It says in the thirty seventh verse. David therefore himself called him Lord.
-
And whence is he then his son and the common people will hurt him gladly.
-
And he said unto them and his doctrine, beware of the scribe which
-
loved to go in long clothing and love salutations in the marketplaces, and the
-
chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts, which to
-
our widow's houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. These shall receive
-
greater damnation. And Jesus sat over against the treasury and beheld how the people
-
cast money into the treasury, and many that were rich cast him much.
-
And there came a certain poor widow, as she threw in two months,
-
which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith
-
unto them. Verrely, I said unto you, that this poor widow hath
-
cast more in than all they which have cast into the treasury. For all
-
they did cast in of their abundance. For she, of her want,
-
did cast in all that she had, even all her living. That would
-
be all of our reading. To not o her God for your annoy to
-
Lord Ali, if the Lord would help me just for U a little while
-
tonight, I would like to preach on what God can do with your little
-
This the thought had been running it for several days, even before Pastor had
-
asked us to be rid to preach. Was this past Sunday? I think
-
it was towards the end of December. This pretty much daily almost the words
-
what God can do if our little when we are willing to give it or
-
all? Every morning, every evening. It kept on coming to my mind,
-
and day after day, and I began to study on these verses.
-
And these are the verses that God laid on my heart. And I mean
-
the scriptures we read over in the twelfth chapter of Mark has said that Jesus
-
sat over against the treasure and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury.
-
I believe that Jesus probably sat there watching and looking to see who all
-
was going to give their very best, and who all is going to go
-
up and give what they could just to get by, just to make theirselves
-
look good and to not blend in with everyone else. And that's really how
-
it becomes in church. Sometimes not really you know, we're supposed to pay
-
our tithes and we're supposed to pay, you know, given the offering,
-
but for most of all, we're supposed to give God raising. If we're
-
not careful, we'll get to the place where we'll look around and see how
-
other people are doing, and we'll all he want to praives God because we
-
see the person beside it, becide us pray from God. I am.
-
I believe in this portion of scripture. A lot of well known people were
-
probably there that day to cast their riches into the treasury. But here came
-
this poor widow woman who was there for the right reason. She cast in
-
two mites, which made a farthing. And I looked up the definition of
-
what a mo what the consistency, what the value was, and it's not
-
even where. It's just a portion of a penny, not worth very much.
-
But she had a desire in her heart to get at all. When
-
I began to think about the scripture, this poor widow woman, there were
-
three words. It was Sunday afternoon. There was three words right after another
-
came to my mind that God laid on my heart, and the first one
-
was obedience. I truly believe this woman had a heart of obedience when she
-
was dead with in her heart to give the last of her mind, the
-
last of her living, the last of her two months. We don't fight
-
where she grumbled. We don't fight where she complained or made excuses that,
-
hey, I only have two months left, this is the last that I
-
have of my life. She she just went up there and cast them in
-
where Jesus was sitting, and she probably went on about her day. And
-
I believe that she was blessed. I believe the parteople that have riches,
-
you know, they may have been blessed to a certain extent. But she
-
had in her heart that she was gonna give it her all. It would
-
have been easy for her to say, I only have two months left.
-
I can only give one and keep the other. And I begin to think
-
that's how a lot of people are nowadays. They want to keep give God
-
a half praise. They only want to say, well, no, one
-
church service, I can only give them my half. Well, what if
-
that was your last church service, fella, the last time for having to
-
get God praised? Would you think as sure the way you just thought,
-
would you be standing up and saying God, I love you and I praise
-
you. We all have our personal needs. And God will meet us if
-
we're willing to come through embrace Him. We pastor been for several months now
-
saying seek Him, seek Him, and I've tried to do better. I'm
-
not boasting on myself, but I've made sure that I've been doing what the
-
pastor has sinned. I know that God's told our pastor that. And we
-
can see all the things that God has done here lately, with the new
-
births of the babies, with all with brother Philips, sister Cheryl's sister,
-
how God's really doing good things. What would it be like if we wasn't
-
on our faces seeking God. It could be so much different. We could
-
be standing here and not even playing in a funeral. But God good to
-
us. Keep that first. We can look around, and I believe we're
-
living in a generation that is probably one of the most disobedient generations that this
-
world's ever seen. It just seems like when God tells the people to do
-
something, they want to they want to be disobedient to God. When God
-
says, give me a whole hearted praise, they only want to give a
-
half hearted praise. And it's dangerous to become rebellious. What God says,
-
because he is the one that gives you life, He is the one that
-
holds the very breath in your body, and he can't smatch you down at
-
any time if you're not being obedient to him. You look over in James
-
chapter four, verse seventeen, it says, therefore, to him that knoweth
-
to do good and do if it not to him, it is sin.
-
And that's where a lot of people that get to the place where they harden
-
their heart and they want to say, Lord, don't I want to obey
-
you, but I'm not willing to give up certain things that I don't got
-
to get ahead of myself. But if you look over here in Proverbs twenty
-
nine and verse one, it says he that being often reproved, hardened at
-
this neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. What just
-
the scary thought that is that when you know we consistently disobeyed God, when
-
we consistently disobey our pastor arden our deck, we could be allied for death
-
situation. It could be allowed for death situation. Here tonight, what are
-
you gonna do with the opportunity God's given you? Will you say, God,
-
I'm sorry? Would you please forgive me of the time that I have
-
been disobeting, or will you continue to harden your neck? Will you continually
-
to go back to the house and say, I could have done that,
-
I could have said, I could have said more than what I did.
-
I could have praised you with the whole heart instead of the I praise.
-
That's right. We must do exactly what God tells us to do as individuals.
-
That means everything to him, give her everything to him. If we're
-
not completely sold out to God, were that means we're most likely luke warm.
-
We got our at one foot, half in our in the church.
