Stay away and stay awake - Bro Jeremy Howell 6-26-2024

Three of the King James verse of Bible. Man, direct your attention to

Saint Mark's Gospel, chapter number thirteen. Then we'll be leading verses number thirty

two through thirty seven. Brother Jesse Matthew Champion number twenty five and verse number

four. Brother Nathaniel First Thessalonians Champion number five, Versus number one through four.

A Brother Jesse Matthew, Champion number twenty five, Verse number four,

praising Lord. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps,

Amen, Brother Nathaniel First Thessalonians, Champion number five, Verses one through four.

But of the times in the seasons, brethren, you have no need.

Did I write them to you? For yourselves know perfectly that the day

of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night, For when they

shall save peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail

upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape. But you,

brethren, are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief.

Amen, I'm not afraid of the thief. That's the inspiration for this

sermon was something that was whispered into my heart by the Lord and the Holy

Ghost these words, I'm not afraid of the thief. I want to preach

a message the Holy Ghost titled stay away and stay awake. May we stand

for the reading of our Golden Text. Mark chapter number thirteen, verses number

thirty two through thirty seven. The Bible reads like this, But if that

day and that hour knoweth no man, No, not the angels which are

in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Now I want you

to notice, these are the words of Jesus as he dwell upon earth amongst

men and women, and boys and girls. Every bit of the contents of

this blessed book are the words of God. They are the words of the

Lord. The Holy men of God, as they were moved on by the

Holy ghosts, spoke the word of God. This is how the Lord feels

about society. This is how the Lord feels about the future. This is

how the Lord feels about all things. This is his thoughts. If you

want to put on the mind of Christ, you just read the entire Bible

over and over and over. You hear the word of God, you heed

it, you apply it to your life. But at this particular time,

God Incarnate God in human flesh is dwelling among men and women, and he

is speaking to them. So you see these words in red. Okay,

he's between the age of thirty and thirty three. And notice he put an

emphasis in the middle of this verse. He says, no, but if

that day and that hour knoweth no man. It's like somebody nearby was thinking,

I know, I have an idea, I have a handle on it,

I have a good gifts. And so he puts emphasis no. And

then he wants to clarify, not the angels which are in heaven, neither

the son speaking of himself, but the Father. First number thirty three.

Take ye, heed, watch and pray, for ye know not when the

time he is. Ye know not when the time he is. But we're

also not living in darkness, because with spirit filled we had the Holy Ghost,

and he will guide us and tell us things that are forthcoming. First

number thirty four. For the Son of Man is as a man taking a

far journey, who left his house and gave authority to his servants and to

every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch watch ye therefore,

for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, and even or

at midnight or at the cock crowing, or in the morning. Meaning,

we have no idea what time of the day or night, lest suddenly he

come and he finds you sleeping, Lest coming suddenly he finds you sleeping.

And what I say unto you, I say unto all. Watch and could

y'all imagine with me right now what everyone thought as he spoke those words to

him and ended with that statement. Watch the excitement, the anticipation of things

forthcoming is no doubt, something to be excited about. May we pray,

Heavenly Father, we love it. We praise you. We thank you for

the opportunity to be in the house of the Lord. I thank you for

the construction projects that are taking place. I thank you for the preparations that

are taking place for the ford and pulling his convention. I'm thankful for all

of these diligent workers. They are diligent in their business. I pray that

you bless them. I know you we will. They're not doing it for

the reward of the bless them, but please bless them. I love them

so much, You love them so much. I pray that you would go

with this. Thy serv will set it guard in my mouth and help me

to say the things that you would have me to say, nothing more or

less, and north the ears of this thy people will take you out hear

what it is the Spirit of God is saying to this people tonight. May

we not be hearers only, but may we heed. I pray that the

word of God would go below the shoulders. Lord, not just in one

air and out the other, not just in the by, but let it

be in the soul and the spirit. Let us saturate our entire being.

May we worship You, experiment in truth, give us ears to hear.

I pray, Oh God, may we depart this place joyfully, not sorrowfully.

