  1. Thank you for listening to this message from

  2. Lifehouse Church. assemble on Wednesday nights.

  3. Our kids are here for kids club, you know, finding

  4. a home for them. So important where they can

  5. fellowship one with another and learn God's word.

  6. Also want to give honor to Dr. Bell. Good to

  7. see you in the house of the Lord. God bless you.

  8. And first lady, God bless you. Good to see you

  9. all today. I want to bring you honor and greetings

  10. also from our state office with Bishop Hughes

  11. and Sister Abigail Hughes. They send their love

  12. and their prayers. We've just gotten out of camp

  13. meeting and some of you were there and what a

  14. time we had this week. It was so powerful and

  15. we thank God for what he's doing in this great

  16. state. Amen. Also want to give honor to my lovely

  17. wife who was here this morning. My bride of 19

  18. years. And to God be the glory. God is so good.

  19. God has blessed us with two amazing children.

  20. Declan and Gianna. And Declan has allowed me

  21. to be a dad first, you know, after 12 years of

  22. waiting. And then came Gianna. And I'm telling

  23. you, many of you have heard perhaps bits and

  24. pieces of her testimony before. But in your waiting

  25. season, don't you give up on God. Because he

  26. won't give up on you. And his promises are yes

  27. and amen. Amen, somebody. And so I thank God

  28. for all that he's doing. I also want to recognize

  29. the students who are in the house this morning,

  30. all of our students. Will you put your hands

  31. together for the students in the house? Come

  32. on. I firmly believe that the last day revival

  33. is going to occur because of our young people

  34. who are pushing towards God, seeking the face

  35. of God. And guess what? The enemy is defeated.

  36. Our young people are marching forward to know

  37. who God is. And as long as we continue to stand

  38. with them, we know that they are overcomers and

  39. they are victorious in Jesus' name. If you believe

  40. it, say amen. In just about two weeks, or less

  41. than two weeks, we'll be gathered together with

  42. our students at Bongiorno Campground for Youth

  43. Camp. And already so many have signed up to be

  44. a part of what God is doing. Already we have,

  45. together with leaders and students, over 400

  46. people will be gathered together. And I just

  47. believe in God to do a mighty work in our lives.

  48. And I thank you so much for partnering with us

  49. or praying with us and for being a tremendous

  50. supporter of the state activities, YWA, our international

  51. activity. Thank you. You have been one of our

  52. strongest supporters here in this. local assembly

  53. and i want to say thank you so much for your

  54. continual support for being the hands and feet

  55. of jesus would you give yourselves one more round

  56. of applause again i honor pastor kip god bless

  57. you sir and dixie god bless you thank you so

  58. much i want to i read this morning from ezekiel

    Ezekiel 22 chapter mention

  59. chapter 22 ezekiel 22 that's where i'll be going

  60. this morning on this father's day And although

  61. this message may, you know, it's Father's Day,

  62. but I believe that this message is going to be

  63. for everyone. Everyone today. Ezekiel chapter

    Ezekiel 22 chapter mention

  64. 22 and verse 30. Would you stand one more time

  65. for the reading? Thank you. Verse 30. So I sought

  66. for a man among them who would make a wall. and

  67. stand in the gap before me on behalf of the land,

  68. that I should not destroy it, but I found no

  69. one. Father, thank you for your word this morning.

  70. Thank you, Lord, for your people. I pray, Lord,

  71. that you will anoint us afresh to hear from you

  72. and to use us for the furtherance of your kingdom.

  73. Father, I thank you that you are our perfect

  74. father. You are our present Father. And God,

  75. you are actively at work on our behalf. We give

  76. ourselves to you this morning in Jesus' name.

  77. Amen. You may be seated. I want to speak to us

  78. this morning for a few minutes on this thought.

  79. Stand tall so they don't fall. Stand tall so...

  80. They don't fall. You know, the world that we're

  81. currently in, you can see all around you, it

  82. seems like the world is on fire. Seems like there's

  83. a lot of crisis going on. Chaos. Confusion. It

  84. seems as if the walls of this world, the safeguards

  85. are falling apart. Compromised. And at risk of

  86. collapsing. There is a need in our homes and

  87. in our communities. And in this nation for the

  88. people of God to stand tall. So that the next

  89. generation will not fall. There is a need for

  90. that. There is a breach that is occurring. A

  91. breach in the various walls of protection. There

  92. is a weakness that is happening that can lead

  93. to great damage, compromise that will lead to

  94. weakness within the walls of integrity, walls

  95. of honesty. Many of us have heard of, you know,

  96. the breach of like a dam. or the breach of a

  97. contract, or the breach of security. But in our

  98. text today, the prophet was writing and speaking

  99. metaphorically about a gap in the wall, or a

  100. breach in the wall which is not physical, but

  101. a metaphor to the spiritual condition of Israel.