-
And what if you would half of the heart, half the heart of the
-
church, and half in the world. And you can't serve too masters,
-
you can't go out, and you can, but it's a dangerous thing and
-
you can't make it to Heaven. Live and Monday through Friday for God,
-
and then on Saturday say hey, I've gotta do better than what I've been
-
doing for Sunday, Sun tomorrow morning's church. I've gotta do better because people's
-
gonna be watching me. God knows. Whenever you throw your hand up and
-
really don't mean what it knows when you say glory to God. It might
-
be that some people just get too busy watching others and they lose what God
-
has for them because they're all the time wanting to coffeecat others. And I
-
was one of those that it was easy to look at my friends before God
-
really changed me around about a year ago, going on a year. It
-
was easy for me to look at people and say, I want to be
-
like that, but I'm not really willing to give everything to God. I'm
-
not really willing to really willing to lay down some sacrifices. And that was
-
the second word that God laid on my heart about whenever I began to study
-
the these verses, was sacrifices. I believe that this woman made some sacrifices
-
whenever she went up there and gave her two much to God she could have.
-
They're not they wasn't really worth a lot, even back in those days.
-
But there was so much more that she could have went out into the
-
world and bought. There's so much more she could have. She could have
-
been on maybe a new garment, maybe just to go out somewhere. But
-
she had her heart that hey, I'm gonna I've been deal with. I've
-
gotta go to where Jesus is and give all that I'm God. We sell
-
out to God. There are sacrifices we make. We separate ourselves from being
-
part of this world, and it's for our benefit. But I would rather
-
make sacrifices for God than living in this world and feeling con condemned and feeling
-
like I've been a failure and all that. But as you know, people
-
that come into church and they wind up compromised because they truly don't obey God.
-
The last word that God had laid on my heart regarding this was faith.
-
I believe she was a faithful woman because whenever she came to give her
-
last two miles, I believe she had faith that God was going to provide
-
even for the day after. God I don't believe let her go without with
-
a garment. I don't believe he let her go without food the next day.
-
And I believe God he was whenever he dealt with her. It wasn't
-
just something that she just shrugged her shoulders and said, you know what I
-
can give tomorrow, you gotta gift today. When God's laid up to hear
-
he has been a faithful God. Over Hebrews chapter thirteen and verse five,
-
it says, let your conversation be without convesceousness, and be content with such
-
things as he have. For he has said, I will never leave thee
-
nor for safety that out there's enough for me to have faith in God,
-
that he is gonna supply my needs, that he is gonna supply my riches.
-
In Lord, He's got a mansion laid up in store for us over
-
there, but it's gonna be up to us whether if we inherit it or
-
not. The decisions up to us. We can't make you do it when
-
the pastor gets up and preaches to you. When the preachers gets up and
-
preaches to you, I can't make you go to heaven. But it is
-
our desire for you to go with us. You may say that I don't
-
have much to off, but as long as you're giving it all that your
-
heart has in store for God, that's what matters. This little little widowed
-
woman didn't have much to offer, But if you look at the forty fourth
-
verse back over in Mark chapter twelve, it says, for all they did
-
cast in of their abundance, but she of her want did cast in all
-
that she had, even her living. And just you've gop a verse or
-
two above that it says that he called him unto him his disciples saith undo
-
them barely. I say to you that this poor widow hath cast more in
-
than all that which have cast into the treasure. And no, if you
-
would, you know, two mites, they don't really equal much of the
-
guys that was there. Probably they probably almost made up to a competition of
-
hey, I can outgive you. I just want to be a show walk.
-
But whenever we come into the house of God, it shouldn't be like
-
that. We should have God on her. And that's the thing that we
-
should be most of all thinking about. You may say, well, how
-
do I give all the God? Whenever we get to the place where we
-
become obedient to our pastor, then you can have the thought of, hey,
-
I can be obedient to God. I can be obedient to my pastor.
-
You can humble yourself down unto God, and he will hear you when
-
you cry out whatever people, And I'm not judgment I'm not being mean.
-
But whenever some people can start showing up thirty minutes early and start praying that's
-
when we can start seeing changes in people's lives. The story of the five
-
thousand came to my mind when the lad came up to Jesus. When it
-
says there was five thousand men, that's not counting the women and the kids
-
that was there. And he didn't have much to offer God to feed the
-
crowd, but he was willing to give all that he had, and we
-
know the end result. Everybody was filled. The disciples went and I believe
-
they carried and gathered up twelve extra baskets and from two fish and five loaves,
-
the twelve extra baskets full. That's a big difference. When every week
-
get to a place where we're willing to let God change us and we offer
-
her all. God can give us an overflowing portion to let us spread among
-
other people. We can have extra to go out and do a ministry for
-
God. We can go out and do a great work for God. And
-
He does see our hearts and intentions that he does, he will magnify that.
-
That's what the Lord has laid on my heart. And I want to
-
think again, I'm thankful for the opportunity of our Pastor has given us,
-
and I do love, and I appreciate it. Yeah, reason the Lord,
-
My mind went to that, you know, with the meal, What
-
would have happened if she had to give what she had to the man of
-
God? What would have happened because she said she was getting ready to die?
-
Brother, Rode go bum did you live in your heart? Brother?
-
I'm too and thankful to be in the house of the Lord tonight. It
-
is such a privilege and an honor to be here. I guess I've known
-
Pastor how and Sister How and the family for quite a few years, to
-
go back quite a ways, and he's always been well before he was just
-
a great friend and brother. But it is an honor to call him pastor,
-
him sharing a sacred desk with us tonight, having confidence in us to
-
get the mind of the Lord to preach to you. But truly, I
-
do appreciate being able to serve under Him and alongside these brethren or great men
-
of God. I do appreciate them with our church, and we're asking the
-
Lord to help us tonight. Saint John's Gospel, Chapter number sixteen. I
-
stayed up late working on something else and trying to get the mind of the
-
Lord, and had some other sermons kind of into arsenal, but about eleven
-
thirty, somewhere between eleven and eleven thirty, the power God gave in that
-
pickup truck when I was coming back from our tone, and he spoke two
-
words in my heart, and I believe it's going to help us. Tonight
-
John's chapter number sixteen, and let's look at verses thirty two and thirty three.
