  1. Thank you for listening to this message from Life House Church.

  2. Good morning, Life House.

  3. Good morning.

  4. Turn to someone give them a high five.

  5. Tell them it's good to be in God's house this morning.

  6. Amen.

  7. Amen.

  8. Listen, that was great worship.

  9. You were worshiping the Lord.

  10. We felt God's presence.

  11. So if the preaching stinks, you can say it was good being God's house this morning.

  12. Right.

  13. Yeah, we've just we've just seen that rise in the last several weeks here at the church,

  14. man.

  15. We just feel God's presence just flood the place when worship is taking place.

  16. And that's because you're coming in with expectation, right?

  17. You come in ready to worship the king.

  18. And that's God inhabits all that.

  19. So just thank you for coming with hearts and minds ready to go, ready to worship the Lord

  20. this morning.

  21. And I also want to say good morning to each shore.

  22. And if you're listening to us online this morning and I just want to encourage you,

  23. if you've not been water baptized, if that's not something you've engaged in and you've

  24. come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life, it is the next step.

  25. It's what you should do.

  26. And we'd love to talk to you about that.

  27. Or even I get asked this all the time.

  28. Maybe you walked away from God for a period of time and you feel like you need to get

  29. baptized again.

  30. We're all about that.

  31. Maybe you were baptized as a child and didn't really know what you were doing.

  32. And you want it.

  33. You want to do it with the full knowledge of what it's all about.

  34. We want to talk to you.

  35. We want to want you to get involved and we want you to be baptized because Jesus said

  36. to do this right.

  37. He showed us.

  38. He set the example in God's word.

  39. And it's super important and we love it.

  40. It's a celebration.

  41. So just be encouraged.

  42. We want you to do that this morning.

  43. I was going to read even a verse out of Acts chapter two said.

  44. And Peter said to them, repent and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus

  45. Christ for the remission of your sin.

  46. And you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

  47. You can see it in that one verse.

  48. Right.

  49. Repentance, water baptism and the Holy Spirit.

  50. All of it.

  51. So it's the next step.

  52. If you haven't been baptized, get involved, find out about it.

  53. If you want more information, we want to get in touch with you.

  54. Get registered online.

  55. Amen.

  56. I'm Rob.

  57. Done with my commercial.

  58. I promise.

  59. All right.

  60. I love baptism.

  61. All right.

  62. So most of the messages that you've heard over the last month, month and a half have

  63. been geared around the kingdom of God.

  64. And you might say, well, isn't every message kind of about the kingdom of God?

  65. Right.

  66. Isn't that kind of a generic thing?

  67. Well, these messages have been specific.

  68. They've been about how it works in the kingdom or how it doesn't work in the kingdom of God.

  69. And we understand that we need to know that because the kingdom we live in currently is

  70. not fully the kingdom of God.

  71. Right.

  72. You know, sir, not but you live in a physical kingdom.

  73. Right.

  74. You live on planet Earth.

  75. Tell somebody right now I live on planet Earth.

  76. Come on.

  77. Tell them right now.

  78. Inform.

  79. All right.

  80. You live on planet.

  81. How many don't live on planet Earth?

  82. That's what I want to know.

  83. Here's why we got one.

  84. OK, we got an alien among us.

  85. All right.

  86. We live on planet Earth.

  87. We're in this physical kingdom and there's the kingdom of God, which if you're saved,

  88. the kingdom of God is in you.

  89. But we're not fully there yet.

  90. We're not in God's presence yet.

  91. And sometimes it's a little hard to navigate between two kingdoms.

  92. It's a little hard to think about.

  93. I remember when years ago, two decades ago now, the first time I went to Mexico City,

  94. Mexico, I remember flying in.

  95. Right.

  96. And I'm just soaking it all in.

  97. I'm looking out the plane.

  98. I want to see, you know, the landscape.

  99. What's different?

  100. Because I had not I'm not real well traveled.

  101. And it was one of my first times going out of the country.

  102. And I remember flying into Mexico City, Mexico.

  103. And I'm thinking this is going to be great.

  104. It's going to be awesome.

  105. So we got off the plane and we went across in this hallway heading towards customs.

  106. And I realized really quickly that I was in a different kingdom because, you know, in

  107. the United States, you just go to baggage, you go to customs, whatever.

  108. Well, when I got off, there was a guy that was in riot gear and he had what looked like

  109. an AK 47.

