Uh, the Saint du Saint Luke to twenty fourth chapter. Kay, I
-
don't know if I'm for best for may h, I know that, Uh
-
there's a picture of revival. Look around white and they go to James's severe
-
suburbs. Uh, this is such a great, great, great man and
-
just such a great spirit. And we just appreciate your doing anyway, Luke,
-
Chapter twenty four, Now, Paul, the first day of the week,
-
early in the morning, they came over the sept for bringing the spices.
-
Would they had prepared, and certain others been them. They found a
-
stone rolled away from the sephard. They entered in and found out the body
-
of the Lord Jesus. We came to passes. They were much perplexed thereabout
-
the old Two men stood by them in shining garments. Now they were afraid
-
about. Down their faces to the earth. They said, under their white
-
seek either living among the dead. He is not here, but he is
-
risening. Remember how his estate under you, when he was yetting down,
-
the saying the son of man must be delivered into the hats, and simple
-
men be crucified. The third day rise again they remembered his words. The
-
return told all these things under the eleven to all the rest was married Magdalene
-
and Joanna, and marry the mother of James. The other women were with
-
them, which told these things under the ass Their words seemed to them as
-
idle tales, and they believed them not. The rose peering around into the
-
second, and stooping down, he held the linen clothes laid by themselves,
-
and the parted, wondering in himself that which was the past. The two
-
of them went that same day, the whole two of them with that same
-
day to a village calling Maus, which was from Jerusalem, about three score
-
furlongs, and they talked together all these things which had happened. They came
-
to pass that. While they commuted together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near
-
and went with them. But their eyes were holding that they should not know
-
him. And he said under them one manner of communications, of these that
-
you have one to another as you walk in, or said, And one
-
of them, whose name was Kleopus, answer, he said, unto him,
-
art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, that's not know the things which
-
have come to pass there in these days? He said, unto them want
-
things they said undo him concerning Jesus of Nazath, which was a prophet mighty
-
indeed, and were before God and all the people. Now the chief priests
-
and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death and crucified him. But
-
we trusted that it happened he which should have redeemed Israel. And beside all
-
this, today's the third day. These things were done. Yet certain women
-
also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the separacum,
-
and they found not his finding. They came saying that they had also seen
-
a vision of angels, which it said that he was alive. And certain
-
of them which were with us, went to the sepulcher, found it even
-
so as the women had said, but him they saw not. Then he
-
sat under them ol'pools, and slow of hard to believe all that the prophets
-
have spoken, ought not Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into
-
His Grd, beginning at Moses and all the prophets he expounded under them,
-
and all the scriptures things concerning himself. They drew nigh under the village.
-
Whether they went, he made us way, wouldn't have gone further. But
-
they constrained him, saying, abide with us where it is toward Eden the
-
day as far as spin and he went in to charry with them and came
-
to pass. As he sat and meet with them, he took bread and
-
blessed, and breaking came to them. The rise were opened, and they
-
knew him. He managed out of their son, and they said, one
-
to another, did not our I remember within us? Well? They talked
-
to us by the way, while he opened to us the scriptures, and
-
they rose up the same hour and returned to Jerusalem. Right for years,
-
by the how I read these scriptures over and over again, I have heard
-
it preached Amen about the two men on the Ambas road. I got to
-
prayle one day, and I said, Lord, we know very well that
-
one of them name was Cleoles. I said, Lord, what was the
-
other man's name? And it just to hope the ghost just seemingly deal with
-
my soucal, Why do you say it was? So? I started searching
-
through the scriptures, and I found a group of women standing at the cross,
-
looking up at the Savior as he was crucified. They were named,
-
and he told about Mary Naklin who stood there. Don't not marry the mother
-
of the Lord and stood there, and then he said, marry the wife
-
of Cleophus was standing there now. So now we have Cleophus, and may
-
I say his plot are going home. They're not staying no longer. They
-
went as far as they could go. They trusted, they believed. But
-
yet somehow another, they now feel like it's over. I don't have any
-
reason to go on. I don't have any reason to trust anymore. I
-
don't have any reason to believe anymore. And they're walking away from Jerusalem.
-
Amen. And while they're walking away from Jerusalem, somebody starts walking with them.
-
Whoa not only walks with him, but he starts asking them about their
-
conversation, not condemning their conversation, but asking him about their conversation. Then,
-
and as they tell him about these things, brother Philip, he starts
-
telling them, amen, things Amen, that the scriptures had already promised them
-
a man. They still don't know who he is. Is he now?
