  1. Thank you for listening to this message from Lifehouse Church.

  2. Good morning, Lifehouse.

  3. Come on, turn to somebody right now, say something to encourage it.

  4. Tell somebody beside you, you look pretty good for Sunday.

  5. Come on, tell them right now.

  6. You look pretty good for Sunday.

  7. Say it like you mean it, too.

  8. Come on, say it like you mean it.

  9. It is good to have you if you're listening online in one of the areas around,

  10. somewhere actually you can listen, I guess, across the globe these days.

  11. But it's good to have you if you're listening online and

  12. if you're in the house this morning.

  13. And I just really wanted to take a moment to recognize two young ladies,

  14. Addison Woodruff and Ashley Heller.

  15. Where's Ashley on those here?

  16. I don't think Addison is, but they both went this week from Lifehouse

  17. to compete at International Teen Talent.

  18. And that's a big deal.

  19. You may or may not know anything about International Teen Talent, but

  20. you have to go through Pennsylvania Teen Talent first.

  21. And you have to get superior scores here in Pennsylvania.

  22. And then you get to go compete at an international level.

  23. It's really just people coming together, young people coming together,

  24. really sharing the gifts that God's given them in all kind of different areas in

  25. the arts.

  26. And both of these young ladies went and competed this week.

  27. And Ashley won, she placed twice, which is almost unheard of.

  28. She got first place in, hopefully I get this right, raw photography.

  29. Did I get that correct?

  30. She gave me the nod.

  31. Okay, raw photography.

  32. And then Strings Boat, she took second place, and that is incredible.

  33. And both of them did an amazing job down there.

  34. Would you just give them a hand?

  35. Yeah.

  36. We are gifted.

  37. We are blessed here to have young people who are gifted and talented.

  38. And what makes my heart proud the most is that they use their abilities for

  39. the Lord.

  40. They could be using their abilities anywhere else.

  41. And they serve God with what they have and what they do.

  42. So it's incredible.

  43. It's amazing.

  44. And thank you.

  45. If you see Ashley, just give her a hug and give her a high five and

  46. tell her amazing job.

  47. And I know there's some proud parents back there sitting right beside her.

  48. They're giggling and smiling all the way.

  49. Incredible and it's amazing.

  50. But hey, last week, I did my best to drive home a particular idea or point.

  51. And I don't do this often, but I'm going to preach the second part of the message

  52. that I started last week.

  53. And last week, the big idea, the point I tried to drive home is that we will only

  54. worship God if we have a right appraisal of God.

  55. All right.

  56. We will only worship God if we have a right appraisal of God.

  57. I will only worship God if my value of God is in the right place, if it's on the right

  58. level.

  59. I will only worship God if I only truly understand His net worth.

  60. Right.

  61. I will only worship God if I put the right number on God's worth personally.

  62. Now that might sound a little strange to you.

  63. It might almost even sound a little unholy to you.

  64. You know, it might sound a little odd putting a number on God's worth for you personally.

  65. But I'm here to tell you, if you stay with me and you let me walk you down through scripture,

  66. you're going to find out that if you put the right number on God's worth, you will worship

  67. Him.

  68. And this is incredibly important because people miss this all the time.

  69. People don't engage in worship because their appraisal of God is all off.

  70. It's not in the right place.

  71. And they might show up to a worship service like this one.

  72. They might engage in some religious activity along the way.

  73. They might even ask God, right.

  74. They might go in prayer and ask God for something because we do that.

  75. We pray.

  76. We ask God for something.

  77. But if our appraisal of God is messed up, we will not worship God.

  78. We won't.

  79. And there are a few determining factors that help us appraise something or almost anything

  80. properly.

  81. Right.

  82. If you're going to appraise something, how many of you have ever had appraisal?

  83. I asked this last week.

  84. Do you ever have anything appraised?

  85. Do you ever appraise something yourself?

  86. Okay.

  87. You just look at yourself and appraise it.

  88. If you've ever appraised anything, there's a couple of things that you're going to check

  89. into and you're going to probably use or you should use to appraise properly.

