Amen, Praise the Lord. I too, thank the Lord for what we
-
have been feeling around this place tonight. It has been different. I'm sure
-
some of you are still recouping from the meeting. I hope you've been able
-
to rest. I'm sure those of you that took off for the meeting have
-
been back on the grindstone, turning that wheel just three hundred and sixty degrees.
-
You're walking away from the job, only to return there again the next
-
morning three hundred and sixty degrees. It's just the same routine, the same
-
routine for you homemakers as well, the same routine. But I know those
-
of you that took off for the meeting and had to go back to work,
-
and I know you must be tired. I do ask you to pray
-
for me tonight. The Lord does not do this to me very often,
-
but thirty minutes prior to this service starting, he whispered into my heart something.
-
Now you preachers know what that means. So I'm relying totally entirely upon
-
the Holy ghost and for those that are looking to criticize and find fault,
-
we always totally and entirely rely upon the Holy ghosts to help us it's His
-
words and it's not our words that we want you to hear. And I
-
want you to know though, what I'm saying is there will be very few
-
notes tonight, so we will be depending upon the Lord. We always depend
-
upon the Lord, and we never leave leaning heavy on the notes anyway.
-
But I believe God is going to speak to somebody in this building tonight.
-
It's not that I don't not have other things to preach. I have plenty
-
of sermons that God has given me to preach, and I'm telling you they
-
came straight out of the very from room of God, and I'm chumping at
-
the bid right. I want to bid to preach them. But God wants
-
to speak to somebody directly tonight. So preach a message the Holy Ghost titled
-
living for the Lifegive for living for the Lifegiver. I will never understand why
-
people struggle in serving the Lord. I will never be able to relate to
-
that, because the night I got saved, it was easy right then and
-
there, it was easy for me to serve the Lord. And Sister Irish
-
Woot, you've been saved now over thirty years, thirty five years, as
-
she says, she's never contemplated or considered turning back. I've been saved since
-
October nineteen ninety three, and there has never been one second, for one
-
moment in my walk with the Lord wherever I thought of turning loose of his
-
hand and walking away from him. I didn't say there hasn't been trying moments,
-
that there hasn't been testing trials. But I have never thought of turning
-
my back on the Lord. What I do when I see people turning their
-
back on the Lord? Our question, as Charles Spurgeon did, whether or
-
not they really had genuine salvation. Seriously, I've got to where I just
-
questioned that, because I'll say this, there is a spirit of righteousness.
-
It's not our righteousness, our righteousness that's felt the rags, but it's His
-
righteousness. And there is a spirit of holiness. And He will lead and
-
guide us into all truth. And he will lead us into that spirit of
-
righteousness, not self righteousness, but he will lead us into that right standing
-
with God, and he will lead us into a holiness lifestyle. Because Jesus
-
was not a hippie. Jesus has so many beliefs, but Jesus mandated that
-
the believer be holy, even as his father in heaven is holy. And
-
he also spoke to us of being perfect. Now, how did he speak
-
to them about that? What did he mean? He was speaking of them?
-
Would be being perfect morally? Right, being perfect morally. And I'll
-
want you to know in the Book of First Corinthians, we find some sins
-
that are listed there that are definitely sins that will keep people out of heaven.
-
And a true Christian, a pure vanilla gray, a modified blue ribbon
-
Christian, pure vanilla Christian, they will have no desire whatsoever to sin.
-
They will not commit sin habitually, they have no desire to displease their Lord.
-
And to be honest with you, it's really not even in them to
-
sin, because the addemic nature is still there, but it is not the
-
predominant nature in that individual, the nature of Christ. He becomes a new
-
creature. And so I've got to the place where I just simplify and say,
-
if they're struggling loving the world enough to do what he says, if
-
they're struggling to obey God, if they're struggling to cease from sinning, if
-
they're struggling, then I've just concluded they're not saved, And I'm not there,
-
judge. I just know God's not the author of confusion. And I
-
know that anybody that I've ever seen that I've had confidence in their experience.
-
They may have been made in Christ for a little while, but after a
-
year or two they became mature in Christ and they were able to walk in
-
the spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh. I'm just telling you,
-
God knows those that are His. How many of you ever seen a
-
baby that was born that favored the Father? Oh, yes, there's some
-
of you. Your child favors you, and God's children will all favor him.
-
I believe it was Charles Spurgeon one time that was questioned because of the
-
size of his congregation. He had quite a few members there, and I'm
-
telling you, brother Jesse, that I guess the Metropolitan Tabernacle was quite large,
-
and so because of the size of the congregation. Of course, there
-
were just numerous people there from all walks of life, people with various occupations,
-
people of various persuasions, and there were some possessors and some professors,
-
and there were people that were being critical and judging the ministry of Charles Spurgeon
-
and they said, well, you've got a certain amount of men in your
-
church that we see down at the pub over the weekend, but they appear
-
in your presence and in your church on Sunday. What do you think of
-
that? Charles Spurgis said, they may profess to be Christians, but they
-
do not possess Christ and their being. They may professor and proclaim to be
-
Christians, but he says, I questioned that, and I would just say,
-
they need to meet Jesus, fall in love with Jesus, and they
-
will be drunkards. Drunkards no more, and drunkards no more. Let him
-
that has sinned go and sin no more. And so I'm going to give
-
you a little bit of the contextual basis of what God's been dealing with me
-
from the thirty minute mark part of the service tonight. It's like God showed
-
me that there's somebody in this building saying I'm having a hard time serving Jesus.
-
Let me be clear, get saved. If you're contemplating and considering backsliding,
-
you have not been saved anyway. It's not backslighting. I'm asking you
-
right here tonight to fall in love with Jesus again. We're gonna preach a
-
message the Holy Ghost titled Living for the Lifegiver, Living for the Life Giver.
-
Brother Nathaniel, Romans, Chapter number five and twelve. Brother Jesse Romans,
-
Chapter number five and fifteen, if you will turn with me tonight,
-
beloved to second Corinthians, may I direct your attention of the fifth chapter and
-
the fourteenth through the seventeenth verse. Did you enjoy the convention? Did God
-
bless you in a special way? Oh? He blessed me in a special
-
way. I'm sure. Did appreciate the preaching of the brothers. I appreciated
-
all the singing, all the instrument playing, all the musicians. It was
-
just all wonderful. Praise the Lord. Now we can recoup for the next
-
six months and recover and do it again this time next year. Praise the
-
Lord. Don't shout too loud over that we go from sacrifice to sacrifice,
-
right from every act of selflessness to another act of selflessness. How many of
-
you know Jesus wasn't selfish, He was selfless. How many of you know
-
the Christian will not be selfish, They will be selfless? Amen? All
-
right, Brother Nathaniel, Romans, Chapter number five, verse number twelve.
-
Wherefore as by one man centered sin entered into the world, and death by
-
sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
-
That is a powerful verse of scripture right there, brother Jesse, which
-
you read Romans five and fifteen. But not as the offense, so also
-
is the free gift. For if through the offense of one many be dead,
-
much for the grace of God, and the gift, by grace which
-
is by one man, Jesus Christ hath abounded unto many. Oh, I
-
thank God for that one man. Oh, you're struggling with sin because of
-
the abdemnic nature that's in you, because of one man named Adam, and
-
because of one woman named Eve. That's why you're struggling with sin. But
-
if you'll fall in love with the man I'm gonna preach about tonight, the
-
one these two brothers just read about, you will have no problem whatsoever ceasing
-
them from sin. Let's stand and read our golden text tonight, shall we?
