Let's jump into this.

Father's Day, we're going to be talking about strange fire.

Isn't that something?

We're going to stay in our all-in, all flame series for these next few moments.

And I and my wife have asked the Holy Spirit to help me stay on point today and not chase the proverbial rabbit that I love to chase.

Because if he pokes up his little head, I'm going after him.

So I've got good notes.

I've spent a lot of time on this word to give to you today.

And I pray that it is actually, please hear what I'm about to say.

This is not a Father's Day message.

This is actually a message for the family.

This is a message to the mamas.

This is a message to the single moms, the single dads, the grandparents and the dads.

And if the Holy Spirit so leads at the end, we've got something very special that I'd like to do, but I'm going to hold that for then.

I do want to do this.

There's always a couple of things that I feel like the Holy Spirit wants me to be obedient about.

And sometimes I think about them and then I forget about them and then I beat myself up when I walk away.

So if you are, if you have, if if you are a CFO, C O O CEO, if you have C in your title where you work, if you are a business owner, if you are a real estate agent, if I I want you to stand to your feet right quick, right quick.

Just stand up all over the room.

This is this is not for any other reason that I want to pray over you.

All right.

I just felt the Lord say that he wanted to do this today before we go any further.

All right.

You have influence, you have authority, you have grace, you have an anointing.

All right.

There's a mantle.

I'm going to go that far to say there's a mantle on you for what you do, and it's needed.

And I hear the Lord saying, get ready for some increase.

Get ready for some expansion.

Get ready to go ahead and make some decisions that you have been holding off on.

It's time probably to go ahead and make those decisions.

You take that to the Lord, okay?

But if you got somebody standing around you right now, would you just kind of reach over?

Maybe a few of you stand up, maybe put your hand on them.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray over these men and women today.

That we believe that you have in strategic positions all over our city, all over this region.

We ask today that you will give them wisdom, that you will give them peace, that you will give them resources, that you will give them everything that they need, God, to be able to do what you've assigned and called them to do.

We ask now, Lord Jesus, as we place their company or their business, Lord, or their assignment, as we place it at your feet, that today, Lord, you would just give them a freshness, give them insight, give them wisdom, give them boldness, give them courage, God, to make some decisions that might be tough.

And Lord, we thank you that even through this prayer today, it would be a confirmation to them to go ahead and move forward in Jesus' name.

Everyone said, Amen, amen.

All right.

Go ahead and be seated.

Thank you guys for letting me do that.

Let's go to Leviticus chapter 10.

Leviticus 10 · chapter mention

I'm gonna tell you what's been cool about this series that we've been in for me is I've never spent this much time in Leviticus, and it has been awesome.

Everybody say Leviticus.

I keep waiting for one of y'all to name your kid Leviticus.

Of course, we'd call him Levi, right?

But I don't know, man.

Leviticus.

Especially if he's got a he could be like a professional quarterback or something, you know.

Leviticus Mitchell now coming onto the field.

All right.

All right.

What'd I say?

Chapter 10.

We have slides.

Are the scriptures back there?

Yeah, let's do this.

Then Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censor, put fire in it, put incense on it, offered profane fire before the Lord, which he had not commanded them.

Fire went out from the Lord and devoured them, and they died before the Lord.

And Moses said to Aaron, This is what the Lord spoke, saying, By those who come near me, I must be regarded as holy, and before all the people I must be glorified.

So Aaron held his peace.

Let's pray one more time.

Father, thank you.

Filling our hearts today with good soil so that we can receive your word.

It can take root and bear fruit that remains, and you can get the glory for it in Jesus' name.

Everyone said amen.

Amen.

All right.

That's that's a couple of other names that you probably don't want to name your kids.

Might want to take Nadab and Abayhu off of the list.

It's really, don't try to redeem that name.

It's just not gonna, it's not gonna happen.

It's not gonna work.

But if your name is Nadav or Abahu and you're in you're in the room this morning or you're listening, I would really just go to the courthouse this week and get it, get it legally changed.