-
But they say, we're getting ready to turn into our house. Would you
-
please come in with us? Would you come in with us? And as
-
he sat at the table and broke bread with them, their eyes were opened.
-
Had they realized who it was when the Bible said, then he disappeared
-
out of their sight, and they accepted not our heartburn than us. He
-
talked with us in the way when he opened none of us the scriptures.
-
I want to preach to night for just a little while. If the Lord
-
had helped me on the right God when you're on the wrong road again,
-
the right God when you're on the wrong road. And and something that really
-
caught my attention, brother, how the Angel had told the window that he
-
meant to go and tell the disciples that Jesus was going to meet with him
-
down in Jerusalem. He was going to meet with him in that out of
-
the room. He was gonna meet with them. He was gonna with him.
-
He was gonna show them his glove. He met. But before he
-
went down to Jerusalem, before he went to wear, all those apostles were
-
waiting on him. Before he went to wear, all those were waiting to
-
shout. There were two they were on the wrong road. And he said,
-
I've got to go meet with them first. I've got to go talk
-
with them first. I've got to go deal with them first. He meant
-
some man, and there may have been some brother how he membver would have
-
said, if they're gonna walk away, let them walk away. If they're
-
gonna leave them, if they're gonna go away, who cares? He mem
-
But there was one that cared. There was one of care that they were
-
on the wrong road. There was one that cared that they were walking away.
-
There was one of the cares that they had given up. There was
-
one of care that they had lost their faith. There was one of the
-
care he met that their hearts were broken. And may I tell you tonight,
-
I'm plan. He's God. When we're shouting, I'm Pranny's com when
-
we're on the mountain talking, I'm cut his talk with things are going right.
-
But pre can I tell you a bunch of us would not be here
-
tonight had he not been the right talk. But we were all the right
-
way as worse again he now, And then I want you to notice.
-
These were not he then the town Gronkx that were on the wrong road.
-
These were not the reprobates of the city. These were two that had went
-
all the way to the cross. These were two that had seen the blood
-
pouring down over rock across. These were two he men that had heard his
-
words that had set with him, that had seen his miracles. I'm gonna
-
tell you were in the wrong road is not something that we can be immune
-
to and that we can be doing the best we can do. And all
-
of a sudden, brother, Cheremiah, it seems like we're just not where
-
we need to be. We're just not doing what we ought to be doing.
-
We're just not feeling what we ought to be feeling. And it is
-
in those times at the adversary of our soul, well jump in, I'd
-
say you must be lost, you must have done something wrong. Jokes comforters
-
will run in a debitation and put a finger and saying, what if you've
-
done wrong that you're not feeling Tod, Boy, you should be feeling Tod.
-
And there are some that we'll kill up. And there are some they'll
-
say, there's no use to go wrong. But may I tell you,
-
for he hears the right God. When you're on the wrong road, he's
-
the right Tod. When you're not doing in the right direction, he then
-
he then amen, may I say this tonight, He men the right on
-
the highway of holding us, right on that road of redemtion, where the
-
history we can find ourselves walking in the wrong direction. I've done it,
-
he man, I've done it. If you haven't, God bless your soul.
-
Amen, But I have done it. I have reached that place where
-
I felt like I'm not headed in the direction I need to be going in.
-
And Brother hal he meant he didn't give up on me. And I
-
don't know. I'm probably not preaching to everybody tonight, but I'm richer to
-
somebody tonight. The wonders, can't God help me, or I'm out right
-
now, can't God move for me? Or I'm not right now? Can't
-
God touch me? Or I'm at right now? He Now, notice when
-
they said to him, they said, we trusted. That's what I am.
-
We trusted. We trusted. I'm gonna tell you trust, he man,
-
can become a trial. And then we we live in a world of
-
broken hearts and trusted. We were looking at a world of tear drump stained
-
pillows where somebody trusted. A world of broken hearted. Mama so trusted,
-
broken hearted, that is trusted, broken hearted children that trusted. Amen,
-
Amen, I'll had something not longo than in our nation. There's an absolute
-
lack of trust. And I'm wondering, Saints of God, A man and
-
some the men that are on that road to the off feel the holy ghost
-
of God right here. He then, I want to preach this. And
-
I know you may not shout and you may not worship, but I feel
-
like shouting right now. He then, because I am one that was not
-
left in my own devices on the wrong road, I have won that brother,
-
when are down on the wrong road, there was one walk with me.
