Lowly Jesus On A Lowly Donkey (Stick Ponies)- Bro Samuel Howell 4-19-2023

Praising him for his sweet presence. It's here tonight. If you have felt

his presence, which is just raised both hands, if possible, just wrap

around him and say why would I do that? The Bobby said, if

happily you'll find him. You feel after him, you'll find him. He's

in this house tonight. God has blessed us. I feel impressed upon my

heart of the Lord to get brother Samuel on up here. And we do

want to say it's good to see everybody. We will upbeat you all regarding

commission work Sunday night of a Sunday night service. And we've missed those that

are unable to be here tonight due to different circumstances sickness, work, and

traveling. We have some out. We even miss our salesman, brother Jeremie's

sister Lead, a couple of brothers, Samuel old baby Lord. But it

is so good to be home among you all, and to be in the

presence of the Thin. The Lord been good already, not too certainly glad

to have our pastor home as well as brother Nathaniel. The Lord brought them

home safe. I'm looking forward to hearing what the Lord done over there in

Dominica dexcited to hear about it. It's a great thing at the Lord's time.

I do want to take the time to thank my pastor to allow me

the opportunity to preaching his coole bit. I know he don't let just anybody

come in here, and he don't he don't not pray about who he's going

to have preach. So I do consider it an honor to preaching this man

of God's poolpit. We have your bibles. I'd like to preach for a

little while. And Matthew chapter twenty one, verses one through seven, also

little bit nervous. Yeah. And when they drew nigh into Jerusalem, and

cometh unto thee, meek, lowly and sitting upon an ass and the cold,

the full of an ass. And then the disciples went and did his

g commanded them, and they brought the ass and the cold and put them

there on their clothes, and they sat him there on, looping over to

daughter Jerusalem, Behold the Lord, thy King cometh unto thee. He

is just having salvation, lowly, riding upon an ass and upon a colt

before of an ass. A little while we're preach in that Versus scripture there

like to talk for a little while to preach, however, the Lord it

leads me on lowly Jesus on a lowly donkey. I got this title with

pastor called me about the eleventh level, thirty of think. It was the

night they were supposed to be flying out. I called the pastor and I

just want to lay him know that I loved him, casing anything went wrong

and just let him know that I was praying for him. Hope they had

a safe plot. And then the pastor, he didn't ask me, he

told me, he said be ready Wednesday night. And it caught me off

guard, and I said, well, I think I have something. I

didn't say it to him but myself, but I said, let me go

to my prayer closet. My prayer closet is the place where I I got

saved and sanctified. I mean there every morning and every night before I when

I wake up, before I go to bed. That's my place. And

I didn't just want to jump into it saying Lord, I need something,

You're gonna have to help me. First, I started off by thanking the

Lord for everything he'd done for me that day and everything everything he's blessed me

with me and Philip both recently. The Lord has just blessed us with both

of us got two raises within a week like I got too, and he

got to within like a couple of days. So I think the Lords with

that, and then I started praying. I got a praying for I passed

through both the banier that they would have a safe fly, and it just

randomly popped in my head, and I said, well, and that was

weird. So I real fast popped into my phone and went back to praying.

And then I realized, that's that. That's my message, that the

lords giving you so as a lord to help me. I do want to

preach on loadly Jesus on a lowly donkey. Most people, if they were

given a choice between a donkey or horse, most of us, without any

questions, say I want the horse. No doubt about a pastor, he

was raised on horses. That's what he used to eat. Sleep. I

know someone up to stake and said, why I got five donkeys? What

about a horse? Devils killing what they can say? Now, I want

the horse, race the Lord. A horse is better number one to look

upon a horses, bigger, horses higher, Thus people can see you better.

