Thank you for listening to this message from
-
Lifehouse Church. assemble on Wednesday nights.
-
Our kids are here for kids club, you know, finding
-
a home for them. So important where they can
-
fellowship one with another and learn God's word.
-
Also want to give honor to Dr. Bell. Good to
-
see you in the house of the Lord. God bless you.
-
And first lady, God bless you. Good to see you
-
all today. I want to bring you honor and greetings
-
also from our state office with Bishop Hughes
-
and Sister Abigail Hughes. They send their love
-
and their prayers. We've just gotten out of camp
-
meeting and some of you were there and what a
-
time we had this week. It was so powerful and
-
we thank God for what he's doing in this great
-
state. Amen. Also want to give honor to my lovely
-
wife who was here this morning. My bride of 19
-
years. And to God be the glory. God is so good.
-
God has blessed us with two amazing children.
-
Declan and Gianna. And Declan has allowed me
-
to be a dad first, you know, after 12 years of
-
waiting. And then came Gianna. And I'm telling
-
you, many of you have heard perhaps bits and
-
pieces of her testimony before. But in your waiting
-
season, don't you give up on God. Because he
-
won't give up on you. And his promises are yes
-
and amen. Amen, somebody. And so I thank God
-
for all that he's doing. I also want to recognize
-
the students who are in the house this morning,
-
all of our students. Will you put your hands
-
together for the students in the house? Come
-
on. I firmly believe that the last day revival
-
is going to occur because of our young people
-
who are pushing towards God, seeking the face
-
of God. And guess what? The enemy is defeated.
-
Our young people are marching forward to know
-
who God is. And as long as we continue to stand
-
with them, we know that they are overcomers and
-
they are victorious in Jesus' name. If you believe
-
it, say amen. In just about two weeks, or less
-
than two weeks, we'll be gathered together with
-
our students at Bongiorno Campground for Youth
-
Camp. And already so many have signed up to be
-
a part of what God is doing. Already we have,
-
together with leaders and students, over 400
-
people will be gathered together. And I just
-
believe in God to do a mighty work in our lives.
-
And I thank you so much for partnering with us
-
or praying with us and for being a tremendous
-
supporter of the state activities, YWA, our international
-
activity. Thank you. You have been one of our
-
strongest supporters here in this. local assembly
-
and i want to say thank you so much for your
-
continual support for being the hands and feet
-
of jesus would you give yourselves one more round
-
of applause again i honor pastor kip god bless
-
you sir and dixie god bless you thank you so
-
much i want to i read this morning from ezekiel
Ezekiel 22 chapter mention
-
chapter 22 ezekiel 22 that's where i'll be going
-
this morning on this father's day And although
-
this message may, you know, it's Father's Day,
-
but I believe that this message is going to be
-
for everyone. Everyone today. Ezekiel chapter
Ezekiel 22 chapter mention
-
22 and verse 30. Would you stand one more time
-
for the reading? Thank you. Verse 30. So I sought
-
for a man among them who would make a wall. and
-
stand in the gap before me on behalf of the land,
-
that I should not destroy it, but I found no
-
one. Father, thank you for your word this morning.
-
Thank you, Lord, for your people. I pray, Lord,
-
that you will anoint us afresh to hear from you
-
and to use us for the furtherance of your kingdom.
-
Father, I thank you that you are our perfect
-
father. You are our present Father. And God,
-
you are actively at work on our behalf. We give
-
ourselves to you this morning in Jesus' name.
-
Amen. You may be seated. I want to speak to us
-
this morning for a few minutes on this thought.
-
Stand tall so they don't fall. Stand tall so...
-
They don't fall. You know, the world that we're
-
currently in, you can see all around you, it
-
seems like the world is on fire. Seems like there's
-
a lot of crisis going on. Chaos. Confusion. It
-
seems as if the walls of this world, the safeguards
-
are falling apart. Compromised. And at risk of
-
collapsing. There is a need in our homes and
-
in our communities. And in this nation for the
-
people of God to stand tall. So that the next
-
generation will not fall. There is a need for
-
that. There is a breach that is occurring. A
-
breach in the various walls of protection. There
-
is a weakness that is happening that can lead
-
to great damage, compromise that will lead to
-
weakness within the walls of integrity, walls
-
of honesty. Many of us have heard of, you know,
-
the breach of like a dam. or the breach of a
-
contract, or the breach of security. But in our
-
text today, the prophet was writing and speaking
-
metaphorically about a gap in the wall, or a
-
breach in the wall which is not physical, but
-
a metaphor to the spiritual condition of Israel.