-
There was one did not give up on me. I wish you'd help
-
me tonight, Saints of God, I wish you'd pray for this poor penomal
-
preacher. A lot play pop less him tonight. But I feel like somebody
-
needs to hear this tonight. He is still the right God. When you're
-
on the wrong road, a man and man you're being on the wrong road
-
does not make him not the right dog. He's still the right dog.
-
He's stilling, he's still saying he skeed my side. There still the out,
-
He's still the old adel. He's stilling getting He's still the amen.
-
He then he them, we live in time. The man with that couple
-
would have been disparaged by many. Many would have said, why reach for
-
them. Amazes me that all the disciples, all of those that had been
-
to the cross, all of those that had been to that company, that
-
had been fed that company, that had been the multitude that we're with him,
-
Why did not one of them? He then, why did not one
-
of them wonder about Kleopus? Why did not one of them wonder about his
-
wife? He then, why why didn't not one of them say, maybe
-
we ought to talk to Kleopas and his wife? He then, amen,
-
Oh, I always help me that I saint to God. He then he
-
men, how mean we we hear scriptures that ain't scriptures pre shotting the book
-
of Isaias. He never the first ideas? He man, whatever tubs,
-
God shout on its all long? He men, he may word in the
-
world, you get crazy nonsense like that? He man. He then he
-
did, But one one said, he then, what want Jesus? Don't
-
you know they're waiting on you down Jerusalem? Don't you know the why shout
-
down down there? Don't you know they're gonna be chumping up down and screaming
-
and hollering and squalling. Yeah, I don't know that. But there's a
-
couple walking up the road. But I've got to go talk with them.
-
I've got to not only go talk with them, I'm gonna go send at
-
their dinner table. I'm not only got to go send their dinner table.
-
I've kind of preaching on Bible to him. And then we call and then
-
the brother Nathaniel, the Bible said, they went in because he was getting
-
dark. They went incause he's getting night. They went incas me weighing down.
-
It's late. But immediately, the Bible said, they rose up and
-
headed back to Jerusalem. And when I came to heaven, brother Jacobs,
-
I want to ask somebody, what were they hollered when they ran through the
-
door. What were they telling everybody? Ain't you the two that walked away?
-
Yeah, so while we were walking away, somebody started walking away about
-
say Dad, who in the world? Not that appeared that was the right
-
God. But when you're on the wrong road, when you feel like I
-
can't go no further, we be like I've went as far as I can
-
go. Wh I trust it hasn't let me count. When you feel like
-
what I believe him ain't known has fail men for somebody, order worship is
-
right now? Amen? Amen? Because he not for you been the right
-
God, and then when you were on the wrong road, Amen, amen.
-
And then you said, preacher, I've never strayed off the straight and
-
narrow way. And then may I tell you and then there are crooks and
-
dens. Amen amen. I believe it was John John F. Kennedy Jr.
-
Who crashed his prain into the Chestea Bay. He was a very very
-
skilled pilot, very well trained pilot. They said when his plane hit the
-
water with a hestor, he was flying upside down because he had got so
-
confused about the direction that he was going that he no longer knew if he
-
was flying upside or downside. He really didn't know anymore. May I tell
-
you, friend, hey man, we can wag a finger and say they
-
shun no better. We can look at them and say they should have done
-
better. Kreed, hey man, point your every one of you pouring a
-
finger at me. I should have known better, I should have done better.
-
Keep down. He never Thank God, there's one who's still the right
-
God. When you're walking down the wrong road, somebody that he's came by
-
and helped you on a lift a hand up. Right now is about the
-
dinner. The songs had it not been for the Lord that was on our
-
side, had it not been for God who came by, where would you
-
be right? Now? Get records word, he would be praised, fear
-
record his word. Dec He's worthy, and you all the bard. He's
-
not just God, Amen, who we're in our best He's not just God.
-
He then when you have all the answers, he's not just God.
-
He man when everything is right where it ought to be. But He's sent
-
me here to night to tell you that he's still God on the word.
-
Amen, Oh Lord help me now, Saints of God, Hey, now,
-
hey, Now. The Bible gives us the story in the Book of
-
Kings. It says that there was a family in the city. They told
-
us how grievous the family that got told us the commerce in the city want
-
to big pain for just a padful of gray line, they said, said
-
immediately, there were four leprous men at the entering end of the gate,
-
and they said one to another, I said, we here until we die.
-
If we fall and we go in the city, we'll die. If
-
we stay here, we die also. And then they said, let us
-
therefore fall under the host of the Syrians. If they spare us alive.
-
We shall live. If they kill us, we shall die. And they
-
rose up, sister howel, and I wonder if the watchmen on them also,
-
those four crippled, weak, sick men walking towards the camp of the
-
in me and thought, where in the world do they think they're going?
