Brother Nathaniel, Hebrews, chapter number ten, verse number twenty five, not
-
forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but
-
exhorting one another, and so much more as you see the day approaching,
-
Amen, Brother Jesse. John Chapter number ten, verses twelve through fourteen.
-
But he that isn't hiring and hath not the shepherd who's on the sheep,
-
are not seeth. The wolf cometh and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth,
-
and the wolf catcheth him, and scattereth the sheep. The hirling fleeth because
-
he isn't hiring, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good
-
shepherd. I know my sheep, and name none of mine. Amen.
-
Sounds like brother Jesse has a cold, like I do. Let's stand for
-
the reading of our texts. Verse Chronicles, chapter number eleven, reading verses
-
numbers ten through fourteen. The Bible said, these all so are the chief
-
of the mighty men whom David had, who strengthened themselves with him in his
-
kingdom and with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word
-
of the Lord concerning Israel. And this is the number of the mighty men
-
whom David had. I don't have my reading glasses to hear. We're going
-
pull him back. Jesh Beam and Hakami, the chief of the captains.
-
He lifted up his spear against three hundreds slain by him at one time.
-
And after him was Eliezar, the son of Dodo the whole High, who
-
was one of the three Mighties. Isn't that need one of the three mighties.
-
He was with David at Pandaranum, And there at the Philistines were gathered
-
together to battle, where was a parcel of ground full of barley, and
-
the people fled from before the Philistines. May we prayly, Father, we
-
love him, We praise you tonight. We thank you for the opportunity to
-
be in the house of the Lord. We pray God, that you would
-
anoint this thy servants and of God in my mouth. Help me to say
-
the things that you would have me to say, nothing more or less.
-
Anoint the ears of this thy people, that they might hear what the Spirit
-
saith unto the churches through this preached word, this blessed book. Not my
-
words, but your words, Dear Holy Goes preach through me. I pray,
-
may they hear what the spirit saith this church right here, this very
-
night. I pray God and sayings of this blessed book would go below the
-
shoulders that enter their heart, mind, soul's spirit. God, help us
-
not to hear only but to he he held brother Jesse's body and my body
-
others that are sick tonight and fevering. God, sickness seemingly has jumped upon
-
me just before I started preaching. I pray that you would help us and
-
antics to hear. I pray we would depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully.
-
In Jesus name. Amen, let's do something different. Stretch your hand
-
this way and ask God to give me strength. And feel extremely weak,
-
I know he can help me, Heavenly, Father, God, I know
-
that you can heal me. I'm own business for the King. I pray
-
Lord that you will help me right now and more give me strength that I
-
need to preach. Lord, there's no dout. The devil knows what I
-
pray and preach. That I run under attire. I pray that I pray
-
to you will do my health long to power host. My prayer they give
-
me is focused. I do. That's I have to turn Lord, I
-
must be the man to somebody to my I ask you again, a wilieve
-
you will power, you will spare by pathful for the street that I feel
-
in Jesus name. They man, thank you for praying with me as you're
-
being seated. Let's look at verses number thirteen and fourteen. Again the Bible
-
said he was with David at past Dammam, and there the Philistines were gathered
-
together to battle, which was where a parcel of ground was full of barley.
-
And the people fled from before the Philistines. And they set themselves in
-
the midst of that parcel and delivered it and slew the Philistines, and the
-
Lord saved them by a great deliverance. Our text is found in an Old
-
Testament book of the Holy Bible, the Book of First Chronicles. This eleven
-
chapter of this book of the Bible has been a favorite of mine for as
-
long as I can remember. I remember being a little boy in that Pentecostal
-
church, the Church of God of Cleveland, where I was raised, and
-
when the preachers would preach out of this leventh chapter of the Book of First
-
Chronicles, something within me would stir up. I felt like I knew that
-
one day I would be a soldier of the Cross, a fighter inside of
-
me would come alive. And I marveled at that mysterious feeling a lot of
-
times at the reading of the text within this chapter. There was something about
-
it, whether rodecap, that would rally my spirit. For as long as
-
I can remember, this is one of my favorite chapters of this blessed book.
-
And it's very satisfying. It's gratifying, it's fulfilling. It's fulfilling and
-
satisfying to me because it proves that the Lord finishes everything that he starts.
-
In my line of business, I tell my employees and co workers that it's
-
not how we start something, that's all in how we finish it. And
-
I preached this past Wednesday night, and here we are again tonight on a
-
Wednesday night, and I talk to us about Him being the author and the
-
finisher of our faith last Wednesday night, and I believe that it should be
-
satisfying and fulfilling to you tonight to understand that that good thing that God has
-
beginning you, he will bring it to fulfillment. And I believed here tonight
-
that there are people in this building that recognize there is something mysterious going on
-
in your life that you thought you would never be where you are at today.
