Amen.
-
Well, if you have your Bibles with you, will you
-
turn with me to Romans chapter number eighth.
-
Man, direct your attention to the twenty eighth verse.
-
All right, Brother Jesse's gone, Brother Jeremiah's filling in, and
-
you come right on up here and preach tonight, Brother Jeremiah.
-
Any man, Brother Jesse received a call just as he
-
finished up playing the pen tonight. Say he's going to
-
work to help somebody restory with their work service. Okay,
-
Brother Jeremiah, Job chapter number twenty three and verse number ten.
-
Brother Samuel, Job, chapter number forty two and verse number twelve,
-
Go ahead, brother Jeremiah. Well, he knoweth the way that
-
I tell you. When he have tried me, I shall
-
come forth as gold. How many of you believe that
-
to be true? He knoweth the way that we take,
-
and after he has tried us, we shall come forth
-
as gold. Purification process of gold is quite the process,
-
but the end result, the product is beautiful, Brother Samuel,
-
Job chapter number forty two and verse number twelve.
-
So the Lord blessed the latter end of job more
-
than his beginning, for he had fourteen thousand sheep and
-
six thousand camels and a thousand yolk of auctions and
-
a thousand.
-
She sounds to me like the Lord blessed job.
-
After the trial, after he had been tried, after he
-
tried so hard to find God in the midst of
-
his trial.
-
Let's stand for the reading of our text. How many
-
of you have ever heard me say he's a Romans
-
eight twenty eight.
-
God, you've attended the Bethel hole in his church for
-
any amount of time, you've heard me say that. I've
-
been saying that for several years. Brother ro Cap would
-
you say you've heard me say it many times?
-
Romans eight twenty eight. We can all quote it, I believe.
-
Let's read it together, and we know that all things
-
work together for good to them that love God, to them.
-
Who are the called according to His purpose.
-
Let's pray, Heavenly Father, we thank you for the opportunity
-
to be in your house. I thank you for the
-
people of precious, precious, precious family that's in this building. God,
-
Precious Lord. That word has been on my heart here lately.
-
Precious to people that are so precious God, These souls
-
that are so valuable, so priceless.
-
Precious, priceless units souls.
-
God, a knowing to ears to hear what it is
-
the spirit of God is trying to say to them
-
to die through these scriptures.
-
Annoying me God to preach.
-
Said a God at my mouth, Please and help me
-
to say only the things you would have me to say,
-
nothing more.
-
And less annoying to have people. I pray annoyt this
-
pitiful preaching. God, Please help us Lord, not to hear only,
-
but to heed. Help us to hearken, to listen.
-
I pray that we would depart this place joyfully and
-
not sorrowfully.
-
In Jesus' name. In the Church says Amen, and the
-
Bible says, and we know that all things work together
-
for good to them that loved God, to them which
-
are the called according to His purpose. Our text is
-
found in a New Testament book of the Holy.
-
Bible, the Book of Romans.
-
This writing was open before us this past Sunday morning,
-
and we dealt into the unsearchable riches of Jesus Christ.
-
And as we searched the sacred scriptures, we uncovered another
-
name for our Lord.
-
Do you remember it? The God of Hope? Yes? Correct.
-
I've heard from many people since Sundays who are becoming
-
serious students of.
-
The Book of Romans.
-
How many in us building tonight, by the showing of
-
the hand, could say, I've been reading a lot in
-
the Book of Romans, Brother Jordan, Sister Sheryl, Brother Tyler,
-
and Brother Caleb. How many others will say I'll do
-
better in reading the Book of Romans in the upcoming days.
-
You need to, because someday I pointed out to you
-
that the great Reformationist Martin Luther's life was forever changed
-
by a deep study of the Book of Romans.
-
And so here we are again.
-
The Book of Romans is open before us.
-
Why is that?
-
Why are we becoming serious students of the Book of Hope?
-
Why are we.
-
Listening so carefully and intently to the voice of the
-
God of Hope. Because the Spirit of God is speaking
-
expressly to the Bath of Holiness Church. And if you
-
were in the service a few days ago, you remember
-
that I told you how the Lord instructed our first lady,
-
dear sister Howell, to read the eighth Chapter repeatedly over a.
-
Period of several days.
-
And not long after her obedience and doing as her
-
master had told her to do, she was baptized in
-
the Holy Ghost, and with time I'm amazed that when
-
I asked a little while ago, how many of you
-
have read the Book of Romans repeatedly over the last
-
couple of days, how few hands were raised, especially among
-
those that are seekers of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
-
This lets me know that you are not yet hungering
-
and thirsting for righteousness or.
-
For the indwelling of the Holy Ghost.
-
And as your loving pastor, I want to tell you
-
again search the scriptures, for in them.
-
Ye think ye have eternal life.
-
Sister Howell has shared with me many times how the
-
Lord impressed upon her heart while she was so searching
-
in her prayer clause so to speak of God put
-
it in her heart, not knowing that the Book of
-
Romans had changed the life of Martin Luther, not knowing
-
that the Book of Romans was probably the greatest of
-
the Pauline epistles. Just the young woman, fresh out of
-
the charismatic as simbly of God, that she had attended.
-
My new bride and her prayer claus.
-
At that place that was designated for her to leave
-
me and to get along with God. God spoke to
-
her heart and said, repeatedly, read Romans, chapter number eight.
-
I've shared that story with many people over the years,
-
as I preached and as I've witnessed the people that
-
passed by a street side. Let me ask you a question,
-
Why is our Lord directing our steps and leading us
-
to search down this path once more? Why are we
-
in the Book of Romans again? Coincidence?
-
I think not.
