Numbers, chapter number eleven, verses number twenty three through twenty five, thirty
-
one, and thirty two. Brother Nathaniel, Philippians, Chapter number four and
-
verse number nineteen. Brother Jesse, Amos, chapter number eight, verses number
-
eleven and twelve. While you're turning there, look at your neighbor somebody and
-
say, hey, neighbor, have you been complaining? Say no, I
-
have not, have you. I don't really know why God gave me this
-
message to preach to this people on this Wednesday night, but I do know
-
that the Lord dealt with my heart concerning this particular verse of scripture numbers chapter
-
number eleven and verse number twenty three. Brother Nathaniel, Philippians, Chapter number
-
four and verse number nineteen. My God shall supply all your needs according to
-
His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Wow. But my God shall supply
-
all your needs. The reason why his God would supply their needs is because
-
he was their God too, Brother Jesse. When you read Amos chapter number
-
eight, verses number eleven and twelve, behold the days come, saith the
-
Lord God that I will send a famine in the land, not a femine
-
of bread nor a thirst for order. But of hearing the words of the
-
Lord, they shall wander from sea to sea, from north even to the
-
east. They shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord,
-
and shall not find it. My Ma, Ma, our dear brother
-
brother justin rope Cap says often during Sunday school, we are well fed here
-
at Bethel. All right, let's stand for the reading of our Golden text
-
numbers chapter number eleven. Let's look at Versus number twenty three through twenty five.
-
The Bible says that the Lord's siding to Moses is the Lord's hand waxed
-
short. Thou shalt see now whether my words shall come to pass unto thee
-
or not. And Moses went out and told the people the words of the
-
Lord, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and
-
set them round about the Tiber now called. And the Lord came down in
-
a cloud and spake unto him, and took the spirit that was upon him
-
and gave it unto the seventy elders. And it came to pass that when
-
the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied and did not cease. Now I
-
want to remind this people in February of twenty twenty three, and this is
-
May of twenty twenty four. In February of twenty twenty three, one night
-
in my office I asked the Lord to do this very thing. Just a
-
few days later, God sat divide and filled with a hole it ghosts several
-
of the men in this church, and called them to preach that very week.
-
Now I want to draw your attention to verse number thirty one, the
-
Bible said. And there went forth the wind from the Lord and brought quails
-
from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were
-
a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on
-
the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubans
-
high upon the face of the earth. And the people stood up all that
-
day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they
-
gathered the quails. He that gathered least gathered ten homers, and they spread
-
them all abroad for themselves round about the camp our Golden Texas Verse number twenty
-
three. And the Lord sat under Moses. Is the Lord's hand waxed short.
-
Thou shalt see now my words shall come to pass unto thee or not
-
with to stretch your hand toward Heaven. Ask the Lord to help us in
-
this place. Tony, Heavenly Father, we love it, We praise you,
-
We thank you for the opportunity to be in your house. We pray
-
God that you would anoint this thy servants and a guard in my mouth and
-
help me to say the things that you would have it to say, nothing
-
more less. Anoint the ears of this thy people, that they might hear
-
what the Spirit of God saith under the Church through your blessed word, through
-
the preaching of your words. I prayed God that we would not be hearers
-
only, but that we would heed these words. We know the Spirit of
-
God has been speaking to us, Tony, through these that have testified,
-
these that have exhorbited, these that have admonished. We thank you for what
-
you're doing in this house, for this thy people. We pray God that
-
these people would depart this place joyfully and not sorrowly. In the name of
-
Jesus and the Church says hey man, drawing your attention again. Our Golden
-
Text numbers chapter number eleven and verse number twenty three. The Bible says,
-
and the Lord said of the Moses is the Lord's handwax short, thou shalt
-
see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not. I
-
want to preach a message the Holy Ghost title God can reach you and your
-
need. God can reach you and your need. Our text is found in
-
an Old Testament book of the Holy Bible, the Book of Numbers. This
-
book is the fourth book of the Old Testament and also the fourth book of
-
the Bible. While reading through this book of the Bible again last month,
-
I noticed that God let his people, the Israelies, to Mount Sinai.
-
In fact, in recent weeks I have preached from this Book of Numbers.
-
Now I want to preach from this Book of Numbers again tonight, and I
-
want to draw your attention to the contents of the Context of Numbers Chapter eleven.
-
I noticed that God led his people whom he had chosen, whom he
-
had specially selected to be his chosen people, these Israelites, to a special
-
meeting place, naming the mountain called Sinai. He wanted to meet with him
-
there. How many of you feel like God has met with us in this
-
service tonight? Truly, we have detected and enjoyed the presence of the Lord.
-
I'm glad that the name of the Lord has declared and proclaimed here.
-
I'm glad that the name of the Lord is lifted up here, and that
-
because you all are lifted up the name of the Lord, he is drawing
-
mankind within this area unto himself. I want to encourage you to keep lifting
-
up the name of the Lord. The Bible said, the name of the
-
Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into it. And our saying,
-
we as the righteous people, the children of God, have come to
-
this meeting place. We have refused to forsake the assembling of ourselves together.