-
Don't they know they're going in the wrong direction. Don't they know that there's
-
no help for them down there? Don't they know they are to stay where
-
they are? But they said it, and I stay here, I will
-
die. He new they net. But the stopper on the wall says,
-
you can't go all the way down there? But hey not. But the
-
Lord he had it already. They a life. They were standing me because
-
they were walking down that road in the camp of the Syrian Army. I
-
do not know why much noise, leprous, bare feet blake walking on the
-
dirt road, I know, Adam, But the Syrian Army wasn't here an
-
ape leprous steep walking on the road. They sat awa here an army telling
-
a lady whoa sounds like the eighties second airport and telling him wow, sounds
-
like aircawn telling him came in, and they did not put up a defense.
-
They didn't grab their swords, they didn't grab their spears. They just
-
had a house and left everything there. And I'll tell your friend Cookie's all
-
right. God. When you're on the wrong road, amen, An,
-
we can make a choice. We can walk that wrong road without him,
-
where we can walk that wrong road with him. We can stretch a hand
-
up and say, Lord, I know where I want to be. I
-
know where I need to be. Who want you walk with me until I
-
can get turned around? Who you walk with me until I can get this
-
settled? Will you walk with me till I can get this figure down?
-
I was somebody help me run now? I there? I have a church.
-
I mean like something just oh God, something just turned over back then
-
going? Would you help me out now? Come? May not be doing
-
what I need to be doing. I may not be heading where I need
-
to be headed the God, would you walk with me right now? But
-
just a little while. Somebody on the placing right now he now a man,
-
he's he's here for the wh they go boring to goardy the brother Jacobs.
-
He then all the way down here in Florida. He then, Amen,
-
they might have been some seen you leave in the state of Indiana and
-
said, what in the world are you doing on that road? What are
-
you doing? Layman? On that road heading south? He didn't do what
-
you know, that's the long road for an Indiana boy. Adamn. But
-
it was the right God. And know that you on that road? Hey,
-
now, Amen, can I tell you not I turn not thriving?
-
Amen, down the roads in this country. He's been the right God when
-
I've been on the wrong road. He's been a right God. When I
-
didn't know which direction to go, He's been the right God. But I
-
didn't know which way to turn. I was so fut in the place.
-
He got out, Amen, man, I mam. He now with a
-
paper of who mean? What kind of god would he be? Amen?
-
He men? Who if he had absolutely he meant no power. Amen?
-
When his fallible creation Amen, gets on the wrong road. Amen, a
-
friend, I'm not infallible, but he is. I'm not heman impeccable,
-
but he is. I am not beyond doubt, but he is. I
-
am not above failed, but he is man. And that's what they put
-
all to his heart. Put my hand in his hand and go, and
-
I'll trust him for the road that I'm long right now, even if we're
-
on the right road tonight, would you pray for me for just a moment,
-
please, because I'd like to reach out into this service and I'd like
-
to see him ripe his arm around somebody. I'm saying, let me walk
-
with you a little while, let me walk a little further with you,
-
let me take you just a little further on this road. Man man,
-
he said he wouldn't. He made as though he would have gone further.
-
Do you know what? He was sitting his sister to me, and he
-
was saying that he's fixing and leaves fixing. They constrained him and said would
-
you keep walking with but you came back, gus, would you keep walking
-
with us? And the lamb of God changed his direction? Win it with
-
them? Ask you tonight, amen, Ask you tonight. Does he ever
-
being with God? And he wasn't. Just exactly, say, preacher,
-
that's not that's no message, Preacher, the Bible of holding this people,
-
you're amen, perhaps not, perhaps not. Perhaps it is my oddity that
-
brings into us with no better may do and say, well, that's not
-
normal message. I'm not a lorm tho. They haven't never accoosed to be
-
a momma. I mean, it's been longings, but as never know him
-
him. Someone to ask somebody tonight, would you like here? Would you
-
like him? To a man away? With this notion that you find him.
-
He's not wrongs, you don't. You don't go looking for him.
-
He comes looking for you there, Amen, And then he comes looking for
-
that one. Hey man, Where was that little sheep? Amen? Heymember
-
the little sheep that wandered away? There was a hundred in that flock,
-
pretty good flock of sheep. I was driving through Aspen, Colorado one year.