-
It's evident to all the mature saints that Romans is
-
one of Paul's doctrinal masterpieces. This eighth chapter touched Sister
-
Howell in a way that I could not touch her.
-
It touched her in a way that no preacher could
-
touch her.
-
Her God touched.
-
Her and changed her life through the reading of this
-
sacred book, specifically that eighth chapter. That eighth chapter in
-
the Book of Romans.
-
Conditions sister charities.
-
Are for a significant change in her day to day life.
-
And as her husband, I can tell you, I don't
-
know that a sweeter woman has ever lived. I'm telling you,
-
after living with this woman for over thirty years, I
-
don't know that a sweeter woman has ever lived. That's
-
my soulmate, the love of my life. And I'll tell
-
you she's never been a bad wife, She's never been
-
a bad mother. She's never been a bad Christian, and
-
she was in that charismatic ascent lived God where any
-
and everything went. She still had a desire to read
-
her Bible every night, she had a desire to pray
-
multiple times a day.
-
But when she.
-
Began to search the scriptures, God stretched her heart, God
-
stretched her mind, and got stretched her experience significantly. And
-
I noticed that after she received the baptism of the
-
Holy Ghost, there was some sort.
-
Of radical change that took place in her.
-
It was recognizable even though she had been the perfect
-
pride and the perfect wife.
-
I think we had two children at the time, and
-
the perfect mother.
-
But there was a purpose for this condition.
-
There was a purpose for this change in charity what happened.
-
I want to remind you of our God in text
-
that all things worked together for good. It is true
-
that Paul believed in God desires to place his spirit
-
in the being of all of his children. I'm one
-
excluded when I witnessed a significant result of this amazing
-
change in Sistor Holla's life. I'm begin to study this book.
-
I've always been a student of the Word of God.
-
I've always believed in passion and praying and seek in
-
the face of God. Since I was seventeen years of age,
-
since my life was radically transformed by the renewing power
-
of the sweet Holy Ghost.
-
But I've noticed something happened.
-
His words were without question, spirit, and they were without
-
question full of life. And say, I've downed into this
-
book of the Bible, and I'm beginning to study chapters
-
number six and seven and eight. And truly those chapters
-
in the Book of Romance are our opening. Paul seems
-
to relate to a war over within a person because
-
of the academic nature. And as we continue reading until
-
chapter number seven, and since he crist emphatically these words.
-
He who will deliver me from this body of death?
-
And immediately the spirit of God within him responded with this.
-
And as he speaks, he sighs with relief for the
-
answers his old question. I thank God through.
-
Jesus Christ, that I can be delivered from this body
-
of death.
-
I believe every honest hearted person who studies chapter six seventy.
-
Eight will conclude that the apostle Paul believe in folks
-
becoming new creatures. He told the Corinthian Church the thissl
-
and Nikens he told the Romans, all of these believers
-
of different nations.
-
That if any man be in Christ.
-
He is a new creature. All things have passed away. Behold,
-
all things have become new, he says. You study this
-
book of the Bible. You see that Paul believe person.
-
In the sactification process after somebody has become.
-
A new creature. Secondly, taught the in dwelling of the Holy.
-
Ghost in the life of every belief, that no one excluded.
-
I locked the way the apostle Paul began the eighth chapter.
-
Apparently the Holy Guests had this honest fine when he
-
commission the reading of this chapter over and over again.
-
My charity, how and it against like this.
-
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are
-
in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh. That
-
means somebody must be walking after the flesh. There is
-
now no condemnation of them which are in Christ Jesus.
-
You can't be in the flesh and be in Christ Jesus.
-
There is not for now no condemnation to them which
-
are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh
-
but after the spirit. Remember when Paul was feeding to
-
the Church of Glatia. He said, walk in the spirit
-
that you obey, not the lust of the blessure.
-
How many believers are there in this building tonight, probably
-
about seventy. Are you enjoying the freedom from condemnation given
-
to you my outland Jesus, I thank God for.
-
Freedom for condemnation.
-
O my brother Samuel Howell could say, prior to me
-
selling out to God, I lived in conviction and condemnation
-
every hour of the day, every day of the year.
-
But let me be clear that the men be in Christ.
-
He is a new creature. All things are gone and
-
new things are the New Lord. Come on now, I'm
-
telling you a lot of good King from sister how
-
reading the Age chapter of the Book of Romans, repeated, Luke,
-
watch you the kettle right now. As a spirit feel
-
the leader within the Becca Holiness Church.
-
You see her.
-
As a power packed, power possessing child of God.
-
I want you to know that.
-
That experience came about her in one of the greatest trials.
-
Of her life.
-
Her gallbladder was going bad, and she was suffering day
-
in and day out, A preaching on all things.
-
Work together for good, a serving.
-
The Holy guest.
-
Chitle that watch up, Jesus work it out.
-
I remember holding her my bride's hand and walking up
-
and down the road as she clutched.
-
Her her chest and set cheer me. I feel like him.
-
Dying with a heart.
-
Attack, like after night she suffered. I remember what Charles
-
furs and saying been. He was writhing in agony, to
-
the point that he was embarrassed that those people that
-
respected him huh so high he was a witness to
-
what he was going through.
-
He said, the man and me did not want to
-
allow her.
-
Him no witness me and such agony and travail in
-
my body and in my spirit. I asked the question
-
of God, I'm your child, Why am I a suppering
-
like this?
-
Sir?
-
He said, it put everybody after He didn't want to
-
charge God foolishly, and he asked God a question. And
-
you better be careful how you ask God questions. You
-
better be careful to questions you ask him. You better
-
be careful how you ask God questions.
