  1. I'm speaking this morning as Tom said on intimacy and unity.

  2. There is a war over your intimacy with Christ because

  3. everything flows from that place of unity.

  4. It's the place where most truly alive, but it is also a costly

  5. Place. Isaiah 55 verse 1 probably come

    Isaiah 55:1

  6. up on the screen in a minute. Hopefully it stays this come.

  7. All you who are thirsty. Come to the waters and you who

  8. have no money. Come buy and eat.

  9. Come buy wine. And milk without money and

  10. without cost. Why spend money on what is not

  11. bread and your labor and what does not satisfy?

  12. Listen, listen to me and eat what is good and you will

  13. Delight in the richest of fare if ear and come to me, listen

  14. that you may live. I was confused when I was

  15. reading that a while ago because it says there's no cost, come

  16. buy, wine and milk without money without cost and our site Lord.

  17. But we're here all the time as the cost to following you and I

  18. can personally testify to that. So I was asking Lord, what's the

  19. quiet? You know, what is the cost?

  20. And the Amplified version answers that question.

  21. I'll read it in the Amplified wait and listen everyone who is

  22. thirsty, come to the waters and he who has no money, come buy

  23. and eat. Yes.

  24. Come buy Priceless, spiritual wine and milk without money.

  25. And without price bracket, simply for the self-surrender.

  26. That accepts the blessing simply for the self-surrender that

  27. accepts the blessing. That's the cost, that's the

  28. price self-surrender but we don't want to surrender.

  29. We like to sit on the throne of our own lives.

  30. We don't like not being in control.

  31. Even when being in control means being in control of our fears,

  32. Surrendering to God is offensive to our flesh.

  33. It sometimes terrifies our pledge.

  34. But surrender is a necessary precursor to intimacy.

  35. Intimacy with God, has been a struggle for me and major battle

  36. for me. I'm probably not the only one is

  37. anybody else identify with that in the room?

  38. Thank you. Why is intimacy with God?

  39. A struggle. I think there are lots of

  40. reasons for this, but I've noted three and I think there might

  41. have here, they're not working this so it is working good.

  42. Number one relationship with our own parents.

  43. I think in particular fathers but possibly mothers as well.

  44. If our own parents mothers, All fathers were absent emotionally

  45. distant, or abusive will have difficulty believing that God is

  46. loving and kind and near and deeply relational.

  47. Number two, knowledge thinking it's enough to learn about

  48. Jesus, instead of coming to him. I'm guilty of that one.

  49. I like learning things, but knowing about Jesus is not the

  50. same as knowing him. And I think the western church

  51. Has been a church in pursuit of knowledge.

  52. We're drowning in knowledge but it has not made us any wiser.

  53. John 5:39 240 says this you search the scriptures because

    John 5:39

  54. you think that in them you have eternal life and it is they that

  55. bear witness about me and yet you refuse to come to me that

  56. you may have life Bad point. Trust do I really trust God?

  57. God. Do I really trust you?

  58. if I abandon myself to you, when you let me down in that place of

  59. vulnerability, and I think often our lack of trust comes from

  60. comes from places of trauma. Shame rejection, unhealed,

  61. wounds broken places within us where we work.

  62. So hard to protect ourselves and we'd rather keep those places

  63. hidden and make ourselves vulnerable to Jesus.

  64. And to other people last year, I had about six weeks of

  65. counseling and one of the weeks I had confessed to my counselor

  66. that I really struggled Bray. And she said it's not just

  67. words. He said God looks at your heart

  68. too and I said that's the problem.

  69. My heart is numb and she looked at me and she said that's

  70. trauma. I thought really, I just thought

  71. I was cold hearted my husband's husband's laughing.

  72. I mean that is what Satan wanted me to think you accuse her.

  73. Oh you just didn't you just that you never be there to never be

  74. there. You're not a proper Christian.

  75. Not like all of them it can name any Etc.

  76. So I went away did a bit of research bought the books

  77. because I like to learn things. What some books on trauma and I

  78. thought, gosh, she's right and the lord gave me a picture and

  79. it was a picture of a scar. It was sitting over my soul, a

  80. big fat cigar and it was numb, and I knew that it was badly

  81. healed trauma where things had not been addressed they had just

  82. been stuffed down. and at the beginning of this year, Nina had

  83. a word for me. Many of you will know Nina burn

  84. she and Marie Hughes Poli. The attic company with me.

