. Say, for example, your child is the one who

  646. came and say that he or she is trans transsexual. How would you respond

  647. to them? Okay, I'm not sure if my child can tell me it's

  648. transsexual, because that don't mean he would have operated or completely transformed. And

  649. where you got the money from, I don't know unless you call my credit

  650. card. But maybe what you mean is that if my child came to say,

  651. like the identify as identify as trans or like identify as a demigirl or

  652. I am a whatever, right I think you mean that? Wow, this

  653. one is power out this question? Who in fact this is? This is?

  654. This is a question I believe God put on my hand as I was

  655. thinking about starting the church. You may have been there at the early stages

  656. when I said this. When I believe the Lord says plant the church,

  657. that it will welcome everybody, but preach the truth so that they know the

  658. truth and then I had to imagine the people that were walking to church.

  659. And in my mind, maybe it's a vision, maybe it's imagined, I

  660. don't know. By my mind, I see cross dresses walking into the hall,

  661. transgenders walking in through a hall, and and but no one's staring,

  662. and no one is judging, and we're all just worshiping Jesus together, and

  663. they are there, they feel at home. And then the word of God

  664. is preached in truth with passion. There was the picture, and I actually

  665. responded in this I don't know this dialogue I had. I think it's we've

  666. got I say, God, I'm not ready for that. I if that's

  667. what church is gonna have to be, I'm not ready for that. I

  668. don't know how to do this. I don't know if I can actually like

  669. not stay and judge. And how do I do it? I don't know

  670. how to do this? And I feel I heard this voice saying I will

  671. show you how. I will show you how. And I'm like God,

  672. but how? And then I had another flesh of imagination, and this imaginin

  673. is a bit more close to home where it was put to me to imagine

  674. maybe my own child or my own brother, and this way the rumor started.

  675. It was a vision and now people are sharing that my brother is gay.

  676. And I found out who was spraying a rumor. I spoke to him,

  677. already your sorry, sorry shorty, I'm miss hurt. I'm like,

  678. what to do? Is ready? Don't spreading to don't know where real are

  679. moricius or something. But but I was sharing this imagination, this vision,

  680. and I felt a lot saying like what if your own child, what if

  681. your own brother, your own family member is identifies as one of the algibutic

  682. comedy. And that's why I That's where I realized, you know what,

  683. when it's your when it's that close to you, are you have no choice,

  684. you know, you have no choice but to find a way to love

  685. his own brother, your own child. But in the same vein, because

  686. it's my own brother, own child, I will do everything I can in

  687. my power to fight it right, but ultimately is their choice. So it

  688. would there would be this this tension between love and justice, love and truth.

  689. But I became a bit more ready to start the church when I realized,

  690. yeah, when it's my own child, I will know how And that

  691. there was God's way of saying when you start the church and it just becomes

  692. your family and people start coming, you will know how. You will know

  693. how. And on that confidence that, on that grace of God, I

  694. said, Okay, let's start generations and be ready for that. So if

  695. my son really comes, I will tell you now, I will be I

  696. don't know what to do. Call and explain, Call explain, externational co

  697. pass the triphina. I don't know. I'll be heartbroken to when I first

  698. hear the news. It all depends how what age the boy is also the

  699. girl. Right, If they're like eight years old and tell me that,

  700. I was like, I don't think they really understand what they're saying. They

  701. probably heard it from school, or maybe they watch the video. I'll have

  702. conversations with them. But if they're eighteen or twenty two and say that,

  703. I think, you know, I want to choose the film path. I'll

  704. do everything I can as a father to say, really, is really what

  705. you want? Can I tell you what the Bible say? I'll do that

  706. with love. But ultimately I do think I have to surrender to a certain

  707. extent, uh, and I trust God to do to work a miracle,

  708. because really, what can I do lock him up. Sending to jail?

  709. What what like sending to an island? But there's only girls. You've been

  710. reading Thomas Aquinas, why not? I mean, not leave the island.

  711. I don't. I shouldn't say that. Now they think they're all context.

  712. All your past is adultress. Oh okay. It will be a very tough

  713. situation. But I will practice the same thing I said earlier. Even if

  714. it's my own son, I will. I will stand on truth because it's

  715. my own son. I'll our wrestle, our, wrestle, wrestle till I

  716. cannot wrestle no more. But still sure my own son or daughter that I

  717. love them so much that I want them to experience the love of God.

  718. Yeah. Cool, it's okay, five thirty one and a million questions.

  719. Let's go. So you're keep voting, okay, So they get pushed up

  720. the questions that really wants needs to be answered. So someone says, if

  721. I have a lying problem, He said, this is a salvation question.

  722. Again. If I have a lying problem, to the D I die.

  723. Am I not saved? If it is no, you go ahead. Yeah,

  724. yeah, I would say that if you have a lying problem, which

  725. means you know that lying is wrong, but you continuously do it even though

  726. you know is wrong. You should start to question your salvation. Now.

