Whirlpool or Whirlwind - Bro Jeremy Howell 8-16-2023

If you have your Bibles with you, will you turn with me to the

Book of Lamentations. May I direct your attention to the fifth chapter in the

twenty first verse, Brother Nathaniel second Chronicles, chapter number seven and verse number

fourteen. Brother Jesse second King's Chapter number two in verse number eleven. How

many of you are still feasting on those services that we had this past Sunday.

I want to say thank you to Brother Jeremiah Howell. We've seldom acknowledged

the fact that he has a sermon podcast where he faithfully, almost religiously broadcast

and posts the sermons from the Bethel Hole in his church. So many preachers

have contributed to that, and he has been so faithful in that calling and

that mission of service to provide a sermon library and audio sermon library for listeners.

From what he says, having seen statistics and received praise, reports and

testimonies both in the United States of America and some abroad. According to that,

we have worldwide of listeners and to listening audience is just tremendous. We

thank God for that. Some countries are listening deliberately and intentionally repeatedly. You

can tell they are feeding off of what Brother Jeremiah is serving them on the

line. I do appreciate that ministry. I appreciate Brother Jeremiah, appreciate all

of the preachers that have contributed and preach their hearts to this people. And

I'm just so thankful that the bethelho in his church has men and women with

a burden to share with others. How many of you like to share?

You're eating that bold in real mid Longhorn, how many of you want to

yes. So I appreciate Brother Jeremiah is sharing here again tonight. I guess

you are, Brother Jeremiah. You're nodding your head up and down, but

thank you, Brother Jeremiah. Also, it's good to see Sister Pambertulio here

tonight. Praise the Lord. Brother Gabriel and Sister Candice, and Brother Luther.

Y'all were sorely missed, and it's so good to see y'all back in

the house of the Lord. I too, am familiar with a longing that

develops in one's heart when they have been away from something they love. Or

someone they love so much. But I'm thankful, brother Gabriel, that you're

not trying to get away, but trying to get back into the house of

the Lord. But we pray that you had a wonderful vacation you and your

family. I preached a sermon years ago. Come apart or fall apart,

It's very important that we spend quality time with our family, and I can

think of no better place to spend quality time with them than in the House

of God. Could the church say he may well, Brother Nathaniel, if

you have found it, when you turn with us the Second Chronicles, chapter

number seven and verse number fourteen, and read it to this people, our

brother. If by people which are called by my name shall humble themselves,

then pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, Then

will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and will heal their

land. How many of you believe that this is God's word, both the

Old Testament and the New Testament. Did it not say that they must turn

from their wicked ways? Remember that word turn, Turn, Hold your hand

up, face the palm of your hand towards me. Bend your fingers slightly

and turn that dial. Turn to rotate something in a direction, one direction

or another. Turn. Brother Thomas Sterrett has in his possession a sign that

I've seen members of the Bethel Hole in his church holding. While doing street

ministry every Saturday, a lot of times somebody is holding a sign that says

turn or burn. So remember that word a turn. Also the commandment there

is turn from your wicked ways. Notice it's conditional that that person must make

a break, turn from something unto something else. Brother Jesse's Second King's chapter

number two and verse number eleven. And it came to pass as they still

went on and talked that Behold there appeared to chariot of fire and horses of

fire, and part of the emotussunder, and Elijah went up by a whirling

into heaven. Hold the palm of the hand up facing me again. And

Elijah went up by a world wind rotate. We whirldwin, a whirldwin.

Let's see how the whole it goes ties all of this in together. Let's

stand for the reading of our Golden text Lamentations, chapter number five and verse

number twenty one. The Bible said, turn out us unto thee old Lord

and we shall be turned. Butter, be careful what you ask for.

I used to be so excited on Sunday morning about going to church.

I'm still very excited about going to church. But when I was a little

boy, I get so excited to go to go out the door. And

I feel this really petit small hand. They say, my hands look a

lot like my mother's hands. I'd feel this a little hen get under my

chin, and brother eja. She would turn my head around and she'd look

at the part on my hair. And sometimes she'd wet her old thomb with

her tongue and fix a cow lick on my head. And man, I'm

telling you why I love you. If you hear this. But I would

smell her breath. I knew she had busted her teeth. She was a

clean woman, but i'd smell that. I thought. I wish she'd quit

turning my head. She'd make me look at her. She'd turned my head

towards her. So let's read this again. Turn thou us unto thee old

Lord, and we shall be turned. She would turn my head for an

inspection. Turn thou us unto thee old Lord, and we shall be turned

renew our day's ass of old. Can we pray, Heavenly Father, we

love and we praise you. We thank you for the opportunity to be in

the house of the Lord. I'm thankful for the testimonies that we heard,

exhortations, admonishments. Oh, God, has been food for our soul.

