The Lord for meeting with us already, then you will for the pastor for
-
given me the opportunity behind his sacred guests. We'll be turning to UH John
-
thirteen and fifteen. UH. If I were to title this message, I
-
would title U examine your examples expectations. UH. John thirteen fifteen says,
-
for I have given you an examples that you should do as I have done
-
to you one of the verses. The other verses in the seconds thirteen and
-
five says, examine yourself, whether you be in the faith your own selves
-
know you not your own selves know that Jesus Christ is in you, except
-
but I trust that you shall know that we are not rep A mind went
-
to the definition of examine. It's to inspect someone or something in detail,
-
to determine their nature or condition, investigate thoroughly. And by reading this scripture,
-
we are to examine ourselves. Yes, we're to look at ourselves,
-
see or where we're supposed to be. But then we are to look at
-
our examples, whether that be astor or maybe somebody else. We are to
-
examine what their lives are like, what their expectations for us are, what
-
they want us to become above all. We're supposed to look at Jesus Christ
-
as an exact. We're supposed to pattern our life after his. I believe
-
that the twelve disciples all started out when they said, guests, i'll follow
-
you. They saw an example, they saw something they wanted to pattern as.
-
Not all of them stuck with it, but we see that they did.
-
They first off, they saw something. They saw something in Jesus that
-
they saw nobody else. And I see something in my pastor that I don't
-
see. I go to all these other churches country wide. I don't see
-
this. I don't see or hear the anointing that is supposed to be.
-
We see that pastor sees something in us that we don't even see in ourselves.
-
We see that he sees future missionaries, preachers, singers, musicians,
-
He sees something that's worth preaching for. And I believe every sermon he puts
-
at least four hours in, if not more. And he dedicates his life,
-
he dedicates his health, he dedicates every being that he has to us.
-
And I believe he hears from God. He is a prophet. And
-
when he says that the Lord's told him something, that's God speaking to you.
-
He's just using the oracle of Pastor. We are not to look out
-
in the world for examples. I have a strong burden for at least one.
-
I believe someone in here's looking out. They want to leave, they're
-
looking for a reason. Don't do it. Pastors put too much into you.
-
You don't want to see you leave. Just because he steps on your
-
toes don't mean he's trying to get you gone. He's trying to show you
-
where you're you're failing, where you need to do better. He don't want
-
you to leave. I don't want to see nobody leave. If you backslide,
-
it said that it's harder to get back in my mind. Went to
-
the prodigal son. He thought there was something out there for the world didn't
-
meet his expectations. That he didn't get what he was expecting. But thankfully
-
he found his way home. He found his way back to the father's house.
-
So don't go out in the world. You won't find nothing out there
-
that you are wanting that you'll enjoy. Look look for examples in the house
-
of God. Go through the bi well, there's tons of examples that you
-
can pattern after. I just don't want nobody to go back. I did
-
once, thankful, I did come back at some point, but it was
-
bad. It was definitely way harder to get back. Stay strong in the
-
faith. Don't don't look. Don't look outside of this church or the Bible
-
for your examples, and look at what your examples want you to come.
-
Look at where they want you to go. Pastor, he cares about us
-
a lot. He puts so much time and effort into us, and then
-
some of us are just gonna turn away. I don't do it. He
-
cared too much, he put too much work into it. Yea, even
-
if we thank the Lord for the Word of God, grace God tonight for
-
the stair, as you would get ready and then come on around, I'll
-
stretch your hands forward heaven and ask God to help him to stare at the
-
severess the word to us, to leave a thank you where He's God.
-
I appreciate that burden. I appreciate influence the title my son with a wonderful
-
title and good preaching on the word. I'm thankful for Pastor. How truly
-
he is a man of God and a prophet. It is it is an
-
honor and privilege to stay behind the secret that it's a blessing to have pastor
-
how even sister, how their testimony, their their teaching, their everything that
-
they do, and a lot of things that we don't see, that they
-
are doing the prayers, in the studying, and and you know, behind
-
closed schools. I'm thankful to put out. And that is for a lot
-
of churches don't have that, they have sermonettes, and and just it's just
-
not right. It's to me, it's not it's not biblical. It's not
-
a house of guys. They're not truly men or women of God. But
-
pastor house sister, how are cruiant men and women of God. And in
-
their family, what a blessing, children and grand even their grand babies,
-
what a blessing. As I was praying and seeking the Lord on this message,
-
I'm again to wonder, so have got confirmation by the Holy Ghost.