It's just not not something you want to wear around the rest the rest of your life.

There was a problem, folks.

There was a problem because for whatever reason, and I'm gonna give you some background in just a moment, but at this moment, Nadab and Abaihu thought that any coals from any fire would work.

And they knew, guys, they knew that that it was not acceptable.

Um it was it was not just a major mistake or a slip of their mind.

They they actually it seems that they knew uh what what they were doing.

And we have to see, you can see there that God answered profane fire with pure fire.

All right.

So when when we do get it wrong out of his love and out of his corrective judgment, he he can still make it right, amen.

He still has has that right to bring the pure fire.

And you see in the scripture say, why did God do that?

He's he told them, he said, I have to be regarded as holy before all the people, and I must be glorified.

So if you look back into chapters eight and nine of Leviticus, which I hope that you will if you haven't already, and just through this series and study, that would be my encouragement to all of us during this week, is look back at Leviticus 8 and 9, and even we're gonna go even further back into Exodus here in just a moment.

But you have to ask yourself, what happened?

What happened with these two sons of Aaron?

Uh because in chapter 8 and 9, every one and everything was in place.

The tabernacle had been built, everything had been cleansed, the the priestly uh outfit, the garment, the sash, the the hat, their trousers, everything that God had ordered very meticulously, had been very meticulously with great detail made, and it had been cleansed, and it it now was holy.

Even the clothes, the utensils, the altar, everything had gone through the ceremonial cleansing and washing, and everything that God had said needs to happen, had happened.

And guess what?

At the end of chapter 9, he had answered by coming with his glory.

He had actually come with consuming fire there in uh chapter 9 and had licked up the sacrifice because he was pleased with it.

That's what you want.

That's what we want.

We want God to be pleased with what we are offering him.

And then right after that, you come into chapter 10 and you pick up with what we just read.

Uh with so it goes from all this joy, all this rejoicing, all of this, oh, this obedience, this follow-through, this uh protocol, this order.

Everything has been done so well and rightly that God has been able to say, I'm pleased, I'm pleased with this.

And then for him to have to come with judgment, just in the in the first few verses of chapter 10.

I'll give you a little bit of background so we go all the way back to Exodus chapter 28 and verse 1.

Exodus 28 · chapter mention

And yeah, is it on the screen?

Yeah.

So Exodus 28 and verse 1 says, now take Aaron your brother, he was talking to Moses, and his sons with him from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to me as priest, Aaron and Aaron's sons, Nadab, Abihu, Eliezer, you can use that name.

All right.

And Ithamar, if you fill in that, you could, you know, it goes both ways.

You could have a little girl named Ithamar.

All right.

And then you jump over to Leviticus 8:30, which I was just mentioning.

Leviticus 8:30

Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood which was on the altar and sprinkled it on Aaron, on his garments, on his sons, on the garments of his sons with him, and he consecrated Aaron, his garments, his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.

Are y'all getting the picture?

That Nadab and Abihu were there.

They had been through the process.

As much as they could, they they hopefully understood, right?

What they were being consecrated, what they were being cleansed, what they were being set apart to do.

I think it's important for us to see that.

I think it's important for you to see that two of the four of Aaron's sons in Eliezer and Ithamar, we can talk about them because well, how many of you know if your two if your two brothers are consumed by the fire of God in judgment?

How many of you know that might make that might straighten you up for the rest of your life?

Anybody?

Anybody got brothers?

I got two brothers and a sister, right?

And if I saw God take any of them out, I'd be like, oh yeah.

Yes, sir.

But they were there.

That's what I'm trying to get you to understand.

That's what I want us to all see is that they were there.

They had the anointing, they had been consecrated, they have been set apart.

Um, and it it just looked like everything was wonderful.

It looked like everything uh was great, uh, but obviously it wasn't.

I want to pause there, and I want to I want to give you another picture, and then we're gonna come back to the strange fire, and that's what we'll end with today.

But but I want to go to this, and I want to show you the difference in scripture between the Old Testament priesthood and the New Testament priesthood.