I pray that you would anoint this thy servant set of God in my mouth

and help me to say the things that you would have me to say,

nothing more or less. Anoint tears of this not people, that they might

hear what the spirits say at the church and through this word of God,

this preach word of God. I pray God, let these sails go below

the shoulders, help of God to receive it in their heart and mind and

spirits. I pray that we would love you with everything that is within us,

including to love your word. Help us to not be here as only

but doers. And may we depart this place joyfully and none sorrowfully. In

Jesus name. Amen. As you're being seated, ask your neighbor, Hey,

preach a message that the Holy ghost. Title Rural Pools and Whirlwinds our text

has found in an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible. The title this

book of the Bible is Lamentations. As anyone present to not ever heard the

loud cries of those who are lamenting. Unfortunately, as a pastor, and

even as a preacher, before I became a pastor, I had the responsibility

of officiating funeral services. And I know what it is to experience people lamenting,

and to be green and so sorrowful, to have my spirit grown because

I watch children and parents and kin people more in the laws of someone that

was so special to them. Brother Tyler, it is an awesome thing to

be in the presence of somebody that is truly lamenting, somebody that loves somebody

greatly and they love that person, and because of the separates of the love

between those twain people, we find that person lamenting. And all how it

stirs our hearts and it causes us great pain. If we have a heart,

that is, if we have a gizzard, we probably are insincsative and

we don't feel that. But the author of this book of Lamentations is Jeremiah,

and Jeremiah is known as the weep and prophet, and undoubtedly this man

was full of sorrow, a man of constant sorrow. If you study the

life and the ministerial years of this prophet Jeremiah, you will see this as

a man that even at times felt overwhelmed because of the sinful condition of this

city of Jerusalem and of the nation of Israel. He would be disturbed about

what was going on within the land of Judah. We find that this man,

Jeremiah would see stop day nor night to pray, asking God to sit

a revival amongst his people and for God to turn them from their wicked ways.

If you would, he would request of God to turn their heads from

the focus of this world and make them focus again on the things that really

mattered, such as serving Jehovah, God or Yah. Way, you could

tell that Jeremiah is a man that is very passionate and further and spirit This

is a man that's going to use the voice that God has given him to

proclaim and preach the truth that God has put in his heart. In fact,

there would be times that Jeremiah would become discouraged because of the lack of

reception of what he had to say. People simply did not want to hear

what Jeremiah said God had given him to say unto them. And there were

times that Jeremiah said that shit, I'm folding up the note book, I've

put the part eachment away and throwing the pin away. I'm not gonna speak

anymore in the Lord's name, because every time that I speak in the Lord's

name, they have this feeling that I have put myself above them. They

have this feeling that who does he think he is? Who lifted him up

and who elevated him and put him at such a position that he could preach

to me and look down upon me and point me in the direction of my

sin and tell me that I'm on a spiraling, spiraling slope. I'm just

going downward. Who is this man to preach to me? He was the

prophet, the preacher, the one that had been specially specifically chosen by God

to preach to God's people. These are supposed to be God's people. They're

supposed to be willing to hear what thus saith the Lord. They're supposed to

have an appetite to hear from God. They're supposed to be crave mean to

hear somebody speak unto them what God desires to say unto them. But instead

we find this propt saying I would speak in the name of the Lord,

and I would get discouraged because nobody wanted to hear what I had to say.

And I would decide if gainst preaching anymore. But his way would be

in my heart like a power shut up in my balls. And I'm too

weary but not preaching. I can't hold back. There's no way I cannot

preaching us. The same thing that Apostle Paul declared wanted to me. If

I preach not to Gospel and preach it, I want to encourage you to

preach without regards, without fear or faith for her. Do not look for

the applause, the approval, and the affirmation of humanity and mankind. Just

be inst to end season and out of season, preaching the Word, whether

they like it or not. Even a hair left's grandma. If you're preaching

what thus said the Word of God, you have nothing to feel condemned about.