-
Had been hunting out in the Rocky mountains, and as I come through
-
Aspen, I looked up on the hillside, multi million dollar nations built in
-
the sides of the mountains there, and I it's a big ski community,
-
big wealthy community. I looked at it looked like an avalanche coming down the
-
mountain, the big white curtain coming down the mountain. I stopped the truck
-
on the side of the road, Brother Jesse and I watched it. There
-
were men on horses guiding the whole big herd of sheep right through those multi
-
million dollar yards, right through all of those he now mansions he'll come a
-
big flock of sheep. And then I asked somebody at a gas station.
-
I said, what were they doing? Said? The sheep were in a
-
place where they couldn't exist because it's sticks and it told up there where they
-
were, he sticks in it again, he been hungry up there where they
-
were, so they were leaving them down. He then, or didn't it
-
bother the people who they there? Yeah? He then he men, but
-
the shepherd, the shepherd didn't care. How let you put in your walk.
-
The shepherd become what you caught him? That? I said, the
-
shepherd, people, tell you what you thought wrong? The shepherd had said,
-
sheep, you didn't have to get the apple, because if I don't
-
get him, care who they are, they're not gonna take you. They're
-
not going to say. God saw there this shepherd had a hundred and one
-
of them? What with? What still got done? The god? But
-
Jesus said, what mad of you? Did not say hardly a wolf?
-
He said, what mad of you? Whoa Now? I preach him over
-
here? Well, yeah, what mad of you? Have a hundred sheep?
-
And one of them let us went astray? Would not leave then?
-
And then and go after that let's go on a straight and then we miss
-
it so much sometimes, brother, start when the Bible said, when he
-
finds it, and then what does he do? Kick him aside the head
-
and say, get my hold? What does he do say? You stupid
-
sheep, you're sadne, you're doing a hog And then you you, you
-
left you, you walked away? Amen. He may no those sheep like
-
you know, she'd cared about you. He may see where you're stupid.
-
Hey, man, you're a stupid sheep. Amen. No, a man
-
who man, He picks it up and puts it up on his shoulder.
-
There is nothing in the scripture that tells us that the sheep could not walk
-
on its own. It could. It was not injured, it was not
-
crippled, it was not bending up. He then, Jesus said, the
-
good shepherd who laying in upon his shoulder and comes home rejoiceing you talk about
-
the right God along the wrong road. He now he know I'm going about
-
somebody or to rushing him right now, somebody order plays him right now.
-
He now, I ain't a order up here. Just don't be revival here.
-
And if there's some wrong roads in the back, there's the wrong roads
-
in buston. There's a long roads in border, but there's a right dog.
-
Let me on the long room. There's roads to lead to the beer
-
joints, there's roads to lead to the front houses. There's roads to lead
-
to the damn damns. But there's a right God. There's a roight goddamn
-
r B. How you mentioned it? You already preached it. Man.
-
At the start of the service, we reached the place where we preached more
-
on the wrong road than we did on the right dog. Our message was
-
just about the wrong road. We had a perfect description of the wrong road.
-
We had a perfect amen example of the wrong road. But in that
-
did we forget about the right God? Did we forget him? Want you
-
worship that right God? Now? Who? Man, Oh Man, who
-
Man? There's strong wounds that we get on accidentally. There's wrong roads we
-
get on out of neglect. There's wrong roads we get on because something happened.
-
But I want to preach to you tonight that he's steal the right God,
-
that he's steal the right God. And it is no accident that this
-
service has taken the turn that he's taken. Right now. We shouted last
-
night for three hours. He may you an we could worship him right now.
-
The trust a few moments and man, but brother, it's not like
-
a tidal wave going through right now. No, maybe not he man,
-
but he's still the right God. He's steal the right God by the history
-
he now, he's steal the right God. But I trusted, and I
-
trust is violated. He's steal the right God. But I've done things I
-
said. He's still the right God. But I feel like a failure body.
-
He's still the right God. But I can't go walk. But he's
-
steal the right dog. I don't know. I can mean to tanger,
-
but he's still the right God, or to call it go to God,
-
sisterlia, I do not want he meant to in such a focus on the
-
wrong road, but I forget the right God. Amen. Amen. He
-
met him right down here in a little place called the Bell, Florida.
-
Would you do me a favor and lay your hand over on somebody and ask
-
God to richly bless them right down, Lord, per spirit out of here.
-
Right now he met brother howled humpy like somebody aroun all to preach.
-
If you can believe me, if you can believe this old preacher for just
-
a little while. Do you believe that he's a lot god? From when
-
you're at right now? He? Now do you believe he's a right god?
-
He? Now? He Man, he's not the God that justifies evil.