Is that okay?

I think it'll be valuable, I think, I think it'll be beneficial for us.

Um, and that's on the screen too.

You can see that in a side-by-side, and I didn't give you a lot of scriptures on it, other than you can pick up on it even in just what we've already read in the Old Testament, but I'll I'll give you a couple of scriptures here on the New Testament side of it.

But the Old Testament priesthood were descendants of Aaron.

And by the way, I don't know if you if you saw how God operates there in the Old Testament, but he kind of voluntoled Aaron.

Right?

It wasn't like Aaron had a choice, kind of like he did Moses, kind of like he did Abraham, kind of like he did Noah.

Come on.

So when God tells you that you're going to do something, you know what?

Mine and your answer is absolutely, sir.

I've heard people, my mother-in-law was one, God bless her, she's in heaven now.

But she would she would say, The Lord told me to do this, and I argued with him and I questioned him and blah, blah, blah.

And I went, Why would you do that?

There's you're wasting energy and words.

Come on.

Amen.

And when he when he asks you to do something, when he's saying, Hey, I need you to do this for me, when he leads you, God, guess what?

He's empowering you, he's anointing you, he's giving you the grace, he's giving you the ability, he's giving you everything that you're going to need to accomplish what he's asking of you.

Are there any witnesses to that?

Any?

That's it's it's just a it's a true, it's it's the way he operates.

He's not going to just say, here, do this for me, and then not give you the power and the ability and the resources to be able to be able to do it.

In the Old Testament, the priests were mediators between God and people.

They they actually, you know, would take your confession.

I know there's some traditions, churches that still still do that.

Uh, I've always pastored, you know, in Pentecostal, spirit-filled, charismatic, whatever you would call it, church, full gospel church.

And from time to time, I would have someone from that tradition that would become a part of our church, and they would want to come and tell me their sins.

And I'm like, whoa, hey, like, yeah, I don't need to know.

Right?

You don't have to tell, you don't have to tell me.

You need to tell him.

He's he's the one that forgives, he's the one that cleanses, he's the one that washes.

He'd say, well, what about that verse that says, confess your sins one to another, right?

Confess your faults.

Okay, I get it.

There's some accountability that you have, but I'm trying to get you to understand that you and I don't have to, you don't have to come to the priest, you don't have to come to the pastor.

Unless that's what's going to set you free.

I've seen a lot of folks going and confessing.

Anyway, all right.

The Old Testament priesthood was responsible for offering the sacrifices.

You should jump up and down this morning that you didn't have to come with a ram or a lamb or a turtle dove or a bull.

Right?

And bring that thing.

In church then, y'all, church then was a, whoo, it was gory, it was bloody.

Come on.

We sitting in here like, yeah, I don't want to see no blood.

All right.

Old Testament priesthood ministers, obviously in the tabernacle in the temple.

It was very serious.

It was lined out for them.

They were told exactly what they needed to do.

In the New Testament, all of us, everybody say all of us.

All of us have been welcomed into this priesthood with Jesus.

Jesus being the eternal high priest, and I want to I want to read this scripture to you over in Hebrews because I think it's important.

In Hebrews chapter 9, verse 11, Christ came as high priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands that is not of this creation.

Hebrews 9:11

Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with his own blood.

He entered the most holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

You can say, Amen.

And for this reason, he is the mediator of the new covenant by means of death for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant that those who are called may receive the promise of the internal, the eternal uh inheritance.

All right, I think I'm done with that.

Okay, here we go.

So Jesus is our eternal high priest.

He now has become the one single sacrifice.

Y'all, thank God he doesn't have to get back on the cross every Easter so that he can be resurrected again.

Matter of fact, every day that you and I get up, he is our resurrected, ascended, seated by the right hand of the Father, Son of the living God, that continues to intercede and pray for every single one of us.

It's it's our Jesus is amazing.

He's holy, he's powerful, he's alive.

That's what separates us from the rest of anyone who says that they have a different faith or a different way to get to heaven.