-
A change of title for this message. Let's let's turn to Acts twenty eight.
-
We'll be reading from verse twenty four through twenty seven, and then we'll
-
be turning to Luke twenty four, verses twenty five and thirty two, and
-
some of these you may have heard these verses recently. Baking baron lud you
-
stand for the reason of the word message. Some believe the things which were
-
spoken, and some believed not. And when they agreed not among themselves,
-
they departed. After the call had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy
-
Ghost by Isaiah the prophet unto her father's saying go into this people, and
-
saying, hearing, ye shall hear, and shall not understand, and seeing
-
ye shall see, and not proceed for the heart of this people, as
-
wax grows, and their ears are dull of hearing. Now their eyes have
-
they closed. Least they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears,
-
and understand what their hearts and should be converted, and I should heal
-
them twenty four Verses twenty four through five. Twenty four Versus twenty five says.
-
Then he said, under them, old fools and slow of heart to
-
believe all that the prophets have spoken thirty two says. And they said with
-
one to another, that not our heart burn within us. While he yet
-
talk with us by the way, and while he opened to us, while
-
hoping to us descriptions. And you see it, several things that stuck out
-
to me there in these passages, and going back to Acts twenty eight.
-
As we as we read that, and some believe in verse twenty four,
-
and some believe the things which were spoken, and some believe not. I
-
know, as holy as Christians, we should probably be the most believing people
-
more than anyone, because you know, the according to His Holy Word,
-
to live holy, to be holy, and it's it's And as I thought
-
about the title was gonna make it believe it or not? But I felt
-
the Holy Ghost changed that today to the burning begotten, bold and believing.
-
Wow. And in that there was the man that said, Lord, I
-
believe, help my unbelief. And how many times the disciples told Jesus,
-
we believe, and we know and we are certain that thou in Christ,
-
the Son of God. And yet they would have fear, they would they
-
would do things that displease the Lord, and he had to rebuke them and
-
correct them. Praise God. I'm thankful for rebuking and corrected. And we
-
know that we have a heavenly Father that chastises those he loves. And we
-
know that we have a loving pastor that corrects us. Amen steps on our
-
toes when they need steps off where heise God. I'd rather any step on
-
my toes that that I walk into hell fire. You know, a lot
-
of a lot of churches, a lot of pastors will love their congregation to
-
hell because they're that they're not concerned about their soul. They don't have a
-
burden more even for that one lost sheep. And I appreciate that burden.
-
And maybe this is for that one cheat to believe. And I'm gonna turn
-
there to second test loanings. But on the subject of believing, we know
-
that people believe in many things. And I was looking up to definition just
-
to be certain that I hadn't messed something about believing. And they're in Webster's
-
Unabridged Dictionary. It says to credit upon authority or testimony, to be persuaded
-
of the truth of upon declaration, or upon the evidence furnished confidence, hope,
-
and trust. And if any of you got those great big Websters Underbridged
-
English Dictionary, I love how they. Noah Webster, he was a Christian
-
man. He would always include Bible verses with that definition. And he gives
-
Psalms twenty seven thirteen says I had fainted unless I believe to see the goodness
-
of the Lord in the land of the living. Amen, you better not
-
be faith you don't want to be part of the fallen away as God.
-
I'm there. In a little note in that dictionary said in theology, one
-
who gives credit to the truth of description, Amen, Jesus is the Way,
-
the truth, and the life. Yes, And if no name comes
-
into the Father but by him, and it says as a revelation from God.
-
Man. The Greek word says to have faith, respect, to trust,
-
to commit, So when we believe in something, we have faith towards
-
it, respect, trust, and we commit to what we believe in.