  110. And he just stared me down the hallway.

  111. And I'm like, I am not in Kansas anymore.

  112. All right.

  113. I am in a different kingdom.

  114. And I remember that clearly.

  115. Now, it's not like that.

  116. Now, when you go, I've been there since.

  117. But I remember that.

  118. And it's a different world.

  119. Right.

  120. When you when you go there, it seems like you're in a different kingdom.

  121. It's a different language.

  122. A lot of times there's different customs.

  123. A lot of times there's different laws that apply a lot of different times.

  124. And there's a learning curve when you go into a different country, you should investigate

  125. before you go.

  126. And then you learn as you're there that things aren't the same.

  127. Well, if you're saved and you know, Jesus is Lord and Savior.

  128. You belong to two kingdoms.

  129. You've got dual citizenship.

  130. All right.

  131. You are in this physical kingdom, but you're also in the kingdom of God.

  132. And I'm a citizen here.

  133. And I understand a little bit how it runs here.

  134. Right.

  135. Here on planet Earth and all the crazy struggles and challenges that go along with that.

  136. But because I'm in Jesus, I'm currently right.

  137. A spiritual citizen of the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven.

  138. And it's a kind of something with the kingdom without end.

  139. Right.

  140. A kingdom whose builder and maker is God.

  141. And I've not fully experienced that kingdom yet.

  142. I am in a spiritual sense.

  143. But one day I'm going to be there with God himself.

  144. Right.

  145. And I can tell you that everything I've experienced in the kingdom of God to date is seriously

  146. better than the physical kingdom that I live in on planet Earth here.

  147. Right.

  148. There are gifts in the kingdom.

  149. There are God moves in the kingdom.

  150. There is life in the kingdom.

  151. Everything on this earth that you experience is either in a state of decay or is heading

  152. towards death.

  153. I don't know if you know that or not.

  154. I know that's not such good news.

  155. Right.

  156. But it's true.

  157. So the journey through the last few weeks over the last month and a half has been discovering

  158. more about how it works in the kingdom of God versus the kingdom of man.

  159. Right.

  160. And we've learned some things along the way.

  161. We learned that miracles happen in the kingdom of God when we take what's in our hand.

  162. We place it into God's hand.

  163. He blesses it.

  164. He breaks it.

  165. Right.

  166. And then he multiplies it, which blows our minds.

  167. We we get all excited because that's a miracle.

  168. And God's like, well, that always happens with anything.

  169. It's in my hands.

  170. Anything that goes in his hands.

  171. We learned that we learned that that unbelief can keep you from God's preferred future for

  172. you.

  173. We learned that as you come into the kingdom of God, you got to approach the kingdom of

  174. God just like a child.

  175. Right.

  176. All in arms open.

  177. We learned that bad and good both come into the kingdom of God.

  178. A matter of fact, it's not about whether you're bad or whether you're good.

  179. It's about the proposal that God makes.

  180. And today we're going to learn one more thing about the kingdom of God.

  181. So if you got your Bible, I want you to turn to Hebrews chapter 11.

    Hebrews 11 chapter mention

  182. We're going to start off verse one.

  183. Hebrews chapter 11 verse one is your turn.

    Hebrews 11 chapter mention

  184. I'm going to pray this morning over the reading of God's word.

  185. Lord, we're grateful for this day.

  186. I thank you, Lord, for all God that you speak into our lives.

  187. We thank you for your presence, God, that we felt so strongly this morning.

  188. God, we ask, Lord, that this word would penetrate our hearts and our minds and God, it would

  189. guide us and direct us to grow closer to you and Lord, to learn more about the kingdom

  190. of God.

  191. In Jesus name.

  192. Amen.

  193. Amen.

  194. All right.

  195. Hebrews 11 says this, now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things

  196. not seen for by it, the elders obtained a good testimony.

  197. How did the elders get a good testimony by what?

  198. Faith, right?

  199. Verse three says by faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God

  200. so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

  201. These first two verses give us critical information of how faith in God and in the kingdom of

  202. God works, right?

  203. Faith in God in the kingdom of God is a result of what I understand about God.

  204. If I understand the right things about God, if I understand the truth about God, if I

  205. really start to grasp and get my head around who God is and the things of God in this at

  206. tributes, my faith in God rises.

  207. My faith in God will actually be full.

  208. It will be complete.

  209. And this is important because a lot of people think that faith in God is a crazy thing.

  210. If you go talk to people in the world and somebody that doesn't know Jesus, they kind

  211. of look at Christians as fools.

