With me to the Book of Psalm Bad direct her attention to the fiftieth chapter
-
in the fifteenth verse. It is so good to see each and every one
-
of you in the House of the Lord during this midweek service Wednesday night.
-
No other place I'd rather be than in the House of the Lord. Again,
-
there is no other place I'd rather be than to be in the House
-
of the Lord with brothers and sisters of life, precious faith, people that
-
believe that He truly is the son of the Living God. And I'm glad
-
you're here tonight, each and every one of you home folks, visitors,
-
alife. I'm glad each and every one of you have chosen to worship with
-
us here at the Bethel holding Us Church. We do miss Brother Philip and
-
Sister Elizabeth. Our newly weds are doing great. They're enjoying each other's company.
-
During their wedding ceremony, I kept putting an emphasis on life with your
-
wife, and they're doing just that. They ate at one of those fancy
-
steakhouses last night. Brother Jesse, he's always warned to eat in one of
-
them top dollar steakhouses, and he found one in Seattle, Washington, and
-
it looked like you could cut that steak with a fork, Brother Nathaniel,
-
similar to that steak you and I had just a couple of nights ago.
-
Isn't God good? He is so good. We thank the Lord for him
-
helping our newly weds. And you will, Brother Nathaniel, which you've turned
-
with us to the Book of Acts, chapter number seven, you will be
-
reading verses numbers fifty eight through sixty, Brother Jesse, Genesis chapter number three
-
and verse number nine. The seating arrangement throws me off a little bit,
-
just like it has you. Walk the way they have done the pews looks
-
so good to me. We went from three rows to two rows. There's
-
certainly a lot more rude in our eyes now for you to just get out
-
and praise the Lord and to worship him and have a good time the Lord.
-
I don't know if we'll return it back to its original state where we
-
had three rows or not. I don't know. We're looking at it trying
-
to get a feel for it. But I will tell you this, it
-
has not thrown you off anymore than it throws me off right now. Having
-
to preach to you all. There's usually between sixty to seventy of y'all and
-
every one of you seeming they're in a different seat and a different geographic location
-
in this building, and it is just messing with my mind. But I'm
-
glad you're here. When I look at a certain pew for a certain person,
-
they're gone. I used to look at the second pew on the left
-
side and see brother Jesse. He's over here at my extreme left in a
-
Kentucky Kentucky style amen corner. I'm not used to having wingmen on my left
-
and on my right. I'm used to looking back there on the third peol
-
in the right seeing brother Samuel. Now he's to my extreme or severe right
-
over here. It's good. I like this. We'll just see how it
-
goes in the upcoming days. We may go back to how it was once
-
laid out. Brother Nathaniel Acts, Chapter number seven, Verses number fifty eight
-
through sixty. Will you read that, please, sir? And cast him
-
out of the city and stalled him, and the witnesses laid down their clothes
-
at a young man's feet whose name was Sault, and they stole Stephen,
-
calling upon God and saying, Lord Jesus received by spirit, and he kneeled
-
down and cried with a loud voice. Lord made this sin not to their
-
charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. He fell
-
asleep. In other words, he passed away because Stephen had been stoned by
-
Saul, the very salt that would later become the great Apostle. Paul,
-
one of the great leaders of the New Testament Church in its infancy, want
-
to preach to you a message the Holy Ghost has titled Emerging in My Emergency.
-
Emerging in My Emergency. We'll get to it later on. But certainly
-
Stephen arose up and out of that pile of stones that they had left him
-
under, and he evacuated their presence and went into the very presence of the
-
Lord, emerging in my emergency, Brother Jesse, Genesis chapter number three and
-
verse number nine. And the Lord God called unto Adam and said up to
-
him, where art thou. I wish that everybody could have heard sister Howell's
-
testimony. She had no idea what I would be preaching on tonight. But
-
I will be putting special emphasis on calling upon the Lord. And before I
-
get into that of us, calling upon the name of the Lord, or
-
calling upon the Lord you will see that my emphasis will be He's calling unto
-
us. Let's read our text. Could we stand for the reading of our
-
text again, directing your attention to the fiftieth chapter of the Book of Psalm.
-
In the fifteenth verse, the Bible says, and call upon me in
-
the day of trouble, I will deliver thee and thou shalt glorify me,
-
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the opportunity to be in the house of
-
the Lord. A sister said, we treasure and go presence. Lord.
-
She said she was ironing her grandson's clothes. She felt your presence come by
-
as you visited her in a special way. As sister Howell testified, Lord
-
about us calling unto you, and you calling unto us, and that we
-
be careful to answer your call and be receptive. Lord of sister Hemon was
-
saying, this young man today that she witnessed to was receptive. I pray
-
that you would help us to receive this word. And on this thy servant
-
said, of God, of my mouth, and help me to say only
-
the things that you would have me to say, nothing more less. And
-
north to years of this people, that they might hear what it is to
-
spirits say it under this church, through this preach word, not through my
-
words, Lord, but through Thy words, Lord, thy word, the
-
blessing Holy Bible. Lord. It's not by my nor by power, nor
-
by our spirit, but it's by your spirit. We pray that you would
-
help us to not be hearers only, but to heed these truths. May
-
these sayings go below the sholders and get in our heart mind, spirit,
-
we pray, And may we depart this place joyfully and not sorrowtly. In
-
Jesus's name. Amen, as you're being seated, look at your neighbor and
-
say, hey, neighbor, are you going to just lay there? Or
-
are you going to get up? Emerging in my emergency. Our text is
-
found in an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible, the Book of Psalm.