-
You better be careful. The spirit behind that is what
-
I'm saying.
-
And Charles Burgeon said, with a love in his heart
-
towards his father.
-
He said, Father, I know you're my father. And I
-
want you to understand and that I acknowledge.
-
He was my father. How can you allow me to
-
suffer like this and.
-
Put in my wife and chielding her and my parishoners.
-
And he said, I know you said.
-
In your word that I'm your child. And he said
-
I would do anything for my child. That was not
-
murmured and complaining her by Charles Fergon.
-
That was not Charles pershing Hook accusing God for wisling.
-
That was Stay speaking.
-
He was letting God know I'm your child and you're
-
my father.
-
He said he is to me.
-
After the daughters, after the criticizers had been put out,
-
he had.
-
A transparent talker with his corner and he said he
-
was me, hold right, get it there.
-
He said, I never.
-
Suffered in that manner. Again, he said, my father, shut up.
-
I want you to know her sister Hola was suffering everybody.
-
But in I'm president, what way I'm killing somebody here?
-
I preach you to you. I thought commn it on
-
my slda last night and atin the day.
-
You don't understand the reason.
-
Why can I come and not to tell you?
-
There is a purpose?
-
So there is a reason. The never God said there
-
was cooking me.
-
And I'm gonna kitchen. I didn't see it when you
-
were walking up to Dale.
-
The Word r hurting the way she was.
-
But God up to preparing. God put her in the world.
-
God put her in.
-
The prayer calls it the see is who she.
-
Is today because God was hurting the bad have to
-
be good.
-
Charles Bergen said, it calls me in my spirit to
-
del deeper into the Word and deeper in my spirit, deeper.
-
Deeper, deeper, Brother road Cap.
-
I feel like that's what God's been trying to do,
-
is us situations and circumstances to drive somebody to his feet,
-
to drive somebody to where they say mercy rewrap my
-
life when somebody could say grace, help.
-
Me in my time of need.
-
You know, the Bible.
-
Said that the Lord is a prince and help in
-
the time of trouble. This tells me that man that
-
it's born of woman is certainly full of trouble, even
-
though his life was though that's a vapor sis the
-
hell of Poodah or trouble sister Hell.
-
And I contestify without being embarrassed or shame.
-
They said that we had our fair share of trouble.
-
I've been Sister Luke's pastor now for a pretty good while,
-
and I'll tell you this. She could say, I've had
-
my fair share.
-
Or trouble, but I want to back up to that.
-
He is a prince of help in trouble.
-
This lets me know that you and then of God,
-
we'll pace trouble heaven sooner or later.
-
It did not say he's a path coming help her.
-
He said, help her.
-
He's already here.
-
I killed somebody here that not. It doesn't matter her.
-
It was breaking love a party that's been a part
-
of the seed.
-
So the devil might.
-
Be doing it.
-
He might have got permission for God to do it.
-
But I guarantee you, Licifer, he said, Lisa.
-
If God's gonna being a player up.
-
And Licifer, our God is the master pustler.
-
He knows her head to take the spiritual rulers to
-
you that it makes sense of its kicking anybody else there.
-
So then I want you to there God. It has
-
got a purpose, and God.
-
Got a player.
-
It is true, that is till then we've been afflicted.
-
Amen, nobody is offering to be that one that goes
-
through the trouble. Nobody's volunteering right now to say I'll
-
be the one that can be tested and proving truth.
-
There's nobody right now saying pastor here I am. I'll
-
be the one that Lucifer can.
-
Lay a hold up. I'll be the one that the
-
enemy could surround.
-
I'll be the one that can afflict be afflicted with
-
some sort of gold bladder disease. I'll be the one
-
that can be afflicted with renal failure. You better be careful,
-
I'm telling you. Don't you listen to what I'm preaching
-
the natural and be foolisher. I'm telling you Peter ended
-
up in predicaments and situation and circumstantius. Nat of their
-
old chusing, Oh child, that righteous man.
-
That fear God and a shoon evil to you, he
-
didn't burn God for trouble her. I guarantee you what
-
on this day the prayer lister and every child be
-
the sorer.
-
It wasn't on his prayer list. And his wife tell
-
me in her and say close God. I'm telling you
-
I'm not asking for trouble left, but I want you
-
to know her.
-
When trouble comes to form a saff This the devil
-
head having his way. He went to our end, but
-
it is not to thegetherway having.
-
His way, or to your end.
-
There the destruction there, I'm telling you call her.
-
That's how to put his hand in here, not to
-
rock time and walking out from the dead. I want
-
to tell your.
-
Enemy and not you need to understand there for or
-
sit down there the shut up and wots Jesus walking
-
out lift, I can't give this to you and list
-
Jesus he's gonna walk it out.
-
Watch and see Jesus will walking out.
-
Go ahead, enemy, go ahead, get your popcorn, shoot your
-
lazy fair recliner and watching you watch me belos in
-
one of my mother buildos of child watch me, boy,
-
I'm walking down the surfaced my airs.
-
Then'll come on last.
-
Then I'm telling you run you just sit down and
-
stand there and watch her.
-
N Jesus say, walking out. They said you'll never building
-
church up.
-
In the bay of r They're right.
-
I told her not. Hey, I'm never wheeled. Hey Jesus
-
walking out. The trouble come yet, the trouble come looking
-
forward to you. Did you stumble into trouble yet they're
-
trouble find you?
-
Yeah?
-
That sure?
-
As goodness and mercies follow me troubles following me to
-
I thank God for Sister Hammer's testimonying tonight of God.
-
Protecting her on the highway.