-
We're anticipating his revival. We're anticipating his arrival. We have promised a revival
-
in the end of time, and we are also promised his arrival, and
-
that is the reason for our gathering. These people were commanded together around Mount
-
Sinai. God met with them there. Any time God promises to meet you
-
somewhere, he will meet you right there. If it's in a den of
-
lions or a burning turness, God will meet you there. And I'm thankful
-
tonight that we're not out in this world, which could be a den of
-
lions. At this moment, and I'm thankful that we are in a burning
-
furnace where the spirit of God is burning within the bosom of those that have
-
gathered together. I know that many did not feel the need together together to
-
not in the house of the Lord, but every child of God ought to
-
feel the need together together. The same way, all the members of the
-
twelve tribes of Israel were commanded together around SINAI. We are no exception.
-
We are together in his house. The son said, I was glad when
-
they said into me, let us go into the house of the Lord.
-
You see, it was there right there when God chose to enter into a
-
covenant with him. How do you know that this very night is not the
-
knight when you will enter a covenant between you and God. These Israel,
-
as a nation, twelve tribes of people, thousands upon thousands of human beings
-
had gathered together, and the Lord had entered a convenant with them. At
-
that moment. The Lord did not hesitate for a second to assume the role
-
and responsibility of being their God. He would have no problem holding up to
-
his end of the deal. They would choose not to uphold their end of
-
this deal. Their punishment would be this, they would not be permitted to
-
enter into the promised Lamb in the immediate future. Even though the majority of
-
these children of Israel did not follow through on their promises to God, unknowingly,
-
they knew firsthand from their numerous experiences that God was able to take care
-
of their physical and spiritual needs. Having interview in this building, to not
-
fear like God is able to meet your need. God is able to reach
-
you and your need. There is nothing whatsoever out of the reach of God.
-
On this poolk at tonight, I've got a measuring tank by the brand
-
named Milwaukee that belongs to brother Nathaniel Howell. On this measuring tank that I
-
believe I bought for this brother are his initials three letters in lh abbreviating Nathanna
-
Leave Howell. We have pulled this tape measure out to twenty five inches.
-
If you'll notice with me the lead to my arm, you will see that
-
my arm is twenty five inches long. That happens to be the average lead
-
of most males of their arm. And I want you to know here to
-
night that God's arm is not twenty five inches long. I remember being a
-
young boy. I remember being a lad and even an infant and a top
-
ri. And there were many times during those times of my life that things
-
were out of my reach. I was saying able to get a hold of
-
things that I wanted to get a hold out the family cookie jar was out
-
of my reach on purpose because Mother knew if I ain't too many sweep cookies
-
that I would have a problem with my health. There's certain things in certain
-
stars that have cut out of the reach of her little hands and little arms
-
because the store older does not want it certain little people to be able to
-
reach it or they get their hands hold it. I want you to know
-
that God knew whenever he called his people out of Egypt, took what they
-
would have need of on their journey. He need to just call a handful.
-
He camped thousands upon thousands, and he knew that he was able to
-
supply their needs. In fact, the Bible teaches us that they had no
-
clothe in needs because not one thread when with her over around. They had
-
no needs to have shoes and upon their feet because the rever on somebody's sandal
-
would never wear around. God was the permissioner, and God was that protector
-
and wants you to know if you're a child of God, He's reliable in
-
the positions and the rolls of protector her and provided her. I feel like
-
a somebody in this feld and you do not have a proper understanding God through
-
he is. Do you realize who the creator of the world is? Do
-
you realize who's got the university in the powerment of us hell? Who's moving
-
the university from the Citic position? There's no God that thees is Reliza.
-
After that, been to the rech sea on Trigram, after that, seek
-
God's supply need after need that he was able to reach her. They knew
-
they were serving the right God from their numerous expirens. And they knew that
-
God was able to take care of the physical the spiritual needs. The promised
-
he would do so that he did so he upheld. He's in mena deal.
-
Hey, how about you when the trials they're testing, the tributations and
-
turblesses, they are you going to hold up or you're gonna deal? How
-
many of you understand the notts of God saved. He made a confidant with
-
you. He made a deal that was irresistible. The turns and the conditions
-
were there. In fact, it was unfair on his part because we could
-
not do nothing for he who can do everything. God tell me, is
-
there anything too hard for God? The rich man, seemingly in an impossible
-
situation to maintain his salvation. Jesus lett me, non, rich man,
-
I am able to help you. The young person is overtaken by the cares
-
of this life. Jesus has let him know. I can help you.
-
With the weight of this world is upon your shoulders. Jesus had promised these
-
people and my son that he would help them. The creator of the universal
-
has no problem at all needing the physical needs of every one of his creatures.
-
If it's a human being, a remember of the animal kingdom, and
-
a fist in the sea, he has no problem at all he needing the
-
needs of every one of them. There's not one cricket and one blue well,
-
or one baby boy or one grandmother. This outtack of eyesight, man
-
complide, there's no one out of this reason. There's nobody that's kind of
-
need that he does not left to me. I come to note to test
-
somebody he hears you can understands he knows what I need of He knew before
-
you ask for what you're needed. It's still okay to ask, even though
-
he knows how many present tonight are thankful for his protection and his provision.