-
They had compromised themselves. Through spiritual
-
and moral failures. They had failed to uphold
-
God's standards. Thus, they hope in themselves
-
to God's judgment and punishment. And this is
-
a reminder, brothers and sisters, today that
-
there is no doubt that there is still a consequence
-
for sins. In Romans chapter 6 and verse 23. The
Romans 6 chapter mention
-
Bible tells us that the wages of sin is still
-
death, but the gift of God is eternal life. And
-
I thank God this morning that he does not want
-
us to stay in sin, but he has made a way for
-
us through Jesus. In the New Living Translation
-
in Ezekiel chapter 22 and verse 30, it says,
Ezekiel 22 chapter mention
-
I look for someone. who might rebuild the wall
-
of righteousness that guards the land. It says,
-
I searched for someone to stand in the gap in
-
the wall so that I would not have to destroy
-
it, but I found no one. God himself is searching.
-
He's the one who's doing the searching. He's
-
still searching for us. He's still searching
-
for men and women in our nation to continue to
-
stand for him. He's still searching for us to
-
represent him. Verse 6 tells us in this text,
-
in Ezekiel chapter 22, by their own choosing,
Ezekiel 22 chapter mention
-
they walk towards their own ways. By their own
-
willfulness, they walk away from the truth. By
-
their own wickedness, They walked away from the
-
things of God. And a breach has occurred where
-
there's an edge and now there's a gap where the
-
enemy believes that he can have a stronghold.
-
How did they get there? In our text, the sin
-
of the people had gotten so bad that God began
-
to seek for a person. A man, a woman, a youth
-
who would intercede, who would stand in the gap.
-
But the scripture tells us that tragically, at
-
that moment, he could not find such a one. The
-
prophets, in verse 25 of our text, the prophets
-
ad became corrupt. Those who were supposed to
-
stand for God, they spoke falsely against God.
-
They stole from people. They separated families.
-
They misused their authorities. Look what verse
-
25 said in our text. It said this in verse 25,
-
that the conspiracy. Off the prophets. The conspiracy
-
of the prophets in her midst is like a roaring
-
lion tearing the prey. They have devoured the
-
people. They had taken treasures and precious
-
things. They had made widows in their midst.
-
In other words, they were sending off the men,
-
even saying, hey, God has called you to war when
-
that was. when that was not the Lord who was
-
speaking. The prophets, they were corrupt, seeking
-
to do things after their own ways. Then in verse
-
26, the priests, the spiritual leaders, those
-
who were supposed to be disciple makers, they
-
had failed to teach the truth. They did not teach
-
the difference between right and wrong. They,
-
according to Isaiah 5 and verse 20, they say
-
that what is right is wrong and what is wrong
-
is right. That black is white and white is black.
-
Bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. Folks, can
-
I tell you something? Those are the times that
-
we find ourselves in where it's hard to distinguish
-
right from wrong. But as a family of God, we
-
must know that even sin is still sin. Sin now
-
in our culture is called rights. Sin at times
-
is called a privilege. It's called a lifestyle,
-
alternative facts, entertainment. But whatever
-
the world desires to consider sin, the word of
-
God has already defined what sin is. God said,
-
I sought for a man who would stand in the gap,
-
but I could not find one. The whole brokenness
-
occurred because of sin. But I thank God today
-
that sin is defeated. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Sin
-
is defeated because of the power of the cross.
-
Here it is. It continues verse 27. We're talking
-
about how they get there. Then I'm going to get
-
to the meat of the message. Verse 27, the officials,
-
the political figures, instead of serving others,
-
they serve themselves. Read the text. They were
-
dishonest. It went on in verse 29 that as a result
-
of the prophets and the priests and the political
-
leaders, then the people, they also turned to
-
their own ways. Because the leaders had failed
-
to stand for the Lord and it affected everyone
-
that they were connected to. Can I tell you something
-
this morning? I'll remind you of something. That
-
how we live matters. What we do matters. How
-
we walk matters. Because it impacts every person
-
that we are connected with. Hear me this morning.