  90. And one is quality.

  91. Say quality.

  92. Come on, preach with me.

  93. That's awesome.

  94. Okay.

  95. Quality.

  96. What is something made of?

  97. You know, what is it made up of?

  98. Is it made out of gold or is it made out of paper?

  99. How many know if I get my wife a new ring and it's pure gold, right?

  100. How many know the appraisal is a lot higher?

  101. Yeah.

  102. She's like, praise the Lord.

  103. This is just an example, an illustration, honey.

  104. Okay.

  105. But if I got her a ring, a pure gold, especially it was a big old diamond stacked on top of

  106. that thing, right?

  107. If I got her a ring of pure gold and gave it to her, that would have a different appraisal

  108. value in her eyes.

  109. Instead of me wrapping up a paper straw, right?

  110. How many ever take the paper off a straw and wrap it up and wrap it around your finger?

  111. I know that sounds very cute, right?

  112. And not near as nice as a gold ring with a big old diamond stock on top of it.

  113. Your appraisal would be different because of the quality.

  114. If your house is built out of wood and stone, it has a different appraisal quality than

  115. if it's made out of straw and mud, right?

  116. It's going to be an appraisal is going to be different.

  117. So if you're going to get an accurate appraisal of something, you got to understand what the

  118. quality is.

  119. The second thing you have to understand is what benefit it is to you.

  120. What kind of benefit is this going to bring to me?

  121. You know, as you're thinking about things that can bring benefit to you, how many know

  122. some automobiles that you buy get you from point A to point B, right?

  123. How many ever had an automobile that got you from point A to point B barely, right?

  124. I call it the barely do that automobile.

  125. Anybody ever have that?

  126. When we first got married, we had barely do that cars all the time, right?

  127. You didn't know if you got in, you don't know if they were going to start.

  128. You didn't know if you're going to get to where you were going.

  129. And matter of fact, we used to do this for real.

  130. When we went on a vacation with the barely do it kind of cars that we had, we put the

  131. title on the glove box because it wasn't worth towing if it broke down.

  132. We just called the junk man, come and get it.

  133. All right, pick it up, title's in the glove box, get the thing and go, right?

  134. So there's got to be benefit and appraisal of a car will be different based on what the

  135. car will do.

  136. If it barely gets you there, it's going to have one appraisal of value.

  137. If it's got GPS, a sunroof, right, sports suspension, right, so you can take the curves

  138. confidently notice I didn't say fast.

  139. OK, confidently, you know, if it's got air conditioned seats to keep your backside nice

  140. and cool, some of you like, yeah, all right, we don't have those, but I hear they're great.

  141. All right.

  142. So if you have that nice plush, you know, cushy and in the dead of summer keeps you

  143. nice and cool.

  144. There's a different right.

  145. You're going to praise that thing different.

  146. That's going to have a different value to you.

  147. That's number two benefit.

  148. Number three is demand.

  149. There's demand plays a part in appraising anything.

  150. The greater the love for something, the higher the appraisal value.

  151. It really is true.

  152. If you don't believe this, go to an auction sometime and watch when two people fall in

  153. love with whatever's on the stage getting auctioned off.

  154. Right.

  155. They're back.

  156. How many of you ever go to an auction and people pray for more than the things actually

  157. goes for new, right?

  158. They're like, oh, oh, you know, they got their little number on there and the auctioneers

  159. going and they just get there's two people.

  160. They love it.

  161. They just keep going.

  162. Boom.

  163. And they know that thing's going to happen.

  164. Everybody's going, you're nuts.

  165. You're crazy.

  166. They're out of their minds.

  167. Right.

  168. And they're going, wham.

  169. It's the man.

  170. What you love.

  171. So to get an accurate appraisal of anything, you got to understand the quality, you got

  172. to understand the benefits, you got to understand the demand for it.

  173. We place value on Jesus in our lives and it depends on our personal appraisal of Jesus.

  174. If it depends if Jesus is gold or paper in your life, right?

  175. The quality.

  176. It depends on if you understand the benefits that come along with being in Christ.

  177. It depends on the level, right?

  178. The demand, the level of love for God, for you, if you understand that and your love

  179. for him.

  180. All these factors play a role in your appraisal of Jesus and that will be the whole gauge

  181. your worship.