  102. They had compromised themselves. Through spiritual

  103. and moral failures. They had failed to uphold

  104. God's standards. Thus, they hope in themselves

  105. to God's judgment and punishment. And this is

  106. a reminder, brothers and sisters, today that

  107. there is no doubt that there is still a consequence

  108. for sins. In Romans chapter 6 and verse 23. The

    Romans 6 chapter mention

  109. Bible tells us that the wages of sin is still

  110. death, but the gift of God is eternal life. And

  111. I thank God this morning that he does not want

  112. us to stay in sin, but he has made a way for

  113. us through Jesus. In the New Living Translation

  114. in Ezekiel chapter 22 and verse 30, it says,

    Ezekiel 22 chapter mention

  115. I look for someone. who might rebuild the wall

  116. of righteousness that guards the land. It says,

  117. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in

  118. the wall so that I would not have to destroy

  119. it, but I found no one. God himself is searching.

  120. He's the one who's doing the searching. He's

  121. still searching for us. He's still searching

  122. for men and women in our nation to continue to

  123. stand for him. He's still searching for us to

  124. represent him. Verse 6 tells us in this text,

  125. in Ezekiel chapter 22, by their own choosing,

    Ezekiel 22 chapter mention

  126. they walk towards their own ways. By their own

  127. willfulness, they walk away from the truth. By

  128. their own wickedness, They walked away from the

  129. things of God. And a breach has occurred where

  130. there's an edge and now there's a gap where the

  131. enemy believes that he can have a stronghold.

  132. How did they get there? In our text, the sin

  133. of the people had gotten so bad that God began

  134. to seek for a person. A man, a woman, a youth

  135. who would intercede, who would stand in the gap.

  136. But the scripture tells us that tragically, at

  137. that moment, he could not find such a one. The

  138. prophets, in verse 25 of our text, the prophets

  139. ad became corrupt. Those who were supposed to

  140. stand for God, they spoke falsely against God.

  141. They stole from people. They separated families.

  142. They misused their authorities. Look what verse

  143. 25 said in our text. It said this in verse 25,

  144. that the conspiracy. Off the prophets. The conspiracy

  145. of the prophets in her midst is like a roaring

  146. lion tearing the prey. They have devoured the

  147. people. They had taken treasures and precious

  148. things. They had made widows in their midst.

  149. In other words, they were sending off the men,

  150. even saying, hey, God has called you to war when

  151. that was. when that was not the Lord who was

  152. speaking. The prophets, they were corrupt, seeking

  153. to do things after their own ways. Then in verse

  154. 26, the priests, the spiritual leaders, those

  155. who were supposed to be disciple makers, they

  156. had failed to teach the truth. They did not teach

  157. the difference between right and wrong. They,

  158. according to Isaiah 5 and verse 20, they say

  159. that what is right is wrong and what is wrong

  160. is right. That black is white and white is black.

  161. Bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. Folks, can

  162. I tell you something? Those are the times that

  163. we find ourselves in where it's hard to distinguish

  164. right from wrong. But as a family of God, we

  165. must know that even sin is still sin. Sin now

  166. in our culture is called rights. Sin at times

  167. is called a privilege. It's called a lifestyle,

  168. alternative facts, entertainment. But whatever

  169. the world desires to consider sin, the word of

  170. God has already defined what sin is. God said,

  171. I sought for a man who would stand in the gap,

  172. but I could not find one. The whole brokenness

  173. occurred because of sin. But I thank God today

  174. that sin is defeated. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Sin

  175. is defeated because of the power of the cross.

  176. Here it is. It continues verse 27. We're talking

  177. about how they get there. Then I'm going to get

  178. to the meat of the message. Verse 27, the officials,

  179. the political figures, instead of serving others,

  180. they serve themselves. Read the text. They were

  181. dishonest. It went on in verse 29 that as a result

  182. of the prophets and the priests and the political

  183. leaders, then the people, they also turned to

  184. their own ways. Because the leaders had failed

  185. to stand for the Lord and it affected everyone

  186. that they were connected to. Can I tell you something

  187. this morning? I'll remind you of something. That

  188. how we live matters. What we do matters. How

  189. we walk matters. Because it impacts every person

  190. that we are connected with. Hear me this morning.