And the church says that Jesus Name, Amen. Our text has found

in a New Testament book of the Holy Bible. John Mark is the author

of this gospel. You will remember this past Sunday morning. The Holy Ghost

led me to take a text out of John Mark's gospel. And I know,

fellow ministers, it's hard to imagine that I dared to pluck a text

from this particular chapter of Saint Mark's gospel. Well I must, because the

Lord Jesus told me to do so. So here we go. First,

let me say I know many great preachers and teachers have read much material concerning

the things mentioned in this thirteenth chapter of the Book of Mark. Some of

them I will listen to as they evangelize, preach t or minister. There's

others of them that I will stay away from. Again, I'm preaching tonight

a message the Holy Ghost titled stay away and Stay Awake. There's a lot

of people today preaching things that they have read out of someone's book. A

mortal man put pen to parchment, and he theorize as to concerning the things

that are forthcoming, concerning New Jerusalem, the tribulation period, the Millennial reign.

They theorize things that are forthcoming, and so a lot of them that

have a problem with the confusion that surrounds the actual second coming of the Lord,

they avoid or neglect to preach on this topic. You won't find very

many preachers attempting to preach on the second coming of the Lord, and if

they do, most of them will be upsided because of the material that they

used while preparing for that servant. And I want to teach an upcoming generation

that we must be very careful concerning in time prophecy in time events concerning things

that are speaking of the tribulation, the millennial reign, and other things of

that nature. I have been a student of that particular topic, meaning I

have been a student of the end times. And if you will read the

Bible from the front to the back, repeatedly, over and over, and

if you will apply the first mention of principle, and if you will use

scripture to interpret scripture primarily not using a man, a mere mortal man that

may have been inspired or may not have been inspired, not using his resources,

his material, or his commentary. If you will open up your spirit,

and that the Holy Ghost, who is our God, the Holy Ghost

will lead and guide us into all truth. And the Holy Ghost came in

the stead of Jesus after Jesus announced his suit coming, and he said that

he would be the one that would keep the bride, and that would help

the bride stay prepared for his return. The problem today is not that people

have nothing able to pinpoint exactly when the Lord is coming, because some have

attempted to do so and they have miserably felt. The problem is god that

there's a lack of people willing to try to tell us the time. The

day, the hour of the year. The problem is is people have lost

their God, they have lost the Holy Girls. That it's going to be

imperative of most importance to the people of God that we keep our God trust

being the word of God. God's word is our God. The Bible said,

thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

Also, the Holy Ghost is the one that leads and God's us into

all truth. That's going to stare it said tonight. He said, we

must be willing to humble ourself where the truth is. A lot of men

that have developed their opinions, they are unwilling to humble themselves and to admit

that they could have been wrong. I remember several years ago while reading the

newspaper. I was not reading the news offered my sailor the Visor through a

news app, but I had an old little heart copy of the newspaper.

I used to read the USA today every day. I used to read the

Lakeland Letger every day. They say that's how a man can become smart,

his retreat upore newspapers a day. I'll tell you another way to become intelligence

is to repeatedly read the Book of Proverbs and the words of God and put

on the mind of Christ. But I remember one particular evening, as I

was reading the newspaper, I read of a religious leader by the name of

Harold Camping having of you in this building to not recognize their name, only

a couple of y'all. I remember he got on a radio station, some

sort of family radio Christian network, and he claimed that in May twenty one

of twenty eleven, that there would be an appearance of our Lord that he

picked pointed that our Lord would come exactly on that day to May twenty first,

twenty eleven. But I've got news for you all here tonight. The

Layer did not come on May twenty first of twenty eleven. I remember some

well meaning Christians had that local Church of God that I attended back in the

year nineteen eighty eight, some of the Sunday school teachers begin to pass up

around some material that they said was spiritual material of a certain the elogian or

a scholar on the topic of that in times that he titled the book eighty

eight Reasons on Why Jesus Will Come Back in eighty eight. Do you know

it seemed to be like that at least thirty percent fifty percent of the church

built up on that. They felt like that man knew the hour, he

knew the day, the day, the tie. That was in direct contradiction

to what Jesus Christ can self with told religious people of his day. You

see this man Herold camping that he had claimed that two hundred billions would be

taken away by the Lord. That they spent money to publicize it. I

remember the publicity concerning it. I saw some bill boards. I saw pictures

of Bill Bodsby in the rector as this false prophet wealth trying to make the

world know about this particular day. I saw Sunday school teachers and in nineteen

eighty eight get into debates, and it left the disharmony and discord and confusion

within that local church because they were not reading their Bible. I know there's

a lot of people today being held captive by YouTube. I want you to

know, as I was praying God and know that YouTube it is not a

portal to glory here. The youto is not sun sort of whosource up for

the child of God to her after they to turn the are and somehow be

just to glow mysteriously and their minds are illuminated her with true to Unfortunately her,

someone else takes place to Usually we usually they walk away from her whatever

it is they have to do in that portal or that take way that they

have entered, and did not lead them to understanding that and let them into

confusion. The Bible said that our God is not the offer of confusion.