-
He's not the God that justifies him. He there the is he the
-
God that cast him away? They know the fault? Amen, man,
-
man, this note and woman, this man and woman by the Christian thank
-
giving up this man and woman who said it's old? Where do I go?
-
So I'm gonna ask us tonight and this so I hope And you said,
-
well, very no excuse, numbers are not there? Really isn't.
-
I mean, do you have a wonderful pastor here, you have a wonderful
-
church here, and we have a wonderful God. But unfortunately I'm preaching to
-
humans tonight. Right, But the hest of humans, if given a choice
-
between two roads, will at least fifty percent of the time takes wrong.
-
On most likely ninety nine point nine percent of the time. Yeah, man,
-
we have an adversary news waiting to tell you the truth. We have
-
an adversary brother of mine that's quick to point out to you there's no use
-
you're in the third week of revival, shut this thing down. We're tired
-
and we're we're out. Breacher, did you understand that I've been in revival
-
basically since June the tenth of nineteen ninety four, Soul, I do understand.
-
Tired. Well, my body's sore. That was over with me a
-
long time ago. That amen, that's donee Amen, Amen, Amen.
-
And I feel like right here in Odel, but there's somebody I'm saying,
-
n why that right now? Yeah? Right? H Can you help me
-
out of that? Can you? Can you help me where I am?
-
And I see a couple walking away? Jesus went to work with him,
-
and I feel like he stepped in this service tonight, reach out into this
-
service and ask him, would you really walk with you right? Would you
-
mean yeah? Would you make this precious savor who cared so much about that
-
want that he erected the Jerusalem Company go with that one. You love them
-
on that answer? We we we we we are we are being Pentecostal,
-
being holders, being Christian. To Damascus Road needs something glorious death. I
-
mean, if I said Damascus Road, you all would just say yeah.
-
But that day the Mascus Road was not the road of redemption. There was
-
a road taking him to destroy There was a road taking him to wreck Havoc.
-
There was a road taking him to he now to he then annihilate the
-
church. You talk about the road road cow Rode wasn't Damascus road. For
-
Saul of Tarsus. Cow Rode was the road he was on. Amen,
-
this is a man that stood and held the darments of those that stone Stephen
-
to death. Right now, ain'ten But on that road, whoa a great
-
lights you? And a voice rang out of heaven and said, Saul,
-
Saul, why persecutest thou me? Amen? Who art thou Lord? And
-
he said, I am Jesus, who Lord of God, sinks of God
-
the Damascus road. A man turned around that day, a man from being
-
the wrong road to the right road, because the right God had gone on
-
the wrong road. A man, may I tell you tonight, he and
-
the roads you're on right now. God can change that into a glorious walk
-
with him. God can turn that into a glorious Amen. I ain't never
-
ray shut ship with him? Why God send a prophet how to South Florida,
-
Because there's a long rooms there and there's a lot of people that need
-
to know. Because you're right though, if you know that room or worshiping,
-
worshiping, Yeah, whereas in the Bible, somewhat like this, somewhat
-
like this, not nearly as high way off in another part of the world.
-
I feel like that night, brother, how that the world's gonna save
-
somebody. I look back at the start of the service. There was of
-
acculent mother and her daughter sitting on the back rooms. There you go,
-
it's Aramah. We threw, We preached everything. When you preached him,
-
every sing they pop up a gond, they laughed. I finally fell on
-
old that night. I said, God, forgive me. I did not
-
give the I thought I did forgive me, And all of a sudden I
-
smell the unmistakable smell of whiskey. If you don't know what it smells like,
-
Thank God, I wish I didn't. I did it. I smelled
-
whiskey and cigarette smoked, not a whiff. But I had been marrinly do
-
you in it? For months? And I looked around by the Gabriel.
-
The first thing I saw was a broken nose, a lip that was all
-
toward pieces, blood smeared on the face, and I look around and that
-
basin and says, I just got whooked in the bar down the road.
-
Is there something better than that marmoriating? I said, they're sure he is.
-
And whiskey smell and cigarette smell, and oh we prayed and walled and
-
prayed. And he jumped up and he lifted his hands up and looked around
-
at the church and said, you will never see me in this shape again.
-
He brother Hawl come in the next night. He was a young he's
-
twenty six years old. He was a single young man. He man.
-
He had went to the thrist storm, bought a suit. He men,
-
you couldn't have buttoned it, would have come along sleeves. Taught him about
-
right there britches. Could have waited in the creek and never got wet.
-
A man here, he come here, able under his arm hem in that
-
on waited down the truck in the snowstorm. Hey man come walking in.