-
In recent weeks we have been delving into this particular book of the Bible
-
together during our regular services on some Sunday services and on some midweek services.
-
Being a Wednesday night service, Tonight is a Wednesday night service, and we
-
won't be looking at a particular song of David as we have done in recent
-
weeks. Know we will be looking at a particular verse in a song or
-
song written by Asap. As I was glancing through this book of the Bible,
-
I noticed the name of this author or songwriter. His name is Asap.
-
I was raised in church and I had heard the name Asaf many times,
-
but I never really heard anybody explain who this man was. They never
-
gave an explanation of this very significant character in the Bible. And in recent
-
years I have done some studies concerning this man Asaph, and I feel like
-
it would be very important that if every person in this building too in right
-
here to the preacher tonight and hears what is the spirits saying under this church.
-
This man Asaf was a man that was a very special person because he
-
belonged to the tribe of Levi. In fact, we find that this man
-
is a multi talented person. Concerning being a musical genius. He was probably
-
not second to David, but we find that he was submissive to the will
-
of David, which was his leader, the king of the nation of Israel.
-
We find that this man was one that knew that he needed to know
-
more about the Lord. As I read the book of Psalm and read through
-
the Book of Salmon at a glance, I noticed this Psalm chapter number fifty
-
was written by Asaf and brother Nathaniel. I believe that was the first time
-
as I was going through the Book of the Bible that I noticed of writing
-
by this author Asaf, and I began to think about, all of a
-
sudden, and this is really like songbook or this Hebrew songbook. There is
-
on printed page a song of this man Asapp that had an anointing that was
-
very special. In fact, as I begin to do a character study concerning
-
this man Asapp in his life, I realized that this man was highly anointed.
-
In fact, there were people that considered him to be a seer or
-
a prophet. I have heard people say that you do not need to have
-
the Holy Ghost in order to preach, and I know that there's a lot
-
of people that attempt to preach without the Holy Ghost. And it does not
-
matter how many times you say they should not do it. There's gonna be
-
people that attempt it, and there will be people that do it. There
-
will be some Brother Samuel that is just embarrassing to see them make a go
-
at it without being filled with the Holy Ghost, while there would be others
-
that in fact would be great orators, Brother Jesse, that possess oratorical or
-
bill and skill second to no one. But sometimes the words that they speak
-
just fall off of people's back like water off a duck's back. It seems
-
like the words just are not effective. It seems like the words are not
-
important to those people at that time in their lives. Even though these men
-
speak with eloquence of speech and they seem to be learned and highly educated,
-
their words just do not minister to the spirit of people. But we find
-
that asaff if he had to have been a seer and people felt like he
-
could look into the portals of glory and see things that nobody else could see.
-
If he can understand things nobody else could understand, and he can put
-
pin in the parchment and write songs like this that the camp of Israel would
-
agree. This ought to be found in our song. But in fact,
-
this song is so good we've got to make sure we do not lose the
-
lyrics to this song. There are some songs that are written that we would
-
just be fine with the fact that they've been lost throughout history. We will
-
be just fine. At the song leader at the Methelhoness Church never chose to
-
lead us in song with that song again. But there are some songs when
-
the spirit of God gets to move it, or when we're going through a
-
hard time, three difficulties, trials and tribulations, a song like brother Jesse
-
saying tonight, I know the Master of the Wind. Brother Jesse did not
-
know what I would be preaching on tonight. But Brother Jesse received the baptism
-
of the Holy Ghost in the month of February of this year, and you
-
will see as I'm preaching just how tuned he was, in tune with the
-
mind of God for his service tonight. In fact, in that song I
-
Know the Master of the Wind a lyric when like this, my boat of
-
life sells on life's double scene. I want to talk to us a little
-
bit here tonight about calling on the Lord in our time of distress and trouble.
-
We find that a self must have been a man like job that was
-
familiar with trouble. The Bible said concerning Job, that his life was full
-
out of trouble. I feel like there's promised somebody in this building tonight that
-
can say, Preacher, I'm going through a tough season right now, and
-
you don't really know what I'm going through. I may not know what each
-
person in this building tonight is going through. But I know somebody the gods,
-
and I know a God that can speak to a preacher and let him
-
know if that preacher is filled with the Holy ghost, like the buying interference
-
and intercepting God to get that preacher right on horsa, and he can preach
-
a message with words and are big bespoken, like apples of gold and pictures
-
of silver. You can walk out of here carrying in your bosom and say,
-
concern him as a trust to me. You see, David had a
-
pointed this man a sample to be the sole leader as you look at this
-
man of God a sample. In First Cronicles, chapter number sixteen and first
-
of Before the Bible said speaking of Bavid, that he appointed certain other lebats
-
to minister before the Arca or the Lord and to record him. And I
-
think them praise the Lord God of Israel. Asaph the cheaper, and next
-
to him Zachariah and jay L and Samirah Blth and jay h M and n
-
Tatarah and Eliah had been a nayah and ob eat them and say with sul
-
treason and with hearts. Listen for a sample made a sound with symbols,
-
I said, a symper made of sound with symbols. There are men that
-
played continuing the poor the artcle where they're coming into the God. And a
-
sample has warned her. For there's me and the David appointed to see the
-
glory, say of the must hide God. After that, David brought es
-
the ark of God. God could do the land of Israel. David Putau
-
from the hands or the enemies for the people of todd Her. They're planning
-
and back where it belong. I tell you what the spirit and the God
-
belong the lands in the church. You won't buy me going to church where
-
the spirit of God and it's not present. You won't by me listening to
-
a creature or a soul leader. And I ain't sa who does not a
-
half but sol her heart. This man was not afraid to praise the Lord.