I'm telling you there's somebit in Penecosta and holding this people today. We do

not want to fiss up. We do not want to let it. But

we know had our meetings at the march and dinner tables at some of these

other places, and where the saints get there are people talking about this and

talking about that. And you ask them where did they come across this mindset?

Where did they come across her this particular opinion? And they say,

well, I've been watching there a certain preacher. They're a certain teacher on

YouTube, and he's caused my mind to be in life. Oh really,

have you studied the life of that man? What has he been able to

lead about a life? As Carl said, my Peter does her, I

could do it. I have the power to lead her to life to grow.

I have a power of her. It is inside of me that will

help me to need children the glory. Why don't you know him the neighbor

among you, that people would these students for a preacher before that our students

for the preacher's message. Then we would not be here to let us strain

so easily. That's what happened in the residents of over make Compola back in

walk around on the fringes of Pentecostal churches and holiness churches, and to educate

our new converts and our maids in Christ. May I serve you notice,

sir and ma'am, it is unlikely that you are the porter. I know

that you, too, is not the prophet's portal. I'm telling you the

prophet's portal's the word of God. That is not to the teacher that set

somebody who right there. But I'm telling you I'm still of somebody here to

nia. You need your watch, yes, sir, but you better be

careful what you're watch it. Why are you so worried about the thief?

There are some people that you need to stay away from. The old timers

had a saying that went like this, They are to be shunned as though

they weren't the plague. What that bip was, little boy, I don't

have time to explain it to you, but I'm sure you can understand the

word shunning, which speaks to be separated from avoid, but the distance between

you and them and shunning them like the plague. We can do it like

this. Now we can say it like this, monosterpi. They are to

be shunning the like they are the COVID virus for sonified the right there and

Let's some people there you need to stay away from their podas so you lose

from you too. You better not doing that. I'm telling you You're gonna

teachers. We're concerned. Then the Day's appeal and Paul, the entire book

of you is expressing a concern. Are false teachers? You better be careful

on that platform. Who they're false teaching? Oh, I want to preach

to you the knowledge. It seems to me lot, brother road Captain.

They don't spend near enough time reading the sacred scriptures. They don't balance the

resources and their materials with the sacred scriptures. They're very similar to the charismatics.

And I know that word in itself charisma correct. Having charisma or being

a charismatic is not necessarily a bad word, but it is associated with people

that have a belief system that is unbalanced. It is not balanced by the

word of God. Now I'm telling of this people concerning the preaching and the

teaching or the end times. They are lopsided. They come to church to

send this actress service that teaching her on the tribulation. This is what God

gave me in my prayer call. He said, I wonder heard anybody preacher

on these lines, but the same holy guess that administer's God, I've got

us live. And that night he told me to tell somebody, why is

the focusing on the tribulation? I said, God, he shook me to

my corn and said, why it's the focus on the tribute side. That

expression shipped me in my cord means it went into my interveniing, I trembled,

and I quaind better the influence of the Holy Ghost, and I said,

God, you're right. All my life I've heard from lopsided preachers,

and I know they'll be. They're gonna turn me off right now, right

here in this building. They're gonna turn me off right now. Because when

you get a group of ministers together, if you bring ten thousand of them

together, seven thousand of them were gonna say we're pre tribulation. There's gonna

be two thousand of them saying we're middle tribulation, while there's others that says,

so we're post tribulation. Where is the coming of the Lord out in

that and where old where it is through Jerusalem? Talking about that. I

don't mar my ch'all, but I'm like that front of that said, I

would leave then a pin out. And you can tell by my preaching to

night that I'm nowhere near my notebooker. I'm not here. Tell I'm not

uneducated. I understand the different two points totally. Don't come on now,

I'll tell you what I'm doing. I love laboring myself, tree me in

a conser myself, but trying to follow O prow up. What's a off?

But why? Somebody told me recently on a prominent Pentecostal and Holdiness platform

that a preacher was removed from that platform for saying similar statements to what I

just said, because the upper echureline in that movement. They said, we're

pre trill. But I know enough about that movement to know it's been divided

the east of the Midwest and the west for years concerning this particular subject anyway,

And a lot of the holiness movements people have got a lot of mid

trim background, A lot of the Church of God people have been a lot

of pre trim background, and that maybe somebody else has a background that is

posed to a trip. Why are we missing the big picture? Why are

we worrying? Why are we fussing? Why are we fighting? I seen

many good people divided over the subject come from the end time from and then

they'll always be that hard headed man. How come on, spiritless and so

the secret tell they ain't full of the Holy Ghost up They'll say, well,

I know which due point I'm will I know how I will leave.