-
Brother Jesse, get your brother's take measure and pull it out to twenty five
-
inches. I want you to pull measurement own, brother Richard Jacob's arm.
-
Go from the top of the shoulder out to his fingertips and kind of tell
-
me what you're measuring. It doesn't have that doesn't have to be perpect.
-
Tell me what you're measured twenty seven and a half inches. Go over there,
-
measure brother Ethan road caps are. Then tell me what's your measuring?
-
What is the distance my brother Ethan road caps are from the top of the
-
shoulder to the fingertip twenty five Go over there to better Micah and measure the
-
distance of betther micas are arm and tell me what's your getting, Brother Jesse.
-
You remember the Bible they said that those men would sometimes besser things with
-
a cubit. A cubit which was from the end of the middle finger to
-
the elbow, which is a distance of eighteen inches. How long was for
-
the maca's arm sixteen inches having emb you have noticed her. Then when a
-
baby is born, their arms are so short they do not even extend down
-
to their waist. But a step bell against the developer, his arms begin
-
to get longer because he's gonna have to have her a longer rich or come
-
on now, hurry and get me a suck out Heaven their father, but
-
he's stopped the longest to richa, God's riche. It's not twenty five inches,
-
so God's richa. It's not sixteen inches, it's not the average riza
-
a twenty five How watching to know? God can reach you, He can
-
reach your more need sight. You might be secret, but to reach her
-
chees sir, I tell us somebody that we go seek her dead? Were
-
still we then to reach her? God sister daughter was testifying and not so
-
well about how God brought her from the bottom. And as she was testifying,
-
I couldn't help but think, and God brought some of us from below
-
the bottom. You know who's living below the bottom. That child that was
-
raised in a good family, That child that was raised in a God fearing
-
home, That child that did so much for God and then turned and walked
-
away from God. That child had God been so much for her, and
-
yet they turned and walked away from God. That's somebody living, beloved.
-
That person is taped to you. They square heat of their body. That's
-
somebody in living. But no, the bottom where the trump out of tears,
-
that's somebody in living. But lo the bodle where that person of ill
-
reputation he is. I'm so taithful that God can reach you. The loan
-
the bottom, I tell us somebody, Toby, mother, God can reach
-
you. Hey, come on now we can ride. But t no,
-
he will still be able to reach you. Lo are his people and the
-
sheep of his pastor. He's able to take care of us because he's our
-
protected and he's our provider. If you look at our gold and text again
-
number chapter number eleven or twenty three, you will see in the lord set
-
of the Moses is the Lord's hen white shirt. He didn't save my head.
-
He's trying to make Moses understand I am your Lord, and don't forget
-
that boy. It'd be like a daddy telling a son. Is Daddy's hand
-
short? Is his arm? Short? Is his hand? Tiny? Is
-
the Lord's hand? Right short? And now you shall see right now whether
-
my world shall come to pass her unto thee or not. When I was
-
reading through this eleven chapter of the Book of Numbers to get the context him,
-
I found the reason for the Lord making this statement to Moses. He
-
was telling Moses, I speak through you. You are the oracle and the
-
mouth peace of God. And Moses, I have heard people complaining. That's
-
what I was saying. Where a road captain, not knowing what I was
-
gonna preach on them to night. God was upset because people were complaining about
-
that bread. It be a rod. Gop was saying. They were complaining
-
about and they were asking for me, and they were wondering, why are
-
we going without? Why do we have her this need? And come on,
-
why would God have to speak to God's man and tell God's man to
-
tell God's people that I'm cocked there, sir, that I'm taught you that
-
I know what you need before you even have. You know, before you
-
got that blessing that you got tonight, God knew you needed that. You
-
know, before you got that beautiful family that you got tonight, God knew
-
what you needed. Sister Hall told me something years ago that I have never
-
forgot. She said, if something ever happens to me, she said,
-
don't ever forget that you were what I needed. She said, at a
-
critical time in her life. I appeared seemingly from out of nowhere, she
-
said, singing like an angel from heaven. What are you doing here?
-
Why did you show up at this high school at this time, just when
-
I was at my WIT's end, Just when I wondered was come hearing me?
-
All the knots a praid on the nuts when I read my Bible,
-
and nobody else at the public house there seen and arrested and buy an emotion
-
the Bible study, and everybody else was throwing up here in the away.
-
I was refusing to turn n away. I was refusing to drink alcohol.
-
I was refused betrayal her. In the tower they give out the Troy because
-
her seeing me, I could not beat them, but did for that of
-
no less seeming you appear that you know what I needed. I telling somebody
-
in this theater of the night, Doc knows watching me. We all be
-
committed to the covenant. We all be faithful to the covenant. Tell you
-
made of best council sid that knight, when you and destinate need, then
-
you said, God, be my God, then I'll be more pleasing.