A horse can hide you up high or over top of a crowd,

where you can see where you're going. But yet, donkeys are you used

to plow with or to carry goods from one place to another, as just

said, and Zachariah said, thy king cometh unto thee he is judged having

salvation lowly and riding upon an ass and the cold, which is a little

donkey, of course, the cold where we see there, the donkey is

carrying the goods of our master right there. Jesus chose a donkey. It

wasn't because that's all he could find at the time. But that's what he

wanted. He said, that's what I'm gonna use. If he wanted the

horse of a king, he could have got that where it's God. Also,

not only did he choose a donkey, he chose a baby donkey the

least of all. Least. If you look up a cold a colt's about

waist high to me, and you see a grown man. Jesus was like

thirty two years old, I believe it was. Imagine you see it,

a grown man on a baby donkey, riding through the streets of the Jerusalem.

Jesus sat on it, and that donkey cold had never ever in his

life, ever been ridden, had always been in the bag. Maybe get

prepared to take his mother's place, because Jesus brought the mother along too.

That donkey had never been sat upon. Voices have to be broke before they

can be rode. As you don't even know if you were to get on

a horse, you never that hasn't been wrote you get the ride of your

life and an experience that you'll never forget. And I'm trust me plenty of

stories past drives towards. Got a lot of stories he can tell us about

horses that ain't got on the break. But yet Jesus said, that's what

I want. I want a donkey to lead me into the entrance, and

that's what I'll use. I'm store. The feet of Jesus were probably pretty

close to the ground as he walked through the streets of a road, through

the street to the Jerusalem. There are some people, if they were given

the choice between a horse or a donkey, they was there there ain't no

way me being the place that I am and who I am. Then you're

gonna see me walking to ride through the streets of Jerus, but on a

donkey. When I can have the choice to ride on a horse of the

king, Well, that colt, what's fit for a king? You didn't

have to be the horse of a king. That's the one that God chose.

That's the way of load's gonna end. Those same people will be the

same one that would put on the show as they rode through the street.

Or the horse of a king. They will be making a jump, a

running kick, even a rearing Bolli's high lamps. But that's not what our

Lord j just want it. He wasn't there to put on a show.

He wasn't there to say, look at me, I look like a king

hall. If the Lord God was to let you choose a horse or a

lonely donkey, but what you honestly choose? And most of you would chose

a horse. But that's the problem. You wouldn't even be able to handle

your horse because you mightn't even learn a handle your donkey. What makes you

make you can handle a horse? The words that would run and get it

and get back out, that can easily fuck you up. Be faithful with

your lonely donkeys before you going out to God, give me a horse the

ward very when the Lord knows probably goodn't will you can't even handle a stickpony,

but yet you want to hold the roof. There was a time and

in my life that God knew I couldn't even handle a stickpony. I'm just

now starting out with a stickpony, Praise God. But by God's grace and

by God's help, I'm gonna be faithful with my stickpony. I'm gonna enjoy

n my stickparty, and I want to get God and glory forgiving it to

you. Oh Gray, I hear in Luke chapter sixteen, verse ten,

it says he that it's faithful when that which just leaves, it's faithful off

thoting much prease God. First show God how faithful you are with your donkey

before you going asking for an upgrade. Pastor is the perfect example of someone

who was faithful with their donkey given to him. He had a lot of

opportunity to treatment to trade in his donkey for a horse of Lord, but

he knew that saw us there is no way we were ready for the ride

of a horse of Lord. Yet he worked with us and took his time

to deal with us and ask God, Lord prepare them. And we've seen

in the week and the weeks don't dine as the Lord has given Pastor and

brother Nathaniel and Upgraid from their donkey to give them a horse of ward.

After they began the battle for souls across the sea. The Lord knows,

and he knows it's going to be a fight till the end because they have

proven that they are faithful with the lonely meat donkeys. Now a donkey does

I have a powerful kick? Then they can't run, But they don't have

the abilities and a horse of war. They don't have the height needed in

war to see what's ahead. Can you imagine seeing a fleet of horses,

of men on horses coming towards you, and also you catch a clinch?

He say, Nah, I didn't just see that. I just seen some

manor in a little cone on a donkey. That's why God knew that Pastor

and both Nathaniel needed an ungrade to go against the enemy. God has given

him other members of the church reaching the upgrade, he said, Not only

imagine true people going into the streets of Dominique and God is with them,

Praise God. But with a fleet of people on the war horses have a

much more can God do? Pread God? But but they don't have the

aubility of a warhoalse force. They don't have the high time, He said

that just trying to find a spot. They don't have the height to see

what's ahead. When I first started seeking the Holy Ghost, I was seeking

with the thought of Lord, how will you use me right? Well?