-
The last few moments, I've been getting up really early
-
just the how can witness to this? And I've been
-
praying for this people's safety on the highway specifically. I
-
don't understand exactly why the spirit of God has prompted
-
me to pray that way, but I've been praying.
-
For your protection.
-
Oh come on, now, I'm not asking God to let
-
somebody suffer injuries from a head on coalision. I'm not
-
asking God to left somebody to suffer loss from a
-
head on collision.
-
But I want you to know there has been people that.
-
Are suffered losso like that, and it was not to
-
make a sense to anybody else why there it happened.
-
We're gonna get to heaven before we find the answers
-
to some of the life questions. Some of them questions
-
are valid questions, some of them I've asked. Some of
-
them I wanted about as I'm buried out of people's
-
lovely But I.
-
Can tell you this, it could be a law to God.
-
And come on, I'm saying if you're a new creature,
-
and you're here child as soon as he rest of
-
the Holy Gusta.
-
He wants so us to help you in your trouble.
-
I've been enjoying freedom for condemnation ever since the Gods saved,
-
but I haven't been able to enjoy a life without trouble.
-
Can I get a witness and have been clear? If
-
any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.
-
But I will tell you this, as soon as you
-
get Christ, you're also a persecuted But a lot of
-
good came from Sister Howell reading.
-
The eighth chapter of the Book of Romans repeatedly. You
-
know that to be true.
-
Now, I think of our Golden Text as planning right
-
in the middle of that chapter.
-
I haven't heard her say a whole lot.
-
About this verse, but I've heard her talking about some
-
of the other verses in that chapter a lot over
-
the years. Our golden text is, and we know, you
-
know it very well. The child of God has been
-
seasoned by the grace and the.
-
Goodness of God.
-
The child of God that has left patience are working
-
You that's left hope arise in your heart. You know
-
that all things creature, all things. Yeah, not just some,
-
not a few things, but all.
-
Things have worked together for good in the em that
-
love God.
-
I can't tell the fackslider it's gonna work out for
-
the good.
-
I can't tell the dictator it's gonna work out.
-
For the good. I can't tell Orpah and a.
-
Look out for her good that.
-
I can't tell her a chronicle of his way home.
-
I can tell.
-
Ruth, who was known as a man by so it'll
-
work out.
-
From your dad, I can tell the sakes of God
-
in the ay, said God. It the Russian's innispirity and
-
the true tell of man, not of the disability from money,
-
degree and a severity. God is here, I said, call
-
it is here that lets an enemy sit there and
-
watch it, watch Jesus walking. We know that all things
-
work together for good to them that love God, to
-
them who are called according.
-
To His purpose. Who is them, sister Wooten, Whom are
-
they that love God? Those who keep his commandments?
-
John said in fourteen and fifteen in this gospel, he said,
-
if you love me, keep my commandments.
-
That's Jesus speaking.
-
John recorded, if he loved me, keep my commandments, and
-
I will pray to the Father, and he shall give
-
you another comforter that he may abide with you forever.
-
Now that seems like an interesting scripture right there, for
-
a certain doctrine.
-
Now, come on, you think with me, if you're deep
-
thinkers have God.
-
Oh, yes, God, if you'll think about that scripture, if
-
you love me, keep.
-
My commandments, and I will pray to the Father, and he.
-
Shall give you another company that he might Ama.
-
Will you to enter?
-
That was Jesus speaking, and who pays it believes her
-
that our obedience to his commandments here can be her
-
assigned to us my God, to obey and trust. Oh,
-
come on now, everybody that loves her. The Lord will
-
keep his commandments. The Bible said the keeping up of
-
his commandments is not grievous.
-
It's some people in the church that says his words
-
are too hard, his writings are too way.
-
I don't have to.
-
Keep it up.
-
I'm coming by us deepness, I covering by his BLOODA
-
I come revise grayso you're not gonnab.
-
I can read the Bible again. We got a Sunstus
-
gets us up for him be faking.
-
He turned alive.
-
All things work together to them they love you, and
-
if you love it, you'll keep his commandments. I believe we,
-
as Christians, have been called according to His purpose. Jesus
-
demonstrated this as he surrendered his body to crucifixion.
-
Father, not my will, but.
-
Note be done. I don't exactly desire.
-
To have my body ripped apart by the Roman Cata
-
of nine tails. I don't exactly desire for my heart
-
to bust from such great sorrow and prevail a soul
-
in spirit. I'm not exactly anticipating torn torlen in laboring
-
in the wilderness in prayer.
-
But the spirit let him there. I want you to
-
listen to that. And Jesus was led of the.
-
Spirit into the wilderness to bearticular of the devil forty days.
-
It was not the devil's ideal, It was not the
-
devil's plan. God was working it out for his good.
-
Listen to moment that earthly man, God incarnate one d
-
see God one hundred percent man, the moment he collssed
-
in the wilderness in prayer.
-
The Bible said, having his facts of.
-
Angels to him administered her to his man nature.
-
And that's what I want you to know.
-
He's an ever present helper in need to man, God
-
will show up.
-
He's always already there. God is on scene. Now I
-
see this.
-
I've sung these lyrics for a long time and the
-
lyric comes like this, crossing the compsey with Jesus. As
-
a pastor, I've walked up on some ugly situations.
-
And what I see is crossing the crime scene, which Jesus,
-
that's when I find assurance.
-
That's when I.
-
Find peace in my soul to know that He's there.
-
And that's what heavid said.
-
Even though I walk her to the valley on a
-
shadow of death, I love her day for why because
-
I have heart with me.
-
I'm telling you here to not tell you just.
-
Lets your enemy mail the airport to the table heaven
-
that watch you lest God wots it out.