-
As leaders, even in our home, men, God has designed
-
us to continue to be the priests of our homes.
-
He's calling us again to still stand tall so
-
that others don't fall. How wide was this issue
-
here? During the time of Ezekiel, it was so wide
-
that the Bible said that God sought. He searched
-
all over for a man, but he could not find one.
-
There was an integrity breach. The people wanted
-
to compromise truth, conform to culture, bend
-
with the crowd, or blend in with the crowd. Can
-
I tell you this morning that God did not call
-
this the blending? But God has called us to move
-
towards a cross. Hallelujah. There was a breach
-
with identity. They forgot who they were in God,
-
who God has called them to be. But I'm thankful
-
that I'm looking at a family this morning who
-
know who they are. Because when we know who we
-
are in Christ Jesus, no one else can define us.
-
Come on, somebody. That's why we can stand firm.
-
Hallelujah. We can stand firm knowing that we
-
are chosen by God. We can stand firm, though,
-
that, yes, at times we may experience failure.
-
At times we may experience disappointment. But
-
there is a God who's still right there on our
-
side. And he has called us by our name. Come
-
on, somebody. We thank God for that this morning.
-
We have to understand who God reminds us of who
-
we are. Where he tells us in Jeremiah chapter
Jeremiah 1 chapter mention
-
1, he says, before you were born, I formed you.
-
He said that I've set you apart. I've called
-
you by name. I have appointed you to this nation.
-
That's why we can stand tall and not fall, my
-
brothers and sisters, because we are confident
-
in the spoken word of God in our lives. Yes,
-
come on, give him praise if you believe that
-
this morning. Hallelujah. Psalm 139 and verse
-
13 tells us this, for God himself created us.
-
He created the inmost being. He knitted us together
-
in our mother's womb. My God, I'm thankful this
-
morning. I am thankful this morning that from
-
my mother's womb, God already formed and shaped
-
me from your mother's womb. He knew you and he
-
has set you apart. Verse 14 went on to say, so
-
therefore I praise him because I am fearfully
-
and wonderfully made. This morning we are victorious
-
because of Jesus Christ. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
The amazing thing. although there's a breach
-
in our time, that God is still intentionally
-
chasing after us. There is no mountain too high
-
that he will not climb up to reach you. There
-
is no valley too deep that he will not reach
-
down his hands and rescue us. Yes, the walls
-
may be pushing against you, but my God, the one
-
who may be pushing against you, he's not greater
-
than the God who is in you. That's why we must
-
remember who we are. in christ oh glory to god
-
praise him in the house hallelujah hallelujah
-
hallelujah there's no doubt that even as dads
-
we've been feeling pressured sometimes come on
-
we feel the push to to to be this and to be that
-
My brothers and sisters, the greatest way to
-
stand tall for the king of kings is to know who
-
you are in him, is to continue to have the confidence
-
in him that he who has began a good work in you,
-
he is faithful to bring it to completion. And
-
in spite of the culture, in spite of the conflicts,
-
in spite of the chaos, Jesus died on the cross
-
to give you strength, but he did not stay dead.
-
He got up with all power. in his hands. That's
-
why he told Peter, upon this rock I will build
-
my church and the gates of hell will not prevail
-
against it. Fathers, we are still overcomers.
-
Mothers, we are still overcomers. Praise him
-
in the house this morning. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
So here it is. If you're taking notes, what should
-
we do to stand tall? We must come into right
-
alignment. Somebody say alignment. I'm not a
-
mechanic, but there may be some mechanics out
-
there. Any mechanics out there? Yeah, a couple
-
of you. When a car is out of alignment, what
-
does it do? Shapes. What else? Ruin the car.
-
Shout it out. What else? Stairs the wrong way.