-
Come here, brother Jesse, find them dumb drumsticks. Our precious brother,
-
brother Philip is away on his wedding. What do you call that honeymoon?
-
And brother Jesse, he plays this set of drums often every service he's
-
here. He doesn't miss the service. Really, it's unusual for him not
-
to be here. But one of the things he plays is the symbols on
-
that drum set. Now, everybody knew that Philip's in the house hearing camp
-
meeting because they would hear him play on the symbols. Do you remember another
-
Somerset that praise him on the highest Sunday of symbols? And so when had
-
come up coming to the house of God, damon, how to put it?
-
There's somebody it's gonna offer, how I won't they part? There's somebody
-
there's gonna read the writers. They will Peter Asa who will pretenuely brings the
-
Lord. They offer psycrificans that takes dimer to our God. Thank your brother,
-
Jesse. So Asaf made a sound was symbols and j l he made
-
a sound with souchies and with the harps. David played the harp skillfully in
-
practice, playing was such that it would sue the spirit of soul, even
-
though it was being relentlessly tormented by the devil. The skill set and the
-
musical chiefs a name of manipulate demons and cause immortals soul to be sued.
-
Oh come home and a thing. You know what I'm talking about. I
-
feel like God has called up with a trumpet. He is cunning many times
-
to rock the asus and God steal expresses people to make a loud mons,
-
a praise to be what Because He is the God and been minters. I
-
say, out of our plenities, out about of the botis, out about
-
predicaments, they're no troubles. You let somebody give you a million dollars,
-
You'll sing their song. You'll write their name and your folder. You'll about
-
their name in the back of your book. You'll write the name their name
-
of that person in the back of your Bible. If you're not careful,
-
you'll come to church playing the loud selling of symbols in your hearts. You're
-
taking them from what they've done and not taking God for his goodness. You
-
know why that person failt men to help you because God cot in the mix.
-
Do you know why they've done that favor for you that you were not
-
expecting? Because God he saw it when you checked in, He heard you,
-
and you call that ain't something understanding of this? The reason why I
-
played the symbols is because he knows that I'm not an appearance when I check
-
in with God truth. Every person checks in in this libry and you check
-
out. But what matters he is? Do you check you in? Look
-
count on a daily basis? He said, This man played continuously before the
-
ark of the Covenant of God. Why should they play continuous before the ark
-
of the Covenant of God? Because the spirit of God chose to reside there.
-
Was it not a box built by the hands of mortals. That's coming
-
to me. You shared that with me, brother Nathaniel. But when God
-
took possession, it became a house of God. Detract, your mom and
-
dad come together and bring you into insistence. Are not you the creation of
-
mere mortals? But knowing he knocked at your body, it's the temple on
-
a whole cust And we ought to be serving the Lord dangly we see being
-
found in his house and worshiping him continually. The leaders and the people within
-
the army trucks could be found together together as in the body as an assembly
-
that house the house of worssiping the Lord, verse number seven of that book.
-
In first chronicles that chapter and verse chronicles Verse number seven of the sixteenth
-
chapter says that David delivered a song to thank the Lord, to thank the
-
Lord. Do you know who he delivered that song to. He gave that
-
song to the heymns of a Sap and his brethren. All of this was
-
after David brought the Art of God back, after David's wife disgised the way
-
he worshiped, after David Mayburn Offeringza and peace Offernza. All of this divide
-
duty and ubiasimeter took place after they had everything in order. Oh, come
-
on, preacher, new in need the Holy girlsta, Yes you knew so.
-
Reader, do you need the Holy Ghost? Yes? Who do something?