There's nothing to be ashamed about. But you might find yourself weeping over

the fact that they would not receive it. If we find that this property

of Minah here pins five chapters that take this book of limitations and comprise this

book of limitation. And whether Nathaniel he's speaking after having wept, and he's

lamented about the box sliding people, people that would watch a group of believers,

people that believe in Jehovah, people that sawt childra as their provider,

people that salt rapper as their healer. And this is a body of believers,

if you would. It's not a group of infidels. It's not supposed

to be a nation that is forsaken God and being turned into hell. This

is supposed to be that people of God. And we see that this propert

is weeping because these people that are named by the name of God, they

call themselves believes. They call themselves the OUs three, the descendants of Abraham,

Isaac and Jacob and children are the most type of God. And those

of you that know the national history of Israel, you will know that there

would come times that they would have to repent in order to be restored into

a good functional relationship with Jehovah or yard Way. And we find here that

these people had backslid various times throughout the nation of Israel's history, they would

backslide, they would repent them and come back to God. Those of you

that know the history of the bethl Holiness Church knows that we have never experienced

losing the entire church family to the world or to the ever or the sin.

I am so thankful that I've never had to walk into my office and

collapse in the floor and say, God, I lost every member on the

Bethel Holiness Church since we because they loved the world where they obeyed the lust

of the pleasure and they fell for the prod of life. Other have stidn't

be or jealousy or not as a bitterness. Catil Oh. No, I've

never had to weep over the total annihilation and destruction of the Bethel Holiness Church.

And Jeremiah couldnot say this, and he is weeping over an entire loss

of what was the people of God, and the people of God was his

people, God, Nathaniel, we find that in the Bethel Church history there's

been times that we have lost one or two or maybe even a family,

and we have mourned over that loss. Better, Chase did not know what

I was going to preach old tonight, but he said what can be done

in order to get the box slider to turn around? I sit over there

And how many of you know that God can put to hook in the

time with most Americans say that the United States of America is no longer a

Christian nation. Why is this? Because the Bible propheside that never come times

and in every nation, dominion, and kingdom, when there would be great

to falling away, we find a chair of our witness to a great falling

away, a great removal of people that lived in the Promised Land, the

great destruction of the literal house of Cod and do it away within the city

and other peace and sister, we'd buy a grace of Cod the BeCl Holiness

Church and is still here, powerfuls and steal across the street. The building

when the people that refused to hear the word of God ms America that they

revival. That then I believe that that God to turn this country around.

I don't play of a service we preach in and every message that we deliver

in order to encourage people to pursue and pray for revival. There's gonna be

that person with ampathy and lethargic person, brother Jesse, that just says,

what's the use. It's been proposide that this would happen. It's been proclaimed

that before Jesus comes back, this will happen. Everybody's gonna backslide. The

rights should scarcely be saved, which others the sinner and uncodly appear, and

pretty soon it's just doom and gloom, and nobody believes anybody can be turned

around. Nobody believes the backslider's got anything to come home to. Everybody feels

like the backslide in their heart. And come on, the great commission was

given to us. Come on to be active and actively pursuing the sinner until

the return of Christ. I see this in Jeremiah. I see this in

Noah. I see this and most of these feeders, these men were pushing

for the deliverance of the people up until the last my minute before the turret

close. So there's a cernity to be preacher, there's a sinner to be

reached for. What are you talking about, Preacher, You just hain't tight.

We'll get there in a minute, but I'll take for the night.

And about five or six months ago God reached her into this building to put

his hand, put some young mind, and your woden had turned ahead,

and he turned the heart. He put their focus back up on the Bible.

O. Yes, sir, in the midst of a great fall in

any cat said he saved the body. He filled them with the Holy Ghost.

They walked on down at the rail point. They don't hope they're got

in there along with jentermis weeping up to the last minute. He's praying up

to the last minute. He's proclaimed, y'all think about this, How did

you here in my field? After seeing the destruction and the desolation of such

a beautiful place? I cannot relate? Thank God for his mercy. Thank

God that I didn't pull up tonight and see that Russia or China had bombed

our church and we had no place together. Thank God that I did not

pull up tonight and see that the devil had laid waste to this place or

house or worship because the people's disobedience. No, they were obedient together,

and not for sake of the assuming of themselves together. They were obedient and

keeping God the commandments of God. They were obedient and turning away from the

world and turning unto God. Or come on, now, these people had

been warned bout you to Maiah. You know how long he had warned them

of what was coming? For forty years since the hell. He had warned

them that they would be carried away in the captivity under city destroyed. That's

a long time to preacher to include. Oh yes, after that, many

decades of preaching, four decades of preaching and team and gloom and every now

and then killing somebody's liver. But Hope had l flight of mercy. He's

preached like this, and let you know what, with the road cap it.