-
These are the words and read tonight, Jesus said, behold, Dad
-
were cometh yea, it's now come. He shall be scattered. Every man
-
to his own shall leave me alone. Look at this latter part. And
-
yet I am not alone because the Father He's with me. These things I've
-
spoken unto you that in me you might have peace. In the world.
-
You shall have triviulation. But be of good cheer. I have overcome the
-
world. Stretch worth your hands and help us. Having the Father. We
-
do love you, We appreciate you, Lord, We thank you for this
-
opportunity to be in your house. Lord. I think you're for an opportunity
-
to share my heart. Lord, what I feel like you've spoken to us
-
tonight, and I asked for that anoyning for that touch, for that unction
-
Lord God, I pray that you and bless and you want to knock the
-
hearts and the heroes tonight. We do love you, we do praise you,
-
and then we give you the glory and the honor. We do pray
-
in Jesus' name in the church said, Amen, you may be seeing the
-
President of the Lord. That's all our Bible reading. He said. Yet,
-
he said, and you sh leave me alone, And yet I am
-
not alone. Amen. You look at the context of the writing. Here
-
the beloved disciple John, the disciple whom Jesus loved. He had warned his
-
disciples, and he had talked to them about their sufferings. You look at
-
the sixteenth chapter, and the Bible reader understand that this is one of those
-
chapters that Jesus speaks that he will send another in his place. Aren't you
-
glad to feel the presence of the Holy Ghost? That are midst I don't
-
believe the church can operate without the presence of the Holy Ghost. Amen.
-
We can't function really without the unction. Amen. There cannot be a formed
-
without the force. We do need him, We need him to come alongside.
-
He is our help. Amen. That's what the Holy Ghost is.
-
And Jesus said, I'm going away, but I will send another. Amen.
-
I will send him in my place. He was there to comfort him.
-
He said, he will come up to you because I'll send him unto
-
you. Amen. We're not alone. Amen. We have the Holy Ghost.
-
Amen. I pray Amen, and those seeking the Holy Ghost, Amen,
-
that you'll be filled with the power of spirit. Praise God. He
-
promised the coming of another. Amen. He promised the disciples there would be
-
times of suffering and tribulation and persecution, that they would face things storms of
-
life, and then troubles and trials. And we know Pathul we're not.
-
Amen. We know all about trials, and we know all about sufferings.

-
Hell is Lujah, Amen, Oh God. I was listening to that song
-

-

-

-

-

-

-

-
to remember there's there's a hymn for that. Somebody must have been facing some
-
tribes, somebody, Amen, must have went through some battles. Amen.
-
Somebody had been afflicted Amen in their body. Amen. And there's actually this
-
writer is anonymous if you look at two eighty eight, not hymnal. We
-
don't even know who wrote the song. Some even believe that I possibility it's
-
over the years, through the ages, Amen, that the different saints,
-
they just kept adding verses to the song. But there's a hymn in there
-
that says we're never alone. Amen. If I could just read just a
-
little bit of that and close tonight. I've seen light and flash, and
-
I've heard the thunder roll. You've been there, Amen, hamen the storms.
-
Amen. I felt sins breakers dashing trying to conquer my soul. Amen.
-
He promised. I heard the voice of the Savior telling me steal the
-
fight on. I'm telling the church keep fighting, Amen, keep pressing.
-
He promised never to leave me, never to leave me alone. He said,
-
the world's fierce winds are blowing and they are Amen. Temptations, Amen,
-
sharp and keen. I feel a peace and knowing my Savior stands between.
-
He stands to seal me from danger when earthly friends are gone. Amen.
-
He promised never to leave me, No, never to leave me alone.
-
Amen, I love that soul is said, when everyone walks out,
-
that's when he walks in. Amen. He's proven time and time again that
-
he's my dearest friend. And he said he's come with me old way even
-
tell when it afflicts its valley. I'm treading the road of my Savior helps
-
me carry my cross and heavy to bear. My feet, entangled with briars,
-
ready to cast me down, My Savior whispers his promise. I never
-
will leave thee alone. Haymen. I feel the holy ghost in this house
-
and Jesus facing his darkest troth. You look at that last verse and talks
-
about Jesus going up the top of Caverns Mountain. Amen. At the had
-
the most critical point and in the in the darkest days when he faced it
-
with strong crying, in tears and great agnony and travail of soul had been.
-
He told his disciples, he said, you're gonna be scattered. You're
-
gonna leave me. He said again, he said, you're gonna leave me
-
alone. A yet, heymen, I'm alone, for God's with me.
-
Amen. He he he bored for me, He boored for you tonight.
-
He remember the thing that he faced it Amen, that he was gonna face
-
Calvary alone. Amen. When that is the sight was by his side with
-
that as close Amen. Companions, I believe one followed him all the way.
-
Amen to the cross hemen. And and seemingly the father did turn his
-
back Amen for those final moments. Amen. When the sun refused to shine,
-
Amen, When when the sky was darkened, Amen, even in the
-
darkest hour. Praise God. Amen. I believe God. Amen, he
-
turned, He'll turn He's gonna turn it around. Church. Amen. I
-
believe he's gonna turn it around. Praise Codd Amen. When we read our
-
worst Amen, cord. Amen, was that his pasta Amen. He went
-
to Calvary's hill Aymen, he bore his crossed byself Amen, and we would
-
never have to go Amen. And I love him tonight and I appreciate him.
-
Amen. We face some trials. We just come at them this summer,
-
a long couple of weeks, and just to seeing the endless sickness.
