  1. Enjoyed the singing the testifying. Certainly, miss Our Pastor, tonight you could

  2. be turned to the book of Genesis forty fifth chapter, reading for the Lord

  3. to help us here tonight at the service. Certainly, miss our Pastor,

  4. love him and appreciate him. I appreciate this opportunity, praise the Lord.

  5. It's good to see you in the house of the Lord. Tonight. We're

  6. gonna get into the preaching here Genesis the forty fifth chapter. We'll be reading

  7. verses twenty five through twenty eight. I feel like I have a burden here

  8. tonight. We'll go ahead and start reading. And they went out out from

  9. Egypt. This is talking about Joseph's brothers. They went up out from Egypt

  10. and came into the land of Canaan unto Jacob, their father, and told

  11. him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is governor over all

  12. the land of Egypt. And Jacob's heart fainted, for he believed them not

  13. Verse number twenty seven. And they told him all the words of Joseph which

  14. he had said unto them. And when he saw the wagons which Joseph had

  15. sent to carry him, the spirit of Jocob Jacob, their father revived,

  16. and Israel said, it is enough, Joseph, my son is yet alive.

  17. I will go and see him before I die. Well, just stretch

  18. your hands this way, God start Without you, we can do nothing God,

  19. but thrown you, all things are possible. God Stord. We ask

  20. right now that you wouldn't know if my pride and many word saw that you

  21. wouldn't go in in this place tonight, and that you would touching soul thought.

  22. If it's part God, I believe that you've given me worded for somewhat

  23. here tonight. God, we asked that you would help. God. He'll

  24. let your word at this way too. In his sin. God that's not

  25. in this place sorrowfully, but joint me in the name of Jesus got me

  26. on bright mouth. We're living to say all of the things that you would

  27. happen to see. God, who can get car in honor and praise for

  28. it? If you are worthy in your name, we pray she's a sweet

  29. name who died for us, Amen and Amen. Genesis. The forty fifth

  30. chapter tells of a reunion that is that is bound to happen, that hasn't

  31. happened yet, but it's in the worst. It's in the it's in the

  32. plans and our text. Our text is about a father who had been deprived

  33. of one of his beloved sons. The jealous brothers of Joseph had sold him

  34. into slavery and convinced their father, Jacob, that he had been been devoured

  35. by an evil beast Genesis the thirty seventh chapter. In the thirty fifth Birth

  36. versus, it tells us that Jacob refused to be comforted for the loss of

  37. his son. He tells his sons and daughters, who deceitfully are trying to

  38. console him. They're deceitfully trying to comfort him. They knew all along,

  39. if they really loved the man, they would have been honest with him,

  40. right, So they're sequally trying to comfort him. But he tells them that

  41. he's gonna go to the grave mourning the loss of his son. He's gonna

  42. go to the grave mourning for Joseph, his beloved son. And I think

  43. this situation. I think about this situation here tonight, and what a sad

  44. place this father has been put into by people he trusted right by, by

  45. people that he's supposed to love him, people that he supposed he could trust

  46. his very old sons should have his best interest in mind. But instead of

  47. his best interest in mind, they deceive him and they make them think the

  48. worst has happened to one of his young sons because of the actions of the

  49. of the sons. Because of the actions of the sons of Jacob's, his

  50. spirit was grieved for some twenty two years. For twenty two years, Jacob

  51. has let you believe that his son is dead, that an evil beast devoured

  52. him. They brought him the coat. You all remember the story. You

  53. remember the deceitful plot, the deceiving plan. They brought in this coat.

  54. They had took blood, splattered it upon this coat and brought it to Jacob

  55. and convinced this father that his son was dead. But we know the story.

  56. If you don't know it, I suggest you read it. It's amazing.

  57. It is a just an overwhelming, overwhelming story about God's providential hand at

  58. work in Joseph's life. He had been secretly sold into slavery by his brothers

  59. and was brought to the house of Potiphar, who was the captain of Pharaoh's

  60. guard. He was lying on in the house of Potiphar by Partiphar's wife,

  61. and because of this accusation, he was thrown into prison. But according to

  62. God's perfect plan, Joseph was promoted. And like I said, if you

  63. don't know the story, I'm sure most of us do. If you haven't

  64. read it in a while, go back and read it. According to God's

  65. perfect plan, Joseph is promoted to second in command under Pharaoh. It's just

  66. bewildering. The boy was sold into slavery, he was a slave, he

  67. did serve Potiphar as a slave, and now he's second in command to Pharaoh,

  68. king of Egypt. But while you think about the prosperity of Joseph,

  69. think about a grief daddy. Think about a daddy that that's back in Canaan.