-
There's some of you asking yourself, how did I end up here?
-
How did I end up with this blessing? How did I get this position?
-
And graze them with a master. It's because of the perfect will of
-
God that you're abiding him, and because of the plan of God. God
-
has brought you here. He is rallying the troops to do something for him
-
in the last of time and the end of the days. He's got us
-
all here, Brother Nathaniel, and I believe that as long as we all
-
abide in His perfect will and stay within certain boundaries, we can see things
-
come to fulfillment, or, to use a different word, into fruition.
-
The Bible reader knows that David had been declared king right here. I believe
-
that there's a lot of people in this building tonight that you would say I
-
had decided to make Jesus king of my life. There's been a lot of
-
emphasis on Jesus being King of kings and Lord of lords of late in our
-
services and until you come to that place in your life where he sits on
-
the throne in your heart. Until He rules you, you cannot see the
-
great things of God done in your life. So we see here as we're
-
reading this chapter, that David has been brought to hebred and finally Israel has
-
come together, and they've come together together to sell celebrate David as king.
-
Everybody's excited because what had been prompisied has come to pass. The promises of
-
the Lord are yea and amen. The Bible said that the Lord is not
-
slack concerning his promises. So now it's time to celebrate. Everybody's excited since
-
to him, and I look out at the congregation sometimes and I see reasons
-
for an abundance of joy and jubilation and excitement because of the way God has
-
rallied the troops, the way he is building this church. Jesus promised that
-
he would build a church. He said that the gates of Hell would not
-
prevail against that church that he would build. I can say tonight by personal
-
testimony that when God begins to do something, and sometimes even when God prompts
-
a preacher to preach a certain message, that preacher comes under attack. It's
-
a spiritual attack, and sometimes we can feel it in our physical body.
-
I was feeling fine up until it came time to preach. The devil has
-
seen these notes, He seen the direction that the Lord has set me in
-
tonight, and he has upset about it, because the devil does knock like
-
seeing God's plans come to fulfillment. And so David had been King Judah,
-
partial fulfillment of the plan of God, partially fulfilled, brother Jesse, but
-
not completely satisfied. Y'all let that seek him. But now all Israel has
-
declared his kingship. It's so sad that the process took as long as it
-
did, but the day came. And as we continue reading this narrative,
-
we see that David and the Israelites traveled to the land of the Jepes sides,
-
and David said, do you see that heal over there? I want
-
us to conquer that hell and make that the place of the capital city,
-
and we will call it the city of David, New Jerusalem, mouth Scion.
-
It's gonna be a new place for us. It's gonna be a place
-
where we can set uptak the blessings of God and look around at our surroundings
-
and say, without a doubt, God brought us to this lofty place.
-
The Bible teaches us that at some point, brother Jesse, they overtook that
-
city after a skirmish. A military skirmish had taken place, and they overtook
-
the city. Everything that you get from God will come through a battle.
-
You're gonna have to fight. The Apostle Paul said, you must fight the
-
good fight. There's a lot of people. They just want to lay down
-
and give up, and they don't want to fight for the things that God
-
has prim Still, but we find that even though David has been crowned now
-
king of all Israel, he's got to fight. Another battle is going to
-
require a skirmish. Now Here is what God laid on my heart to preach
-
tonight. Don't get squirmish because of the skurvish. There's people in this building.
-
I can sense that they are prone to fear or cowardice. I believe
-
that if you're going to make it to God's heaven, you're going to have
-
to lose that spirit of fear. The Bible said that God has not given
-
us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of
-
a sound mind. But you say, I feel like I have made it
-
because now I'm a member of the Bethel Holiness Church. I'm part of the
-
family of God. If you're going to make it to God's capital city,
-
that New Jerusalem, you're gonna have to fight some spiritual chimpion sides along the
-
way. You see, the Bible says that David had told his men,
-
We've got to go fight in order to overtake this city. If I'm gonna
-
live in the castle, we've got to remove the chimpions sides. The Bible
-
said that the chimpion sides walked out. They approached these men and let them
-
know, you cannot have it. It's not yours to have. The devil
-
will tell a lot of us that's off. It's not within our reach.
-
It's out of bounds. It's not ours to possess. But brother just said,
-
every person that is a fighter will do whatever they can do to see
-
to it that they get whatever it is that God intends for them to have.