-
Heymember God, come through forest, Praise come. He remember facing some other
-
patterns, Amen, Not nothing like what's going on. I got the praying
-
last night passed her and that wind was blowing. I mean it was boisterous
-
the thunder. We could hear the thunder all around us. We didn't know
-
where it was, and it wasn't over top of us. And we were
-
out there, brother Kal said, and I'm closing here, he said,
-
he said, he said, let's go to the fire forest, son,
-
Amen, before the rain comes, you know. And we just out there
-
on our face and and we found a couple of little kind of mists,
-
just a couple of little sprinkles. And then the wind got the howld ay,
-
then the wind got the blow and I saw the headlights come on in
-
the van and all of a sudden, I mean, it just came down,
-
Amen. It just hey, it just seems like these storms catch off.
-
God, we knew was coming. They let they forewarned us south.
-
Hey, man, that's what Jesus did here. He forewarned him, Hayven
-
that in this life you are gonna have trial. So in this life you're
-
gonna have trouble, sir. He let him. Man, he let us
-
know. And we still got caught in the storm. Amael, we still
-
got something got dreads. Hey, remember God, hayby, God let us
-
out there. Hey, they God let us out there. He's been meeting
-
this churchill out there and fire force, and then you feel like you're praying
-
alone. Amen, You're not alone. Press how they love you. He
-
forewarned him that they go through those things and some of those things. Amen.
-
But he said, he told him that they might have peace in the
-
battle, peace in the store, peace in amidst the trouble, and see
-
the trial piece. I give up to you, not as the world give
-
it, give out of you, he said. Be a good chief,
-
and this world's gonna have trouble, But be a good cheer. Ah have
-
overcome the work. Be a good cheer well never never, Amen. I
-
love the Lord tonight again, Pastor, thank you so much. And I
-
really hope I was a blessing to someone tonight. It's not about me.
-
It's about him. It's about coming to this fool pit riching something that's gonna
-
help somebody else, save Cray the Lord. Don't you appreciate the Lord?
-
Welcome beside of us, even to God in hand, lift your hands to
-
nod. And whether Nathaniel comes, get the Lord of praise, he's worthy
-
of it. Hey, man, ain't you thankful for the presence of the
-
Lord tonight? You mean I thought of that burst over there at matthew brother
-
Road. Cap. The last thing Matthew wrote to us, he said,
-
lo, I am with you always, even to will a man. You
-
know when he said that, right after he said all powers given undo me
-
and earth, he's got power to do something about it. And when I've
-
heard people make some promises faster and they didn't have the authority to change a
-
thing, you knew they were just blowing smoke. Right, Jesus here says,
-
hey, I've got all the power. Then he goes ahead and says,
-
and I'm gonna be with you. Amen, I'm thankful for the word
-
of the Lord. Amen. This was a man a direction. Amen.
-
And y'all y'all will see here, Amen, just momentarily. Amen. Uh.
-
This will be probably a little different than I've ever experienced having to preach.
-
I mean, you know there there are sometimes two sides to a sermon.
-
You can preach the bright side and the dark side. And the Lord
-
give me a sermon, and I had two beautiful sights to it, a
-
man a dark side and a light side. But the Lord really directed me
-
to the to the dark side, and then of course wanted to preach the
-
light side. Amen. But but it's as if God little brother road Cap
-
preached the happy side, Amensee, go bear with us. We're gonna try
-
to preach a man with the Lord's lead on our heart. But before I
-
get started, I've got to share something that's been on my heart. Amen,
-
And I feel like it taught the Lord. Amen. Over. In
-
Jeremiah, chapter number twenty eight, the Bible tells of a prophet that came
-
and kind of had words with Jeremiah, the mighty Prophet Jeremiah. And the
-
prophet was Hannah Andanayah. And he he began to to he was one of
-
those flim flam hooey foye. I hear, I hear, I see us
-
see an angelis stood by me. Preachers, right, we know those kind
-
of preachers. Amen. And you can have a prophet liar, or you
-
can have a prophet a man. Here at Bethel, we don't have a
-
prophet liar. There's a lot of them out there. They just say what
-
you want to hear. And man, they speaking real quick. Now.
-
This Hannah and Naiyah came when he promises them all the yo and a pastor's
-
been talking to us about you can use illustrations and sermons. Amen, you
-
know what, the crazy prophet Jeremiah's running around with a yoke about his neck.
-
Amen, has had an illustration. I dare say it is an he's
-
running a crazy crazy prophet's running around Israel with a yoke around his neck.
-
Well, Hannah and I comes up to him. A man breaks the yoke
-
and says, oh, I've heard from the God. He's gonna bust the
-
yoke, and in such and such many years he's gonna restore it. Amen,
-
you can find that through about ten and ten, verse ten and eleven,
-
and then on through twelve and thirteen a man, and then verse number
-
fifteen. The Bible said, then said the prophet Jeremiah and the Hannah and
-
II and the prophet here now, Hannah and I, the Lord had not
-
sent thee, but thou makest this people to trust in a lot. Therefore,
-
thus saith the Lord, behold, I will cast deed from up the
-
face of the earth. This year, thou shalt die, because you have
-
talk talk rebellion against the law. So, Hannah and Ni the prophet died
-
the same year in the seventh month. My God, Amen, these preachers,
-
they'll lie oh my, we've seen them come through. And of course
-
the prophet liars don't like a real prophet. Amen. So I'm thankful Amen,
-
that we got a prophet that can smell a rat, as he would
-
say, Man, I admire and acknowledge my pastor. I admire him.
-
Amen. I'll have the foolest confidence in him. Amen. His ministry has
-
helped me in times when I was a man barren and destitute, Amen,
-
times when I was broken and afflicted. Amen. He truly has been.
-
Amen. That that good Samaritan minister. Amen. There's been other times he's
-
been. Amen. The prophet Jeremiah to be is that, Hey, hold
-
up here and Amen, listen to what the real Lord has said. Amen.
-
And that kind of straightened me out. You know, I'm thankful for
-
all of it, because Amen, there's a there is a deciety. Amen.
-
To God. God is an emotional Amen, individual emotional being Amen.
-
The sovereign God Amen is emotional, and he has emotions like we do.