-
Do you realize what a benefit it is to us to be called the sons
-
of God, to be the chunn of God, to all equal shares of
-
heaven with Jesus, for Jesus to give himself the title of a man.
-
You will God with us, our big brother old wings with us, Thomas,
-
and to never leave us promising and never let us out from under his
-
arm. And Thomas will go with us every stepping away from every Situasai.
-
He stop telling God watching me, and to do it without and go ahead
-
and thank God for what He's already done and what he's doing right now.
-
Loo. Why would God have to speak through the mouth is of God moss
-
under the people? Why would the Lord need to make such a bold statement
-
as this to anyone? Why would a preacher ever have to take a test
-
and tell somebody is there anything too hard for God? You saw the latter
-
part of urse number twenty three, didn't it? He said, thou shalt
-
see now whether my word shall come to pass her unto thee or not.
-
It sounds similar to what's to find they're concerning tithing, He said, prove
-
me now here liveing the pie will not open the windows of heaven and pour
-
out a blessing upon me, one of so great I'm paraphrasing right there,
-
because who said they were their God? That's why they can have competent and
-
trust in their provider, in their protector, because God, Jehovah, God,
-
their provider, said, will do it? Now? What is all
-
this fussing about? I said, what is all this fussing and talking about?
-
Come on now head? If God prods that do right, you're gonna
-
get it. They were displeased with their diet. Well, that's what happens.
-
When you're wondering in the wilderness. You will start to wonder. You
-
will wonder what happened? Where am I at? What's going on? Has
-
God forsaken me again? They were displeased with their diet. Read between the
-
lives. Why are people getting miserable because of it? To a pressure?
-
Maybe? Why are people feeling uncertainly about their situation because they should be moving
-
over in a different direction. You know what, they're eating things that they
-
don't like her. Do you know why they're eating things that they do not
-
like her? It's because they're disobedience their disobedience, asserted their disappointment. Sir,
-
if you're disappointed right now about your situation, it's because of your disobedience.
-
And God told you that calling this direct and it will be okay.
-
Oh yes, sir, you will be disappointed when you're disobedient. But I
-
don't like this doet of manner. I'm disappointed with it. If the Israelites
-
had not a disobeyed God's commandments, and if they had a trust in His
-
directors and his Gouda's, the journey from Egypt to the parts land should have
-
taken a much shorter time weeks instead of forty years. Now. I've mentioned
-
that several times over the last few weeks. It was supposed to be attorney
-
that lasted maybe four weeks plus or minus. Some scholars have said that it
-
just got on with it. They would have made it in days, and
-
they could have made it in days, but God sent them along the route
-
because he was concerned that they were not ready to fight the battles. The
-
Bible said that enemies would have overtaken them, But even though they took the
-
round God chose for them, it still would have been about a four week
-
attorney rather than a forty year attorney. No, just tells me you could
-
be right. There come a sensuay but not developing the spiritual and a jurney
-
and the lack of spirits of development are not believeless. Today is a polo.
-
They are in the pressions of God. They professed to be in a
-
comment the relationship with God thesile in the midst of the movers of God the
-
stealer and a spiritual payment hadn't completed up about the bird? They why why?
-
For the year they were thinking about Egypt. They were thinking about Egyptian
-
entrees that they seldom partook of, when they should have been thanking God for
-
what he had provided. They were thinking about Egyptian entrees, those melons,
-
the onions, and the garlics that they saw the Egyptians eaten. They were
-
thinking on the things of their past, rather than thinking God for the things
-
of their present. They should have been thinking about lie ahead of them.
-
They should have been thanking God for what lies ahead of them, and they
-
should have been thinking about what lie ahead. If you properly think about our
-
promised land home, this celestial city Heaven, you do I have no problem
-
whatsoever thinking about Asia behind you that used to be a home, but that's
-
no longer from home. I thank God for where I'm in the parers.
-
I thank God for our church family. They'll cut the hole in the church
-
up up the bell. They also thank God. And I've been thinking all
-
her the future. I've been thinking now for that heavenly home. After the
-
Lord spoke to Moses from out of the midst of the burning bush, he
-
called Moses by name. He told Moses to put off your shoes from your
-
feet, boy a paraphrase, because at that moment farm ground had become holy
-
ground. At that moment, farm land had become a holy land. The
-
Lord did not hesitate to identify himself as to God with Abraham Isaac from Jacob
-
the lad to Roses that he had witnessed the appreach of the Hebrews, not
-
how good they had a to tomorrow. You get what I'm saying here.
-
They're worried about the chips in our trains, meeting them by knowlans, leeks,
-
onions, cornage. And God said, I didn't see where you had
-
it you had that. I don't see where you were eating up and were
-
lost there. I see where we were eating. The Lord would state castle,
-
I didn't see where you were pressed by that prince's preacher. I don't
-
see where pod was open out, and who must have had another I saw
-
you in your cant I saw you when you and your family was sun that
-
That's what God said, Moses. I see, it's not like your renimberhood.