-
I said, I'm telling you and your enemy to knock her.
-
Watch it. Jesus, we'll walk it out. I don't know how,
-
I don't know when. But He's done him many times
-
and he'll do it again. Who press it tonight? Believe
-
that his children love to keep his commandments.
-
A lot of good could come out of someone who
-
obeying the words of God, can it not?
-
Brother Philip is cancer free? Right now because he obeyed
-
the instructions of God.
-
Children of God, we should hearken and we should heed
-
to the teachings.
-
Of our Lord in this book. What is it that we,
-
the called of God desire? I hope you desire to please.
-
I've heard a sister in this church say for about
-
eighteen years, and I've been a pastor.
-
She said, I just want to please him. Pleasing him
-
is all the matters. That's a good thing to say,
-
isn't it. That's a good feeling in it. That's a
-
good way to think about it. I just want to
-
please the Lord in every way or brother feeling.
-
That kind of person can count on God working their
-
situation out for their good. How many believers in this
-
building that testified it that the Lord work tains out
-
for them for their good?
-
Many in this building can show her that by the
-
raising of the hands.
-
You know what, come on? Now?
-
They were dealing with something that they didn't understand.
-
Your neighbor sending up to you next to you has
-
went three things and did not make sense.
-
When brother the Thing or sister Rachel married that baby boy.
-
And I'm telling you it did not make sense to me.
-
I told God, I did not understand it, in questioned
-
him up un entertaining bitter her, I told the devil,
-
I said, well, one, thank for sure, I'm always wanting
-
to be a holiness man and I'm buried him. Or
-
I'm a holiness preacher and I'm more internment now. And
-
I've never been a look to be a hole in
-
a preacher. And I know the turning and the d
-
give out. I'll tell us somebody in this building. Her
-
rock says, Jesus, crush it out. We don't understand what
-
we don't go well that course all.
-
But Jesus, so will that's blocking out?
-
How will they come home?
-
Your father and the procer said, had no idea, but
-
Jesus worked it out with my legous to the titles him.
-
I don't have the answer that.
-
Question, but what's Jesus will walk it out.
-
There's people in this building.
-
Brother Tyler, that can say that situation and circumstances brought
-
pain into my personal life, It brought pain into my
-
family's life, It brought pain into my church family's hearts.
-
But you know what, Jesus worked it out for our good.
-
Some other people in this building might have been tempted
-
to say I thought as a child, I understood as
-
a child, and I did some childish things.
-
There's some children in the spirit in this building that.
-
Could ask the question, why did this happen to me?
-
Job's wife was a child in the spirit. The Bible
-
did not say she was one that feared God and
-
hated evil. She was obviously some sort of babe in
-
her faith. And Job's wife couldn't see the hand of
-
God in her in her husband's trial and Joe, chapter
-
number two and verse number nine, the Bible said about
-
Joe's wife, then she said, unto him, just now, still
-
retain that integrity first God, And now there's some people
-
in this building, whether or not they're experiencing a heart attack,
-
a stroke.
-
Or the forsaking of a mother. Oh, come on, that's
-
what he said.
-
Can a father and a mother forsake a child? Can
-
a mother forget her suckling child and forsaken absolute?
-
She can. But you know what God said, I will
-
not forget you. And that's what Job he showed in
-
front of his wife. I will not lose my integrity.
-
I will not lose my paint in the midst of
-
this adversity.
-
I've got a brother I can't lay my hands on him,
-
but he will be going one day for my adversity.
-
And he's here right now. And Joe goes on and
-
Joe thirteen and fifteen. He offers this explanation for his attitude.
-
He said, though he slaved me.
-
Yet I will trust him. And I'm not a place
-
he said, Well, it's locked here.
-
It's just simple. I'm not gonna fact the system, and
-
I'm not gonna pact the spirit.
-
Nothing I came up into this world and nothing I
-
shall return.
-
Listen if what bank account, if he's out over not
-
to he's still. You can understand that. Jesus, we don't
-
work it out.
-
We're just not.
-
You're letting me sit back up were there popped him
-
and it needs me?
-
And watch up He'll rot Jesus.
-
Walking out THI slavery, yet well, I trust in him.
-
Noticing do he accuse us of being the slavery the
-
lord it is, the devil is the devil. He got permission,
-
got a permission slit from God. God allowed that test.
-
I don't understand why God allows.
-
Sometimes the Crab family asked that question, they sing it
-
sometimes God allows. But as I read through the book,
-
of Job around Joe twenty three, and jenn And said,
-
for he knoweth the way that I take.
-
When he had tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
-
What this means, even though Job was a righteous man
-
that feared God and a shoot of despise and.
-
Hated evil brother Jeordie.
-
Wallace, what that means is there was still some purification
-
process to be done inside of his heart. Evident that
-
there was still some progress to be made, because he
-
did not say I'm already.
-
Pear gold, but he said I shall come.
-
Forth as gold.
-
And there's people in this building.
-
I'm telling you you better humble yourself into the mighty
-
hand of God. Have you better understanding this?
-
That your gold?
-
What truths for you to humble yourself and to pray?
-
Oh?
-
I mean, come on now, y'all remember about the eat
-
of my Sunday Night's message. Because of where they lived,
-
their geographic location, they felt like they were inventing on
-
They felt like they were untouchable.
-
But Overdy told them how. They said, the cause of
-
the heartiness of your heart, God will bring you near.
-
To the ground.
-
They asked the question, who shall bring me to the ground.
-
I'll tell you this if they nevil, don't do it,
-
but God's permission.
-
God will do it.
-
You just ask, never Connis.