-
My God. Hallelujah. Hear me this morning. That's
-
what the enemy is wanting to do. He's wanting
-
to throw us off alignment with our relationship
-
with God. He want us to forget who we are in
-
Christ. But this morning, I want to remind some
-
people that if we're going to be standing tall,
-
we must come into right alignment in a relationship
-
with Jesus Christ. What are some things that
-
may cause us to get off alignment? Distractions.
-
Come on, somebody. If you're driving a car, Sometimes
-
a pothole could cause that car to get out of
-
alignment. Talk back to me this morning. Worn
-
out parts, worn out tire, accidents, collision
-
can cause a car to get out of alignment. Sometimes
-
they say even aggressive driving. Lord have mercy,
-
we don't have any aggressive drivers here. Thank
-
God for that. The tire pressure can cause a car
-
to be out of alignment. Can I tell you this morning,
-
just like it is even in the natural, my God,
-
there are times in the spiritual where the enemy
-
is wanting us to experience some potholes in
-
our lives that will throw us off. But even though
-
there are potholes that we may face, there is
-
still a path that is set. Because of God, that
-
will help us to get to our destination. Don't
-
you allow any potholes in this here to take you
-
off course with God and with your relationship
-
with him. Oh, glory to God. The enemy sometimes
-
warn you to be worn out. It's easy to get worn
-
out. Busy doing this, busy doing that. That's
-
what the enemy wants to do. He definitely wants
-
to wear us thin. We're the cares of this world.
-
It's no wonder Jesus says, throw all your cares
-
to me. I got this. Come on, y 'all. Come on.
-
Hear me this morning. What I love about Jesus
-
is that even children can come to know him. What
-
Jesus did on the cross was not just for daddy
-
and mama. But what Jesus did on the cross was
-
for sons and daughters. There is no age limit
-
on that cross. I'm thankful for that this morning
-
because that reminds me that as Jesus was speaking
-
to his disciples, pastor, he told them that in
-
this world, somebody say in this world, you will
-
have some trouble. Oh, glory, glory, glory. But
-
he told his disciples in John 16 and verse 33,
-
although you will have some trouble in this world,
-
don't you worry about it because I have overcome
-
this world. He said that in me. Hey, hey, hey.
-
Glory. He said that in me. Somebody say in Jesus.
-
Shout it back to me. Say in Jesus. He said that
-
in me you will have peace. That's why I'm telling
-
you this. Jesus said to the disciples, I'm going
-
to remind you, yes, we will experience some chaos.
-
We will experience some troubled times. But in
-
me you will have peace because I have overcome
-
the world. What am I saying this morning? Are
-
you in Jesus? Is your mind made up in Jesus?
-
Because if you are in Jesus, whether you're a
-
student, Or an adult, a mama or a daddy. If you
-
are in Jesus, you will overcome because of the
-
power of Jesus Christ. Hey. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
-
Man, I'm feeling it differently up here than
-
I'm receiving it down there. Come on, somebody.
-
Somebody say hallelujah. It's good to know Jesus.
-
Lord, have mercy. Man, it's good to know. Jesus
-
Christ. Oh, I've been struggling this week. Can
-
I be real? I've been struggling this week. My
-
eyes been acting up. You probably could tell.
-
But I told the devil, you're not going to win.
-
I tell the devil, you're not going to win. Whenever
-
God has called us to stand tall, don't believe
-
that there won't be attacks. Don't you sit there
-
and believe that you will escape the attacks
-
of the adversary. Who's an adversary? Peter described
-
him as a roaring lion. He's seeking whom he may
-
devour. Here's what he's wanting to do. An adversary
-
opposes the plans and the things of God. That's
-
his plan to oppose the work of Jesus in your
-
life. But if you are in Jesus, he will order
-
your steps. He will put you in alignment to stand
-
tall for him. Somebody praise him in this house.
-
Yeah. Glory to God. Charity was making fun of
-
me this morning because my ears are small. You
-
notice the microphone is falling off. But somebody
-
else told me this morning, you don't need a microphone.
-
Your mouth is big. Thank you, Pastor. Yeah. Come
-
on, somebody. Now I'm ready. Somebody say right
-
alignment. We must be in right alignment. Right
-
alignment in our relationship with God. He's
-
still searching for you. Man, I've messed up.