-
I wouldn't have known him but his nose. You get your nose broke tonight.
-
He can get saved. Tomorrow you'll be a saved. Broke nose out?
-
Did amen? I got amen? Amen? Wha he come in tooth
-
knockdown nose broke Bible under his arm and said, God save me. Last
-
not my road was he on. He was on the wrong road, like
-
a right doddady on the wrong road. That Got's how center gets saved.
-
That's how so gainst the day. That's how a present. I'm somebody on
-
the watching me, somebody whoa amoun o gordy worship them sins, raising sense,
-
glory to God, Glory to God, wordy to God, a god.
-
The history I know you've heard, Tom Knight. They told that when
-
I first went in that country is big Indian preacher, They said an Amen
-
said that they go Indian preacher. Amen, coming around and run. The
-
Indians got to preaching to them, got to wearing their hides off. Amen.
-
But God started saving them. I'm gonna tell your friend, Amen,
-
when you start putting stipulations on who God can save and who God cats save,
-
you got to check your credentials first, cause you ain't talking. You
-
ain't gonna mail pack your hand hushed out. It was able to say that.
-
The other one he says he's able to same. He mal he mad
-
brother, how I've heard him say that one will never make it? God
-
help us? Whoa oh brother, well, they don't know nothing about holding
-
the say, can't get saved. My Grandpaul was a bootlegger. My dad
-
was a drunk. I was destined to be walls. They called my grand
-
Paul Trigger Jim because he had these three fingers blowed off his hand. They
-
called him the trigger. Amen. Amen, I'm named after him, as
-
my first name is Jim. Amen. Amen, I am Trigger Jim's grandson.
-
Amen. He then Triggered Jim's grandson was supposed to make whiskey. Also,
-
Trigger Jim's grandson was supposed to be lost. Also, he now now
-
trigger Jim's grandson met a little little girl whose family went to a nominal Pentecostal,
-
very nominal Pentecostal church. Not a little Amen, Amen, that little
-
girl. Amen, are y'all gonna y'all don't go fall out of me?
-
Are you? I love you? I love you? I do Amen.
-
The Trigger Jim's grandson, the little little girl with a hair whacked off,
-
make up on her face and jewelry all over. Amen. And Trigger Jim's
-
grandson married Debbie Allen. Amen. Amen. And one night Debbie Allen said,
-
Mom is aggravating me to death to go to revival with her. Amen,
-
I said, what are you going to do? And she said,
-
I guess I'm gonna go set Burr address because she didn't know him. One
-
sister, Amen, you know one Amen and Amen tripped Jim Grahamson whiy come
-
home from removal and said, God save me, God Save God Save me,
-
God save me. He then he them we weren't either more. He
-
didn't mean her. Neither one raised under a pupil. He didn't. Neither
-
one of us grew up in mister man. We didn't grow up during the
-
youth camp. We didn't grow up. He now, we didn't grow up.
-
They never even prayed to him and night he man. We grew up,
-
Amen, like the world grows up. But thank God, thank God,
-
thank God, thank God. On the road road, and then we
-
met the right God came man. We met the woman that brought us out.
-
We met the Lorman repeated us, we want the worm turned us around.
-
We met the woman that saved us. He gonna tell me not to
-
worship him. You might as well us. I worship him. Amen,
-
Your sister's going get mad at me and probably hate me. Am. She
-
said, I'm saved. She went in there, had a big old black
-
garbage bag, grabbing her clothes and putting in back garbage back. I said,
-
where you going? She said, I ain't going nowhere. I said,
-
what are you doing when your clothes? She said, I'm throwing away.
-
I said, how's come you throwing your clothes away? She said,
-
I can't wear them no more? I said, what's kate, she's mar
-
wearing no more? She said, I got saved. I don't get it.
-
I just don't get it. I said, what are you gonna wear?
-
She said, I'm gonna wear dresses? I said, why a mind
-
me? You like that? Okay, said Chi Serena. He man,
-
I'm afraid to turn my back. Amen. Now, I'll give her four
-
dollars every Friday to go to the yard seats. That many she drove a
-
nineteen seventy two Pontiac Catalina that's as big as a guid ship. She would
-
put in a gas station and keep one dollars worth of regular amen, and
-
go to the yard sale and bought dresses and skirts. And she would come
-
home with a bushel. But she come home like Ruth bringing her grain home.
