  1. Some of you are getting excited already. Oh boy, he's preaching out of

  2. the Book of Acts tonight. May I direct your attention to the fourth chapter

  3. and the thirty third verse. I appreciate brother Philip owl drumming, playing those

  4. drums for the Lord. I'm sorry that after his third chemo therapy treatment that

  5. he's lost his hair. But I appreciate all of these brethren that have shaved

  6. their heads in his honor. This is truly indicative of great brotherly love.

  7. I appreciate you all for doing this, Brother Nathaniel. Ephesians chapter number two,

  8. versus number eight and nine. We miss brother Christian and Sister Lauren and

  9. their precious family tonight, don't we? Brother Jesse. James, chapter number

  10. six and verse number six. Brother Nathaniel, would you read that Ephesians chapter

  11. number two, versus number eight and well, by grace are you saved through

  12. faith and not of yourself? It is the gift of God, not of

  13. works, lest any man should boast. Amen. Did y'all hear that?

  14. Well? Brother Nathaniel, just read hold on to it. That's our first

  15. code text, Brother Jesse. Our second co text James, Chapter number four,

  16. Verse number six. Ye a daughters and adultresses, know ye not that

  17. the friendship of the word is enmity with God. Whosoever therefore will be a

  18. friend of the world is the enemy of God. How many of y'all believe

  19. that? What's gonna keep us from being such a person? Does anybody know?

  20. Grace? Amen? James? Chapter number four and verse number six was

  21. supposed to say, but he giveth more grace to the humble. Let me

  22. go and look and see where I wrote down the wrong verse? Okay,

  23. Jesse, saying pastors right, I read the wrong verse, Brother Jesse,

  24. that's the first time you've ever done it. The good news is it will

  25. not be the last time you've ever done it. And I'm glad I knew

  26. what you were supposed to be reading crazy the Lord and having of you like

  27. the way I put the spend on that said, how many of you don't

  28. want to be that kind of person? And what can keep you from it?

  29. A man? You know who we're representing up here, Jesus, right.

  30. So we wanted to be as smooth as possible, Brother Jesse. That

  31. thing happened that we all don't want to happen. But the Bible said in

  32. James, chapter number four and verse number six. But he giveth more grace.

  33. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace unto the

  34. humble. Now letting me humble myself. I had said James, chapter number

  35. six, first number six, and brother Jesse, being gracious to me,

  36. was whispering to me. His brother Nathaniel read his coat takes and saying,

  37. Dad, James chapter six and verse number six is non existent in the by

  38. Is that a correct statement? Okay? So we all made some mistakes,

  39. and I tried to cover mine up, felt guilty about it, went ahead

  40. and told on myself. So the brothers, I'm not the only one.

  41. He's not the only one tonight. But we're not going to make any mistakes

  42. from this point on. I pray that the Holy Ghost will help us.

  43. Let's stand for the reading of our Golden Text Acts chapter number four, verses

  44. number thirty three and thirty four. The Bible says, and with great power

  45. gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace

  46. was upon them all. Neither was there any among them that lacked, For

  47. as many as were possessors of lands or houses, sold them and brought the

  48. prices of the things that were sold. Let's go ahead read the following verse,

  49. and laid them down at the apostle. Speed and distribution was made unto

  50. every man according as he had need, which you pray with us tonight.

  51. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the opportunity to come into your house.

  52. We thank you for the privilege to preach the word. I pray that you

  53. would anoint these lips of clay, set a guard at my mouth, and

  54. help me to say the things that you would have me to say, nothing

  55. more or less a nott the ears of this type people, that they might

  56. hear what it is the Spirit of God is saying up to this church right

  57. here at eleven fifty three Cordelia, driving LaBelle, Florida. I pray that

  58. these sayings of your word, the Holy Ghost would carry them down into the

  59. soul and the heart. I prayed, God, take them below the shoulders,

  60. not in the mind holding, but in that heart and soul where they

  61. go. I pray that you would help us nothing to be hearers only,

  62. but to heed what it is the Holy Ghost is beckoning us to do.

  63. We praise you for that we give you honor in glory, and may we

  64. depart this place joyfully and not sorrowfully. In Jesus' name. As you're being

  65. seated again, we will read Acts, chapter number four, verse number thirty

  66. three. The Bible says, and with great power gave the apostles witness of

  67. the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.

  68. If you were someone that underlines things in your Bible, which you underline,

  69. great power and great grace. Our text is found in a New Testament book

  70. of the Holy Bible, the Book of Acts. This book is the fifth

  71. book of the New Testament. It is a continuation of Saint Luke's Gospel.

  72. Saint Luke was the beloved physician and historian of Christianity. Saint Luke documented the

  73. history of the leaders of the early Church and their workings within that church.

  74. Therefore, he also documented the history of the church itself. During this period

  75. of time, the Gospel was spreading as a wildfire spreads throughout the Everglades.

  76. The gospel left the streets that surrounded the Upper Room and went as far as

  77. wrong. The catalyst and the fuel behind it was the Holy Ghost. After

  78. all, the Holy Ghost in his ministry is the theme of this sacred writing.

  79. Truly, the Holy Ghost was the catalyst that brought about this change of

  80. events within Judaism and Christianity. The Holy Ghost, reacting with grace caused the

  81. Gospel to spread rapidly. You have heard it said that an increase in church

  82. attendance was brought about due to an increase in persecution, or due to a

  83. revival that broke out, or due to the fact that conviction settled in after

  84. a tragedy. There have been times at persecution has been the catalyst of many

  85. things. There's been times of revival has been the catalyst to church growth.

  86. There's been times that conviction has been the catalyst to a man changing his ways

  87. and becoming a beautiful member of his family. All three of these agents can

  88. certainly grow our congregation, namely again, persecution, revival and conviction. Again.