-
Sac of Coristians chapter number five, beginning with verse number fourteen. The
-
Bible said, for the love of Christ constraineth us, because we thus judge
-
that if one died for all, then we're all dead, And that he
-
died for all, that they which live should not hits forth live unto themselves,
-
but unto Him which died for them and rose again. Wherefore, hits
-
forth know we no man after the flesh. Yang though we have known Christ
-
after the flesh, Yet now hens forth know we him no more. Therefore,
-
if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old
-
things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new, And these
-
the verse follow. He does not say, and after I've had a few
-
bumps in the road out backslide, after I've had a few bumps in the
-
road, I fall out of love with Jesus. It does not say that
-
the problem is people have not become a new creature, again, putting our
-
focus on our golden text, verse number fifteen. And that he died for
-
all that brought there all to make you love him, And that he died
-
for all living, for the lifegiver, And that he died for all,
-
that they which live should not henceforth live under themselves, but under Him which
-
died for them and rose again. If you fall in love with him,
-
you will have no problem whatsoever living for him. You'll have no problem whatsoever
-
living for the one that died for you. I pray that you stretch your
-
hand towards Heaven ask the Lord to anoyt me here tonight. Heavenly Father,
-
you know it's been a couple of weeks since we preach for your Lord.
-
Lord. I know that my voice is probably not gonna hold up without your
-
help. Lord, would have several preachers come by this way, and we
-
have preferred them, and they have done us a wonderful job and been annoying
-
another. Lord, I pray that you'll give me the strength and the energy
-
and the voice that I need to deliver this message tonight. But knowing this,
-
servant of the Lord, I prayed nor said, I guarded in my
-
mouth, and help me to say the things that you would have me to
-
say, nothing more than less. And have not the ears of this my
-
people, that they not hear what is the spirit of God says under the
-
church, Not of our word God, but if your words lifegiver Lord,
-
these words their spirit and their life. I pray that these sayings would not
-
be in the mind only or gonna win one ear and out the other,
-
but that they would go below the shoulders, saturating the spirit and the heart.
-
I pray God that we would depart this place shortfully and not sorromply.
-
And those that are struggling, I pray that they will leave full of life,
-
because you came to give them an abundance of life. We thank you
-
for that. We praise you for it, Jesus Nate, and the church
-
says, Amen, look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor,
-
I'm glad I'm in the house of God tonight. Amen. Our text is
-
found in a New Testament book of the Holy Bible. Second Corinthians is one
-
of my favorite epistles of the Great Apostle Paul. How many of you appreciate
-
the Apostle Paul. I'm looking forward to meeting Father Abraham one day because I
-
do revere him, and I hold him in high regard, the highest of
-
regard, because he is truly the Father of the faith. But I also
-
hold the Great Apostle Paul in highest regard, even though if you were to
-
look at his resume, you would see a particular line item that has been
-
scratched out, and it would read like this, formerly a murderer, I've
-
done things that I am ashamed of but I still hold him in the highest
-
regard as one of the fathers of the Early Church. One of the faralding
-
fathers of faith is the Great Abraham, and one of the faralding fathers of
-
the New Testament or Early Church, is the Apostle Paul. And we find
-
here in this second Epistle to the Church at Corinth, we find that there
-
is a gathering of believers, people that have been converted from paganism unto Christianity.
-
Some of them, no doubt had ancient it to day is some and
-
going on into perfection into Christianity, while others are fresh out of paganism.
-
They stand here being participants on this new religion called Christianity. And some of
-
them would soon find out that participating in a worship service is not enough,
-
spectating is not enough. They would find out that they needed to have more
-
than another religion. They needed to have a personal relationship with this Jesus Christ
-
that the great apostles of the Early Church were preaching about. That's the same
-
thing that we're pushing for here tonight. Among seventy five people in this building.
-
A sense that there's between three to five that are not blood off born
-
again of God. That with Professor and say, my relationship with the Lord
-
is my primary relationship. I appreciate Sister Howell, her and I have a
-
wonderful marital relationship. I'm telling you, if there's ever been soul mates in
-
this world, Sister Howell and I are soul mats. If there's ever been
-
a couple that was in love with God and in love with one another,
-
and Sister Howell and I, but I want you to know that our life
-
and our lostyles do not hinge upon one another. It was only this week,
-
Sister Howell, when next door and she began to talk to the Lord
-
about the burden of a soul. I wonder hem me in this building tonight
-
find yourself at a midweek service and you're feeling guilty already because you have I
-
talked to your Lord. I could ask you the question how long has it
-
been since you've been angry? That some of you would say, well,
-
this was only an hour ago. I was so frustrated and so angry because
-
something didn't go away, as somebody didn't treat you just right. But I
-
could ask the question, how long has it been since you talk to your
-
savior. How long has it been since you talked to the substitutionary sacrifice himself,
-
that one that activated Calvary's code and pushed you out of the way and
-
said, I will pay that Siddick for them to be love it. That's
-
the problem tonight for about three to five you don't really love him. I
-
know you're stuggling to live for him. And because you're struggling to live for
-
him, you can rest assured knowing this, you will not die. I
-
want you to know you must first be able to live for him before you
-
can have an assurance and a peace of life that you've got what it takes
-
her to die for him. And there could come a time in these United
-
States of America when people such as you and I have to die from what
-
we believe. And so these Christians would soon find out that being like Paul
-
and Peter and James and John, they're not playing church, they're not having
-
church. They are the church. And whenever the sort of heroin was thrown
-
out of this cavern and one of the pillars of the New Testament Church had
-
his head cut off and he died as a murder. You don't change he
-
died by the edge of Herod, saying they realize this is no game.
-
We're not on a playground. Were own a battle felly. I'm sure it
-
was very sobering for some to realize the very actor of what a baptism that
-
could be a death sentence for some of the very active attending her local assembly
-
with tons of god work gathered together could be a death sentencer for them.
-
But you see, according to these two epistles, first a second Corinthians,
-
we find that these Corinthian believers were excited about their conversion. And and I
-
find where they were sending a text messager or writing a letter to the apostle
-
Paul or some of the bishop or some of the leader of the church and
-
saying, I am reconsidering. You know, most of these people were making
-
their calling and their lesson. Sure they only can't de battered. I say
-
that they tried to love Todder as much as he loved him. We know
-
that's an impossibility for any person, even the spirit pill believer. But one
-
of the things I love about the Holy Ghossa living in side of the believer,
-
the spirit pill believer has an unbelievable ability to return dates her to the
-
Giver of life, they're able to praise him adequately. There's a lot of
-
times in what I'm struggling her during the time of prayer, that I seem
-
to be tied in off her the horns of hell. To keep my focus
-
hold the Lord, I ask the Holy Gursa to help me in a scene.