  85. So anyway, Nina had had a word for me at the beginning of the

  86. year and she said, Jesus is saying to you talitha koum me.

  87. So before I carry on, I'm just going to read the scripture or

  88. context. Their Mark 5 verses 21 to 24,

    Mark 5:21–24

  89. verses 35:43 when Jesus had again crossed over by boat to

  90. the other side of the lake. A large crowd gathered around

  91. him while he was by the lake. Then one of the synagogue

  92. Leaders name gyrus. Okay.

  93. My, when he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet.

  94. He pleaded earnestly with him. My little daughter is dying,

  95. please come and put your hands on her so that she will be

  96. healed. And then they Jesus went with

  97. him picking up at verse 35. So the interim was the healing

  98. of the woman with the issue of blood but he makes it to gyrus

  99. his house while Jesus was still speaking.

  100. Some people came from the house of gyrus to synagogue leader.

  101. Your daughter is dead. And they said, why bother the

  102. teacher any more overhearing, what they said, Jesus told him,

  103. don't be afraid, just believe he did not.

  104. Let anyone follow him, except Peter James and John.

  105. The brother of James when they came to the home of the

  106. synagogue leader, Jesus thought a commotion with people crying

  107. and wailing loudly. He went in and said to them.

  108. Why all this commotion and wailing?

  109. The child is not dead, but asleep, but they laughed at him

  110. other translations. Inside.

  111. I did, they mocked him after? He put them all out.

  112. He took the child's father and mother and the disciples who

  113. were with him and went in where the child was.

  114. He took her by the hand and he said to her, tell Leaf economy.

  115. Which means little girl, I say to you get up immediately, the

  116. girl stood up and began to walk around.

  117. She was 12 years old at this, they were completely astonished,

  118. he gave strict orders not to let anyone know about About this and

  119. he told them to give her something to eat and Nina said

  120. to me, Jesus is going to minister to you as a little

  121. girl. Well things have died and not

  122. being able to grow up. He is saying, Charlie / who me?

  123. And this word resonated so deeply with me and I immediately

  124. saw that scar again. But this time I saw that it was

  125. sitting on top of a burial mound, but I've been buried

  126. underneath badly healed trauma. In shame.

  127. Now, you know when when the Lord begins to move things, don't

  128. always happen instantaneously and we'd like them to, that's

  129. not often the way how it works. He invites us into a process and

  130. a journey with him and he holds our hand as we walk.

  131. So, in this place now, armed with imagery and an

  132. understanding of what the Holy Spirit was doing in my life.

  133. I began to cry out for intimacy, but I would know his presence

  134. where before there had just been numbness.

  135. And as time went on, I got specific, I said, Lord, I want

  136. the gift of intimacy for my birthday.

  137. She can do that. You can ask Jesus for a birthday

  138. present. And I know we could, you know,

  139. possibly debate the Theology of the gift of intimacy.

  140. You won't find it in the Charisma gifts, but I was what I

  141. was asking for was just to know, Jesus more deeply in those numb

  142. places of my soul and my heart. Anyway, my birthday came and

  143. went beginning of April, had an amazing day two.

  144. Amazing days with my family because birthdays can't just

  145. last for one day anymore. Absolutely family, really

  146. spoiled me. But no gift from the Lord, but I

  147. knew exactly why I wanted the gift of intimacy.

  148. But I was too busy with birthday things to really get before the

  149. Lord. I wanted the blessing but I

  150. didn't make time to do the self-surrender that accepts the

  151. blessing. The two days after my birthday,

  152. I went for a long walk with Jesus.

  153. And I repented for my business and I asked him about my gear,

  154. and he's so gracious. Jesus, it doesn't say well, you

  155. weren't there on your birthday. So that's it.

  156. You know, he came to me and he handed me a beautiful box, and I

  157. opened it up, and it was a pressure and it was shimmering

  158. that almost translucent with this holographic.

  159. Quality to it, like, like, it was just a woven into this

  160. fabric where Deep truths and unrevealed Mysteries, such a

  161. beautiful thing. And I remember thinking ah, this

  162. what intimacy looks interesting Some of you will probably know

  163. that the Hebrew word for brash. All this Talent, literally means

  164. little tent. So when I got home, I put on my

  165. prayer, shawl in the spirit, under my little tent, and I had

  166. the most beautiful time in prayer, such deep connection.