  89. All three of these agents can certainly grow our congregation. But a genuine

  90. movement of the Holy Ghost of pure vanilla, true blue, great aim moving

  91. of the Holy Ghost will be the catalyst that brings the changes such as revival

  92. conviction into any group of people, including the Bethel Hole in his church and

  93. the members of the families within this local assembly, this great congregation of believers

  94. in South Florida. I thank God for great grace. I thank the Lord

  95. for great power. I want us to read our text again. If you'll

  96. look with me I Acts chapter number four and verse number thirty three. The

  97. Bible said, what else can I'm sorry, what else can bring forth sudden

  98. change in the lives of fellow Americans and their families? What else will bring

  99. changes to the local church family. Let's read Acts chapter number four and verse

  100. number thirty three. The Bible says, and with great power gave the apostles

  101. witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them

  102. all. Upon them all look at your neighbor and say, have you experienced

  103. great power? Ask them have you experienced great grace? If their answer was

  104. yes, then we praise the Lord. If their answer was no, they

  105. too can be a recipient of great power and great grace. As we look

  106. at this gold in text, first we see these men were empowered with this

  107. power that did not come from within. In fact, this power that they

  108. had been enveloped by did not come through the veins of the family tree.

  109. This power that was raging within their bosom was not handed to the decide descendants

  110. of royal pedigree. This power that loop the blood and physition speaks up is

  111. the power of the Holy Ghost. It was the great power that was available

  112. to the apostles and the followers of Jesus Christ in the New Testament of the

  113. Early Church that made the difference. Suddenly the face of the entire world change,

  114. not only the face of Jerusalem, but the face of Rome changed.

  115. Shortly thereafter, look at your neighbor again and say, hey, neighbor,

  116. do you want to receive the great power from above? They said yes,

  117. didn't they? What else do you see in that verse? Secondly, they

  118. had great grace upon them all. Look at your neighbor and say, hey,

  119. neighbor, I have great grace on me. I'm glad to know that

  120. we can say we have great power because of the Holy Ghost spiritual induvement.

  121. We've been enveloped by the power of the Holy Ghost, and we also have

  122. great grace working in our lives. Who in this building would question whether or

  123. not the disciples of Jesus who were part of the Early Church had great power

  124. and great grace it would take a foolish person speaking in order for somebody to

  125. say such a thing. I have witnessed the lives of these men, whose

  126. lives have been transformed since the beginning of last year, and I must say

  127. that at some point they were enveloped by great power. It seems like some

  128. sort of divine power entered into their body, took over their spirits, hearts

  129. and minds, and they have been forever change. I have also witnessed that

  130. great grace has come upon all of these that received the Holy Ghost. I'm

  131. not talking tonight about the Divine Force only. I'm talking about the third person

  132. in the Godhead, the third part of the Holy Trinity. We know him

  133. by name as the Holy Ghost. Now, I want to preach to us

  134. a sermon that the Holy Ghost title a ghost named a Comforter, a ghost

  135. named a Comforter. Now, when I was a kid, I heard of

  136. some other ghost and their names were Cupid and Casper. I don't want to

  137. preach about Jupid or Casper here tonight. I want to preach about a ghost

  138. that was generous. I want to preach about that gracious ghost name Comforter,

  139. that changed the life of these young men that we have in our presence tonight.

  140. The purpose of this message is not to give them the big head,

  141. because when I get finished them, we should all have submitted to the goodness

  142. and the grace of God and in the spirit of humility to be able to

  143. say we are nothing without Him. But I do want to state it to

  144. be true that I witness as their pastor their lives were forever changed by this

  145. great power and this great grace. If we were speaking a bother Caleb tonight

  146. concerning the day and the moment or the hour, the month, the day

  147. and the year of when he got the Holy Ghost, what would you say,

  148. Brother Caleb. Saturday, November twelfth, twenty twenty two. Y'all take

  149. those microphones, and as I call out your name tonight, I want you

  150. to tell me of the month, the day of the year when you experienced

  151. great power in your life and great grace. So, Brother Jesse, what

  152. you start and tell us that day February first, twenty twenty three. Brother

  153. Philip, what you tell us of that day February fifth, twenty twenty three.

  154. Brother Samuel, would you tell us of that day February fifth, twenty

  155. twenty three? Brother Ethan, would you tell us of that day February fifth

  156. three, Brother Joshua, would you tell us of that day? February sixth,

  157. twenty three? Brother Samuel stare At, would you tell us of that

  158. Momentbruary fifth, twenty three? Brother Gabel shouted at me, Do you know

  159. the month in the day? Tell me brother June seventh, twenty three.

  160. How many of you remember that night that you were filled with the Holy Ghost,

  161. and great power began to work in your life, and great grace was

  162. manifested to all of those that were around you. Did it change your life?

  163. It changed my life. That is the day of my life that I

  164. will never forget. It changed me radically, not just a little bit.

  165. It changed me thoroughly and completely. Did it shake up things around the house

  166. when you received the Holy Ghost? It sure did. The Bible said that

  167. when these one hundred and twenty disciples of Jesus Christ were du with power,

  168. it changed the face of the world forever. It changed families, it changed

  169. friendships, It changed relationships, It changed local congregations where people were gathered together

  170. at that time, in that very moment when they were filled with the Holy

  171. Ghost, fear left their body temple. They immediately became effective witnesses and evangelists,

  172. and they had no problem at all with dying as martyrs, And in

  173. fact, martyrdom was considered a badge of honor. It was no longer a

  174. dreaded thing. It was a soul winner's crown. And I don't know how

  175. many of y'all in this building to not realize that the real purpose of a

  176. believer receiving this great power what it is. But the purpose of somebody receiving

  177. the Holy Ghost is to help us not have fear within. It's to help

  178. us to be fearless. It's to help us not be selflesship, but to

  179. be selfless. And that's some of the things that we begin to see to

  180. be manifested within the earthly church of as Loop was unto us and their history.

  181. They were not fearful of things that bothered the minds of where the people.

  182. They were not troubled or perplexed her like everybody else was. And when

  183. comforter came into their life, they had a peace that passion or understanding.

  184. I will say that when a riby red bud of Jesus wash my soul clean,

  185. I was indeed right then at that moment a new creature old things that

  186. passed away to hold all things indeed did become new. That I want you

  187. to know. When the Holy Glister, whose name is Confider, when he

  188. came, he done exactly what jesusaid promised he would do. Some people know

  189. him as Parah clean asked the great power or that great divine for said,

  190. they can get in a life and shake things up, but I want you

  191. to know her. He's all Some non assaid her great comforter that Jesus said,

  192. I know that I paid the price for you. I know that my

  193. rev red blood paid to sind up. You are saved, you are chosen,

  194. you are sac off, you are separated. That I need you to

  195. come over up into an upper room. I need you to tearing ten days

  196. after you've been there ten days a case, we'll come into that building.

