  1. Welcome to the Willow Ridge Sermons Podcast.

  2. We're so glad you chose to listen today.

  3. This week, we take a moment to reflect on the past year with gratitude

  4. and look ahead with hope and purpose.

  5. This intentional time of prayer is focused on thanking God for His love,

  6. growing in our faith, stepping into the mission He's given us,

  7. and supporting those serving in the mission field, both near and far.

  8. Take this time to center your heart on God's faithfulness

  9. and align with His plans for what's next.

  10. Thanks for listening.

  11. The Apostle Paul writes, and I apologize, this verse isn't on the screen,

  12. but he says at the end of Ephesians, when he's talking about the armor of God,

  13. and he's gone through and he's broken down and explained all of this.

  14. And he says this, he says,

  15. praying at all times in the Spirit with all prayer and supplication.

  16. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.

  17. And we see this throughout God's Word, God's people, the importance of coming before their Creator,

  18. coming before their Savior, coming privately before Him, coming publicly before Him,

  19. coming in isolation alone before Him, and coming in community before Him.

  20. So today, what we kind of do is we'll work through this prayer guide,

  21. and if this is your first time, I'll explain this.

  22. What we're going to do is we're going to corporately work through this together

  23. as you privately come before God.

  24. And if you're a family here with your kids, you might decide to gather around your table

  25. that you're going to do these things together, and that's great, and that's fine.

  26. Maybe you want to do this individually by yourself,

  27. but I want to encourage all of us to engage with the Lord in this.

  28. If you're a family that's here, and you've got little ones,

  29. this might be the longest period of time that they're having to be here in a prayer service or like this,

  30. and I know that it can be difficult, I know it can be hard,

  31. I know that they're going to make noise, and that's okay, right?

  32. That's okay, that's good, that's good.

  33. And what I want to encourage you young parents with, with little ones,

  34. is this, that number one, all of us have been where you're at,

  35. and we commend you for what you're doing.

  36. We commend you in the difficulty of all that it is to get them out on this rainy morning

  37. where they're going to be loud, and they might spill something,

  38. they might do all of these things.

  39. We commend you for it, because you're discipling them,

  40. and you're showing them the power and the importance

  41. and the obedience of what it means to be a person that comes before the Lord in prayer.

  42. So hopefully all of you around, you'll see one of these prayer guides.

  43. I want to challenge you that you not just use this prayer guide this morning,

  44. but that you can take this prayer guide and that you can use it over the course of the year.

  45. What we'll do is we'll work through each of these four sections.

  46. We'll have a time of prayer of praise,

  47. we'll have a time of prayer of discipleship,

  48. a prayer of mission,

  49. and a prayer of partner, four partnerships.

  50. In each one of these, it's got a Bible verse that connects back to why we are praying for these particular things,

  51. and then gives you some suggestions of how you can pray within there.

  52. Some people, when you talk to them about prayer, they're like,

  53. like, I want to pray, but I don't know how to get started.

  54. I want to pray, but I don't know what to do.

  55. First, we know that the Holy Spirit is in you as a follower of Jesus Christ,

  56. and in the power of him, he will pray for you when you don't know what to pray.

  57. But also with this, it just kind of gives a way of discipleship to point our heart of what we'll be doing.

  58. So we'll work through these over time together.

  59. What I'll do is I'll say, we'll enter in time for this topic of a prayer of praise.

  60. We'll read the Bible verse, maybe say a few words about it,

  61. and then I'll ask you to bow your heads and close your eyes,

  62. and then I will read for you each one.

  63. And so we'll have that time to go through that.

  64. At the very end, we have our prayer for our partnerships.

  65. I was able to connect with most of our partners,

  66. and you'll see that on the front and then continued over on the back

  67. are some very specific prayer requests for each one of our missions partners,

  68. our gospel partners.

  69. Now, we won't read over all of those,

  70. but maybe this morning when we go into that time to pray for our partners,

  71. there's one that kind of captures your heart.

  72. And you can spend some time right there, right there praying.

  73. So before we go into our time of prayer,

  74. I would like to lead us in a time of prayer

  75. as we prepare our hearts for all that God would have for us.