He was not the only messenger to preacher to gods people. The very

thing that cheered my let's preaching. His contemporary say, we're preaching the same

time. They were speaking as the oracles of God. They were speaking as

the mouthpieces said of God. But those old preachers me and would not the

older warncher they had preached it. I want you to know that Jeremiah was

simply echoing the words of a man of cordment that was there when they found

fulfillment with the promised land. His name was Joshua. Joshua had warned them

eight hundred years fire, and they're down. Came with deed when they begin

to result to rely upon their own feelings, and when they would rely on

that on their own way, when there were two days as right in their

own lives. To this case, that is fucked. The result to but

just a bad decision. Only in this case it's the judgment of God.

Listen. With God knocks the domino's over, you can rest ashore. There

won't be one dominare still standing. They ever conticides the deed, and when

he goes to do it, he will do it perfect judgment. Every disobedient

person will not be left standing. Every goat will not be left unturned.

The Lord will turn some goats and some unruly and disobedient people, some transgressors

that are looking to go where the lambs are going, and he will turn

their heaven and say you got to go over there. How many of you

remember there was a time in American history when the schools and public facilities audited

segregation. The black people would in one direction and the white people would in

another. The blacks and rights did not cohabitate. But the Jesse they did

not mix some mingle in the secular school system. They didn't mix some mingle

in the church. They just simply were segregated. They didn't drink out of

the same water fountain. I met a World War two better in midday.

He said the same thing my grand daddy said. The black person drink out

of the water parla designated with the black person, and the white person drink

out of a water pount designated designated for a white person to drink out of.

What are you talking about right here, pastor? I'm telling you this

nation has come to the truth in a lot of ways. This nation has

improved in a lot of ways. But even though there's been some improvement,

we have also lost some critical ground that people fought for. Not only this

sort of that we thank God for that we tread under foot, sometimes thatefully

and sometimes unthankfully. We don't realize that America was founding, our founding fathers,

that love of people, that loved God, that loves liberty, that

loves sing the freedoms and liberty, so all that we take that for granted,

that we disregard the treat that being lack. Josh will and cheer in

my own that come on. A media preacher and the founding fathers said,

until now has told that America that whatever happened to jerusman, that he can

happen to America. Whatever happened to China can happen to America. We come

deceived that we believe that that we cannot fall old. Yes, America,

into a third world country, shall be turned into a country where nobody owns

These people were worn. There's holiness of Pentecostal churches all throughout the world,

in every state of these United States that I know of There are proclaimers of

the truth, and there are members and seekers of the truth, and they

speak as the mouthpiece of God, and they live as examples of this living

word of God. I am not the only voice that has been heralding the

truth. Jeremiah was simply echoing what Joshua had said. And Joshua was repeating

what Jehovah had said. And I want to tell our young preachers something.

You will preach other the same message of repentance that's trying to Baptist's message.

You will preach other the same message repent that child, the Baptist preacher that

was the greatest preacher of all, that when you will not be preaching at

all, you can give a treach tich. You can preach it from only

sermon that you can give it this sermon title. But if you do not

preacher, if people's not to turn it, but they won't turn, that

you are not preaching at all. How feel the Holy custup in this house?

How go it's time to be glass. I go, It's time to

receive the promise Chousa was said. He but you better remember if there ever

comes a time of the day when you weren't fearful I the living God.

It's such a way that you carelessly great because because I'm not taking you want

to lose it. I don't want to be dourny going old here. But

in this case, this is judgment, perfect judgment. Not one stone left

unturn, not one name for, not one person that hasn't been expected and

evaluated, not one person that hasn't been scrutinis, not one person that hasn't

been analyzed. I feel the Holy Ghost Joshua was said in Joshua twenty three

sixteen. When ye have transgressed the commandment of the Lord, your god,

which he commanded you, and have gone has served other gods and boulge herself

to them. Then the anger of the lords I be killing on against you,

and ye parents quickly from off the good land which he has killn you.

Now we preached this past Sunday night, and we shouted about the inheritance

on the eleven tribes and how the lines of their boundaries failed in pleasant places.