  197. That was not the first time they had thought a member or the Godhead was

  198. a first. There was a time of win the Son of God. He

  199. came into the building. They wondered, how did he get there? Who

  200. is this divine visitor? What is the spirit doing in the Old Testament?

  201. When Jonah didn't buy coming it out of the Resst Valley. The Bible said,

  202. those people could not believe their eyes. They wondering was at a spirit

  203. preaching in our city for three days her three knights, but going forward dot

  204. to the time of the early Church, and they see something coming in here

  205. the beauty and it's change. He's a mighty Russian wind. They come on

  206. now and comfort a preasa with him to returned to in a sense of a

  207. part each one of them, the compertaining in the mindset winning up. When

  208. I came on her, that came live coup. He had went to one,

  209. had went to another, and happier said it about her. A hundred

  210. and twe believers. They weren't tempering the must did here. They had a

  211. prison. I'm telling you her like they heard a pizza. They worked he

  212. us. They were selflessing, and they were wearing the die with the learn

  213. of God. They were willing to die in a son of God. What

  214. were you have a die if you are God? For it's going to happen

  215. if you are compromised, And what condition it's not worth having. I want

  216. to preach to you. Hear it up, Let's go one of the devil's

  217. fighting the waves fighting. The devil doesn't want comforting to knock on your door

  218. and come into your life. The Bible said that they were in dude with

  219. power. That literally means enveloped. They were covered as someone would cover something

  220. with a blanket or with a sheet, or with a veilve They were just

  221. covered up entirely by the power of the Holy Ghost. The problem with a

  222. lot of ministers today, and I'm not trying to be critical or judgmental of

  223. my brethren who are ministring or preaching, trying to be down on the missionaries.

  224. The pastors of Andreis were anyone. I'm trying to encourage you. If

  225. you're listening to this message, I want to encourage you. The reason why

  226. some of us are sitting in the aspota of news of God of yesterday year,

  227. it's because we're not willing to pray and we're not willing to faster until

  228. we are indeed or cloth upon her with great power. I'm telling you our

  229. churches they are impotent. They have no power at all. They have a

  230. form of Godliness, but they deny the power they are alive. That was

  231. the power of the early Church, I will say it again, and did

  232. not come closing through the brains of the parimetary, and did not come afol

  233. of Penegrat. But it came to people that people did not feel bout to.

  234. It visited people brother that one of the us put agree. They visited

  235. people that were entered and unlearned. And I want you to know you tonight

  236. they will visits you. He will visits you. He's a person you're not

  237. seek and tell me that my power. I'm telling you who the host is,

  238. So who the carrier up such a power is? What's in need?

  239. This comfort? He knocking on your door, the nabeler the one that will

  240. into you. We grant power. So they walk up a staircase and they

  241. spend ten long days tearing until they are in due were power until comforter comes

  242. in. And then the Bible say, and there was a single that came

  243. from him, and it came into that room, and the cornal of the

  244. natural lear heard that sound of a good that was the same dude of was

  245. power the day but silver there? And what's listening for it? When I

  246. hear the sail of a calling in the old fairy trees, then I will

  247. know that picture his mind. We don't have to read the intercleted stories of

  248. the worst revival, and that it sees the Street revival or the picture Cuss

  249. revival. They're in the upper room. We could write to and sto of

  250. We're comfort the tape. These full of sad, a little lot of them.

  251. It was in February of twenty twenty three, when comfort the tape and

  252. change their lives. What this warm needs. They need somebody that's got the

  253. power. They need somebody that's got to more than just power. Dray down

  254. and there's a difference in her power and great power. This world needs a

  255. world a people full of grace. Oh yes, sir, when there's a

  256. difference in grace and great grace, sir, I want great power and great

  257. gracer Hold us all, you get a hold of this. It'll shake up

  258. things. It'll stir up la bell, It'll stir up the hollow household.

  259. It'll stir up the root and family. It'll stir up the stair at household.

  260. It'll cause the road caped family to fair and trimble. It'll cause every

  261. family in this building to experience a radical, a thorough road, a complete

  262. change. That is what Comforter does. He brings forth a change, in

  263. the world. He brings forth a change in a family, and he brings

  264. forth a change in a personal life. Do you know in the New Testament

  265. it is said that Comforter is keeping Baka, the spirit of the Antracrosta.

  266. He is holding that spirit back. The Bible said, now he that let

  267. it. Well, he's holding Baka the spirit of Antracrosta. I'm so thankful

  268. that Jesus, not only you. We need a great prison and great power.

  269. We need a great comfort and great big imports and great picture. Do

  270. you really want to whistle holding us the way? You don't want to tell

  271. him that analyst concern. You don't want to deny his existence truth, You

  272. don't want to deny there's work into power in the church. They have a

  273. structure, but they deny the power. They have a fashion, but they

  274. deny the power. They have a forearm, they have methods, they have

  275. mechanics, they have makeup, they have manners. But it's gonna take more

  276. than all of that. It's going to take Comforter. And that is what

  277. changed the face of our church the first time years ago, and then again

  278. some years later and in recent times. In February twenty twenty three, and

  279. I'll tell you what I feel in my soul that God is about to do

  280. it again. I believe what God done at a Zesus Street time, God

  281. could do it right here in Label, Florida. Are you propliciding something.

  282. I'm not prophesied anything that I'm telling you. If we get sucked upide,

  283. then we start seeking the Lord bore, then we've already done. That is

  284. a promise that it's going to clock. I said, there is a promise

  285. that it's going to clock. There was only one hundred and two sept But

  286. the face of the world must change, and we got half of that.

  287. We got sixty wouldn't be all a lot. It pertains the face of hotel.

  288. They could change the face of half the weal p statistics according to what

  289. he does back there. It wasn't the Bible studies over coffee within the megachurch

  290. or the small country church that brought about all of these spiritual awakenings. It

  291. was not the drama teams and the dance teams and the power teams that brought

  292. forth radical transformations in these congregations or in these families and lives of the believers.

