  1. You're down right, then, amen, vision had not been to the Lord

  2. adventure. Praise the Lord. It's so good to be in the house of

  3. the Lord tonight. We do miss our sound man, our sound technician,

  4. Brother Jeneremiah, his bride, sister Leah, and their two precious children,

  5. sister Elena and brother Ezra. We're thankful that God has kept his hand upon

  6. their children. They went on vacation to escape something work. They went on

  7. vacation to get some R and R, and they worked, and they've got

  8. no rest and found no relaxation. But I know God is mindful of them.

  9. How many of you want to plan a vacation. I'm sure everybody in

  10. this building wants to plan a vacation, But you wouldn't plan spending three days

  11. and nights in the hospital region while on vacation, eleven hours away from home.

  12. That's not pleasant. That is unpleasant. Their adventure became a misadventure.

  13. I want to preach a message the Holy ghost title death by misadventure, Death

  14. by misadventure. Brother Nathaniel, will you turn with us to the Book of

  15. Matthew, chapter number fifteen and verse number fourteen. Brother Jesse, First Corinthians,

  16. Chapter number eleven and verse number one. Are you glad to be in

  17. the House of the Lord tonight? I appreciate you making it a priority to

  18. be here. There's no better place and no more important place to be than

  19. in the House of the Lord. I feel like I need to be here.

  20. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad I'm not in this place by myself

  21. tonight. I would be here if I had to be here by myself.

  22. But it's so much better having you all here. You all look great of

  23. telling you God's been good to us some of your agent since we've been here

  24. in sixteen years. You look a little bit different than you did sixteen years

  25. ago, And I look different from how I did sixteen years ago. Somebody

  26. handed me a picture recently of us having dinner on the church ground out there

  27. in the pole barn, and I thought, man, who is that guy?

  28. And I realized that was myself after I put my reading glasses on.

  29. It isn't that something all the changes that life brings our way, sometimes adventure

  30. turns into misadventure. Brother Nathaniel Matthew Champion number fifteen, Verse number fourteen.

  31. Let them alone, they be blind, leaders of the Blind and at the

  32. blind lead the blind both shall ful into the ditch. Somebody sought out for

  33. adventure, but they found the wrong leaders. They ended up in the ditch

  34. along with the blind leaders. They sought out an opportunity for adventure, and

  35. it became a misadventurer Brother Jesse one Corinthians, Chapter number eleven, verse number

  36. one, be followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

  37. How many of you know it's very important who you followed. I'm glad I'm

  38. not following the teachings of Buddha, Harry, Krishna, Mohammed, or any

  39. other leader within any other religion besides Christianity. I'm thankful that we are followingollowing

  40. the apostles who followed Christ, that we are modeling ourselves, of patterning ourselves

  41. after their example. We're imitating them. But more importantly, we are imitating

  42. Emmanuel. We're imitating Christ Jesus, We're following him. When we're following him,

  43. we won't have to worry about this splendid adventure becoming a misadventure. All

  44. right, let's stand for the reading of our text. Mark chapter number ten

  45. and verse number fifty two. The Bible says that Jesus said up to him,

  46. go thy way. Thy faith has made thee whole. And immediately he

  47. received his sight and followed Jesus in the way. Read that latter part with

  48. me, And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus in the way.

  49. If you're one to mark in your a will underline follow Jesus in the way.

  50. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we love it, We praise you.

  51. We thank you for the opportunity to be in your house. I thank you

  52. for this thy people gathering together in obedience to your word and your commands.

  53. I'm glad that they've made it a priority to be here. God, I

  54. pray that you would annoy this thy servant sent of God in my mouth,

  55. and help me to say the things that you would have me to say.

  56. Nothing more than this annoying this people. I pray anoint the ears that they

  57. might hear with the spirit of God is trying to say to son tonight and

  58. thought all help them God to receive these sayings. Let them not just get

  59. it in the head. Let us sink below the shoulders into the soul and

  60. the spirit. We pray God, may they not here only, but help

  61. them to heed. We pray that we would to part this place joyfully and

  62. not sorrowfully. In Jesus' name. In the church says amen, reading our

  63. text again, Mark ten fifty two. The Bible said, and Jesus said,

  64. unto him, go thy way. Thy faith has made thee whole.

  65. And immediately he received a siph and follow Jesus in the way. Our text

  66. has found in a New Testament book of the Holy Bible. The title of

  67. this book bears the name of its author. Most of the people who are

  68. in this building to not know some things about this author. He is Mark.

  69. Most people believe that this author to be John Mark. That name rings

  70. a bell. It should ring a bell in the minds and the hearts of

  71. believers that are gathered here tonight. In fact, it commands one's attention because

  72. John Mark's mother was very significant within the early Church. In fact, she

  73. owned a very important part of real estate. She owned a very important piece

  74. of real estate. She hosted the believers in that house that dwelled upon that

  75. piece of property. Mark's mother owned a home where the members, some of

  76. the members of the early Church met at times. And one of the times

  77. that they pursook not the gathering of themselves together was when they gathered together on

  78. the behalf of Peter. They were praying that Peter would be released from his

  79. imprisonment. How many if you know, sometimes you have to pray yourself out

  80. of prison. Jan Mark would have been a follower of Jesus and his teachings.