-
And so David had to challenge his men, and he gave them something
-
that made it worth fighting for. He said, whoever overtakes the city,
-
whoever answers and accepts the challenge, I will make them the chief over my
-
military. As I reigned in this castle in the city called Mount Science,
-
the city of David, you will be bestowed with honor. People will look
-
upon you with admiration, and they will know that the blessing of David is
-
upon you. The Chronicle says that Joe A. David's arose to the challenge
-
and said, I will go down there. How many of you know that
-
if you're going to win in your life, you got to accept the challenges
-
that come your way. I'm trying to demonstrate that to you tonight. The
-
challenge before me is to preach over some sort of spiritual attack, to preach
-
through some kind of spiritual weakness to the devil's trying to plat me win because
-
he does not want you to get a hold of this message. To Mike.
-
You see, there's a lot of people that have just said church,
-
keep on shouting, and I'll preach this with a feeling better with my voice
-
his sounding better. I fettle better right now. You see, David have
-
a capital city of mind. And David knew that some special person would be
-
chief or captain over the army of that special capital city. And David did
-
not stop after that. He had overcome the city and had occupied the city
-
with Pia. David began to build around the capital, where the world capital.
-
While David was building around the capital, enlarging his territory and enlarging his
-
boundaries, the Bible said that Joe app began to repair the city. It
-
takes two teen warner. The Bible said, too, is better that warn
-
and a three fund court is not easily broken. I don't know what your
-
assignment is, if it's to repair the water, or to work at the
-
church, or teach a suns old CLASSA. I don't know what your assign
-
it is that is to repair broken homes and broken thoroughly sa and broken hearts,
-
or perhaps is to be an international harvester that began to spread out your
-
tentaclesa and overtaken extend the bountry Linescather Jesse, how feel a preacher here to
-
not regardless of of my voice, just a posa. The Word of Cold
-
said that David became great. Look at it right there in First Chronicles,
-
chapter number eleven and verse number nine. So David watched greater and greater,
-
for the Lord of Hosts was with him, Sister heaven. David watched greater
-
and greater, for the Lord of Hosts was with him. It is a
-
blessing for David to know that the Lord is with him, and that the
-
Lord has ordered his step. Another reason why I enjoy reading this chapter,
-
it's because it tells us, the readers, that David had some great people
-
with him. If you'll look at meirst number ten, the Bible said,
-
these also are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who strengthen
-
himself with him in his kingdom. It appears that these mighty men and the
-
people of Israel were in this to make him their king. You cannot be
-
in this for yourself. You've got to be in this for somebody else,
-
more importantly, for Jesus, and for your brother and sister, and for
-
the lost people. They said, if my kny, they were determined that
-
there would be one man that they recognize as their leader, one man that
-
would be their key. I know, as the church would look up to
-
our pastor. I appreciate your admiration, I appreciate your reus spect towards me
-
and appointing me as you're a pastor. But I want us to know something
-
in this battle that we're in We've got to remember the causer, and while
-
we are fighting that it is from one man and one man alone. We're
-
fighting for the Lord, I said, we're fighting for Jesus saying, I'm
-
fighting because from the Lord and the Lord's plans. I'm not trying to go
-
about this from my old agenda. I'm not trying to me to my old
-
condition to I'm fighting because of God enlisted me the fight. Brother Jesse read
-
that scripture. Listen to whom we are fighting for. And in the midst
-
of the seven candlesticks were like unto the sun of man, clothed with a
-
garnet down to the foot and girt about the path the golden girdle. His
-
head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow, and
-
his eyes were as a flame of fire, and his feet like in a
-
fine breath, and it burned in a furnace, and his voice as a
-
sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars,
-
and out of his mouth went a sharp two head sword, and his counternance
-
was as the sun shineth in his strength. It is true that this man
-
Eliazar was fighting for David because he loved David. It is true that all
-
of these body men recognized that God was with David, and their loyalty is
-
to be appreciated and admired. They were loyal to a fault concerning David.