  293. Know, these people had the boldness that they had, and they came

  294. boldly onto the throne of grace because of the power that was within them.

  295. Let us come boldly onto the throwing grace that we may obtain what what's the

  296. name? Let us come boldly unto the throne of Grace, that we might

  297. obtain health and favor in the time of need, God Jesse. They had

  298. that great power that would cause a man to be able to punch a hole

  299. through the sky and get a hold of that gal of cord hanging down from

  300. that prayer bell, and they could pray that effectual fur reprayer of the Rosius

  301. fan. We're not talking about the mechanical prayer of the phar seeson or the

  302. Sadduceesa or a charismoutic worship leader. We're not talking about the methodical prayer of

  303. a Buddhist maker or somebody else. We're talking about heart passing it fire reprayer

  304. of somebody getting a replace and praying until they shake up the very storehouse of

  305. God. I said, cop helpens their praying through parentleet our prayer partner until

  306. the happens a rock, I said, the heavens rock. If I just

  307. see dog it's expeding for you that I go away, for if I go

  308. not away, the comforter will not come. I remember them talking about Casper

  309. the Ghost, and even he creeped me out. And he was supposed to

  310. be a friendly ghost. He was supposed to have everybody's best interest in mind.

  311. I read very few of those books. Our preacher did not preach against

  312. the back then in the Church of God, and I think we might have

  313. even had a couple in our Christian school library. That's how I know the

  314. name Casper brother Nathaniel. I heard in the High school of Cupid the love

  315. ghost, and how he would see man looking at a woman, and that

  316. Cupid would stand back with his love blowing arrow and release an arrow and it

  317. would seek up into the target, and that victim would fall in love with

  318. that person that they were supposed to be because of on the tip of that

  319. arrowhead there was some sort of love potion. Are y'all with me right here

  320. now in this house. I'm not talking about Caspar the Ghost, and I'm

  321. not talking about Cheaping the ghost, But I am talking about a gracious ghoster

  322. named the home a ghost, and most charismatic preachers and one of the Holy

  323. churches are through the name Ghost outing and replaced them with spirit Her because it

  324. was stiring of the third Carta or a member of the top head. They

  325. did not like what it represented, so they substituted a person with the divine

  326. force. I'm not looking for the divine force. I'm looking for the dark

  327. part of a copy. I said. I'm looking for them me mother for

  328. the time that Jesus said, what God if I'm a lady the Holy Ghost

  329. shelter. I feel the Holy Ghost in this place. Somebody could get the

  330. Holy Ghost tonight. All you have to do is receive it. I'm telling

  331. you. Cheap grace is something that so many people are promoting today. I

  332. don't want to preach old cheaf Gracer. I don't want to promote cheaf gracer.

  333. I'm preaching old Great Cowan and great Gracer. I'm going in Texas,

  334. and Great Gracer was upon them all. Apparently, human beings to receive different

  335. pressions of grace. The Bibles he a right to or it's wrong. Great

  336. Gray speaks to me on something different than middle grace. Great speaks to me

  337. differently than headful. The Holy Ghost speaks to me that they I don't clean

  338. your measure. That just mean touched by the Holy Dost. Come on,

  339. now, you're not taking this. I've told you too. News tonight,

  340. God's spoke to me that said, the Holy Ghost, my graciss ghost,

  341. you'll take control if you if you're want here, I said, the Holy

  342. Ghost is not the field somebody's life, so little people in error call him

  343. an it. I've done it myself, but ever since he came to live

  344. and side of me, I cannot call him in it without being clicking and

  345. chick. Even Jesus said that that you speak to, I am he the

  346. what you're talking to. I am he the what you've been looking for.

  347. I am he John the Baptist, you know what you were looking for.

  348. And Jesus is saying, I am here. And these are the signs or

  349. the symptoms of the Messiah. He talked about all of that, and I've

  350. got to cut this short. But you know what, there are signs that

  351. follow the believers, and you can tell whether or not they are people that

  352. are filled with the Holy Ghost. I'm not talking about the Holy Spirit,

  353. the spirits. I'm talking about the heir Holy Ghost. Because when he which

  354. is called talks to me upon in sill of somebody, even Peter, the

  355. way he would follow Jesus say off at a guilty distance. You know more,

  356. it'll never happen again, not when he team the me of his solid

  357. me. I speak in the streets, and I speak with vocals. A

  358. thousands will believe because he team to me up inside away. And that's what

  359. Jesus saying. I was with you, but he shot me in you.

  360. Hee. He more than the divine power, the closest pastor how to preach,

  361. more than the divine power that enables missionaries to do what they do on

  362. Parshaw. He's got the divine power. It's all in him. Come the

  363. he He. You know why the Baptist Church doesn't want to embrace Pentecostalism because

  364. of what he makes it. When he shall come, he shall reprove the

  365. world of sin, righteousness, truth, judgment, the Holy Ghost. They

  366. don't want no holy ghost preaching. How get in their pool pitch. They

  367. don't want no holy ghost preachers? In more, aim maried colin Us.

  368. How to my mind's what es are said? The apostle said them. Grievous

  369. wolfs will come in and they bridly take their positions. He tells those people,

  370. well he himself. Teachers say having engineers, they're saying, come on

  371. in, mister Waver, come on in, and the power the spirit of

  372. God that's working hot. And then on death. They don't want anything to

  373. do with him. They want the counterpit spirit that speaks in tongues. They

  374. want a counterpeit spirit that makes somebody get a little bit excited. They want

  375. to count the spirit. Then it'll make somebody was sin in their life,

  376. do this and do that. But I'm talking about heal. These people had

  377. great grace our goal in Texays. Great grace was upon them all. We

  378. probably have sixty five in the service tonight. Come Sunday we'll probably have close

  379. to seventy. I'm glad that our midweek crowd is almost as big as our

  380. Sunday morning and Sunday and our crowd. I remember in the days of yesteryear

  381. at the Church of God, we'd have one hundred and twenty or thereabout it

  382. Sunday morning service, on Sunday night about sixty five or seventy, and on

  383. Wednesday night what they call family train an hour might be doing good to have

  384. forty and old brother Franklin let used to get up and say, he said,

  385. I think Jesus is gonna come back on midweek service goes up? Some

  386. wouldn't the true saints have gathered together? He as the pastor of the former

  387. pastor, would say that often, how many of you know? We're blessed

  388. to have on Moost ninety eight percent of our congregation here tonight. But I

  389. told no, Sister wounded, all of these children have really understood who he

  390. is. I'm glad you know who Jesus is. I'm glad you know who

  391. the Father is. But do you really realize her who he is? Oh?