  727. Look, what I'm not saying is you're not saved. I didn't say you're

  728. not saved. I said you should start to question your salvation. Why the

  729. Bible says in First John, he who is born of God does not make

  730. a habit of sitting right, That's what scripture says. I'm not there to

  731. be the judge and say whether you're saved or not. Jesus will do that.

  732. All I can say is if you question your salvation now, and you

  733. go back to God and say what's wrong, and you go back to God

  734. in repentance and say, God help me, I do have this problem.

  735. Change me and he changes you. Great. But if you are unrepentant about

  736. it and it doesn't bother you one bit, then please, you have reason

  737. to fear. I'll be a liar if I told you it's all okay,

  738. No, no worry. Jesus died for your sins, past, present,

  739. future. Just go and sin as much as you want and He'll be okay.

  740. I'll be a lion, I'll be held accomfortable God for God to God

  741. for saying such things, and I won't right if you have. If you

  742. notice you make a habit of sinning, and it is something you knowingly,

  743. do you have reason to be afraid. Go and turn to God in repentance.

  744. He will give you comfort. Notice what I'm not saying and your sinning,

  745. so that you are saved. Never said that. What I said is

  746. go to God that he may create in you. So when David's sin,

  747. he makes it God's problem. You know what David did when he said,

  748. goes to God and says, create in me a clean heart or Lord,

  749. he makes it God's problem. Make it God's problem. But don't live comfortable

  750. with it. If you are not at war with sin, you are at

  751. war with God. If you're at war with God, you at peace with

  752. sin. Right, So it's one way or the other. You can only

  753. have peace with God and war with sin, or peace with sin and war

  754. with God. Let us let our peace be with God. Let's always be

  755. at war with our sins. In fact, I just add this this one

  756. thing, one of the most Did I share this before be angry and do

  757. not sin? Do not let the sun go down on your anger? Did

  758. I share Have I sheard that here you have you heard the passage in scripture

  759. that says, be angry and do not sin, do not let the sun

  760. that was in the Greek. Go ahead, You're gonna say something. Oh

  761. no, no, no, go ahead, yeah in in in pass Andy

  762. knows what I'm about to say. In the Greek. Some people think that

  763. that passage means settle your issues before nightfall. The Bible says this is an

  764. efficients for something or five something I can't remember, four or five. It

  765. says, be angry and do not sin, do not let the sun set

  766. on your anger. People think it means settle your issues before nightfall. Doesn't

  767. say that. In the Greek. Be angry is a command, be angry

  768. and don't sin. In other words, our sins ought to enrage you so

  769. much that we stop sitting. In fact, it goes on to say don't

  770. let your son, don't let the sun go down on your anger, which

  771. is a reference to an Old Testament battle where Joshua says to the sun,

  772. you stay still until I destroy. Yeah, thank you. There's ephicians for

  773. twenty six. Be angry and do not sin, do not let the sun

  774. go down on your anger. Joshua says to the sun, be still until

  775. I've destroyed the enemy. Don't set until I've destroyed my enemies. The apostle

  776. Paul is drawing that battle seed metaphor to tell us, don't settle with your

  777. sin until you've destroyed it. Don't let the sun go down on that anger.

  778. You stay angry until you've put it to death. Mortify the sin.

  779. Next verse says, what does the next verse say, and give no opportunity

  780. to the devil? Awesome? Okay, all right? Great um. In

  781. Genesis six wig, it's mentioned God regretted that he made men on earth.

  782. How how did the author know what God was thinking? You got to address

  783. that God told him. Now there's a passage. Now, so is he

  784. asking about what's the meaning of regret? Or how did I think he's asking?

  785. How did the author know that what God was thinking to say that,

  786. to say that God regret it? Yeah, well, let's let's go to

  787. First Samuel fifteen. We see an example of similar language, but in fir

  788. Samuel fifteen, God actually shows the explains it to the prophet. So it's

  789. got the First Samuel fifteen, No, not one fifteen, but First Samuel

  790. chapter fifteen and I want you to see when the Lord comes to Saul,

  791. what does the Lord say? So the Lord speaks to Samuel, and this

  792. is what the Lord says to Samuel. Right, worse ten? Can we

  793. have worse? Ten? Up? Please for Samuel? Fifteen Verse ten all

  794. right, word, if the Lord came to Samuel next worse, I regret

  795. that I have made Saul king, for he has turned back from following me

  796. and has not performed my commandments. So God actually says to Samuel that I

  797. regret. So now Samuel is gonna go to Paul. Well, it's gonna

  798. go to Saul, not Paul. Goodness, I'm getting confused. He's gonna

  799. go to Saul and says that he's going to tell him that God does not

  800. regret. Actually, so I want you to go to Now what worse is

  801. that that was? If you find it, let me know what it is.