-
That's what really was. It's not what you think to remember now why
-
you thank you. That's how it really was. That's why God raised the
-
deliverer named Moses. Could God raised a man up to deliver a family,
-
a nation, a church. Absolutely The Lord Tomoses that he had been an
-
eye an ear witness to the affliction of the Hebrews, not how good they
-
had it, not how great did they enjoyed it. The food there was
-
not pleasant. They didn't enjoy one mouthful of it. They wouldn't have had
-
enjoyed it even at that moment if they could have had it, because the
-
Egyptian taskmasters would have been on their backs, making long and deep the furrows.
-
God to Moses, for I know their sorrow For I know their sorrows.
-
A direct quote of what God told Moses. For I know their sorrows,
-
I know why they know that Egypt. Whenever that represents her it,
-
it's a denomination. It puts an organization. Now, if it's a certain
-
church, if it's a certain good, if it's a certain talk, it's
-
an honors community, it's a Hindi community, for I know their sorrows.
-
Have you forgotten your sorrows? Have you forgot the motivation? Have you forgot
-
the force of comidantial person that forced you to attend across a urgency? The
-
Lord told Moses that the land before you is good land at large, and
-
it flowing with milk and honey. And I was praying in my office today,
-
brother thea than Law, and I said, God, I love the
-
thought of that. And I've always thought of it. That's milk coming out
-
of a coke and out or something. But God brought it to my mind.
-
Where there is a lot of milk, there is plenty of meat,
-
there's plenty of cattle, there's plenty of goats, there's plenty of sheep.
-
And you want what you knew when you got such animals with large lamb.
-
That's what God said. It's a lady the poet with milk and honey.
-
There's a large lamb, meaning there's space. There's spacio son for your cattle.
-
There's spacial soap from a sheep. There's spacial soap for your coats.
-
That's gonna be cleaning rough. Why the word what are you thinking of?
-
Hit? What's the height? Said mother? God is just saying the lamb,
-
what's space? That's a oh yeah. If there's a land of plenty
-
of milk, there's a land of plenty of meat, their cattle and their
-
DUTs and the sheep and abundance. Sister, how when God said eighteen years
-
ago go to La Bel Florida. I know you only see four people there,
-
but it is a land of plenty. That's the very thing God spoke
-
to me was get up from among that old people, from that old country,
-
and go to a land that I shall show you. He didn't give
-
me a root print, he didn't give me a road matter. He just
-
gave me a name. Then he wants my mail, Then can I kill
-
you? It's this threeceless son for the howl will truck they'll be straight slessn
-
for gonna say up there that time we come from the land was too small.
-
Every time we thought it was posing out talking and say no, God
-
open God. God opens up hows an opportunity. God opens up jobs,
-
God opens up out. God opens it up. Why are you thinking about
-
what's back there? Nother than thanking God for what's my hand and praising from
-
what's up ahead. God's players for you are wonderful. He's able, He's
-
able to reach you in your needs. God's hand has not waxed short.
-
It's a beautiful, spacious land here. There are plenty of benefits there.
-
Once you get there, you'll find out. The Only thing is you need
-
to start stop murmuring and complaining and grumbling and grapping Ash Janus and Jammers and
-
their family and Cora, Barm and Nathan ask them the ones that grumble and
-
complain and grapping my moore like there are the ones that don't make it,
-
as does anybody in this house here. Then you just need to stop complaining
-
and get to where you're going as soon as possible. Because the marment you
-
rest in God, the moment you trust God, the moment you want great
-
God, he will open up for you. It's a beautiful, spaceless land.
-
There's plenty benefits here. In fact, this land is your land.
-
This land is by land right. It was made for you and me.
-
This land that you will possess is so great that the Canaanites are just gonna
-
want to hand it over without a fight. In fact, you're gonna have
-
to capass the city walls because they're gonna secure every nook and cranny. They're
-
gonna secure the walls with archers. They're gonna secure the building. Their brothers
-
says, they're gonna secure the gates. Are you fights that you've got here?
-
Oh? Yes, you have, ever sit you got entertaining. You
-
better keep boxing, You better keep worshiping God. You better keep shuttling the
-
practiser, because one of these things, the walls and the obstacles and the
-
hegrets and say I'm gonna be a rain flyer and goes, I'll find down
-
just Gospra says something. He is. God knows what's in need. I
-
said, God, mean, what's an eating? Before you realized the canaan
-
iesed that just opened the door, didn't they and say, oh, what
-
is ours as yours? Come take it? No, they fall for it,
-
they've defended it. Yeah, you're gonna have to fight for it.
-
God's not gonna just hand it to you. You're supposed to learn how to
-
play something. You better practice. You're supposed to possess the city. You
-
better keep going out there and fire forest and praying. Hey, come on,
-
I said at the beginning of this message, God was gonna hold up
-
his end of the deal. The question is you gonna hold up your end
-
of the deal. Are you gonna get tired? That's what happened around foolish
-
virgins. Jesus was coming, and then it got to where the bridegroup was
-
within their reach, and there came out of call. The bridegroom was here
-
and there sound asleep, and only a few were properly prepared. And on
-
repet went in with the bridegroom. How about it to Nove, just because
-
you're holding into your hair a promise, son, that's not me. You're
-
gonna see it for me? A what? And you to play back?