  81. He would have known Peter and would have followed him as well. The

  82. Bible readers among us to not know that he accompanied Paul and Barnabas on a

  83. missionary trip. He thought for sure that he had embarked on an adventure.

  84. He thought for sure that it would be the trip of a lifetime, only

  85. to find out that what was to be such a great adventure turned into a

  86. misadventure. In fact, he hairlifted the Apostle Paul at some point, and

  87. Apostle Paul was disappointed with his performance and sent him packing and sent him home,

  88. And so his adventure became a misadventure. He followed Paul and Barnabas.

  89. I believe, Brother Tyler, he was expecting wonderful things to take place in

  90. his life and in the lives of others. I feel like his motives were

  91. pure. I feel like his intentions were pure. You See, this man

  92. knew how to pick out good friends better than some in this building tonight.

  93. This man knew the importance of having good company. Somebody while they were testifying

  94. tonight spoke of the importance of having good friends and keeping good company. Apparently

  95. this man, John Mark knew who to follow and knew who not to follow.

  96. Again, apparently this man John Martin knew who to follow and who not

  97. to follow. There's some people that profess to be Christians, who claim to

  98. be believers, who do not even know who they should follow and who they

  99. should not follow. I'm appalled by the performance of some Christians today concerning their

  100. faith. They follow any and everything. When I hear of what they've been

  101. listening to, when I hear of who they've been following, I cannot believe

  102. my ears. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around the idea that

  103. these people do not understand that in their adventure of following such people, it

  104. will lead them into misfortune and misadventure. Look at your neighbor tonight and ask

  105. them this question. Say, hey, neighbor, who are you following?

  106. You see, Mark's adventure became Mark's miss adventure, and his Apostle to the

  107. Church and his epistle to the Church at Corinth. The Apostle Paul spoke to

  108. the Corinthian believers these words, and they are found in First Corinthians, chapter

  109. number eleven and verse number one, the apostle Paul writing, he said,

  110. be ye followers of me, even as I am of Christ. What Paul

  111. is telling these new believers to do is follow Christ. Ultimately. He is

  112. saying, see through me and hollow Christ. Without saying it. He is

  113. saying, if there ever comes a time when I'm no longer following Christ,

  114. cease following me. A lot of times Father Charter Plat would speak to preachers

  115. that would come through this area, and he would say these words. He

  116. said, as long as my post for the cheer me haw is following Christ,

  117. I will follow him. His children have told me, some of them,

  118. anyway, have told me that. He would often tell them, if

  119. you'll follow brother, cheer me here' He too, that you meet me over

  120. there that so lictial city. He would say things like that, telling them

  121. to pattern their life after me, as I've patterned my life after these Apostolic

  122. brethren, and after the ensamples and wrote models that we find in the Word

  123. of God, you see Faulks saying these things too, new believers because her

  124. In the Book of Galatian we find that he wrote to the Church of Glacial

  125. these words. He said, I no longer live of myself, but it's

  126. Christ Jesus who is living in me. Paul was not exactly saying, there

  127. put your feet where I put my feet there. What he was saying is

  128. it's not even me living there. It's Christ that's living in me. And

  129. what he's saying is, I'm not walking beside my lad. I'm walking inside

  130. of my lad, and my Lord is walking head inside of me. It's

  131. one thing to abide in the lad, and it's another thing there for him

  132. to abide that. Can you I feel like I'm preaching this somebody in this

  133. feeling tony that you have not taken it seriously. The person who tapped you

  134. on the shoulder that night that you prayed, you are not taking his words

  135. seriously, and you have not taken the miracle performed in your life the seriously.

  136. We find the blond matter MESI was no longer blind. The mind was

  137. set immediately after he cried out for healing them meaningly right in and there he

  138. received his side, his natural reaction, the supernatural reaction, the spiritual reaction.

  139. All of that was in harmony. It wasn't a chorder. The flesh

  140. was not battling the spirit ere or the spirit the flesh that day he had

  141. been a new creature in that moment. He did not just receive a healing

  142. of the body. No, he received a healing under me. I seen

  143. people come to church, and they received a touching of the Lord and prayed

  144. enough that to feel better. Aforehaps they shed some cracking down tears and got

  145. a little bit of something that offered their mind then and their chest. But

  146. when it come time and together again, and they did not follow the believers

  147. into the house of God. They had no appetite for the things of God,

  148. they had no desire to go to church. Then, I'm like blind

  149. Mother, Maia, the not that I got saved. You could not keep

  150. me out of church. You could not hold me back there to going the

  151. revival service. You couldnot keep me from doing an altar in the house of

  152. my God. That blond mother may immediately the minber said, he followed Jesus

  153. say, I'm talking to somebody there tonight under the sail there. And my

  154. boy said you're problem to me, and said you're looking at this and looking

  155. at them and callow and then king the following, No, that is not

  156. following him. I'm telling you, and God up he touches you, not

  157. apostle Paul that you don't have no problem, or change your course and change

  158. your pace on this race. Then you'll run the gold. I said,

  159. you're run the God. The truth is if you run for him there well

  160. your need, you will chase after him and after that deed has the supply.

  161. I want to preach tonight with the Lord being my helper. Paul,

  162. without hesitation, he said, ay, and when example that you can pattern

  163. yourself after, I am an example in my worship that you can pattern your

  164. worship style after. I am a model, a model for you to look

  165. at. Concerning loving Jesus and what happens to somebody once they have been converted.