  212. They'll say you're foolish.

  213. They'll say you just got this blind belief system and a supernatural thing that's out

  214. there somewhere in the cosmos, right?

  215. Some people think that for Christians it's just a mental escape mechanism for life, right?

  216. They believe it's a fairy tale and we tell ourselves the fairy tale just to soothe our

  217. troubled souls.

  218. That's how some people look at Christians in the world.

  219. That somehow Christians are just people who are looking for something to believe in, right?

  220. Something that's going to give us abundant life that's out there somewhere that sounds

  221. like a good idea.

  222. So we talk about it.

  223. We preach about it.

  224. We sing about it, right?

  225. My faith in God is somehow this happy pie in the sky idea that I'm hoping for abundant

  226. life in.

  227. That it's right.

  228. That it's not well placed, right?

  229. It's I wish I may.

  230. I wish I might.

  231. Is that the right phrase?

  232. Isn't that right?

  233. It's not a well placed notion.

  234. It's in some random force, some light, some life, some orb, some energy that's out there,

  235. right?

  236. May the force be with you, right?

  237. That kind of thing.

  238. That's what they believe.

  239. It's a blind hope.

  240. Faith is not, my faith in God is not based on some fantasy.

  241. It's not based on some random idea, right?

  242. My faith in God is based on who I know and what I know about God.

  243. It's based on, if you get to a place where you start to understand that the things that

  244. are visible were made by a God who we cannot see at the moment, but when you start to understand

  245. who He is, your faith begins to rise.

  246. The last thing that it is based on is fantasy.

  247. The last thing it's based on is just some random idea or something that I do just to

  248. soothe myself.

  249. Because you've got to understand some things about God.

  250. God is infinite.

  251. Say infinite.

  252. He is self-existing.

  253. He is without origin.

  254. He's without a beginning.

  255. He's without an end, right?

  256. I almost said orange there.

  257. He's without an origin.

  258. He doesn't have a beginning and He doesn't have an end.

  259. He always was.

  260. He always is and He always will be.

  261. We can't name one thing.

  262. You couldn't come up with one thing you could name on this earth that always was, always

  263. is and always will be, right?

  264. Anything here in the house, anything of the shore, anything you come up with online, all

  265. you do has a beginning and an end, right?

  266. How many in the house have a birthday?

  267. Raise your hand.

  268. I've got people who are not raising their hands.

  269. You have a birthday.

  270. You've got a point of origin.

  271. You were born and you was, you is right now.

  272. That's why you're here.

  273. You is.

  274. Some day you will be but some day you won't be.

  275. Amen?

  276. It's true.

  277. You've got a point of origin.

  278. You've got a beginning and you've got an end.

  279. We don't want to talk about the end stuff, right?

  280. That end date will come and you know that for real, right?

  281. I could ask you another question.

  282. How many people in the house here are over 150 years of age?

  283. Raise your hand right now.

  284. Oh, right, right.

  285. There's living proof, right?

  286. There's an end.

  287. There's a beginning and end.

  288. We're finite in everything.

  289. It's not God.

  290. God is infinite.

  291. He always was.

  292. He always is.

  293. He always will be.

  294. Always.

  295. He's always done things more abundantly because he's always been around.

  296. He can do more by himself in a moment than we can do individually or collectively as

  297. humanity in a lifetime.

  298. He can do in one minute.

  299. He is.

  300. He's infinite in everything that he does.

  301. He's more powerful than anything that you know or anyone that you know.

  302. It is not blind faith.

  303. It's understanding who he is, right?

  304. It's understanding what he can do.

  305. I never cease to be amazed by God's infinite power.

  306. I really don't.

  307. You know, I think sometimes, especially the older I get, you know, it gets to be a little

  308. more of a task to do things in life sometimes, right?

  309. You just trying to get to bed, get a nap for eight hours, right?

  310. I call it the nap you take every day.

  311. You got to get that go to bed and you try to get up in the morning, get yourself moving,

  312. right?

  313. Look in the mirror, brush your teeth, right?

  314. And go out there and try to get a cup of coffee just to get you rolling in the morning.

  315. Well, while you were doing all that, God brings the sun up in the sky and you look out the

  316. window and He paints a picture every single morning with the sunrise, right?

  317. If it's the winter time, I've come out and He's painted the entire landscape with snow

  318. and artists take years studying just to try to duplicate on a piece of canvas, right?