What can you lead your family? Now? Can you lead your trusting the

Bible? How are you so? So? If you tell if you tell

you a build a congregation that runs thirty the only person you've got convinced apparently

as yourself, And tell me, ain't got everybody in that church called your

parishioners convinced on that subject either. I'm telling you believe it. I seen

many good people divided over the subject of the end times. I'm telling you

when I I first started evangelizing and preaching out nearly seventeen years ago, I

heard grown men, some in their fifties, some in their sixties and seventies,

get upset about their brother. They were standing right there in front of

them, not believing it exactly the way they believed it. I'm not gonna

tell you how I believe. Sometimes when I preach, some of the Midtrip

brothers from out West called me and say, man, we're glad for one

of us. And sometimes when I preach some of my pre Tribulation brothers,

they call me and say, man, we're glad you're one of us.

I'm gonna leave it us a mystery because I know there are many mysteries in

the Bible. Come on now, ironically, denominations. We're created because of

a diverse opinions on this topic. But they neglected it's truth and righteous there,

Sir Tomu talking denied heed. It astricts the surface, but the big

picture, you too Muslim to send me now and then there coming back up

for his bride. I'm not saying everybody has neglected it. I'm not saying

everybody's visit it. Then I'm not saying everybody's wrong. My point is,

why are you so worried about the seat? If Jesus is the thief Lord,

remember this, If you're one of his chores, He's coming back for

you. Why they're so nervous about the seat? On the talk, you

see sister wound in their neglect of dealing with divine healing. They are no

longer having healings. You have witness heals. The they neglect of passion and

playing for revival, they are no longer heaven Holy goes out toolds. I

want you want to know, we've got to have some oil and the vessel

as well as the man. We need the confuser and the outpuring of the

holy girl. Sir. Then I'll tell you this. Everybody that's the minister

to rite me for the bridegroom. Let she has an idea that her were

the big day with me. Let she has an idea of health hope.

We're in the proposal. Well, I'm telling you it's not gonna touch yourself.

O way, it's not gonna touch yourself. I siprime the same holy

girls, but I pre trading the same holy girls. Say the clicking chill

what they had to say about it more than what Jesus and the other Inspire

writers had to say, said, I keep preaching us, should we go

to the house. To be clear, we have witnessed many people get lost

in their theories. And if I can be honest, in almost fifty years

or half a decade of being in Pentecoster and holiness churches, I have seen

men who I proceed from a child to be intellectuals and to be very wise

and learning the scripture. I have seen them or lose their minds as anybody

seen that. They become a lopsided. I've talked about this for the last

ten years. They just ain't the wrong thing. They say, you can

eat watermelon every day for thirty days and it will radically change your life.

Hollado about y'all. I definitely want to preach you on the last days of

entire events. I'm doing it right now. But we allso can be life

sided far. I seen too many people use this as an agent a separation

among the members of the kingdom book. To be clear, we have witnessed

many people get lost in their theories of what may or may not happen before

every living soul spends the less agents and eternity that when timer is no more,

and the times sitting at night as he's saying that if whenever Jesus comes,

I'm lost and I'm not saving O be to me. I'm telling you

we're missing the big picture. There's some of our preacher, there's some of

my teacher, there's some of our sons. Somebody wants us to say exactly

when he's coming, you better stay packed up and ready to go. I

remember O Chank, our baseball player in the Bold Bear Church of God.

The quartet would sing every Sunday morning. I remember one particular service. He

stood up there and the lead singer or the bass singer the quartet said,

brother Thark wrote a song last night, he said, and we're gonna try

to sing it. We've been trying to practice it, and it said I

am packed up and ready to go. You know, there's a lot of

people doing what they're doing and listening to these false preachers and teachers and prophets

on YouTube because they are not packed up, they are not ready to go,

and so they are worry warts. And if you all are listening for

the trumpet, I know a white Hairs. I think it was twelve years

ago. I told her to get an email address ready for me so I

could set up her email. She wrote it out on paper. I thought

it'd be something like Jeremy's girl. I thought it was somebody Jeremy's baby.