  166. You should not have to beg that person to come to church. It

  167. took me about a decade to learn this, but I finally come to understand.

  168. If they have no desire to be here, they will not be here.

  169. But if they have a desire to be here, they will be here.

  170. And that's the way it was. For good Mother May. He had

  171. been in a precarious situation, and the Holy guess again to point this out

  172. to me as I prayed that I thought about that this locate. The Bible

  173. said he was on the road side. This means he was by the deck.

  174. Say, I don't know who would go into the roadside. I don't

  175. know who put him on the side of on the road. I don't know

  176. who put him. It's such a precurious place, Sir. I don't know

  177. where, but I know it was not somebody that was out there for the

  178. best time for bother me say, there was not somebody that was trying to

  179. bring him there, casing to Jesus. That's why here to cry out off

  180. to myself near the deck trap, I tell myself that truck with somebody up,

  181. get me out of this mess. Paul was telling these people follow my

  182. example, as I am a model of the Gospel, as I am a

  183. bottle of the spirit, build and the spirit that believer church. When that

  184. coworker sees you on the job, can't they see Jesus live on this side

  185. of you. Can they follow you as you follow Christ? If they want

  186. to follow you or Sunday, Yes, you would lead them to the house

  187. of God. If they were to follow you on Sunday evening, would it

  188. lead them to the house of God? What about the other days of the

  189. week. Where would you lead them? What if they watched your eyes?

  190. Where would your eyes take them? He the wondering eyes. Okay, side,

  191. I'm telling somebody in this building tonight, you have to pick up Pharaoh

  192. as your leader. But the children of God, they hadn't pick up knows

  193. this. So I think God's he said, sir, he is nine now

  194. and he is yours. They have to make the choice. Will we follow

  195. him out of Egypt? And how many people do you know? They choose

  196. her to sit in the debt. They choose her, just sit along the

  197. wrong side. But then we will not cross the sea. They will not

  198. cross her the city, and we will not cross her whatever obstacle it takes

  199. her and never to follow God. They to following God's ma'am. Now,

  200. I don't want to follow her hero, I want to follow b he says,

  201. sir. I want to follow Jesus. Sister, I had no idea

  202. what I would be prenching all the times death by mission adventure. If they

  203. followed you on Monday morning, where would you take them? If they followed

  204. you on Friday night, where would you take them. It's God's will that

  205. everyone be on a journey. It is a great adventure, and we have

  206. embarked on a beautiful journey as Christians in this thing called Christianity, and it

  207. is meeting us to a celestial city. Christians are on their way, and

  208. others should be able to follow you if they would like to get there too.

  209. That's five been careful regarding church attendance. That's why I've been careful now

  210. with what I said and what I've done with my manner of life by assents

  211. and behaviors, because I know my children are following me. Listen, myst

  212. ministry leaders. That's true. The truth can bring them home, children and

  213. church. It's true that you can plant the eating the hearty, and you

  214. can reap the little fruit. But ultimately they're gonna follow Obama and they're gonna

  215. follow Daddy. I'm telling you here tonight, in the natural and the spiritual,

  216. the good matters who your father is, The matters who your mother is.

  217. Miles where you're going to charms follow me as I follow Christ? Can

  218. they get there too? And following you? We're you're telling that dirty joke.

  219. Where do you take them? Do you take them to the arms of

  220. Jesus or do you take them to the arms of Lucifer and Matthew Chapter number

  221. fifteen and verse under fourteen we read left them alone? They be blind leaders

  222. of the blindness. Then if the blind lead the blindness, both chef Paul

  223. into the ditch Jesus worn followers of men of the dangers of following leaders of

  224. religion outside of a relationship with Jesus Christ. No, ma'am mar, no

  225. sir, I'm not gonna follow her any person, even if they're ordained minister

  226. call themselves every now call themself or Christ, and they call themselves to be

  227. the Pope themselfer. I'm not gonna follow her anybody that it's not nothing.

  228. Be get prison and my relationshiper who Jesus Listen, there's a lot of people

  229. saying, I give that false teacher the benefit of the doubt. I'm gonna

  230. pray for him. I'll give him for ten years to get himself, pray

  231. through and to turn around. I'll give that with six months to pray it

  232. through and hopefully they'll turning the man. Hopefully they're change your ways. Hopefully

  233. they'll change your liestyle, Hopefully they change your doctrine, Hopefully they change your

  234. topics, hopefully the change of pattern of Russia. That's what Jesus Son was

  235. warning these people off. He must say, listen print. I'm telling you,

  236. if the blinder to the blinder, they're both to the end up in

  237. the picture. I'm killing somebody to night. Now, I'm not saving because

  238. of religion. Now, I'm not saying her because I go to a certain

  239. church. I'm not saving her because my family they spent money now and built

  240. her the church on my time in heaven. Now, I'm not saving her

  241. because I belonged to a certain on the relation I've seen that, not because

  242. of religion, but because of a relationship where Jesus dies. It's like a

  243. preachers and pastors and teachers. It's like they want us to believe they saved

  244. us. If they saved us, they surely surely did not. But if

  245. they saved us, why are they having such a hard time keeping us?