-
I ask the Holy Gursa to help me sufficiently and adequately praise the Lord
-
the way he deserves to be praised. When I start rehearsing, there in
-
my spirit that in my inter being my Sarah, and even in my mind
-
about the good things of God, most importedly, when I revisit Calvrin,
-
that I can, Amason of Calbry, that I see her what my way
-
done for me. I have been probable whatsoever and all pleasing Man, the
-
life giver. How many of you a little while ago, these brothers a
-
rich scripts and talk to about all people have seined now and how I people
-
are have been in the grip of retalerance of delta. I'm gonna tell your
-
I Falter about a message I preached her some years ago. Better Samuel Howell
-
hit the altar. After that messager, I talked about it, this assassin
-
that I won't ever in this building and know that the wages of sin is
-
damn. You think you're a cooler. It's treating you badly. You're not
-
treating yourself dead either, because the payday that you're gonna receive for those sin
-
is dad. And I'm telling somebody tonight you need to stop taking it about
-
yourself and start unsaving to treat your part the giver her alive. Ask you
-
to pray for me tonight. I feel like God's gonna help us. You
-
will remember Romans that said that all have sin that have fallen and short by
-
the glory of God. Tonight, Sister how and I got to the church
-
one hour and ten minutes early, only to remember that we had left our
-
keyring at the house. He had to go back to the house. At
-
about thirty five minutes later. We got here for the second time. We
-
needed a key to the door. There was not one handset that was not
-
locked. There was not one that open that was not locked. The building
-
was sealed tighter, every door was shut, and every locker was turned in
-
the lock and position. Now, then I watched you. Then there was
-
a key that I could get in my hand man, and we unlocked each
-
and every door. And I let somebody in this building the nerve the deal
-
there has a steting to key her that will open here and unlocking every sole
-
there. It will open there and unlocked it and that party temper, I
-
said, down there, how's the starting the key to you? And it
-
will come from you one day. There ain't gonna take that soul from that
-
body. They've been opening up that body, and the soul will retain the
-
God to be sized up, to be chuged. What will you be sized
-
up? A guess her? What will you be touched or gifts up?
-
You'll be touching. Let just look dear your life, you'll be touching.
-
Let just a live of life you be touching? What just a btural life?
-
I'm telling you they did about little world. It's doing a focus on
-
the word of God. This ain't no shout, missles Din. I know
-
that every person in this building has at some point sin. All all the
-
inclusivity of that all half sin. But you'll notice the writer did not say
-
all are sin, you nor any soul. All are constantly sinning. But
-
they all must wake up in the morning expecting to be sitting listen. There
-
is a holy wrath that he makes from her the body of God. There
-
is a spiritual emotion that God feels towards the evildoer, towards the unrighteous,
-
towards the rebellion, sir, towards the stunning, towards the wickedness. It's
-
not only the hands of the of coursing doctor that God hates her. He
-
hates the hands and the woman with holds praise there with hoods time, there
-
will holds calling and is do here you realize we will hold down You're very
-
real soul. God is upset. The miners said that God is angry with
-
the wicked everything. Then all said, sidnel, we to lift up our
-
heart. We're the hands somebody's withholding from God more than tith, more than
-
praise, more than thanks, more than gratitude. You're withholding God's hand.
-
God can move in your life, but you are literally pushing the hand of
-
God away from your life. Then the sin will come reach towards me.
-
You're withholding the hand of God from your life. Oh yes, their everlasting
-
armor of God has them reaching down to route to the ration under to ration.
-
Lets you know want care to the racing after generation. That's ours pistol,
-
the hand of tad a way then a telling somebody to night. You
-
ought to be thinking God, it's a soul, that he's not in hell.
-
You want to be thinking God that you are not to experiencing in turn
-
to death. He he loves you. Do you love him enough? Do
-
you care about him? Jesus said, if you love that spouse for it,
-
then you love him. You're not worth it. You need to be
-
careful turning your nose up to God and that to like God. He's at
-
that special significant someone in your life. God will never be known as a
-
significant other. Good will always be known as the significant naught. And if
-
you put him first time, and you seek him first, and you make
-
him turstal. You don't have a marriage, not cheer Me and Charney,
-
you don't have children, not cheer Me and Cheerny hat, then you are
-
owing to touch on not Cherny they Tarny have. But I want you to
-
know that we're not serving God because he's blessed us the way he has he
-
has blessed us. I'm served to him because He's the giver a life.
-
Love it the lifegiving little for the life Giver. Why would I not serve
-
him? Why would I not live for him? Why would alcohol be a
-
priority in anyone's life? Why would communication be a priority in anyone's life.
-
It was a priority in the Corinthians life prior to their conversion. Prior to
-
their conversion, they had issues such as this. Modern preachers have coined the
-
terminology that one of their phrases is this, Cardinal Christians, there is no
-
animal. You are either a new creature or you are not the creator power
-
that David requested out. The Lord is still the creative power that every sinner
-
requests when they come to the altar. The pressure be estreme as Kadred.
-
David sent perish man with his supine and I shall be clean. And David,
-
that have been writing the songs in twenty twenty four he is said,
-
perish man with God's super and I shall be clean. Now I'm telling you
-
some of you herbody picking about your soup, the Bible smoker of a pool
-
of soper n my copet. You've got to want to be clean. I
-
must cut somebody love here. Then, the reason why you're not living for
-
the lifegiver is because you're not willing to body yourself. You gotta lose your
-
right gonna. Jesus said, you gotta be willing to love me more than
-
father and mother. And if you're not willing to do that, then you're
-
not worthy. Peter was willing to forsake y'all to follow Jesus. The end
-
result, we could conclude that his wife kept serving Jesus because we find an
-
instance where Jesus was requested to go pray for his mother in law. How
-
many of y'all feel like Jesus would have been praying for Peter's mother in law
-
if Peter's wife had left the house. It's highly unluckily that missus Peter left
-
Peter because he had been following Jesus. That I want to say, if
-
you are trying to keep somebody and they're not willing to keep Jesus from he
-
knew how to just left them walk away. You ought to learn this phrase.
-
Trudball and good Reddy. Now that's what I'm the Hem was instructing of
-
the Lord to do the haard. He's start going ahead at the ham that
-
sin for they don't go road because that accidental and not mistaken should not keep
-
you from lot time. I say when we do, y'all, Jesus,
-
that accident, that a mistaken will not keep you from being who want to
-
be a god? Well, I've got an unbeliever in his pause. It's
-
an accident. I married him out of sin. So what if you love
-
Jesus, that won't keep you from serving Jesus. If you care deeply for
-
the one to die that you might live, that won't keep you from living
-
for Jesus. I remember one particular Sunday afternoon, I had to make a
-
decision. Is it Jesus or charity. I made the decision that's gonna be
-
Jesus, whether charity goes with me or not. You see, there's twenty
-
six reasons why I want to thank God tonight and then for Jesus, but
-
they are not the primary reason. For those of you that tell went over
-
your head. There's twenty six who are relatives of a mind direct deceit.