  70. His spirit is still grieved. He said, ain't going to the grave

  71. morning. So you think about a morning father, a prospered son, but

  72. a mourning father. Because of deceit and because of lies, Joseph has been

  73. promoted and prospering. His father is holding to a memory of a special little

  74. kid with a special little coat that he made for him, a special little

  75. kid. And this is what his father is holding to. I remember,

  76. I'm sure it told stories. I remember when Joseph did this, and he

  77. tells his brothers and they're just they can't help but feel guilty. I'm sure

  78. after twenty something years they see the life of their father has been forever or

  79. altered. The apple of his eye, the sun of his day, the

  80. sun of his morning, the moon of his night had been taken away.

  81. So we got it grieving Daddy. And Joseph is second in command to Pharaoh

  82. in Egypt. And I want to point this out. The pastor was preaching

  83. along these lines a couple of weeks ago, I believe it was. And

  84. as Pastor was preaching, I thought about Joseph and his patience on the will

  85. of God. You have to realize this man was second in the nation of

  86. Egypt. He could have at any minute loaded up with chariot, said I'm

  87. going to see Dad, I'm going back to the land of pain to see

  88. how they're doing. But instead of that, he waits on God's perfect plan.

  89. He gonna see him again until it's God's time for him to see them.

  90. But Joseph is second in command to Pharaoh in Egypt. And there comes

  91. a great famine which was used to promote Joseph. It was a tool in

  92. God's toolbox to get Joseph to where he needed to be, to get him

  93. to where he could sustain his people. The famine reaches out to Canaan,

  94. where a grieving father has his family flocks in his herds that are needing food.

  95. And work gets around, and there's corn in Egypt, and so Jacob

  96. gathers his sons to gather and he tells them to go get food, to

  97. go buy corn and bring it back to Canaan. And I can't help but

  98. think that, as Joseph's brethren, we're packing their bags for the journey to

  99. Egypt. I wonder if one of them looked at him and said, I

  100. wonder, iful, Lucy Chose, I wonder if we'll see that little slave

  101. boy out there sweeping the streets. I wonder if we'll see him tending to

  102. somebody scarden, right, I mean, it's possible, it really is.

  103. Maybe the conversation drifted that way and wondering if how he was faring. Maybe

  104. they wondered, you know that little boy we sold in the slavery. He's

  105. he's older now, he might be an old beggar walking around in rady clothes.

  106. I kind of feel like they were expecting that kind of feel that what

  107. they that's what they did for it. I kind of feel like they was

  108. expecting to see a young boy with dirt on his face, dirt between his

  109. toothes, and some ratty old rats wrapped around his shoulders out there sweeping the

  110. streets or something. Maybe that's just my imagination, but I'm sure as they

  111. made it to as they made it to Egypt, they began to walk down

  112. the dusty streets. They were looking at all the servants and the beggars.

  113. Maybe they get yo will catch a glimpse of their ill fortune. Little brother,

  114. Oh my lord, long story short, Joseph recognizes his brethren. You

  115. know the story. Joseph recognizes his brother, and he don't They don't recognize

  116. him. I think if I see my brother twenty years later, I really

  117. think I recognize him. Maybe I'm wrong, right right, because I think

  118. they were expecting this man in beggarly clothes and what they what they mean is

  119. a man man in the kingly garments. What they say is not what they

  120. were expecting. So they didn't even recognize him. But Joseph recognized. You're

  121. gonna tell me that Joseph can't recognize his brothers, but his brothers can't recognize

  122. him. So Joseph recognizes his brethren and they make a trip back, and

  123. they make a trip back to Egypt to get more corn. And this time

  124. Joseph and the Pharaoh get together a bunch of wagons and they send it to

  125. the land of Canaan to go pick up Joseph's daddy. This man, I'm

  126. sure Pharaoh had heard about, heard about the lesion, Jacob, the man

  127. who was the friend of God, the one that God said out the god

  128. Jacob, like the god of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, this man that

  129. King Pharaoh's were all about. Joseph said Pharaoh, it's time to go get

  130. daddy. It's time to load the wagons and gonna get my father. Right.

  131. So they load the wagon and they hit to Canaan. And I can

  132. only imagine the due to the scriptures that I read, that Joseph's brethren ran

  133. ahead of the wagons. They ran ahead of the wagon, said father.