  246. Paul said, follow me as I follow Christ. If Christ isn't in it,

  247. I'm not going to be part of it. If Shiloh is no more,

  248. I'm not gonna sit around and wait till Shallow comes again. I'd like

  249. to have braise them on the front of this poop pit. We're gonna keep

  250. on doing what we're doing until Shallow comes again and rains as king your kings

  251. and lord and lords. But ain't tell who comes. I'm gonna at your

  252. pilot and can they told me to do. I'm not gonna sit in the

  253. teacher because some blame leader has let me there. I'm the over I tell

  254. you by that dead cuts. Then I'm telling us somebody we'll stretch up.

  255. He said, that's BMD. I'm not because nobody Dan's part of bath.

  256. I know in that day and hour, they didn't have to worry about a

  257. BMW, a Mercedes, a Tesla vehicle, Afford vehicle, a Chevy,

  258. a GMC bawling them over, running them over. But they have to worry

  259. about a camel. I have to worry about a donkey, had to worry

  260. about a horse. Somebody Steve just barreling right over the top of them.

  261. Oh come on, I'm not gonna sit in the church that's on the wayside.

  262. I'm not gonna sit in a religion that's on the wayside. They're just

  263. trying to pick a little bit of seed here and there. I remember one

  264. great man of God. He deteriorated in a spiritual walk with the old and

  265. after Thomas, he observed the hypocrisy in the local church of Sydney, of

  266. which he was part of, allowing it to happen. He justified it with

  267. this, He said, well, it has its upset and it has its

  268. downs, just like the nation of Israel. They had no good keating at

  269. the bank keep Do you realize what you're saying served when you say things like

  270. this? He went on to say, we got to pick the chicken off

  271. the bone and watch out for the bones when we eat the pishe there know,

  272. Paul told me to watch out for more than balls. He told me

  273. to watch out for walsa. I don't have to sit in a service and

  274. pick and remove the balls in order to go hold up in a little sucker.

  275. I'll tell us somebody enough in this building. Let the building now deteriorate.

  276. Let the friend impastor heaven, good TV, do come on now what

  277. matters here? I want to be a patru the teatur holiness of Pentecostal people

  278. has the same problem Jesus disciples head, and Jesus took corrected at you.

  279. He said, see that temple like terry. That's the same myself. And

  280. we got Grandpa, you old church and got tiare be on. So it's

  281. no longer your house of heaven. It's no longer your house of hope.

  282. It's a house of hell. So Jesus was saying, you're looking after temple,

  283. you're looking after taber alcohol, but you're missing ship of love. You're

  284. missing nothing took all up your life. I'm not gonna go down with a

  285. ship. There is no bedroom by the badge of honor to be warned by

  286. any cant in this thing called salvation of going down with a ship. There's

  287. no honor in casualtists because somebody led somebody to the ditch. While we pray

  288. for our pastor, while we pray for our preacher, while we pray for

  289. our denomination, while we waited, have we forgot the words of Jesus?

  290. Have we forgot? If we gain the whole world and lose our own soul?

  291. Oh, come on, if we saved the church, the fact of

  292. Bill, if we saved of the denomination that John Wesley started. Do you

  293. think if John Wesley was alive today he would be trying to revamp the Methodist

  294. Church. Let us recently allow it and Tolerando approvaded her came ministers Ministery in

  295. the Wrestleyan Church of No the come on now, the founder of the Methodist

  296. Church of would not sit there trying to saber the trial the shepherd forlaws.

  297. If the bride read the bride, they shall both fall into the dead body.

  298. Is what happened? Preacher? Have you created such spiritual conditions that the

  299. people in your parish, your parishioners are painted for the word of God.

  300. Their heart is panting for living water, souls thirsting for the things of God,

  301. and so li ma, surly their life is fading, so rematuredly you've

  302. led them to the ditch. We all know what the ditch represents her,

  303. don't we? With the Bible said, if you see that ox in the

  304. ditch on the Sabbath day, you go ahead and get it out. And

  305. if somebody's sheep, I show up here because I'm hunger and your planta and

  306. broken, and they're beaten and they're battered, and they're breaths to I s

  307. write I'm not gonna play childhood games. I'm gonna mista her to that person.

  308. They don't let Mornch tell you her. I'm gonna get your her out

  309. of the ditcher, because nobody else do the Longster God but Walter the days

  310. ask bartimaus, I'm getting a life from the ditch. I'm getting away from

  311. this seeking no nomination. I'm getting away from this evil association. I'm separating

  312. talk this terminal affiliation. Do you think the method this would go John Whistle

  313. again, that's the prinsipter, the overseer over the Methodist Church. It was

  314. founded because of the methods of the Wesleyan Brothers, because of the Sacotite doctrine,

  315. the sycopied living that they promoted. But there's gonna be some They're gonna

  316. hold on. They're gonna hold on, and they're gonna let their blind leaders

  317. talk to them. They're gonna let them blind leaders sing to them. They're

  318. gonna let them grievous wolves teach to them and their little children. They're gonna

  319. die, They're gonna lose the members of the youth group. They're gonna lose

  320. over their babies all the time to sing the church has got Grandma Trump post

  321. name on the marque, hold on the plaque in the stucco of the girl.

  322. All right, now, let Jesus take them by the tea to point

  323. over there, says see that, see that this shall not be one stolen

  324. left the pod of nothing. Then, I'm telling you, when the devil

  325. comes here with a hitchman named Titus that even gets to destroy the temple in

  326. Jerusalem, there's nothing upon leaders to do about that. Harpas is son of

  327. the hole, his picture, this payment, his purtures, pays hip.