  191. As leaders, even in our home, men, God has designed

  192. us to continue to be the priests of our homes.

  193. He's calling us again to still stand tall so

  194. that others don't fall. How wide was this issue

  195. here? During the time of Ezekiel, it was so wide

  196. that the Bible said that God sought. He searched

  197. all over for a man, but he could not find one.

  198. There was an integrity breach. The people wanted

  199. to compromise truth, conform to culture, bend

  200. with the crowd, or blend in with the crowd. Can

  201. I tell you this morning that God did not call

  202. this the blending? But God has called us to move

  203. towards a cross. Hallelujah. There was a breach

  204. with identity. They forgot who they were in God,

  205. who God has called them to be. But I'm thankful

  206. that I'm looking at a family this morning who

  207. know who they are. Because when we know who we

  208. are in Christ Jesus, no one else can define us.

  209. Come on, somebody. That's why we can stand firm.

  210. Hallelujah. We can stand firm knowing that we

  211. are chosen by God. We can stand firm, though,

  212. that, yes, at times we may experience failure.

  213. At times we may experience disappointment. But

  214. there is a God who's still right there on our

  215. side. And he has called us by our name. Come

  216. on, somebody. We thank God for that this morning.

  217. We have to understand who God reminds us of who

  218. we are. Where he tells us in Jeremiah chapter

    Jeremiah 1 chapter mention

  219. 1, he says, before you were born, I formed you.

  220. He said that I've set you apart. I've called

  221. you by name. I have appointed you to this nation.

  222. That's why we can stand tall and not fall, my

  223. brothers and sisters, because we are confident

  224. in the spoken word of God in our lives. Yes,

  225. come on, give him praise if you believe that

  226. this morning. Hallelujah. Psalm 139 and verse

  227. 13 tells us this, for God himself created us.

  228. He created the inmost being. He knitted us together

  229. in our mother's womb. My God, I'm thankful this

  230. morning. I am thankful this morning that from

  231. my mother's womb, God already formed and shaped

  232. me from your mother's womb. He knew you and he

  233. has set you apart. Verse 14 went on to say, so

  234. therefore I praise him because I am fearfully

  235. and wonderfully made. This morning we are victorious

  236. because of Jesus Christ. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah.

  237. The amazing thing. although there's a breach

  238. in our time, that God is still intentionally

  239. chasing after us. There is no mountain too high

  240. that he will not climb up to reach you. There

  241. is no valley too deep that he will not reach

  242. down his hands and rescue us. Yes, the walls

  243. may be pushing against you, but my God, the one

  244. who may be pushing against you, he's not greater

  245. than the God who is in you. That's why we must

  246. remember who we are. in christ oh glory to god

  247. praise him in the house hallelujah hallelujah

  248. hallelujah there's no doubt that even as dads

  249. we've been feeling pressured sometimes come on

  250. we feel the push to to to be this and to be that

  251. My brothers and sisters, the greatest way to

  252. stand tall for the king of kings is to know who

  253. you are in him, is to continue to have the confidence

  254. in him that he who has began a good work in you,

  255. he is faithful to bring it to completion. And

  256. in spite of the culture, in spite of the conflicts,

  257. in spite of the chaos, Jesus died on the cross

  258. to give you strength, but he did not stay dead.

  259. He got up with all power. in his hands. That's

  260. why he told Peter, upon this rock I will build

  261. my church and the gates of hell will not prevail

  262. against it. Fathers, we are still overcomers.

  263. Mothers, we are still overcomers. Praise him

  264. in the house this morning. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah.

  265. So here it is. If you're taking notes, what should

  266. we do to stand tall? We must come into right

  267. alignment. Somebody say alignment. I'm not a

  268. mechanic, but there may be some mechanics out

  269. there. Any mechanics out there? Yeah, a couple

  270. of you. When a car is out of alignment, what

  271. does it do? Shapes. What else? Ruin the car.