  167. And in that place, I was reminded of something, my friend

  168. Sally had told me that, the permanent of talent is Talisa I

  169. told you last time disclaimer, I might cry.

  170. So one way to interpret. Jesus's words tell he's the COO

  171. me, his little girl, under the pressure on the rise.

  172. He was calling me out of the burial place of numbness into

  173. felt intimacy with him. I always find it.

  174. So beautiful, how the Lord joins up, our little pieces of

  175. Revelation and one glorious narrative.

  176. But, you know something else struck me in that place of

  177. prayer, I was so aware that I was under my prayer shawl, but I

  178. was also, I became also really aware that at the same time that

  179. I was under my pressure. But I was also under a tiny

  180. piece of Jesus pressure that he has spread over all believers.

  181. And the Lord took me to the prayer of Jesus in John 17,

  182. where he prays for all other believers and are we this

  183. portion? I pray also for those who will

  184. believe in me through their message, but all of them may be

  185. one. Father, just as you are in me

  186. and I am in. You may they also be in us so

  187. that the world may believe that you have sent me.

  188. I have given them the glory that you gave me that they may be

  189. one. As we are one i in them and you

  190. in me so that they may be brought to complete Unity.

  191. Then the world will know that you sent me and loved me and

  192. loved them. Even as you have loved me,

  193. father, I want those, you have given me to be with me where I

  194. am and to see my glory, the glory, you have given me Because

  195. You Loved Me. Before the creation of the

  196. world. This is amazing in these five

  197. short verses where Jesus prays for all believers.

  198. As many things you could have prayed for, but what does he

  199. praying for Oneness and unity over and over he prays for it

  200. and it is clearly very important.

  201. And I saw in this moment of Revelation the degree to which

  202. intimacy and unity are intrinsically connected.

  203. And I knew that even as I was uniquely held in, Seen and known

  204. under my personal prayer shawl. I was also joined with every

  205. other believer in Christ Jesus in their position of intimacy.

  206. Windex. And I saw how vital intimacy.

  207. I saw how vital Unity is but all of them, maybe one but they may

  208. be brought to complete Unity. Then then the world will believe

  209. you have sent me. Then the world will know that

  210. you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

  211. Unity is a sign to an unbelieving world.

  212. But what is Unity? Well I can tell you what.

  213. It isn't. It isn't intellectual agreement.

  214. It isn't tolerance masquerading as love.

  215. It isn't interface or all paths, lead to God.

  216. There are many counterfeits to genuine unity in this day.

  217. The Hebrew word for Unity has occurred, ecch ad?

  218. It does not mean intellectual assent.

  219. It means Oneness with God, in spirit, The word echoed is

  220. really interesting. It means one, but made up of

  221. more than one part. A compound Unity.

  222. There is another word for want in the Bible.

  223. Yeah, khed why ACH ID, which means one and only Deuteronomy

    Deuteronomy 6:4

  224. 6:4, the Shema hear o Israel. The Lord our God is one God.

  225. You would think that word 411 guard would be.

  226. Yeah, khed. He is the one and only there is

  227. no one like him, but it isn't. It's occurred, he is one but he

  228. has separate parts joined in total and complete Oneness.

  229. Father, son, Holy Spirit, the Triune God and it strikes me as

  230. more than a little bit mind-blowing that we are invited

  231. into this Oneness. We are invited to put our feet,

  232. On the soil of Deuteronomy 6:4, you know, when I'd read that

    Deuteronomy 6:4

  233. scripture, previously, I'd always thought God is other.

  234. He's over there somewhere, he's distant.

  235. But he's inviting us to come and abide with him.

  236. In that scripture, he's inviting us into that Oneness.

  237. The Lord, our God is one, God were invited into that Wonders

  238. that all of them may be one, even as we are one and that they

  239. may be in US. So when the Bible speaks about

  240. Oneness and unity, it is, first and foremost, me as an

  241. individual coming into Oneness and unity with God.

  242. It's you coming into Oneness and unity with God, it is vertical.

  243. Before it is horizontal, we try and do the horizontal bit, don't

  244. we try to rub along together, you know?