There's one way.

His name is Jesus.

He's the way, he's the truth, he's the life.

No one, no one can come to the Father except through him.

And boy, when you come to him, he welcomes you.

He's got love and he's got grace, he's got peace, and he's got joy, and he's got power, he's got a plan.

And you know what I learned?

If you mess up that plan, he's got another plan.

If you mess up that one, he's got another one.

Come on, somebody.

I know the plans I have for you.

Right?

Because he knows what a rascal some of you are gonna be and how long it's gonna take, some of you.

And he already knows you're gonna be on like Z before you get it.

But he's got that many plans for you, he's got purpose, he's got assignment, he's got design for every single person in the room.

No one gets left out, and no one gets left out of this priesthood.

Ladies, you're in the priesthood too.

Come on.

Oh, the ladies got excited because y'all get to wear that sash and the hat and all them, all them priestly garments.

Every believer is now a part of a royal priesthood.

1 Peter 2, 5 through 9.

You're a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people.

That you can show forth the praises of Him who's called you out of darkness into his marvelous light, which in times past were not a people, but are now the people of God.

Who had not obtained mercy, but now have.

Brother Curtis, we've now we've obtained mercy, sir.

Come on, somebody.

Peculiar.

Turn to your neighbor and say, Yeah, he's talking about you.

Yeah.

And peculiar doesn't mean odd and weird and goofy.

Peculiar means set apart and consecrated, holy to the Lord.

That's us.

That's that's who we are now on in the New Testament.

Where we don't have to bring, you know that.

We don't have to bring the animal sacrifices.

Jesus, once and for all, became the sacrifice.

However, there are sacrifices in being a part of this new priesthood.

And this is not exhaustive, but just a couple of two or three scriptures.

Romans 12, 1.

It's not gonna be on the screen, but Paul said, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies, what?

A living sacrifice unto the Lord, right?

What is it?

Holy and acceptable, right?

It's our reasonable service in worship.

It's a to present our physical bodies to the Lord.

All right?

Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Come on, amen.

You gotta have it.

So I'm gonna get a new hip tomorrow.

Glory to God.

Somebody said, don't trust a preacher that doesn't have a limp.

Trust me, for these past nine months going forward, I don't know what to tell you.

But anyway.

Eight months.

Correct myself.

So present our bodies as a sacrifice.

Hebrews 13.

I'm I'm right there.

Hebrews 13 and verse 15.

Uh verse 30.

Yes, verse 15.

Therefore, by him, by Jesus, let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God.

That is the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name.

I don't know what a sacrifice of praise looks like for you.

I only know what it looks like for me.

But there's going to be times when you and I don't feel like praising, don't want to praise.

For whatever reason, we've gotten our our um uh view, our point of view has gotten clouded, and we've decided that I just I can't.

I can't find any reason to praise to praise you today.

I started weeping during worship this morning because the presence of the Lord is so near, so real, so manifest.

And I began to realize that the longer that you and I are in his presence, the less we think of ourselves.

The less we think of our problems and our issues.

They really do grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace when we turn our eyes upon Jesus.

When we proclaim and realize and step into the power of the blood of Jesus and let it continue to cleanse us and wash us and consecrate us and set us apart so that we can be a part of this priesthood.

God hasn't backed off of his holiness, friends.

He hasn't backed off.

Him become a kinder God.

Does that make sense?

Yes, there's grace.

Yes, he's full of love, but he's also full of justice.

He's full of judgment.

He's full of wrath.

We just don't talk about that very much.

And you and I, I believe, really get to decide which side of God I want to live on.

I want to live on that favorable side.

I want to be on that cleanse, set apart, consecrated, yielded, surrendered, walking in obedience side.

Anybody with me this morning?

So he's still holy and he requires holy living.

Amen.

So he's given us direct access.

I ain't got to go through Tim or Adam or Scott or Pastor Dad, as holy as he is.

I might go through Pastor Dad.

But anyway.

Do you see what I'm saying?