-
you may be saying i've failed i've gone so far
-
i've done so many wrongs god is faithful come
-
on somebody he's still faithful he is faithful
-
he said in first john chapter 1 verse 9 if you
-
If you confess with your mouth your sins, he
-
is faithful and just to forgive you from all
-
unrighteousness. What a God. What a God. Come
-
on, praise him in this house. What a God that
-
he would not leave us where we are in spite of
-
who we are. That's grace. They just sang about
-
that this morning. Thank you, Brother Zach and
-
the team. That's grace, brothers and sisters.
-
His grace and his mercies, they are new every
-
morning. And just when the enemy may be whispering
-
in your ears that you are a failure, you're a
-
disappointment, you remind the devil who he is,
-
that he's a defeated foe. Come on, somebody praise
-
Jesus in this house. defeated he's defeated in
-
spite of what he's trying to throw at us in our
-
homes in spite of what he's trying to throw at
-
us in our personal lives the devil is defeated
-
and we are children of the most high god come
-
on somebody glory to god so if you're going to
-
get in right alignment it requires a trust in
-
that relationship But pastor, how do I trust
-
somebody I can't see? I'm glad you asked. Please
-
stand with me, everybody, if you can. Thank you
-
so much. Please be seated. I'm glad you laugh
-
about it because we're going to do it again.
-
Please stand. And some didn't want to stand this
-
time. That's okay. You may be seated. You know
-
what I noticed this morning, Pastor? Not one
-
person, not one person looked behind them to
-
see if the pew was still there. But you just
-
sat down because you believed it was there. Can
-
I tell you this morning, there are going to be
-
moments where you can't see Jesus, but he's there.
-
You got to trust him that he's right there. There
-
are going to be moments where you can't feel
-
him working, but he's there. Oh, hallelujah.
-
You just got to stay in right alignment with
-
him. Come on, somebody. He's there. He's working.
-
He's moving. I need one more volunteer because
-
I need to demonstrate this one more time. Can
-
I get a volunteer? Quickly, come, come, quick.
-
The first one to come, come. Thank you, brother.
-
He's here. Thank you. Hear me this morning. Somebody
-
say right alignment. Come on, talk back to me.
-
Say right alignment. That's what Jesus is looking
-
for his sons and his daughters, his children
-
to do to be in right alignment with him. My God,
-
when we're in right alignment with him, he will
-
take us places that we didn't know that we could
-
be. He will show you things that you didn't know
-
that you could see. Hear me this morning. Just
-
hold my hand right here. Get a hold of me, brother.
-
Come on. I need it to face that way. Give my
-
brother a big round of applause. I want you to
-
go that way, and I'm going to go this way. You
-
ready? Here we go. Ready? Go. Come on, man. Come
-
on, brother. You're a man. Come on. Come on,
-
man. All right, all right. Stop right there.
-
Amos chapter 3, verse 3. Can two walk together
-
lest they agree? The Bible says this, unless
-
we walk together, come on, unless we come in
-
alignment with the word of God, we won't be in
-
position to where he's taking us. If you decide
-
to go that way and God is going that way, my
-
goodness, there are moments where we will miss
-
our steps. Why? Because he's a God who orders
-
our steps, but he's calling us to be in right
-
alignment with his word, to believe the spoken
-
word. he has spoken over us and the word that
-
he has spoken over us is not just for you but
-
it's every person that is connected to you somebody
-
say right alignment oh hallelujah hallelujah
-
we must be in right alignment with Jesus we cannot
-
do our own thing and expect God to just bless
-
our mess Lord have mercy I know this is not popular
-
preaching, but I got to say it this morning.
-
If we want to experience the fullness and the
-
power of the Holy Spirit at work in our lives,
-
we must come into right alignment with the Word
-
of God. So Proverbs 3, 5, and 6 tells us, trust
-
in the Lord. With all your heart. I illustrated
-
earlier. Sometimes you can't see the God who's
-
working on your behalf. Paul tells us for it
-
is God who is at work. Somebody say he is at
-
work. Somebody say is. That means right now.