  182. If we see Jesus as Messiah, as savior, as Lord, as King of Kings, right?

  183. We worship.

  184. But if I don't believe that I might just simply admire him a bit.

  185. If we believe that he's Emmanuel, God with us, right?

  186. God incarnate among us, that he came and dwelt among us and he's among us through the Holy

  187. Spirit, I'll worship him.

  188. But if I don't believe that, if I just chalk it up that he's another God, you know, small

  189. G kind of thing.

  190. I might just consider him a prophet or a teacher or some religious figure that did some nice

  191. things and said some nice things.

  192. If I don't believe that there's a literal heaven and a literal hell that there are actual

  193. places and that my only hope of avoiding hell is Jesus, right?

  194. I may not worship him.

  195. I might not.

  196. If I don't believe that Jesus loves me more than anybody else on the face of the planet,

  197. if I don't believe that, my, I probably won't worship him.

  198. My appraisal of him is going to be messed up.

  199. My worship of him will probably be non-existent, honestly.

  200. And one of the reasons as a pastor, and pastors do this everywhere, one of the reasons that

  201. we're always talking about, listen, get into God's word, right?

  202. Listen to God's word, read God's word, because it gives you a revelation of who God is.

  203. It tells you the quality of God.

  204. It gives you a list of all the benefits that come along being in Christ.

  205. And number three, right?

  206. It gives you an accurate description of God's love for you.

  207. It really does.

  208. And it will change your appraisal of God.

  209. So today I'm going to take you to the Bible.

  210. I'm going to take you to the theme verse for this VBS for the entire week for Adventure

  211. Quest.

  212. And if you got your Bible, you can go to John chapter 14 verse one.

    John 14 chapter mention

  213. We're going to start there.

  214. John chapter 14 verse one.

    John 14 chapter mention

  215. And this verse, the scripture, and really the theme verse for this week is going to

  216. help us get an accurate appraisal of the one that we call King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

  217. Let me know when you're there.

  218. Say amen if you're there.

  219. Amen.

  220. Some of you are just going like, I don't got to do this, tilt my head.

  221. All right.

  222. So verse 14 one, he says this, let not your heart be troubled.

  223. You believe in God, believe also in me.

  224. In my father's house are many mansions.

  225. If it were not so, I would have told you.

  226. I go to prepare a place for you.

  227. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself.

  228. Where I go and where I am, there you may be also.

  229. Now let me just give you a little context here.

  230. He's talking to his disciples.

  231. Jesus is giving one of those, he's having one of those discussions with the disciples

  232. that I'm about ready to leave discussion.

  233. I don't know if you've ever had one of those with your kids, right?

  234. How many know when you're when your kids are younger and you're ready to leave the house

  235. or old enough to stay, you have a discussion with them.

  236. Like all right, no friends are allowed over the house.

  237. You're not allowed to get, do not make food.

  238. Please don't burn the house down.

  239. Right?

  240. You know, you start having those kind of discussions.

  241. Jesus is getting ready to leave.

  242. He's getting ready to leave this earth.

  243. He's getting ready to die and across and be crucified and go back and ascend to heaven.

  244. And he's having a talk with his disciples.

  245. He said, there's some things you need to know, right?

  246. I'm going to prepare a place for you is one of them.

  247. The place I'm going to, there's many mansions.

  248. I'm going to bring you there.

  249. I'm going to come and receive you to myself and where I am there, you may be also and

  250. where I go, you know, and the way you know, this is one of those I'm leaving soon kind

  251. of talks.

  252. I love you.

  253. I care about you.

  254. You need to know some things here.

  255. Right?

  256. And Thomas speaks up.

  257. Who's one of the 12, one of his closest 12 disciples.

  258. He says this in verse five, Thomas said to him, Lord, we do not know where you're going.

  259. And how can we know the way?

  260. Jesus says, I'm leaving.

  261. I'm going somewhere.

  262. And Thomas is going, well, we really don't know where to go.

  263. Right?

  264. We don't really know where you're going.

  265. How are we going to get there?

  266. And Jesus is about to tell him it's not about a physical location.

  267. It's not about a map necessarily.

  268. He says to him in verse six, and this is the theme verse for this week, I am the way, the

  269. truth and the life.