  392. Come on, I saw him change. There are Jesse's lifer in a

  393. moment. I saw it change the Kingdom's lifer in a moment. That's what

  394. happened in the upper room. To reap the prince troll. The ones that

  395. could not speaker. We're ain't going to see the preachuch. The eye praises

  396. say, oh God, what you mean is the Holy gust? Not in

  397. speaks? Therapist, what you mean? That's the Holy gusta not a personal

  398. touch? You need a power for God? Will I preach it to you

  399. tonight? If you'll let me, Prince, kill you cheat grace. They

  400. just believe you. Pray one time. Don't be a word of what you

  401. said. I ask you God to forgive me from all of my sin.

  402. I have no godly sorrow whatsoever in my life. I don't expect to change

  403. anything at all in my life. I want to stay the same. But

  404. the prayer of the righteous person is this, change me, Holy, change

  405. me home. I really wont to be born like you. And the prayer

  406. of a saint defied man begins to pray like this. The prayer goes like

  407. this, Lord, feel me, God, Lord, feel me, feel

  408. me. We're your princeence. And if your priceence is there, that means

  409. your person is there. And if you're there, Holy Ghost, toime,

  410. that means your power he's there. I'm telling you that the Prince of the

  411. Spirit are not working in a display in the church Eva's life, but they

  412. do not yet have her the Holy Ghost. I'm not saying you got to

  413. have her the Holy Ghost if they're to heaven. That a stands me.

  414. While you're not inviting him to become a pilot of the pe your life.

  415. Why are you not letting him drive? Why are you not allowing him to

  416. navigate. I would be afraid to go to Walmart without the Holy As.

  417. I'm telling you, great power when they had the Holy GLT. I'm told

  418. the missionaries, brother Nathaniel being one of them, I said, there is

  419. no way I would lead the United States of America without the Holy Ghost.

  420. There's no way I would go with some of these churches without the Holy Ghost.

  421. Oh, come on now, So they had great power, and great

  422. grace was upon in morth so human beings to receive different measures of great was

  423. God blessed them about that? Why was God doing that? Why in the

  424. world is God doing that? Such things as this and this, God give

  425. them favor. What was so special about Abraham? What was so special about

  426. Jacob? What was so special? Amount her? I say, and cheer

  427. mine. The prophets and the apostles, I mean the Bible said, they

  428. were just ordinary me and my cusser. Some of them do not have one

  429. of the long line of royal keys in their veins. And some of their

  430. brothers skeletons, were not the sons of prophets. And what was itton they

  431. were seeking God? It wasn't just some unmurdered paper, It just fell on

  432. them, and suddenly you're the chosen wants to be the powerhouser. Then a

  433. man who losses the world from theism the wa the head corners. He is

  434. the all the way to roll where the top blocks are. What happened?

  435. These were men that were seeking God. How do you know that creature?

  436. Let me give you crittal reperence. And when said to that man over there

  437. to find Nathaniel, who was it? Was it? Philip? Philip and

  438. Jesus went looking for Nathaniel and Philip winn and said, hey, what mister

  439. Hammond said to not come and see? Hey? The time they said,

  440. can anything good come out of there? And then Nathaniel said, come and

  441. see if you know what Jesus said, the hold and Israel lot indeed,

  442. and who is no God? Nathaniel wasn't spoken a joint. I'm talking about

  443. one of the followers of God. And he was not turner to, he

  444. was not pell there, Mother, Thank his name was not Paraclet's say he

  445. must not take he was? Is that? My Indeed? If no time

  446. and ever didn't looking, so was every water for these other men of God.

  447. The God told with great tracer and great time, It's true, he

  448. saved them from out of the gutter, but he had to cleanse them up

  449. save the power to deal with the holy ghosts of others. But these great

  450. men are God that experienced great power and great grace. They were doing their

  451. best to live the best they knew how. And I'm trying to keep this

  452. message short because the sum will turn it off and to forty minutes. Because

  453. of what you've been taught. It'll teach you how to be able to spill

  454. out all the beans in forty minutes. Uh huh. They them good surgeons

  455. that's been operating on my son. I want them to finish in forty minutes,

  456. but hey, they told me it's gonna take an hour. In thirty

  457. minutes, you got to get him, meaning the holy ghosts, off of

  458. the time clock. Without coming this point there, I may have twenty minutes

  459. worth to creat him too. Get you know what he's gott from whole lot

  460. more than that. And I want to speak as the oracles of God I

  461. made. Ain't the little bility in my billy tomorrow that I ain't happened in

  462. a long time. You tell me how, Preacher, it creats, how

  463. the sir and hold me in the morning. I'll tell you how am and

  464. you're a cop. Here's the Holy don the Holy ghost will will take careful

  465. men and give them words to say. At the last minute, Jesus said,

  466. don't work, my God. I feel a holy go from this house.

  467. And for those preachers that don't reason bid enough to move, Jesus believed

  468. in the illustrative messages. Be Hold, while I'm teaching, look around that

  469. hillside. There's a soul of God part the soul alchemists there top it.

  470. He wasn't in the other. I'm not telling me these gifts aren't from both

  471. of the apostles. This promises for maid servants, maid servants, poppins,

  472. po's in the call off pastors, a prentice, Preachests. Then I got

  473. so much I want to say, Jesus said, listen, boy said,

  474. I know you've betrayed me. I know you've denied me and said you're gonna

  475. be called in to be questioned. Come here, I need a herode.

  476. I have a seat, hair poor chair. Come here, I need a

  477. festus. I need a feelings. Get them right out here in front.

  478. We're fitting to have court, and you know whatever, A little dams will

  479. come here. Hannah came to Peter, and I'm trying to get hurt here.