-
I don't know what you may be experiencing, but
-
right now God is at work. is at work tomorrow
-
he'll still be at work on your behalf next week
-
he will still be at work on your behalf he is
-
a God who loves you in spite of you hey he loves
-
you in spite of where you may find yourself he
-
loves you in spite of what you may believe about
-
yourself he loves you in spite of what others
-
have spoken over you that's why I don't have
-
time to hear what they have to say as long as
-
I know what he has spoken over me. Hey, somebody.
-
Because what he has already spoken is final.
-
What God has already spoken over you students
-
is final. You are above and not beneath. You
-
are chosen. You are set apart. What we have to
-
do then is set our minds on the things that he
-
has spoken over us and come back in alignment.
-
Oh, glory, glory. Glory, glory. With God's word
-
in our heart, we will not fall apart. As a child
-
of Jesus, Changing word. I'm going to hold on
-
to his promises. Hear me this morning. There
-
may be times where I may feel grief happening
-
in my heart. My daddy passed away back in 2015.
-
I was, where were we at the time? Florida? Yeah,
-
we've been all over the place sometimes. Dates
-
get crossed. But we're in Florida and we got
-
a call on a Sunday morning. Daddy got up, 72
-
years old, got up and he went back to the room
-
and then one of my brothers found him there unresponsive.
-
He had been struggling with some health situations,
-
but I'll never forget that morning, man. Getting
-
ready to go into the house of the Lord. I was
-
a children's pastor at the time. And getting
-
ready to go into the house of the Lord to teach
-
the kids about the loving God, faithful God,
-
and God the news. Man, I'll never forget, I went
-
to my wife and I said, I said, Dad, I called
-
in my slide and I said, my slide just died. And
-
she's like, what? And then I just kind of walked
-
away. My mind was still set on ministering to
-
the children that morning, but man, it was challenging.
-
There are moments where we will face some grief.
-
Many times we'll face sorrow. My God. But everything
-
that we're experiencing now is not worth comparing
-
to that which God has in store. It's not worth
-
comparing to what God has in store ahead. But
-
wait a minute. We can't get to the then if our
-
now is not in right alignment. So, you know,
-
I always encourage children as a children's pastor.
-
I always encourage them. Don't you wait until
-
you are 13 to get to know who God is. Don't you
-
wait until you're 22 to get to know who God is.
-
Because the earlier you get to know God, the
-
deeper you grow in your relationship with him,
-
the stronger your roots will be when trouble
-
comes. Hear me this morning. No matter who you
-
are, those of you may be listening or watching.
-
No matter who we are in this world, we will have
-
trouble. But you got to be in right alignment
-
with the king of kings, the author and the finisher
-
of our faith. the creator of the universe. He's
-
still reaching for us. The Bible said, I sought
-
for a man who will build an edge around them
-
that I will not destroy them. God is still calling
-
us to be in right alignment so we can stand in
-
prayer for the next generation. He's calling
-
us. Yes, come on. He's calling us to be in right
-
alignment so that we can know what to say to
-
our sons and daughters in times of difficulty.
-
He is calling us back in right alignment so that
-
we can know what to speak over ourselves. Man,
-
this is for me. I don't know if this is for you,
-
but it's for me. He's calling us to be in right
-
alignment so I know what to speak over myself.
-
That I'm more than a conqueror through Jesus.
-
That this joy that I have, the world didn't give
-
it to me. Oh, that he's a way maker. That he's
-
a promise keeper. That he is strength when I
-
am weak. Oh, hallelujah. He is peace in my storm.
-
Right alignment, right alignment. That's why
-
the word is not optional. It's not an opinion.
-
It's our only choice. You want to stand tall?
-
You want to make it? You got to get in the word.
-
They have this app called We Grow through the
-
Church of God. Many of you have various devotionals
-
that you do. But this app that is called We Grow
-
walks through the Bible. And the Lord has been
-
helping us in our very own home with our children.
-
Even the children, we're reading it with them.
-
Why? Because I don't want our children just to
-
know God through us. I don't want Declan just
-
to know of Jesus just through mom and myself.
-
But I want Declan to know who Jesus is for himself.