  802. This is in Worse for Samuel fifteen. Samuel will go and say the

  803. Lord is not a man that he should regret. Oh, what's twenty nine

  804. verse twenty nine? Wor'se twenty nine? Yeah? And he says, now

  805. this is Samuel speaking to Sault. So God told Samuel he regrets Samuel is

  806. going to go to Saul and say, also, the glory of Israel will

  807. not lie or have regret. Sorry, Samuel, didn't God just tell you

  808. you regret? He regretted, Yes, but he means it in a different

  809. sense. Right. If you want to discuss how is it that God regrets

  810. on the one hand, but does not regret in another hand, we can

  811. have an entire discussion on that. I've done a bit of a work on

  812. this. So he says, the glory of isnil, we'll not lie and

  813. have regret, which means in the ultimate sense, God's plans will stand.

  814. But when God speaks to Samuel, he's expressing that he has this sense of

  815. just complete disgust for what Saul did. And at the end of the chapter,

  816. if you go to the end of the chapter, the last words the

  817. very last verse, verse thirty five, and Samuel did not see Saul again

  818. until the day of his death. But Samuel grieved Oversaull, and the Lord

  819. regretted that he had made Saul king over Israel. Your question is how did

  820. how did they know that God regretted? Well, same way that for Samuel.

  821. Fifteen thirty five tells us God regretted. God told the prophet directly he

  822. regretted. So I think that that will be the short answer to that question.

  823. Yeah. So I'm looking at time and look at the questions. I

  824. just feel like we wish, we wish we had unlimited time to todays.

  825. And I'm thinking, you know, how, how better can we do this?

  826. Maybe a podcast one day? Maybe maybe this God he used to do

  827. this God right once a month and answer questions for two hours, uh,

  828. sometimes longer, I don't know. Yeah, yeahs as the Lord keeps us

  829. resources, well we'll do more. We'll do more stuff like that, all

  830. right, because on a Saturday like this and so many questions because I feel

  831. like I want to answer them all but I can't. But I do want

  832. to answer this one. And maybe we've got time for two or three more

  833. and we can do some rapid fire ones. This is not quite related to

  834. the topic per se, but it's related to what we've spoken about so far.

  835. So it says here, if if church, and I will assume that

  836. you're you're referring to this church. Yeah, if church is supposed to be

  837. welcoming to all, what can you do to be more welcoming? Now?

  838. Because I haven't felt welcome. Is it my fault or the churches? Who?

  839. Who are you here? Please stand up? Like? Ah, I

  840. don't. I really don't know whose fault it is, because it could be

  841. the church's fault. If it's something we can do about it and haven't done,

  842. is it your fault? I won't go as farst to say that,

  843. because what did you do or not do that? Maybe your fault? Right?

  844. Is it not a fault? Maybe it's not a fault thing. Now

  845. I would say this, I would say this. First of all, I'm

  846. so sorry that you have felt not welcome in this church. I don't know

  847. what happened, and that's not our intention. We never want anyone to feel

  848. unwelcome here. Secondly, I wish I can know what we can do better

  849. for you for you, because once again, there is no one blanket answer.

  850. I don't know if you're an introvert or an extrovert. I don't know

  851. if you came to church and want no one to talk to you, because

  852. that's not why you came to chest for there are people at that. If

  853. you're talking to me, ah, please don't talk to me. I just

  854. came to worship Jesus. And if we do that, because we assume that

  855. that's how we make people feel welcome, for you, you'll be very big

  856. turn off, right for the extrovert who loves people and no one talks to

  857. you. Ah, you feel it, You're like, how comes in my

  858. face? Is my just seeing why? Well? You want to talk to

  859. me? But it's impossible to know. And that's why that's why we try

  860. to work so hard to have an open culture where I hope it's safe in

  861. our space for you. Just come and tell someone you're comfortable telling. You

  862. can come and tell me. If you're not comfortable telling me, tell someone

  863. that can feed back to me and say, the reason I don't feel welcome

  864. in this church is because dot dot, because no one talked to me,

  865. because too many people talk to me, because my questions always don't get answered.