  245. But this is more than a Community Club of like-minded

  246. people. We're not here to just gather

  247. around. Common interests are not here.

  248. Being an echo chamber of ideologies.

  249. Who remembers it? Wasn't long ago, couple of

  250. months ago, Revival Sunday. What I was, what we call it in

  251. our house. It was a Sunday before we went

  252. to Services, where church just went on, it was amazing.

  253. I'm sure quite a few of you were here and all my husband on the

  254. way home. He said to me he said I just

  255. felt so intimately connected with everybody around me and we

  256. were laughing cause we were like, that's not you, then

  257. probably pull his an introvert. He doesn't you're not going to

  258. find him at the door hugging all the People, that's not who he

  259. is. So we knew we knew this is this

  260. is Supernatural. I've got a friend called Colleen

  261. who I can only describe as a stupa CO a series of prophet who

  262. sees into the spirit realm and she sees incredibly clear than

  263. Veil for her is very thin. And she has done an enormous

  264. amount of biblical study, and research to make sense of what

  265. she sees. And the prophetic company had a

  266. zoom call with her. So she could teach us about

  267. angels. I don't know.

  268. It seemed cool. She spoke about the off and them

  269. brains Angels. Many scholars believe they are

  270. indeed a separate class of angels.

  271. You got the seraphim cherubim or phanom.

  272. They are angels who help guard the Throne of God.

  273. Indeed, Angels, who possibly are responsible to move the Throne

  274. of God. They're the wheels of his

  275. Chariot and they're described as Wheels within wheels will often

  276. m is Hebrew for wheel. It'll come up on the screen.

  277. I'm not going to read it. But Colleen said that, what

  278. these angels look like to her in the spirit.

  279. She saw Wheels within Wheels. Moving over a particular

  280. congregation and she said they were spinning and moving but it

  281. was like parts of them were coming down and descending and

  282. resting on people and she said it looked at her like feathers

  283. were coming to rest on people and then they would ask send

  284. again and these wheels within Wheels would carry on moving.

  285. But she said, what that did the act of that in the congregation

  286. was this incredible sense of Oneness and unity and intimacy.

  287. I believe that that was what Paul is experiencing and I don't

  288. believe he was the only one. I know where I mentioned at am

  289. wherever you said. The same thing.

  290. I think others were experiencing the same thing too.

  291. And I believe this is a foretaste of what we are.

  292. The day is that we're stepping into.

  293. Little bit of context around the feathers because if people are

  294. seeing feathers in church, particularly actual feathers, I

  295. know, you know, I've heard stories, I'm always like, where

  296. is that in the word of God? I want to know where it is, in

  297. the word, in numbers 15 God. Gave Moses instructions on how

  298. to make prayer shawls numbers. 1538 speak to the Israelites and

  299. say to them throughout the generations to come, you are to

  300. make tassels on the corners of your garments with a blue.

  301. On each tassel Corners in that scripture Hebrew is Canna

  302. translated Edge or Corner about 10 times Through the Bible,

  303. translators Wings, 58 times, Psalm 91.

  304. He will cover you with his feathers and under his wings,

  305. you will find Refuge Malachi 4:2.

    Malachi 4:2

  306. It says, but unto you that fear, my name shall the sun of

  307. righteousness arise with healing in his wings.

  308. AIDS and it's understood by Bible scholars, and Jewish

  309. people that were feathers. And wings are a reference to the

  310. fringes and tassels of presh the talent, The we are covered with

  311. Jesus intercession for us. We covered with his pressure

  312. were covered with his wings and feathers, and we are brought

  313. into Oneness with the Triune God, and with each other and it

  314. is Supernatural, is not obvious realm.

  315. You can't manufacture this Intimacy Unity Oneness and

  316. belonging. This is the atmosphere of

  317. Heaven. This is the atmosphere of the

  318. throne room. And I believe that those Thrones

  319. angels that Colleen saw all felt that Tam felt other people here

  320. may have seen that, too. I believe that they are living

  321. symbols of this one knows where we're covered under the wings

  322. and the feathers of Jesus. And as such healing in, this

  323. basement has protection refuge and rest in this place of

  324. intimacy. My one must have got.

  325. Yovan. This is how true Unity is

  326. creative. It's how we become one together.