  319. Remember a photographer tries to duplicate what God does just automatically.

  320. He's infinite.

  321. What you're just trying to get rolling, He's changed the whole world in a moment, man.

  322. He's infinite.

  323. He's also immutable.

  324. Say immutable.

  325. Some of you said that, you don't even know what it means.

  326. He's immutable.

  327. He never changes.

  328. He doesn't have to.

  329. He was sheer perfection at the beginning.

  330. He still is and He always will be.

  331. I mean, no, you don't need to change if you're sheer perfection.

  332. Some of you are like, yep, that's right.

  333. You don't need to change.

  334. You're not.

  335. But you don't need to change if you're sheer perfection.

  336. We change, right?

  337. We need to change.

  338. Amen?

  339. Most everything about me falls short of perfect and needs to change.

  340. Honey, thank you for knowing I'm saying amen.

  341. I was waiting for you to say amen, right?

  342. And the fact is you're changing for the better at any given moment or you're changing for

  343. the worse, right?

  344. You're changing all the time because you need to because you're not in a state of perfection,

  345. right?

  346. You're not immutable like God is.

  347. If you don't believe that, you're over the age of 40, get a photo album out.

  348. Check yourself out at age 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, right?

  349. The older you get, you get over 40, you look at those pictures like, I look like that?

  350. All right?

  351. Man, some things have changed.

  352. Listen, one of the reasons I have faith in God is because he does not change.

  353. He's not shifting.

  354. I'm not sure about you, right?

  355. You could change tomorrow about something.

  356. You probably aren't too sure about me because you know I could change something tomorrow,

  357. right?

  358. But he never changes.

  359. He's immutable.

  360. Malachi 3, 6 says this, for I am the Lord, I change not.

  361. Hebrews 13, 7 says, remember them which have the rule over you who have spoken unto you

  362. the word of God whose faith follow considering the end of their conversation, Jesus Christ

  363. the same yesterday, today, and say it with me, forever.

  364. Forever.

  365. He's immutable.

  366. He does not change.

  367. You can take it to the bank, you can count on it every single day.

  368. He will not change even if you want him to change.

  369. Do you ever pray for God to change or change his mind?

  370. He's not going to do it.

  371. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever.

  372. He's infinite and he's immutable.

  373. And I'm going to give you just a couple things rapid fire because if I preached on all the

  374. things that God is and his attributes, we'd be here until well into the afternoon, right?

  375. But here's some things about God that you need to understand.

  376. And if you understand, you'll get your head around who he is.

  377. I can tell you right now that your faith will begin to rise.

  378. As a matter of fact, it will just explode, right?

  379. Because God is self-sufficient.

  380. He doesn't need anyone.

  381. He doesn't need anything on the outside.

  382. He's self-sustaining in every single way, right?

  383. He's omnipotent.

  384. He has all power.

  385. He has no power shortage in any area of his life.

  386. He is omniscient.

  387. He is all-knowing.

  388. How many know he never gets stumped with a trivia question?

  389. God's never like, hmm, wonder what the answer to that is, right?

  390. He's omnipresent.

  391. He is always everywhere.

  392. Get your head around that, right?

  393. He's always everywhere.

  394. He has perfect wisdom.

  395. He is always faithful even when we are not.

  396. He is good.

  397. All things good.

  398. He is just.

  399. He always has the right answer.

  400. He is merciful, gracious, loving, holy, glorious, and for the icing on the cake, he cannot fail.

  401. It's impossible for God to fail.

  402. He has all these things excessively and always, forever.

  403. Now let me ask you something.

  404. How hard is it to have faith in someone like that?

  405. Come on.

  406. He's got it all.

  407. And if you begin to understand who God really is, right?

  408. It's pretty hard not to have complete faith in him.

  409. If you start to get your head around, I don't know if you know this, but you can know this

  410. and experience this in God, that he has all these things, right?

  411. Not everyone else does.

  412. Nobody else in your life does.

  413. Anybody around you, if you're going to have faith in someone, have faith in God.

  414. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

  415. Do you know why that happens?

  416. Because the word of God is all about who God is.

  417. When you start understanding who he is, your faith will explode.

  418. It's not a stretch.

  419. It's not a fantasy.

  420. It's not a hopeful wish on my side.

  421. It's based on the knowledge of I know who God is, right?

  422. He is God.

  423. Have knowledge.

  424. Experience Him.

  425. If you're going to talk to somebody and you want them to become a person of faith, just

  426. start telling them about who God is.