-
And there as a stables room, you're not not see it. You all
-
remember that promischieous woman that died on the threshold of health. It took took
-
the mon that just came to me. As I'm preaching, she had went
-
out played it her way, she had went out done her way, and
-
then when she got home, the door was locked, it was shut,
-
it was steadfast. Come on, brother Joshua. And she had played around
-
and tore it around with seeing and then she fell there at the door,
-
and she died at the threshold. The next morning her husband opened the door,
-
and what did he find? Somebody that was with him his reach.
-
Hey, the Holyness just promise example to me, if she'd had just been
-
able to knock him a little better, and if she'd have believed in the
-
promise and had never walked out of that house, either way she would have
-
been or not with her protect her. She lit up here with a provided
-
Oh my God, I'll tell her somebody. God has blessed you. God
-
has promised you the lossing me. But you could die not the threshold.
-
If God will say it was not that I could not reach you. I
-
wonder if what he's casting the goats out of his presence? What is sorting
-
flock? And he's putting the sheep over here and the goats over here.
-
I wanted the sheep and get a pat on the back. Well done,
-
thou good and faithful servant. Well done, thou good and faithful servant.
-
But I wonder that the goat come up short, do part from me the
-
worker working. Yeah, this is not a message that I conjured up.
-
This is a message that comes straight out the boards the glory. God has
-
spoke to my heart and showed me that if you don't possess your promise with
-
thanksgivin, you will have the pas Because you can't possess it for yourself.
-
He was handed to you. You ever had it a kid something and they
-
snatched it out of your hand? And you know, once you think that
-
moment, I wish you hadn't even offered anything. The thing is, there
-
ain't nobody gonna snatch nothing out of God's hand. I got some grandkids just
-
about as quick as I am. The Howard kids know I'm not boasting them,
-
but I've got fired or a pile of reflexes. And at this age,
-
at fifty, right at fifty, we could be in the sun as
-
barbecue restaurant or just about anywhere and something can fall off the table and before
-
you can blink and eye, I've done reached under the table and call it.
-
It was that that was with me recently. Brother Justice said I saw
-
and he said, I can't believe it. Before the brain could even process.
-
I'd called it just like that, and even hardly wrock my body a
-
bit, just went to it. And God is a lot quicker than you
-
are, and God's a lot faster than you are. I think you're gonna
-
come in at the last minute. That's what them five fool's urgens talk.
-
Well, now the situation has changed. Now the situation is conducing for me
-
to sneak in and trick my way in and manipulate my way in and say,
-
well, is it in time? Now? Is it in time?
-
Is it everything all right now? And in time? Now to get in
-
and it's time to get my blessing the time? Oh, come on,
-
now, be not deceived. God is not marked whatsoever a man. So
-
if that's shall he also rid? Should I keep preaching us shop we go
-
to the house. There's a lot of people that are within driving distance and
-
walking distance and moving distance of being in the center of God's we are,
-
But they refused to do it. And I want you to know God's hands
-
tell her God was trying to reach to them. God knew what they had
-
knew of, but they would not uphold their end the hod the deal.
-
It's not that God's hand has waxed short this way, and that they were
-
going to possess was so great that the Canaanites are going to fight for it.
-
Will the devil's fighting me tooth and k them? What did you expect?
-
Did you expect anything less than the devil to be the devil? You
-
see? The Lord was angry with these people who called themselves the children of
-
God if you would church attending people, faithful people that met him at Sinai
-
and met him and their covenant. The Lord was angry with him because they
-
were complaining to Moses. They were showing themselves unhappy, they were showing themselves
-
disappointed. He gave them meat for a month long period. Meet meet meet,
-
preaching, preaching, preaching, Shermanman, Sherman, there's permanential pressure,
-
you know, God with you, what a god boost you ought to nerve.
-
And they get so much teaching, and they get so much teaching,
-
so much impodesy so much. It's such short. So he right until I
-
get sick of it, be gus, I don't want to hear my boy,
-
I'm not gonna go like God tell me to go, and somehow no,
-
because Moses has fault that they're misery all right. God gave them so
-
much meat, six hundred thousand warriors, and the rest of the Israelites would
-
be fed. God's hand has a white short That's what the Lord told Moses.
-
But Jeremiah is the Lord's hand, white short. His hand will never
-
lose its power. Has blood bump born to give chilling to God. We
-
love to sing that song concerning the blood. It will never lose his power.
-
Neither will the hand of God. Philippis fort nineteen sept. But my
-
God shall supply oh your need. According to Him riches in glory by Christ
-
Jesus, not by your ability, not by your complaining, not by your
-
murmuring, not by you thinking about your past, but by Christ Jesus.
-
Our hand may be short and powerless, the sixteen inch long arm of brother
-
Micah might be limited and powerless to a certain degree. But God is all
-
powerful. We depend on Him for our existence and our sustenance. It's in
-
him we have existence. It's in him we live and move and have our
-
being. If you're in a spiritual famine, that you're all fault. According
-
to the silence, we're to be as well fed. Calves of the star.