-
My sister Howell and eyes in this feeling and nia that could have never been,
-
and I steal would be in love who Jesus, just the whom you
-
will remember this. Several years ago, I felt like God told me to
-
ask the Methyl congregation and this was when we probably had thirty or so people,
-
I'd say, can you say right now I am madly, lovely,
-
crazy in love with Jesus. There were some in this meetle and a brother
-
be fraid that could not do it. And I remember being shocked as God
-
revealed to me their heart by them not being willing to say that. And
-
then, of course there was something they said in the same way they sent
-
it to their high school girlfriend when they wanted something. They told her they
-
loved her just because they who wanted something. Let's leave it above little kid's
-
heads. Are you not listening to me? That's the oldest lie. Him
-
the book Girls said, he the man tells you he loves something because he
-
wants something. I don't know whether that's t trauma that I want to tell
-
somebody. I don't come in this den and tell her they give her life
-
that I love him because I need a he he cause I needed the same
-
thing I love how A cause that hon that conviction. Then't me talk to
-
Nante the creator color may Man, who oh that I am, Well,
-
they'reever hope to be. It's not because of my daughter and brother. That's
-
because my brother say that he said these people could have heard discerning of Elijah
-
held on halting between two pigeons, But elive to the prophet is not alive
-
in their time period, and neither is he alive in our time period.
-
And Apostle Paul that was preaching to the Corinthian people, he is not alive
-
in our time period. But the messages of the ministers of yesteryear is the
-
same connect as it was then. You see, these people were definitely friel
-
and happy to be new creatures. They had been radically and gloriously transformed dearing
-
their salvation experience. Jesus had rescued them from idolatry. Jesus had delivered them
-
from disobedience and their burdens, their addictions, and their week and lost the
-
house of more consequences, positive consequences of the blood bath or come on now,
-
I remember seeing out it's being deliver They did not even have to request
-
addiction. They can't have to request was help me to love you the way
-
that I should and be lord of my life and the all of man of
-
consequence of it. Wassap deliverates. Oh my god, I've never heard anybody
-
just coming to the altar and saying God, what you deliver me from my
-
alcoholism? Just primarily and get what they needed. Those that get what they
-
needed, right, Sister Lutness said, over thirty one years, Lord Costa
-
Hall was saying, right now, over thirty one years, Hey, we
-
came the altar and said, I'm sick and tired the way that I've been
-
living. That I need a change in my life and that will include a
-
transformation. And the consequences of it were deliverance, the shage, the change,
-
and the shackles were busting. That spiritual metamorphosis that took place was just
-
as great as the natural metamorphois as it takes place when a worm becomes a
-
butterfly, when a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. You see, these people were
-
so excited about their newfound relationship with an individual that loved them, with an
-
individual that could feel their pain, that could associate himself to their burdens and
-
their cares and his life, and that he would give them an assurance that
-
he would be with their present and every situation. I would label these people
-
as being very zealous. Wouldn't y'all say that this was a revival church When
-
you read these two epistles. You'll find that they were very spiritual. You
-
weren't having to beg them to seek the holy ghosts. You weren't having to
-
beg them to pray in fast. That's what happened when I got saved.
-
The love for this world was gone right then. And there there was no
-
coaching sessions from the pastor. There was no counseling sessions from the pastor.
-
Nobody was having to handout offers to keep them coming back. Nobody was having
-
to help me take my bill off. I'm telling you I could have slept
-
under the bridge and joy the spenders, how the Lord, and enjoying the
-
glories of God. There, My God, you're not getting yourself. The
-
church is more than a social time, and the church it's more of the
-
words just come from religious practice, from religious structor five you be throwing come
-
to serve them every God that is the killer of our life. I thank
-
Tod that I am no longer under the pit. Took the dam pray for
-
me on. We got this thirty minutes before the service. You see,
-
these precious people were gilt free, shane breed. They had been in temples
-
where there was prostitution all throughout the corridors of those pagan temples. They had
-
been exposed to homosexuality, they had been exposed to effeminine clear spirits, they
-
had been exposed to all things that stubbornness springs, all things at rebellion brings.
-
They had been idolaters. They in fact, it's almost toe curling when
-
you read exactly from where these people came. And there's some of you.
-
You come out of fundamental churches. Some of you come out of churches where
-
you were taught the right way, and you act like you can't live right.
-
The Bible talked about them being a great cloud of witnesses in that celestial
-
city. And you say, I can't live right. I don't want to
-
live right. I'm struggling living right. The devil's fighting why I'm living right?
-
There aren't they're saying, oh, you ain't God's child, because make
-
no mistake of battle that we never wrote it to napota an effect from the
-
faith. So this is a zealous church where there's family gathered and they're enjoying
-
toe tapping services. Jesus Christ himself singing him. They're singing in themselves and
-
songs and hims and spiritual songs. They're singing and making melody in this power
-
pact and spirit feeling and spirit led church. And after looking through these two
-
epistles, though, Brother Nathaniel, I see that the apostle Paul had noticed
-
that they had fallen into a trap of comparing themselves to others. You can
-
point to your coworker and say they profess to be a Christian, but I'm
-
living better than them. You need to stop focusing on you're co worker and
-
even that person sitting next to you on the teo. Because the Boble said,
-
when you compare yourself by yourself, you are a wiser in doing so,
-
because you're supposed to put yourself to the powder that on the water good
-
and teases himself. So these zealous Christians began to compare themselves to others,
-
and they seemed to find themself training their eyes upon others who they were churching
-
with. When the church would gather together, perhaps somebody that had been recently
-
saved from paganism had come in. They would look around and Brother Jesse,
-
perhaps there was somebody that was not blood ball, blood washed. Oh,
-
come on now, and they would see the way they were dressing and the
-
way that they were acting, and they would want to line themselves up.
-
We got or perhaps they would say, well, I'm good enough because I'm
-
better than them. That's why a lot of the nominal churches that call themselves
-
holiness have come to It's that mindset and that methodology. They feel like because
-
they're better than the Presbyteria or the luther or Lutheran of the Catholic. They
-
feel like because their Church of God or the Assembling God or independent Holiness,
-
that they must be okay, Oh my God in Heaven, you can't disregard
-
the words of the Bible and point as somebody else has pussle. Example,
-
they say, because they're better than them, you're okay. You messing yourself
-
by the Bible. I thank God for the mere ministry of the Bible,
-
and I read the Bible. It's better than a looking glass that shows me
-
my neighbor. I'm telling you, the mere ministry of the Bible. It's
-
better than you minded yourself and compare us with a neighbor. Well, I'm
-
no longer having a six pack. Now I'm only having one. Get saved.
-
Well, I'm no longer smoking a whole bunch of joints. I've just
-
spoken one on the weekend to b better, get saved, get born again,
-
while no longer drinking eventually and getting drunk. I'm having a social drink
-
just so I want to stick out like a sore thumb. Get saved.
-
You see those people begin to look at others. But may I say,
-
when one begins to look at others and they begin to base how they live
-
their life by what they see others do, and they're as soon to be
-
a problem. That's one of the things that a lot of pastors have missed
-
today. They look at the Holiness Church Houp the Road and the Nominal Church
-
of Hop the Road whenever they had seen them in the Chicken House on Sunday
-
afternoon, and they say, well, I'm glad I'm not like this song
-
that's the prayer of self, not sus percy. I'm lied on my like
-
that way. We must be doing something right. No, if you're doing
-
it, we're doing at all. I don't care how they're doing it.
-
Huh. Well, Jesus, I feel the Holy Girls are out there.
-
Look at your neighbor and say, hey, neighbor, don't ever take your
-
eyes off of Jesus all right, and take your eyes off of that neighbor.