  427. Just start testifying about what he can do.

  428. That's why we testify, right?

  429. We tell people what God can do and what he has done.

  430. It's because it's true and it's who he is.

  431. Let me read some more.

  432. Hebrews 11 says this, by faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain,

  433. through which he obtained witness and that he was righteous.

  434. God testifying of his gifts and through it being dead still speaks.

  435. By faith Enoch, say Enoch.

  436. Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death and was not found because God had taken

  437. him.

  438. For before he was taken, he had this testimony that he pleased God.

  439. But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he who comes to God must believe

  440. that he is and that he is a reward of those who diligently seek him.

  441. Now I really like Enoch because Enoch had so much faith in God, God just snatched him

  442. off this earth.

  443. God skipped the whole funeral thing.

  444. He didn't go into the whole drama of drawing his last breath.

  445. He didn't do anything.

  446. He's like, you know what?

  447. Enoch, you got so much faith, I'm just going to take you.

  448. I'm just going to move you over into the kingdom of God.

  449. One of the things we learn from Enoch when you read from this scripture is that the only

  450. way to please God is by faith in God.

  451. The only way you can please God is by faith in God.

  452. It's the only way you can please him.

  453. The only thing that brings God pleasure that you can provide is absolute complete faith

  454. in him.

  455. God is not like people.

  456. People get pleased in all kinds of ways.

  457. If I announced that next week if we put this out publicly and I put it on Facebook and

  458. we put it in the newspaper, nobody reads the newspaper anymore, but if I put it in the

  459. newspaper, if I put it online, if we send it out as a flyer somewhere around the neighborhood,

  460. if we said you know what, next week you come into the life house, you get a gift, we're

  461. going to have a crisp $100 bill for everybody in the house.

  462. How many know we need some chairs next week?

  463. Because gifts please people.

  464. How many like to get a gift?

  465. Amen.

  466. It pleases people.

  467. Acknowledgement, somebody's contribution, that pleases people.

  468. Serving people sometimes pleases people.

  469. Being served sometimes pleases people.

  470. How many like to be served?

  471. Come on that we won't submit it.

  472. I know you all love to serve everybody else and nobody else likes to be served.

  473. But it pleases people.

  474. Time you spend, time spent with somebody, sometimes that's pleasing.

  475. Words of affirmation are pleasing to you.

  476. There's all kind of ways to please people.

  477. But there's only one way to please God.

  478. God has it all.

  479. He doesn't need words of affirmation for you.

  480. He's self-sustaining, remember?

  481. He doesn't need that kind of boost.

  482. He one thing pleases God.

  483. One thing only, faith in Him.

  484. You want God to take notice of you?

  485. Just display faith in Him.

  486. Speak faith in Him.

  487. Live faith in Him.

  488. Act as if you've got faith in Him.

  489. It pleases God.

  490. It's the only thing that pleases Him.

  491. How do you get the guy that has everything something, right?

  492. Let's go and please Him.

  493. You have faith in Him.

  494. You have faith in Him.

  495. You have faith in Him.

  496. Our work, listen, our work, our tenacity, our heart to serve, all those things should

  497. be an outflow.

  498. They should be a result of our faith in God.

  499. We don't do those things to please God, right?

  500. I can't work my way, because you got to be careful with all that, because you can try

  501. to serve your way into heaven, you know that?

  502. You can try to serve your way into God's good graces.

  503. You can try to even pray your way into God's good graces.

  504. And God says without faith, right, the word of God says it clearly, without faith it's

  505. impossible to please God.

  506. Faith has to come first.

  507. Faith's got to be at the forefront.

  508. I have faith in God, and because I've got faith in God, then I serve, right?

  509. Then I give.

  510. Then I do all the things that God wants me to do, but it all begins with faith.

  511. It all begins with faith, because that's what pleases God.

  512. It's true.

  513. I'm going to close this morning by reading just a few more verses from those who had

  514. faith.

  515. And if you want to, you can go to Hebrews chapter 11, and it just names person after

    Hebrews 11 chapter mention

  516. person after person, and they're all people of faith.

  517. And you'll see God do these great amazing things in our lives, and it's an outflow,

  518. it's a result of their faith in God, right?