-
Amen. He gets upset, he has love a man, he has frustration
-
and anger. Amen. He has times where he loves and chasings, times
-
where he caresses amen and consols. Amen. But I thank God Amen,
-
we can see that in no pastorymen phrase God all right, John chapter number
-
seven. Tonight's so thankful for the presence of the Lord. Amen. I've
-
amen. I don't know how long I'll be, Amen, but I pray
-
amen that y'all get in and help as Amen. Y'all know the old any
-
honor play with the potato heads, Amen, And you can put a mouth
-
on them or put a tongue. Amen. Y'all go ahead and find your
-
amen tongues and avan your smiley faces and pop them in. They may help
-
us tonight. And man, we want the Lord to help us. John
-
chapter number seven, verse thirty three. If you'd stand for the reading of
-
the word amen, The Bible says, then said Jesus on to them,
-
get a little while? Am I with you? And then I go unto
-
Him that sent me. Ye shall seek me and shall not find me in
-
where I am thither you cannot come. Amen. Flipping over to John chapter
-
number nineteen and verse number thirty. If in the Bible said unto us and
-
praise God and many other signs, well let me see here. I'm on
-
over and twenty a man praise God. John chapter nineteen and verse thirty Amen,
-
the Bible said. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said,
-
it is finished, bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
-
Amen. Now flipping over to Acts chapter number one and verse number nine.
-
And when he had spoken these things while they beheld, he was taken up,
-
and a cloud received him out of their siety. Man, if you
-
would ask your stress, your hands toward heaven, ask God to help us.
-
Amen, Lord, God, we beseech the Mighty Lord, King of
-
those fal Sovereign God, our wonderful Savior. Lord, would you give us
-
words tonight that would help God hearts? Lord? Would you speak to us
-
clearly, God, express the Lord, give us direction behind every hindrance.
-
Lord, we need your naught in God, for that is what we'll destroy
-
and break the yakes. God. Lord, We've been in a time of
-
fasting God, and we asked for some things to depart tonight, for some
-
things to go fard Lord, and leaves, for some change Old God,
-
praying fasting God, and humbly we asked, then I come by bless this,
-
not people set a guard about my mouth. Let me say nothing more,
-
nothing less than you would have In Jesus Holy name, We're asking him
-
praying and believe it in faith in the church. Sim ave man, all
-
right, pray again. I see Amen. I love my pastor. I
-
am thankful for this opportunity. Amen. Praise God. You could put that
-
on a billboard. Amen. Let the whole hole in this movement. No,
-
I love my pastor. Amen. He is the greatest man to walk
-
in shoe leather in modern times. Amen. If you don't believe it,
-
Amen, tell me a little different, and then I'll have to confront you.
-
Praise God. Now they say, don't tell me. Amen. I
-
don't want to know any different. Now. Amen, you could try to
-
tell me. But I know the truth. Amen, say Hannah, and
-
I just shut up. Praise God, all right, Praise God. Our
-
text begins over here in John the seventh chapter. Amen, just a little
-
backstory here the Bible Amen talks about this in around verse one. It begins
-
to walk you through, Amen, Jesus here is a man at the feast
-
of the Tabernac when verse thirty three. But getting there, Amen, Jesus
-
had teared in Galilee and his brethren a man had spoke to him saying,
-
Amen, come up hither. Amen. Basically, make a demonstration of yourself.
-
Don't be hiding out. Amen. When the Bible says his brethren didn't
-
actually believe in him. Now his brethren go on ahead, and Jesus here
-
amen, goes in secret. The Bible tells us about the middle of the
-
feast. Now, the feast of the Tabernac will day. Amen. Would
-
Amen say that was typically seven days long. So here, Amen, you
-
can say he went on the third day, the fourth day, whatever suits
-
your fancy. I know Jesus liked the number three, Amen, so maybe
-
it was on the amenday number three. It just says in the midst of
-
the feast, he went up at the Amen. About the about the midst
-
of the feast, I think is the wording there. Amen. And he
-
begins to open his word to the lost sheep of the High House of Israel.
-
Amen. His word, of course is soul stirring. Amen. And
-
his word is a divide or even the Bible says he would come, and
-
he would a man sit apart, mother, a man and daughter, father
-
and son. Amen. And here a division begins to arise, and people
-
begin to have conversation. Amen. Praise God. About the twenty fifth or
-
the twenty seventh verse A man saying, Lo, he's speaking boldly, and
-
they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the
-
very Christ? Howbeit we know this man whence he is? Amen. But
-
when Christ cometh, no man know whence he is. There's one side of
-
it, Amen. Another side begins about verse thirty one through thirty two.
-
And many of the people believed on him and said, when Christ's coming,
-
Amen, will he do more miracles than these which Amen, this man has
-
done. The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him, and
-
the Pharisees of chief priests officers to take him. Now he find ourselves called
-
up. Amen to verse thirty three. Here Amen, So he's he's he's
-
come up to the feasts of the Tabernaco. Amen, and he's here Amen.
-
The setting would be inside the temple, Amen, as Jesus' custom often
-
was when he come up to Jerusalem. Now, one of his hesitations Amen,
-
coming here, Amen, was that the Bible said in verse number one
-
that he walked out in jury because the Jews sought to kill him. Amen.
-
So they've already amen, had it out for Jesus. They've already been
-
Amen. A little bit disturbed about what he was saying. Amen. And
-
now praise God. Now the Bible says that the chief preached him in dispatch.
-
Amen. They send the officers to take him to a for him the
-
Savior. Amen. So now praise God. There they're sending someone to go
-
arrest Jesus. Amen, and praise God. We have seen Amen, many
-
many people throughout the Amen, the Christian world, ay Man across the church
-
world that they really don't want to have anything to do with Jesus. Amen.
-
There are people that like the way things are going for the young,
-
Amen, prays God, and they just want to silence the voice of the
-
Lord the Man. At churches, they kick out pastors preaching the truth a
-
man and higher harlings. Amen. Praise God. Across the church world,
-
we've seen them punt their ears and heat to themselves teachers an because their ears,
-
and won't they man, they wanted to tickle their ears. They have
-
engineer they member. Verse thirty three, Jesus begins to give a stark warning.