  272. Shout it out. What else? Stairs the wrong way.

  273. My God. Hallelujah. Hear me this morning. That's

  274. what the enemy is wanting to do. He's wanting

  275. to throw us off alignment with our relationship

  276. with God. He want us to forget who we are in

  277. Christ. But this morning, I want to remind some

  278. people that if we're going to be standing tall,

  279. we must come into right alignment in a relationship

  280. with Jesus Christ. What are some things that

  281. may cause us to get off alignment? Distractions.

  282. Come on, somebody. If you're driving a car, Sometimes

  283. a pothole could cause that car to get out of

  284. alignment. Talk back to me this morning. Worn

  285. out parts, worn out tire, accidents, collision

  286. can cause a car to get out of alignment. Sometimes

  287. they say even aggressive driving. Lord have mercy,

  288. we don't have any aggressive drivers here. Thank

  289. God for that. The tire pressure can cause a car

  290. to be out of alignment. Can I tell you this morning,

  291. just like it is even in the natural, my God,

  292. there are times in the spiritual where the enemy

  293. is wanting us to experience some potholes in

  294. our lives that will throw us off. But even though

  295. there are potholes that we may face, there is

  296. still a path that is set. Because of God, that

  297. will help us to get to our destination. Don't

  298. you allow any potholes in this here to take you

  299. off course with God and with your relationship

  300. with him. Oh, glory to God. The enemy sometimes

  301. warn you to be worn out. It's easy to get worn

  302. out. Busy doing this, busy doing that. That's

  303. what the enemy wants to do. He definitely wants

  304. to wear us thin. We're the cares of this world.

  305. It's no wonder Jesus says, throw all your cares

  306. to me. I got this. Come on, y 'all. Come on.

  307. Hear me this morning. What I love about Jesus

  308. is that even children can come to know him. What

  309. Jesus did on the cross was not just for daddy

  310. and mama. But what Jesus did on the cross was

  311. for sons and daughters. There is no age limit

  312. on that cross. I'm thankful for that this morning

  313. because that reminds me that as Jesus was speaking

  314. to his disciples, pastor, he told them that in

  315. this world, somebody say in this world, you will

  316. have some trouble. Oh, glory, glory, glory. But

  317. he told his disciples in John 16 and verse 33,

  318. although you will have some trouble in this world,

  319. don't you worry about it because I have overcome

  320. this world. He said that in me. Hey, hey, hey.

  321. Glory. He said that in me. Somebody say in Jesus.

  322. Shout it back to me. Say in Jesus. He said that

  323. in me you will have peace. That's why I'm telling

  324. you this. Jesus said to the disciples, I'm going

  325. to remind you, yes, we will experience some chaos.

  326. We will experience some troubled times. But in

  327. me you will have peace because I have overcome

  328. the world. What am I saying this morning? Are

  329. you in Jesus? Is your mind made up in Jesus?

  330. Because if you are in Jesus, whether you're a

  331. student, Or an adult, a mama or a daddy. If you

  332. are in Jesus, you will overcome because of the

  333. power of Jesus Christ. Hey. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

  334. Man, I'm feeling it differently up here than

  335. I'm receiving it down there. Come on, somebody.

  336. Somebody say hallelujah. It's good to know Jesus.

  337. Lord, have mercy. Man, it's good to know. Jesus

  338. Christ. Oh, I've been struggling this week. Can

  339. I be real? I've been struggling this week. My

  340. eyes been acting up. You probably could tell.

  341. But I told the devil, you're not going to win.

  342. I tell the devil, you're not going to win. Whenever

  343. God has called us to stand tall, don't believe

  344. that there won't be attacks. Don't you sit there

  345. and believe that you will escape the attacks

  346. of the adversary. Who's an adversary? Peter described

  347. him as a roaring lion. He's seeking whom he may

  348. devour. Here's what he's wanting to do. An adversary

  349. opposes the plans and the things of God. That's

  350. his plan to oppose the work of Jesus in your

  351. life. But if you are in Jesus, he will order

  352. your steps. He will put you in alignment to stand

  353. tall for him. Somebody praise him in this house.

  354. Yeah. Glory to God. Charity was making fun of

  355. me this morning because my ears are small. You

  356. notice the microphone is falling off. But somebody

  357. else told me this morning, you don't need a microphone.

  358. Your mouth is big. Thank you, Pastor. Yeah. Come

  359. on, somebody. Now I'm ready. Somebody say right

  360. alignment. We must be in right alignment. Right

  361. alignment in our relationship with God. He's

  362. still searching for you. Man, I've messed up.