  76. God, I thank you for each and every individual who is here.

  77. I thank you for every family and every family that is represented.

  78. God, as we come into this time,

  79. Lord, in the power of your spirit,

  80. would you point our minds and our hearts back at this past year?

  81. Lord, we thank you as a church.

  82. Lord, we thank you for all of the baptisms.

  83. We thank you for the faithfulness, Lord, that you provided in the giving.

  84. God, we thank you in the mobilization of people.

  85. God, we thank you for the volunteers that serve faithfully.

  86. We thank you for people who took steps of growth and leadership.

  87. We thank you for people who came and sought counseling

  88. to work through difficult areas in their life.

  89. God, we thank you for our partnerships that you opened, that you expanded.

  90. God, we thank you for what you've done in our lives and in our hearts.

  91. And so, God, we come together, united as a body, thanking you and praising you

  92. and looking back, Lord, on all that you've done,

  93. but we're looking forward to all that you're going to do.

  94. Lord, we're here with eager anticipation of not what we can accomplish,

  95. but, God, of what you can accomplish, what you're going to accomplish.

  96. Lord, and we thank you, Lord, we thank you that you choose to use us.

  97. That you will point times and places for us to be for your name, for your glory.

  98. So, God, from every age here, God, as we go into this time of prayer,

  99. may it be glorifying and honoring to you.

  100. And it's in Jesus' name we pray, amen, amen, amen.

  101. So, our first time that we're going to have together, our first topic,

  102. our first is going to be to offering a prayer of praise.

  103. We want to come before God and thank him, right?

  104. Before we come with our list of what we want, what we hope, what we desire,

  105. that we need to spend time coming before him, thanking him for who he is,

  106. for his nature, for his character, for his goodness, for his love.

  107. Psalm 107.1 says,

  108. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.

  109. Oftentimes, we think that our praise comes in song,

  110. that our praise comes when we speak that back and forth to one another,

  111. and it does.

  112. It does.

  113. But how good is it to come before God and just thank him for who he is?

  114. Would you bow your heads as we go into this time of prayer?

  115. I want to encourage you as you go into this time.

  116. Remember, thank God for his unfailing love for you,

  117. for his grace and mercy,

  118. and for your salvation.

  119. If you continue in a posture and an attitude of prayer,

  120. if you were to ask me to describe my wife

  121. and what she means for me

  122. and what she does for our family,

  123. I would use the word sacrificial.

  124. I've watched her for years sacrifice for her family.

  125. And you've known people like that in your life,

  126. that when you think of them,

  127. one word comes to your mind.

  128. What I encourage you to do this time

  129. is when you think about God,

  130. what is that word that comes to your mind?

  131. Maybe it's his love, his goodness,

  132. his kindness, his holiness.

  133. Come to him in whatever that word is

  134. that describes God to you.

  135. Praise him for it.

  136. Thank you.

  137. Again, continuing in a posture of prayer.

  138. One of my favorite words in the Bible

  139. is remember.

  140. Remember.

  141. Especially with Israel

  142. and their wandering.

  143. Especially in Israel

  144. when they enter in the promised land.

  145. They are called to remember.

  146. To remember back

  147. to what God has done in their life.

  148. So many times we want to look forward

  149. to what we want God to do.

  150. That we forget

  151. to remember

  152. and to look back

  153. and to see his faithfulness

  154. and his hand at work.

  155. I know in this room right now,

  156. this past year

  157. came with its difficulties.

  158. Relational difficulties,

  159. marriage difficulties,

  160. work difficulties,

  161. health difficulties.

  162. wasn't easy for anyone.

  163. But you saw,

  164. because I know of God's goodness,

  165. how God worked and moved

  166. in the midst of that difficulty.

  167. How he used it to grow you.

  168. How he and he alone sustained you.

  169. How he provided for you.

  170. And how he cared for you.

  171. So as difficult as that situation was,

  172. God used it.

  173. So I want you to go to him right now

  174. and thank him for that situation.