So we talked about them, the other tribe that had the Lord as

their inheritance. But here Joshua was warning them. After the prior verse,

I promise see them wonderful things. He said, God can remove you from

that killing land, that land and for a time when milk and honey got

to remove you, pull out place something little preacher, preachers who do the

annoyance, that God can remove you from the place something to him, remove

you to a land when you were spirits family for the first time. Can

you pine away for something to eat? I'm telling you what. God can

turn you from the plassic in a moment. Tell Joshua was said, he

could do it quickly, quickly. He shall perish quickly from off of the

land which he has given you. He's given it to us. It's our

inheritance. We should not take it lightly. In that verse, Joshua was

concerned, is these people know what has been given to them. He knows

these people's potential potential in order to be blessed of God and to receive of

God. But also he knows something called original sin. He knows the aandemic

and nature of a man kind or humanity. He knows that man can get

quickly deceived. He knows that because of what happened to Mother Eve. He

knows that man can be manipulated. He knows that man can be outcunned and

outwitted if they do not rely upon the Lord. And soon after this,

brother Nathaniel, he knows that when they have been turned away from the Lord,

they will be turned unto other gods, and they will begin to do

a soloman none. They will bow o be sins to other gods, and

then they will tread on a slippery swamp. Will come on, now,

it's what I felt like, Doctor on me. Then they will tread on

a slippery slope, and then they will tumble, and as they fall,

the fault itself will be perpetual. It will never be wherever they say I

fell until I hit rock bottom. That's what God spoken in my heart.

It will be a perpetual tumbling. It will be a perpetual down with spiral,

a downra spiral that leads up to destruction. If you take that,

you want to write that down a person before you turned that, or wry

from the house and cod before you turn that way from the person book and

the people are tired, remember that personal hod will say it that tout said.

It will be a countless spiral that leads up to eternal downation and destruction.

Is anybody here tonight knowing example within nature of an airless spiral. If

you listen to my child on that, you know what it is. It's

There is no escape for that thing, whether object or person. There

is no hope of escape for that object or that person that gets called in

the world pool, whether the rule. It makes me think of the New

Testament scriptures that God will send strong delusion. You know why they can't know

the truth and be set free and liberate it because they believe the lie and

they work down. You better be careful who's turning your head. You better

be careful what all you're turning. You better be careful what freturn you turn

it to. You better be careful what the fing you visited? Or come

on now slid it? He looked out because you know and he's sorrow,

young man, a simple man turning into a place, and he should watch

it and visited that. I feel the hole it goes to get in this

house. I'm talking about that world pull. Better time to stare at You

know what happens when somebody else, something gets caught to in the world pull.

They need somebody on an out and sucking it is outside it for the

world pulls to rescue there. That is their only handfu about there. He

gon be a swallow. That's the only handfuck rescue in this station. When

I turn to God that is America, you'll humble hers so out and turned

from our waking days. If our children, if our mobs and touch,

we'll reach up out of the whirlpool, asked Peter. You might be going

down, hey, but if you'll reach up, if you reach up,

you can't reach down. You gotta reach up to that reaching down hand.

The whirlpools. In that world pool, there's all sorts of debris. There's

all kinds of filth. We took brother Philip out on the boat and visited

some private beaches and some really cool islands, and we got out there and

where nobody else was, and it was though as though we own our own

private beaches, our own private land, and brother gave it. There was

one place where we got in we could tell the current was really strong,

and I told him, I said, riptide is a real thing. And

I looked at one of my sons and I said, you probably just about

to the point of where that current is, and if you go any further,

you can be called up in that in a moment. And Brother Nathaniel,

we wouldn't have had time to get to the boat. We would have

tried, and maybe he would have known him the proper way of going with

the riptide and swimming towards the shore. But Brother Jesse, I'm not preaching

on a riptide here tonight. I'm not talking about somebody kind of moving outward

but get parallel with the shore. I'm talking about somebody that's already got called

up and you're spinning and spiraling out of control. Oh come on now,

I don't want to preach dum and gloom, but I come on, Mama,

you know that Veglan, when you saw your son get caught up in

bad you were making his bed. I have happened here. But if your

parents don't get a hold of God, we could be dead in Golden y'all

could be dealing with this. It's a very difficult thing for a mother to

go in a room and find some sort of surren rap and see some green

leafy substance and residue on that surrend wrapper, and they're realize, my son

is trucking. Now you talk about going from being rock steady that mother,

I guess stuff you knock, her head is swimming. Okay. Oh,

now you can see that look in a young person's eyes when you visit the

can't eat it and you can tell they're not in this service. So they're

prom dizzy like dizzy demas they do so be asy focus on. Oh hold

no, lad, they can't see straight. They're so truck hold the wall,

they can't make straight. Hey, I'm preaching to somebody here in the

knock. Hey, you're not in a riptide, you're in a lawyer with

you're in a laypool. Then I want you to go. They won't get

it live down and they're everlasting. Told me you'll feel it. You know

you're there the cross up and you're saying, hell, I cut out hello.