-
Still? Teature being need the Holy Neess? Yes? Who do you
-
say? What even that ain't sopped in nothing? Have the Holy guest that
-
like the New Testament turns had I'll give you that. But they had something
-
that inspired people so much so in their holy words breathed by God, and
-
they found them sperate on this sacred rent. Tell the reason why it's irrelevant
-
in our time of trouble. The great songwriter of this modern age, this
-
modern era, saying the song I can call on Jesus any time, Yes
-
I can, for he is always on the line. He is the Lord
-
God, Almighty. Oh, yes he is. I want y'all to notice
-
something about this song that we're looking at, Song Chapter number fifty. The
-
first three words of that song when Asaf struck whatever chord heat struck, when
-
he began to sing in whatever key he sang in, he began with this,
-
the Mighty God. He did not say the Mighty pastor. He did
-
not say the Mighty first lady. He did not say the Mighty Mistical or
-
the Master Hope. He did not say the Mighty this or the Master of
-
this. No, he said the Mighty God. And in clarified version,
-
even the Lord. Oh, come on, now, have spoken, even
-
the Lord, how spoken. It appears to me that Asaf had a correct
-
understanding in an opinion as to the identity of the Lord. He must be
-
tron by the Spirit of Todd. In order to approach him properly, the
-
spirit of Codd, he must summons the soul of every person within you many
-
at some point or some type, whether you're the apostle, Paul, or
-
someone outside. It must be a pedire to that heaven and pony. Can
-
I tell you that when the Lord calls you, it is an emergency.
-
When the Lord it is to deal with you about your soul. It is
-
an emergency, sir. It is an emergency. Man. When you pick
-
up that handset and you die, the numbers the other numbers nine one one,
-
you expect somebody to answer on the other line and save. What is
-
your emergency? Asaf knew, I'm fishing a talk about God calling us and
-
us calling under God? Come on now, what is your emergency? Tonight?
-
God knows that talk to it. No parent, hayper, He's called
-
to you, he said, see me, he seek my paying. He
-
called this coming up time with you need me? I heard people say before
-
I should answer when God dealt with me, y'all hurt. Sister womb say
-
it tonight, she said, I don't know what I would do if I
-
could not feel his presence. I don't know how I can live life without
-
feeling his presence. Sister Womness said, to have to report to you,
-
to say that are people living without feeling the presence of the Lord, Unable
-
to say he is my Mighty God? Unable to say he is my Lord.
-
So this man, as if identifies the Lord properly, he identifies him,
-
ask the Mighty God. Secondly, he calls him the Lord, and
-
thirdly he calls him a god. You'll see that in the first two verses
-
of this chapter of Brother the Thing Lor. When I am in a serious
-
emergency, I do not call the share of person. I do not call
-
the pastor Perston. I do not call my spouse. First. The first
-
person I want to get on the line is the Mighty God, I said,
-
the mighty God of heaven head. If here's that this songwriter, the
-
song leader of the Hebrew Choir. He realizes that Jesus is no longer a
-
baby lying siddenly in a manger. He realizes that Jesus is highly anointed and
-
exalted about every angel. He realizes that Jesus is superior to every angel and
-
every demonic force to want through rape the galaxy. And I saw a shirt
-
his master sleep brother Nathaniel, and I had our family's vacation in together,
-
and my grandbaby's call me the best Papa in the world. But I saw
-
another papa wearing a certain that said the best Papa in the galaxy. I
-
thought, I need to scramble out. He got right there, Brother,
-
just see where it says in the world, and right with a black sharpie
-
in the galaxy. How come on, don't you believe that God is the
-
Lord of Lord and My God and all the little too God old? Yes,
-
how long will recall her our cod it's not asleep. I know I
-
CA's not a vacation, but I want our pride. He has a ear
-
bit taken coat your life. This matter Asaf is preaching through Saul. He's
-
ministry through song. If you're gonna see even the annoyance, don't seem for
-
attention or for glory or for fame, see for the glory of God.
-
This man begins to emerge amongst his peers, brother Nathaniel, in the midst
-
of trouble in this nation, there's trouble bruin, But this man becomes prominent.
-
I looked at this word emerging. It means drawing or growing in strength,
-
or drawing strength, growing in strength, becoming well known or established.
-
We know who he is now. He is very well established in your mind
-
as an anointed soul leader, as an anointed soul read writer. But he's
-
coming up. He's a Mergan, He's one of an idiot, He's one
-
ever pray. He's the one that really knows who God is, and he's
-
one that's got time for God, not only time to write a soul that
-
will be a person of somebody. That's but he's got a personal for racistship
-
with the Lord. And they even knew this. And that's what every child
-
that God is supposed to be. We're supposed to be like than rebots.
-
We're supposed to be a tribe has been called out from this word and separated
-
her from the God. He realized the Lord is coming. How can a
-
self know that? He has to have the spirit of God working in his
-
life? The seer or the prophet, the songwriter Jesse brother Jesse, the
-
songwriter in the song. He realizes the Lord is coming to judge the people
-
that are the creation of his own hands. He knows the Lord has summons
-
the earth at the rising of the sun and the setting of the same as
-
sees God shining forth onto perfection in the beauty. It's the result of the
-
life that is emitting or emerging from the Lord. There is a call that
-
is going forth, and this properer, preacher, a self knows this son
-
leader knows that he's calling the saints together in a sibly to be judge by
-
him to be judcha in their service, to be chudcha in their messer.
-
He's not summoning so many the celebrities only he's not summoning a less celebrities.
-
He's not summoning or come on, the Nashville artists and so many people that
-
call themselves the people are taught who's doing this? The Lord is the Lord's
-
kind of church. Some people, those that call that set up his people.