  480. And she told Peter, Peter, weren't you with Jesus saying, come

  481. over her hand, fetter, come on over and start warming your hands,

  482. butterfly, I'm pretty sure. Say, I'm pretty sure that tonly, how

  483. do you feel fo terrible guilty? Right? Give it to him a long

  484. time. I haven't got a hold of a rooster out there. Him Holy

  485. go just walk out a rooster and tucked him on the yack. Holy goos

  486. was moving in a while to some He y'all talk, come before the cock

  487. crows? How many times thrives you shall deny me? Huh, y'all preach

  488. you, Holy go, said crow teeth. She turned and walked away,

  489. said I know it was him, Peter. He ran out, what bittern,

  490. I'm telling you. These were people sitting every day, These were people

  491. living in habitual. Said he felt terrible about a sin, he falck,

  492. terrible about the nod Jesus, he fal terrible about betraying Jesus. Jesus didn't

  493. me this wrong. I feel one bit bad about breaking the commandments of God.

  494. They don't feel one bit boyd by servant and impostor got Peter dead.

  495. Pet on the hold goes, why get right, faith. Peter's praying and

  496. he's weeping bitterly. And he gets up and he tells the brothers, I'm

  497. shortening the sermon, he said. Jesus said, we got to tarry in

  498. the upper room. And Peter goes and make sure they all gathered together.

  499. That after Peter was filled with the holy ghosts. Then came the critics.

  500. Then came to judges, sir, and they set these being are trucking.

  501. It seems like they're in a truck and stupid he that cave under the oppressor

  502. and my head, I don't care, said me. He stood up,

  503. and if I got a preacher he set these being, I'm not chucking with

  504. gon and he supposed seeing as butch hold, I got it. It's great,

  505. great, sir, let us curt power. I said, that's great,

  506. great, so let us great power. Bah Lord, yess up God,

  507. the crisis ghosts the temper Peter, there will come a time when they

  508. will bring you before magistrates. Paul, there will come a time when they

  509. will bring you before keys. They come on. All these other apostles can

  510. they come before governors. Come on here, let me give one in front

  511. of Beata. One of these governors to somebody has got the Holy Ghost standing

  512. in front of keys and governors. And you know what? These men were

  513. locked the three Hebrew children. They had great power and great race. They

  514. said, we're not careful to answer you, old king. Apostle pu saying,

  515. I am not the same. The gospel a trip. Let it preach

  516. to them, tinglets show them the stream will King and great of said,

  517. oh Master, that persuadest me to be a Christian. They come on making

  518. our counsel. What would another say that? What happened to these men?

  519. That counsel the governor of shape the pulse up the counselor in the town they

  520. call Jesus fall on his knees, and it knows the codesst Great Christ and

  521. great power. Do they look like they're running again? The opportunity of wanting

  522. them became a crowd of life to be witnesses. When the Holy goos comes

  523. upon you, you shall be witnesses. If you'll study that out. The

  524. Greek is you shall down as martyrs. They're role woman, governors and kings.

  525. They could say, I really don't find any following them. They're great

  526. men, just like Jesus was, Just like Herod says as he passed it

  527. down, he's a griffic change for the command. These men really are not

  528. worthy of death. And these men would die knowing they'd done nothing wrong,

  529. but only did good. All they did was talking tongues. All they did

  530. was possess a power that the world was envious off, but also a power

  531. that would allow them to bow their knees to death. My God, I

  532. feel the preacher in this house. Do you not see the martyrs? Does

  533. knock the blood of righteous and able cry from the ground? What about the

  534. Psycharritus who was slain between the artists? What about when the executioners took Peter

  535. and Paul? And feel about executioners take them away, innocent and take them

  536. away. I won't tell you something. Executioners take them on out. They

  537. went just as their savior as lambs led to the slaughter. They opened,

  538. not their mouths. They did not curse with their lips. These men had

  539. to power to raise the dead. These men had to power to tell Annas

  540. and Sapphire, you're fixing a drop dead into please. They had great grace.

  541. It wasn't for only one apostle, it was for each one. Apparently

  542. human beings can. Indeed, a matter of fact, they receive different measures

  543. of grace. How can a person tell how much grace one of these people

  544. possessed by their fruits, yes, correct, thank you brethend by the fruits

  545. of the spirit that was hanging on their tree. These men stood as trees

  546. of righteousness, and their fruits were null, and they were identified to be

  547. true disciples of Jesus Christ and recipients and recipients of the Angel of the Holy

  548. Ghost. They were selfless soldiers and soul winners. The efforts they put forth

  549. in the reach and the least, the lost and the Lord, they revealed

  550. how much grace they had working in their lives. I don't understand the church.

  551. It has no outreach. I don't understand the church. It has no

  552. burden. I don't understand the church. It has no vision of the lost

  553. being found, of the spiritually blind seeing. I don't understand a church that

  554. doesn't try to help the death spiritually. Here again, hear what thus said

  555. the word of God. Y'all heard what the precious brother said tonight. I

  556. did not even know this existed anywhere on the planet. That's why we had

  557. the great commission go and tell them the wonderful things God is doing. I

  558. feel an awesome presence of the Lord in this place. They had great power

  559. and great grace because they would no longer betray their master. They were no

  560. longer deny him. They would live for him and they would die for him.

  561. The fact that they had a desire to reach the loss that evangelized the

  562. world was evident to so many, Brother Jeremiah, was evident to so many

  563. because they had the hold of ghost. It's true, no matter how we

  564. try to explain it away, it is true. You could see the great

  565. power and the great pleasure of grace in his people's lives because of their foots.

  566. You know, they had great power and great grace. When the world

  567. would say He's dead, they would say, no, he's not. With

  568. boldness. How many people in this building have found it somewhere in the Bible

  569. where it took hosting a big concert in order to get the church to grow,

  570. God started working inside of his people, and Brother Nathaniel, that was

  571. enough. There is no substitute, and there will never be a substitute.

  572. For the workings of the Holy Ghost and grace. At this time, there

  573. were no names like my brother Jeremy Howell. That's a no name. A

  574. brother Peter, a brother Philip, or brother Paul. Those are no names.