I don't have to call up the priest, and I ain't got to call somebody and say, I need to get to God.

Can you get me there?

No.

You and I have direct access because of the completed covenant work that Jesus did on the cross, and it's so good.

It's so good.

Thank you, Lord.

All right.

Write down in the couple verses down there in Hebrews verse 16.

Again, sacrifices, what are we doing?

Don't forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices, God is well pleased.

So it's different sacrifices.

Jesus is our eternal high priest.

We're all a part of the priesthood, men and women, boys and girls, believers of Jesus Christ.

Good works and generosity should become a part of just the norm, the natural sacrifice of our lives.

All right.

Let's go back to the strange fire.

Let's go talk about that for a moment.

Not trying to lay on you the Old Testament requirements of the priesthood.

However, there are some standards to keep and some mistakes to avoid as his New Testament priesthood.

Amen.

So in Leviticus chapter 10, back to chapter 10 and verses 8 through 11, and this is after the judgment and the fire of uh Nadab and Abihu.

Leviticus 10 · chapter mention

Is that on there?

The Lord spoke to Aaron saying, Don't drink wine or intoxicating drink.

You nor your sons with you.

He's only got two now, Eliezer and uh Ithamar.

When you go into the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die.

Wow.

It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, that you may distinguish between the holy and unholy, between the unclean and clean, and that you may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the Lord has spoken to them by the hand of Moses.

We need to get swivels stools.

That'd be amazing.

I know Christian would love.

Christian, wouldn't you love a sware, buddy?

Wouldn't you love a swivel stool to yell at us from?

All right.

All right.

So this is a this is a the these verses are a realignment.

They're a collecting of thoughts by the Lord to get Aaron's attention and his remaining sons and Moses and everyone else that is listening at this point.

This is this is these are corrective, realigning uh thoughts and verses for for Aaron and his sons.

Isn't it interesting that he says, no intoxicating drink?

I I studied a good bit on this.

I couldn't find in this initial what we're talking about with them being set apart, them being consecrated, all the garments, the oil, the sacrifices that they had to make.

I couldn't find where the Lord mentioned alcohol until this point.

So it kind of leaves the door open for you and I to speculate and possibly believe that Nadav and Abihu were not only messed up, but that they were they were under the influence.

They were under the influence.

It was altering their ability to do what they had been trained, equipped, and anointed to do.

Come on, somebody.

So you and I have to have to recognize, you say, Well, what are you talking about?

You're telling us you're telling us we can't drink?

I'm telling you to talk to Jesus.

I'm telling you to go to the Lord.

I'm telling you to study it in Scripture and don't just go with your own thing and what you feel and what you think is okay for you.

I know for a lot of us in the room, I'm one of them.

I was delivered from alcoholism.

I was delivered from a generational curse of that, so it's no bueno for me.

Come on, amen.

No, you ain't got to clap.

You don't have to clap.

There's a lot of us, too.

Matter of fact, just about every preacher I know, with the exception of all these that we've got.

But just about every preacher I know has been delivered from some kind of addiction.

Which makes us human.

Come on.

Come on.

All right.

No intoxicating drink.

Here's what we want to get a hold of is the being able to distinguish dads, moms, single parents, grandparents, kids.

We want to be able to distinguish between the holy and the unholy.

Between what's clean and what's unclean, between what's sacred and what's common in the day that we live in.

In this culture that you and I find ourselves in.

Go ahead and throw that next slide up.

There's no way that we can do that at the level of holiness.

Do what?

Recognize the difference.

Distinguish between the holy and unholy.

No way that we can do that at the level of holiness that God requires without the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

And it begins with the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

The elect according to the foreknowledge of God, the Father in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ.

Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.

Is that what those verses say?

Because that's not what I wanted to say.

I mean, those are great.

But this is what I'm trying to get to you.

Apologize.

It's in chapter one.

Watch it be two.

Watch it be two.

Oh yeah.

Sorry.

Two.

Okay, so that was good.

That's not part of the message.

Just say, God bless him.

He's having surgery in the morning.