-
He's called them to judgment. The Bible said, now judgment must first
-
forgive in the house of God. But it doesn't finish there. It does
-
finished there. It begins there, but it doesn't finish there. Now,
-
if you'll notice our song, we get down to the fifteenth verse, our
-
song for tonight, our little verse that we're stuck on. How many of
-
you have ever heard a great song and you keep a replaying it, You
-
keep replaying it. Anybody that's really close to me. You know who my
-
favorite musical artist are. You know that I love the Southern gospel of general
-
music. You know that I don't have anything to do with hard rock.
-
You know that it don't soothe my soul and torment of my soul. Come
-
on, are y'all women in this house. You know what's your daddy's favorite
-
to the general music selection is. You know who my favorite musical artist are.
-
It's the people that make me think of the Lord. It's the people
-
that make me think on the good things of the Lord. At some point,
-
this man, Asapah comes from Saint. God has called you the judgment.
-
God has called creation the judgment. God has called the people and God
-
the judgment. And then it is fifteenth verse, Son, this is the
-
song that we're stuck on. Oh come on now, this is the lyric
-
or the line, and we're hung up bon we keep hitting the replay button
-
here tonight. So I'm fifty and fifteen, and call upon me in the
-
day of trouble? Who's sneaking here now? Asap he's got so north today?
-
Who's speaking? Assholes? The very or I'm tad he's speaking. That's
-
the very nth pisa. I'm ting. This is God saying, you're calling
-
to me in that day, Honey, what trouble? Let God by calling
-
that call by sister God, Hoy tall on the gone, it's just the
-
messy tall on the God in the day of trouble, emerge, Come forth,
-
stronger, emerging in my emergency, crowing in strength in this serious or
-
unexpected situation, growing in strength in this dangerous situation. That's required immediate action.
-
That's what the doctor's told by the Philip. This requires immediate action.
-
That's what the doctor's told sister daughter some years ago. This requires immediate action.
-
That's what the doctors told Brother Gabriel a while back. Whatever that tak
-
or whatever it was, grew up in this space. And I got the
-
phone call he's being hauled off to the hospital. But can I tell you
-
Brother Gabriel and military of mine both have had pro bain taints grow up in
-
their face off. And yes they suffered, second they turned the green burns,
-
but somehow, in the less than a week's time, they still have
-
a brace. And mother Tu lives call insan and us better trusting? Do
-
I steal have a face of God's answer? Warfare? You calling on me,
-
and my answer is like, yeah, the day of trouble, the
-
day of trouble, growing in strength in this serious, unexpected, this very
-
dangerous situation that requires immediate action. Don't you thank David coming home from battle
-
and looking at Zick Black and he saw that smog that was upon the land
-
of zicklag and relegestion. He said, this can't mean anything good. They've
-
been telling us that smog and this fog and this days and haze, and
-
we've been seeing around south Ford as some results of Canadian wildfire. He don't
-
spell like the smoke of wildfire to me. It may be I don't know.
-
Sometimes I wanted to test bomb somewhere out in the ocean and had to
-
explain the smoke away. I don't know. It just don't spell a lot
-
over all part of me. I remember about seven years ago of so sister,
-
wouldn't the Everblades were on fire for a good year or two. I
-
don't really remember the morning when I woke up in LaBelle and saw the smoke
-
from ww mare coming up here. And that's only about an hour and a
-
half south coming. So I don't understand what's coming over in this time of
-
trouble, they ar O Baba spoke of Rachel having a day of trouble and
-
talked about lots and had on a time of trouble and talking about Norah.
-
He living in a time of trouble. But you know what's bettheressy a coming
-
to nominate, or whats that they served the mighty thought they called her or
-
a neighbor for the nor no, or you were me here the ault and
-
no one's sitting there in different keys. And we got a new neighbor.
-
But tell that new neighbors tomorrow. It's gonna help you the time we'll troubl
-
This is a pastor Hamill saying, calling the God at your time of trouble.
-
This is God, said Gabriel. When it blows up in your face,
-
call upon me. This is God, Saint Jeremiah, and your time
-
of trouble, call upon me. Sister women, in your time of trouble,
-
call upon me. I love being able to encourage you as saying call
-
upon him. But God wants the suburbs. He wants to be your person
-
or God. They want to say as I say. He ain't even got
-
a call hold one of Jonathan and asked where he's puty, said he to
-
entreat me on your that halp, No, you can call her, told
-
me, oh yes. Then a Samuel who did that he hurt child?
-
He say he's say upon the Lord Jove. I can see it now,
-
as David watched the word of Asaf, as he watched how Asef got anointed,
-
and as he heard the words of that levit, David was no levite.
-
David could not perform the priestly duties. Samuel had been a priest and
-
a prophet. You remember King Saul got in trouble for trying to do the
-
office of a priest. David just sits there and he looks and he says,
-
man, I need to make sure that when I go to church,
-
that is the guy on the drums. Brother the thing if you did an
-
awesome job filling in for brother Philip. But I thought this as I'm preaching
-
right now, what we need is our drummer back. Do you know why
-
we need our drummer back? Because we need our lead guitarist back, and
-
well also need our pieces. That's guitar player back. Pay us. Come
-
on now. Everybody could have gotten insulted. They even to a sample.