  175. As difficult as it may be.

  176. Thank him that he did not waste it,

  177. but he grew you.

  178. He sustained you,

  179. that he provided,

  180. and that he cared for you.

  181. Would you go to him now?

  182. Thank you.

  183. Thank you.

  184. Thank you.

  185. God, we come to you

  186. and we thank you

  187. for your goodness,

  188. for your love.

  189. Thank you, Lord,

  190. for how you worked and moved

  191. in every situation,

  192. for your name

  193. and for your glory.

  194. And I thank you.

  195. May we remember

  196. your faithfulness

  197. as we look forward

  198. to see your hand work.

  199. In Jesus' name we pray.

  200. Amen.

  201. Amen.

  202. Thank you guys for that.

  203. We've got some more

  204. that we're going to walk through.

  205. Our next one that we're going to do

  206. is we're going to go into

  207. a prayer of discipleship.

  208. I want to take this to share.

  209. We're so excited about

  210. where we're continuing

  211. to go forward

  212. in the ministry of our church.

  213. And I want to encourage you

  214. as you look at discipleship

  215. in your own life

  216. that you would take this time

  217. and an opportunity to reflect

  218. as it's a great year

  219. at the first of the year.

  220. It's a great time of the year

  221. to begin to build in

  222. those new disciplines

  223. within your life.

  224. Things to grow you

  225. and make you healthier.

  226. And part of what God has for us

  227. or all that God has for us

  228. in Christ

  229. is for us to be able to grow

  230. as a disciple

  231. so that we can grow

  232. in our knowledge

  233. and our obedience to him

  234. so that God can continue

  235. to use us

  236. to share his gospel

  237. to those around us

  238. and to minister

  239. to those around us.

  240. Peter writes in 2 Peter 3.18,

  241. I love that.

  242. Peter's challenge is this.

  243. Don't become complacent.

  244. Don't think I'm good.

  245. Continue to grow

  246. and grow and grow.

  247. Grow in the grace.

  248. Grow in the knowledge

  249. of Jesus Christ

  250. of who he has for you.

  251. So we're going to enter

  252. into a time

  253. where you are going to look

  254. for God to reveal to you

  255. the areas in your life

  256. that God wants to grow you

  257. as you move forward.

  258. Let's pray.

  259. God, show us in our hearts

  260. and in our lives

  261. the areas that we need

  262. to surrender to you

  263. and that we may grow

  264. more

  265. into what it means

  266. to reflect Christ.

  267. As you begin this time of prayer

  268. under the guidance

  269. and the power

  270. and the revelation

  271. of the Holy Spirit

  272. ask God to show you

  273. specific areas of your life

  274. that need spiritual growth.

  275. God bless you this time of prayer

  276. and that we may have

  277. that need spiritual growth.

  278. God bless you this time of prayer

  279. and that we may have

  280. that need spiritual growth.

  281. God bless you this time of prayer

  282. and that we may have

  283. that need spiritual growth.

  284. God bless you this time of prayer

  285. and that need spiritual growth.

  286. God bless you this time of prayer

  287. and that need spiritual growth.

  288. God bless you this time of prayer

  289. and that need spiritual growth.

  290. God bless you this time of prayer

  291. and that need spiritual growth.

  292. God bless you this time of prayer

  293. and that need spiritual growth.

  294. God bless you this time of prayer

  295. and that need spiritual growth.

  296. God bless you this time of prayer

  297. and that need spiritual growth.

  298. God bless you this time of prayer

  299. and that need spiritual growth.

  300. God bless you this time of prayer

  301. as God reveals

  302. where he desires to grow you.

  303. You've probably been

  304. have in his kindness

  305. been made aware

  306. of some sin in your life.

  307. That's good.

  308. It's good.

  309. It's not that you're caught

  310. and being punished.

  311. It's that God's revealed it to you

  312. and wants to grow you.

  313. So what I would encourage you

  314. to do in this time

  315. is to repent.

  316. To repent.

  317. To admit, to confess,

  318. to come before him

  319. to acknowledge your sin

  320. and in that

  321. what you will experience,

  322. what you will receive

  323. is the goodness of his grace.