I thought it'd be something like a howl, her mother of six, something

like that, wife of one. But you know what, she wanted to

be a slip of paper. I've never forgot her email addressed because it was

so relevant to what I was a female. Every cashier that's ever keep it

in, every businessman or woman that's ever topped it in, they picked up

their head and look at her as she repeats it, listening for his call,

or how any of you are listening for the salad on a trumpet?

I can almost hear the sound a trumping oh yes, the mens an to

go forth? How many are listening? And how many are looking for their

pride? What to whatever Christ's feeling? Way, it's listening, They're looking,

they're watching, they're waiting. But my problem is de is wring,

not me. I'm not staying away all night long on YouTube trying to pinpoint

exactly how many things are left to be fulfilled done. I'm telling you what

God has given every person a measure the faith and grace God has dealt with

every person in some way. Every country has been evangelized. I've heard the

preachers talking about the Great Commission being fulfilled years ago, and I still feel

like we must fulfill it, and we must resound it. We must herod

it, receive the clearing call of the Commission, and that we must reach

everybody. But I do know there's Bibles in just about every country that the

Word of God has been broadcasting just about in every country. I don't know

what's keeping the bridegroom from coming, apparently as to Father, who is not

willing for anyone to perish. But if we're waiting on five thousand or fifty

thousand or five hundred to hear the good news, hot come on now,

Whitney, you cut that offer because reproduction is taking place in humanity. God

knows the time. That's what Jesus was saying. My father's good to watch

her, oh wreck. He doesn't want anybody to die. He lost time.

He doesn't want to happen to relave or come on now, I'll tell

us somebody. There's some things that waits up to you. The wedding day,

I said there's some days that should be waiting all but till the wedding

day. People running around, When can I have it? When could I

know? When could I put a date on it? Said? I stop

preaching or keep preaching. When we're done gone, Saints of God, those

of us in an as you're fifty and older, when we're donet gone,

we've got to prepare them. I'm telling you when we're donet gone that they're

not careful. They're gonna get the raw materr. They're gonna listening to the

wrong thing. They're gonna feel that deficit that somebody makes them to feel like

they're missing out. I'm listening for the trumpet right now while I'm fetching.

I'm expecting to look coming to the Lord any day now, y'all. Hey,

I'm not looking for the seven year. That's why I say easy for

them to nail it down, because seven years that really nails it down,

doesn't it. I mean, it's not seven hundred years, it's not seven

million years, it's not seven hundred thousand years. So they want to base

everything on that little seven year. You'll know how long this fear since Jesus

went home? Y'll know how long it's been a sister bridegroom went away.

It's been a pretty good time. But everybody of every generation, they're trying

to figure out what's going on in the seven years when we've lost a long

time. And I know one day with the Lord, that's a thousand with

I know I'm expecting God. I'm not weary with anticipate anticipation. I'm not

weary with that spectation. I'm telling you I've expected him any day now.

Truly, every bereaver in this building, it's not laying awakened night wondering where

he is. The Bible said concerning the virgins in the twenty fifth chapter of

the Book of Matthew, the Bible said, they all slumber, brother can

I'm preaching on stay away and stay awake. I need to stay away from

some of these false teachers. He needs shutting the lock to covid. You

need to shunning the lock to plague. I know that's so popular even in

some hold in this church. Is not all in some Pentecostal churches, not

all separation, and don't lock that sanctification, do they? But every Christian

which is part of the bride of Christ is listening for the voice of the

bridegroom, and listening for the sound of the trumpet and the Michael Joseph when

rooms here tonight. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy

for years. He could tell you there was a time within certain Church of

God sect and denominations and breakoffs that they believed they were, in fact the

body of Christ. They were the bride of Christ, and that you all

were grafted in independence anybody else was grafted in. But they were literally the

body of Christ personified. Why didn't somebody draw up a red flag and say,

wait a minute, Taul and Apostolic brother of that age, and the

people at Carintha, and the Church at Glacial and the Church oft desler Nikah,

they were not Church of God of prophecy. Oh come on there,

I turn off somebody. These denominations literally speak, somebody met in a fracture,

a fracture, and they weren't not the pride of Christ per silified.

What I'll say it again, the trut a gout of prophecy. Then you

turning got a prophecy concern and any other preank coppery that they have. It's

not the buddy. But the pride to Christ. Every football part again,

Belieper is part of the pride of Christ. Didn't get it? Now?

How come people be so the racing mind? But then we've gotten some of

our preachers as soon as they hear somebody touch this topic. I've been educated

by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins. Let me tell you something that is your

problem. It's your favorite series in your library and loopside of the picture.