-
Are you hearing me? And I believe, I believe
-
that as a word is being read, that their faith
-
will grow because faith comes by hearing and
-
hearing by the word of God, not by what everybody
-
else is saying, but what God has said. Come on,
-
God has spoken. Let the church say amen. Not
-
only right alignment. I'm moving along. I'm moving
-
along. I'm moving along. Let me get one more
-
volunteer real quick. Real quick. Real quick.
-
Come on. One volunteer. Quick. Quick. Quick.
-
Who's coming? Thank you, my friend. This is my
-
Guatemalan partner. Yes, sir. By the way, thank
-
you for allowing me to go to Guatemala with this
-
church. It was so much fun. But hear me this
-
morning. The word of God. Hold it up, man. Thank
-
you, sir. I won't make a mess. The word of God
-
is always perfect. The word of God is still relevant.
-
The word of God is still real. Pastor, you don't
-
know what I'm going through. You're right. I
-
don't, but God knows. Pastor, you don't know
-
where I've been. You're right. don't but he knows
-
but he has given his word his word to us he sent
-
his word to heal us my god he sent his word to
-
direct us he sent his word to strengthen us the
-
word of god is pure he sent his word to give
-
us wisdom He sent his word to order our steps.
-
He sent his word. It is God's perfect plan. My
-
God, he will lead us in his word and guide us
-
in his truth. He sent it to us. And the word
-
is not far from us. It's not across the seas
-
that we have to send somebody to go and reach
-
it. But God said that the word is near us. So
-
hallelujah. The word, the word, the word. In
-
the beginning was the word and the word was with
-
God. And the word is God. He is near you. Let
-
me just pause right there and tell a daddy that
-
God is near you this morning. He is near you.
-
In spite of how far sometimes you may think that
-
he is, he is near you. Come on, say it with me.
-
God is near me. Come on, he is with me. And I
-
like what the scripture says. If God is for me,
-
who can be against me? We got to stay. So sometimes
-
we feel dry. We feel like nothing is happening,
-
no breakthrough, no prayer answered. Maybe I'm
-
the only one. All right, I got a couple witnesses.
-
Sometimes we come to gathering. We feel empty,
-
we feel broken. But the God that we serve still
-
reminds us that he refreshes our soul. He is
-
a reviving God. Will thou not revive us again,
-
O God? He's a God who restores. And all we got
-
to do is just keep going back to the fountain.
-
There is a fountain filled. It is filled with
-
his power, his shed blood. And all we got to
-
do is take another dip. Oh, we got to soak ourselves.
-
One more time, say, God, like Joshua asked for
-
me and my house. We will serve the Lord. Jesus,
-
take me deeper. just a sprinkle. God, I want
-
to be saturated. I want to be saturated in your
-
presence because where your presence is, there
-
is joy. God, I want to be filled with nothing
-
but you. God, I want to be soaked in your truth
-
while the world may be spewing lies. God, I want
-
to know your truth because you shall know the
-
truth and the truth shall set you free. Jesus,
-
take me. I wish I had. a witness to say jesus
-
i want to go deeper i want to go deeper in you
-
if that's you shout hallelujah why is that important
-
because we will all walk out of here in just
-
a few minutes but when we walk out we're not
-
walking out empty hey oh oh god We're going to
-
get back on the job. Summer is coming for our
-
students. And believe me, there's some tricks
-
and trials that you will face. But you're not
-
going to leave here today empty. What's in you
-
is what God has poured out in you. So when the
-
world begins to squeeze you, what's coming out
-
of you is not cuss words, but his word, his truth,
-
his life, his power. Because you have been saturated
-
in his presence. But let the world squeeze you.
-
Let trouble come. But know that Jesus has filled
-
you up. Come on. Somebody praise him in his house.
-
Hey! Glory to God. I want to be soaked in his
-
presence. I want to be in right alignment with
-
him. I want Jesus to be pouring out of me. me
-
so that when others see me they don't see my
-
weakness but they see the strength of God yes
-
yes yes oh Jesus loves you this morning glory
-
to God glory right alignment because when you
-
get into right alignment you remember what he
-
has spoken over you here it is come on Zach come
-
back please here's what happens Sometimes the
-
enemy wants us to see our situations instead
-
of what God has spoken over you. Are you hearing
-
me this morning? Sometimes he wants us to show
-
us everything, every trouble. And it's right
-
there in front of us. But God wants to remind
-
you this morning, his words. Or greater. As words
-
are stronger. Greater is God who is in you. Than
-
he who is in this world. Somebody say right alignment.