-
And it was looking at the Hebrew word for belief, and it almost looks
-
like the word amen. When the pastor is preaching, I believe, Amen,
-
Holy Raised God. But he needs to render the firm faithful, trust,
-
assurance, steadfast and just knowing. A lot of people look at the
-
word amen, and and some believe it to means certainly or it is so,
-
so be it truly. But it's just an agreement. So when we
-
stand behind the freaker and we amenam, we're believing what he says, in
-
agreement with what he says. And you know, so we want to to
-
believe and we do believe in what he's saying, or we wouldn't be coming
-
here, right, We wouldn't want And it's not like Ripley's believe it or
-
not. You know who deals in the bizarre events, strange and unusual.
-
You know that that would cause you to question, you know, you believe
-
that this person who's like ten foot calm. I don't know what the record
-
is on Hyathan. If there's these great achievements, these rarities, in these
-
things that people believe in, and you know, we might ask what determines
-
what we believe? Now, I'm Kinlata foundation here because I know we believe,
-
but I don't want there to be help my unbelief. We've got to
-
believe, but it's a variety of factors included in our upbringing. Parents,
-
what your children are brought up with, the believing is what they're going to
-
believe. Amen. I don't want to leave my children to the things of
-
the world, the music, the entertainment, and that's what a lot of
-
parents in the world do. They set their kids in front of the TV.
-
They let the TV, the computer, the video games and the mews
-
that teach their children all these ungodly things. And then we wonder, and
-
then they wonder why they come up the way they do. It's education.
-
The second one personal experience. Praise God for miracles and testimonies. The personal
-
education the education that we get from our Sunday school teacher, our pastor,
-
personal experience and exposures to different perspectives. But it's based on the knowledge.
-
And Pastor had a message recently about the vision twenty twenty. Your belief is
-
based on your vision, amen, intuition, and attitude. What makes something
-
a belief, something that you believe or accept is true. Now a lot
-
of people believe in things that are not true. They believe in a lie
-
God forbid. Some people believe in opinions and assumptions or facts. But ultimately
-
we better believe in what God says, what the pastor says. Man,
-
and I know that He believes in each and every one of us that he
-
puts into us, or he wouldn't put his time and energy his and his
-
brother Samuel said, his health, you know, his his life is you
-
know everything that he does. So and then the one other thing here before
-
we get back into the scriptures, things that people believe in, and these
-
are these are things that maybe and some of you believe in this. There's
-
an altharer. People believe in aliens and big launchless monsters. The pastor mentioned
-
about it by the Grinch that got in trouble because parents wanted their children to
-
believe in six sent a lie and even to get upset and and get ira
-
because they wanted their children to believe in a lie. You got the Easter
-
Buddy and tooth faery lf on the shelf. Some would say the earth being
-
flat nine to eleven didn't happen, the Holocaust didn't happen. And even some
-
have been kicked out of school or college or even some problems in in their
-
office of government for not accepting more than one gender. And they I can't
-
even believe that. At one point, either in the House or the Senate,
-
they were they were arguing over the fact that need could have babies and
-
then don't have babies. The right, sister, Grace Rcius don't lay eggs.
-
And but you know, some people will believe that they believe in certain
-
political science and drugs and use media, et cetera. And there's so much
-
garbage out there that people are willing to believe in. But when it comes
-
to the truth of God's word right now and then, and they don't.
-
They don't believe, not all, but some the Bible here says, and
-
some believe the things which were spoken, and some believe. Time gonna turn
-
here at the John read some more verses here, turn into John three,
-
very popular verse. We're gonna start at verse fifteen. A lot of people
-
like they love John three sixteen. We're gonna start with John three fifteen.
-
He says that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
-
For God's loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that
-
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God
-
sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the
-
world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned,
-
but he that believeth not is condemned already because he had not believed in
-
the name of the only begotten Son of God. The man Jesus is begotten.
-
And I felt the Holygos in that kit of saying burning begotten boldness and
-
believing, And in verse thirty six have also reconfirms that he that believeth on
-
the Son hath everlasting life. And he that believeth not the son not see
-
life, but the wrath of God abide is on him. Now, I
-
don't want anyone to get confused about the the false doctrine and teaching of easy
-
believe, believed, believe is the all right, They believe that all you
-
got to do is believe. We know that the devils believe, and they
-
fear and tremble, but they're not going to heaven. That's because you believe
-
in something. And one of the things that the modern Bibles, it's probably
-
my second biggest pet heave of these false Bibles. The first one is they
-
removed the Holy Ghost, spirit of truth, the comfort. You won't find
-
the word holy ghost, and just about no. I've never seen any modern
-
Bible, but here in John three point sixteen it says for God to love
-
the world that he gave is only begotten son, that whosoever believing in him
-
they put shall not perish, instead of should not perish. If you look
-
at John fifteen three fifteen, it also says should not. God is not
-
willing that any should perish. But there's more than disbelieving we know the Gospel.
