-
Yes, we're going to use it for the kingdom of God Without any further delay.
-
We're going straight into this Bible study because we're closing out the series tonight.
-
This series has been so awesome and this series, this segment, is going to be all about the creation of man.
-
So we're going to dive right in at Genesis, chapter one, verse 27, and we're going into it.
-
All right, let's go into Genesis.
-
Amen, get your Bibles and let's start at Genesis one and 27.
-
So God created man in his own image and the image of God created he him.
-
Male and female created he them.
-
Let me read that again, just make sure we're all on the same page.
-
So God created man in his own image.
-
In the image of God created he him.
-
Male and female created he them.
-
So we find out right here in the scripture in Genesis one and 27, male and female was created in his own image.
-
Okay, in his own image, all right.
-
Now some of us have heard how many have heard where, okay, man was created and then got to go on through.
-
He was in the garden and wandering and lonely and then, all of a sudden, now female.
-
So then male and female was created all at one time.
-
But we're going to manifest and show you how this was developed.
-
Okay, yes, All right.
-
So this is what God is doing, amen.
-
He's showing us how we are.
-
We have the image of God, amen, amen.
-
So it's 27 and, yes, we go to 27.
-
I want to grab this scripture because when you just broke that down I thought of one I have to read that accompanies that, and that's Genesis, chapter five, verse two.
-
They reached this male and female, created he them and bless them and called their name Adam in the day which they were created.
-
Wow, you might let me read that again in case you didn't catch that, this is a reference to Genesis one and 27.
-
It breaks it down even more.
-
It says male and female created he them and blessed them and called their name Adam in the day when they were created.
-
So I'm gonna let that roll around in your head a little bit.
-
So what did you get out of that?
-
What did you get out of that scripture?
-
Put it on your screen.
-
What did you get out of the?
-
scripture.
-
What did you get?
-
What did you?
-
get.
-
Think about it, think about it.
-
So I now want to go over to Genesis, chapter two, and read Genesis chapter two, seven and verse eight.
-
And it reads this and the Lord God formed man out of the dust of the ground and he breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.
-
And man became a living soul.
-
And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden and there he put the man whom he had formed.
-
I want to jump over to 15 and read something very important.
-
And the Lord God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
-
Amen, you hear that.
-
So not only did he create man, but he created man for a purpose and an assignment.
-
What was that?
-
What was that?
-
Put it on the screen.
-
He just read it.
-
Put it on the screen, amen.
-
What did he create them for?
-
Or him for?
-
I should say.
-
What did he create him for?
-
That means the moment he created him.
-
It was a purpose.
-
Yeah, he already had an assignment.
-
And I want to let you know and I'm going to pause it because I'm going to bring it to 2024.
-
God has a purpose, because once you're born again, the moment you're born again, you have a purpose.
-
That's true.
-
You're talking God, don't come on now.
-
When you're born, you have a purpose.
-
So it already said.
-
When he was born, when he was created, he had a purpose.
-
So when we are born again, we're not just aimless, we're not just walking around trying to figure out what to do.
-
We have a purpose.
-
Right, that's so true.
-
He give us a purpose Boy, I know the plans I have for you to come.
-
Come on now.
-
That's it.
-
Yes, he has a purpose.
-
So when the enemy comes in and says, I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing, I don't know we have a purpose.
-
That's true, amen.
-
What was man's purpose?
-
I'm going to let you finish that, pastor.
-
What was man's purpose?
-
So?
-
I'm a paraphrase is just a little bit to talk about.
-
So the scripture declares that because there was no man to work the ground, the Bible says it had not rained and the Bible says that a mist would come up.
-
We know that's like dew in the morning, like fog.
-
It would come up and water the earth, the whole face of the earth.
-
But then it talks about how God went eastward and planted a garden and he said he planted all of this is beautiful and all these fruit trees that have the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and he placed the man in the garden to tend to the garden, to dress it and keep it.