  327. It is one of the ways Jesus builds his church, who our

  328. individual and corporate pressing into Unity knowing him

  329. better. We are the building blocks of

  330. the church livingstone's fit together so that the atmosphere

  331. of the throne room, the atmosphere of Heaven can be

  332. manifested in the Earth. I mentioned in my last talk, but

  333. for too long, the church has been building with the wrong

  334. materials. We've looked to the world for

  335. inspiration and we've ended up creating babbles building

  336. structures that elevate, man. But glorified religion, politics

  337. and cultural ideologies. And we've been through

  338. tremendous shaking, haven't we? I think we can all say yes.

  339. Been through tremendous shaking individually and corporately and

  340. as a result of all that shaking things are falling down and the

  341. things are falling apart. Barely a week goes by, but you

  342. don't hear of another church that is under scrutiny or

  343. crumbling. Golden your Roth remember

  344. Massey? God is dismantling Bibles in

  345. this day and he's building his church in his way.

  346. Psalm 127, verse 1. Unless the Lord builds the

    Psalms 127:1

  347. house, they who Labour labor in vain, and He is building with

  348. you. And I, he is building with the

  349. fabric of our intimacy. God is tearing down structures

  350. that do not bring glory to his name and I'm not pointing

  351. fingers. I've got structures on the

  352. inside of me that need to come down structures, created with

  353. the worldly fabric of self-righteousness, Pride doubt,

  354. and fear structures that keep me from intimacy with Jesus and

  355. from Oneness with him, we have built babbles within us.

  356. Structures and Towers. But we strive to attain God

  357. likeness without bar and it's Rebellion.

  358. A few years ago now, I found myself praying over and over the

  359. same prayer every day, it would just come up.

  360. I prayed it so often I gave a name, I called her, The

  361. Architects prayer and I would say Lord, I give you permission

  362. to come and restructure me on the inside.

  363. I come and give you permission to knock down walls song.

  364. We sang. Break our balls down.

  365. I'd say, open up the rooms Lord that are filled with old stuff,

  366. do a loft conversion, open up the windows, do an extension,

  367. repaint, the walls or do whatever you have to do on the

  368. inside of me so that your glory can come and really.

  369. What I was saying was Lord wherever Babel exists within me,

  370. tear it down. And as I was praying, this

  371. prayer the Lord began to speak to me about the Tabernacle in

  372. the wilderness where Moses was given specific instructions to

  373. build this resting place for God in the Earth at specific period

  374. of Jewish history. Everything was exact

  375. measurements colors materials designs, who was to make it,

  376. Everything was exact, why did it have to be so specific?

  377. Because what Moses created in the desert was an exact copy of

  378. the Heavenly reality, it was made to a Heavenly plan,

  379. Heavenly blueprint it was the opposite of Babel.

  380. You also are a tabernacle, you are every single one.

  381. If you belong to Jesus, you are a tabernacle, a little tent in

  382. the wilderness with a holy of holies within you.

  383. He's as Tabernacles with you in this place and it is from this

  384. place of intimacy and abiding with him that he will build his

  385. church in you and through you. In accordance with the Heavenly

  386. blueprint for your life. A desire of my heart.

  387. A deep desire of my heart is that my walk, my

  388. accomplishments, my life, will mirror the Heavenly blueprint,

  389. but what I build with my life will last for eternity and not

  390. be burned up like, straw, and Chad, I don't want to build my

  391. own stuff. I want to build what he has

  392. given me to build in the other want to carry my portion of the

  393. revelation of Jesus Christ in the earth.

  394. And we all have one And for us to walk in our calling and our

  395. destiny. It's not just for us it's not

  396. just that I get to live my best life.

  397. I do believe God wants us to live our best life.

  398. He has plans for us purposes for us, good plans, plans to

  399. prosperous and not to harm us. The give us a hope and a future,

  400. but we don't get there without the self-surrender, accept the

  401. blessing. We don't find our lives in him

  402. unless we first prepared to lose that.

  403. So the Lord is dismantling structures within us and in The

  404. Wider body and he is rebuilding. Is it uncomfortable?

  405. Yes I've put that in capitals with an exclamation mark Mark

  406. said a couple of weeks ago if you're not uncomfortable in your

  407. Christian walk you're probably not doing it right?