  324. Would you go before him now

  325. in confession and repentance?

  326. Thank you.

  327. As you continue to pray to him, we've got all the specific areas that we need, but I'm going to ask that we as a church, over this year, have a prayer that we join together in.

  328. A request that we all individually make known to God, that God very specifically would grow you and grow me and grow each one of us.

  329. So that very specifically, in a world that is divided, in a world filled with hatred and anger and selfish pursuits of the heart,

  330. that very specifically what may be seen in you and I is the fruit of the Spirit.

  331. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

  332. Pray, right now, that those traits, those qualities, that that fruit of the Spirit would be evident in you,

  333. but also to those around you.

  334. Would you pray?

  335. Would you pray?

  336. Would you pray?

  337. God, I'm going to look at the areas of my life that are lacking.

  338. Lord, I see a part of this wonderful singular fruit, the fruit of the Spirit that I need.

  339. God, may this season, may this year be time for us as a church that we intentionally long for and pray for,

  340. the fruit of the Spirit in our lives.

  341. That this fruit and the growth in that would be evident to us, that we see it in ourselves,

  342. that we see our response of love and joy of peace,

  343. to be a people of patience and kindness and goodness,

  344. to exude faithfulness and gentleness,

  345. to see self-control in our life.

  346. But that also, Lord, that it may be evident to those around us,

  347. within our homes and in our neighborhoods,

  348. our work and our schools,

  349. in the grocery stores,

  350. in the shops.

  351. May when people see us,

  352. they think they're looking at us,

  353. but they're seeing the work

  354. of the Spirit of God.

  355. God, may our hearts be united in this prayer.

  356. In Jesus' name we pray.

  357. Amen.

  358. Amen.

  359. We're going to talk a prayer of mission.

  360. I had somebody ask,

  361. what do you think the number one strategy is to reach a community for Christ?

  362. And I said, you know, I don't believe that it's a program.

  363. I think programs are great.

  364. I don't think it's an organized ministry.

  365. I think organized ministries are great.

  366. But I think the best way to reach a community for Jesus Christ

  367. is when the people of God realize that they are the missionaries of God.

  368. And that each one of you where you live,

  369. where you live, work, and play carry with you the ability and the power to share the gospel.

  370. But that God has specifically placed you in a mission field.

  371. Specifically, specifically placed you in a mission field.

  372. Sometimes you don't see it.

  373. I love to go.

  374. I love to go all over the world.

  375. Dave and I were talking this morning about some of the different opportunities that we're having for men and women and our kids to go this next year.

  376. And we're excited about what it means for us to pack up and go.

  377. But that's just a small sampling of what God has for us.

  378. And what I want us to focus in on praying about today is that God has for each one of us, for you and I,

  379. the call on our life to be missionaries.

  380. God's word tells us in Acts 1, Jesus tells us,

  381. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.

  382. And you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and all of Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.

  383. Some of you may never get on a plane with me and go to the ends of the earth.

  384. But you can walk across the street and be the missionary right where God has placed you.

  385. And both of those, both of those are important in the ministry of God.

  386. So would you pray with me?

  387. God, help us have hearts of missionaries.

  388. God, each and every one of us,

  389. God, if there is air in our lungs,

  390. if our heart is pumping,

  391. God, then there's a story for us to tell.

  392. So God, whether we're retired or just starting our career,

  393. whether we're in school or wondering what's next,

  394. whether we're staying at home or constantly on the go,

  395. whether we're seven or 97,

  396. God, as followers of Christ,

  397. you've called us to be missionaries.

  398. God, may we be obedient to you.

  399. In your time of prayer,

  400. maybe this is a different prayer than you've ever asked.

  401. I want you to come before God this morning

  402. and not ask,

  403. God, what mission trip do I need to go on?

  404. But instead, ask God to show you

  405. the mission field that he has for you here

  406. in your community,

  407. in your Jerusalem,

  408. right where God has placed you.