  270. No one comes to the Father except through me.

  271. He's getting ready to go to the Father.

  272. He's getting ready to send in heaven.

  273. He says the only way to get there is me.

  274. I'm the map.

  275. Right?

  276. I'm the key.

  277. I'm the tour guide.

  278. I'm the ticket in.

  279. I'm the way.

  280. There's only one gatekeeper to heaven.

  281. That is Jesus.

  282. Right?

  283. There's only one way you can get a ticket to eternal life.

  284. It's who?

  285. God.

  286. You got it right.

  287. All right.

  288. Good job.

  289. All right.

  290. So Jesus told him to God and to the God of the universe, and that is Jesus.

  291. And he told him I'm the way, I'm the truth and the life.

  292. That's the only way you're getting there.

  293. Jesus is the only tour guide to heaven and to God himself.

  294. He's the only one.

  295. He's the sole passage.

  296. He's the only way in.

  297. He's the only way we can get there.

  298. How valuable are you if you're the only one who can do something?

  299. How valuable are you?

  300. Where does your value go?

  301. If you're the only one that can keep people from destruction, if you're the only one that

  302. can get people to God, if you're the only one, let me ask you something.

  303. What's the value of that?

  304. It's incredible.

  305. Right?

  306. You know, this this whole set set up on the idea of Indiana Jones.

  307. Right?

  308. I think it's P.A.

  309. I get that correct for V.B.S.

  310. Because we got copyright things we can't do.

  311. Right.

  312. And and it's really about navigating past the things that are destructive.

  313. If you've seen the movie, you know, Indiana Jones is almost always getting something thrown

  314. at him.

  315. He's almost always getting killed.

  316. And it's the map that he has.

  317. And it's it's the guide that he has that gets him through.

  318. Jesus is the only way through.

  319. He's the only how valuable is Christ if he's the only one?

  320. If you've ever seen something that is the only one, how many know the value goes from

  321. here to here?

  322. If you've got a car and it's the only car on the face of the earth, if you've got a

  323. piece of jewelry and it's one of a kind, if you've got anything that's one of a kind,

  324. it goes from here to here.

  325. Jesus is the only one.

  326. How much would you pay for the only one who could keep you from hell, who can keep you

  327. from destruction, who can give you a life?

  328. How much would you pay?

  329. Thousands?

  330. Ten thousands?

  331. Millions?

  332. Maybe everything you've got.

  333. Right?

  334. He's that kind of the disciples are starting to get it.

  335. I think maybe for a second.

  336. Right?

  337. Jesus is the only one.

  338. Jesus tell him I'm it.

  339. This is my value is infinite.

  340. And he doesn't just stop there.

  341. He says there's much, much more.

  342. In verse two, Jesus told his disciples, I'm backtracking a little bit in my father's house

  343. or many mansions.

  344. If it were not so, I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you.

  345. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself

  346. that where I am there, you may be also.

  347. It's one thing, right?

  348. If you say somebody, it's one thing if you keep them from utter destruction, which is

  349. what Jesus does for our lives.

  350. It's another thing to say, I'm going to bring you to my house and keep you permanently at

  351. my house.

  352. Right?

  353. Come on.

  354. It's true.

  355. I might save your life or you might save my life in a crisis situation.

  356. You might perform CPR.

  357. You might drag me out of a pond from drowning.

  358. You might save my life in some way.

  359. That's one thing.

  360. That's an amazing thing.

  361. But how many know it's another thing to drag me out and say, you know what?

  362. I want you just to come live with me forever.

  363. Right?

  364. Nope.

  365. Throw him back.

  366. Okay.

  367. Come on.

  368. Right?

  369. Really?

  370. That's what Jesus says.

  371. He's on the way, the truth and where I'm going.

  372. I got a place and there's many mansions there.

  373. You know what he was saying?

  374. I'm going to my father's house.

  375. I'm going to the kingdom and there's a lot of mansions there.

  376. By the way, my father is wealthy.

  377. Okay.

  378. Beyond measure, wealthy.

  379. He's got mansions.

  380. He's got places.

  381. And not only am I the way, the truth and the life, not only will I keep you from destruction,

  382. not only will I give you life, but I'm going to bring you with me and we're going to go

  383. to my father's house and you're going to stay with me there in a new kingdom.