  363. you may be saying i've failed i've gone so far

  364. i've done so many wrongs god is faithful come

  365. on somebody he's still faithful he is faithful

  366. he said in first john chapter 1 verse 9 if you

    1 John 1:9

  367. If you confess with your mouth your sins, he

  368. is faithful and just to forgive you from all

  369. unrighteousness. What a God. What a God. Come

  370. on, praise him in this house. What a God that

  371. he would not leave us where we are in spite of

  372. who we are. That's grace. They just sang about

  373. that this morning. Thank you, Brother Zach and

  374. the team. That's grace, brothers and sisters.

  375. His grace and his mercies, they are new every

  376. morning. And just when the enemy may be whispering

  377. in your ears that you are a failure, you're a

  378. disappointment, you remind the devil who he is,

  379. that he's a defeated foe. Come on, somebody praise

  380. Jesus in this house. defeated he's defeated in

  381. spite of what he's trying to throw at us in our

  382. homes in spite of what he's trying to throw at

  383. us in our personal lives the devil is defeated

  384. and we are children of the most high god come

  385. on somebody glory to god so if you're going to

  386. get in right alignment it requires a trust in

  387. that relationship But pastor, how do I trust

  388. somebody I can't see? I'm glad you asked. Please

  389. stand with me, everybody, if you can. Thank you

  390. so much. Please be seated. I'm glad you laugh

  391. about it because we're going to do it again.

  392. Please stand. And some didn't want to stand this

  393. time. That's okay. You may be seated. You know

  394. what I noticed this morning, Pastor? Not one

  395. person, not one person looked behind them to

  396. see if the pew was still there. But you just

  397. sat down because you believed it was there. Can

  398. I tell you this morning, there are going to be

  399. moments where you can't see Jesus, but he's there.

  400. You got to trust him that he's right there. There

  401. are going to be moments where you can't feel

  402. him working, but he's there. Oh, hallelujah.

  403. You just got to stay in right alignment with

  404. him. Come on, somebody. He's there. He's working.

  405. He's moving. I need one more volunteer because

  406. I need to demonstrate this one more time. Can

  407. I get a volunteer? Quickly, come, come, quick.

  408. The first one to come, come. Thank you, brother.

  409. He's here. Thank you. Hear me this morning. Somebody

  410. say right alignment. Come on, talk back to me.

  411. Say right alignment. That's what Jesus is looking

  412. for his sons and his daughters, his children

  413. to do to be in right alignment with him. My God,

  414. when we're in right alignment with him, he will

  415. take us places that we didn't know that we could

  416. be. He will show you things that you didn't know

  417. that you could see. Hear me this morning. Just

  418. hold my hand right here. Get a hold of me, brother.

  419. Come on. I need it to face that way. Give my

  420. brother a big round of applause. I want you to

  421. go that way, and I'm going to go this way. You

  422. ready? Here we go. Ready? Go. Come on, man. Come

  423. on, brother. You're a man. Come on. Come on,

  424. man. All right, all right. Stop right there.

  425. Amos chapter 3, verse 3. Can two walk together

    Amos 3:3

  426. lest they agree? The Bible says this, unless

  427. we walk together, come on, unless we come in

  428. alignment with the word of God, we won't be in

  429. position to where he's taking us. If you decide

  430. to go that way and God is going that way, my

  431. goodness, there are moments where we will miss

  432. our steps. Why? Because he's a God who orders

  433. our steps, but he's calling us to be in right

  434. alignment with his word, to believe the spoken

  435. word. he has spoken over us and the word that

  436. he has spoken over us is not just for you but

  437. it's every person that is connected to you somebody

  438. say right alignment oh hallelujah hallelujah

  439. we must be in right alignment with Jesus we cannot

  440. do our own thing and expect God to just bless

  441. our mess Lord have mercy I know this is not popular

  442. preaching, but I got to say it this morning.

  443. If we want to experience the fullness and the

  444. power of the Holy Spirit at work in our lives,

  445. we must come into right alignment with the Word

  446. of God. So Proverbs 3, 5, and 6 tells us, trust

  447. in the Lord. With all your heart. I illustrated

  448. earlier. Sometimes you can't see the God who's

  449. working on your behalf. Paul tells us for it

  450. is God who is at work. Somebody say he is at

  451. work. Somebody say is. That means right now.