  409. Would you go to him now?

  410. Would you go to him now?

  411. So you've been thinking about a place,

  412. praying for a place.

  413. Maybe it was a ball field.

  414. Maybe it was a shop you frequent.

  415. Maybe it was a neighborhood.

  416. Maybe it was a place of employment.

  417. But now I want you to pray for a person.

  418. A person.

  419. You may want to start big,

  420. but I would encourage each one of us

  421. to start small.

  422. And pray for someone in your life.

  423. And right now,

  424. God has placed them on your heart.

  425. And you know,

  426. without a doubt,

  427. that they do not have a saving relationship

  428. with Jesus Christ.

  429. What I want you to do

  430. is I want you to pray for them.

  431. I want you to pray for your opportunity

  432. that God has for you

  433. to share Jesus with them.

  434. And I admit,

  435. this is a scary prayer to pray

  436. for most of us,

  437. for many of us.

  438. But God will not send you

  439. where God is not working.

  440. God will not send you to do

  441. what God has not equipped you to do.

  442. He is preparing the way.

  443. He is preparing your heart.

  444. He is empowering you to do it.

  445. Maybe that person is in your home.

  446. Maybe that person is across the street.

  447. Maybe that person is at your work.

  448. Maybe that person is in your school.

  449. But I want you to pray

  450. for that person right now.

  451. Pray that God would begin

  452. to work in their heart

  453. for the gospel,

  454. even before you have a conversation.

  455. And that God would give you

  456. an opportunity to share

  457. and that you would be obedient to do so.

  458. Would you go to Him now?

  459. God, I pray for my church family.

  460. God, I pray for myself.

  461. God, that this year

  462. would not be a year of excuses.

  463. But this year

  464. will be a time

  465. of desperately seeking

  466. opportunities to share Jesus.

  467. God, to tell our story

  468. of what you've done in our life.

  469. To tell our story

  470. of your faithfulness.

  471. To tell our story

  472. of how you've moved.

  473. Because our story

  474. is your story.

  475. And may we be faithful to share.

  476. And it's in Jesus' name we pray.

  477. Amen.

  478. Amen.

  479. All right, so lastly,

  480. we're going to go into a time

  481. of looking at our partnerships

  482. and praying for our partners.

  483. One of the things that I love

  484. is that God has opened doors for us

  485. literally that start right here

  486. on our campus

  487. and extend all the way

  488. to the other side of the world.

  489. That God allows us,

  490. if you look over on the back,

  491. just two that are right here

  492. in our community.

  493. Project 153

  494. that meets in our kitchen

  495. on Wednesdays

  496. to prepare meals

  497. to take to downtown Columbia

  498. to feed the homeless men

  499. and women

  500. and oftentimes families

  501. that are there.

  502. But it's not just

  503. hand them a meal

  504. and move on.

  505. It's hand them a meal

  506. and share Jesus with them.

  507. Maybe you want to pray for them.

  508. It's our ministry

  509. right down the road

  510. at White Knoll Elementary

  511. in our snack pack ministry.

  512. That it's an opportunity

  513. for us to come alongside

  514. with kids

  515. who might not have a meal

  516. that weekend

  517. if not for the food

  518. that was prepared for them

  519. and packed

  520. and placed

  521. into their bags.

  522. Had wonderful opportunities

  523. to minister

  524. to some of those families

  525. even though it's done

  526. anonymously

  527. in the beginning

  528. but we have opportunities

  529. to connect with them later.

  530. Maybe you want to pray for them.

  531. Continue on

  532. just on the back

  533. to pray for our partners

  534. in India,

  535. Sam and Susan.

  536. To pray for them

  537. as they are facing

  538. some very specific battles

  539. in the area

  540. in which they live

  541. and the difficulty

  542. and the oppression

  543. that they feel

  544. but the desire

  545. that they have

  546. to see many

  547. come to know the Lord.

  548. Maybe it's in prayer

  549. for Rodney

  550. and Jesse Ogle

  551. who were some

  552. of our partners

  553. at Black Mountain

  554. Children's Home

  555. right down the road.