  328. But Titus, get that book, bill, the sword. Your membership will

  329. be depleted until the pastor says, I've dug here. It's the will of

  330. God. No, you're done here because we're starving to prayer, preacher,

  331. because they wised up to your things and wives, up to your auntives and

  332. your tactics. If Christ isn't in it, I'm not going to be part

  333. of it. If I can't feel the presence of God and I have to

  334. resort to hype, I'm gone. It seems to me that people, for

  335. a beginning to realize they have lost their way and they're doing what they can

  336. to find their way back. I'm telling you, members of this church have

  337. told me that family members and friends from yesteryear are asking them how they're doing,

  338. and they're saying, as far as we know, we're doing great.

  339. God's still moving and God's still blessing. And they're saying, well, we

  340. remember services like that, but it's been a decade since we have been in

  341. a service like that. It's easy for the blind leader to get up there

  342. and tell everybody, this is what's happening. This is the great calling away,

  343. this is the act bath of consequences have come on Jesus. They're still

  344. saying, and they're still building a church. The church is depleted because of

  345. flying leaders or administrative positions. That's the scheme the sinisters cheen of the wolf

  346. is to come in in sheep's clothing, to appear pentecostal, to have a

  347. form of godliness, to appear holiness, to say all the right words to

  348. shout to grandma and the grandpa. Every now and then, just when they

  349. started to wise up, they'll say just enough to make grandma and Grandpa think

  350. they are sactified, and they're separated. But the younger generation knows they're insincere.

  351. And the younger generation knows. Let us see it behind Grandma and Grandpa's

  352. back. Come now, I feel the preacher here to not. Who are

  353. you following? Who are your children? Fatherly? As you follow them?

  354. Come on now, I'm telling us somebody. Their intentions was not of an

  355. adventure. He plotted to see means of God. He expected to see healings.

  356. We expected heaven to see your children feel with the holy girls heaven.

  357. But you won't incarment to be come over but mist but a missing pitcher death

  358. by missing pitcher. May I say to someone it is dangerous to follow someone

  359. who does not know where they are going. But they are not tarrying in

  360. their prayer closet. They have no idea this day and arra, which we

  361. live in, where they're going. Following a blind leader will cause an unfortunate

  362. incident. It will lead to a mishapp Oh no, little Susie got pregnant

  363. out of wetlock. Oh no, the deacon's son has been running around and

  364. commit fornication. This ain't nothing new, you know. Some of the Old

  365. Testament prophets they turned their head to those things. Now the end result was

  366. not good, and was it not? It was a cursing. Even the

  367. Apostle Paul, he spoke concerning the New Testament believers of a certain situation that

  368. was going on, and he said, you're glory in your mercy and your

  369. forgiveness in this situation is not good. A dear preacher friend of mine overseas,

  370. he told me a couple of days ago, he said, I had

  371. to deal with a certain situation in the church. He said, the moment

  372. I dealt with that, he said, God, begin to bless again.

  373. Listen, We're on an adventure, and I don't want it to become a

  374. misadventure. Gordon Maus was in peril, and he was in risk as long

  375. as he was on the wayside of as long as he was allowing the roadside

  376. of how many professing Christians are do you know believe they're on a path that

  377. reads a the spiritual program, development and maturity that we reveieve when they're going

  378. to church on Sunday morning, a Sunday night and mid Week's service, that

  379. they're gonna learn something, that they're gonna receive a word of faith in a

  380. counchman most people that I know her believe this to be true. Right.

  381. I hope some of them are not sampy mistaken. I've had an animal a

  382. police of course, with misadventure. I'm not a saying in a night.

  383. But if you are following a blind leader, then you are on a Policeian

  384. passer with disaster and miss are part of mass definitely didn't set out to allow

  385. things to happen to him innocently. He was on the roadside. Christianity can

  386. be quantity adventure. Brother, Yes, here, as a pastor's son,

  387. you can say it can be quantity adventure. But if we are not careful,

  388. we will experience numerous misadventures. We are at risk of jeopardy and peril.

  389. Listen, if we are following someone who is religious and they are providing

  390. a religious service to us, yet it's turning out badly, we should be

  391. embarrassed and move on. Should I repeat that that's what God gave me in

  392. my prayer closet. If we are following someone who is religious and they are

  393. providing a religious service in a house of worship, yeah, it's turning out

  394. badly. This sin is coming up, this sin is correcting. Let's been

  395. manifested, and we should be embarrassed and simply move on. Pardon Mays.

  396. Once he realized that where he was, he moved on. I remember the

  397. time God told me to move on through lots, stumbling into the ditch,

  398. through lots, falling wealth into a pit of mid A blind leader, a

  399. blind man is leading somewhere headlong into the buck and the mire. Ho come

  400. on, health. He can't get you an out, pack, He will

  401. not get you an out. He's not praying heath. He's praying. He's

  402. not preaching heath. He's teaching something that he got on a poker or off

  403. ut to beat that pul You and your babies something, tell of them mine

  404. out. And he can't even pull up and get something we can't tell apply,

  405. then that's no way. When lit with what he ain't seen the new

  406. lettion from God up, he don't go where he's going. I'm telling somebody

  407. to I that. When I sense somebody's must away and they're sending him my

  408. leader up, I say goodbye, Leader. I'm getting away from the decks.