-
But Brother Jesse, I feel like I said, I feel like they were
-
looking beyond David and they saw that person that Brother Jacob and Brother Jesse just
-
described that Jock the Revelator had looked at and beheld. And I've been like
-
here tonight that there's a lot of mighty people in this building tonight. Some
-
don't realize just how instrumental you are in this battle that had been a raid
-
and that we're fighting in. Some of you don't realize exactly how strong you
-
are. You're stronger than you think you are, and you're fighting for a
-
cause that has been put inside of you. We find that this man has
-
been called one of the mighties. That's a biblical word, one of the
-
mighties. And the exploits of this man is our golden text. A familiar
-
enemy has come into the land now, Brother Jonathan, a very familiar enemy,
-
one that David is very familiar with. David had at some point destroyed
-
their champion. But it seems that the enemy just continue to reproduce. It
-
seems like the longevity of the enemy is just perpetual. It's eternal. Brother
-
Wrong, Captain David of Goliath. And when some of us mighty men killed
-
the brothers of Goliath, the Philistines, but I jes say they did not
-
eliminate the enemy. David has said that the battle is the lord's and it
-
was ever hit. The God was going to destroy some Philistines, but they
-
were not all destroyed. And so we find here that this man Elia's art
-
is dealing with an enemy that is very familiar. How many of you know
-
that the Bible said Elijah was a man subject the like passions as we are,
-
but he prayed. How many of you know that Jesus was tempted at
-
all points in all matters, like as you have been tempted. It's a
-
familiar enemy. It might be a formidable phone or the cheer of mind.
-
But this enemy that we're dealing with tonight, that's trying to hidder us from
-
bringing in the gifts of God that we'en enherging the promises of God, is
-
trying to hit somebody in this building to die. I want you to know.
-
You need to recognize that that there are people in this building that I've
-
already worn some fights with these enemies that you're facing. I don't know what
-
kind of temptation testing your toil a trial you're in tonight, but there are
-
people that can say, I am familiar with that family. I am familiar
-
with the s Philistine. I am familia with the way they fight and the
-
way they work. And now you can study this and see it, and
-
the Philistines gethered together hit more to place. They should never be true that
-
the enemy gethers together and it's more unified, and the people have gone mad.
-
You find these people come into cost territory and they took up a stand
-
right there. They come on. Now they find it straight when they're coming
-
the holdiness Churchill, that the people take up a stand and say, you're
-
not gonna breathe the prosductrins, You're not gonna take up a long grond from
-
myself. I tell somebody here to night that the church has got to be
-
beautified. We've got to stand to get us from them. Oh God,
-
I feel the strength, Just give me a little bit more so. The
-
enemy appeared to be united in their calls and in their purpose. The enemy
-
has a wolf pack mentality. Brother, want us notice why the enemy is
-
assemblant together. Most of God's people are fleeing. But brother Jeremiah set of
-
Elia's are and David and some of his men that they were not prone to
-
flee. Thing. I'm a shirt up tonight is the sinners are gathering together.
-
It doesn't matter if it's for some sort of banquet. It doesn't matter
-
us for a gathering at a spool hall, or for some concern or scene,
-
or down at the local pub. The sinners are congregating and they are
-
coming together. But the churches are closing their doors. Why because they are
-
fleeing when the wolf comes. My brother read it in Hebrews, chapter number
-
ten and verse number twenty five. Not for saking this assembling of ourselves together,
-
as the mayor of SMIs, but exhorting one another. And so much
-
the more as she see the day approaching. May we be like Eliazar,
-
he was not going to flee. I know that it is commonplace now to
-
have one service a week, to close the churchill a Sunday night, to
-
not turn on the lights of home Wednesday night. It's commonplace now to give
-
away our revival. Now they don't want to have more. And a two
-
or three not revival. I'm telling you that a ground and we got a
-
fight more to tell us turned in and the church is fleaing. I said
-
that devil is coming in and the church is fleaing. Why because people are
-
getting squirmish? Say because but the squirmish said, you cannot allow yourself to
-
this squirmish. To be squirmish is to be easily made to feel sick,
-
faint, or disgusted. You see what the devil's trying to do right here
-
to your pastor tonight, I have felt great all day long. Squirmish is
-
to be unpleasant. Imagery is such as the sight of blood made me feel
-
squirmish. It can be to be easily offended or disgusted. I know people
-
that have abandoned pastorates and attending rock solid holding as churches simply because the devil
-
come in and creating us some trouble. And they said, I don't vote
-
any parture her confusing. God is nothing after her confusing. You can quote
-
as Finnish scriptures as you want to, as you look over your shoulder and
-
run away from the roof packer and I'm gonna tell you hit before I've been
-
teaching us, alf there are boys and girls to see you stand put it
-
scandrew. Ground considered trust can considered more clota. Somebody's gonna stand their ground.
-
So many are so squirmish because of this Turvish brother Rode Captain Devil can
-
just come in and say I'm gonna huff and I'm gonna puff and I'm gonna
-
blow your house down. And you know what, they put their belonging to
-
a suitcase and they say, see you, I didn't sign up for this.