-
Heymen, haymen to you. And she started bringing home black breeches,
-
and I said, who's them yours? Why does them be mine? I
-
will never wear them? He said, you will when you go church with
-
me, won't you? I said, I'm not going. I said,
-
don't bury me in them, bury me in mossy old camel. That sai
-
what I wave? Whoa? She fought me first pair of dress shoes after
-
home. She said, look at me. I said, oh, why
-
don't you wearing that things when you go to church? Sister Nador On the
-
rooftop where I worked, I stand up there with a camel cigarette hanging in
-
my mouth, and I fell down on my knees and said, God,
-
I don't know you, but if you can save me, will you please
-
save me? Will you please save me? Will you please save me?
-
Have a great call of eternity, the alpha and the make up, the
-
beginning of the the first and the last, the line and the Topatuda,
-
the roles of Sharon saved ray Ash. So I've come to not to reach
-
to somebody and tell you if you feel like somehow another preacher I've got on
-
the wrong road, come to line to tell you he's the right God.
-
The wrong road can't get us. A song somebody. I told you,
-
I'm not preaching to everybody, preaching to somebody to night. Don't look around.
-
Of course you don't know. That's why I don't begree I don't know.
-
It is not my business. It's the business of God Regan. So
-
I say, give us a song that I want to ask you? What
-
chose him? Yeah? Yeah, yeah what you what? You walk with
-
your wass? This this robe you're on right now? Yeah, well preach
-
right before I could, before I could pray, I'd have to do this
-
and this and this and this and that. If this and this and this
-
and this and this would fix things, you wouldn't need to pray. But
-
there's nothing you can do. Mm seah. Salvation is not our works.
-
That's my grace. Three things m hm say Prichard, I'm not I don't
-
know if I believe exactly I can do it. Do you believe that Jesus
-
died with the sins of mankind? Do you believe it's somewhere over on that
-
ord of the cross? I believe in dying Son of God. You're down
-
through time and said we're going to walk with you. I'm opening these orders
-
right now. I don't know who needs to pray. But I want to
-
give you the opportunity to pray. But I'm you're coming on? Won't you
-
come to night and see camp? Say, I ain't lost, preacher.
-
Are you satisfied with the roads you're off? Are you satisfied with that road
-
that you're walking on right now? Older's open? Won't you come? Won't
-
you come and see him to night? Won't you come and seek him to
-
night? Yeah? Staying over there at the baptizing Sunday, I saw some
-
tears running down face, say Preachrick, Oh no, no, I mean
-
dad, why do you recognn So I'm preature here and I can tell you
-
about the right God for the wrong road. Why do you think God did
-
that? Do you thank God doesn't know? Do you think God doesn't care?
-
He's always open? Whoever? Come, come on, come on,
-
let's come and part. Let's come and part, let's come and pray.
-
H m hm, I'm sure, come on, sons h h h h.
-
She said, no, I'm not gonna let you go. I'm not
-
gonna let you slip me. You don't like to be Lac said, no,
-

the world. I could not understand woo and for the cause of Christ.
-
I had spent my days believing at work he had me be to I has
-
I come to see the weaker side of me? I really, by Grace's
-
wood, I need and with seeing demand justice for my Mercy said, no,
-
I'm not gonna lest you go. I'm not gonna lest you still up
-
away. You don't have to be away. Mercy said, no, she
-
will never take control like a guest. Face to face, darkness is trying
-
to steal my hardly you, Jesus Mercy said. Mercy said, no,
-
I'm not gonna let you go. I'm not gonna lest you spit up a
-
way you you don't have a big season. No, sill, never take
-
control like the best and faith to face darkness, tried to steal loud live
-
the day you, Jesus Percy said, Gods who love the world, that
-
he sent his son to save us from the prossy being Fridge to say us
-
free over deep within our home. There's still worded region and masy sacrifice so
-
hard to see m and we did not feel on crucificion need a lot of
-
holes. He goes so far away and as he tried to stop, redeemed
-
to throw Percy said, no, I'm not elect to go como elect you
-
sleep up away. You don't have to be away. Mercy said, no,
-
she will never take control. Living as the face the things done.
-
He's trying to see my horror take Jesus Percy said. Percy said, no,
-
I'm not gonna let you go. I'm not gonna let you stand up
-
away. You don't have to be away that seeson. No, she will
-
never take control. Lie and dance in the face to face, start inside
-
and steal my hardway. Then you, Jesus Ncy say mm hmmm h t
-
While long load agency looked at at the suffered as a blackness of glog.
-
Start over my heart. Chak betwe my nest replied, running down its fire.
-
No see was bl looking side with fet doll, but gone out in