  409. Who I God, I had a holy God phil church. I'm gonna

  410. turn to preach somebody a little bit nervous, can't stand up, can't raise

  411. your hand, can't sup Lord and God. Some of you are, and

  412. there's two or three of you a little bit nervous, and there might be

  413. a message here. It's gonna go forth and go out. I'm telling you.

  414. I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt, and I believe

  415. in giving them a couple of weeks to repent and get things under the blood.

  416. If they are a minister and they've read the wrong book, they should

  417. reset after wah and they should be balanced again and well rounded and well founded

  418. in the scripture. Usually when a man is unbalanced, it is because he

  419. is covering some misadventure. He's covering some sin. No, remember that a

  420. blind leader cannot get you out of the monk of a mira. If you

  421. don't get out of there, it will be death by miss Admit, Lord,

  422. I set out to do a good thing. I set out to build

  423. a church. I set out to plan a churchill. I set out to

  424. do this a do but it became a misigmitture, a death by misadventure.

  425. Save yourself from this untoward generation, Peter said. He said in essence,

  426. he said, preserve yourself from the perverted generation. Brother the thing, there's

  427. a plant maintenance supervisor, and he was telling me several months ago that they

  428. had to undergo an FDA inspection, they had to undergo a CDC inspection,

  429. and they also had to undergo an FWC inspection. He said. The day

  430. before the FWC inspector was to be on site, he did a perimeter check.

  431. He said, he rode on the dune there and was right up against

  432. an eight foot tall fence. For the entire perimeter. On both sides of

  433. that dune was a ditch, and if I remember correctly, he said,

  434. there were four strands of barbed wire across the top of an eighth foot fence.

  435. Brother Nathaniel and the other managers of the CRL laboratories do not intend for

  436. anything to get in or get out. But Brother Nathaniel said, when he

  437. saw that there was a hole, an entry and an exit point for some

  438. barments critter, he said, he took the time to take his fade or

  439. shovel and to fill in that hole. He said the next day, as

  440. he drove the f w C inspect her around, he said that fw C

  441. inspector said, look right there over yonder twist it up in the strands of

  442. BoNT wire. There is a cat, a cat. Some of you'll get

  443. broken heart or more over the cat. Then you want somebody aparting the baby.

  444. It comes from this adventure, doesn't it. And he said that fw

  445. C and spector told one of the scientists and the veterinarians there at the laugh,

  446. said, go get me shuckeding to put into the veins of that cat

  447. so that I can put into sleep and attempt a rescue. It was within

  448. an inch of its off from fighting for its life. Brother Nathaniel, I

  449. remember you telling me about the man in the veterinarian putting it to sleep.

  450. And did that cat live or not? They all took it to some rescue

  451. facility because that's what the FWC inspector of the game board was supposed to do,

  452. and that's what they wanted to do anywhere in case the media got a

  453. hold of it. But if I understood correctly, the cat survived. Now

  454. that cat was trying to get in there, apparently to get something that shouldn't

  455. have been getting and had been coming in and out of their probably to get

  456. the rats that were eating the feed for them. Monkeys now are y'all listening

  457. right here, but Ton that cat's adventure became a misadventurer and had the Inspector

  458. not come for come on now, it would have died rapped up in the

  459. barliner. And I'm telling somebody that night the Inspector k is here and I'm

  460. preaching not my words, so I'm not preaching up come to seek out lines

  461. or CDC regulations. I'm preaching a word and gone up and telling you you

  462. are not pots pinch your health. You're there go and that's it all up

  463. for you seeking up who you look and dying up. Then any touch up

  464. b pnchu he ithould not be up. But this sake picture I'll tell us

  465. somebody use in this fielding the night up coming to dot go dad top.

  466. That's that that chime I feel holding theirs there this though. I remember when

  467. we left the Church of God Cleveland, and we always have to get this

  468. disclaimer for some of our old friends listening to this podcast, that I'm not

  469. preaching all of them, and I'm preaching that you are barn ten is not

  470. to offend anybody that is listening. I know there's still some good sact the

  471. pie living back to this. There's some good sac the pie live in Church

  472. of God pot but they're not many. There's not many. There's not many.

  473. But we left. We pulled our church God because the Holy Ghost told

  474. us and the leaders the head is sick. The head is sick. The

  475. preachers have been off of some new fangled doctrine. They're using the verses of

  476. the Bible. Their teachers are lopsided. It's unbalanced. There's a twist in

  477. perverted spirit. Then the building twisting the scriptures and twisting the word of God.

  478. It's unbalanced doctrially. There's some off. There's a charismatic spirit there.

  479. We all knew it, and the Holy Gess was nudging us. Go on,

  480. go on, go on. My granddaddy and men that I respected built

  481. the churches that we left. Y'all listening, go on. And I remember

  482. one dear sister, sister Lowd. We'll hate to call her names. She's

  483. dead gone. She did not go on when the Holy gests said gone.