  452. I don't know what you may be experiencing, but

  453. right now God is at work. is at work tomorrow

  454. he'll still be at work on your behalf next week

  455. he will still be at work on your behalf he is

  456. a God who loves you in spite of you hey he loves

  457. you in spite of where you may find yourself he

  458. loves you in spite of what you may believe about

  459. yourself he loves you in spite of what others

  460. have spoken over you that's why I don't have

  461. time to hear what they have to say as long as

  462. I know what he has spoken over me. Hey, somebody.

  463. Because what he has already spoken is final.

  464. What God has already spoken over you students

  465. is final. You are above and not beneath. You

  466. are chosen. You are set apart. What we have to

  467. do then is set our minds on the things that he

  468. has spoken over us and come back in alignment.

  469. Oh, glory, glory. Glory, glory. With God's word

  470. in our heart, we will not fall apart. As a child

  471. of Jesus, Changing word. I'm going to hold on

  472. to his promises. Hear me this morning. There

  473. may be times where I may feel grief happening

  474. in my heart. My daddy passed away back in 2015.

  475. I was, where were we at the time? Florida? Yeah,

  476. we've been all over the place sometimes. Dates

  477. get crossed. But we're in Florida and we got

  478. a call on a Sunday morning. Daddy got up, 72

  479. years old, got up and he went back to the room

  480. and then one of my brothers found him there unresponsive.

  481. He had been struggling with some health situations,

  482. but I'll never forget that morning, man. Getting

  483. ready to go into the house of the Lord. I was

  484. a children's pastor at the time. And getting

  485. ready to go into the house of the Lord to teach

  486. the kids about the loving God, faithful God,

  487. and God the news. Man, I'll never forget, I went

  488. to my wife and I said, I said, Dad, I called

  489. in my slide and I said, my slide just died. And

  490. she's like, what? And then I just kind of walked

  491. away. My mind was still set on ministering to

  492. the children that morning, but man, it was challenging.

  493. There are moments where we will face some grief.

  494. Many times we'll face sorrow. My God. But everything

  495. that we're experiencing now is not worth comparing

  496. to that which God has in store. It's not worth

  497. comparing to what God has in store ahead. But

  498. wait a minute. We can't get to the then if our

  499. now is not in right alignment. So, you know,

  500. I always encourage children as a children's pastor.

  501. I always encourage them. Don't you wait until

  502. you are 13 to get to know who God is. Don't you

  503. wait until you're 22 to get to know who God is.

  504. Because the earlier you get to know God, the

  505. deeper you grow in your relationship with him,

  506. the stronger your roots will be when trouble

  507. comes. Hear me this morning. No matter who you

  508. are, those of you may be listening or watching.

  509. No matter who we are in this world, we will have

  510. trouble. But you got to be in right alignment

  511. with the king of kings, the author and the finisher

  512. of our faith. the creator of the universe. He's

  513. still reaching for us. The Bible said, I sought

  514. for a man who will build an edge around them

  515. that I will not destroy them. God is still calling

  516. us to be in right alignment so we can stand in

  517. prayer for the next generation. He's calling

  518. us. Yes, come on. He's calling us to be in right

  519. alignment so that we can know what to say to

  520. our sons and daughters in times of difficulty.

  521. He is calling us back in right alignment so that

  522. we can know what to speak over ourselves. Man,

  523. this is for me. I don't know if this is for you,

  524. but it's for me. He's calling us to be in right

  525. alignment so I know what to speak over myself.

  526. That I'm more than a conqueror through Jesus.

  527. That this joy that I have, the world didn't give

  528. it to me. Oh, that he's a way maker. That he's

  529. a promise keeper. That he is strength when I

  530. am weak. Oh, hallelujah. He is peace in my storm.

  531. Right alignment, right alignment. That's why

  532. the word is not optional. It's not an opinion.

  533. It's our only choice. You want to stand tall?

  534. You want to make it? You got to get in the word.

  535. They have this app called We Grow through the

  536. Church of God. Many of you have various devotionals

  537. that you do. But this app that is called We Grow

  538. walks through the Bible. And the Lord has been

  539. helping us in our very own home with our children.

  540. Even the children, we're reading it with them.

  541. Why? Because I don't want our children just to

  542. know God through us. I don't want Declan just

  543. to know of Jesus just through mom and myself.