-
God stays in the position of a generous giver. It's why God loves
-
a cheerful giver, because God is benevolent. He is a generous and cheerful
-
giver. He took care of the Israelites into wilderness. He took care of
-
the believers at Philippi, and he will take care of you. When Apostle
-
paulpend those words in Philippians four nineteen, but my God shallt apply all your
-
need, he was letting them know He's not only my God to supply my
-
need all these years in my ministry, but he's also your God, and
-
he will supply every need that you have. There's somebody in this building you're
-
offending God. There's somebody listening to this mess that you're offending God. God
-
gets you right to the point where he can use you, right to the
-
point where he can usher you, not push you into the promised Lamb.
-
God's not going to shove anybody into the blessing. God wants to usher you
-
into the Promised Lamb, and God can take care of you. This is
-
applicable to every child of God, including every believer, that is, except
-
that Jesus Christ as their Lord. In our golden text. The Lord told
-
Moses this, thou shalt see now whether my word will come to pass unto
-
thee or not. They needed to believe in Philippi. They needed to believe
-
when they were in the wilderness. You need to believe right now, and
-
God is going to supply all your need, whether that be a home,
-
whether that be a job, provisions, sustenance, whatever, that God's hand
-
is not too short. Some of you pulled the tape measure back in and
-
just said, there's no way that God's again could extend to me. God
-
had rained down the man out of heaven. He had parted the Red Sea
-
through rock. Was an abundant supply of water. What a source, What
-
a resource. Everywhere they went, this rock was present, and there was
-
plenty of water. And He poured down this meat upon them sermon after servant,
-
annoyed message after annoyed message, soul after soul. He supplied their needs
-
physically, he supplied their needs spiritually. He gave them an oracle, He
-
gave them a Moses, He gave them a deliverer, he gave them a
-
shepherd. How many of you know God gives his people those who really are
-
his people a shepherd. God gives his church apostles. I'm paraphrase preachers,
-
pastors, teachers, you say, I don't have any of that. You're
-
not where they're at, because God's people has them. And Amos Chatter number
-
eight and verse number eleven and twelve are co text tonight. One of them
-
said, behold the day's come. Saith the Lord God, that I will
-
send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor thirst
-
for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord. And they shall
-
wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east.
-
They shall run to and fro seeking the word of the Lord, and shall
-
not find it. Brotheristereic would say, in these United States of America,
-
that won't come true, because he moved from Indiana to come where he felt
-
like he was hearing from God. Not that he wasn't hearing from God there,
-
but to hear his testimony. He did file a place where he could
-
hear from God. When I read the book of Amos, I see a
-
parallel between the conditions of Israel then and the condition of our country today.
-
A famine. A famine caused Abraham to leave Canaan the first time he was
-
searching for food. A famine brought Jacob to Egypt. A famine has come
-
in this land for the word of God and the preaching of God. But
-
God's hand is not right sure for all of those people that want to hear
-
the truth. Sister Working all them years, Sister Heaven, all them years,
-
Sister Walker, all the years, Sister plant, all the years.
-
God, we need a preacher that will preach righteousness and uphold truth, and
-
I shall give them pastors. God will give pastors according to his heart.
-
Well, why would I feed somewhere or attempt a pastor somewhere where God has
-
not assigned somebody to labor. Of course, there's going to be a famine
-
where there's no real seed being planted. Of course, when that's gonna bar
-
near week coming up, there's gonna be a famine in Bethlehem. And so
-
what they want to saying, Brother Gabriel, here's what they say. They
-
say, can't nobody live it anymore? Nobody lives it anymore. I wish
-
I could find a church where they still preach it by innis to be preached.
-
I wish I could find a church where everybody lived in practice what they
-
preached. What they say is it's out of my reach. I can't find
-
it. But just because they can't reach it doesn't mean that they couldn't get
-
in the will of God, and God reach it to them. The Bible
-
said that Ruth received of the hand of Boaz forged corn. He reached that
-
blessing to her when he reached below the bottom for this born right here,
-
who had been raised in church. And I knew to do good, and
-
I did not do it. And I want you all to know something.
-
Even though they are ignorant people in this world, is brother. Just he
-
comes to the piano, their ignorance is no longer in an excuse. God
-
has given every human being of each and every generation, every human being of
-
past, present, future generations of conscience. He has given them a measure
-
of faith. They know when their heart of hearts, even the one that
-
proclaims to be an atheist, knows in their heart of hearts there is a
-
God, and they know they are not God. They know that this universe
-
is under the control of some master mind. And they figure out real quickly
-
when they can't preach the cookie, drawing that there are some situations out of
-
their control. There's nobody getting free ride to heaven. You can only come
-
through Jesus, only through the blood. And I feel like I'm preaching somebody
-
to I that feels like they're gonna be pushed or shoved into the promise like
-
you deserve it or something. Right, Listen, just because God met with
-
you in a sacred time of prayer, he met with you at Sinai,
-
you entered a covenant with him, and it seems so beautiful and so sweet.
