  1. We are in reach 23. Well done, little bit of a pause

  2. but World arm and what is reads, 23, if you're visiting or you

  3. haven't been here. But for the past couple of weeks

  4. reach last year, I launched reach, which is essentially our

  5. 10-year Vision. If you like to extend our reach

  6. to reach the Lost, thank you, Edward Cathy over there and this

  7. really is something that we've done throughout the life of this

  8. church for 35 plus years because we recognize, that is the

  9. mission of the church, isn't it? The mission?

  10. Of the church is to proclaim the gospel of Christ in word and in

  11. deed and so that is what we are doing and I launched reach last

  12. year. And how are we going to reach

  13. the lost by what creating Well done.

  14. Excellent. That's exactly how we do it yet.

  15. It's thank you. People are pointing to the

  16. greeted by their Mark. Yes, I know.

  17. But you you at least engaged? Well, that's creative spaces and

  18. places. So last year we did some amazing

  19. spaces. Didn't we add the brand new

  20. youth Auditorium that we use throughout the week?

  21. The new Venture Land space and you Treasure Chest Ministry

  22. which is our special educational needs Ministry many other

  23. spaces. We launched that I'm probably

  24. going to forget in this. Moment, but we did lots of

  25. things and then places as we launch a new multi site model,

  26. what does that mean? You know, historically, we have

  27. planted autonomous, churches out.

  28. And we said, right off you go, go start a church, independent

  29. churches. But what we're doing is what's

  30. called multi site. Where essentially, we set up

  31. different geographical locations.

  32. One Church, many sites that we can extend our borders Beyond

  33. this building and as you guys all know Hatfield launched last

  34. year with our site pass, Has a general.

  35. This is the fourth week that are meeting on a Sunday.

  36. Would you bless them? Lord.

  37. And we just seen so much fruit from that, which is so exciting.

  38. And so, this year, I recapped, in terms of spaces and places,

  39. we looked last week at spaces, the brand-new connect Lounge

  40. that, we're going to be building this year and I love the way

  41. Richard kind of position that for us.

  42. It's like the whole, when you go to someone's house, they welcome

  43. you in the hall. They take your coat.

  44. Would you like a drink? And that's what we don't have in

  45. this place. People will To the huge

  46. building. The felt overwhelmed is

  47. difficult to connect. We have a welcome desk that

  48. people don't even realize, is there.

  49. And so it connect Lounge, will be can be intentional on hosting

  50. people. Well, and connecting people and

  51. having a pastoral component of that, in that space and and the

  52. Bookshop as well, all of those things.

  53. And then we spend time with the Edward looking at the brand new

  54. Young Adult Ministry that we launched in, which is really

  55. exciting. We're going to be launching a

  56. Sunday evening service. Probably September, although

  57. timing to be confirmed and that's really exciting.

  58. Plus a ton of other initiatives as we focus on our young adults,

  59. 18 to 25. And some of those stats Edward

  60. was sharing with regards to the thousands that we have on our

  61. doorstep in the University. I met some, some students here

  62. this morning for the first time from that very University, how

  63. many 30,000? I think you said, 32,000,

  64. apologies, I missed that 32,000 on our doorstep, and that is

  65. really exciting. And so that brings us to today,

  66. which is the places component of reach 23 and it's worth saying

  67. that next week. We're going to look at everyone

  68. gets to play, how we can be involved in reach a 23, because

  69. as is of our Alum, a prophetess who spoke to us as a church

  70. before covid. Said, you know, let there's a

  71. lot of resources in here that need to run, open the gates and

  72. let them run. You know this can't be done

  73. without you. The reason we did are all that

  74. we did last year was because Because of you.

  75. And so we're going to be looking at that next week.