  575. But what they began to do was promote that name. And that's what

  576. the Holy Ghost will do. He'll testify of Jesus. I'm thankful for amazing

  577. grace. Ephesius to a nine said, for by grace are you saved through

  578. faith? And that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God,

  579. not of words, lest any man should boast. We've heard it said for

  580. years grace is unmarried and faithor we didn't earn it, We didn't deserve it.

  581. It came to us freely. We couldn't pay for it. Grace may

  582. be free, but it is not cheap. These people of the early Church

  583. and those in this building who have been the recipients of great grace, can

  584. say we are the light in this world, a city that is sett on

  585. the hill which cannot be hit. This is a light that is shining tonight

  586. before you all. You all were shining before the world as lights because you

  587. have received great grace and great power and you give glory to our heavenly Father.

  588. We may have the ghosts, the Holy Ghost, and we may have

  589. grace, great grace, but he will always receive great glory. The glory

  590. is his alone. Did y'all catch that? That's my mental outline for tonight's

  591. message. I'm sharing it with you. We may have the ghost, the

  592. Holy Ghost, we may have the grace, great grace, but you will

  593. always receive the glory. Here at Bethelhondi's Church, out of the mouth of

  594. Brother Jeremy howell, out of the mouth of these holy ghosts filled people,

  595. he alone deserves the glory. We as Christians should never glorify ourselves, nor

  596. should we as Christians lead others astray by preaching a cheap grace. To catch

  597. that, we as Christians should never glorify ourselves, nor should we as Christians

  598. lead others astray by preaching the chief grace. I'm glad each one in this

  599. building has received his grace in their lives. But how about another measure.

  600. Do you want to know what great grace is? Do you want to know

  601. what great power is. I'm not saying you don't have power. I'm not

  602. saying you don't have grace. But what about great power and great grace?

  603. I longed for it? Do you long for it? The world wasn't longing

  604. for it at this time. One hundred and twenty were longing for it.

  605. So what can be accomplished of sixty five? Finally get a hold of what

  606. we're seeking after? Do y'all know? I did not know this until last

  607. week. But we just come off of a ten day fast as a church,

  608. a corporate fast. We unified him fasted. I did not know this

  609. until last week. I pulled something out of the archives and I didn't even

  610. read it. I just looked real quick at something, and my eyes went

  611. straight towards Sister Howard, and I showed you. It said that when William

  612. Seymour went to a Zeus's Street, he had been asked by some people to

  613. go there to take care of the little congregation. When he started preaching sanctification,

  614. righteousness, and holiness as he had learned somewhere out the Midwest, they

  615. who wanted him to be their pastor literally kicked him out of the church.

  616. Instead of packing his bags and going home and giving up, he went to

  617. someone's house who offered for him to stay there. They went into a time

  618. of traying, fasting, and seeking the Lord. After some time it went

  619. by, he began to preach there in that house, and the church began

  620. to grow. They faced opposition. He preached more and more and more on

  621. sanctification. All of this is coming to buy. I'm getting back to what

  622. I saw that reminded me of something. I did not really know this until

  623. I saw this stood out to it. At some point he asked his church

  624. to go on a ten day fast. I believe that's what I pointed out

  625. to you, sister, how it was, and I said, look a

  626. ten day facts. Not long after that revival broke out, If my memory

  627. serves me correctly, a pastor that was critical of what was going on,

  628. came to the revival not to protest it, but to observe it, to

  629. go back to his church and warn his people and tell them to stay away

  630. from it. He said, I wasn't going going to preach against it.

  631. I remember this, brother Nathaniel. When he left, he went to his

  632. church and said, we're certainly not gonna protest it. We're gonna promote it,

  633. and we're all gonna go over there and be thought of it. What

  634. happened to us down there in Almachile Sunday afternoon was by divine appointment. I

  635. will tell you all this God is not a racist, He's not a big

  636. and what that brother knows because of what he felt, that brotherly loved,

  637. that he felt that we had for him as he showed up at the same

  638. place we showed up at by divine appointment. What he kept screaming out,

  639. I used to believe in God, But I know my God is God of

  640. all. I know he's King of kings and lord and lords. I know

  641. I serve the right God. This shouldn't happen now. I know that I

  642. did right by coming here today, no matter how many devils said I've done

  643. wrong. My brother Sam, you could tell when the Holy Ghost or of

  644. speaking through our Spanish speaking brother and before we left, what he said is

  645. he said God doesn't know the skin color. And that was evident. If

  646. the genuine Holy Ghost gets to moving and we start having an end time revival,

  647. there's gonna be a people of color coming here, of all different colors.

  648. Now I feel out preaching heart again. The Holy ghosts rise without end

  649. me right now, I couldn't imagine attempting to preach or pastor a church like

  650. this one without power. I couldn't imagine trying to live for the world for

  651. the Lord without great grace. Hey man and Jesse, when you come to

  652. the pen and my other James, chapter number four and verse number six,

  653. it said, but he giveth more grace, wherefore he saith, God resisteth

  654. the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. It appears to me right

  655. now that our attitude has everything to do with our reception of great power and

  656. great grace. Does that not make it clear? Right there, your fossil

  657. James. But he giveth grace into the humble. And this same chapter it

  658. says we should submit that God resists the devil, and he will flee from

  659. us or y'all notice anything, humility submission. So the cure for some of

  660. these spiritual disturbances and spiritual conflicts is humility and submission. And that's the problem

  661. for a lot of people. Brothers, there, they can't crucify self and

  662. pride enough to solve some problems and dissolve some spiritual conflicts. It's going to

  663. take hubility and submission. I saw an arrogant egotistical, prideful young men.

  664. One time standing there acting as though he was a recipient of the Holy ghost.

  665. He was a candidate for the n dwelling of the Holy Ghosts. And

  666. I had heard it said for years, concerned it stuck up. It's not

  667. even his people that if it rained, they drown. And there he was

  668. standing, They're all dignified, brother Samuel. His posture was stiff, and

  669. he was richie as of God. If you're God, give it to me.