  544. But I want Declan to know who Jesus is for himself.

  545. Are you hearing me? And I believe, I believe

  546. that as a word is being read, that their faith

  547. will grow because faith comes by hearing and

  548. hearing by the word of God, not by what everybody

  549. else is saying, but what God has said. Come on,

  550. God has spoken. Let the church say amen. Not

  551. only right alignment. I'm moving along. I'm moving

  552. along. I'm moving along. Let me get one more

  553. volunteer real quick. Real quick. Real quick.

  554. Come on. One volunteer. Quick. Quick. Quick.

  555. Who's coming? Thank you, my friend. This is my

  556. Guatemalan partner. Yes, sir. By the way, thank

  557. you for allowing me to go to Guatemala with this

  558. church. It was so much fun. But hear me this

  559. morning. The word of God. Hold it up, man. Thank

  560. you, sir. I won't make a mess. The word of God

  561. is always perfect. The word of God is still relevant.

  562. The word of God is still real. Pastor, you don't

  563. know what I'm going through. You're right. I

  564. don't, but God knows. Pastor, you don't know

  565. where I've been. You're right. don't but he knows

  566. but he has given his word his word to us he sent

  567. his word to heal us my god he sent his word to

  568. direct us he sent his word to strengthen us the

  569. word of god is pure he sent his word to give

  570. us wisdom He sent his word to order our steps.

  571. He sent his word. It is God's perfect plan. My

  572. God, he will lead us in his word and guide us

  573. in his truth. He sent it to us. And the word

  574. is not far from us. It's not across the seas

  575. that we have to send somebody to go and reach

  576. it. But God said that the word is near us. So

  577. hallelujah. The word, the word, the word. In

  578. the beginning was the word and the word was with

  579. God. And the word is God. He is near you. Let

  580. me just pause right there and tell a daddy that

  581. God is near you this morning. He is near you.

  582. In spite of how far sometimes you may think that

  583. he is, he is near you. Come on, say it with me.

  584. God is near me. Come on, he is with me. And I

  585. like what the scripture says. If God is for me,

  586. who can be against me? We got to stay. So sometimes

  587. we feel dry. We feel like nothing is happening,

  588. no breakthrough, no prayer answered. Maybe I'm

  589. the only one. All right, I got a couple witnesses.

  590. Sometimes we come to gathering. We feel empty,

  591. we feel broken. But the God that we serve still

  592. reminds us that he refreshes our soul. He is

  593. a reviving God. Will thou not revive us again,

  594. O God? He's a God who restores. And all we got

  595. to do is just keep going back to the fountain.

  596. There is a fountain filled. It is filled with

  597. his power, his shed blood. And all we got to

  598. do is take another dip. Oh, we got to soak ourselves.

  599. One more time, say, God, like Joshua asked for

  600. me and my house. We will serve the Lord. Jesus,

  601. take me deeper. just a sprinkle. God, I want

  602. to be saturated. I want to be saturated in your

  603. presence because where your presence is, there

  604. is joy. God, I want to be filled with nothing

  605. but you. God, I want to be soaked in your truth

  606. while the world may be spewing lies. God, I want

  607. to know your truth because you shall know the

  608. truth and the truth shall set you free. Jesus,

  609. take me. I wish I had. a witness to say jesus

  610. i want to go deeper i want to go deeper in you

  611. if that's you shout hallelujah why is that important

  612. because we will all walk out of here in just

  613. a few minutes but when we walk out we're not

  614. walking out empty hey oh oh god We're going to

  615. get back on the job. Summer is coming for our

  616. students. And believe me, there's some tricks

  617. and trials that you will face. But you're not

  618. going to leave here today empty. What's in you

  619. is what God has poured out in you. So when the

  620. world begins to squeeze you, what's coming out

  621. of you is not cuss words, but his word, his truth,

  622. his life, his power. Because you have been saturated

  623. in his presence. But let the world squeeze you.

  624. Let trouble come. But know that Jesus has filled

  625. you up. Come on. Somebody praise him in his house.

  626. Hey! Glory to God. I want to be soaked in his

  627. presence. I want to be in right alignment with

  628. him. I want Jesus to be pouring out of me. me

  629. so that when others see me they don't see my

  630. weakness but they see the strength of God yes

  631. yes yes oh Jesus loves you this morning glory

  632. to God glory right alignment because when you

  633. get into right alignment you remember what he

  634. has spoken over you here it is come on Zach come

  635. back please here's what happens Sometimes the

  636. enemy wants us to see our situations instead

  637. of what God has spoken over you. Are you hearing

  638. me this morning? Sometimes he wants us to show

  639. us everything, every trouble. And it's right

  640. there in front of us. But God wants to remind

  641. you this morning, his words. Or greater. As words

  642. are stronger. Greater is God who is in you. Than

  643. he who is in this world. Somebody say right alignment.