-
What we need is some people can this goodity respond
-
properly to work, to try and process. I learned years
-
ago to ask God quickly, what are you trying to
-
teach me? Because I realized until I passed the test,
-
he wasn't gonna leave me along. If it was on
-
my job, an employer, a boss man, if it was
-
an elm in my body, I would search my spirit
-
and I said, God, are you trying to tell me something?
-
Are you trying to slow me?
-
Now?
-
Brother Samuel had a good chainsaw. He tried to fire
-
it up about two or three times, and then he
-
went and got another one. Tried to fire it up
-
two or three times. It's spinner's fudder and put his
-
platter just a little bent, and he said, man, this
-
thing's almost brand new. I just put clean fuel in it,
-
clean all in it, clean bar well, a chain, all
-
in it. Just put fresh gasoline in it. It's got
-
a good spark plug in it.
-
This thing was just running.
-
But when it came time to go over there and
-
work for Dad and to just have a volunteer basis,
-
I didn't even know it was coming to cut that
-
tree by myself. That chainsaw refused to work, and then
-
another one he borrowed and refused to work.
-
Then after a while they're too. Later he borrowed another one,
-
and that one worked. Bili Sama said, Dad, after being around.
-
You, I know not to be a quitter.
-
I know to keep trying. I know to keep pushing.
-
I know do not let one thing me up, he said.
-
But somehow I felled him my spirit that there was
-
trouble of waiting me, and he said. I backed up,
-
and I said, God, is this you? You better be
-
careful kicking the tire on that vehicle when you go
-
to leave work. I know you want to get home
-
because you're.
-
Used to eat supper at twenty two minutes, because it
-
takes you twenty minutes to get home at two minutes
-
to belly up to the table, and you get upset
-
because that vehicle that normally just turns over so easy
-
won't turn over. But then mysteriously, thirty minutes later it
-
turns up. Does anybody know what I'm talking about?
-
Her?
-
I believe there are angels working all around us, the
-
Bible said the angel other.
-
Lord in campus round her about them that fear him.
-
He can't keep up.
-
An inchine from turning over. I said, he can't keep
-
up an inchin from turning over. Us to want something
-
else till want? Sister how and I one time just
-
felt the need to pull over. Do you remember the
-
sister How? We were on an interstate traveling home. I
-
was not sleepy or was I tired. I was always
-
able to drive twelve to fifteen sixteen hours with just
-
a couple I stops. The children wish I'd make a
-
whole lot more stops, Sister How, I wished I had
-
to make a whole lot more stops, But I just
-
keep on trucking, going to be in Jesus.
-
One time I just felt like I needed to pull over.
-
Do you remember this, Brother Philla, we pulled over.
-
I walked in a cracker barrel and Brother Ethan, I
-
just felt like it was time to pull over. Now,
-
I'm not talking about somebody watching a squirrel in the tree.
-
I'm not talking about somebody being finnicky and fickle. I'm
-
not talking about somebody being crazy or mad mentally.
-
I'm talking about feeling the power of God just pulling
-
over for tranquility and peace of mind in my deering
-
and drug. A wife and six little rug rents out
-
and went in that cracker barrel, and sister healed.
-
Just as soon as we got their clear, skies.
-
Turned gray, and the lights went to flickering, and for
-
people's bellies went to fluttered, and they asked everybody in
-
that cracker barrel to pile into men's restroom, and the
-
women's restroom women go in there, and men go in there.
-
And brother Philip, I knew the cracker barrel bathrooms ain't
-
big enough for everybody to sit in the building, you know.
-
And I told my family, I said, I ain't about
-
to pack it in their life, sr it is with
-
all these perverts.
-
And so I kept my kids outside the door.
-
And it wasn't but about ten or fifteen minutes later,
-
after it rained and the winds blew on, shook the
-
trees outside, the lights finally came back on it.
-
It even held and all. And somebody said a tornado
-
just ripped through up through there just a little ways.
-
We got in that vehicle, and sister how we went
-
up the road how far, maybe five or six files,
-
and a big tornado had ripped across that interstate fill
-
up hundreds of trees, not three or four. Hundreds of
-
trees have been snapped in twain, snapped in two left.
-
A little ball would snap a tooth pick.
-
I'm telling you God works things together for your good.
-
A sinner can't claim that I've made that clear. I
-
try to get the first fifteen minutes of a message
-
where it's just strong indoctrine and strong in depth, and
-
after the first fifteen minutes I try to dive on
-
into the preaching. But I've told you that you cannot
-
have that blessed assurance that He's working things out if
-
you're not living right.
-
And that's the challenge for somebody tonight.
-
You better be obedient to God.
-
Allow God to change that heart and heart into a
-
hearted blesser. Allow God to turn that stuff in spirit
-
into a spirit that's willing health. I'm telling you a
-
larkness of mind and spirit could work wonders.
-
In the heart of somebody in this bill tonight.
-
Brother Philip, I'm sure that job understood. As he stood
-
in front of ten caskets, ten fires, looked at ten
-
dead children, and his wife was going into a rage.
-
You were praying didn't make a difference in this situation.
-
You feared God hating evil, doing wrong when everybody else
-
was doing wrong.
-
It didn't make a difference in this situation.
-
Everybody in the funeral would have said, you know what,
-
You're right, miss Job, you are absolutely right.
-
Where was your God at when the first three died?
-
Where was your God at when the next three died?
-
Where was your God when they last four died?
-
My sister would somehow, I'm sair John broderstood.
-
That somehow the God was intervening right in and there
-
some way. As bad as it was, it could have
-
been worse.
-
As bad as it was, it could.