-
So this was important to understand because you're painting the picture the whole earth is growing vegetation, but the most of the world is unattended, is growing wildly.
-
It's nobody there to manage it, to maintain it, to keep it, to beautify it.
-
But God specifically created a garden and placed man there to take care of it and tend it.
-
And this is important because the earth brought forth the, he seeded the earth and the earth brought forth the vegetation.
-
But he planted in the garden and he and when God and Adam was created, the garden already had the tree of life, the tree of knowledge.
-
There's all of those herbs and things that God specifically planted and beautified so that man could come in and manage it and maintain it.
-
Amen.
-
Amen.
-
This is very important because we got to understand that God has given all of us.
-
We come in born with purpose and responsibility and over our life assignment.
-
We're not just being deployed but employed.
-
You know, we say deployed because he told his disciples go into all the work, all the earth and preach the gospel.
-
But we're also employed.
-
That means we come with a job and assignment from God to take care of something, to manage something to work for the kingdom, amen.
-
So we see Adam taking care of what God gave Adam.
-
The garden.
-
Eating is what God gave him to be a manager over.
-
Amen, amen.
-
It's important to know.
-
So, if you put it on your name, to dress it and keep it.
-
You was absolutely right, amen, he had a job, he had responsibility.
-
Yes, he did.
-
I'm not going to go there because that might get old.
-
This is good, amen it's important to know you have purpose.
-
You have purpose, I want to harp on one thing, pastor David, you just messed me up I'm going to be real when you went back and you said after Bishop had read that God had created man and women.
-
And then you went to chapter five and you said when you read actually verse two, and it says male and female, created he them and blessed them and called their name Adam.
-
We have to know.
-
And the first thing that came to my mind was what does Adam mean?
-
Okay, if you really act yourself, if he created male and female, gave them the same name, what does Adam mean?
-
And if you researched that and we can go straight to a Wikipedia and we can see that Adam, the name Adam, means Adam, which means earth.
-
Wow, and then we study more about God and the Bible says that he reached down and formed man out of the what.
-
The dust which is the earth and breathe life the breath of life in them.
-
So man and women are made in his own image.
-
That's why women right now can't say that.
-
You know, only man are made in his image.
-
Right.
-
See that we all are made in his own image and we all were named Adam Right.
-
I had the harp on that because that blew my mind.
-
That's what we're going in the scripture.
-
That's what we're going.
-
That's what.
-
I'm gonna have you go into it and break down a little bit about this male and female, because I think the Bible is trying to clearly let us know that originally male, male and female is one flesh.
-
Yes.
-
And we kind of consider that one flesh.
-
We keep trying to separate, even though he separated the two even in their beginning.
-
He created them as one flesh.
-
But the separation of the two was for reason, right For a reason yes, go ahead.
-
Go ahead and read that you dig in it.
-
So I'm going to read on the creation of woman, how, in chapter two, god gives us detailed description of how he made woman.
-
And it says in Genesis, chapter two, verse 21, and I'm going to be reading through 24, it says and the Lord God calls a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept and he took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh instead thereof.
-
And the reup which the Lord God had taken from man made he woman and brought her unto the man.
-
And Adam said this is now bone of my bone and flesh and flesh of my flesh.
-
She shall be called one man because she was taken out of man.
-
Therefore, shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh, amen.
-
Amen, that's good, that's a good thing because at the end of the day, amen, you know that it was taken out of, taken out of man and became one flesh.
-
You know, and that's so important because sometimes we feel like, well, we separated too.
-
You know we got all kinds of movements that we didn't go through.
-
You know we didn't go through all kinds of man domination, women live.
-
We go through all kinds of things and not knowing that we are each other.
-
We are each other with one flesh that God created us for a purpose.
-
Each one of us have a purpose.
-
I don't have to be you and you don't have to be me.
-
We still have the same purpose, amen.
-
We don't have to dominate each other, we don't have to go over each other.
-
We are one flesh.