  484. I remember another near sister, sister Bardy. They looked the epitomy of holiness

  485. up. They were old body, they were an example. There was somebody

  486. who could there. Then when we left, they said we don't see it

  487. though, we don't get it. We'll stay right here with a silver d

  488. steal these two people in the touch of God. Let me tell you what

  489. happened. Ten years later. I was in the lone John Silverson. I'm

  490. sitting in there, just me and my bride on Sunday. I'm sorry,

  491. I just lost something. Don't bother something. I still love you. Keep

  492. listening to the principal. But you know what. I looked over there and

  493. I saw this woman wearing a big old ring. I saw fingernails done up

  494. and painted it. I saw a little bit of trimmed hair, and I

  495. looked and I said, that looks like old Sister Burne, that spirit feel

  496. on powerhouse woman that we left behind. They said, we'll hold it forth

  497. down. We'll be okay. I know we're dwindling down to nothing. The

  498. spirit of God has dissipated from our minch. But I'll be all right.

  499. I'll be okay. I remember once we started that independent hole in this church

  500. in a garage one particular Saritay. I went to a host of them people

  501. and I talked to them from my heart, and they just saw me as

  502. that cute young guy that has such an innocent little bird that bless your heart.

  503. We mean well, brother Philip, I can't tell you of one of

  504. them. I know there's some good ones out there in the Church of God

  505. and matter the churches, but I can't tell you of one of them that

  506. would not have put a sister, that would not have put a raiser or

  507. scissors in her hand. I can't tell you of one of them that made

  508. it. I can't tell you of one of them that lived a sanctified life

  509. up until their death. Hey, I remember we went Christmas Carolyn. Then

  510. we went over there with Sister Lowry's house, and I thought that woman that

  511. reminded me of Sister Wood was gonna come out. She loved to sing and

  512. sing with us. And out came this crepites looking world and woman. And

  513. I asked somebody, I said, is that killing me? Sister Lowry?

  514. Has somebody went to your rolling do their face up? Who ain't saying that

  515. he is her? Sister Nollery. I'm talking about death. Find yourself that

  516. picture I'm will be talking that can tie up. It can't be another get

  517. out of the edge. Let him Trina size you. Let im talk about

  518. how cras you are now, I'm talking about how you persuit there, not

  519. say a saying no, I'm not gonna live can adenching me? Here are

  520. you? It's nothing. We're trying to be out and in ourself. We're

  521. trying it out by leaders. Tell us in a bench. Let's look at

  522. our text again. Mark ten twenty two. Blind Barnabas is on the side

  523. of the road. He was sitting beside the ditch. Our roads have some

  524. sort of ditch. All roads have something that catches the debris the ground,

  525. the trash. Why do I have to sit in the church when there's trash

  526. in the ditches, in the pews and in the os. It should be

  527. furoughs. It should be roads where the seed of righteouses get planted. It

  528. should not be ditches full of trash. I shouldn't have to wait through the

  529. trash to get up by pew now for the sinner coming in. But when

  530. the saints or want me to pat sin We had come in this thing to

  531. romance devils. We came in this thing to rebut devils, we come in

  532. this thing to save sinners. Through the power of the Lord. Only Jesus

  533. can save sinners. I pray that as long as I live, and as

  534. long as my wife lives, that you can follow us as we follow Christ.

  535. You see, Barnamais He had heard that Jesus was hassen by that way.

  536. This some places where Jesus may pass by every now and then. But

  537. I want you to know he has no plan on camping out there. He

  538. has no plan on staying there. I say, Jesus, if you ain't

  539. staying there, I'm going where you're goods, where God moves, I go.

  540. He was crying out to the Lord Jesus, Jesus, get me out

  541. of the ditch. Jesus get mad in this dead situation. Jesus get mad

  542. of this dormant situation. Someone had been crying to the Lord. One dear

  543. sister said tonight, I've been crying and praying for a year. God pulled

  544. her out of the ditch. Can y'all imagine, Barnabaeus, what isn't recorded

  545. about what he said? What isn't recorded about what he said? Help me,

  546. save me, Get me away from this road, Get me away from

  547. this ditch. Well, Barnibaeus, year around people. You're saying for being

  548. around people, I said a little while ago, It depends on who you're

  549. following. Jesus spoke to Barnimas and healed him because he intended for Barnimas to

  550. get out of the ditch. And that's the same thing with an ultar service.

  551. When we build an altar, we expect people to fall in love with

  552. Jesus and not to go back into the world. We expect the soal not

  553. to return to its waller, and in the barer, we expect the dog

  554. not to return to its bobby. Notice that after he healed Barnimaeus, Jesus

  555. allowed Barnimedus to follow him. Not a religion, not a methahless church,

  556. not a gracehole in his church, not a liberty holding his church. I'm

  557. just trying to think of something. Not first Church of the Gulf of Mexico

  558. holding his church. But immediately he followed, not a religion, he followed

  559. Jesus. He pursued relationship in the way, and may I say, immediately

  560. he realized how close he had come to death by misadventure. Would you come

  561. to the piano, Brother Jesse, Brother Tyler gave me a testimony last night.

  562. I wish you all could hear it. I'm almost tempted to play it.

  563. After the service tonight, he spoke of the time that his grandma and

  564. grandpa meant well and concerning his education. They took him to a place that

  565. they felt like would be a place of spiritual growth and development and maturity.

  566. It was an adventure for them. And I was his pastor, and I

  567. remember praying and saying, I should feel good about this. I don't feel

  568. terrible about it, but I don't feel good about it, but I should

  569. be feeling great about it. He's going to a pentecost or holding church wherever

  570. it was, and his granddaddy would take him there and stay in that area

  571. all day long. My brother Tyler was sharing with me yesterday. He said

  572. it was just heartache and heartbreaking disappointment. At the disappointment, he said,

  573. including one time the pastor coming out without a shirt on. Is that true?