-
When you became a Christian, you became a lawyer. If you are
-
a Christian, you are a lawyer. Hey, come on now. If
-
you are a Christian and you are not a lawyer, you are not a
-
Christian. I appreciate the old Mother anything, but Christian has said that MWord
-
Christian soldiers, So marching out to war, we're the cross of Jesus going
-
old before I'll say it tonightto i'mword Christian soldiers armor Christian said rward. Christian
-
postim s we got the fight point even ain't worth fighting point. It ain't
-
worth the live and he wor said, I feel like it's not only work,
-
did it bore, it's my thing? Point he want us a did
-
that's him die for it? Maybe want it so bad you die for it?
-
Oh, I feel a shatter upte John, chapter number ten, verses
-
twelve three fourteen. Our brother read it. But he that isn't hirely,
-
and not the shepherd who's on the sheep, or not see it. The
-
wolf cometh and leave it the sheep and fleeth, and the wolf cutcheth them
-
and scatters the sheep. One thing would never be said of David when he
-
was taking care of the sheep of his father Jesse. When David was wearing
-
the title of shepherd over the flock of Jesse on his breast, everybody knew
-
he is more than a shepherd boy. He is a shepherd warrior. That
-
he's gonna fight for him sheep. That pre truth. When the lion came
-
in and take a lamb, David fought for one lamb. When the bear
-
come in to take one lamb, David fought for one lob. I gonna
-
fight to one doctor. I'm gonna fight her form one role. I'm gonna
-
fight for one standard of I amout that fight that tisted in me, but
-
I will fight her for this moral ground that God has given us a to
-
protect. I would have fight for this holy ground, the sacred ground,
-
this blessed book. This generation is wanting us to accept same sex marriage.
-
They're wanting us to flee away from the subject of homosexuality. They want us
-
to abandon it and not preach it in our pool pits. They have tormented
-
our wonderful governor rotten Us sent us because he is a man that refuses to
-
flee when the liberal wolfs come and try to take what is considered to be
-
sacred ground. I'm gonna continue to preach against homosexuality until my dying day.
-
In my period last breath, I tell us somebody care an you gotta left
-
the spiritual and a warrior come alive, but get you, because when it's
-
alive and you remeb gotta feels like shouted, but you will shoutter and that
-
God can pare, that God is club. When it feels like pretty losing
-
ground and we're losing people, you read Piecrt for what he is. A
-
left I'm telling us here to night and we got the pie part. But
-
I get nervous. I get squirmish whenever they start running in declaring victory.
-
I get squirmish whenever I realize we're in a spiritual skirmish. As soon as
-
I announced that I was under spiritual attack, I've only maybe setting that in
-
two or three times of ministry over sixty seventeen years. I know that the
-
devil is wanting to keep some of you in that timidity. He wants to
-
keep some of you as cowards, spiritual cowards, and with me under the
-
spiritual attack that I'm under right now. Some of you have felt no desire
-
to playing some of your extremul and saying you mean the cavils that song,
-
You mean the cavils at Paraclat, that he could interfere with my pastor trying
-
to preach to us. But if we can get a view as to who
-
has hovered over the barley patch, if we can see who the real shepherd
-
is, that's what they even knew. That's the las are new, this
-
is tearing. Tell him, this is God's count and the cover can't come
-
in here. My listener, soldier, he come, my listen, I'll
-
take he came a list of skin of the God that I'll tell us somebody
-
then this church hauns up. You're gonna stop coming alive. But if you're
-
gonna fight up, I said, you're gonna FIGHTE got gonna fight. When
-
I get nervous because of all that shouting, do you realize that shouting there's
-
a spiritual hard cry. He were not competer that creditor? Is he theres
-
beIN us that he is in the Lord. That's my shinners, my shout
-
the same chount we shout. He's better, He's creating who you see.
-
There's a difference in the spirit of an hireling and the owner of the sheep.
-
This is why I feel like it's worth fighting for through sickness and preaching
-
with him naughty to a spiritual attack, because I realize if the devil's attacking
-
me, it's because he does not want one of you, or to in
-
three of you, whoever you are, to learn how to be a fighter.
-
You see a fighter and will see tune it that God's we all is
-
perfected in their life, and that God's we all comes into parishion. They
-
will do whatever it takes to not mess it up. Jesus had pointed out
-
this difference between the hired hand or the hireling, b the w and the
-
owner of the sheep. And part of this Jesus had spoken of a deeper
-
rubber that would come in knocked through the door. I'll come on now,
-
tell us somebody in this building tonight to this position that you're end is a
-
temporal pos this Shai, because the hirling there's nothing more than a Sunday Christian.
-
And I reachday Christian the hired hand, and there's nothing more than I
-
tall labor. I didn't get it to the owner, but he's fully invested.