That's what happened to those the fall against Moses. The Bible said the

ground opened up and swallowed them alive. Brother Philip. When they speak of

opening up, it almost seemed to me like to open something, it had

to generate it, like when you see it an hour glass flipped over.

You had to have seen sand and trees and grass and shrubbery and people disappeared.

Are y'all listening to me? I see it going on as spiritual whirlpools

taking place. People no longer want to believe the Bible literally, people no

longer want to keep his commandments. They wonder what's happening in this country while

we have all of these mass shootings. Why is all of this going on

in the school system? They're being swallowed alive. Can somebody hear their cries?

Can somebody reach the hand to them and rescue them? Cause somebody thrown

them alive? Like can somebody throw them a scripture verse? Cause somebody preach

to them? Come on now, Jesus and his word will always be outside

other downward spiral. I'm preaching on the whirlpool or a whirlwind? What is

it? You're caught up here? Now? About five months ago we had

a revival, and I can tell you I who looked at the heels of

people that were once up. They come on standing on the earth, so

to speaker and motionless, expressionless, but now you can tell they've been lifted

up and swept up off their pizza in the high places. The Bible said

blessed that we can see it. They saw that preacher, preacher, they

heard the words of that preacher, and they also saw the chastening God of

is following you, and Elishah listen to me. If you are not going

in the right direction, you are not going to end up in the same

place that Elijah ended up here, because if Elishah had a said, you

got to the place they were walking away from God. Then they're running from

God. But then came the fall, Then came the stumble. The man

but God Almighty is gonna cut you down. I want you to know you

world. Pull the ground will begin to move under your feet. The Bible

so I walked in. To be honest with you, I went to the

farthest corner because I didn't know what that meant. And I tried to talk

back under the TV in the corner to Hannah, and he immediately got up.

Am I telling a lie or nothing? And I had told him and

said, he's watching, and it's all happened in less than two seconds.

We walked right in the door went down. As soon as I sat down,

he popped up, hobbled over there. Brother Jesse, he humbled right

over there, and he was cutting up with Hannah Coles. Sister hanwell goes

one way. I go one way, trying to hide, and Sister Hannah,

she's right there. You can't hide in front of thirty people. She

knew better. I just got the NC and he says, well, I

tell your marriages on the rocks. He's laughing. He said, no,

I'm a minister of the gospel. And then while he was talking, he

said you're a Christian, aren't you? And uh, I said yeah,

I'm a Christian. He says, so am I I'm a preacher. But

what caught my attention was World War two vett. I jumped up out of

my seat. He had sit down on one chair away from it, got

right beside him. I went to shape down on ninety six year old gentleman's

hand, and he gave me the fist bump instead, and I said,

well, that's all right. And then across from him was this man paralyzed

on his left side. And when he heard me say you're a World War

two vet, that man jumped up. Im I tell it right, Hannah,

and humbled over there to that World War two vet, and he said,

man, I'm honored just to be able to meet a World War two

veteran. I mean the atmosphere was electrified and charged immediately, and that World

War two veteran, he said, pretty much he knew I was a soldier

of the Cross, Brother Samuel, now that you've got the holy ghost.

He went into Arby's over there just a couple weeks ago for jury duty.

He went in there to eat breakfast. He said, this old gentleman jumped

up and walked over there and said, you're a preacher, hl Brother sam

I said, I had never heard that life only been preaching four or five

months. People knew a soldier, wouldn't they see one? And sister Hammon,

there was one coming like us at another soldier. We didn't know it.

And he said, sir, it's so good to meet you. I

am honored. And then he returned to his seat. Sit down, and

the old World War two better than myself. We knew a soldier when we

saw one, and he and he said what war did you serve him?