  866. It could be that I don't feel we come acasso they never bring my

  867. questions, or you don't feel welcome because you don't get your favorite seats,

  868. or you know, people keep forgetting your name. They talk to you,

  869. but they keep asking you if you're new here, and it's your you've been

  870. here for a year. I don't know what the reason is. But number

  871. one, I'm sorry you feel that way. Number Two, I really wish

  872. I knew how to because once I know, I'll do everything I can to

  873. do that because I don't think it's your fault, and I'm not sure if

  874. it's just just for if we don't know what it is. But yeah,

  875. it pains me to hear this feedback, but I want to do something about

  876. it. So if you're here and you ask the question, could you help

  877. us help you and others who may be like you so that we can do

  878. something about it? Is that all right? Thank you? All your responses

  879. to questions in the lgbt context applies to anyone leaving out a sinful lifestyle,

  880. correct, So, yes, we've been saying that if you leave that lifestyle

  881. you act upon it, then that's wrong. And the question here is if

  882. so, if it's just refers to people who live out their lifestyle, and

  883. that's wrong, and that's what we are against. Why do we give LGBTQ

  884. such special treatment? Why are we talking about it so much? Love to

  885. address this, let me, let me, let me deal with this.

  886. In thirty seconds, were looking at the clock. That simple reason activism,

  887. activism sexually. Adultery is pornography, is why don't we talk as much about

  888. that? Do you see a movement to say, let's ordain past us who

  889. addicted upon Do you see a movement that says we want to ordain past us

  890. who adulter us too? Do you see a movement saying we want to ordain

  891. past us for thieves? You don't, it's wrong. Everyone knows it's wrong.

  892. But when it comes to LGBTQ, there's an activism that says we must

  893. ordain even past us who. Okay, that's why twenty seconds, twenty five

  894. seconds, all right, great activism is the answer. Yes, And also

  895. politically, it's also sipping into education and because to promote their lifestyle you have

  896. to go all the way back to what is a man or a woman?

  897. If you teach kids that you can choose your gender and stuff like that,

  898. so you go, it goes all the way to that. And that's why

  899. it's so important. That's why it's not because it's the biggest sin. No,

  900. and not because that you know, God's more interested in this topic,

  901. is not. So it's just because there is a very active movement to promote

  902. it, and it's sipping into like education and family systems and politics and governments

  903. and things like that. And that's why it's we need to speak up also,

  904. which is why I said number four, I'm at war with the agenda.

  905. I'm at war with the LGBT agenda. It's the activism I'm at war

  906. with. That's why keep bringing it up. Which is one of the questions

  907. to you, like why you're so against the agenda which you have already mentioned,

  908. because it's the greatest editor of the person. It normalizes the condition.

  909. If if if you had a movement of people that said, well cancer is

  910. okay, don't fight it, don't white treat it, embrace cancer, lifestyle

  911. doctors will be up in the hums. You know. It's like, what's

  912. going on, You're harming people. That's what it is. Is that when

  913. people say COVID is nothing exactly, just drink warm water and and and if

  914. you don't speak up against it or something like that, then then that that

  915. message is perpetuated in and when it comes to cancer and covid, those are

  916. things that affect your temporal condition. Friends, This affects your eternal condition.

  917. Yes, okay, okay, I know we should fight it. But have

  918. you heard of people at Brendan Roberson have you? I haven't. Yes.

  919. If we try to reach out to Brandan to get a dialogue with him as

  920. well, great. Uh. They spread the idea that the Bible can be

  921. wrong, and you know, and how do you respond? Easy? That's

  922. what we call progressive Christianity. And here's the thing. Progressive Christianity is neither

  923. progressive, not Christianity. Uh, it's it's rehashing all ideas back again.

  924. It's a total and utter rejection of God's word, which makes the question why

  925. call it Christian? Right? So, Brendan Robertson doesn't believe the Bible is

  926. the infallible word of God, and so he believes Paul was, you know,

  927. a bit off. Everyone's a bit off. Basically, these guys are

  928. the ultimate authority. Scripture is God's word only if it agrees with them,

  929. and a moment that scripture contradicts them, it's no longer God work, God's

  930. word friends the real God, and that entire narrative is them themselves. They

  931. get to decide what is God's word and what is not. Yeah. So,

  932. by the way, Brendan Robertson did a debate with Durbin got absolutely destroyed,

  933. tried to do it with Trent Horn, got destroyed all over again.

  934. So he honestly there was once he was actually I don't know how many of

  935. you watched this video of Brendan Robertson. He was actually saying spouting blasphemy and

  936. saying, well, you know what, God accepts elga And there was a

  937. lightning sound in his own entire system when black. How many of you saw

  938. that on YouTube? And if you saw that there was a lightning strike his

  939. entire system when black, you can look up that and look that up in

  940. YouTube. As he's spouting blasphemy, there was a lightning strike. Okay,

  941. yeah, and yeah. Another response to how do we respond to people a

  942. bend or represent name podcasts, The Christianity is doing this, doing this,

  943. I think, I think the church has a responsibility and guilty to teach the

  944. word of God, to be faithful to the world of God, faithful to

  945. the Bible. And we do the best we can. We do the best

  946. we can and uh, and that's why this is so important for our church,

  947. and that's why we have sessions like this and we'll find other ways as

  948. well to really know God's Word all right. Thank you for listening to the