-
David wasn't worried about feeling, I said, David worried about feelings? He
-
said, hey, s you worsip here. Every paints me here you Michael
-
great? I like him, good way, I want good I wake here
-
that just here, not scaring. That's David. He's making these appointments of
-
these worshipers. He is fresh back from the insult that his very own soultate
-
Michael at this point is she don't love him, and she don't care about
-
how worse is God. He don't care about anybody. He's not worried about
-
hurt anybody's feelings. And that's how it is. When I come to church,
-
I don't care if it embarrasses you. How I get in. I
-
don't care if you're SACT's too long. I know what my God don't for
-
me, because a second we'll do two years blood emergency, blood eruptive out
-
of his mouth, and the doctor's paris, the emergency workers, they got
-
a storm and he's breathing out, about to die. Then I asked him,
-
are you ready to meet Jesus a little lord, my precious son.
-
This sis the movie's going out? He said, I think so, Daddy.
-
I said, you're about to meet him. You're about to take your
-
last breath? Have I not testing that we emergency have our emergency that colonists
-
have taking. And I said, emergent in my emergency to give glory to
-
God. Time will not permit me to tell the story, but it is
-
a written record and it is fact of how the specialist at the hospital in
-
Tampa said, there has to be an higher power involved since the wait.
-
I appreciate our first responders. I stand up for them. I clap for
-
them. I even cried for them in total admiration at our Swamp Cabbage Festival
-
parade. I'm telling you, I'll swelled up in my chest and I'll clap
-
my hands and I holler, little bell, fired apartment, little bell,
-
come on our Hendred County Serious Department. Oh yes, our fallen heroes.
-
There's an a missing in action. Our veterans. We're gonna jesse. They
-
have been a lot for this country, but they have not always been able
-
to help me and my family. They have helped us over the years,
-
but you know what I have pround God. That's to me, I can
-
prayers to help in the time of trial, I said, God is a
-
prayers that help us in that time. I'll try out. God has given
-
an invitation call upon me in the day of trouble. I will deliver thee
-
and thou shalt glorify me. That's what I'm doing right now. I'm not
-
a shame to the Gospel A Jesus Christ. We know why Saul can say
-
that after his name has been changed to Paul, he calls consul Stephen.
-
Glory upon God in the kind that he has about concil see God, I
-
say, he's saw Stephen, mother's gone. Learn say buck again, he
-
has up. You don't call that, say going dissolars for people to call
-
him? Why didn't he create mankind? Whatever mankind failed and food falling?
-
It was falling. The Bible said, God got the call of Adam.
-
Adam and the Lord got called unto Adam is sitting to him? Where art
-
thou? Oh my God, damn, I feel the Holy ghost. My
-
baby boy, Philip Howell twenty years of age, just recently had a tumor
-
who cancer cut out. He's enjoying his honeymoon. Sister one. I called
-
him and he called me. My son. Philip is in Seattle, Washington
-
or y'all getting this and he called me and I called him. He messaged
-
me and I message him. Reciprostee. Right, we reciprocated one to another.
-
Now, don't you feel like godha time is very impoorted to It should
-
be very valuable to you, Belli, Nathaniel, you did not know what
-
I was going to preach on the nightra But my precious church family was all
-
over Bella. Nathaniel was talking about when God calls her, you better answer.
-
He's more out of reman, my God did not know where I was
-
gonna preachone out him. When God talk for you, why I get you?
-
Not answer? God? Let a forgetting people? God, let her
-
help you. Why can't call on him? Then practice hard for the man
-
of God. The student of the Bible to find where Adam apologized to the
-
Lord. It's hard to find exactly a pitpoint, exactly where Adam started calling
-
under God. It seemed like he's a man customly in denial, a man
-
living in regret. Yes, a man like Saul. He is some man
-
like he's Saul. He's carefully seeking repentance with tears when he's unable to find
-
that. You know why he can't find God? Because he's fr lived not
-
sorry. I said, he's far God saw. The Bible said that the
-
Lord had visited with Adam often frequently in the cool of the day. The
-
Lord desired to be the attention of that garden, the centerpiece of affection,
-
admiration, and attention in the garden, the very center piece. That's why
-
the Lord would appear on a daily basis and communicate with Adam to crowded to
-
kiss it with his grace. Adam had been privileged to walk as Enoch with
-
the Lord. Adam perhaps had told Enoch about just the walk with the Lord.
-
I've told you about having just a little talk with Jesus will make it
-
right. I've told you about having a long talk when Jesus will fix some
-
things, the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous man of alist match Oudam,
-
you knew what it was like to be walking with the Lord, to
-
our sweet communion between him. How come on now in the morning, in
-
the evening, in a midnight hour, on a daily basis, in the
-
time of trouble out of you you could call her a parton the Lord.
-
But why did you or not? Sister Root? And I's a minister.