  134. Joseph is alive. Jacob probably says what they said, hold on, they

  135. don't stop there. They aren't The end of the story. He's got just

  136. alive. He's the governor of the tarlb the Bible said Joseph. Jacob's heart

  137. faints right, Yeah, can't believe what he's hearing. They don't stop there.

  138. He's just alive. Know, he's second in command. He's the worason

  139. that Egypt passed on. He's the man res possible for the wealth of li

  140. Urtex said that when when when when? When? When he saw the wagons

  141. with Joseph had said to carry him. The spirit of Jacob revived after the

  142. brothers of Joseph lied to Jacob about his death. I feel like the spirit

  143. of Jacob had died for some twenty two years. Jacob seemingly walked off the

  144. pages of scripture. You hear about Joseph and how it's going in Egypt,

  145. but you never hear anything said about Jacob. The last thing recorded of Jacob

  146. before his journey to Egypt, if I read, if I studied correctly,

  147. and I could be wrong, I've been wrong before. If I am,

  148. forgive me. But the last thing that I see recorded by Jacob before his

  149. journey to is Egypt is I will go down to the grave unto my son

  150. morning. That's the last thing. That's the last words you ever hear about

  151. Jacob until the chariots come rolling in, until the wagon train comes rolling down

  152. the dusty street. The last thing I read, the last thing I seen,

  153. and such a man of God. Jacob was such a fighter he was,

  154. but the fight was trained because of circumstances brought on by his elder sons.

  155. His fight was gone. But our text was the turn point for old

  156. Jacob. When he saw the wagons, he said his spirit revived. I

  157. tend to think that Jacob got a little excited. I believe he had a

  158. little pimp in his step. Right. Maybe he looked at Old rub and

  159. said, hey, I told you there was something special about that boy.

  160. I said, I told you ahead of guard was on that boy's life.

  161. Why I tell your son, he's coming morrow, dad, and he's bringing

  162. the best of the lamb. He's bringing the nises wagons I ever laid eyes

  163. on. I said, there's something special about that boy. I think that

  164. the spirit of the fighter returned in Old Jacob at that point. I believe.

  165. I believe that the spirit that came upony that or not by the brook

  166. we did. He wrestled with the angel I can't. It wasn't my brook

  167. maybe, but I knowing the spirit that used to that he used to be

  168. familiar with. We didn't wrestle with the angel until the break of days,

  169. and I won't let you go until you're blessed. It yours fighter spirit rose

  170. back up in old Jacob. Jacob's spirit was revived. And this is what

  171. I want to preach for just a little walk to night, I want to

  172. I want to preach you a little bit about the revival of a fighter.

  173. The spirit of Jacob had been crushed, it had been ground of power,

  174. but it didn't stay that way for law. He didn't stay that way forever.

  175. There comes a we never the spirit with in us thing to revive.

  176. We're the spirit of the fire in us needs to revive and renews him to

  177. fight with alarm. The FA reponent word a renewed desire for a personal revival

  178. or renewed desire for the spirit of God that dwell in us. I got

  179. tired of don't fighting a little over a year now, I got tired of

  180. that just giving in Yeah, I got tired of it. Just saying oh

  181. well puts me in a corner. I'll do whatever I said, the fighter

  182. rose up. It was around December that I settled it in my heart that

  183. I'm reade a fight. I'm gonna fight for my family. I'm gonna fight

  184. for my children. My spirit revived, my spirit revived, my crew.

  185. I decide I fight, Jacob. Spirit revived. You ever tried to pick

  186. something up there was a little too heavy for you, Well, I tell

  187. you what happened for me. Usually, this is the way my daddy raised

  188. me. He said, you gotta be smarter than it, you gotta be

  189. stronger than it. So I tell you what. Usually, whenever I can't

  190. get something, unless it's because like a car or something, I'll ever get

  191. that. But if it's just a little bit I can't look get it,

  192. I'm out there taken. I'll put it down and I'll look at it.

  193. I might be crazy, but I'm telling you ain't stronger than me, right,

  194. I kid you not. I do it. I said, I will

  195. end this. I will get you in the back of that truck. I

  196. said, the spirit of fire, I'll tell you the truth of my life.

  197. Lock that. Most of the time, I'll get that done. I'm

  198. not buller, hurt you, hey, but I got it in the truck.