  556. Many of you know Rodney.

  557. Many of you know Jesse.

  558. You know all that they have,

  559. all that they face.

  560. And here's some personal

  561. prayer requests for them

  562. but also some

  563. big picture

  564. prayer requests

  565. as they look

  566. to the future

  567. and to the rebuild

  568. of what God

  569. has for them.

  570. Maybe to pray

  571. for Hans

  572. and Brandy Ostrom

  573. who are in Toronto,

  574. Canada.

  575. To pray for them

  576. as their family

  577. as they're walking

  578. through a season

  579. of where this past year

  580. Brandy's father

  581. passed away.

  582. but also looking

  583. for opportunities

  584. to expand their ministry

  585. and to share the gospel.

  586. To turn back over

  587. on the front,

  588. Daryl and Christina.

  589. I guarantee you

  590. who are live streaming

  591. us right now

  592. from the Philippines

  593. and who are excited

  594. to engage in this

  595. with us.

  596. Daryl who will be

  597. returning to the States

  598. in April

  599. so that he can have

  600. a much needed surgery

  601. but also for their ministry

  602. as they continue

  603. to pour into the village

  604. surrounding them

  605. so that they can minister

  606. and share the gospel.

  607. And then last

  608. but definitely not least

  609. is the wonderful ministry

  610. of Walter

  611. and Veronica Valencia

  612. who pastored the church

  613. Walter does so faithfully

  614. for our partnership

  615. that we have

  616. in New York City.

  617. Pray for them

  618. and their ministry.

  619. Pray for them

  620. and their marriage.

  621. Pray for them

  622. as they share

  623. with their church family

  624. and the desire

  625. in a ministry

  626. where people come

  627. and go very quickly

  628. to get them

  629. while they're there

  630. to the opportunity

  631. to commit

  632. so they can see

  633. the ministry grow

  634. so that more

  635. can come to know

  636. Jesus Christ.

  637. During our brief time

  638. you might not have time

  639. to pray for all of these

  640. and I won't guide

  641. or direct

  642. once I finish

  643. but it will give you

  644. an opportunity

  645. to specifically lift up

  646. at least one

  647. of these families

  648. or ministries

  649. in prayer.

  650. Would you join me?

  651. God your word says

  652. in Philippians 1

  653. 3-5

  654. I thank my God

  655. in all my remembrance

  656. of you

  657. always

  658. in every prayer

  659. of mine

  660. for you

  661. all making my prayer

  662. with joy

  663. because of your

  664. partnership

  665. in the gospel

  666. from the first day

  667. until now.

  668. God I thank you

  669. for these men

  670. and women

  671. I thank you

  672. for the friendship

  673. that we have

  674. I thank you

  675. for the partnership

  676. that we have

  677. that it's not

  678. in a business model

  679. it's in a gospel plan

  680. to see men

  681. and women

  682. and children

  683. come to faith

  684. in Jesus Christ

  685. whether it's

  686. at White Knoll

  687. Elementary School

  688. or Fellowship Mission

  689. Bible School

  690. whether it's

  691. in a park

  692. in downtown Columbia

  693. or whether it's

  694. in a village

  695. in the Philippines

  696. whether it's

  697. in the busyness

  698. of New York City

  699. in Toronto Canada

  700. or in the quiet

  701. hills of Black Mountain

  702. North Carolina

  703. God we thank you

  704. for the opportunity

  705. God may we

  706. as a church

  707. lift up

  708. these brothers

  709. and sisters in Christ

  710. may we faithfully

  711. come to you

  712. praying for them

  713. would you take

  714. this time

  715. to come before him

  716. and lift up

  717. these missionaries

  718. you're welcome to the next one.

  719. to come before him.