All right.

2 Peter 1.

I'm going to wear that out because, you know, once it's done, it's over, Pastor Scott.

Can't talk about it no more.

It went great, went good.

I'm doing good.

Boy, it was tough, though.

I had that surgery.

Anyway.

Verse 2.

Grace and peace be multiplied.

This is 2 Peter chapter 1.

2 Peter 1 · chapter mention

As his divine power has given to us, someone say that's me.

Has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these, through what?

These great and precious promises, that through these you and I may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Come on.

Got to have the baptism and the power of the Holy Spirit because that's what qualifies me and puts me in position to be a partaker, to be a partner in.

To be a sharer, to be a recipient.

Are y'all hearing this?

Of the very nature of God.

All of his quality, all of his character is available to you and I through the power of the Holy Spirit and through our relationship with him.

Nadab and Abihu were flippant.

They were lazy.

They offered wrong coals from the wrong fire.

Listen to this.

They disregarded his character and they misrepresented his nature.

Disregarded his character and misrepresented his nature.

Aaron, wow, their father had obviously emphasized the task of the priesthood and not transmitted the virtues.

So dads, moms, grandparents, guardians, overseers, mentors, teachers, trainers.

We have to make sure that our kids don't just see us praying, worshiping, and serving without making sure that they understand the heart that is behind it.

It can become ritualistic, it can become religious, it can become traditional in a bad way, right?

That has no life, has no power in it.

So, and and and please hear me.

I know that that is a work of the Holy Spirit.

I know that's a work of the Holy Spirit that He has to do in the hearts of a Nadab and an Abihu and of your kids and of your grandkids.

But you want to do everything you can with the help of the Holy Spirit to make sure they understand why we do this and why you love to do it.

You know, we have a thing around here.

We say we get to serve.

They need to understand that.

We get to come to worship, we get to give.

Come on.

They need to understand that.

They need to see that.

They need to see the heart, they need to see the joy that you and I have in getting to be a part of the family of God.

Man, it's just a thought that I had of how close and how involved God was to those moments of the altar and the sacrifice and the fire and the uh the incense.

And he's watching all of that, how close he was to it, and then how quickly, how quickly he acted immediately with that judgment and with that correction.

He was just as quick to react when it was right.

Come on.

When it was in order, when when the the heart was obedient, but he was also quick to correct and to bring judgment.

And we, man, I don't know about you.

I I mean, I still look at it and I know it was horrible, but I'm like, man, that's tough.

That's tough.

But that's how holy our God is.

That's how righteous He is.

That's how that's how cleansed you and I can be, right?

Does anyone, does anyone, we sang it.

Does anyone want to live righteously?

Does anyone want to live holy?

Does anyone want to be purified?

Does anyone want to be set apart?

Does anyone want to be consecrated?

Does anyone want to be a vessel that he can flow through?

Does anyone want to be purified?

Come on.

He'll take you up on it every time.

I'll take you up on it every time.

Today our worship must be pure, our service must be passionate, and our example must be consistent.

And just to kind of give us a compass and maybe a little bit of a bearing.

Greg, you can come back to the keyboard.

But to give us a bearing today of where do I start?

How do I begin to distinguish?

And y'all, that that is a that's a team effort, first of all.

Come on.

For you to discern, to watch, to guard, to be the gatekeeper for the windows and the doorways into the lives of your family and those that you're responsible for, even yourself.

And to have the Holy Spirit there to check you and say, Yeah, don't we really don't need to be watching that.

We don't really need to be participating in that.

We don't need to go there.

We don't need to do this.

Oh, here's 22 things that you could be doing, that you can be doing.

Because a lot of times I think we look at God and go, yeah, he's just a killjoy and just tells us all the things that we can't do.

No, he's got a lot for you to do.

There's a gospel to spread, there's a kingdom to advance, there's a church to build.

Come on, somebody.

There are generations that are that are waiting to be mentored, to be trained, to be coached, to be loved, to be shown the example of what it looks like to live for Jesus.