-
That's how these people got trouble. They got to looking at their neighbor.
-
It is true that some of these people developed an inferiority complex heaven,
-
if you've ever seen somebody dealing with that, dealing with an inferiority complex is
-
definitely a very serious issue to have to deal with them. But we're also
-
tying there's some spirit filled believers that are just speaking in tongues insistently to the
-
point that you can't even hardly have a normal worship service that's in order.
-
And yes, it is true and at times somebody is speaking in tongues.
-
It can be in order, but it can also be done out of order.
-
The apostle Paul and set things in order. He said, I speak
-
and talk to Lord than you are. But you will ply that he did
-
not leave us an epistle with a bunch of chimber jabber or a bunch of
-
heavenly language. There the sipper ones in the church, for those that are
-
saved, cannot understand. Oh, come on now, I'm telling you you
-
can have her a superiority disorder. We can see right now that there are
-
people. They're so good and they're so holy, it doesn't matter what the
-
Bible says. They're pointed brother Nathaniel, their pointed sister Rachel, and they're
-
calling it holier than now. But these people must be even home there,
-
the mother Nathaniel, her sister Rachel, because they can live locked and they're
-
well, and supposing that still be saved, that live locked to dead rock,
-
but still they sanctifiy live lo to them and still be stupid. Here
-
they must need us up, not just peosees the holier than mine. No
-
requirement for sacrifice, no requirement for humiliation, no requirement for hubility, a
-
superiority superiority disorder. We can see right here the formation of the Big Eye
-
and the Little U club. Right here in this book we find the clique,
-
the Big Eyes, and we find another clique, the Little Used,
-
And they get in that trouble because they get the minds off of Jesus,
-
and they get their eyes off of Jesus, and they're tall out of love,
-
some of them, not all of you, but they're falling out of
-
love with Jesus. Listen, the reason why we continue to stand for holiness
-
the way we do is not because it makes us popular, not because it
-
makes us feel good. The other night, in praying for some of them,
-
that I had to stand for holiness in front of Brother Nathaniel witnessed me
-
weeping. There's not many times so that I have walked away weeping, but
-
that particular service have wept for their soul because I realize they believe the lie,
-
and a short delusion has come upon them, and they feel like just
-
because they're better than most or better than some, they must be okay,
-
oh, come on, now, you're better than some and better than most,
-
it's not enough. Our righteousness is as filthy. Right, well,
-
we must be doing something right. Because we have the word holiness on the
-
marquis. We must be doing something wrap. Because we had the word Assembly
-
on the marquis. We must be doing something right because we had the praise
-
or the name of the organization Church of God on the marquis. That does
-
not mean anything. God could have put an inscription over holiness all that marquis
-
assembled, that God Church of God, Presbyteria luther Church. God could have
-
put an inscription over that that says it could God? And if God's the
-
only one that sees it that the hand ritting is on the side or the
-
handwritings on the wall, and nobody else can see it, but God nevertheless
-
it is written. So, sister Root. Some thought they were better because
-
they possessed spiritual gifts. But if they didn't have a holiness lifestyle or a
-
separated or a sanctified lifestyle, if they weren't living righteous lives. For those
-
who despise the word holiness, some of the nominal churches despise the holiness people
-
using that word holiness. And for some of them that despise the word holiness,
-
let's just say for those that despise righteous living, for those that despise
-
sactified living, for those that despise being set apart, those that despise being
-
separated. Hey, they thought they were better than because they could speak in
-
tongues. They thought they were better than some because they had spiritual gifts.
-
How many of this feeling possessed spiritual gifts? Quite a few of you do.
-
I've seen that. I've seen them, manfest Thank God for them spiritual
-
gifts. But do you know why you were giving them spiritual gifts to glorify
-
Jesus had to help the church had to advance the kingdom and to praise our
-
Lord and to be a blessing to other He gave it to us, didn't
-
they. He gave them to us. We didn't give them to ourselves.
-
The kids that we possess are for us to be a blessing to others,
-
not only to ourselves. That's why we live holy, because we want to
-
be a blessing to others. Well. The gable that some of these people
-
were feeling like as long as they had it, it's enough. What God
-
knows my heart, God knows I talk tongues God. But does that little
-
boy know that you're chind of God? And you love that little boy not?
-
But before you think about that, do you love your Jesus enough?
-
We're gonna listen, no brood of Jesus flowing and when ne Us, no
-
holy goes showing. Joseph had enough integrity not to disappoint his time. David
-
had enough integrity and righteousness to feel guilty, although he lost the king and
-
could have covered his sad so deep that nobody would have cared. That's all
-
tid it. But Davis are creating me a clean hole, thank God,
-
and renew a rock spirit within me. I'm not trying to prove it on
-
the steer Outlet be within me. And if you've got it within, you
-
have a sap on that steering. Brother Johnny Larrymore took a crack at some
-
of y'all this past week. Brother Timothy Grant took a couple of cracks at
-
y're in this past week. I was going in a different direction today,
-
and God's put to me thirty is before this service started to life. He
-
made it clear to me in six months time you want him to be in
-
church if you don't fall in love with Jesus. In one particular instance,
-
there was a time that people's speech betrayed them, and several different instances and
-
accounts. One account in the Old Testament sibil Eth or shibil Eth, and
-
then also Peter, while warming his hands by the world fire, so to
-
speak, his speech betrayed him. When you're on the job, it tells
-
people who is your God, and it tells who is your father. Then
-
it tells who you belong to. Now I'm a feel liberty of my soul
-
and preached to you tonight. God gave you them spiritual gifts, So why
-
are you having a problem living for him. If he is the giver of
-
gifts, and he's liberally gave them to you, then why in the world
-
would you be struggling to serve the Lord If you're such a possessor of the
-
gifts. It's because you ain't really packing it right. It's because you're a
-
professor and not a possessor. Because it doesn't matter if you're going to Nero's
-
chopped block or if you're going to the ace hardware in the bell, you
-
will have no problem. What's so, whenever you live and die, you
-
will have no problem. What's on a standing call for Jesus. If you're
-
a child of God, it's time that we settle it right here, Brother
-
Grant said Sunday night, it's time that we stop doing things backwards. I
-
said it a little while ago. Most of them that got born again didn't
-
come down here and say God, I'm having a hard time putting bilk in
-
my baby's bottles and filling the basket full of baby's diapers and buying baby food.
-
I'm having a hard time getting enough of marijuana. I'm having a hard
-
time getting off a drug that's using God, that's saying I love you.