I had to well, will I be just a good old holy ghost field

member on the pew who has the pastor's back. But you shouldn't have to

have the holy gooes to have the pastors back. You can't have the pastors

back with or without, but you can have it even more with. Well,

then I thought, roll over my well, maybe I'll be a preacher.

I don't know. But when I stopped thinking about what will God dude

with me, I really got to seeking Lord Lord. I need the holy

ghost to make heaven my home and to live a holy life. And not

only that. I got a wife and two kids and probably wore on.

But before I started seeking the holy ghost. I got real serious after a

while, and I started praying, Lord, I don't care who gets it

in my family, my meeted family. Just somebody's got to help. Somebody's

got to heaven. In a week, we can feel the nug No,

no, no, don't do that. No, I don't do that.

And I was willing that the Lord plusser used my wife. I was gonna

sometimes not I was gonna make sure that it was other holy ghosts, and

she was just pushing me around. You say no, I don't do that,

and then be a hendrix I made in my mind. Lord, I

don't care if my wife was to get it or if Natalie was to get

it at a young age. Lord, just somebody needed it. Little God

finally gave me my little donkey. And I'm not knocking the Holy goes by

calling a donkey. That's just what God put in my care as of right

now. So if we would be faithful with our donkey and learn how to

enjoy riding him before you go jumping on a horse of war, because with

bigger things become bigger problems, which reminds me of that message that pastor just

preached not long ago. Hey boy, get off that bull. He talked

about that cowboy who thought he was really somebody just because he looked apart,

and he thought just because I got this big old silver buckle or gold buckle

or whatever that was probably fake. That means I could buy the baddest bull

in the in the shoe. But we all know how that story ended.

It didn't in the well. But God won't and God don't and won't let

you get a hold of something you can't handle, but you must still learn

how to handle it. Don't seek the holy ghost so you can teach your

preach, seek him because you need him. God. One more thing,

if God was to choose you to wrong them, would you say, Lord,

just to head up, I mean a donkey's body, but I got

a horse of war trapped in me. But that's not what God's wont God

made you look like a donkey, and he wants you to walk and act

like a donkey. Jesus goes jumping on your back, thinking he's getting on

a donkey. Now this wouldn't happen. Jesus knows all things, but something

was to happen, and he didn't know. He said, I'm getting on

a donkey. And also you go watch what I can do, Lord,

and start kicking in a bucking and jumping around and running. Give might throw

the Lord off and the Lord saith while make your never get on that dope,

gigg in. Be faithful, be faithful to have a lowly donkeyad and

to be a lowly donkey that Jesus can run a part. Well, I've

delivered the burden on my heart. Lord, we can all stand. I

really did have a burden on my heart. I cried on this to Lord.

Lord, don't get sidetrack saking I know I can handle something more.

You can't handle nothing more. I can right now. I'm not trying to

slap me, but I can barely handle what God it's a it's a word,

they say it. It takes to keep it, what it took to

get it. I'm handling it God's help, not by myself, by God's

help. But you go asking for a horse of war and you ain't prepared.

Now, horse of war might turn around and stop you into the ground

and kick you in the devil would love nothing more to take your blessing and

turn it into a curse. So if and when you do get upgraded to

a horse of war, make sure you take care of what side you get

on. Now, horse of war not too irritate as flanks or something to

cause him to be hang on, Lord, he's not ready for dame.

Kick you back to donkey stage. I'm not knocking donkeys. I'm just using

that as a and it's that God used a donkey, and he could use

anything that he wants to. Just be prepatient and be willing to use whatever.

Let y'all use you. However, whatever, whenever and wherever the time

comes, would come and find a place to pray m h m m m

m m m m m m m made. When I would rather stay,

he send me and out the battles again to be byself dechered. Me keeps

sayinging me alart, but when the worst completing, I'll have a serve.