-
Gave man. Now before I read this again, and I would like
-
to say this statement here transcend time. It transcends Amen, in place,
-
it transcends situation. It's transcend circumstances. Amen, And it is critical Amen
-
to all that hear it. Amen, would be guarded with the utmost in
-
attention. Praise God. Jesus said, yet a little while I am with
-
you, and did I go under him? Let's sit me. Praise God.
-
So he's that happened to your here they been to those that are not
-
saved. Theymen. To these people here in the world of God, they
-
men. They were not disciples, they man. They were knock and birdied.
-
They many. He was, yes, talking, avemen no guile.
-
They not to the officers, but also the people in the synagogue. And
-
he said, under them, yet a little while, I'm with you,
-
But I won't be here wrong, and you're gonna seek me and you shall
-
not bind me. And where I am til he cannot come. Mayben Jesus
-
is telling people at the turchis may man, Yes, I'm here to tell
-
you, but I got beat the mono he's tell here an, Yes,
-
I'm here to tell present the day, but I got mad. I've come
-
to preaching to her. A sermon the Holy Ghost titled Amen Sunday afternoon,
-
Amen, And I sat in wonder Sunday night. Amen. The time came
-
to me a man, as I read my Bible, had purposed they mean
-
to spend the afternoon with the Lord. Before I was asked to preach.
-
Amen, and God said, Amen, preach all He's gone, Oh God,
-
Now anyone with a little bit of a memory would no Mother. Philip
-
came and preached a man about when God moves on. Amen. Now that
-
would be the present a man, brother Philip, priest Amen of message,
-
and then with a title that still offered a little bit of hope, Amember.
-
Then God had laid on my heart, and I sat there with a
-
broken heart, knowing I would have to come we see and preach because someone
-
had got it ryal Sunday, and then God already knew there wasn't gonna be
-
a proper response to the word of God. A man prays God on Sunday
-
night and man, now here Amen would be a past tenser saying God's gone,
-
He's departed, He's no longer with the pub They man, we know
-
the term icabada and of the woman in the Bible that name their children in
-
Gabarda, saying the presence of the Lord is departed. Amen. And we've
-
seen parents. They man tear it too long from around. We've gone to
-
Londa and what's the children's Systemony, go tell, don't have no power of
-
God. Seeing they don't have God. No, I stay, don't have
-
because that shit, it's obvious. Acabada is over that family. Napada is
-
over those they have not he of the O God, He's gone as we
-
get started. There is a story told of a man. He was in
-
a hospital bed. I'm sorry, No devil thinks he's gonna fight us a
-
man. I'm a fighter, Praise God. There is a story told of
-
a man in a hospital bed. He is a young man who thinks he
-
will pull through. A man. He's gonna pull through, just fine,
-
a man. And in the bed beside him was a Christian man who,
-
after learning from the doctor a man of the severity of his condition, began
-
to try to win this man to Christ. The young man, thinking he
-
would pull through, refuse to play. Amen had a snarty attitude. Amen,
-
acting like everything was fine. They act like you had no interest in
-
what the man of God had to see. Remember a few hours later,
-
when death began to grip him and the reality began to sit him in his
-
said. He screamed and cried, whimpered in bed until the icy hand of
-
the prim reefer her. They then silenced his mouth in death. What was
-
this man crying in the city. He cried for mercy, He cried for
-
someone to pray him. And yes, prayer was offered up, but he
-
found no peace with God. While because the door of mercy had closed,
-
they ben because God had departed, God was no longer there. And then
-
we don't come with this convenience. We don't come, and we think we
-
can do they mean to get there Fore, they don't make thought. I'll
-
be just fight up. I'll be back in the talks tomorrow. I'll be
-
back at the party houses on Monday. They remember when he realized, oh
-
I need God. God said no for him. Now I'd offered you hope
-
when I was president time. I won't come to you and your convenience seize
-
her. I'll come in my time. I talk where there's that time,
-
little time and may the chose the set for some individuals, but they continue
-
to deal it down. You a man with the Lilah and pool around first,
-
be thy melone about Hey, what will happen for himdon when he's gone,
-
his door of mercy closed. Amen. The Lord gave me this,
-
and study it. Man, If you walk not through the door of mercy,
-
you will be left standing in the throne room of judgment. If you
-
walk not through the door of mercy, you will be left standing the front
-
room of judgment. Oh God, do you realize mercy is nothing more than
-
an escape route, an escape door from men from an angry God. That
-
is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of I pray, deny Amen,
-
and then all day to day aymen. Then a spirit of the fear
-
of the Lord would fall in this case, because it's at the beginning of
-
wisdom. It's the fear of the Lord. And if we had some people
-
with a proper understanding God of just who they're fooling around with her. I
-
wonder if they wouldn't have a little bit out of it and man different attitudes,
-
if their aspects and outlooks wouldn't have changed, and they wouldn't have submitted
-
a long time ago one Gli, they one live at the Master. Won't
-
let you know you don't want to fool around with God? What live for
-
the Master? We'll let you tell a man come who dies. That's not
-
cry up, and there's one because that at theun of many wonders, and
-
ain't don cry Holy holy die? Yea lights on? You're falling without lights
-
on. You're messing with out fabbs one and twenty four because I called ye?
-
This is specific. What did Jesus say? Ye? Ye, individuals
-
I've called, and ye have refused. I've stretched out my hand, and
-
no man regarded. But ye have said a naught, my counselor, And
-
I'm not on my reproof. Also will laugh at your flamity, and I
-
will mock when your fear cometh. Oh God, Hey, he's been calling.
-
He's been asking come, you've been saying, I've called, I've drawed.