-
God say you can get something. But whenever you fall in love with the
-
one that died for your soul, ever justice demandtainment for sin, when Justice
-
made inquisition for blood, because without the shedding of blood, there is no
-
remission of sin. When God's fiery eyes got angry with wicked me the wicked,
-
when God's count kids and visage change because of the rebellion and the pride
-
of Lucifer, And when Lucifer calls Adam and Eve to stumble and the triple
-
and God got upset with him, And when God got upset with King,
-
and God has got upset with you? Do you not realize the fact that
-
the hand of God would be reaching past your significant other and distresses somebody because
-
he loves her soul, because God will be the one watching when you are
-
so burn so for an eternative rather nowhere around, My God, God you
-
want to come for would not take me around? And you're better now,
-
Let's take that carl Is out here? Can we return escaped? We're not
-
promised tomorrow. So many girls have died in the arms of lovers, not
-
considering that Deliver himself had a Lifetipper himself had his arms opened, Wild had
-
his hand outstretched all for tim or fly. The marriage it lasted a measly
-
fifty years, for a tenth of things. For maybe a military relationship that
-
lasts eighty years. What about eight million years from now? We used to
-
sing the song a lot hester year thirty something years ago. Where me,
-
where will you be one billion years from now? All the money in this
-
world, it's not nearly so empticing, And now it is it when we
-
consider all things, all things concerned. I should have knew the Holy Ghost
-
has slowed us down. The doctor reads book Morning sold us on the threshold
-
of return, door that leads to the lake of fire. But I'm looking
-
at others. I'm improving. It's not enough. I see these preachers,
-
I see their antics and their tactics. I listen to what they're saying.
-
Sometimes the congregations they're still preaching at the same church they were preaching to twenty
-
years ago and twenty years ago. That gave us the excuse after them preaching
-
for three to five years twenty years ago, after preaching the same believers three
-
or five years, they said they're growing in grace, they're babes in Christ,
-
and they still look just this world and twenty years later as they did
-
back then, and some of them look worse. Just because you can measure
-
yourself by the church up the road, that does not mean your measures up
-
to the standard, because we don't set the standard Jesus Days, and there's
-
more than just an outward external standard to be considered up for consideration as a
-
temperament change, an attitude change. Behave your changes. Things that you once
-
love. You should start hating things that you hate right now. You should
-
start nothing. Whenever they don't have a desire to come back to church,
-
sys to looting, and we're having to beg them to get their work schedules
-
change. I may there's a lot of people in this building that does not
-
have to work on Sunday and Wednesday rais ahead. There's seventy five people in
-
this building right here Europe, right now. I think there's only a handful
-
of you that's ever told me your bosses were giving you a hard time about
-
working on Sunday. And most of the time if you put your finger on
-
the pulse. Historically, as a pastor, I have found that it's usually
-
a weak Christian that's not serious about their faith it's not all that interested that
-
being in church, or it's an employer that is deliberately pullying them. But
-
I'm going to tell you, if you love the giver of life and you
-
want to live for the life giver, you'll do lots as to how and
-
I did for brother Cheerremiah when the devil was trying to take him out of
-
church, I said, boy, you missed too many Sundays. We better
-
get the fasten and pray them or you're going to lose your soul. Do
-
y'all remember them days the devil was trying to take Jeremiah Tyler out of here.
-
You know what we did. We fasted and we prayed until Heaven change
-
their work schedule or change their job. It does not do us a bit
-
of good to say it's not working out for me, rising not working out
-
to me? Where you got the power of God on your side here?
-
If you're a child of God, If you're a child of God, think
-
I been f If you're a child of God, you'll have your problem saying
-
I ain't gonna miss a Sunday. Believe you'll make sure you're working at Momber
-
You're let's see you're working on Tuesday. You'll make sure you're working on wisdom.
-
PRIs you're working on a coaster. You're lets see you're walking on father,
-
What lets you're working on? Say the Bible saying six days? But
-
a man of that fuck if you ain't working, if you ain't out of
-
us high to provide to that wife you're rushing to take to tell you're roster.
-
I got a tat no less up to the earth. You can come
-
in your road. Oh you won't he you ben t talking on his Oh
-
you're welcome. What's all talking? Lo the w nasty, disgusting? Just
-
think of their lazy posts for a Christian. You're sorry, God fast about
-
the tail time? If I try to draw to make confy's good, tall
-
and love he treats us on the lame trainer You see us with they do
-
who is in the world. Pray that trap down, Pray that playing race
-
down. The reason why don't have to finance the problem is because if always
-
had a problem. We're timing you saw you know, always a trouble who
-
robbin and raper? God, I love you to be one. I will
-
if you make five hundred dollars a week twenty five dollar time. Don't tell
-
it. That's the spirit of international supply. But I don't count because it's
-
a a clima of the Bible. Are tied because I love you, he
-
said the pastor your first Financially it chack me. I believed in tithing when
-
I satigue your old Do you need to fall in love with Jesus? You
-
need to live for the lack of the one that died for you. We
-
all love him enough for that. I'll try and pray at his fee weekly
-
and say thank you for dying for me. The reason why you're having financial
-
problems is because you never fully died. Well, that's what went on.
-
There will be a financial curse. Go ahead and do it your way,
-
and God's gonna do it his woman, against his willing and against his wish
-
and against the design of the Calvern code. He will kick the goats,
-
and in the wake of pil he'll center the chap for the retail, he'll
-
separate it and he will come her purchase car. Telling you, God knowstones
-
he that took him at his word, and I grateful for him, dire
-
for them. My ultimate praise is it that he delivered me from some habitual
-
sins that's not my ultimate pace. My ultimate praise is it that he healed
-
my boy from an aggressive real from a cancer. That is a great praise,
-
but that is not my ultimate praise. My ultimate praise is in October
-
of nineteen ninety three, so I mean one years ago. He got the
-
dealer with me, and I got to feeling bad about my sin, and
-
I got the feeling guilty about him dying for me, and on a sellard,
-
I want to hear it from you, as much as he wanted to
-
die for me, I got a laugh for him as much as he wanted
-
to die for me. I'm not here to not to cause brother rod cap
-
good company. I'm not here tonight because this church provides a good spiritual sheltering.
-
I'm here tonight because I love him. I'm here tonight because I serve
-
him, because he died for men. On the Sweet Jesus, on these
-
spiritual gifts, the Bible said Paul was dealing with these Corintians. He said,
-
who may need a different one from another? What has to all that
-
now does not receive? Look at our gold texts sake to Corintians five on
-
fifteen cent and that he died for all that day which lives should not live
-
unto themself. I'm not here pastor of church for Jeremy Howell. There's a
-
lot of people doing it through the wrong motives. They said right here,
-
and that he died for all of the day which live should not live unto
-
themselves. You gotta stop living for Philip, you gotta stop living for Tyler.
-
A good reason to live. But I said it a little while ago,
-
there's twenty six reasons why I live. There's an old song that is
-
title. It's a Christian song of yesteryear. I think the title is the
-
reason I live, And then that lyric goes, He's the reason I live?
-
Hold on what a reason? And years ago I said, I got
-
a problem with that lyric because there are other reasons that I live. I
-
live for Charity, how live for cheer Mine, how Live for Jesse?
-
How Live for Nathaniel? I live for Hannah, how live for Samuel?
-
I live for Philip? And you know what to go right on down the
-
line, I tell you twenty six reasons why I spip, Why for twenty
-
six reasons why I blow clear? Twenty six reasons why how live? Holding
-
for the real reason why how I live. It's not only because there's seventy
-
five people followed me as I following Christ. No real reason I live.
-
It's because I want to live for because I leap going for me rather wroth
-
enough for want to live for somebody that was willing to die for you.
-
Again, I'm calling him what it is. Tonight, three to five people
-
in this building are not even saved. FOSSL. Paul said, so fine.
-
A god is one that beats the year. I'm gonna hit the mark
-
tonight, three to five. I'm coming into three. It couldn't be as
-
many as five. Well, are you judging me? The Bible said,
-
you'll know that tree by the friend it burst. When I see you don't
-
want to serve him just because you're having a little sickness in your body.