-
He turned the money for petrol hockey. I tell us somebody to not
-
tell you want to own the bottle. Feel you want to own the body,
-
feel hocky, You want to take holdership and be the a and not
-
a hard head. Somebody said, why do you fight for those people the
-
way you do? When you take ownership, you become invested. They hurt
-
you hurt, they feel it, you feel it, They suffer, you
-
suffer. Apostle Paul said, I bear in my body the marks of the
-
Lord's Savior, Jesus Christ. But he also said, there's a load upon
-
me that is greater than anything I could have for experience. I'm shouldering the
-
load of the church. Brother Jesse would have been so easy to have forsaken
-
that for her union and returned to religious at here, had become a two
-
day oser again and climbed the first see a corporate latter, the religious,
-
the latter of that day. But instead, Brother Samuel, he was shoulder
-
his brother's burdens. He would fight the devil. He would be a missionary.
-
He would travel uncharted waters. He would naver came uncharted to reign and
-
territory in order to find her one sheeper. I'm gonna tell us Ranta,
-
when you got ninety nine barley fields, the wind got tools to fight for
-
one, it's cramer. They got ninety knife sheeper. But in God,
-
caser fight for water this cramping. They got seventy people when everybody's hold and
-
we got kanzi lack to night to fight for water and not to night.
-
You can top these corners. Hear it disturbish when you see the church pary.
-
That's nothing that's gonna be done. God, Oh, I'm a feeling
-
it. Brother Jacob stood up during the offertorium while Brother Jesse was playing that
-
song Praise the Lord. I heard the whole day go saying you might not
-
be feeling it right now, just stand with him, Just stand with a
-
pillar, Just stand with an elder. And I said, that's good enough
-
for me. If the captain needs to stand with Joe had if David got
-
down there in the field, what elia's are y'all just said, Hey,
-
if he is gonna stand and God is telling me to stand with him,
-
that's what's aren't done. And if he's the same guy that you read about
-
it and Nurst number ten, he is whose hand who will clean to the
-
swords of the same man, he is one whose hand will clean to the
-
sword. You know what they were feeling more than a triddling that locked that
-
grip, a partner half of the sword. They were feeling, holy ghost,
-
a naughty neon the lie. The holy ghost came and don wore a
-
kid. It's simply because her he knew one of the standing for he knew
-
who he was standing up there. And you gotta realize this is not a
-
box here. This is about that high and lucky wander in the high and
-
lofty plays something the laws of yesteryear. You gotta stand for Christianity. You
-
gotta stand for the trade. Elias Are was a mighty warrior. If you
-
see those that have got the Holy Ghost start slipping with that little boy,
-
harmers and screamed in his vama, it says, no, it's my way,
-
not your way. He's slipping. The Holy Ghost I got would never
-
do that. It would drive me on my knees and I would weep.
-
A crime play. And a grandmother's wheel never overrides the wheel of a father
-
or a mother. There is not two heads, there's not two hens in
-
the church. Being brother rold Cat never talking for position or power. Lasar
-
was not trying to be David, but he's known as a mighty man.
-
This chronicle and this catalog of all these body men did not take one take
-
away from them because they were not David. David said, I think God
-
for the thirty that body, and I think comp for the three night days.
-
Well, if I can't be as strong as pastor, if I can't
-
be in a position David's inn, if I can't be as strong as Irish
-
lind Wood, Charity Lynn Howell or Tammy Charlene Wood or Aaron Hush the Middle
-
Day Patrick Aaron Wood, Joseph, what you're just a what Nathaniel road cap.
-
Then I ain't gonna find my place what what I wanted to be set
-
on my empatamph he was a mighty man of God. The only way I
-
can achieve that and attain that, Mother Jesse is fighting the devil Tuesday nail
-
every single day, how the week. When the roof comes up, you
-
I typed the looper. You don't. That's a woman, Casper. And
-
when the philli stops taught up, still tip the barne peel that you don't
-
let him take up the harvest that God has given you. Mama, Da,
-
Grandma, Grandpa. We can see the devil attacking Theesa got the hole
-
of ghost. You can't stop Friday. The devil will to take it from
-
them. I'm gonna say this, you Holy Ghost, to young men and
-
the preachers. You will never holder at your mother. If you got the
-
Holy Ghost, I that you will never hit to override button with your mother,
-
holedge your mother. You will honor them with or without the Holy Ghost.