-
Have been worse. The Lord knows how much you can take,
-
the mother said. He will not put on you anymore
-
than you can bear, but will with the temptation to mide,
-
make a way of escape. I can't take it.
-
Oh yes you can.
-
I can't make it.
-
Oh yes you can. Oh you walked in the.
-
Matter or a shutter there.
-
You shouldn't hear an evil, no matter what that part
-
is desperately with you to saying, no matter what the
-
emotions a.
-
Saying, they still and know that he's God, and know
-
that he'll work it out.
-
Do I have a play at church or do I
-
have a scar at church?
-
Because the truth is Son that God pompted in some
-
of you that are seeking only goes to read Rama's repeatedly.
-
If you've got to the place and the spirit of
-
God can't help you, my point is you better hope
-
you love God enough and keep his commandments and please
-
Him enough that He would be with you to work
-
it out for your good. A positive message like this
-
could turn into a message of judgment if daring it
-
holy goes reveals to the minister that you're not changing.
-
And the flip side of this is you're not one
-
that loves to obey God. You're not one that appreciates
-
an opportunity.
-
To trust and obey him, and so the devil could
-
just have his way that you. I don't want to
-
be like Legion Wow in the tombsday and night. Job,
-
though he could say somehow, Jesus will.
-
Work it out.
-
I'm sure Job probably wanted to like I would wonder
-
what is the purpose of this? But he knew there
-
is a purpose because I'm called according.
-
To his purpose. There is a purpose. There is a purpose.
-
At the time of Sister How's gad better attack. There
-
was no glory to be given. Seemingly. I remember thinking
-
my wife's gonna die.
-
I remember thinking I'm gonna get left behind raising little children.
-
There was no glory in that, Brother Tyler.
-
There was no sermon being priest in the month of
-
November in the year twenty twenty four about God moving
-
mightily and healing her right. But that was forthcoming because
-
He was a present help in trouble. But tonight we
-
see the end tweling of the Holy Ghost.
-
It's working in Sister How, and it's still working in
-
Sister How for it's good.
-
That night I was laying in bed, she had another
-
gall better attack, and I remember getting stirred in my spirit,
-
just as.
-
A young man.
-
And I heard there in the living room crying out
-
to God and then groaning and crying. It's a terrible
-
thing to go through when the gall bladder's going bad.
-
I watched to put Brother Johnny plaid flat on his back.
-
He was unconscious and inco here I saw him suffering
-
poor sweat. One night at the church, he said, Brother,
-
I fill out my gall bladders rotting in a side
-
of me.
-
And it was that man could take pain. I saw
-
him drop up against the wall and said, I don't
-
know if I'll make it. I saw him wop in the.
-
Same situation, and so I got mad at the devil.
-
Not mad at her that I had to go to
-
work in the morning and that I couldn't sleep, Not mad.
-
At her because she might have.
-
Been waking up the kids, which she wasn't. But I
-
got mad at the defel. We got to direct some
-
of this negative feelings and energy at.
-
The depth fail.
-
And so I want my holy boldness, Like I'm walking
-
right now in there to that kitchen, and on top
-
of every free I pulled out that bottle of all and.
-
I had forgot, I'm getting all your bottles of war.
-
I pulled it off of the top of that refrigerator,
-
pulled the cap on it, put the old two finger
-
on it, gifted sister looton.
-
And I walked right over every where she was suffering
-
that under that ceiling fan. And I speak as a
-
fool right now, but I said enough is enough. I said,
-
I'll rebuke you devil in the name of Jesus. And
-
I said, God, you're a healer, You are a healer.
-
And I asked you to heal my wife right now
-
in the name of Jesus. And instantly that woman that
-
had been seeking the Holy Ghost for two.
-
Years went through to the Holy Ghost.
-
It was the first time I ever seen her shout
-
the way you walt see or shout about every service.
-
It was the first time I'd ever heard her holler
-
in the spirit. I've watched it happen in my living room.
-
You get serious about God at home, you get us
-
about God and much bak.
-
You don't mean to rock God sitting there there with
-
some foolish people in this duty. You don't need to
-
ask God for hed on plesion. You don't need to
-
ask God for an opportunity to be.
-
Proud of your back or have a God out again
-
side of your body.
-
Her feet and argain.
-
But I saw her back, tised you in the Holy
-
girlsta in the spirit. For the first time I knew
-
she was non of the Holy Gostel.
-
Then I'm not parlor and she steing where I prayed
-
every night.
-
Get a pastor appreciation. You're hurt, brother Jesse, say well,
-
I was raising my kids up.
-
I was standing in a certain place on that house
-
and pray.
-
With him every night.
-
After clot span Sir, my rock.
-
For her ass closed the shouting and the ploy of
-
God her she ended up in that bury place, and
-
she said, down prepars the table A.
-
Tell me he' the parents and her mind in.
-
Me watch her wat's Jesus looking out. I said, get
-
a new Charles.
-
Her mother gets me. When I fall, I shall. But why,
-
I said, well, come on now, left.
-
I'll tell us somebody left in the sport and left
-
Jesus is the one looking out.
-
There's a purpose. She went on to her side.
-
The twenty third song in the fifth birs mostly thou
-
preparist the table before me.
-
In the presence, I'm running to mesa. She went from
-
clutching her chest to her hands in the air and
-
walking in the spirit, Walking in the spirit, walking in
-
the spirit.
-
Come on there.
-
The spirit could take you a lot of pain. The
-
spirit could take you a more problems. The spirit could
-
take you a more pressure. That's what Charles Thurnson said.
-
He said, when I got to be a business with
-
my Jesus, the great preacher.