-
When I see your question of whether that you should serve him because you're having
-
drawn and paying the bills. When I see you're having a problem, I'm
-
serving him because you're gonna have to miss the company picnic. When I say
-
you're having a problem serving him because you don't have to miss the ten year
-
class reunion, you know why you have to miss it, because you're too
-
afraid to show up sactyfile. It says the heart and I can show up
-
in our thirtieth and they just as sanctified as we are tonight and not be
-
ashamed of him. And that's when a pustle Paul had demonstrated in the New
-
Testament church. He said, I am not ashamed of the gospel. I
-
am not ashamed of the custom of Jesus Christ. No, we're not gonna
-
shout over. You need to make it all to No, we're not gonna
-
shout over. You need to have a sacrifice right here. No, we're
-
not gonna shout over the fact and a realization that you're playing church. The
-
reason why things aren't going right is no or the church's fault. It's your
-
fault, right, Joe, Notice the fossil false statement, and that he
-
died for all, that they which live should not live under themselves, but
-
unto him which died for them and rose again. You know when my wife
-
stopped cutting her hair because it's a glory unto her, and she does it,
-
she no longer cuts it because of the angels, because it is an
-
open statement of rebellion as sin as a woman lays the scissors to her hair
-
and cuts it. That's why the talons of that wicked woman is sitting right
-
over here, near where sister Tracey is sitting up tonight, rose out and
-
she couldn't help but spew out that film and admit she've been cutting her hair.
-
I know there's good, good people that's still learning that to twenty five
-
years of me in church and didn't get it the five thousands time they read
-
that scripture. I don't really want to preach a whole bunch of standards here,
-
because if it ain't on the inside, it ain't gonna manifest on the
-
outside anywhere. The same thing with spiritual gifts. If it ain't really on
-
the inside, it ain't gonna manifest on the outside. I don't know if
-
I should keep preaching or just give you a chance to have a killing in
-
the solitary. They said, and that he died for all, that they
-
which live should not live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them.
-
I lived for him because he lived for me. I remember years ago,
-
when was it that the infer in Napoleon, that French inferor. They
-
say, we are of French ancestry. My mother's maiden name is Dampierre,
-
and people of the damp years. The damp years, they say here in
-
the States, but over there it was dampy air. The dampiers are heavy
-
and thick in this area. My granddaddy was one of them. They were
-
mullet fishermen, ran the mullet boats and used the gillnets the harvest mullet over
-
there in Punga Gordon during Gord Damper, but just a cousin of mine attended
-
this church for a little while. As soon as he walked in. As
-
soon as he walked in the door, I knew he was a Damper.
-
Well, we know a little bit about French history because Napoleon was a Frenchman.
-
If I'm not mistaken, there's been a little wat since I've been in
-
school. It's been about thirty years, I guess since I've been in school.
-
But Brother Jesse, our thirtieth class reunion, I'm not a sham right
-
now, bud it to drag your mama in there. I have been ashamed
-
of my wife, ashamed of her. Maybe I've got enough Frenchman in me.
-
I don't care what people thank you, But I remember reading back then
-
a student of history, Napoleon Bonaparte. There was a certain battle that they
-
were facing about to fight. And if I'm not if I'm remembering correctly,
-
if I'm not mistaken, the Russian forces and Austrian not Australian, but the
-
Austrian forces had formed an alliance and they were getting ready to come down and
-
just squash Napoleon and his troops. Now, whether it's part of his legacy,
-
a legend, or just a story or a fable, I don't know,
-
but this is what I remember. They said that Napoleon knew that the
-
odds were against them. You talk about it gainst overwhelming odds, And I
-
hadn't even thought about that till right now. But they said that sleep had
-
left Napoleon and said that all night long, he just walked the perimeter,
-
and he walked past guard after guard that was part of the security detailed,
-
just garden his soldiers. And they said, after a while, sister waiting,
-
he walked past one of them centuries that had collapsed, would just sheer
-
exhaustion and fell asleep, and said he tried to say something to the soldier,
-
and a soldier get up, and that soldier was so weak and so
-
exhausted soldier's eyes just rolled back in his head and said, Nupholeon, being
-
a brew Or man that he was, one of his commanding officers standing nearby,
-
just knew he was gonna do what his policy required him to do,
-
and that was to snatch him up and push him in front to in front
-
of a bunch of French soldiers and have him executed for sleeping on the job.
-
And they said, Napoleon, his heart broke and he realized what the
-
men had went through for him, and he said, rather than waking that
-
man up and taking him to his execution, Napoleon stood in his post told
-
the commanders said just keep surveying the perimeter and keep looking. And the emperor
-
himself stood in that century's place, and brother theremore, that's exactly what came
-
to me today. Thirty minutes prior to the service, he stood in the
-
gap, and that's where I'm hided. And Napoleon stood in the gap.
-
And the next day when that century or that guard, the security guard realized
-
what Napoleon had done. When he came to and the Emperor himself was standing
-
in his place, he fell at his feet commercial him and kissed his feet
-
and said, I deserve death. Commander, then for I deserve to be
-
destroyed, And first I said, don't worry about it, and your post.
-
So they said. The next day the Russian and the Austrian forces descended
-
down upon the French army and said to a spirit of gratitude and fight,
-
and went through the camp of the frenchmen that they utterly destroyed the Russian and
-
Austrian forces. Now, why is it that Jesus can look upon Tyler deserving
-
death? Just as demanded payment for sins, the penalty was death, and
-
Jesus said not Tyler, and Jesus stood in the gap for Toddler. Then
-
when Justice demanded payment for Jesse's sins, Jesus said, no, you can't
-
have Jesse. And Jesus stood in the gap for Jesse. I'll serve him
-
because he loved being able to die for them. I'm thankful for the twenty
-
six reasons that are here, tony brother of you that are blood relatives of
-
mine, and I'm thankful for the seventy five that are here that are spiritual
-
relatives of mine. But the real reason why I'm here to I is because
-
somebody died for me. Could somebody come to again, somebody obey the Lord?
-
Could we stand right now? Somebody stood in the gap for me.
-
Jesus died for all that they which live should not live unto themself, but
-
unto Him which dyed for them. I'm not trying to flatter you, and
-
I'm certainly not trying to lie to you and tell you you're okay, or
-
telling you that the new and improved you is good enough. It's not.
-
Apostle Paul said, I die daily. Literally. When you study that,
-
the context is he'd beat himself black and blue spiritually. He didn't talk about
-
it. He humbled himself all the possibilities that were attainable and available in the
-
world. Apostle Paul said, to live for Christ is what it's all about.
-
Somebody, you don't love him because he stood in your place. You
-
really struggling. That doesn't mean anything. To use Sister Wound's ball and it's
-
gall and run health. You profess and does it. It is true that
-
we confess and that we profess, and salvation is granted by faith and by
-
grace. But you had to have that faith and you have to have that
-
love that creates a genuine connection. Today, at four point forty I lost
-
cellular service. Did anybody else lose cellular service today? This morning? I
-
lost cellular service for about thirty minutes this morning. Today, I lost cellular
-
service from four forty and when church started at seven point thirty, I still
-
didn't have it. For three hours and maybe longer, I haven't had cellular
-
service. I lost my connection with that network. We've got two brand new
-
babies that happen to be grandchildren. I'm here tonight because I need to be
-
a good grandfather. True, but that's not the real reason I'm here.
