For the Lord for his presence that we feel.

Appreciate my pastor all that he says and does. I

appreciate this exhortation that we've had tonight. You know, I

was thinking before church.

It feels it feels a little bit like fall out there,

and it's been a while since it's got my fall.

It feels like fall out there, and it feels like revival.

And yeah, hey, man, I appreciate the power of God.

I appreciate the spear of God, appreciate this opportunity to preach.

The Lord lay this message on my heart.

I was coming back home from work, I believe it

was last Friday, and I didn't know.

I'd appreciate tonight, but the Lord to give me this.

And then after that, after a pastor had asked me

or had let me know to be ready, I went

back to prayer just to make sure, just to double

check make sure that that this was the time to

priest this message. And and I've got liberty for it.

So we're gonna preach here tonight out of the Book

of Ruth. We're gonna look here in the book of

the first chapter of Ruth.

We're looking for the Lord to help us here tonight.

So thankful again for this.

Opportunity to preach for my pastor in the Bethel Church.

Love and appreciate each one, So thankful for this revival

that we've had. I want to be a help and

and encouragement here tonight to somebody. Look at Ruth chapter

number one.

Stand here for the reverence of the reading of God's Word.

We're gonna start in six.

Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she

might return from the country of Moab. For she had

heard in the country of Moab how that the Lord

had visited his people in giving them bread. Wherefore she

went forth out of the place where she was, and

her two daughters in law with her. Sounds like Naomi

got tired of got tired of being in Moab, right.

Looks like Naomi got tired of being in that pagan place.

Don't it reading seven again? Wherefore she went forth out

of the place where she was, and her two daughters

in law with her, and they.

Went on the way to return unto the land of Judah.

Look at verse number fifteen, and she said, behold, thy

sister in law is gone back.

What do you mean your sister in law is gone back.

We just read.

That that the three of them were headed for Judah.

They were headed for Bethlehem, and she set behold, thy

sister in law has turned, is gone back onto her people,

and unto her gods. Return now after thy sister in law. Well,

of course number nineteen. It's so, they too went until

they came to Bethlehem. And it came to pass when

they were coming to Bethlehem that all the city was

moved about them.

And they said, is this Naomi.

I want to preach here tonight for just a few minutes,

that the Lord will stand by me help me here.

I want to preach on a fork in the road.

There's a decision to be made. There's a decision to

be made for each and every heart here tonight, which

you left to haim into heaven.

Ask God to help us. Thank you for your mercy.

We thank you for how you've met with us here

The Book of Ruth and the Story of Great trouble

and great triumph. It's a story of.

Great loss, but also a story of great game. It's

a story of death and the story of life, the

new birth. It's a story of famine, and it's the

story of a time of plenty. It's the story of

a moral fall. It's a story of a story of

young woman that finally got tired of where she was

living and said, where you go, I'll go. It's the

To me, sounds like God huts up the heavens and

the crop begin to die. A promise of famine is

recorded for disobedience.

Times throughout the Bible as a form of.

A form of punishment.

Right. It was a form of God's corrective hand up

on the children of Israel. A little that tries to

escape the famine that is brought upon by God, but

he finds himself in worse shape. He finds himself in

worse shape than if he were the state hunker down

there in the land of Judah and waited for the

rain will come again. History proves to us with no

doubts that he lived, that he left his family in

the worst condition.

that the Lord pointed out to me.

There was a choice to be made, and a different

choice for each was made.

Or we gave Naomi and goodbye forever kids. Or if

we would never make that journey to back with him,

Orph would never go see your mother in law in

the land of Promise, Orpe would never make that track

that Ruth chose to me, or Pra would never hold

oh Bed, Orph would never hold the grandfather of the

beloved King of Israel, King David. Why because of a

choice quite one, quite possibly one of the most famous

under the blood, those things that she thought she had

only knew those gods still reigned supreme.

I'm going we're on the journey together. I don't know

how far down the road that made it. I don't

know how far or pollen, but she stopped short. They

back to those things that she thought she had got

rid of.

Those old hindrances and those old vices I passed her,

for from that same thing that the devil had been