  199. I win that fight. I won that battle. That was a battle

  200. of the streets. I get upset out myself, I really will. I'm

  201. not lying to you. I promise, I preach you. I get upsetting

  202. with myself in that whatever is I'm trying to pick up. You ain't gonna

  203. beat me. You ain't gonna get the best of me. I got more

  204. to fight at me than that. I'm come more of a spirit at me.

  205. Th that he just lay out a trip. I got more admiring me.

  206. I got lay my fight. The spirit of a fire needs Revie and

  207. some young men, some young women has some days a monis. That's the

  208. way you should look at some attitudes, some of them devils that fights you

  209. with your actions and your reactions. That's time I happens. Why don't it

  210. take a setback, Just take one set back and look at it and say,

  211. not today you are gonna get the best of me. You don't have

  212. the work saying I got the spirit of a fight. Hey, I'm ready

  213. to fight tonight. All my my sister Donna said the other night, Brother

  214. Nathaniel told me, she said, I feel like I was on a war

  215. horse. All service. Who I love that. I said, I'm on

  216. a war horse. Yeah, the spirit of a fighter, the spirit needs

  217. are reviving us. Be stronger than that attitude. Be stronger than that smart

  218. Now, be stronger than that temptation. Be stronger than that brun and desire

  219. that the spirit of fight in you, so that you can have strength because

  220. standing in the wicked day, for standing the evil day. You ever heard

  221. of a second wind or got the dealing with me on that I'm gonna I

  222. was gonna tily, but I couldn't away from revival of a fire. I

  223. was gonna title it a second win. I'll tell you what happened in the

  224. Book of Ezekiel, chapter number thirty seven, a second win. It's it

  225. you a chapter number thirty seven, verse number one through ten. The exceeding

  226. great army was dead. The bones were very tried and scattered the booty.

  227. But God said a prophet sound familiar, doesn't it? A little side note

  228. for you. I love my pastors preaching. I don't care if it's thirty

  229. minutes for thirty hours. I never heard somebody complain about to be along winded.

  230. But I got something to tell you. Sure winded preachers in the Bible

  231. were calling my prophets. This thought I got Jeremiah, I Renie, and

  232. it's in you. Why said I got awake? Prophet Petter to most number

  233. ten of chapter number thirty seven of the Book of his EQO says, so

  234. I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came in to them,

  235. and they lived. Sounds to me like they got their second word. The

  236. Valley of Dad try balls revived the spirit of Joke Jacob revived. I wonder

  237. if we got some young men, some young women, and some moms and

  238. dad, some grandparents in this house tonight and be honest and say, I

  239. feel like those balls. All I can do is preach what God gave me.

  240. I feel like I'm a soldier. I feel like I'm meant to be

  241. a soldier. I feel like I've been scattered. Oh God, but I'm

  242. ready to be revived. I'm ready to come back alive. I'm ready to

  243. stand on the sun of rock that is Christ Jesus and hope the battery of

  244. holiness higher. Someone might say, I feel like I've been scattered, and

  245. I'm ready for the wind of the Holy Ghost to blow across my life again.

  246. I'm ready for the wind of God to blow from the thirst heaven.

  247. God told execu're the prophesie of the wind, and the wind began to blow

  248. from the four corners. I believe it was Ball came to his bomb.

  249. Fless came this flesh. Flesh drew over him. Curt God of Heaven,

  250. Ezekuil prophesied to the wind. He prophesies of second win on that band of

  251. soldiers. I believe that God's in the business of reviving everyone that's desiring to

  252. fight. God's in the business of giving you the strength, if you have

  253. the will, if you'll square your soldiers, they said, I'm gonna fight.

  254. God will revive the spirit that's in you. It don't come to life.

  255. The Book of Luke, chapter number seven, verse eleven through seventeen is

  256. a story of a widow and her dead son in a town called Name.

  257. Jesus stopped the funeral procession to revive this man. I didn't find where where

  258. they asked him to. That's a rare occasion. That's rare. But I

  259. just have to believe that if you want to fight for the right, that

  260. He will ACQUI you. I just have to believe that God still in the

  261. business revives me. I just have to believe that God still in the business

  262. of raising up men that are willing to fight, and ladies that are willing

  263. to fight, to stand in the faith of Hell with a war of them,

  264. and to fight a Devil's happening like a fight God. Second King,

  265. chapter number thirteen, Versus twenty and twenty one. Issue was invaded by the

  266. Moabites. They were burying a man when they've seen the a band of enemy

  267. soldiers coming. The Bible said, they put the man in the grave.