-
Here's why that's important. Because there is
-
an assignment. Somebody say assignment. What
-
is the assignment? In verse 30. God said I sought
-
for a man. Who would build up the edge around
-
them. Your assignment is to put a hedge around
-
those around you. Church, we are the called out
-
ones. Yeah, you are. You are the called out ones
-
by God with an assignment to be the best man
-
that he has ever created you to be. in spite
-
of to be the best woman that he has created you
-
to be in spite of there is an assignment on each
-
of our lives that's why there's an intensity
-
of the attack of the enemy because the enemy
-
is gold still is as written in john 10 10 to
-
steal kill and destroy You are a threat to daddy
-
to the enemy Mama you are a threat to the enemy.
-
That's why the enemy don't want you to pray That's
-
why he don't want you in small groups. That's
-
why the enemy don't want you in church. That's
-
why the enemy don't want you in the word. Because
-
if you harmed yourself with the weapons because
-
the warfare that we're in are not carnal, but
-
they are spiritual. And we got to arm ourselves
-
with the spiritual weapons that Jesus has given
-
to us. So hear me. There is an assignment in
-
spite of the attack. That's why when you get
-
into right relationship with him and you position
-
yourself, say, God, I'm going to live for you
-
no matter what. A lot of people think that once
-
you come to know Jesus as Savior, then it's all
-
nice. Walking in the garden with Jesus. Man,
-
I'm a living witness. I got several witnesses
-
this morning. When you come to know Jesus, you
-
are a target. You are a threat. But don't you
-
give up on God. I just felt that in the atmosphere.
-
Don't you give up on God. Here's what the verse
-
says. For he is seeking after us. In other words,
-
he has not given up on us. And if God has not
-
given up on me, I will not give up on him. I
-
will press towards the mark of the prize of the
-
high calling in Jesus Christ. Somebody said there
-
is an assignment on your life. isn't closing
-
not only we got to come in right alignment because
-
what happened is you got to go back and read
-
this text in Ezekiel 22 I mean it started from
-
those who God had placed in positions started
-
with the prophets moved it trickled down to the
-
priests then it moves to the political leaders
-
and all of them stepped out of alignment with
-
what God wanted and it trickled down to the people
-
Whom they were serving. And God showed up on
-
the scene. And he's like. I'm still searching.
-
I'm still seeking. For a man. I'm still seeking.
-
For someone. Who will build an edge. Around them.
-
Put a wall. Around them. See daddy. That's why
-
it's still important. No matter what stage of
-
daddying or fathering you're in, it's still important
-
to whisper a prayer for your sons, your daughters,
-
your grandchildren. It's still important to call
-
out their names before the Lord because the assignment
-
hasn't changed. From that very first day when
-
you were so in love, and yes, there may be some
-
storms that has occurred. The amazing thing,
-
man, God still chases after you. Because he loves
-
you so much. And the beautiful thing about God
-
is that no matter the storm, no matter the pain,
-
he's there. He's Emmanuel. He is for you. He's
-
not against you. Stay in alignment. Remember
-
the assignment. And watch this. You cannot do
-
it on your own. We need the anointing. That's
-
the last slide up there, the anointing. You have
-
an anointing on you that comes from God. I need
-
the anointing to raise my children. We need the
-
anointing for the assignment that God has placed
-
on your life. How do we get the anointing? It's
-
a gift from God. It is he who calls you into
-
relationship with him. Therefore, he has all.
-
Everything I need. Everything I need. Come on.
-
My father. The anointing is from God, our Father.
-
He is perfect in all his ways. He's a provider.
-
Yes, please. Right here today, there may be somebody
-
who you find yourself out of alignment a little
-
bit. But Jesus, the master fixer, he's in the
-
house. We pray that you were impacted powerfully
-
by this message. If you have been personally
-
affected by our ministry and you would like to
-
partner with us as we love God, love people every
-
day,