He said, desert storm, sir, And he said where did you serve

it? Specifically? He told us he tilted his head down. He had

a big head wound right here on this side of his head, didn't he,

Sister Hannah, And he said, as as old a fight for this

country. He said, I paralyzed to this day on my left side.

And brother Jessee, the air got electrified and charged again. And I'll sit

thank you for your service, sir. And I'm telling you those guys just

talked again and turned out they were both preachers. They both loved the Bible.

I told her sister, how, I said, Ben I love to

hang out with him guys about once a month and hear them tell their stories.

The brother road cap. They were fascinated with me. I was fascinated

with him. There was something about these men that fascinated me. And I

got confirmation of something I've said over the years and said, it's recently a

out of my seat and I said, could mister Desert Storm, I said,

sir, you are rocked. I just told my church now and the

old man, he's not a six years old sitting there, look pretty good.

He said in a sid boys, we fought to win. Now,

we didn't fight to leave our life. Now, come on down. They

as people gonna go down there when the ship it'll run a pool that I

was talking about, Americ man go down, but there's gonna be some people

go up. I said, I'm not going it down. Look put this

ship, I'm not going it down. Git along, I said. Those

two soldiers spoke, They spoke confidently of what they fought for. Mister Desert

Storm said, look right here, look right here, mister world War two,

look right here, pastor how he said on this application that I'm feeling

out right here. He said there asking for mister and misresss Hey, praise

God, he said, it ain't it? It ain't if what it is

and hate sister. How there was liberals all around. What the sister had

them. I didn't cringe a bit, they didn't clinch a bit. Then

he started talking about the liberals trying to destroy our country. Hey, come

on, now, nobody did others going down to the world pool assist pool

wanting to believe that he's faded. Neither one of them men wanted to say

old glory tattered and ripped. So I thought that that ninety six year old

man could just get his strength back. The Jeremiah thought, if I could

just preach again, I'd do it all over another forty years. Joshua was

a military genius, a great general, and he had said, the nation

that begins to forget what God told him to do, you'll lose it all.

It ain't to this nation doesn't have fighters, and chance is that this

nation is refusing to use the voice. But brother Jesse, even though that

man had the battle scar, and the battle warner says to how you talked

about tonight the scars. There was more fighting him than I wanted them illegal

Americans that were around us, and look at at them like they were crazy.

And I knew right then, brother Tyler, even right now, if

I had to fight the war, I'd take a ninety six year old room

and a cripples vetters. I'm a feeling to appreciate our peers can decide to

compromise and start preaching the truth, and we might seeing nothing but a hand

go down in the whirlpoole. But brother Samuel, we all remember this,

young preachers. We don't have to go down with them. We're going up.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and

pray and seek my face, and turn from there with your ways, then

land. Notice what he said, If people which are called by my name,

they proclaim and profess to be the people of God. But this is

what I want you to know. It takes more than the name of America.

It takes more than the name of Christian. It takes more than a

name which are called by my name. It's true, whether steriisgeneration must turn

or burn. Notice they don't need to turn, only they need to return.

According to our scripture, they need to return, and they're asking that

they be restored as in the days of olds to how these are people that

know the walk, These are people that know the talk. Two points I

want to leave with you. They need to return so they can be renewed.

back to the old days, the old ways. I still like the old

people that have organized a celebration team. And he said, if you're crippled

and disabled, they will give you guides and guardians that are also soldiers or

veterans. And said, if you're disabled a cripple, they will carry you

if they have to, they will will you in a wheelchair. And he

said they will have a wonderful celebration specifically for you. I saw that one

of the veteran, whether jere Mind, he was as tough as nails.

I saw a tear rolled out the son of his face and I said,

do you know what, there's a soldiers crippled to this day. He's not

a shame, he's not embarrassed. And get this, he ain't sorry,

But even though they haven't honored him properly, he's still scarred, and he's

still fought from people that dishonored him, And that Jesus is scarred forever neil

scarred hands. But he's going to celebrate us. Where we go home,

the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shall the voice of the archangel,

the Holy Ghost is in this place here tonight in a mighty way.

Sun's gonna go by the whirlpool beyond the earth to booze, to meet defeat.

But some of us are gonna go past that blue sky. Brother Philip,

he said at some point in that honor flight, he said, they

get big hoses, get big fire trunks, takers, and get big hoses,

and he said they just start spraying that aircraft or water, showering them

with blessings and crippled and disabled old soldiers being properly celebrated and appreciated. There