  519. Hebrews 11, 7 says, by faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with

  520. godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the

  521. world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

  522. The boat, right?

  523. The ship, the ark was a result of Noah's faith in God.

  524. It was a result.

  525. Verse 8 says, by faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which

  526. would receive his inheritance, and he went out not knowing where he was going.

  527. By faith he dwelt in the land of promises in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with

  528. Isaac and Jacob, and heirs with him of the same promise.

  529. For he waited for the city which has foundations whose builder and maker is what?

  530. God.

  531. He headed out not knowing where he was going or why he was going there necessarily.

  532. He just knew God had a promise, and he had faith in God.

  533. This chapter goes on and on and on.

  534. I'm going to ask if you'd stand this morning.

  535. I'll ask if you'd come.

  536. This morning is all about faith in God.

  537. And if your faith ever starts to get a little low, I kind of think faith is there or it

  538. isn't.

  539. So I'm just going to say it this way.

  540. If your faith isn't there, right?

  541. If it dissipates, because how many of you know if you don't have faith you got doubt?

  542. Right?

  543. One or the other.

  544. You either got faith or doubt.

  545. It's kind of light and dark, that kind of thing.

  546. But if your faith is gone and you're in the valley of doubt, if you're in a place where

  547. you're just not believing God, all you have to do is begin to remind yourself who he is.

  548. All you got to do is go back and understand what he can do and the power that he has.

  549. You start to do those kind of things and all of a sudden faith appears.

  550. All of a sudden you have faith in God.

  551. The word of God says, Jesus said this right, as soon as faith appears you can move them

  552. out.

  553. You can do things, you can start believing things and God starts doing things because

  554. the only thing that pleases God is what?

  555. Faith.

  556. It's the only thing that pleases God.

  557. I remember Pastor Jack Kyler, he's gone on to be with the Lord.

  558. I remember him when I was young in ministry.

  559. He used to come up to me and he'd tell me, Kip, everything's about faith in God.

  560. I'd be like, okay Pastor Kyler.

  561. I think there's a lot of other stuff in the Bible, Pastor Kyler.

  562. He goes, no, it's all about faith.

  563. He said it's all about faith and I'm like, okay Pastor Kyler, but there's a...

  564. He goes, no.

  565. You don't understand.

  566. It's all about faith.

  567. He was right.

  568. It's the only way to please God.

  569. It starts and begins there.

  570. Do you know the...

  571. I'm going to set some of you free right now.

  572. Do you know the only one you got to please in life is God?

  573. It's God.

  574. So many times we're trying to please everybody else and everything else and the only one

  575. you have to please is God.

  576. If you please God, He will give you favor with others.

  577. I don't know if you know that or not.

  578. We get it all mixed up.

  579. We get it all backwards.

  580. You got to please Him.

  581. You ready to pray this morning?

  582. Now I love this because I'm preaching to a house full of people of faith.

  583. I know that.

  584. But I'm going to ask you to do this.

  585. I'm going to ask you to bow your heads.

  586. I want to take a moment just in case there's someone in the house who has never heard about

  587. all the attributes of God.

  588. They did not know that He has all power.

  589. They did not realize that He knows all things.

  590. And I didn't even catch some of the attributes like the whole idea that God has love.

  591. And He not just has love, He is love, the word of God says.

  592. And that He loves you with everlasting love.

  593. That one of the things that He did to provide with you is that He sent His only Son to die

  594. on a cross so you could be free and so you could come into relationship with a holy God

  595. who has all these characteristics and wants to walk with you.

  596. And if that's you here this morning and you want to know Jesus is Lord and Savior, you

  597. can.

  598. The word of God says all you have to do is believe.

  599. That's have faith in Him.

  600. And He comes to be Lord and Savior in your life.

  601. So with every head bowed and every eye closed, if that's you here this morning, I want you

  602. to put your hand up, put it right back down.

  603. If you want to, if you're saying today, I want the Lord in my life.

  604. I want, I want, I want to serve this God.

  605. I want to follow this God.

  606. I want to be part, put your hand up right now.

  607. If you're online, you can type it in the chat this morning and they'll, the host will respond

  608. to you and talk with you about that.