-
If you're a Christian, you will respect him with or without the Holy
-
Ghost. If you're a Christian, you will honor that you will be subject
-
to the higher powers, for the powers that be are or Dame, look
-
God, and you found here to Elia's arm, was just glad to see
-
David come to the throne. That's what it said right there. David was
-
great. I said, David was great, and these people were gonna see
-
time that he got to work cloud. Let's take it out. These men
-
were courageous, not cowards. Peter done some things that were inappropriate, and
-
the Bible said to the Paul came into the presence of Peter, and he
-
withstood him to the face, for he was to be blamed because on one
-
Saturday, he's acting like everything's okay to be feasting with the Gentiles and the
-
bacon eaters. But then when certain men developed men from Jerusalem come, then
-
he wants to act like he don't even know them. That's somebody resorting back
-
to him, that spirit that made him betray Christ and deny Christ when that
-
little maid spoke to him. You see, this is why we need the
-
Holy Ghost renewed week by week, day by day, because we find Peter
-
needed another upper room experiencing because he being hypocritical. And I know that my
-
brothers are feeling the pressure to compromise. I have had ten thousand devils try
-
to persuade me to compromise. I feel all that matter now if you can't
-
tell you know you gotta fight every compromise and deeming this content want I to
-
each other that stayed up to year in and year. As long as you
-
live, you're gonna be fighting down myself. I felt down on my soul.
-
You cannot get squaremus because it us gone. You see, Eliasar had
-
taken offensive many times because he was a mighty warrior, but he also was
-
not pasitantant and reluctant to take a defensive many times. I feel like here
-
tonight that people's faith is strong because of the goodness of God. Brother ej.
-
We are so unworthy of his goodness, so unworthy of his goodness,
-
But we can't take his goodness and his grace for granted. You can't stop
-
reading that Bible, you can't stop going to that prayer closet. Just because
-
you've been handed a promise does not mean you're gonna make it to the bank
-
to deposit. You've got to fight it. You've got to fight for it
-
day in and day out. You cannot be a coward. You have to
-
be courageous. Get the imagery here. If Elias are the Philistines are having
-
a seminar, if you would, they're gathering together corporately. They're unified in
-
their close knit group, and Lasar has to make up decision. Do I
-
go down here and get the middle of that. It's just like Jesus when
-
he went to the temple and he saw making merchandise, and they were selling
-
things, taking advantage of the people, and making sacrificial offerings an easy thing.
-
And Jesus come right in the middle of them hypocrites, right in the
-
middle of them religious leaders, and said, this is supposed to be the
-
house of prayer, but you've made it a den of devils. Who could
-
call his house and den of devils? But the mass to the house.
-
He was disappointed with what was going on. And I will never apologize for
-
us standing black booted and standing against immorality, and standing against homosexuality, and
-
standing against rebellion and stubbornness and our daughtry. I want to tell you grandparents
-
that you parents something. If you see your children stepping out of bounds,
-
it is short duty to rebuke him with love in the name of Jesus Christ
-
and let him know that that spirit can take back over them. The Bible
-
said that that devil would look and find a place that us that swept and
-
played, and he'll say, I want to get back there, and he'll
-
hire some more help and bring seven more in the condition to that man's going
-
to be a whole lot worse. If I holder than my mother, I
-
would feel so condemned. I'll be so scared, and I'm gonna get possessed
-
by seven spiritual dupens of hell preparing the stopping us. I'm telling you,
-
you gotta pick part weel tipping a screen or somebody. We didn't feel tipting
-
to think about that. We get peel timpted a compromise we didn't feel timpted
-
to pass up. I said, you gotta stand for solid Brown. I've
-
seen preachers before and getting right up to the police where they can preach against
-
something and name it. And they wouldn't dare do what I just done.
-
They wouldn't dare name said first riches, Chapter number six would have never been
-
on printed page. They would have never put a pin in department and named
-
all the things found there, All of those things that keep people from inheriting
-
the Kingdom of God. Now I'm feeling better and I'm done that he was
-
come by. I'm feeling better and I'm done, said Elia's art was.
-
He took an offensive and a defensive. So imagine him brother Nathaniel posting up
-
into barley Field, posting up here they are, it's gonna be a close
-
encounter. The martyrs of Yesteryear knew what it was like to have the breath
-
of the executioners that would be taking their life from them. That breath would
-
be upon their money. They knew what it was like to see the hands
-
of the executioners that would be putting a hand on a sword and severing their
-
head from the perso. Those men were courageous. They were not cowards.