-
It just shows you what happened that God was the first one to do a surgery.
-
He used anesthesia and put him to sleep.
-
Amen, it took a rib out of him, amen.
-
And if you do any medical studies, a woman has more ribs than a man.
-
That's so true.
-
I'll tell you because you know God did it.
-
So scientists I think we have said that in the creation.
-
Science supports it, but they never say God Right.
-
They never say God, oh yeah, we got medical research that just shows us different things.
-
But they still won't say God did it Right, right, right.
-
Creation was built by God Right, a mastermind.
-
We won't always go back there because we're on the end of the session and of the series, but it all goes back to God Right, right Created.
-
He was architect.
-
Yes.
-
Of everything that happened, won by chance.
-
You know he did it and I think we even go to.
-
I think that's woman.
-
But second chapter in the seven verse deals with man and the Lord.
-
God four man from the dust of the ground and breathe into his nostril the breath of life, and man became a living soul.
-
Well, when you look at the scripture and you know one thing I really love about it is that God was very hands-owned with the creation of man.
-
Yes.
-
Everything else.
-
When we went through it y'all remember it said that he spoke and the earth brought forth.
-
And he spoke and the seas brought forth, but with man it won't know speaking, it was hands-owned.
-
Yeah, he got his hands dirty.
-
He got his hands dirty right.
-
Yeah he did.
-
That says a lot.
-
But I like this because, even though it says and the Lord God formed man of the dust and the grain, we know that includes woman, because woman at this point was a part of man Come on.
-
And we realized that the word woman didn't come from God.
-
The Bible said he just read, and Adam called her woman, mm-hmm.
-
So in God's eyes the two are one.
-
Because we just read it?
-
Because when God created it, he called them Adam.
-
Yes, they were one.
-
They were one, but so you brought some good.
-
You said so why did he separate it?
-
Why did he make two out of the one?
-
I can ask you I bring it to the floor why do you think he made two out of the one?
-
Why do you think it was important to make two out of the one, pop, quiz, pop quiz, pop quiz.
-
There's a whole lot of ways you can look at that Uh-huh, because it says in one scripture okay, we're going to go back and read that.
-
You know, it says in the scripture how I ain't going to get the answer.
-
But it says a whole lot of reasons why.
-
Why did it?
-
Was man and one man, mm-hmm, man and one man, you know.
-
So we're going to give you a chance to answer that I'm not going to go there.
-
Why do you think he?
-
created both.
-
We'll come back to it because we want to give you a.
-
We'll go back around.
-
So we'll go on.
-
It's going to reveal itself.
-
You can go to 28.
-
28 28.
-
And God blessed them, and God said unto them oh, yes them, yes them, be fruitful and multiply.
-
Uh-huh.
-
We almost gave you the answer.
-
You see and replenish the earth and sedue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air and over everything that move it upon the earth.
-
Yes, I got a question.
-
I'm sorry.
-
Go ahead, Bishop that.
-
That leans to the scripture, leans to something, and I'm just trying to Y'all help me out.
-
Go ahead, bishop.
-
He said God blessed them, and God said unto them Be fruitful and multiply.
-
That's what they did, and it's almost like he's given both of them dominion.
-
Oh yeah, oh yeah, no, no, no.
-
Man is half dominion.
-
Oh, no, no, no, it ain't just man.
-
Well, look, look, Bishop.
-
But see, bishop, there you touching the thing.
-
The woman is a help mate to the man.
-
If the mission and the thought, the mission and assignment is the same, they, working together, accomplish one goal.
-
We just letting y'all know.
-
This is because sometimes people said certain things.
-
I'm just asking the question because some people are like oh, no it ain't man dominion?
-
Oh no, but then they both was named.
-
Adam.
-
Well, we got to understand God.
-
Don't see the separation.
-
We created that we created the separation.
-
God don't see it?
-
Uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh.
-
Ok, I just had to ask.