-
Everybody said, that's a beautiful thing. That's a precious promise. In
-
recent weeks, I've reminded us only a couple of guys made it after forty
-
years of God thinning it out. Only two made it because other hundreds of
-
thousands was constantly thinking about what they used to have. But Caleb and Joshua,
-
they were thinking about what I'm gonna have. Let's stand tonight. I
-
have delivered my burden. I feel relieved, and I will feel much better
-
as somebody tonight puts this grumbling and complaining and gridful behind you once and for
-
all. If you're going through a famine spiritually, it's not because you're out
-
of the will of God. Right here, right now. It's because you're
-
refusing to accept the will of God. And you know what happens if you're
-
at a church where they're not preaching the truth and they're not upholding righteousness,
-
You're gonna go through a famine eventually. You've heard Sis the Woop talk about
-
it. She said, I almost died spiritually just before Brother haw I got
-
here. She told me not many months ago. She said, I don't
-
know if I'd have made it, if you had to came spiritually. And
-
there's going to be somebody that says, no, it's just a whoop.
-
She'd have made it, she'd have found her way. There's gonna be many
-
people that thought they did everything they need to do to make it. They're
-
gonna think they do the right God their provider to protector. I got coveted.
-
I had a promise. But you know what, when food fails,
-
life fails eventually. I need to say that again. You just missed that
-
point. When food fails, life fails eventually, Brother Roup says, and
-
often we're well fed. Here to day, God stops feeding the pastor and
-
the teachers, and the pastor and the teachers stop feeding you. We're in
-
trouble. A spiritual famine does not have to be Diana at the fingertips of
-
God, doesn't have to be God's able to reach you and reach your need.
-
This is my last illustration. As long as God is trying to reach
-
you and you're backing up after while, God's gonna stop backing up. God's
-
gonna stop preaching. They said, all day long, I've stretch up my
-
hand onto a gain, say empty, I just felt conviction to reach somebody
-
right there. It ain't to God didn't reach It's not that God can't reach
-
it. Upon that cross, all of humanity was served notice by the King
-
of Glory. You're within my reach. His left hand went out war Zoner,
-
and his right hand went out, poor Zoner, representing it in that
-
reach, an infinite reach circle the globe. But Sister Wood there with those
-
that literally looked and declared him to be the Promise. They declared him to
-
be the son of God. But they didn't pray through it, They didn't
-
repent. Executioners had his life blood on their hands, and that blood didn't
-
change or save them. Just because the children of Visual have been brought out
-
of Egypt and been placed in the wilderness and we're headed in the right direction.
-
Didn't mean they would possess their promise. And I come to tell somebody
-
tonight, as happy as you've been about the promise, you can lose it.
-
If you're murmured and complaining and grumbling and gripping. I'll go ahead and
-
tell you this. God showed me you're going to lose it. But it
-
didn't that God didn't reach one more time tonight and say, my hands not
-
short, my arms not short. God said, I prove to you,
-
even though you don't deserve all that meat, I'm gonna prove to you,
-
you're gonna have met upon mean, upon me, upon me. And that's
-
what God's been doing. He's gave your message upon message upon message upon message.
-
I want us to bow our heads tonight. A lot of times we
-
do in general or a call. Is there somebody that would move into this
-
altar and say, you know, I realize God has provided for me,
-
and I want to acknowledge that I realize God has given me a promise.
-
How about somebody else besides this young man? Is there somebody else? There's
-
another young man, another young man, a sister too. Moving forward,
-
I realize what God's trying to do for me, for my family, for
-
my children, for me. Tonight I feel like it's a personal thing.
-
I feel God is doing something for somebody, and I want to come forward
-
and say God, I'm coming tonight to thank you for the present and thank
-
you for what lies ahead. Forget about what's behind, reach forth unto the
-
things that are before. Let's have a time of prayer here tonight. God
-
will reach way down for you. God's arm isn't twenty five inches long.
-
God can reach you and He can meet your needs. Can God reach my
-
father Cole? He can prove it to you if you'll be thankful. Can
-
God reach them where they're at? He con prove it to you if you'll
-
be thankful. Oh, I feel the hole of Goos turn his eyes.
-
What will it take for God to get you to move into a position where
-
God could bless you. You keep cursing the diet, blaming it on the
-
dot, the diet, the diet. Mm hmmm, Jesus, h m
-
hmm. In the seven reach down for me? All he had to read
-
way now for me. I was bod standing of God without God his song
-
w he rereads, had his name for me. In the scene Styn he
-
had to die. I was lo stay undown we have God. His son
-
went the scene and say a black sort as that's the street from He was
-
as good my savement melty great and his fad the same for me. He
-
had to read pray for me, and I was lord in love without God.
-
His son lady read down, he said, m I was need to
-
to spare when he came to be there, and he showed me that I
-
couldn't be free. Then he lifted my feet gave me gladness complete when he
-
reads down his hand for me. When the same he had to read a
-
way for me, I was lost without God who let me read all his
-
hands. Oh oh, In the same hen he had to read to play,
-
I was low without God. In the same restand God