-
The martyrs of Yesteryear refused to flee from the cause of Christianity, the cause
-
of Christianity. Are you fleeing from the cause? Are you standing strong in
-
adversity? Are you feigning in the day of adversity? A brother is born
-
for adversity. If I did not have the backbone to stand in this last
-
day against the spirits of compromise, and I was prone to compromise and change
-
some things and let up and ease up. I would find a David and
-
in Elia's are to post up against her and the proper against and that's what
-
the Bible said. They recognize that David was able to lead them, and
-
so they post it up next to David. All come, all, are
-
you getting this? I am not ashamed to be in a place where the
-
Holy Nurse post up at the bettle holding his church, and he stands strong
-
for holiness, righteousness, separations from the world. I'm to God. And
-
if I must die from Bette holdest church but what she stands for for Jesus,
-
then I must die. I repeat to abandon my assignment, to my
-
calling and my mission that I thought formed women boys and does many times for
-
many years. And I got their box up, with nobody else up would
-
get their box up, only receive kinda didn't find her were time to help
-
the other. But as home as I live, but I real help Jesus.
-
We don't worry my dagger in my bag. Let's stand right here.
-
There's yet to be seen. What you will do if you faint in the
-
day of adversity. Your strength is small. If when they tell a dirty
-
joke at the job. You laugh, turn red, snicker, and then
-
walk away. You need to learn how to step out, walk away,
-
and stand up and report it. You need to step up after you've stepped
-
out. You need to take risks on the front lines. I remember when
-
some of you quit being ashamed of standing for something. I remember when some
-
of you quit being a shame of standing for something. And certainly you take
-
risk on the front lines for standing for something. Anybody can fall for something.
-
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for everything. And I
-
want you to get this as brother Jesse comes to the piano. The risk
-
on the front lines are certainly high, but the rewards for those that take
-
the risk, Oh my god, I feel the Holy induls right there.
-
This was no minor skirmish. This was everybody in the break room against one
-
man, so to speak. This was everybody in the city marking one street
-
preacher. This is everybody in the church compromising versus one person saying we will
-
not compromise. Sometimes all we have to hold on to is the sword.
-
And I need more than adrenaline to help me hold on like you did tonight,
-
until I feel better. Brothers every mind. We can hold on until
-
our hand pleads to the sword and no man can pluck it out. You
-
can get ahold of these convictions that God has given you, and if brother
-
Hail drops dead in the bar you won't lose it before the year's end.
-
Because this battle that we're in called life, it is no minor skirmish.
-
There's a field full of barley. It's supposed to be ours. But if
-
you let the devil have it, you've lost everything. Let's bow our heads
-
right here. My final point that I want to his brother Roquat, there's
-
a lot of back row Christians. They never want to get on the front
-
lines. Here's what they do. They go to prayer meetings, they hide
-
in their prayer closets, and all of that's good, but they never get
-
on the front lines. Brother Caleb, remember this. They offered counsel,
-
they talk about things. They've been around the church for years, and here's
-
what they say. Let's pray that fire will fall out of heaven like it
-
did for Elijah, and then it will consume the opposition. In this case,
-
Brother Roquat, there was no lightning, won't striking from out of heaven.
-
It was a man and other soldiers that must fight themselves to night God's
-
hand and some of useful promises. The only way you're going to see them
-
come to fulfillment is continuing to fight. In my prayer closet today, I
-
felt like the somebody being easily offended, easily disgusted, getting nervous fate when
-
it comes time to fight, because there will be the sight of blood,
-
there will be casualties. People will fall, Brother Feeling. Preachers will fall
-
on our right, preachers will fall on our left. People we once had
-
confidence in will compromise. What are you going to do, young preachers,
-
when your peers that you've preached with here and there begin to compromise, You're
-
gonna get squirmish. It's a sacred feeling, brother Jay, when you stand
-
on a balcony and you realize God is telling you they're going to fall,
-
and your heart breaks. Brother Wallace was sharing with me a testimony of how
-
he knew the end result of certain people. He said to casualties will be
-
great, he said, I wept and I cried, but I wasn't willing
-
to sacrifice my family. I feel the Holy Ghost right here. If you
-
feel lad to pray right now. Would you come into this altar and pray
-
with me? Would you meet me this altar and say, I'm not going
-
to be a coward. I'm not going to get squirmers. Because of the
-
skirmish, I feel like I bet understand my ground. I feel like I
-
better fight for what is mine. God's blessed me with a good local church.
-
God's blessed me with a good family. God's bless me with a good
-
savior. God's bless me with a wonderful life. I realized that this is
-
no minor skirmish, and I realized the risk of me being on the front
-
lines when I'm gonna fight. I said, I'm gonna fight, Pastor.
-
You took taking took me, so somebody needs to tell the Lord. I'll
-
see what you're doing. You know, I'm gonna fight for it. It's
-
sad that the process took so long, but the day came and it's great.
-
Yeah, go ahead, and said shild Ludi, I be your favor.
-
I'm eating Martin. I'll be the first. I'll be ridicule, I'm
-

-

-