-
There is repentance. There is a turning from the things in this world
-
are turning to God. So there must be repentance. And I'm gonna turn
-
to another place here. We're gonna go rap through John here a little bit.
-
Let's turn to John twelve, read verses thirty seven through fifteen. But
-
though he done so many miracles before them, yet they believe not on him.
-
I'm gonna stop there for a moment. I remember one image and I'll
-
never get it out of my head. Was a atheist man, and I
-
was justifying, trying to witness to him and win him over to the Lord.
-
And I was just a young Christian and anybody that just drives their vehicle.
-
Now as you see a deer, the deer sees the headlights and just
-
kind of stop and stare. You know, That's where this atheist was.
-
He just had that stare like a deer in headlights. And it was because
-
his mind wasn't working. It was, but it wasn't. And when I
-
say that, I mean he believed my testimony, but he didn't believe in
-
God. So he's believing and he's not believing. He's trying to he's not
-
registering, so he said, he's just had a stare in a trance.
-
And it scared me. As a young Christian. I couldn't I didn't understand
-
it at the time, and even to this day, I still have a
-
hard time. I was telling him Pastor recently, there's a few men in
-
our Bible study that are very carn only mind you, and I believe they
-
would actually ask the very things that was asked there. And John three,
-
you know, can can a person climb back into their mother's booming? When
-
I've read that the first time in God's Word, I scratched my head.
-
Surely there's somebody not that messed up. You know, if people they're messed
-
up like that, they really are. And uh, but what scared me
-
was the fact that they should. They can't even eat the milk of the
-
word. They choking on the milk all the churches, that's all they give
-
the milk. They don't even get into spiritual me and and I believe it's
-
because these modern perversion Bibles that are out there, and they can't even swallow
-
the milk. But Paul Warren, Timothy, they'll come that day when they
-
won't be able to endure some doctrine will heat to themselves teachers having engineers,
-
and so we definitely want to believe and to study to show ourself to proof.
-
I'm here, I'm going to continue reading here, that the saint of
-
Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled which he spake, Lord, who hath believed
-
our report? And to whom is the arm of the Lord been revealed?
-
Therefore they could not believe, because that Isaiah said again he had blinded their
-
eyes, he had hardened their hearts, that they should not see with their
-
eyes, nor understand with their hearts, and be converted. And I should
-
heal them. These things said Isaiah when he saw his glory, and he
-
spake of him. Nevertheless, among the chief rulers also many believed on him,
-
but because of the Pharisees, they did not confess him. These they
-
should be put out as synagogues. Now that's pretty many stuff he believed and
-
gets put out of church. Or they love the praises of men more than
-
the praises of God. Amen, I don't want to be one of these,
-
to be seen of men, or have the praises of men. You
-
know, they were talking about this in Bible study. You know, what
-
will people say when you're dad, Well, I hope they don't remember me,
-
but I hope they remember the way of salvation. I hope they remember
-
Jesus Christ, because I nobody. All I want to hear is enter end
-
our good and faithful servant. It's not about you know, creating a legacy
-
or some of these other things, and not saying that those things happen.