-
That he was, he said, I had to have a
-
personal encounter with my own order in order to have
-
to buy an interval. Then I'm telling somebody up.
-
In this fielding up.
-
Make him your daughter and Rots what it does for you,
-
I said, And make him Da and Roger what you
-
got done for you. David, it's the one that gave
-
a subscription.
-
The sister how he used as the Holy Ghost, gave
-
her inspiration an auction. David was misunderstood by his brethren.
-
A man whom he protected tried to kill him numerous times.
-
He served as that special man's bodyguard. He drove evil
-
spirits off of that man, and that man tried to
-
kill him.
-
Brother Tyler now prepares the table before me, and as.
-
It's a mount enemies, thou anointest my head with all
-
my cup runneth over, my cup, runneth over.
-
Let me tell you young people something.
-
You better have enough of God that if your guts
-
get laid open on the highway, that the spirit of.
-
God shows up.
-
One night we were in a service that I spoke
-
to an old church of God woman with authority that
-
of the Holy Ghost, and I said, some now on
-
a dark highway.
-
Something's gonna happen. You remember, brother Philip.
-
It was probably the space of about ten years, and
-
just right up the road here between Level.
-
And Alva on a Sunday night. I had to go
-
into a church where her children went and was not holding.
-
But they said that that woman whenever they got tea
-
boroned out there on State Roade eighty.
-
That almost certain, I mean pretty much.
-
Most of the bones in her body had been broken
-
and the things had been cut open.
-
There were many lacerations, and one of the.
-
Reports of the paramedic was this said, she's appeared to
-
be an older American woman, probably of the Pentecostal persuasion.
-
She still had the outward standard. And one of the
-
things they said, pa was when we pushed her into
-
the er and she was in.
-
The final moments of her life, they said she was
-
speaking in a foreign language.
-
She was speaking in tongues. I believe like the Pentecostals do,
-
and I feel an option of.
-
The Holy Ghost here to not just some of you
-
as dead as a door nail.
-
Even right now, I'm telling you you're gonna need to
-
steer the God to go with you every step of
-
the way. He ain't though I walked to the Valley
-
of the Shadow of Death. They shouldn't take a snake handling,
-
snake charming and.
-
Counting us sing what I die, look at die sticking.
-
In tongues, and for a Pentecostal the person ought to
-
have enough daughter and the last them.
-
And say honor this other spirit. I come on now.
-
I guarantee you with Steve connect with the stone Ada
-
and the re alive.
-
Well, I guarantee you the power of DNA.
-
This on that man else the still a painter and
-
pulling the Holy gast pyres. In no way he's wots
-
o Jesus looking up if he calls it that he
-
can apostle Pa.
-
To my salvation. I'm telling you, has Jesus meal without paying.
-
Lodd this man to know and now of the tribulation,
-
the no, the tag, I know the child. I know
-
that Jesus is with me in the stone card together.
-
He's standing by my side when I hear.
-
That in the order, he holds my hand.
-
When I'm again to tremble, you may tremble, and that's
-
all I you remember who's holding your hand. Watch Jesus
-
working out in Joe Taptaen number forty two, Miss number twelve.
-
The Bible said, So the their pres the liar in
-
the tb the more that has beginning you can ask him.
-
How did the blesser terrible? And Joe could say, I
-
got a girl.
-
Named Tomama, I got another the name because Allah, I
-
got another name.
-
Call her in Harpta. Joe the look a hundred and
-
forty years her there.
-
The trial, then after the blessing, Well he's soft to
-
loenerations there blessing, Iba said.
-
Joe, God, oh and full the days.
-
Let's talk about that.
-
Your fine.
-
You need to be spirit feeling. I'm feeling in my soul.
-
We can't afford.
-
To be lethargic. We can't afford to be part of
-
the lay of the seam Church. We can't afford to
-
be loop.
-
For Oh, come on now, it is true when I die,
-
let me die speaking their tongue, let the ring and
-
hid my ears, all those songs in our song. And
-
it is true that Joke went through a lot. He
-
went through a tough time, but Jesus worked it out.
-
Somebody right now, rather than looking at me and seeking
-
a hole in ghost, you should have all already had
-
your heart broken, if there was hope for you, if.
-
That was help for you already you feel even if
-
you claim.
-
Young lady to have the Holy Ghost, he shouldn't mean
-
don you by now.
-
I'm telling you there's enough power if it ain't come
-
on now if you take to your God, dear, you've
-
there what you like speed spiritually?
-
What if you want to teach you now that you
-
tell me you to got here, we'll come on now.
-
Held Jesus, I feel like God's revealing us some things.
-
To me, this is what's gonna happen in heaven.
-
The spirit of gods don't know the spear of God's.
-
Gonna quick it.
-
Being a runner, a little claquer.
-
Why can't you shake?
-
Why can't you spirit me?
-
Sod 't God hold a fool? The days by the
-
journey jo God being old and fool a day?
-
So then a.
-
Part of telling life was better than the purs happened.
-
With that listens to his children that love it, that
-
keeps to magics that were praising, taking they were getting everything.
-
O lordly bed of Jesus, that said, matters.
-
That's your sister, All things work together for a good.
-
Let's move up here to the altar. We should be
-
here already. We should be here already. We should be
-
here already. That's about twelve and archers already have we done,
-
and all things work together forgotten to them and love
-
God to them who are a card according to his
-
purposs Well, I'm not gonna get into spirit luck loss
-
the Spirit. I say, help with our infirmities, for we
-
know not what we should pray for as we ought,
-
but the Spirit. It's help make the transcension to us.
-
We grow as which cannot be uttered. And he is searcheth.
-
The hearts know it.