-
Oh, my old God, amember. Ye he refused? You refuse
-
an outstretched hand. I mean if I was to ask some of you amen
-
to hold your hand out, and then it's easy at first, and you
-
have tried, and it's really easy at first. Him and you stand there
-
for thirty minutes, it's not easy no more, Oh God. When God
-
gets weary of holding out his hand of mercy because you are disregarding and you
-
are refusing your risk, oh we'll pull a man, pluck your sorry net
-
behind right into the midst of verse twenty seven, and you'll say, when
-
your fear cometh as desolation. So there's your first time. They man,
-
you will be left deesselate time. When he's called, You'll be left desolate.
-
You'll be left dry and burn and broken. You'll be left without God,
-
in a desolate place, with no mercy, but no mother, no
-
caring God, no wan to care for yourself. Maybe you'll be left desolate.
-
But it goes on the same man. You'll bind up destruct you.
-
It'll come suddenly as a way we had. You'll feel real time, you'll
-
feel powered of it. You'll feel scattered, You'll feel abused because God does
-
not care. Oh God, I see, I'd like to pick something difference.
-
The Fuller with the Holy God have called, and ye have refused.
-
What will you do when he's called? What will be done for you?
-
In Mercy's clock takes faster today as the day of Salvasian. I was the
-
expected time. Oh, I got a load the priests and I but I'm
-
fel the presence of the Lord. And then I started to bring a clock
-
tonight, I mean a little illustration and set it up and ride, Amen,
-
and guess the maid when amen about the time in this serving for me
-
a man has live by the Lord. And go ahead and right, get
-
a little time, and let you watch. Amen o'clock, say him move
-
right closer and closer to get a little time, closer and closer to him
-
being gone and been. Friend, let me see what time it is,
-
friend, it is eight fifty two. If I was to tell you some
-
of you, and at eight fifty three, he would be gone. And
-
then, my god, it's eight fifty two and twenty seven seconds, twenty
-
eight seconds, twenty nine seconds, thirty one, thirty two thirty, My
-
daughter, if you could realize, never let out Jesus. Lord, there
-
there will come a time when you look for me, but I cannot be
-
found a time of your search. Let's see, but find out a savior.
-
We're living currently in the past tense. We are living currently in the
-
past ense. When Jesus came to earth and walked, and in these shores
-
he walked earth, and man, it's a lowly mortal, and in the
-
snow so much more. He healed it, and then he revived, he
-
delivered, He grow up to life. Amen, mad, praise God.
-
We are living in the past, hiens, it's already happened. But there
-
are those friends that lived in the present. You, friend, are living
-
in the presence of your mercy. But you could be the one that lives
-
in the past. Tense of opportunity. It is said he that will not
-
when he may, when he will, it shall be made. He then
-
will not when he may, when he will, it shall be made.
-
There will come a time where ayman all acknowledge him as Lord and Savior.
-
Amen. But for me he will be too late. Amen. There's another
-
saying here. Ben said, true repentance is off, not too late,
-
but late repentance is sel true. Over Genesis and six and three the Bible
-
did save, and the Lord said, my spirit shall not always strive with
-
man. There is a line that can be crossed. And Jesus said him,
-
and in verse thirty four, praise God. Where I am thither he
-
cannot come. It is just for a God to forsake those but think his
-
presence a burden. It is just for a just God to forsake those that
-
thinketh presens a burning up. The be a burden for you to be convicted.
-
They be a burner for you thing a being prays God, throw up,
-
God'll for sake to you. You're the speak of a stay ray to
-
to speak of it, I grow up a funny. I'm said, you
-
don't leave this struggling with myself? Is He's with your distis and sent for
-
passions. Friend, Heaven would not be heaven because to some of you you're
-
sick and twisted. Heaven would resemble, Oh Lord, like soder my God.
-
If you, lady, what you want to know what I'm tried to
-
say to you? You like field, you like sail, You like seven
-
the God, so heaven to you, and it is your sail. It's
-
what you enjoy. What I enjoy, the holy help of God's the wors
-
of a holy God. That's not the heaven you Heaven? Did you desire
-
Heaven? We all say, oh what a place to God, Brother Jesse
-
Phil seven forty seven. Up tomorrow, go down to Miami and fly that
-
dude to heaven and see how many of them like heaven. They wouldn't like
-
praising God continually, They wouldn't like kneeling before Holy God. I said,
-
Holy, Holy, Holy, toward eternity. That's what it's gonna consist of.
-
Not this fifth thought. The case love is a lust of the flesh,
-
and the world desires. Brother Philip, you read up to us first
-
Entunel sixteen and fourteen. But the spirit of the Lord departed from Saul,
-
and an evil spirit from the Lord. Listen, priend, you're tried knowing
-
things above your pay grade. I have this in my numb You don't believe
-
me, right there? Tell you what that says. Amen. January seventh,
-
twenty twenty four. Amen, he's gone Sunday afternoon. Here is a
-
consequence, friend, of what you're fooling with. Matthew twelve. Amen,
-
Matthew twelve. The Bible said of nothing Samuel, but the spirit of the
-
Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him.
-
Matthew twelve. Opens our eyes further you a spiritual look at what happened to
-
saw in our text Iman. I walked you through and in the departure of
-
Jesus because I wanted you to understand and see the finality of his words spoken
-
to them and John chapter number seven, that he would depart and they would
-
not be able to find him. This is what's left you when he's gone.
-
Matthew twelve forty three. When the uncleared clean spirit is gone out of
-
a man, he walketh through dry places seeking rest and findeth none. Then
-
he saith, I will return under my house from whence I came out.
-
And when he is come, he findeth it empty. If day swept and
-
garnessed. If day he's gone, he's evacuated, he left the desert,
-
he luck it bare. If God, it's all that's left you when he's
-
gone, avoid space for the devil to occupy for an evil spirit of feeling
-
and trouble you and begs you. They'll leave you in a loading fielder without
-
your state of day. We'll say, if five or six said, they
-
shall go with their fuck and with their hearts to seek the Lord, but
-
they shall not Fightee. He has to throw it out from them. God
-
forbid, Brother Jesse. There could come a time you come to church and
-
you get fed and watered and feel by the power of God. And I
-
come with the flocks and the heart to clear up, and God that turns
-
up for me. They can reach a word that's strengthness and have the whole
-
congregation. But not they right, they shall go where their flocking, with
-
their herds to seek the lern, but they shout up, finding why because
-
he's gone, because he's withdrew himself, because they'll have no pleasure there to
-
turn back. He walked. Hugh delivered Race from the dead, and priests
-
hope for oh who imprinted while on this earth live for thirty three years.