-
Because there's great men of God or women of God. But we're not in
-
it for that. And Jesus Christ and said, he that believeth on me,
-
believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he
-
that seeth me sees him that I am come alighted to the world, that
-
whosover believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear
-
my words and believe not, I judge him not, for I'm come not
-
to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejected me
-
and received not my words, that's one that judges him. The word I
-
have spoken the same shall judge him in the last days. For I'm not
-
spoken of myself, but the Father which sent me, He gave me a
-
commandment that I should say and what I should speak, that I know that
-
His commandment his life everlasting, whatsoever I speak. Therefore, even as the
-
fathers said unto me, so as meek. Now these letters are all and
-
read, and Christ spoke. He's talking about believing about those that you know
-
whosover believed in me. Should not abide in darkness, those that hear his
-
words. You not to reject him, those that have received him. A
-
man, I want to be one that receives the word of God. And
-
if you're not believing, how you're gonna receive? Amen. We know Romans
-
ten ten. For with the heart a man believeth unto righteousness, and with
-
the mouth confession is made in the salvation. But sadly we live in a
-
world, as we are familiar with Second Corinthians. But if the Gospel be
-
hid, it's hid under them that are lost, in whom the God of
-
this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe God. Least a lot
-
of the glorious Gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should
-
shine unto them. But we know that the devils believe. Thou Is James
-
two nineteen thou believest that there is one God, thou doest well. The
-
devils also believe in Trimble and we know and also that the evil spirits they're
-
in Acts nineteen fifty. They knew who Jesus was and who Paul was a
-
man. And yet people claim they don't believe in God, claim to be
-
an atheist. And sometimes you don't realize that you backslade. I've seen some
-
backsliders go so far back they just they forget God, they give up on
-
God. They go back into the world, and it's to their own destruction
-
through the whole demise. But you say, well, a Christian, I
-
believe and praise God. You guess we better believe. But we're read here,
-
and most of you are familiar with Thomas of the twelfth Gnamus read here
-
in John twenty. He was not with them when Jesus came, and the
-
other disciples said, of it, unto him, we have seen the Lord.
-
But he said, out of them, except I shall see in his
-
hands the print of the nalls, and put my finger into the print of
-
the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
-
Now here was a disciple, And you know here have denied Christ for
-
times. I'm always blown away by that, because you know, Jesus allowed
-
him to walk on water. That'd be hard to forget. But yet here
-
is Thomas and he's doing the same things. I will not believe. Let
-
the words never come out of any of our mount And after eight days the
-
disciples were with him again, and Thomas with him. And then came Jesus
-
through the doors being shut and stood in the midst amen and said, peace
-
be unto you. And the brother was talking about we're two or three together
-
Jesus in the midst and you believed Jesus. Maybe he's sitting back here by
-
brother Kyler. Oh yeah, he's sitting there by sister Crazy brother john Or
-
and he's waving aback and he's watching, he's listening. You know, are
-
they really believing? I'm saying, man, I don't want him to the
-
question me and say someone that's slow the heart. And he's talking about going
-
back here to Luke. He says, old fools of slow of heart to
-
believe all that the prophets have spoken. Man, when the pastor's preaching,
-
and as a pastor or a prophet, and we don't believe what he says
-
I mean, are we looking are we being seen as fools? Right?
-
Because if we can't believe the pastor or the prophet, and if he's in
-
line with the Holy Ghost, what God's saying, and you're not just you're
-
not just doubting the pastor, but you've gotting God a man. And so
-
we do have to be careful about things like that, because when I see
-
that word fools, that's strong, yes, Because when you read in Songs
-
nineteen and one and Psalms fifty three of the one it says looks fool,
-
it's said in his heart that there is no God. They are corrupt,
-
we men have done, vominable, and one place says it works. The
-
other one says iniquity, my God, and there's nothing to do with good.
-
Amen. So there there's there's things that are going with that. A
-
fool, corrupt, abominable, I don't want to, I don't And that's
-
that's associated with the sin of unbelieve. And then and there's it reminds me
-
also the two places there in Matthew twenty three and says woe to you fools
-
and the blind Verses seventeen and nineteen again to be associated with these fools.
-
I don't I want to be associated with a fool or an atheist or slab
-
and like. And then that one other place there in Luke twelve twenty,
-
where he says, thou, fool thy soul shall be required of these?
-
Those are those are very I don't. I don't want any appointing here here
-
enter in thou good and faithful. I don't he go away that foolish you
-
know, I never knew you. You work are iniquity. I forbid any
-
of us here those things. But a lot of them said, Lord,
-
did we do these things in your name? Asking out devils? And these
-
miracles and signs and wonders. And a lot of times people think they're the
-
ones doing it, and it's not. That's not the case, you know,
-
it's God uses us us, you know, to reach out to people,
-
to laying of hands, you know, the further prayer of the righteous
-
of Elisimus. And I remember retired at work as a young Christian witness into
-
a last center, and he wanted his eyes and me. His eyes were
-
messed up, but he had he believed. He says, pray for me.