-
We just and let me tell y'all, beloved amen, we're having discussion, this is Bible study, this is open up reasoning and say, hey, what about a question?
-
So we challenge you.
-
If there's a question, put it on the screen, let us know what you're thinking.
-
If you got all like I'm just reading and that was the question, do just that.
-
That's how you learn, that's how you grow when you ask questions.
-
Yes, true, and you challenge it and it's no harm, we're not debating, we want to debate you.
-
We're not here to debate?
-
Oh no, we're not here to debate, we're here to break down word and we study together and guess what.
-
And learn you know, it's good.
-
And I want to know, just like you know.
-
Somebody said well, you're a pastor, you're a bishop, you're an elder, you're Guess what?
-
We all have room to learn, to learn, yes, and grow.
-
Amen.
-
Nobody knows everything, but we can study the word together.
-
Oh, yes, and we can grow, yes.
-
So he said.
-
He gave him over the all moving thing upon Earth.
-
Right, yes, which one?
-
29?
-
Uh-huh, and God said behold, I have given you every herb, barren seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which the fruit of the tree yielded seed and ye and you, it shall be for meat.
-
Right, right, all right.
-
30.
-
And to every beast of the earth and to every file of the air and to every thing that creep is upon the earth wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat.
-
And it was so.
-
Yes 31, and God saw everything that he had made and, behold, it was very good, very good.
-
And the evening, in the morning were the sixth day.
-
Yes, you know what I like too.
-
That's a distinction there.
-
Yeah, very good, very good.
-
He didn't say very good until he made man.
-
That's the distinction there.
-
You know what I like.
-
I like that God made it very clear that he had given us the herbs and the trees and the fruit and all of these things.
-
He had given it to us and then we had just read over in chapter 2, verse 15, he gave it to us, but he charged us to take care of it, to dress it.
-
Yeah, take care of it.
-
Yeah, yeah.
-
That's important because there's a lot of blessings of God Now.
-
Bible talks about the harvest is plenty, but the laborers are few.
-
God has so much to give us, but the problem is can we handle it, can we take care of it, can we dress it, can we tend to it?
-
Because he won't release it unless we can take care of it.
-
It's good.
-
It's good boy, and I think that's the problem we're asking God for stuff we can't take care of.
-
Come on, man, that's good.
-
We're asking and praying for God to give us stuff that we're not ready to take care of.
-
We're not.
-
It's like Pastor Terrence got a son, how old?
-
is Josh.
-
J-rock is five.
-
Five.
-
It's like giving him a house.
-
He ain't ready for that.
-
He can't take care of it, uh-oh, he's not there, right.
-
He's not able to maintain it, right?
-
That don't mean it's not there for him, right, right, but he's not mature, he's not there enough to take care of it.
-
So I'll pression be, god, give me, give me, give me, but God, grow me so I'm able to mature me, so I'm able to take care of what you give me.
-
Yes, yes, come on now.
-
I think that's why God was so pleased with Solomon's request.
-
Oh wow, I think when Solomon took reign, he didn't ask for the death of his enemies or riches above measure.
-
He asked for wisdom to take care of what God gave him control over.
-
That's true.
-
The people of Israel.
-
He's given it to us, but we have to have the wisdom to take care of it.
-
That's true.
-
True.
-
If I gave you a gardener, you have no idea how to handle that garden.
-
Uh-huh, Guess what the gardener would dry up die wither be destroyed?
-
Yes, right, but God has given us the wisdom to take care of the things he's put in our hand.
-
Man, that's so good.
-
I think sometimes we're so busy seeking after other people, what they got and what they're taking care of.
-
God wants us to take care of our vineyard.
-
Right, leaders of God, listen, don't look at somebody else's vineyard, look at your own vineyard.
-
Right, yeah, it's.
-
The Bible says despise, not that they are small, but getting right, because somebody got a mega ministry, somebody got thousands of members and you feel them bad or you're feeling like well, god is not fair.