  384. I'll be coming soon.

  385. I'm going to come back.

  386. He's telling the disciples, I'm going to come back and get you to fully appreciate, to fully

  387. appreciate what Jesus says here.

  388. You got to know a little something about the father's kingdom.

  389. Let me read you just a little passage out of Revelation 21, starting with verse one.

  390. It says this, now I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first

  391. earth had passed away.

  392. Also there was no more sea.

  393. It says John the revelator, seeing heaven and seeing the new heaven and new earth.

  394. And then I, John, saw the holy city, new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, prepared

  395. as a bride adorned for her husband.

  396. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, behold, the tabernacle of God is with men

  397. and he will dwell with them and they shall be his people.

  398. And God himself will be with them and be their God.

  399. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

  400. There shall be no more death, no sorrow, no crying.

  401. There will be no more pain for the former things, the things now, right, have passed

  402. away.

  403. And he who sat on the throne said, behold, I make all things new.

  404. And he said to him, right, for these words are true and faithful.

  405. And he said to him, it is done.

  406. I am the Alpha and the Omega.

  407. I am the beginning and I am the end.

  408. And I will give of the fountain of water of life freely to him who thirsts.

  409. No more pain, no more tears, no more sorrow, all things new.

  410. And oh yeah, by the way, the fountain of the water of life.

  411. Do you know what that is?

  412. That's the fountain of youth.

  413. How many of you want the fountain of youth?

  414. Amen.

  415. Yeah, everybody over 50 is like, amen, brother.

  416. All right.

  417. We want the fountain of youth.

  418. He says you're going to get the fountain of youth.

  419. People pay millions, millions to get the fountain of youth back.

  420. People pay big money to go in and get the line stretched a little.

  421. How many of you can get it stretched?

  422. Get it stretched out flat a little bit so you look a little younger.

  423. They'll pay millions.

  424. You're going to get the fountain of youth.

  425. You'll never age in that kingdom.

  426. You'll never get sore or you'll never have pain in that kingdom.

  427. There will be no sorrow in that kingdom.

  428. And he said, and he goes on in verse seven and says a little more.

  429. He says, and he who overcomes shall inherit all things.

  430. He's having to talk with the disciples.

  431. He's telling them, look, this is the value of me being the way, the truth and the life.

  432. Right?

  433. He who comes shall inherit all things.

  434. That's a big deal when you're going into a kingdom of endless wealth.

  435. You inherit all things.

  436. How many like what you're hearing in this?

  437. How many know we have access to all this?

  438. It's speaking to us.

  439. I sounds like it sounds pretty beneficial in Jesus, doesn't it?

  440. What's it worth to his church?

  441. What's it worth to us?

  442. What is Jesus worth to us?

  443. And Jesus continues in his conversation.

  444. He doesn't end there.

  445. He keeps going.

  446. He throws something.

  447. They're trying to get their head around just where he's going.

  448. And he's unloading all this on him.

  449. And he throws something else for them to grab a hold of.

  450. He says this in verse seven, if you had known me, you would have known my father also.

  451. And from now on, you know him and have seen him.

  452. But they're still not picking up what Jesus is putting down.

  453. They really aren't.

  454. They don't get it yet because Philip chimes in and says, Philip says to him, Lord, show

  455. us the father.

  456. And it is sufficient for us.

  457. I don't know if Jesus did eye rolls or not.

  458. You know, I don't know if he did like, oh, one of those things.

  459. He just got done.

  460. Tell him, right?

  461. If you have seen me, you've seen the father.

  462. If you have experienced me, you've experienced the father.

  463. And Philip says, well, Lord, show us the father.

  464. I don't know.

  465. I don't know.

  466. Jesus probably didn't do this because Jesus always had an answer.

  467. But I'd be like, I got nothing.

  468. I don't even know where to go from here.

  469. I don't even know what to say next.

  470. Right.

  471. I don't know where to go.

  472. And Jesus goes on and he says to him, have I been with you so long and yet you have not

  473. known me, Philip?