-
I want to live for him who died for me, living for the life
-
Giver. Can we bow our heads here tonight? It's got to get beyond
-
pastors watching me pray. The elders are watching me pray. People's watching my
-
public profession, private confession, my public confession. It's gonna get right down
-
to everybody can tell you now have a connection with Jesus, and I wanted
-
to close with this. Nothing I do for him will ever be too much
-
because of what he'd done for me. Nothing I do for him will never
-
be too much. The things he asked me to do for him. It'll
-
never be too much the things he asked me to lay down for him.
-
It'll never be too much to lay down the things he asked me to take
-
up for him. It'll never be too much to take up for him,
-
because I'm living for him, and I feel like we've got some others here
-
tonight. So I'm gonna follow the lead of Brother Grant, Brother they were
-
Moore, and Brother Carver, and we're gonna say it. There's definitely three
-
here tonight that he needs to fall in love with. Jesus, I'm not
-
gonna give a general alter call. If you're one of them three, would
-
you come with this altr right now and tell him thank you for dying for
-
me, thank you for standing in the gap for me. Is there somebody
-
right down that would old bankrupt? Remember death as a skeleton key that fits
-
all rocks? Don't you love him enough? Don't you love even though Brother
-
Nathaniel. I'm convinced if I'll just taken outside this building and sacrificed for these
-
three people, I don't believe it wouldn't have an eternal lasting things as much
-
as they say they love. But if I took a bullet for brother Nathaniel.
-
But we're not talking about your pastor taking something for him. We're not
-
talking about your pastor standing in the gap. We're talking about the Son of
-
God stood in the gap for them. So we have three? Is this
-
the three? Could there be five? Is there another? Is there one
-
more? Is there one more? Right now, you won't have a problem
-
with the spirit of holiness. You won't have a problem tithing, you won't
-
have a problem living right. You won't have a father's good wife, you
-
won't have a trouble about being God's will when you rarely fall in love with
-
him when you were. When you start serving him and Martin, you've been
-
changed, living for the lifegiver. I want to say it, plains and
-
you could talk to me a book and send it to you. Going to
-
be a text message tonight. I want to say, plain and as the
-
shepherd that God has precided over his church, there's three to five of them
-
you want to save, no matter how much you teach me. Because he
-
said, if you love him, keep my commandments. He said, my
-
commandments are not grievously. It's not hard to obey God. What's scary because
-
Jesus is about to split the eastern sky. He's coming back for a bride
-
and a spotless, a bride who's been a god a dis ray, hopefully
-
spot Freehi, whoorious church. And while we compare ourselves to others, I
-
feel like check of my own self right now, I feel like trying my
-
own self. The First Lady's coming. And while you keep cussing and you
-
save your speaking in tongues, be the self righteous and being a holier of
-
the man, Your first Lady will show you how to humble yourself and how
-
to offer yourself on the altar. And I want you to know if you
-
save yourself from hardship in this life, to save a marriage, to save
-
a business, to save your relationship. The Bible said, what is a
-
man prophet? If he comes the whole world and lose his own soul?
-
What shall a man give an exchange for his soul? Where you exchange in
-
Jesus' family? He stood and again, stand again, stood again. Don't
-
you love him enough to work for? That's why I sing it. This
-
is the Holy Ghost preaching tonight. It's his word, and that's his version.
-
It's his words. He put this about. I'm just about them first
-
breath Test, chapter number six. First num Brady said, man, you
-
do wrong, and he fog and that your brother know you not. That
-
the fat righteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God be not deceased either fornicators,
-
nor idologiers, nor adulterers, nor to feminine, nor users of themselves,
-
with no kind, nor thieves, nor conifics, nor champers, nor
-
revinders, nor extortioners shall inherit the Kingdom of God. But the good news
-
is to these corinth of believers. Paul said, you were like that,
-
but now you're wish you're simplified, You're justified. Holy know you not that
-
your body is the temple of the Holy goose. Jesus, Jesus, I
-
want to thank you for ying told me I think you to band to education.
-
It's in the splunt looks of you generation job a chap he loves to
-
death. It's not I love you, Jesus. I love you, Jesus.
-
While I've learned him for our financial dances at him about myself, all
-
would Jesus. Jesus, Jesus says, why would I blame you for my
-
troubles? He's still look at it. It's not if ided to just chase,
-
thank you for God in your place. I don't deserve still in and
-
I don't deserves great today. He's a love best not measure by oday.
-
See I did the real be to day we pray not for over again.
-
It's a love best no mature by over day. You see I didn't love
-
me, you love me bos wow only he's hold no costly clo, just
-
a road that was stall. He never gave me dis d but the story
-
of his love. He's the greatest advert to you love me. He bred
-
mother forg He's a that's not bad by see. I ne' someone be not
-
deserve me? Yes I could. I don't deserve his mercy and I don't
-
deserve his charge. But don't the cross we are fired hoping. He said,
-
I love you, don't be uh me de bat other four gears.
-
It's a love as non measure see again m h thoucon some that's gone desore
-
because I see I don't deserve is versy and I don't deser mistuch. But
-
on across me the hard time. Don't say I love you you an everybody
-
just think about the Lord as they say, it's about healthy. It's not
-
about you. It's not about you comparing yourself to brothers. It's not about
-
the pastor about that. It's not about the first lady. It's not about
-
the associate. It's about our love to hear. The whole pot of this
-
message is asking why can't you love him? He ought to assen. There's
-
been a lot of them and telling their wives I love you. They don't
-
want their words, not a lot at you, and tell their mother as
-
they walk down the house, I love your mother. But they're on a
-
lot of their words. I don't say I love him just to get something
-
out of it. The whole thing is right there. I thank you for
-
standing in the gap. I'm gonna live to the life, give if to
-
myself, but live for him. Singing again, Brother philm somebody used to
-
think about Jesus right now? How cool. It's not all the pastor after
-
the house cannot It's about how bad they say. I don't deserve I don't
-
punished on the cross, about costs. It's about how you're saying. It's
-
about him. After a holy ghost in this place, it's hard to keep
-
gassing. God are consequences to this from there's saving I feel weak and crying
-
it's sad and just balling their eyes out because you were up to you can
-
help. It's up bail when we think will cry. And the gratitude of
-
the things the truely comes from the heart. Like sister's dad said a lot
-
about telling talking, the truly comes from the heart's right. I love comes
-
from the paps, and the ship from the depths, and ours gratitude talking.
-
There should be going to the things you let your hall in his eyes
-
up. The should be go the same thing they should be want to eighty
-
five, but once again received those above the versus there. That's why brother
-
grand Food tricks the word ship. It's my brother Pard who please drinks the
-
word My brother, I'm gonna prove the fleaks the way he did, because
-
it's evident you love the local boy than you got five got. I ask
-
you a question. It's a short way, it won't take too much time.
-
Why why why a bunch of money the way the ship? Why a
-
woe work question? Why why mans m all about winning again as worse y

You ain't Thestrabat you fell today as you chose the name. When you can't