We take that very seriously around here.

Very, very seriously.

But I thought I think our values, Pastor Scott, Britt, I think our values is just a great compass and place for all of us to start.

We got them plastered on the wall out there for you when you walk out of the lobby into more of the commons there.

They're right there on the left.

If you haven't already, you need to take a picture of it.

You take a picture of those values.

Those are not just rock house values.

It's actually a way to live.

It's a very balanced, powerful principle that you and I can apply personally and to our families.

100% dependent on the Holy Spirit.

Believing God for the impossible, living in the fear of the Lord, preferring others over ourselves, and then being stewards and not owners.

You're going to continue to hear these.

We're going to continue to remind you.

We're going to continue to keep them in front of us because we believe that these values will actually help us grow into mature followers of Jesus.

Can I go as far as to say mature priesthood?

Who can discern between the holy and the unholy, the sacred and the common?

You might want to, I'm just, hey, you might want to take a value this week and say, hey family, this is the value we're going to live out this week.

This is the value we're going to study.

This is the value we're going to talk about.

This is the value we're going to pray over.

This is the one that we're going to apply to our lives this week.

And then once you get to all five of them, you say, what will I do then?

Start back over.

Right?

Or depend on the Holy Spirit to show you which one to go back to.

Alright.

Is that it?

I think it is.

Our example and our consistency.

As parents and grandparents and dads.

It it it really I don't I don't know how to put a value on it, other than to just kind of reiterate it to you.

And to say you you won't really know possibly until your kids get a little bit older and they turn back and go, thank you for teaching me that.

Thank you for showing me that.

Thank you for leading me in that way.

I think what I want you to do today is stand.

Can I get you to stand with me?

And I want to, if again, this is on you, but I want to invite all of our dads and our granddads.

I want I want to invite you to the altar.

Come to the front.

Come on.

As my son says, move with purpose.

That's what he tells his kids.

Move with purpose.

Wow.

Wow.

Come on, just get out of the house.

Come on, just pile up around in here.

Come on, this is amazing.

This is amazing.

I'm gonna wait on you because I don't want to start praying until.

And then I got one last thing I want to share with you that is just it's the Holy Ghost.

It's gold.

I love it when the Holy Spirit does what he does.

Y'all press on it a little bit.

I know.

We still got folks in the aisles, got guys, come on, just yeah, kind of look behind you, bring them on, tell them you got space.

I am blown away, Pastor Scott, by this.

This is amazing.

This is amazing.

Wow.

So everything that I've told you today is in the scripture, right?

This holy living, uh, the right kind of fire, getting that fire from the right altar, which is an intimate personal relationship that you have with Jesus.

It's got to start there.

I want to pray specifically over you today that you'd be baptized if you've not been, that you right now, in this moment, will be filled with the Holy Spirit.

If you're already filled with the Holy Spirit, that you'll be refreshed and renewed and replenished.

Adam kind of handled it in worship.

You know, he kind of went there toward the end of our time of worship.

But I want to pray again.

I want, I want you and I to have discernment.

I want us to have our eyes open.

I want us to keep our spiritual head on a swivel.

Let's be engaged.

Let's look our kids in the eyes.

Look our wife, our spouse.

If you're doing this by yourself, I want you to gather your kids and look them in the eye and say, hey, here's who we are, here's what we're doing.

If you want to start with the values, start with the values.

All right?

That's some very clear direction for you and I to take.

It's not like, I don't know what to do.

Where am I supposed to start?

No.

Start with those values.

Start with those values.

They're they're rooted and grounded in Scripture.

I'm praying for discernment.

I'm gonna pray over us that you and I will have a passion and a hunger to lead with holiness and consistency.

And if you're a spouse in the room or a child and your grandparent or your parent is up here, can I get you to just stretch your hands toward these men today?

Let's stretch our hands toward these men today.

Man, can I just get you to hold your hands out?

We're just gonna receive from God.

We're gonna receive from God.

Thank you, Jesus.

Father, I just I love you.

I love you so much.