-
It's not measure on how many, but are you able to take care of it?
-
Right, somebody?
-
If you go back to Jesus time, he goes back to the talents Some he gave, what Five, some he gave, but it was.
-
Are you able to take care of it?
-
So we find ourselves right in the garden.
-
It's through a church, what God has given us, everything we need, but we got to make sure we maintain it.
-
That's so good.
-
Wow, and I'm glad you said that, Bishop, because you said you said something powerful.
-
You talked about small beginnings, taking care of what God gave, and it brought me all the way back to the 28 and God blessed him.
-
And God said and to them be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it.
-
In other words, the whole earth was for man.
-
But he started them off with a little garden eastward that he planted.
-
Then he said now you can handle this little garden.
-
I'll give you some help with E.
-
Together Y'all can handle this, God, but my ultimate goal is that y'all be fruitful, multiply and subdue the earth and subdue everything.
-
You didn't look just like the garden.
-
That job was to create that garden all over the whole earth, everywhere.
-
What does the Bible tell us?
-
He who has faithful over love, faithful over what?
-
Yeah, that's all, that's the same thing, that's it.
-
If we can handle this, god, I can say I can trust you with more.
-
The principles of God.
-
Come on, that's it.
-
One of them.
-
So it goes all the way back to the beginning, creation.
-
God was trying to teach us a lesson by showing us what he did for Adam Right, Right that we have, and the only part, if you go back and we don't have time to go into it, he said don't do this, don't do that.
-
Yeah, rules it's rules, oh my God, it's rules everywhere.
-
It's rules everywhere you got that.
-
Abide by the rules.
-
Yes.
-
Lord as soon as you break them, it's consequences.
-
It's consequences.
-
Consequences.
-
It's consequences Beloved you blame it everybody, but you broke the rules.
-
You broke the rules and then there's consequences.
-
But we want to line up with God this year, yes, and 2024, we don't want to be all over the place, right, we want to be able to be able to place our hand, to do something.
-
Yes, because stewards over.
-
Yes, working with all our heart, soul and mind.
-
Be trustworthy with it.
-
So he can give us more.
-
Yes, why would he give us more if we can't handle that?
-
That's right.
-
That's right.
-
That's nonsense and a little trap, that's crazy.
-
It would be to our demise.
-
Yes, if I give you two more, much more, and you and I are able to handle it, people say I want to do this, I want to do this.
-
Oh, I feel like I'm ready to do that.
-
Beloved, be faithful for where you are and let God grow you.
-
God, give you that responsibility for the next level in your life.
-
And you know what I like?
-
I like that God gave Adam some help.
-
Lord no man.
-
God gave him help.
-
He saw him doing it, he said it ain't good that he didn't have to tackle this by himself.
-
I'm going to give you some help.
-
All the fellas need to pay on.
-
I love my help out there.
-
Yeah, I need to put that in the comment section.
-
Yeah, Come on, couple of y'all and Lord help me get it If you single out there, lord help me to keep a band for my help to come.
-
I need some help yeah.
-
Oh Lord, I need some help.
-
Send some help Lord.
-
Yeah help me.
-
It's important that we follow the scriptures of God and the rules of regulation so we can't be blessed.
-
Yes, yes.
-
I don't you know what, and I must confess I'll say this Sometime God give you something and you feel like it's not important, it's mediocre.
-
I want to do that Right, but God gave you this.
-
Yes.
-
He's not gonna, he's.
-
He's not concerned about you doing over this and doing that and doing that.
-
He's concerned about what he told you to do.
-
Oh man.
-
That's good.
-
Yeah, that's it.
-
Oh, you trying to make a name over there, name over there, name over there.
-
But God said but I told you to go to the garden, right?
-
I told you to work and dress it and keep it.
-
Yes, so I did.
-
That's mediocre.
-
I don't want to do that, that's uh.
-
But God said this is where I'm gonna bless you at Right, this is where I'm gonna grow you at.
-