-
Sometimes I've come called the scenes that the terrible things have happened. I'm called
-
to go to nursing homes and people are begging God not to take them because
-
they're scared to die. And for some reason, when all of that taking
-
place, and with their internal destination in mind. They never take that I'm
-
calling all God. No, they concept their name eternity. But I don't
-
want to concept the way to turn. I want to call all the name
-
of the Lord. He a caller from the name of the Lord. Shall
-
be sad. He saved you. He's safe from all Apartment Dolger, I
-
need to cut this short. In the day of trouble, Adam, you
-
should have called him the Lord. Our cod take says that Stephen called on
-
the name the Lord. He had just preached the beautiful sermon. He is
-
a man full of faith and full of the Holy Ghost. Does it matter
-
that you have the Holy Ghost in these times of trouble and the time of
-
tribulation at the end of this age? Does it matter? Adams the first
-
man, he's perfect. Seemingly he's probably in number twenty in the Piran,
-
so he's probably a number twenty an intellect. But he don't how the Holy
-
Ghost come on. He's in the call of the Lord. Ain't Sam selling
-
God calling on the Lord. When the Lord calls under us, we call
-
under the Lord. Stephen knew his Bible. In fact, when you study
-
the sermon of Stephen. You see, he walked them through the Bible,
-
He walked them through the Israelite's history. He talked about men calling on the
-
name of the Lord. I don't want to hold you too long tonight.
-
It seemed like you're okay with me to continue preaching, are you? You
-
see? There are people in this building tonight that are dealing with faith that
-
you had no part of creating. You have lost children and they are now
-
drug addicts. You had no dealings with that. The Trump Dealer did.
-
And you find yourself being torn in twain and mostly because your child is strung
-
out to all of addiction. And then you think about all these other sins
-
men, single and people have got caught up in and I mean when just
-
think about it to moms and dads and grandmas and grandpas are listening to discerning
-
and night that had no part to whatsoever in creating these emergencies, but nevertheless
-
they find themselves being swallowed up in great Come on, but I want you
-
to know what they might not be coming away. The Trump Dealer might not
-
be coming awave. The Trumpt Dealer might be doing what he can to make
-
sure your child has not set Creed's an addiction. But I want you to
-
know because somebody left praying than this. That's old man, I said,
-
that's somebody that's telling them to deal with trunks. That's somebody that's troubling in
-
us truck us the trunks. The problem a problem. You come to liver.
-
Father can deliver, he said, I will deliver it. It's not
-
I might, or if you call me back, I will deliver that.
-
He will help us. You can call on the Lord to help you with
-
those situations that you cannot manage. You have a disrespectful child. God can
-
help you with these situations that are out of your control. I see you
-
emerging in your emergency, I said, I see you emerging in your emergency.
-
Don't you think the peers of that man Stephen, they send a signal
-
throughout the land because of the conversion of Paula. He said, Hey,
-
I need to come in here and pray. And the man is supposed to
-
pray for him. Scared the death of him because they said, we've heard
-
of these notorious things that you have done. Saw we don't want you to
-
come to church. But you know what the spirit of God's for? Is
-
it important to have the Holy Ghost? Is it important to this spirit led
-
and the spirit of God called in and Issa, and bring him right on
-
in here? Brother, he Jay and you pray for him and this man
-
the stone. Stephen, though, was concending unto his stoning. He is
-
a child of Call. He's a vessel called under me. I wonder whom
-
it was Holf that prayed for salt? Whom it came Paul? I welcome
-
who it was to pray for his commerson. May I propose it was Steve.
-
What the devil meant for bad God and for good? I'm afend the
-
whole that goes. I'm here to tell somebody of God and take that test
-
and make it a testimony. He'll do you son, of it to him.
-
When Stephen began to rise up in the spirit, man began to look
-
up at that looking down man, he said, I see one standing next
-
to the father. I see one standing next to the Father. Paul,
-
come on now. Saul couldn't shake that, because Saul knew the Bible like
-
nobody else did that religious hypocrite song just trying to stop the Christian faith.
-
He heard a man calling unto God. He knew the sons of David.
-
He knew the songs of Asam better Nathaniel Saul of Tarsusa, the leader with
-
the Di Parsing Club. He knew that if a man calls on God,
-
he shows up. And everybody standing there could not deny that that the presence
-
of God shown up. They looked at us countenance. It had altered this
-
sense, a change up in a fear and soul. There was the face
-
off of an angel, and once for Manning Sault said that I could not
-
deny the spirit that us old God man. It was the spirit of God.
-
When you go through something, go through it gracefully and emerge in your
-
emergency. Emerging in my emergency. I know it's out of our control,
-
it is out of our huns. But when the doctor says I've done all
-
I can do, God hasn't done everything, he said, with every temptations.
-
He'll make a way of escape, he said, calling to me,
-
and I will deliver you. And I love this brother, Sam, he
-
said, and now shall glorify me. I feel like Asaf had something to
-
sing about. I feel like Job had something to sing about. Noways laying
-
yet well, I interesting and Joe chapter number fourteen and verse number one.
-
In the midst of great turbil and grief, Job, who had been a
-
perfect man, and demanded the attention of both angel and demon and God and
-
Lucifer. God said, have you considered my servant Job for this test?