  670. God, if it's there, give it to me. That's what that

  671. Mexican brother said. Sunday. He said, one time one of his relatives

  672. said, you need God, and he said, I was so full of

  673. pride. He said, I told him, if God wants me, he

  674. could come get me in. He could find me wherever I man. He

  675. cried for a good while after that. So I know that there was a

  676. change and a spirit, a change in his attitude, because now I shuddered

  677. and trembled at the would he would say something like that, and he wept

  678. and he cried, and I said, how to thank you God, Thank

  679. you God. It's true that David had a measure of grace and a measure

  680. of the spirit of God. That's why I said creative to be a clean

  681. heart. O God, Oh God, don't take your fear from me.

  682. Don't y'all that day, if it would be spirit feeled, if he was

  683. living today, he would receive the Holy Ghost in a greater measure. Some

  684. of you are did this, but you just kind of break down and fall

  685. out on their knees. Find an isolated place somewhere and get along with God.

  686. Said God, I'm not looking for the magic. That's what Simon marche

  687. On the want, and that's what Simon the Sorcerer wunted. He wanted to

  688. give some money. Now he could have that power that those apostles had.

  689. And apostles said that money in perish with thee. You can't buy this with

  690. money. You can't earn this the grace or the ghost. You don't deserve

  691. the grace or the ghost, and you certainly don't are the glory. But

  692. I'm telling you your life changed. February of last year, after service,

  693. my son went home, the pastor's son. They said, you know what,

  694. I realized, I really what's saved. I may have had a measure

  695. of grace, but I needed more, he said. I fell out in

  696. the living room, and I care to my wife and babies hurt me,

  697. And I said, God saving. He was humbling himself. He was submitting

  698. himself under God. That's the only way you get the devil to plea feeding.

  699. That's the only way you get the devil off your back. And stop,

  700. tony, Jesus, submit yourself. I'm the God. Resist the devil

  701. and he will flee. The problem today is people don't want to submit.

  702. They don't want to humble themself for the mighty hand of God until he exults

  703. them in new time. The word submission means to put yourself aren't there.

  704. We come under the shadow the Almighty. We come under the umbrella of the

  705. Almighty. We need great grace and methal. We need it on each person

  706. here. We've got to have it, and in time revival demands it.

  707. If we can get a hold of great power and great grace, we could

  708. grow a congregation for His glory. That's what I've been praying here lately.

  709. Lord. We don't want to build that church for our glory. We don't

  710. want to build that bone to leave it forever in print of our life.

  711. We want to build it for your glory. And I'm saying, God,

  712. would you save souls in this area for your glory? Would you let great

  713. power and great grace fall on our neighbors. Would you let great power and

  714. great grace fall on our babies. Would you allow great power, great grace

  715. develop our wives and our husbands. What to do with God? What you

  716. do in air for greater messures of grace and looks one Peter five. I've

  717. said, likewise, ye younger, submit yourselfing of the elder. Yeay,

  718. all of you be subsequent to another, and be clothed with the ability.

  719. For God resisteth the proud and giveth grace to the humble. Let's realize that

  720. we aren't enough to get things done for our Lord. Let's surrender to the

  721. fact that we totally depend on Him for everything, including our salvation and the

  722. salvation of others. And I want to close with this statement, I need

  723. him desperately. My wife said a text to me as I was just about

  724. to walk into that office, and she said, I love to sweet her.

  725. I pray them for you. I received so many of their text over

  726. the years, that's all I received. And for the first time I told

  727. her something that I feel I feel real every time before I preach, I

  728. said, honey, I feel so inadequate for the town getting in. When

  729. we got out of the vehicle down there in Imocaly, I didn't jump out

  730. and say, hey, I'm a preacher. I've studied the word of God

  731. for thirty something years. I stepped up and I said, God, if

  732. you don't have us, we're gonna flop, for we're gonna fail. Somebody

  733. might say, well, you need to little more confidence. I've got confidence

  734. in him. In him is my strength in him. We live in him,

  735. we move in him. We have our being in him. We have

  736. our salvation in him. We have our sanctification in him, we have faith

  737. in him, we have honor in him, we have glory. It's all

  738. in Jesus. It's all in Jesus. I'm telling you somebody in this building

  739. can receive the Holy Ghost. As I close, I want to tell the

  740. Holy Ghost. Holy ghosts, you no longer have to prompt a rooster to

  741. crow. All you have to do is bushi need to peach Holy goes.

  742. You'll never need to tell the rocks to cry out praises, a glory and

  743. honor to my King. Because as long as I live. The rocks don't

  744. need to cry out for me. I wonder if we could just find a

  745. place to pray right now, wherever you feel there to pray. Just please,

  746. don't think. Please talk to him, get personal with him. Just

  747. talk to him. He's a very present help and the tide of need.

  748. Just tell him I need you desperately. I need you desperately. I need

  749. you desperately. Jee right now, how about it. Let him change your

  750. life, Let him change your family, let him change your ministry, let

  751. him change your heart, let him change your attitude, let him change your

  752. a gracious because culture he told your neighbor a little while ago, I have

  753. great grace on me. Cow there's something you just building tonight. Think you

  754. are either a first neigh or middle name of grace. The giver of this

  755. great time, of this great grace is culfort. He'll give it to you

  756. tonight. Let's pray. Well when you talk to the Lord right now,

  757. please, how about it? Great grace. They was evident and calls things

  758. to the kid their last the gospel. They were prints for Jesus is Saint.

  759. They weren't sent the kind on the parts of the churches. Only they

  760. would go out and evangelize the world. They would goodness, they would die

  761. as foreigners. That's the kind of towers TOAs. That's the kind of grace

  762. with you. I feel so inavocate for the task. Can't get this from

  763. that started? It started my words. It's not I can't, but he

  764. can work three crazy ask the Lord right now. It's a great title and

  765. birth place. Can you do that? Would you talk to when you ask?

  766. If they call of the God and ever the great person of the God,

  767. who has to take the guess I haven't said, save to take possession

  768. of a ga temple, that body the temple, let control say see,

  769. I want to say it one more time. Somebody is seeking greater measures.

  770. And that's been the boy that aligns yourself for saying doctrine that I preached their

  771. message to my God. Put it on my heart. You seeking great pass

  772. a power trace all to batch Born keep saying he's coming, He's got and

  773. town the watch to see in Colong episode come. We're not paying for where

  774. I f and where he brought me from. And I found hill wholl the

  775. street to I wouldn't want to leave for Singaden we out Jesus saying the win,