It is the Left Behind series by Tim LaHaye. You are definitely that person

that has been led to the ditch that I preached about last Wednesday night.

You're gonna have a death by missing bitch yuh. Reverend Hey and Reverend Jenkins

are way off. If the Lord comes, right, it won't be like

they said. When the Lord comes, it won't be like they said.

And he is coming. The Lord is coming. The Lord is coming.

There won't be ten thousand buses going over bridges, there won't be ten thousand

airplanes crashing into the sea. There won't be this great mass conversion. What's

gonna be is a great mass perversion because the spirit of anti Christ will take

over. And I don't want to get off on that right now. The

big picture right here. I'm not saying this is not a major event to

take place. And I'm excited about the coming of the Lord soon and very

soon we shall see the King. We have shouted over that soon and very

soon we are going to see the King. What a day that will be.

With my Jesus we shall see. Are you excited about living in a

city peace, joy, and victory. I'm looking forward to living in a

place where there's no sorrows, Sister we where we never berries her husband again.

I'm looking forward to going to a place where there's the cancer now the

Philip, where a preacher's son never gets diagnosed with an aggressive type of cancer

again. I'm looking over a city, Sister Harrison, where there is no

disease, where a man of my church doesn't have to help his the same

a wife every day of the week again. And Alisa Harrison, I'm looking

And men and women today, women too. Right, when men begin to

post their theories, when they begin to theorize concerning God's past actions and his

stay away from. Their words will divide us. The very word denomination scares

me. In school, we learned of something called an integer, which was

of a certain denomination, that frightens me because that tells me the ministers within

that denomination certainly disagree and differ. Right then there's some misinterpretation, there's somebody

missing it. This is why we need a revival of the Holy Ghost,

and we need to live according to the word. Hey you got that lamp

I've been reading God's book right in there. I know they're lopsided when they

use John Wesley's name, or that they use Jesus christ name. We got

a problem when they use Smith Wiggles's worst name more than they use Jesus Christ's

name. We got a problem when they use Charles Ferge's name more than they

use the name of Jesus Christ. We've got a problem, am my preacher

prophecy batter tonight, but we are definitely flying groaths of righteousness. Thank God,

He's coming back for a glorious church. You see when you study this

thirteenth chapter. Preachers John Mark against the chapter with the Disciples of Jesus,

pointing Jesus's attention to a very important monumental structure in town. They're like,

Jesus, look over there. Excuse me, Jesus. I know your teachers

are very important, but Jesus look over there, and Jesus has basically said,

you're missing the big picture. I don't care anything about that temple over

there. Jesus said these words. After they said these words, they said,

Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here? See

what books I've got right here in the library. See what sermons I've got

right here in the library. The Lord Jesus responded with a frank rebuke.

He told them a forthcoming destruction to Herod's temple. The temple would be destroyed

at once more. If I'm not mistaken, it was first destroyed following a

siege by never Connissur on Jerusalem by the Babylonian Empire. Then after the Lord

Propheside to his disciples, then it would be destroyed again by the Emperor Titus

in a d seventy. I've seen the teachings of Harold Camping destroyed. I've

seen the offer for the book eighty eight reasons why Jesus he is coming back

groom appears. If you study this chapter of the content and the context of

it, the point is that the temple would be destroyed. Who wants to

hear that? Certainly not the disciples that's been bragging on and saying, Hey,

this monumental landmark. We should just stand here in admiration, and you

know, we perceive to the Son of God. But hey, we'll go

over there. That's like some people today. Hey, man, we know

that church is being blessed. We know who could move a God's there,

and we know God speak of it. Hey, look at Grandfa's church up

the road. Hey you look at great Granddaddy's boot went up the road.

I said it recently in a sermon. Do y'all think John Wesley would be

welcoming the Methodist churches of today? Promly not even in the West End.

Holding his churches up today the church says, amen, thank you. Should

I keep preaching or should be stop? I know? Lowering closed quarters?

Did everybody wear in the order today? Anybody getting nervous? So why are

you nervous about the thief coming? Why are you so nervous? Because if

you're nervous, you're living in sin more than I could. If you're nervous,

and you spend every week in an hour trying to figure out when his

company is, because you're living in sin. So the Lord rebuked him who

says it's gonna be tore down. But brother, you know, my the

big picture was the Lord of the Tabernacle, the Lord of the Temple,

the Lord of New Jerusalem is standing right here. The Holy Ghost is here.