-
But there came a time he bowed his head and gave up the ghost,
-
committing his spirit to the hand of the Father. What will you do when
-
mercy bows its head in submission to judgment, it says, Lord, I'm
-
out, I'm out of here, and it dies in your life? What
-
will you do with convention that you fed a present health to draw you to
-
the Lord? It so is such as these, It's dead in your life
-
when the love of God is dead in your life with the power of God
-
and down in your life it's withdrawn You love desolate, and all you can
-
do is wait un destruction, that desert, nation and despair and wish.
-
What will you do when the spirit no long withdraws from your home? The
-
spirit is worn justice, Jesus warned him in verse, and then thirty three
-
get a little while, and then I go, he said, seek me
-
well, I may be found he is called and being gracious and merciful,
-
Oh God, and the beauty of this Amen. And then I pull.
-
I don't know about this, but maybe this will help you. And the
-
beauty of this is just what brother road Cat preach. Because here in seven
-
he says, you had a little while. They remember. Then, talking
-
to his disciples, he says, as I have spoke to the Jews,
-
get a little while I go and remember. Then he says, Praise God.
-
You can't go with me right now, and remember afterward. Afterward it
-
shall go. Oh, praise God, Praise God. Right now, Hey,
-
man, if I can preach the flip side of this side and preached
-
on he's gone. But I'm going now. They yes. Then, for
-
the child of God love, he is of us always, even to the
-
end of the earth. For those that have acknowledged him of them, it's
-
shut in a supreme authority and let him have launch him in their lives.
-
But those that hang on the lifestylear side of him, and he'll lay the
-
fire and put the rain file. I quit them all. He is ever
-
president, having the lives and futures of those who submit to his authority and
-
supreme governing. But for those who reject him, they shall know a different
-
side of his departure. Oh, Matthew twenty five and forty one said,
-
then shall we say, also under them on the left hand he part from
-
me, he cursed into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.
-
Well like reading Luke thirteen am at twenty seven. But he shall say,
-
I tell you I know you are. I know you not which ye
-
are? Where do you come from? I'd been around there? I don't
-
know. Oh God, your brother Jacob. Amen, when I come from
-
the walmart of label, what's he want to say? Oh? I know
-
where that's at. I work there. I'll make my occupation there. I
-
help, I clean, I work, I restore it. But here,
-
he says, unto them, I know not which you are. I never
-
been there. The Bible tells her the story that said, Amen, Lord,
-
did you not walk up and dinner house? Do we not do anybody
-
works in your name apart for me? All you workers of iniquity. Oh,
-
you can sit a little bit every day. It's okay to fool around
-
and frustrate the grace of God with a little bit of sin. You part
-
from me, You that walk iniquity you gotta have. There shall be weeping
-
and gnashing her teeth. That's what's left for you, Oh God, where
-
he's going, while he is with you, you must come get a little
-
while I'm with you. Ye shall seek me, he said at thirty four,
-
and shall not find me. And whether I am hither, ye cannot
-
come. Ye cannot come. A passage of burning. The unconsecrated shall in
-
no wise into him while the door is open, will you will you come?
-
Will you find him? Or be left standing without the room of mercy,
-
Brother Jesse, yours the ben how a pastor feels, and we can
-
get assault the manner they matter. If we just need to pray, it's
-
the mercy of God. You better hope of what may give it through you
-
better hope it wasn't my God, Brother Philip, when I was a sinner,
-
always respond I didn't take no chances. And there's some chance takers here
-
tonight. And God's about to leave you with it. You're about to roll
-
a man. His brother Leon Buzzard preach, snake eyes. You're about to
-
roll a man to take too many chances. The spirit speaking expressed it to
-
the church. Yet a little while, and I will be gold and you
-
shall not come thither. Do you realize you're about to have a permanent isolation
-
from the presence of God? To individuals, he said, yet a little
-
while to ye and abuse denied them. Let have not committed yourself to God
-
yet a little while? You could sit there and fool everybody. Were that
-
like im preacher? They give you may your papa. It's gonna strike past
-
me. Today is the day of south Asid, and now is the accepted
-
time. What doest thou me? Right now? How earth do you want
-
me to target? Now? I'm gonna tell you where relations twenty two and
-
twenty eight? Man fill these altars up with a broken heart, he said.
-
He was testified these things, saying, surely I come quickly. Another
-
person in the Bible, he said, who's fan is in his hand?
-
And he will thoroughly purse his fushing floor, and the chap shall be burnt
-
with fire, unquenchable. He's gold friend, but he's coming. He's called
-
for him, but he's coming. You'll make an evaluation, you'll be weighed
-
in the balance and be found walting, and then you'll be fine, and
-
you'll find yourself in a place and then with a lack of God again,
-
a permanent isolation from God, a permanent isolation from God. You get a
-
little time one of it expires at the end of this altar service? Will
-
it be right with God? One of it expires it five minutes? Will
-
you be right but right with God? Or are you gonna continue to fall
-
around? Are you not gonna get it under the blood? Are you gonna
-
keep taking changes with the mercy of God dealing down? Lean in the hin
-
of touchment instead of walking through the doors of mercy? Somebody for it,
-
said God? Somebody, amen, rent your heart? Do you know what
-
rent is? To tear it? Your mickey mouse pairs aren't going to cut
-
it. I ain't gonna cook up your elbow. Ain't gonna fix it.
-
You have to repent. You have to rent, and you have to commit
-
it to God and let God do away with it. Here about time I
-
suck. You get a little while and then I go, and where I
-
go, you won't be able to come get it fixed before he leaves.
-
I bet you get it fixed before he leaves. In Jesus' name through the