And Lord, I know these men love you.

And I know that they have a heart for you.

And I know, God, that they wouldn't be here today if they hadn't decided that we're going this direction.

We're gonna follow Jesus.

We're gonna worship the Lord, we're gonna be a part of his church and a part of his kingdom.

So, Lord, it's kind of from that vantage point, from that foundation today, I'm asking you to baptize every single one of them.

Kidabasa in the name of Jesus.

Come on, just receive.

I receive the fullness, I receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

I receive it, Lord.

Come on me, Holy Spirit.

Come in me, come on me.

I receive you now.

I receive you now.

Every man, every Man, just begin to praise him.

Just begin.

I love you, Jesus.

Hallelujah.

I worship you.

I glorify you.

I magnify you, Lord.

I magnify you, Lord Jesus.

Father, I pray for every every evidence, every indicator of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, I thank you for fire.

I thank you for boldness.

I thank you for joy.

I thank you for peace.

I thank you for courage.

I thank you for tongues.

I thank you for all of it, God, that comes from you now by the power of the name of Jesus.

Mark us this Father's Day by baptizing us.

Hallelujah.

And Lord, refresh those that are being re-baptized, those that are being refilled, those that are being renewed.

That fire is being rekindled, God.

Those coals, God, you're blowing on the coals.

Hallelujah.

Those Holy Spirit coals that are down in our soul, God, that for whatever reason ashes have built up.

God, come with your wind.

Come with your wind.

And Lord, blow, blow upon the coals of our soul and our spirit and fill us up today.

And Lord, would you give us discernment by the Spirit?

Would you help us to be gatekeepers?

Would you help us to have eyes of the Spirit?

Would you help us to see beyond the surface?

Would you give us the gift of discernment, the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge?

God, those gifts to be able to operate and function as we lead our families, God.

We thank you for that.

Lord, would you stir up and give us a fresh passion and hunger to lead with holiness and consistency?

Holiness and consistency.

If you receive that today, say I do in Jesus' name.

Amen, amen, amen.

Yeah.

Stay where you are.

Stay where you are.

I should have done this a little bit different, but uh I'm just gonna speak this over all of the sons and daughters.

Okay?

This is for everyone in the room, but this is for all of the men in the room also.

That maybe you never received a father's blessing.

Maybe he never spoke over you, loved you, but might have not ever been able to put it in words, or might not have done such a great job.

Right?

And you've carried stuff up to this altar that you carry today.

Things you heard, things you saw, things you felt.

And there's no magic, there's no magic pill in this.

Do you understand what I'm it's powerful when I'm about to speak over you because it's the word of God.

But I want you to receive it from your heavenly father today.

And if you can, from an earthly father, I just happen to be the one that's saying it over you today.

But hopefully you can possibly hear it in your dad's voice today, too.

But I believe the Holy Spirit's here right now, all over the room.

I believe he's up through the balconies.

I believe he's in the very back.

I believe you're going to receive this today.

I bless you in the name of the Lord.

I bless you with a strong identity.

And you will always know who you are and whose you are.

A beloved child of God, called and chosen for his purposes.

I bless you with fruitfulness in every area of your life.

May the Lord give you the dew of heaven and the richness of the earth, and may the work of your hands prosper, and may your life overflow with provision and abundance without sorrow.

We bless you with wisdom and discernment.

May your heart delight in God's word, and may you walk in integrity, courage, and truth all the days of your life.

We bless you with God's protection and favor.

May the Lord bless you and keep you.

May uh his face shine upon you.

And may he be gracious to you, and may he lift his countenance upon you and give you his peace and write his name on you and say, You belong to me.

We bless you with destiny and legacy.

May you fulfill every calling that God has placed on your life.

And may you rise into your purpose with boldness.

May your children and your children's children and their children, even down to a thousand generations, if the Lord tarries, walk in the blessing of the Lord because of your faithfulness.

My child, you are deeply loved, and you're a precious gift from the Lord, and we release you into the full blessing of the Lord.