  474. He who has seen me has seen the father.

  475. So how can you say show us the father?

  476. Do you not believe that I am the father and the father in me?

  477. The words that I speak to you, I do not speak on my own authority, but the father who dwells

  478. in me does the works.

  479. Believe me that I am the father in the father and the father in me or else believe me for

  480. the sake of the works themselves.

  481. Jesus explains he's just like the father.

  482. If you've seen Jesus, you've seen the father.

  483. And then he says something even more profound.

  484. How many of it's just layers upon layers upon layers?

  485. Jesus going back to him and say, oh, you want to see the treasure?

  486. You want to see what this is worth than me?

  487. I'm just going to unfold a little bit for you.

  488. And they're trying to get their head around and they can't even get their head around

  489. it.

  490. They're trying to just keep up with what Jesus is saying.

  491. It's well, he says, most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in me, the works that

  492. I do, he will do also.

  493. Boom.

  494. All right.

  495. And greater works than these will you do because I go to my father and whatever you ask in

  496. my name that I will do and that the father may be glorified in the son.

  497. If you ask anything in my name, I'll do it.

  498. I think the disciples were probably stunned.

  499. I think they quit talking at this point.

  500. Their minds are blown.

  501. Right.

  502. They're trying to figure out where Jesus is going and he's just giving him like this is

  503. what it's worth.

  504. This is what it's worth.

  505. This is the value.

  506. Can you see the appraisal value on this?

  507. Do you see who I am?

  508. What I'm doing for you?

  509. And then he drops the bomb on him.

  510. You'll do the same things that I've done.

  511. They saw him heal.

  512. They saw him perform miracles.

  513. They watched him command the elements outside and the elements obeyed.

  514. They watched him do this.

  515. And he said, if you are in me, if you're asking for something, then it's in the father's will

  516. and I'll be glorified for it.

  517. I'll do it.

  518. I think they started to understand just how valuable Jesus was to them in this moment.

  519. I think they started seeing his quality.

  520. I think they started understanding, you know, who he was and the benefits that were in that

  521. this is just a small portion of scripture about Christ.

  522. I think the appraisal value went from here to here to here to here.

  523. Anyone see his value this morning?

  524. Stunned getting ready to close.

  525. John 14, 15 says this, I think Jesus figured, I got their minds blown.

  526. I'm just going to go ahead and blow it the rest of the way.

  527. I'm going to pour on a little more.

  528. He says, if you love me, keep my commandments and I will pray the father and he will give

  529. you another.

  530. Zach, if you'd come that he may abide with you forever.

  531. The spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive, but it neither sees him nor knows

  532. him.

  533. But you know him for he dwells with you and he will be in you.

  534. I will not leave you orphans.

  535. I will come to you a little while longer and the world will see me no more.

  536. But you will see me because I live.

  537. You will also live at that day.

  538. You will know that I am in the father and you in me and I in you.

  539. He who has my commandments and keeps them.

  540. It is he who loves me and it is he who loves me will be loved by my father and I will love

  541. him and manifest myself to him.

  542. Jesus was saying, I'll never leave you alone.

  543. I'm leaving, but I'm going to send the Holy Spirit back.

  544. And he gave a label to the Holy Spirit when he said that he said, I'm going to send back

  545. the spirit of truth to you.

  546. I don't know if you understand or realize the infinite value of truth in your life.

  547. If you want to add another layer and you wanted your appraisal to go up, understand the value

  548. of truth in your life.

  549. Because if you know the truth, God's truth, if you know what he has spoke about you and

  550. about your future and about what he is going to do, if we understand that truth, you, it

  551. will blow your mind.

  552. It'll take you from a place of bondage to complete freedom.

  553. It'll move you into places that you never thought you would go.

  554. If you understand the truth and to understand the truth, you have to understand the power

  555. of a lie.

  556. What can a lie do?

  557. It can destroy, it can rip people apart.

  558. A lie can cause pain and death to everything that it touches.

  559. It will rot your bones.

  560. A lie will.

  561. Satan is the father of lies.

  562. The word of God tells us that.

  563. And Jesus said, I'm going to send you the spirit of truth and I'm going to give you

  564. something that the world seeks and the world can't seem to find.