  609. Thank you.

  610. Now I'm asked to look back up at me.

  611. I'm asked to do one last thing.

  612. We are a people of faith.

  613. If you know Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life, we are people of faith.

  614. It's the only thing that pleases God.

  615. I want us to come together.

  616. We're going to, we're going to end this by praying and singing together this morning.

  617. So if you'd come forward, come up as far as you can to the front.

  618. I didn't preach real long.

  619. We got a few minutes.

  620. Make your way up.

  621. Some of you aren't afraid of me.

  622. Just come up close.

  623. Pull up as tight as you can.

  624. Some people slide in the back.

  625. And I feel really pushed in my spirit that somebody does need set free from people pleasing.

  626. Okay.

  627. You know, there is such freedom in knowing that the only one that you have to please

  628. is God.

  629. People that get caught in people pleasing, you'll get pulled 45 directions.

  630. You'll wear yourself out.

  631. Right.

  632. And you most of the time, you never please anybody or you only please a few people.

  633. And you'll start that.

  634. And then they get unpleased about something and you're starting to cycle all back over

  635. again.

  636. You're not there to cause them pleasure.

  637. Their pleasure should be in the Lord just like yours.

  638. Right.

  639. So you start off pleasing God and it's crazy thing happens.

  640. People, God will give you favor with other people.

  641. That's just how it works.

  642. You only got to focus on one thing.

  643. Pleasing Him.

  644. That's it.

  645. That's it.

  646. Right.

  647. So all you got to do is have faith in Him.

  648. It pleases God and then God lavishes upon you.

  649. It's just crazy cycle.

  650. It's simple.

  651. We always over complicate God's word and it's so simple.

  652. He made it so simple for us.

  653. Amen.

  654. So if you're here this morning and you know who you are, if you tend to people please.

  655. Right.

  656. You're not going to gain the favor of man.

  657. Right.

  658. If that's you, I'm here to tell you today, you've only got one to please and that is

  659. the Lord Jesus Christ.

  660. Just have faith in Him.

  661. It's all it takes.

  662. Father, we come to you today.

  663. God, you know each person in the house.

  664. God, Lord, you know who needs to be free this morning from people pleasing.

  665. Lord, there's not an individual on the face of this planet that can save us.

  666. There's not an individual who can speak to us.

  667. There's not an individual who can carry us.

  668. There's not an individual, God, who can save us from anything.

  669. Lord, it is only you and God, we only need to please you.

  670. So Lord, this morning we declare in our prayer and if you're here this morning, pray this.

  671. We declare in our prayer that we have faith in you, Lord, whatever's in front of us, whatever's

  672. behind us, whatever's beside us, whatever's below us and above us.

  673. God, we declare right now in prayer with our own lips.

  674. God, we declare to you, we've got faith in you.

  675. Just say it, church, say it to them.

  676. We've got faith in you.

  677. We've got faith in you, Lord.

  678. God, we're trusting you, Lord.

  679. God, we're gonna quit trying to figure this out on our own.

  680. We're gonna quit worrying about pleasing other people and Lord, we're just gonna listen and

  681. look for you.

  682. God, in Jesus' name, God, I pray for each person in the house.

  683. God, to a place of freedom.

  684. God, we get balled up, we get messed up, Lord, by the world and God, all the problems that

  685. come in when the reality is we just need to please you.

  686. We just need to please you.

  687. God, you can take care of all the rest.

  688. Can you do take care of all the rest?

  689. And Lord, we just thank you, we give you praise.

  690. In Jesus' name, in Jesus' name, Amen.

  691. Listen, I've watched dear saints of God who have faith in God and it's funny, they'll

  692. get into the deepest mess all going on all around them.

  693. I don't know if you've ever met someone like this but they're in complete peace.

  694. There's this deep strength that's within them and it's because they don't try to please

  695. people.

  696. They're just trusting in God.

  697. They'll just say, listen, God's got it, right?

  698. People get all messed up, they're like, you don't understand everything that's going on.

  699. You don't know what's happening, right?

  700. The sky is falling all around us.

  701. And they're just like, yeah, it's okay, God's got it, right?

  702. It's His guy, right?

  703. He's got all power.

  704. And there's this peace that settles upon them.

  705. That's us.

  706. It's the people of God.

  707. I get caught in this just like anybody does.

  708. I get looking at the stuff, I get looking at the circumstances, I get looking at the

  709. troubles.

  710. I'm just here to please Him.

  711. Amen.

  712. One job.

  713. You got one job.

  714. Say it, I got one job.

  715. I got one job, right?

  716. You got to please Him.

  717. Amen.

  718. Turn to somebody and tell them you got one job.

  719. One job, one job.

  720. God bless you.

  721. We will see you here next week.

  722. Memorial Day weekend.

  723. Good job.