Church. The point is the temple will be rebuilt again. The Temple

has been rebuilt again, and next time it comes, Brother Tyler in to

be coming down from glory. And I'm a feeling of shadow as some of

you are falling asleep. But I'm telling you stay awake, stay awake.

That's the big picture. New Jerusalem is a reality. His return is a

reality. This world will be destroyed, but the big picture is New Jerusalem

thirty seven. This is what's been on my heart. I'm looking forward to

his return. And until then, as Charles Johnson and the Revivers used to

sing, I'll just keep on going. I'll just occupy until he comes.

I will maintain an awareness. Oh yes, I'll be. But as I

maintain that awareness, I must stay awake until he comes. We can be

sure to maintain an awareness and stay awake if we'll keep going to church,

if we'll keepful church attendance as a party in our life, if we'll keep

a daily Bible reading plan and prayer in our life, we can definitely maintain

an awareness. I'm not worried about the thief coming. If we're anticipating the

end of time, that is definitely an intimidating thought, is it not.

There also should be a quickening thought. It should be an exciting thought instead

of going, don't we should go? How to have any believe we're living

in the end of time? How many of you believe we're living in the

closing down to this age? But that doesn't make me nervous. I'm not

shaking my knees aren't buckling. That shouldn't cast shade on your peace of mind

or your joyous soul. But the truth, this is the wood. And

there's people in our churches that right there makes them nervous worldwide. As soon

as they hear that the Lord's coming, they're nervous. They won't sleep good

tonight. As soon as they get reminded that the Lord could come and they

would not be ready, they get nervous. Then why not get ready?

Then why not get ready? Awake unto righteousness and be ready. The thought

of the return of Christ brings me great peace, great comfort, great joy,

and great hope. It's like a spark to a power keg when we're

singing songs like soon and very soon we're going to see the King. One

particular brother I know, when he got diagnosed with a dreaded disease. People

thought that it would buckle his knees his faith. Instead, they said,

he threw both hands up to heaven. Brother Philip, I'm glad you didn't

take that drought. But he threw both hands up to heaven and said,

instead of saying, I believe God to heal me and give the miracle,

this brother said, well, good, I should be out of here about

two years. And because of that attitude, he died with that dreaded disease.

But he kept the faith and kept preaching. But he left behind us

of great people. But the thought of Jesus coming it ignites my faith.

It emboldens my stand and my testimony in it. But it does demand that

I made preparations. And that's who I'm dealing with tonight. Brothers, stare

it? Are you prepared? Are you staying away from who you need to

stay away from so that you could be ready? Matthew twenty five and four

said, but the wires took old in their vessels with their lambs, Brother

Jessic, could you come to the pen or please? The Bible readers know

this verse in its context very well. It's part of the parable of the

ten virgins. Five of them were wise, but five of them were foolish.

The foolish women were not promiscuous, they were not guilty of gross sin,

they were not liars, they were not thieves. They're represented by the

term virgin professing Christians, professor followers of Christ believers. And appears that every

one of these young women were excited about being a bride one day today,

ironically, interestingly, I had not put this together, but today I took

my daughter to David's bride Old Fort Myers and we picked up her bridal gain

And then tonight I'm preaching on the bride needs to stay awake, and the

bride needs to stay awake from others. You see my daughter and my brother

Jonath at this point. Now, other than a spousal, we expect her

to stay away from all others. Well, we expect her to stay awake

and to prepare. Could we stand tonight? I do feel a tenderness in

my heart tonight, just a a solmish soundness. And you can have that

too. You don't have to be trouble or perplaced. The scriptures go on

to say that fire the wise file or foolish. Are you prepared? I

didn't ask you. Have you been watching YouTube video? Have you been keeping

track of the earthquakes? Do you know the count of how many earthquakes has

taken place in the United States? Are foreign soul? I haven't asked you

that there's enough people and enough material resources to tell you what they think has

taken place? In Mark thirteen, Verse number thirty two it says no man,

no, not the angels which are in heaven either the Sun knows when

he shall hear them. It's unwise to spend countless hours binge watching faults,

YouTube, prophets and prophetcaus. We must be wise, people of the book,

people of the oil. We must have oil. We must have oil,

not only in our lamps, but in our vessels. These tim virgins,

they all took their lamps with them, Sister Howell, but only the

wise took oil in their vessels. They all took their lamps, and they

all had oil in their lamps. But only the five wives took all over

their vessel. Listen to everyone who saw these bridal candidates saw they were sincerely

desired to go into the chamber of the bridegroom. They were all gonna make

it. Everybody was so sure they had been hand picked, They have been

choke, they had been called, but they were unprepared. Well, you're

prepared. Why not tonight? Why don't we get packed up tonight? Why

don't we take care of business tonight? Why don't we put sin out of

our life tonight? Why don't we quit being scared of the thief? You

see everybody in the city streets. When they heard the voice of the bridegroom,

brother Jacob. They saw these birds of women scurrying about like rats,

running around excited. They could see the light emitting from the lamps. But

then brother Philip somebody would say, hey, it's split fifty to fifty.