-
He said, I know God can heal them. And I knew it
-
was nothing in me. But as I'm praying for him, I'm praying inside
-
my head or please help him because I've been witnessing them. I'm praying that
-
prayer in my head and I'm praying verbally, Lord, he'll in't touch,
-
you know, bringing heal into his eyes. And instantly his eyes were healed,
-
and I praised God for that praise. Could I really believe nothing that
-
I did? But he had enough believe in faith? And how many times
-
has Jesus come to those says does I believe that I can? He's always
-
questioning where our belief is, and so where is our belief? And it's
-
important that as holiness, you know, I know that I don't want us
-
to get overconfident in our beliefs. But the have we do have confidence praise
-
God, and we can't have that boldness to come to the Throne of God
-
for our needs. And I'm painful for that. But at the same time,
-
I don't want our belief to be so familiar that we be like Thomas
-
and we say, you know, I will not believe just because Jesus isn't
-
there at them at the time. And sometimes when we're going through a battle
-
or try or trouble. You know, if we're not careful, we may
-
be praying that we believe, we're seeking God for things that we want to
-
have, but we're doubting. We're praying on help, Lord, please do
-
this need or meet this need. And yes, he hurt us day one.
-
But you know, sometimes we don't get that answer. We start to
-
doubt. In the back of our head. God forbid one of us ever
-
die, whether God heal us or not. To believe that he's gonna do
-
what he said. He's gonna heal us. And even if he don't,
-
praise God, you get that healing in heaven. You're gonna get it eventually,
-
right, and then if you stay faithful and true to God. So
-
but I'm thankful here going on here RIKL Thomas Verse twenty seven, Reach hill
-
thy finger and behold my hands. Yes, and reach hiller thy hand and
-
thrust it into my side, and be not faithless, but believe me.
-
And Thomas answered, and set under him, my Lord and my God.
-
And Jesus said, under him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me,
-
thou hast believed. Bless are they that have not seen and yet have believed,
-
and I thought about using that word bless but holy burning begotten boldness and
-
believing. We're gonna have to have some boldness in our believing. I think
-
for who we are gonna be afflicted and we are gonna be tried. This
-
a good year, bad year, it doesn't matter. We need to be
-
ready. We need to be burning fire with the holy ghost fire within us,
-
and to have that forgotten boldness in believing, the boldness in believing and
-
knowing that God is faithful to his word, because without with all these doubts
-
and unbelieving, that's sin. And he said, I said there in John
-
A twenty four, I said, therefore, unto you that He shall die
-
your sins, or if you believe not that I am He, you shall
-
die in your sins. I can't imagine any holiness Christian, basically this church
-
doubting in Christ and to die in their sins. But I know they've been
-
warning and prophecy and things, and God forbid. You know, I wouldn't
-
want any brother or sister. I believe in all those I've lived in everyone,
-
all examples and graces, and definitely we belong to a strong believing church
-
here in second Thessalonians two ten midway through ten through twelve and says, because
-
they receive not the love of the truth, truth, that they might be
-
saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they
-
should believe alive, that they all might beat damn too, believe not the
-
truth, but had pleasure and unrighteousness. And then that might reminds me of
-
that verse in Romans won. You know, they had pleasure in sin,
-
knowing the judgment of God God will did, and not you know, not
-
believe what not to believe or eat the warnings of God, knowing that the
-
judgment could come. You ray best be ready because I know that. You
-
know the pastor already said. You know the judgment begins in the house of
-
God. And we know that the simple believe every word there in Proverbs fourteen
-
fifteen. You know there's people that are believing in all kinds of stuff on
-
the on the news of the You know again, these things that are on
-
the radio, and there's so many things of the world, and they're not
-
the truth of God's word. I'm no criminal. One last close much longer
-
here. The first John five one through fifteen says whosoever believeth that Jesus is
-
Christ, is born of God. And everyone that loveth Him that beget loveth
-
him also that is the begotten of Him, that begotten word. That I
-
know. The Holy girls hit on that by this we know that we love
-
the that we love the children of God. When we love God and keep
-
his commandments. This is the love of God, that we keep his commandments,
-
and his commandments are not grievous. Or whatsoever is born of God overcometh
-
the world. And this is the victory. Praise God. Yes, and
-
overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world,
-
That he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God. This is
-
he that came by the water and the blood, even Jesus Christ. Not
-
by water only, but by water and blood. It is the Spirit that
-
bears witness, because the Spirit is true. For there are three that bear
-
record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost.