  644. Here's why that's important. Because there is

  645. an assignment. Somebody say assignment. What

  646. is the assignment? In verse 30. God said I sought

  647. for a man. Who would build up the edge around

  648. them. Your assignment is to put a hedge around

  649. those around you. Church, we are the called out

  650. ones. Yeah, you are. You are the called out ones

  651. by God with an assignment to be the best man

  652. that he has ever created you to be. in spite

  653. of to be the best woman that he has created you

  654. to be in spite of there is an assignment on each

  655. of our lives that's why there's an intensity

  656. of the attack of the enemy because the enemy

  657. is gold still is as written in john 10 10 to

  658. steal kill and destroy You are a threat to daddy

  659. to the enemy Mama you are a threat to the enemy.

  660. That's why the enemy don't want you to pray That's

  661. why he don't want you in small groups. That's

  662. why the enemy don't want you in church. That's

  663. why the enemy don't want you in the word. Because

  664. if you harmed yourself with the weapons because

  665. the warfare that we're in are not carnal, but

  666. they are spiritual. And we got to arm ourselves

  667. with the spiritual weapons that Jesus has given

  668. to us. So hear me. There is an assignment in

  669. spite of the attack. That's why when you get

  670. into right relationship with him and you position

  671. yourself, say, God, I'm going to live for you

  672. no matter what. A lot of people think that once

  673. you come to know Jesus as Savior, then it's all

  674. nice. Walking in the garden with Jesus. Man,

  675. I'm a living witness. I got several witnesses

  676. this morning. When you come to know Jesus, you

  677. are a target. You are a threat. But don't you

  678. give up on God. I just felt that in the atmosphere.

  679. Don't you give up on God. Here's what the verse

  680. says. For he is seeking after us. In other words,

  681. he has not given up on us. And if God has not

  682. given up on me, I will not give up on him. I

  683. will press towards the mark of the prize of the

  684. high calling in Jesus Christ. Somebody said there

  685. is an assignment on your life. isn't closing

  686. not only we got to come in right alignment because

  687. what happened is you got to go back and read

  688. this text in Ezekiel 22 I mean it started from

  689. those who God had placed in positions started

  690. with the prophets moved it trickled down to the

  691. priests then it moves to the political leaders

  692. and all of them stepped out of alignment with

  693. what God wanted and it trickled down to the people

  694. Whom they were serving. And God showed up on

  695. the scene. And he's like. I'm still searching.

  696. I'm still seeking. For a man. I'm still seeking.

  697. For someone. Who will build an edge. Around them.

  698. Put a wall. Around them. See daddy. That's why

  699. it's still important. No matter what stage of

  700. daddying or fathering you're in, it's still important

  701. to whisper a prayer for your sons, your daughters,

  702. your grandchildren. It's still important to call

  703. out their names before the Lord because the assignment

  704. hasn't changed. From that very first day when

  705. you were so in love, and yes, there may be some

  706. storms that has occurred. The amazing thing,

  707. man, God still chases after you. Because he loves

  708. you so much. And the beautiful thing about God

  709. is that no matter the storm, no matter the pain,

  710. he's there. He's Emmanuel. He is for you. He's

  711. not against you. Stay in alignment. Remember

  712. the assignment. And watch this. You cannot do

  713. it on your own. We need the anointing. That's

  714. the last slide up there, the anointing. You have

  715. an anointing on you that comes from God. I need

  716. the anointing to raise my children. We need the

  717. anointing for the assignment that God has placed

  718. on your life. How do we get the anointing? It's

  719. a gift from God. It is he who calls you into

  720. relationship with him. Therefore, he has all.

  721. Everything I need. Everything I need. Come on.

  722. My father. The anointing is from God, our Father.

  723. He is perfect in all his ways. He's a provider.

  724. Yes, please. Right here today, there may be somebody

  725. who you find yourself out of alignment a little

  726. bit. But Jesus, the master fixer, he's in the

  727. house. We pray that you were impacted powerfully

  728. by this message. If you have been personally

  729. affected by our ministry and you would like to

  730. partner with us as we love God, love people every

  731. day,