  268. But it wasn't just any old grave. I said that we don't have time

  269. to finish the funeral. We just gotta throw this dive and we gotta get

  270. out of here. Well, it just happened to be the grave of o

  271. Elisha, the man of God, the man that God has spear it off,

  272. the man that fought for the King. You pick the right grave,

  273. boys, good choice. The Bible says, this man was revived and stood

  274. up on his sleep. He was revived by elciised balls in the spirit of

  275. God. The reviving power, the same power that's here right now, the

  276. same power of God that in this building tonight, that same spirit that wrong

  277. Jesus from to day. You want me to tell you what your sword is?

  278. What's your sword to fight? The Word of God is the sword of

  279. the Spirit. The spirit is your sword. Judge's fifteen eighteen through nineteen Sampson

  280. he killed a thousand Philistines with a donkey's jaw bone. All big. You

  281. don't get jawbon, brother, so that big? You ever heard of a

  282. bone killing that many people and not breaking. I messed with some cow schools

  283. and stuff. They break normally they're bridle. This would kill a thousand Phillistines

  284. by ahead of a lot of Sampson. Try to add that up. You'll

  285. try yourself crazy trying to add up what's in the Word of God. You

  286. do nothing but believe it. Believe the word of God. But the Bible

  287. says that after that great slaughter, Samson was just down. He was just

  288. all gave out. He gave everything. He had a thousand soldiers. I

  289. think if I took a thousand of my oldest sons, I'd be worn out.

  290. We ain't talking about little boys here, We're talking about trained soldiers that

  291. this man took out single handedly one thousand. Just tell him that one thousand

  292. takes a long time. Can't say I've ever done it. I might have

  293. sat down and actually took the time to count to one thousand. But that's

  294. a lot of soldiers, that's a lot of power for one man. Just

  295. bewildering, just overwhelm me. But after that great victory for the people of

  296. God, he thought he would die from thirst and become overtaken by the same

  297. ones he just defeended. Right, Well, it wasn't the same ones because

  298. they were dead, but they're near ken. Is that I've done out here?

  299. And I donet did this great deed, And I'm gonna die from thirst,

  300. and they're gonna take me and they're gonna hate me up in their city.

  301. They say, we've got a great Sampson. They'll probably spend some wild

  302. hell about how they captured the great Sampson, how they defeated the Great Samson.

  303. But verse nineteen says God cost water to come out of the Jaho bone.

  304. Come on, how awesome is our God? I tell you what.

  305. Next time you're walking through a value of a value of cow bone, pick

  306. one up and take you a dreuth. It ain't gonna happen. It ain't

  307. gonna happen God water the Man of God from a Jeha bone. Nothing is

  308. impossible. With our body, nothing is impossible. He's unstoppable. He's unstoppable.

  309. Nothing is impossible. The Bible said that the spirit of Samson was revived

  310. when he tasted of that water. His spirit came again to him, it

  311. says, and he revived. I wonder if we have someone here tonight that

  312. will say, I want my spirit to revive. I want the fire to

  313. come back with the life within me. And I know most of us better.

  314. The lives are fighters. You fight on your knees, you fight on

  315. your feet. But I really feel like we have a few that want to

  316. be fighters. They have a desire down here yet deep that God put in

  317. him that they want to be a fighter. They want to fight for us

  318. right. They want to stand on the word of God. We've talked about

  319. us who men tonight in an exceeding army that was revived by the spirit of

  320. God, revived by the power of God in many different ways. Nevertheless,

  321. they were revived. They received a new least on life, if you will,

  322. they had a second win. Faith should be soorrown in our spirits by

  323. now. Faith should have revived our spirit by now holding on to the fact

  324. that God is able, that it is possible with God, that all things

  325. are possible to God, that I can do all things through prize, rest

  326. strengthen the thief faith shore sore faith should soar, We should have a determination,

  327. so degree settled in our hearts from hearing the stories of these men of

  328. God, that not even ten thousand devils could convince us that we cannot be

  329. revived tonight. Every devil in hell shouldn't be able to convince you that it's

  330. impossible for you to be revived. That's where your spirit will come alive.

  331. Jacob's spirit revived, Ezequel's army revived, the widow's son revived. The man

  332. Bury on a licensed boat revived. Samson's spirit came again and he was revived.

  333. Gone through the business, the reviving, Gone through the business. I'm

  334. taking the stir on the fire. Turn the line. Oh he needs in

  335. a willing heart. Oh he needs is a willing young man or a willing