-
And these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in the
-
earth, the Spirit and the Water and the Blood. And these three agree
-
in one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God
-
is greater. For this is the witness of God, that which he hath
-
testified of his son. He that believeth on the Son of God has witnessed
-
in himself. And he that believeth by God hath made himself a liar because
-
he believeth not the record that God gave him his son. There's a lot
-
of false religions. And this is the record that God hath given to us
-
eternal life. And this is the life is in his son. And he
-
that hath the Son hath life. And he that hath not the Son of
-
God hath not life. These things that are written unto you that believe on
-
the name of the Son of God, that you may know that he have
-
eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of
-
God. And this is the confidence that we have in Him. If we
-
ask anything according to his will, he hears about man. I'm thankful that
-
he hears us. More great more we can hear him if we know that
-
he hears us whatsoever we ask. We know that we have the petitions that
-
we desire of him. Mannie Man see his brother sin a sin which is
-
not unto death. He shall ask and he shall give him life for them
-
that that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death. I
-
do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin,
-
and there is a sin not unto death. We know that whosoever is born
-
of God sin, and not that he that has begotten of God keep of
-
himself, and the wicked one toucheth him not. And we know that we
-
are of God and the whole world life and wickedness. And we know the
-
Son of God has come and have given us understanding that we may know him
-
that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in
-
his son, Jesus Christ. This is the true God and the colonel and
-
eternal life. Man, little children keep themselves from mid just knowing it's not
-
enough. I mean, I'm glad that we can't. We can't have an
-
understanding. We're we're believing in God, that we're truly seeking Him, as
-
you know pastors told us to do again, burning begotten that boldness of believer.
-
Where is our belief? I hope and pray that we're not that like
-
the man that says, Lord, I believe. I'm glad he was.
-
He was crying and man he was. He was he was believing that he
-
knew that his belief was not enough. So if you don't believe that your
-
belief is enough, if you're not strong in your belief, maybe you don't
-
understand your belief. Maybe we have some new converts and and you're still seeking
-
things of God. I know there's a growing and graces growing on that milk
-
of the word. Can we get to the spiritual needs? But there should
-
never be a faith. There should never be a falling away. We should
-
be steadfast, faithful and true and always believe even when we don't see that
-
the outcome coming good. But I'm thankful that we can believe and that God
-
is able to build us up to people in Christ and especially in these latter
-
times. We're going to be tested and we will believe if we're not.
-
And as we cloture, everyone can stand just you know, as examing your
-
faith, as you judge yourself to seek the Lord or your believe. Anyone
-
doesn't believe. I believe everyone believes, but that belief needs to be strong.
-
A lot of people have erred in the faith because of unbelieved. A
-
lot of people have walked away h they've been corrupted, They've been deceived.
-
And slow is slow, slow heart to believe. We don't want to be
-
slow and about slow heart to believe. We want to have true believes,
-
just to seek the Lord. And if you have anything in your your belief
-
in the walk. I remember one man he said he believed in God,
-
and then in his next breath and cursed God. You believe in God and
-
in purse God? Well, just because you say you believe, I mean,
-
if it's not a heart, there's a lot of people, as the
-
brother said, they honor him with their lips, but their heart's far from
-
them from So if we're saved, we believe, it better be in our
-
hearts. It better be with all our minds, all our soul, our
-
strength and love of God loving with our all. So and if it's if
-
you feel you're you're will need to be. I believe it may be that
-
one too, or river's not right there. Faith is being questioned and shaken.
-
Their heart's not in it, then they're not believing. You know,
-
if you really believe in God, you're gonna be willing to die for your
-
faith. You will be willing to do anything for God. I just pray
-
that we're all and and if we're not, let's pray for our unbelieving family.
-
Believe everything right with God, and you're certain. I know we've got
-
unbelieving family, unbelieving co workers. Let's pray for them. We all could
-
come and pray. HS S speak son S so S S S yes,