  720. God what a joy

  721. and a privilege it is

  722. to partner

  723. with these saints

  724. God as

  725. Apostle Paul

  726. writes to the church

  727. at Philippi

  728. a church that

  729. partnered with him

  730. a church that

  731. funded

  732. much of his work

  733. of the gospel

  734. God may we

  735. continue

  736. continuing to remember

  737. to remember

  738. our partners

  739. continuing to pray

  740. for them

  741. continuing to

  742. celebrate you

  743. for them

  744. God I thank you

  745. none of these

  746. individuals are in

  747. places where it's easy

  748. none of these

  749. ministries are done

  750. in comfort

  751. but they're all done

  752. with purpose

  753. for the gospel

  754. so God we pray

  755. for blessing

  756. pray for blessing

  757. for Scott

  758. Shull

  759. and for his

  760. ministry

  761. with Project

  762. 153

  763. God we pray for

  764. blessing for

  765. Patrick and

  766. Jennifer

  767. Tatushinsky

  768. as they lead

  769. the ministry

  770. at White Noel

  771. Elementary School

  772. God we pray

  773. for Sam

  774. and Susan

  775. and their

  776. ministry in

  777. India

  778. we pray for

  779. Rodney and

  780. Jesse

  781. and their

  782. ministry in

  783. Black Mountain

  784. pray for Hans

  785. and Brandy

  786. and their

  787. ministry in

  788. Toronto

  789. we pray for

  790. Daryl and

  791. Christina

  792. their ministry

  793. in the Philippines

  794. we pray for

  795. Walter and

  796. Veronica

  797. and their

  798. ministry in

  799. New York City

  800. and Lord may

  801. you bless

  802. them

  803. work in

  804. them

  805. work through

  806. them

  807. and God

  808. may we be a

  809. source of

  810. encouragement

  811. and support

  812. for them

  813. God we

  814. thank you

  815. for

  816. them

  817. God I

  818. thank you for

  819. this time that

  820. we could have

  821. together

  822. Lord as we

  823. close out

  824. this year

  825. and look

  826. forward to

  827. the new year

  828. that you have

  829. for us

  830. God may

  831. this not be

  832. an isolated

  833. moment that we

  834. had today

  835. but Lord in

  836. the power of

  837. your spirit

  838. may it spark

  839. within us

  840. the desire

  841. for what you

  842. have for us

  843. to be a people

  844. of prayer

  845. God I

  846. thank you for

  847. these families

  848. and these

  849. kids

  850. these adults

  851. may we be

  852. united

  853. in mission

  854. and vision

  855. and desire

  856. of the gospel

  857. God again

  858. Lord I

  859. thank you

  860. thank you for

  861. the baptisms

  862. that we

  863. celebrate

  864. I thank you

  865. for the growth

  866. that we've

  867. seen

  868. I thank you

  869. for the

  870. faithfulness

  871. of your

  872. people

  873. God

  874. in the

  875. privilege

  876. of what

  877. it means

  878. for me

  879. to have

  880. the title

  881. of senior

  882. pastor

  883. of this

  884. church

  885. God I

  886. thank you

  887. for every

  888. man

  889. woman

  890. and child

  891. God I

  892. thank you

  893. for their

  894. encouragement

  895. in my

  896. life

  897. God I

  898. thank you

  899. for the

  900. partnership

  901. that they've

  902. extended

  903. of the

  904. gospel

  905. God I

  906. thank you

  907. for their

  908. grace

  909. that they

  910. show me

  911. when they

  912. see things

  913. in me

  914. that are

  915. not of

  916. you

  917. I

  918. thank you

  919. for the

  920. love

  921. that they

  922. have for

  923. me

  924. and for

  925. my

  926. family

  927. I

  928. thank you

  929. for the

  930. sacrifice

  931. that they

  932. make

  933. in their

  934. giving

  935. in their

  936. time

  937. in their

  938. serving

  939. in their

  940. worship

  941. God I

  942. thank you

  943. that we're

  944. not

  945. an

  946. organization

  947. but I

  948. thank you

  949. that we're

  950. a family

  951. God thank you

  952. for this

  953. place

  954. thank you

  955. for these

  956. people

  957. thank you

  958. for Jesus

  959. because that's

  960. why we're

  961. here

  962. and may we

  963. go from

  964. here

  965. in the

  966. power of

  967. your spirit

  968. under the

  969. gospel of

  970. Christ