  565. I'm going to give you truth.

  566. I'm going to open up.

  567. Do you know that Jesus spoke the parables and he said, I'm going to unfold the mysteries

  568. of life to you.

  569. That's the mysteries of everything that's going on around you.

  570. He said, I'm going to unfold it and you're going to know the truth.

  571. How valuable is the truth?

  572. The truth will save your life.

  573. It will change your path, your trajectory in life.

  574. It'll launch you to places that you've never been before.

  575. If you know the truth.

  576. I think the disciples sat stunned, stunned.

  577. How valuable is he?

  578. What's your appraisal of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords?

  579. Because if you understand what he's worth, you'll worship.

  580. We'll worship, won't we?

  581. I'm going to ask you to stand.

  582. Jesus said, you'll know the truth and the truth will make you free.

  583. This is a two part message.

  584. Understand what he is worth.

  585. What is he worth in your life?

  586. It is an infinite value.

  587. You cannot put a number on it.

  588. You don't have a high enough number to place on him.

  589. If you had to put a number on and we put a number on everything.

  590. I don't know if you know that or not, we do.

  591. We automatically do that.

  592. We put value on everything that we look at.

  593. And everything that we grab a hold of.

  594. But if your value is messed up about the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, you won't

  595. worship, you won't engage, you might do some religious activity.

  596. But you will not walk with the King of Kings.

  597. And I can assure you, the demand.

  598. You want your demand to go up?

  599. That's who he is.

  600. Jesus said in the New Testament, he said this.

  601. He was really kind of giving a comparison in one place in the New Testament.

  602. He said, you have to love me so much that it looks like you hate your parents.

  603. Now that's pretty strong.

  604. I'm not going to go into all that.

  605. But what he was saying, and he tells you in another place you are supposed to love your

  606. parents.

  607. He wasn't contradicting himself.

  608. What he was saying was, he said that your love for me should be up here so high that

  609. everything else just kind of fades away.

  610. It looks so small compared to what your love is for me.

  611. Right?

  612. What's your appraisal?

  613. What's your appraisal?

  614. What's your appraisal?

  615. If we are going to be a body of believers who worship God, we come in here, we sing,

  616. that's praise, right?

  617. We use our lips.

  618. If you are going to live a life of worship, live a life, I'm talking about living a life

  619. of worship.

  620. If you are going to go through your week, each week just getting up like, man, I get

  621. to do this with Jesus.

  622. I get to walk with Jesus.

  623. I know the truth of what's going on around me.

  624. You should not get worried and shudder and feel destroyed because of what's taking place

  625. around you.

  626. You should know the truth of what's happening.

  627. The Word of God declares it.

  628. What's taking place right now.

  629. Right?

  630. He didn't call us through the spirit of fear.

  631. Right?

  632. Power, love, and a sound mind.

  633. It's true.

  634. What's it worth?

  635. What's it worth?

  636. I'm going to ask you by your heads.

  637. What's it worth?

  638. How many of you want your appraisal value?

  639. How many of your appraisal value went up this morning just hearing His Word?

  640. Just hearing the Word of God.

  641. The appraisal value went up.

  642. Your faith began to rise.

  643. You began to start to see who He was.

  644. Some of you have been serving God a long time.

  645. You just got to go back like I did.

  646. You got to see the disciples walk for them for three years.

  647. They couldn't even figure it out why He was explained to them.

  648. What's He worth to you?

  649. What's He worth?

  650. Lord, we come.

  651. God, thankful, grateful.

  652. Lord, we're about ready to engage in some praise.

  653. God, we're going to lift up your name.

  654. And Lord, I pray, God, that just as we go today, just like we did last week.

  655. God, I don't do this often.

  656. But Lord, it was the same theme today.

  657. God, I pray, Lord, that our appraisal value is right.

  658. God, I pray, Lord, that we see who You are.

  659. And God, that we celebrate You.

  660. And that we know who we are in You.

  661. And God, that we move forward in this.

  662. And God, I pray that there's a world that's watching, wondering what in the world is going

  663. on with those people.