  574. Did it happen? Where did that happen? At Tennessee on a school

  575. trip and a moteil had to ask him a question. So he came outside

  576. on the balcony without the shirt on, in front of God and everybody.

  577. That's Tyler Woot talking right there. Tyler never told me about that until last

  578. night, I'll tell you all this. I would die before my kids see

  579. me without my shirt on. Not everybody's going to see eye to eye.

  580. But then he told me of a time that the young people were told it

  581. was okay to dress like the black Eyed peas and rap artist. I'm not

  582. calling any names. I don't intend to humiliate anybody or embarrass anybody. But

  583. brother Tyler said, I had almost asked my soul and what my grandparents thought

  584. was the adventure of my life because they had responded to your preaching and we

  585. all started doing good and living right. Grandpa thought taking me out of the

  586. sickular school system and pulled me away from the popic school would be an adventurer

  587. for me. It would be a blessing. Only for me to know it's

  588. no better there than it was at the pupic school. In fact, Tyler

  589. said it was worse and it had a negative influence. The last night,

  590. with a broken heart, he calls me Dad, he said, Dad,

  591. if it hadn't have been for you just following and leading to the Lord sometimes

  592. and just preaching and offering clarity, you didn't know what I was hiding.

  593. You didn't know what I was facing you didn't know what I was experiencing,

  594. but me being able to regain balance and regain baron and then be told as

  595. you were following Christ that certain things are not normal. I want you all

  596. to know it is not normal, even among the worldly churches, even some

  597. of charismatic persuasion to tell the students and the pupils in their Christian school to

  598. dress up like rap artists. Brother Tyler has told me that one even don

  599. the fedora and attempted to look like Michael Jackson. That's cut wrenching and heartbreaking.

  600. I am not intending to cast shade upon anybody, but I am telling

  601. you tonight, did we wonder why our kids are in the ditch? Let's

  602. stand tonight when we hear about things of this nature, take them, sister,

  603. won't. And I see you weeping and crying right now, bawling your

  604. eyes out. What we meant for an adventure almost turned into a misadventure.

  605. What you meant for the saving of your grandson's life was actually a tool in

  606. the hand of the devil of destruction. That breaks my heart. But then

  607. when I think of how close I came where I was when he searched me

  608. and found me, Brother Caleb. When I think of how close you were,

  609. Brother Roquat, when I think of how close you were, Brother would

  610. when I think of how close you were, sister, how when I think

  611. of how very close you were, how close we all were to ending up

  612. in the dish. I thank god he found me just entirely. I feel

  613. the Holy Ghost in this place in a beautiful sweet way of some weeping cry,

  614. because if it wasn't for the grace of God, I too would have

  615. been confused, and I too would have ended up in the ditch. This

  616. man desired to follow Jesus immediately after his healing, and as soon as he

  617. saw clearly, he distanced himself from the ditch. And I want to say

  618. this again, it's not that we're attempting to alienate ourselves on an island,

  619. but we are trying to distance from the ditch. How many are thankful for

  620. the sight and the vision that you now have, creature. I didn't see

  621. it clearly. Here's what Brother Tyler told me night through brokenness. He said,

  622. I had no vision, I had no understanding. I could not see

  623. clearly. And he said, I've hit it from you all of these years

  624. of what really went on? And brother Tyler comes stand by me. Here's

  625. what he said. I'm too ashamed to tell you else went on, And

  626. here's what I said. You said enough, speak no more of the matter.

  627. This man made it clear to everyone. I don't need a religion.

  628. I need a relationship, and I desire to follow Jesus. And follow Jesus

  629. he did. As we bow our heads tonight, I feel like an attitude

  630. of gratitude should be in this building, and we all should thank God that

  631. we too have come away from the ditch. There's some of you you have

  632. told me. We are written page through letters. You have told me of

  633. your experiences. Your adventures have turned into mishaps and misadventures. And it's only

  634. by the grace of God tonight we're not reporting a death by misadventure. If

  635. there's somebody under the sin of my voice that would like to come forward and

  636. say, Preacher, that was me, I want to thank God that I'm

  637. not a casual eader misadventure. Are you there and you want to thank God?

  638. Come on? Come on? Would you raise your hand? There's one,

  639. there's two, there's three, there's four, So why don't we just

  640. come on up? There's five, there's six. Why don't you think the

  641. Lord that you come to the knowledge of the truth. Why don't you think

  642. the Lord for the leadership of the Holy Ghost most importantly, the leadership of

  643. the Holy Ghost and the word. The word. That word is a lamp.

  644. And to my feet been aligned to my path. My feet had now

  645. slipped. I almost became that addicted person. I almost became that habitual sinner.

  646. I almost became that religious hypocrite. I almost ended up in a ditch.

  647. You'll go ahead, just obey the Lord to how to do it?

  648. The death by missus h what happened to him? A red arg I have

  649. passion, as I know I had a hand. I have you wants?

  650. There's my habit? Why you father, have Jesus Us? There she gover

  651. God Mather state got knowing the favor from to late dodge cheerious. I'd rather

  652. have Jesus there has housing old. I'd rather be by Hope peace, thirty

  653. looking man. See it's sweet. I'd rather have two sevens. They think

  654. this one beltful day