-
And this will be the test of all tests. At some point the man
-
said, man that is born of women is a few days in full of
-
trouble. Job found that his friends were unfaithful in times of distress and the
-
rest. Brother Nathaniel, he found that the friends that he trusted the most
-
was not what he needed in this time, Brother Jonathan, he must call
-
upon the Lloyd. Job had to learn a lesson we've all had to learn.
-
He had to turn from his friends unto his God. He had to
-
turn from his friends unto his God. Adam, you should have turned from
-
Eve unto your God. Stephen turned from his persecutors and those who were stolen
-
him to death unto his God. The Bible says Stephen was calling unto God.
-
Stephen saw the brevity of his life. The duration of his life was
-
meniscal Brother Edwards. He realizes his mortality as a mere mortal. He needs
-
to assistance from the immortal God, brother, Jesse, would you come to
-
the piano, joke said man, coming forth like a flower. I spent
-
some time over the last couple of days with my son, my third born
-
son, brother Nathaniel, and his precious family. He has two beautiful daughters
-
and one precious son. I spent some time with him and his family,
-
and his bride and the girls, and those little granddaughters, Brother Nathaniel,
-
They're so precious, they coming forth like a flower, sister, how and
-
I truly enjoyed watching them, holding them, caressing them and covering them.
-
In fact, in that western wear store yesterday, Wow, Rebecca led me
-
around by my finger. She was the boss, and I love do.
-
And she had just asked for anything, she'd have got it. I don't
-
know if you'll have trained her not to ask, because she just hasn't learned
-
yet. But if she'd have asked me for anything, it doesn't matter.
-
If there's a ten gallum hat that would have swallowed her whole body, she'd
-
have got it. All she had to do was ask. I feel the
-
presence of God in this place. There's somebody here tonight who're just going through
-
it. Their life is so fragile, they're so tender. They're as delicate
-
as flowers. Every one of you are as tender as flowers. When you
-
think about the brevity of life, the duration of life, Brother roke Cap,
-
it's like a vapor. It's here today and it's gone to borrow.
-
When Brother Philip was getting married, Sister have Will turned to me just before
-
the ceremony began, and she said, it all happened so quickly. It
-
all happened so fast fast. It just seemed like twenty years ago. He
-
was a baby in my arm. Her babe, one, wow, what
-
happen? Job's heart begins to break, Man come forth like a flower.
-
The child will grow up, Brother Jesse, They will grow old, and
-
unfortunately, Sister heaven It's days will be full of trouble. But the good
-
news is the Lord will always be available. Brother Nathaniel, you didn't know
-
what I was gonna preach on. The Lord is always available to caress and
-
cuddle them. If Papa's days are cut short and I take wings and fly
-
to my long sought home, they won't be a to call on Papa right
-
now. I may not be able to move having and nerve, but I
-
move a lot for them. Two girls. I may not be able to
-
move some things. Brother, the ej for my son, and they just
-
cut that cantris toumround. But I can move a lot. And if I
-
can just move the heart of God, I feel a swinging presence of the
-
Lord in this place right now. The good news is Brother Philip, sister
-
daughter, Sister Bessy. The Lord wants to care, The Lord wants to
-
cress. The Lord wants to come. Yes, imprecious granddaughters of mine,
-
they all belong to me, so do the grand boys. But they'll always
-
belong to God. Let's stand tonight. I believe I'm looking at folks who
-
have not been neglected their personal relationship with the Lord. I believe I'm looking
-
at folks that when God said seek my face, your response was, Lord,
-
you asked me to seek your face. I will seek your face.
-
Are you turning towards him daily? Or are you waiting until the day of
-
verity comes? Are you turning to him early on? Early? Will I
-
see Thee? Are you waiting until hardship comes? The last part of that
-
verse says, I will deliver THEE and thou shalt glorify me. And Psalm
-
chapter number one and one. The Bible said, I cried unto the Lord
-
with my voice. When that call turns into a cry, and you begin
-
to check in, and you say, as the Somist did Song twelve,
-
when of my distress, I cried into the Lord and he heard me,
-
the other smist wrote, he said, this poor man cried, and the
-
Lord heard him, and delivery out of all of his troubles. Brother Yes,
-
said Brother Nathaniel, feel liberty to begin singing. When I feel like
-
I can't go on, He delivers me. When I feel like the devil's
-
piling thing is on, one right after another, Brother Jeremiah, he delivers
-
me a young person. Right now, you might be in a care free
-
situation, and because of that you're careless. But it would be good right
-
now for us to get a personal connection, establish a relationship with the Lord,
-
and begin to call into him. Will Joy agree, because the day
-
of trouble comes from us. All. Let's gather in the altar if we
-
may. When they pray, may we pray emergence and my emergency emerging God
-
on our emergency Pastor. I'm growing in strength. So if a serious unexpected
-
of the dangerous situation it's requiring a leaning action. This father, you know
-
where you belong. Get your family there when you're he's your friends of their
-
couple of Jesus said everything you got children, you'll let your sprout wing.
-
So you wands up down above your hardship, above the back the tall old
-
that I had wings of a down. Trouble comes knocking. He can make
-
a way of the skin because a boy goes to back your way ship and
-
check you. He's calling, calling to come check before you checked out.
-
Let's pray a while I can troublations we call je co excuse me a more
-