  664. God, how are they walking in confidence?

  665. How are they walking in truth?

  666. How are they walking in joy and in peace?

  667. God, how are they walking in power?

  668. And God, we're going to declare to them, we know what Jesus is worth in our life.

  669. We know who He is.

  670. We know the quality.

  671. We know the benefits.

  672. We know all things.

  673. And our love.

  674. Yeah, and He's of great demand in our lives.

  675. Lord, we thank You and we give You praise.

  676. We lift up Your name, God, right now in our hearts.

  677. God, we worship You as we pray.

  678. God, we speak the name of Jesus.

  679. Would you just say the name of Jesus?

  680. Just say it.

  681. You say it under your breath.

  682. Come on, just say it, Jesus.

  683. Amen.

  684. Recognize who He is.

  685. We love You, Lord, and we thank You in Jesus' name.

  686. In Jesus' name.

  687. Amen.

  688. Amen.

  689. One of the important things about praise is not that you just come in here and sing, but

  690. that you speak out and you believe what you're singing.

  691. Praise kind of falls to the ground.

  692. You know, and you can praise God.

  693. You don't have to sing to praise God, right?

  694. Some of you are like, I can't sing.

  695. You just speak.

  696. You just talk to Him.

  697. You can give praise to anybody, but that's worship.

  698. Putting God first.

  699. One of, this is just one way we do this.

  700. But I want you just to sing to Him.

  701. Sing it out to Him.

  702. If you really believe what I spoke this morning about what He's worth, alright?

  703. Can you sing that song?

  704. Canvas and Clay.

  705. Sing that chorus.

  706. You make all things.

  707. Yes, you make all things.

  708. We're together for my future.

  709. And for my good.

  710. You make all things.

  711. Work together for your glory.

  712. And for your name.

  713. You make all things.

  714. Yes, you do.

  715. Work together for my future.

  716. And for my good.

  717. You make all things.

  718. Work together for your glory.

  719. And for your name.

  720. And we cry holy.

  721. And we cry holy, holy, holy.

  722. Yes, we cry holy, holy, holy.

  723. We cry, we cry holy, holy, holy.

  724. Holy is the Lamb.

  725. We cry holy, oh.

  726. And we cry holy, holy, holy.

  727. Yes, we cry holy, holy, holy.

  728. Yes, we cry holy, holy, holy.

  729. Holy is the Lamb.

  730. The Spirit of God spoke something to me before I ever got up here while worship was taking place.

  731. And he spoke this into my spirit, and I believe this is for multiple people here, and you need to listen to what I'm saying.

  732. Some of you need prayer this morning.

  733. And I'm not just talking about a general prayer, I'm talking about individual prayer.

  734. I'm going to ask if the prayer team would make their way to the back.

  735. I'm going to be back here in a few minutes.

  736. But you need individual prayer for something.

  737. And if that's you, you're getting tugged right now.

  738. The Holy Spirit's prompting you.

  739. It could be anything at all.

  740. Sometimes we need to come together, and we need to...

  741. When God talks about two or three gathering in His name, He's there.

  742. And there's way more than that here.

  743. But sometimes we need to come, and we need to pray about something specific, so God brings a specific answer.

  744. We call upon Him, right?

  745. If we really believe what I just preached, we call on the one who can change things.

  746. We call on the one who can shift things.

  747. The one who can heal things.

  748. And if that's you here this morning, I'm going to ask you to do something different.

  749. I'm going to ask you to step out and go back to the prayer team.

  750. I'm going to make my way back there.

  751. When Rick's coming, he's going to give an opportunity for anybody that maybe doesn't know Jesus this morning.

  752. He's going to pray with them.

  753. But if that's you, do not wait.

  754. God has something for you.

  755. He called it out specifically this morning.

  756. Don't wait.

  757. Don't waste time.

  758. Just make your way to the back right now.

  759. If you need prayer, if the Holy Spirit's tugging on you, all right?

  760. That's that little nudge, by the way.

  761. If you don't know what a tug, Holy Spirit tug or nudge is, it's that little thing He does to you.

  762. And you know it's you, right?

  763. You know that you need prayer.

  764. Buy something.

  765. Make your way to the back, all right?

  766. Sure.

  767. Thank you.