Let's split fifty to fifty five. Of them seemed to be unsure now,

but their preparedness, they weren't sure their preparedness because there was a right awareness.

They did not maintain awareness. They tried brother and Roquet and stay awake

to watch sister woit And how many people are staying awake till two, three

and four in the morning on YouTube and then they're falling asleep and waking up

two hours later. Did he come? Did he come? I need to

text Pastor and hed text sister Howell. I remember living in misery like that.

I did live like that for about eighteen years. I remember wondering his

sister's staying, they're gonna come walking into church, his brother so and so

it gonna be at work today. There's a sweet spirit in this place.

There's salvation in this house tonight. You don't have to die lost and go

to hell. But you better stay away from certain things and stay awake spiritually.

While the bridegroom Terry, all of them slowbered and slept, And Mark

thirteen thirty six said, let's come, and suddenly he finds you sleeping.

Let's coming. Suddenly he finds you sleeping. How many of you have seen

people backslide late in life? It breaks my heart. It's like you serve

God all the years. You hear, Brother Jacob remind us a lot.

Don't backslide, don't lose out. He said it tonight. If you have

to serve him by yourself, it'll be worth it. The verse fire said,

you know not when the master cometh. And I want to serve notice

to every person of the sun of my voice, seventy of you here tonight.

I want to tell you something. You will never figure it out.

None of the bridal candidates were left in the dark altogether. They had their

limbs. You haven't been left in the dark altogether, because you've got the

lamp itself. You've got the old itself if you'll use it. But you

choose to live in darkness. And that's why you're scared of the thief.

But the thief is comonly's coming for the finest of jewels. You see you

have his word. Look at your neighbor right now and say, hey,

neighbor, you haven't arrived spiritually keep reading. That's wable. Do you feel

condemned right now because of the preaching of your neighbor. Apparently these five foolish

versions felt the same way. They had aligned themselves to their will and felt

that certain things were unnecessary instead of listening to the words of the bridegroom.

First, Desaloni is five one through fort said, he's coming as a thief

in the night. But you know what, as he comes, sister,

how he won't catch the faithful wise believers. I know my wife, I'm

confident of this. The Holy Gods is going to shake in her. He's

gonna quicken her, and she'll be looking. So she's listening, she's watching,

she's waiting a very email address, testify as or so. But what

about you? Will you be unaware and asleep? Will you be busy,

worse, working, gossiping, listening to the dirty jokes that are being told?

What if he comes right then? For some in this building, it's

okay if he comes right now. For some in this building. It's okay

if he comes right now, But why are you nervous because you don't know

where your oil is at? Are you confident that when he appears in the

eastern sky that you will go to meet him in that moment. I've seen

sister woot and shout over that. I've seen Sister Howell, Sister Walker,

Sister Hammond, many of the brothers shout over that. But then I've seen

others go right out the door. Over the years, they go home and

try to find something on YouTube that will comfort Let's hold them. Why don't

you turn from sin? Why haven't you crushed sin and used as fuel for

your lamb? I want us to bow our heads tonight. I feel so

good myself. I'm not worried about it. He's coming. I'm looking forward

to him. But if you're unsure that you're ready and you're not prepared,

with you leasure. But I know God wouldn't have given me this. But

there's one, there's two, is another three, So there's three people in

this building that acknowledge I don't know that I'm ready with the good news.

Is all you have to do is just make an altar let's just all come

around the platform. And I know the furniture is rearranged because of construction,

but let's just come around and pray and say God, I want to be

ready. I want to be ready, and I'm going to be ready.

I'm going to be ready, take the sin in my life and crush you

for the world, crush you all. Paw it goes how excited about his

coming charge It does to make me know that welcome his jewis, I welcome

his cold even so come quickly, Lord Jesus, those are the words of

John. I alive. Even so come quickly, Saints to God, He's

coming. He's come, Thank God, Thank God. Come talk to him.

Talk to the right room. Listen to him, police, listen,
